"We need to find that thing." Spider-Man said to the people in the room.
After witnessing the creature's uprising, they need to find where it went and how to stop it. Dark had that whole thing recorded in her hidden earrings, and sent the feedback to White Tiger and Iron Fist, who sent it to Fury. They inform him about the situation and will send backup once they locate the creature.
"The problem is, due to the EMP field it's making, we can't determine where it went." Graham said to the two heroes.
"You really depend too much on your technologies." Dark said to the group plainly. "There is one way to find that thing, and is to track in the old fashion way."
"You're going to hunt, aren't you?" Ford questions the dark hero.
"In a way, we're gonna track that thing, before it could hit any nuclear buildings. While we do that, you people are gonna figure out who or what was the MUTO calling." Dark said to the group.
"Hmm…" Spider-Man rubbed his chin before looking at the screen that shows the second MUTO spore. "What if…what if it was calling to the other MUTO?"
This caught everyone's attention. "You mean, the other spore?" Serizawa asked him.
Spider-Man nodded his head. "Think about it. Why else was that thing using echolocation?"
"But that's impossible!" Graham interjected. "It was dormant. Dr. Serizawa confirmed it."
"Lady, do you honestly think that creature will stay forever dormant?" Dark questions the Senior Paleozoologist, who becomes silent and possibly agrees to her words. Dark turned back to the head of MONARCH. "Doc, you better tell us where you put the other spore. We need to know where it is before it wakes up."
"It was highly radioactive." Serizawa answered to Dark. "It was disposed of."
"Please tell me you place it in a secure area?" Spider-Man begged.
"The American Government took it." Graham confessed, and Spider-Man sulk, knowing that they have to pull a lot of strings to get their approval.
"If they have, they must've put it somewhere far out of reach." Dark said to the group. "And I know where it is."
"Where?" Ford asked Dark.
"Where all nuclear waste is secured and hidden." Dark said before looking at the screen. "Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository in the mountains of Nevada."
"They brought that huge thing from the Philippines to Nevada?!" Spider-Man exclaimed in shock. "How's that possible?!"
"The transportation was provided by Stark Industry." Serizawa answered Spider-Man. "Mr. Stark provided the advance transportation of the spore."
"Find out why it was calling that spore and you-" Dark points at a nearby soldier that was guarding the door. "Call your admiral and inform him about the second spore. It might awaken soon, and it's upbringing is gonna be like the first MUTO."
The soldier understood and quickly left to inform his superior. Dark turns to Spider-Man. "Spidey, we're going to meet with the others to track that MUTO."
"How will you be able to find it?" Graham asked her.
"Don't worry, I already sent a team to investigate." Dark assures the scientists.
"What kind of team?" Ford asked, wondering if she has a private mercenary group.
"A professional kind that no one should dare piss off." Dark said with a grin.
The team that Dark was referring to are professional monster hunters.
Those are Lex Woods, Vida the Huntress, and Devlin the Witch. They were riding on a Yautja spacecraft that belonged to their partners Celtic, Chopper, and Ahraan, flying through the Pacific Ocean. The three Yuatja Brothers came along for their partners as they were contacted by Dark of a giant alien Kaiju. When they heard about this, they had to investigate. They steer clear from a creature, for it has its own EMP field around it, preventing them from going near it. But they stayed close, camouflage.
"There it is." Lex said, looking the MUTO on the screen as it flew towards a certain destination.
Devlin looks at the beast with an unreadable expression. "So, it's true then, a Kaiju shall rise and lay waste to the world."
"Not if we have to say about it." Vida said to Devlin. "Even though we can't risk fighting the creature, it doesn't mean we can track it."
"Why must we track it instead of fighting it?" Celtic asked his human partner.
"Because the creature is filled with radiation." Vida answered him. "If we somehow kill it, we will also be releasing deadly amounts of radiation. It will kill a wide range of living organisms."
"It would destroy the entire planet." Chopper said, looking through the data from the monitor.
