Chapter 7: Life is Incredible!
Upon returning home, the kids' attitudes had noticeably improved. Violet started wearing her hair back with a headband. Dash also argued less with everyone about everything. In fact, both of them started doing chores around the house to help their parents and doing better in their activities. They even started doing activities with their parents, such as playing football, video games, even helping to take care of Jack-Jack. They also worked on training their powers. Violet learned how to control her force fields and Dash learned new tactics for his speed.
At the same time, they went on more missions, each time being successful and enjoying dinner with Mirage afterward. Mirage couldn't help but be happy that the children loved what she did for them. At one point, after she gave them their payment, they gave her a gift in return.
"Miss Mirage, we want to thank you for all you've done for us." Violet said before Dash produced a bouquet of flowers.
"For you." Dash said.
Mirage gasped, "Oh, they're beautiful! Thank you!" she said, tears at the edge of her eyes as she took the flowers before she gave the children a hug.
Once the kids returned home, they bought their parents gifts using the money that they had earned, which made their parents extremely grateful.
"As far as I'm concerned, our lives couldn't be better." Violet said.
"Yeah, our lives are incredible right now." Dash said.