"That is true, we can't risk any exposure to the radiation." Lex said before looking at her mate, Ahraan. "Where's it heading?"
"From what we mapped, the creature is heading towards the ocean." Ahraan answered his mate. "And it appears it is going to dive."
"Why is it going underwater?" Devlin asked. "Are there schools of fish down there?"
"Not likely, there are no signs of sea life." Chopper informs them, showing them a holographic underwater image. "But there appears to be an underwater vessel over there."
Chopper brings the holographic image of what appears to be a submarine. They observed it carefully before the three women recognized the design of the submarine.
"That's a Russian Submarine…" Vida said out loud, looking at the image.
"Why is it following a sea vessel?" Celtic asked.
"Dark said that this creature is looking for any source of radiation." Lex informs the group. "And that Russian submarine carries nuclear reactors. It's going after food."
"We have to stop it before-"
Before Lex could make her plan, the MUTO suddenly dives into the ocean, creating a huge splash. Ahraan quickly moves away before the ship gets dragged away by the water. The MUTO sensed the nuclear reactors and attacked the submarine. The men inside screamed as the MUTO resurfaced to grab the submarine on its hook-like jaw.
"Crap!" Vida yelled.
The MUTO shakes its head violently, crushing the submarine until a small crack appears, followed by screaming men, falling into the waters. They watched helplessly as the men fell into the water while MUTO took off to the sky with its prize in its jaws.
"Shit, we have to save them." Lex said before turning towards Devlin. "Devlin, you know what to do."
Devlin gives a wink. "You got it."
With that said, Devlin created a life SAR boat and teleported her, Lex, and Vida as Coast Guards. The boat quickly went to screaming men and the three women on the boat threw life preservers at them.
(Hang on!) Lex yelled at the Russians.
They worked together to bring the men on to the boat, giving them warm blankets and treating their wounds from the fall. They were all rambling about a giant monster attacking them and stealing their submarine.
(Was there anyone left on your submarine?) Vida asked, speaking in Russian.
(N-No…I…I don't know. It happened so fast.) Said one of the men. (It happened so fast…and…and…)
Vida stops him when he looks like he is going into shock. (You need to rest. We're taking you to the closest mainland for treatment.)
While Vida and Devlin tend to the men, Lex contacts Dark about the attack and the MUTO escapes with a Russian Submarine with nuclear reactors. When Dark heard about this, she swore under her breath, she knew that they had to find that MUTO before it strikes again.
"I just got a call from the team I sent, they saw the MUTO stealing a Russian submarine in the North Pacific, full of nuclear reactors." Dark told everyone as they headed to the control room.
Graham gasped in horror. "Oh, my goodness, are the people…"
"Don't worry, there were coast guards nearby, they saved them. But they don't know if there were any more in the sub." Dark answered them.
"Did they pinpoint the MUTO's destination?" Serizawa asked Dark.
Dark simply nodded her head. "Yes, from what they learn from the survivors, one of them left a distress signal. They were able to pick up its location."
"Where is it going?" Graham asked.
"They found out that it was heading northwest of Diamond Head on the Island of Oahu." Dark said to the group. "But there's more, if that MUTO lands on that island, it would be close to the city of Honolulu."
"But…the locals…and the tourists, they need to be evacuated." Spider-Man said to the group. "That MUTO would cause a rampage!"
"But how can you evacuate everyone?" Ford asked her.
"Trade secret, buddy." Dark said before looking at Admiral William Stenz, "Admiral, my team and I are going ahead. We need to get those people out of there before the MUTO goes into the city."
Admiral Stenz understood the situation and agreed, "Go, we will send a team to help with the situation."
"I doubt they can help." Dark thoughts but didn't say anything. "Just find the sub, and don't engage with the MUTO. We don't want it rampaging through the city."
Spider-Man agrees with Dark before turning to Ford. "You should come with us, we can take your dad to a nearby hospital there."
Ford agrees. "Thanks, I need to take a flight back to San Francisco, I have to see my family."
"Sure," Dark said before they headed out to the flight deck, where they saw the quinjet ready for them.
The medical team brought Joe in a gurney. He was still unconscious and was still recovering from his injuries. Ford stayed by his father's side as Dark and Spider-Man brought him to the jet while introducing him to their other teammates. They set off to Hawaii, hoping to stop the MUTO from going to the city. Fortunately, the creature didn't arrive, yet, as they landed the jet at a nearby landing platform. They dropped Joe off at the hospital while Ford went to the train station to go to the airport while Dark and her team met up with Special Forces Team Sparta 1 to find the MUTO. Their sources found out the location of the submarine near the jungle.
Meanwhile, Ford was on a train leading to the airport. Ford didn't like the idea of leaving his dad's side in his condition, but he needs proper treatment and when he's strong enough to recover, he will be returning back to San Francisco. Sighing, Ford brought out one of the toys he'd found back at the house in Janjira, an old soldier figure which he turned around in his fingers a few times.
-Aloha, and welcome aboard. The train will begin moving shortly. Remain seated, and no smoking. Thank you.- The train announcement said.
Ford then looks up in time to see a Japanese boy, wearing a red shirt and blue baseball cap, was watching him and looking at the soldier action figure in his hands with a curious expression. Ford gave the kid a small smile, remembering his son before letting out an exasperated breath.
-Please remember to stay clear of the automatic doors.-
Just then, Ford heard the sound of the child's parents clamoring for their son, Akio, to get away from the doors. But they were too late as the automatic doors closed shut, unable to be open. While the parents struggle to open the door along with Akio, Ford immediately got up and rushed over trying to help pry the door open to let the kid out, but it wouldn't budge. While Akio cries for his parents, the train lurches forward and begins moving, with the kid and parents both running along the train keeping eye contact as they try to assure their crying child. Ford ran to the kid and caught him, trying to remember how to say to the parents that it would be all right.
Suddenly, a man in his late thirties came. He has tan skin, green eyes, and black hair. He stood at Ford and Akio's side, speaking fluently in Japanese.
"Watashitachi wa kare o mimamorimasu." He said to the parents loudly before taking out his phone with his number written to it. "Kore ga watashi no bangōdesu. Tsugi no eki de aimashō." We will watch him. Here's my number. We'll meet you at the next station.
Akio's parents understood him and quickly wrote down his number while the train left the station. Little Akio whimpers sadly, earning sympathy looks from the passengers. Ford was about to comfort the boy until the man that spoke Japanese gently pats his head.
(Don't worry, kid. We will bring you back to your parents at the next station.) The man assures Akio.
Akio sniffles but nods his head in understanding. The man offered his hand and the boy accepted it. He leads the boy to the empty seat and helps him sit down. Ford was surprised to see how the child is easily calmed down by the stranger as he offered the boy a candy bar, which he accepted. As Akio eats, Ford looks at the man with a grateful look.
"Hey, man, thanks. I had no idea how to speak to them." Ford thanked the man.
The man nodded his head. "My pleasure, I know the feeling about a child being separated." He said, patting the head of Akio.
"You have kids?"
"Two girls, both thirteen, you?"
"A son, he's five years old…" Ford answered almost quietly, thinking of his son waiting for him with his wife Elle. "My name is Ford. Ford Brody."
Ford outreached his hand and the man shook it in return as he introduced himself. "Marco, Marco Kingbird."
"So, what brings you here in Hawaii?" Ford asked, taking a seat next to Akio and Marco sat on the other side of the boy.
"Just seeing the sights, plus I'm meeting up with some acquaintances of mine at the airport." Marco said to Ford casually. "You?"
"Heading back home. Need to see my family."
"Ah. I see."
Akio finished his little snack before he eyed Ford's soldier toy. The lieutenant saw this and smiled, knowing that Akio wanted to hold it.
"Is this what you want? Ford asked, holding up the soldier for Akio.
Akio slowly reached out to take the soldier, a bit shy but happy to receive a present.
"Take good care of him for me." Ford said with a kind smile. "I better not miss my flight, kid." He joked.
Marco chuckles at this, "You don't have to worry, his parents have my number. I'll take him back to them so you won't miss your flight."
"What about you?" Ford asked, remembering that Marco was going to meet with some acquaintances.
"Oh, don't worry, they'll know I'll be a little late." Marco assures Ford.
While Ford keeps an eye on Akio, Marco looks over the hallway behind him to see some people he recognized. Those people are clones of Stefano and Giovanna.
Stefano and Giovanna's clones were disguised as tourists, pretending to be on vacation. However, they and Marco were sent here by Dark to save the civilians from getting killed by the MUTO. They were not the only ones here. Lex, Vida, and Devlin, wearing civilian clothing, were at the city before they split up to study their surroundings, in hopes to find an escape route.
"Is everyone in position?" Dark asked everyone telepathically.
"We're ready at the beach." Lex said.
"All the troops are on the train." Marco responded.
"Celtic and I are at the airport." Vida responded.
"The beach is full of tourists and locals, we need a big teleportation spell for this." Lex said as she and Ahraan (who was camouflage) were investigating the beach.
"That's why Devlin is here. She's gonna teleport them to a safe distance while Foxtrot prepares to open a groundbridge in the airport to get the people out." Dark explains the plan.
"You know it." Devlin said as she and Chopper stood on top of a building. "By the way, how's the search on the sub?"
"Still looking for it. We're in the jungle with some special forces group and for some reason, the sub somehow got here in the jungle." Dark responded.
"Be careful, the creature is not like anything we faced before." Lex warns them.
"Will do."
Dark, Spider-Man, White Tiger, and Iron Fist were with Sparta One in the jungles of Oahu just outside the main city. They trudged through the damp woods on their way to find the submarine which was lost. Along the way, they could hear the sounds of the forest coming alive all around them. The birds with their long, high pitched, almost mournful calls chilled them to their bones, mostly the soldiers. There was a sense of dread building in each of their hearts as they moved through the darkness. They may have been soldiers, but they were still human and they knew that something beyond their understanding was at work here. Something that was much worse than any enemy with a gun they could ever hope to face. Even though they have superpowered heroes, their odds of survival are slim.
"Do you think that thing is here?" Whispered a Solider to Dark, trudging along the jungle's path.
"Possibly," Dark responded, carefully moving a branch off her face. "The MUTO is close by, feeding on the nuclear reactors like an all you can eat buffet."
"Damn." Said another soldier. "Hope it's still not hungry."
"Judging by the size and the amount of nuclear reactors of the sub, I doubt it would suffice the creature's appetite." Iron Fist said to the group.
This made the group worried but it didn't stop them from searching for the sub. But as they kept walking, the tracker started beeping loudly. Knowing that they were getting closer, they moved forward and the device was getting higher readings. Soon, they came upon what they had been looking for.
"What the hell?" One of them asked.
They all stepped forward when they saw a giant object covered in white goop. Dark came forward and used her hand (which was covered by a glove) to wipe away some of the goop, revealing the radiation warning label beneath. Spider-Man and the Leader of the Spartan One leans on both her sides, grimacing at the sight of the goop.
"Eeehhh…" Spider-Man gagged at the sight.
"Jesus…" The leader of the Spartan One said quietly, watching the goo ooze and fall off of Dark's hand. "What is that shit?"
Before Dark could answer, another bit of goop fell down from above them, missing by the inch. They quickly backed away and looked up while the leader shines his flashlight in the same direction. But as he did, what they saw made him and his team almost jaw dropped at the sight. There, on top of the trees as the propeller of a submarine above their heads. Neither he nor his team could believe what they just found.
"Oh…my…God…" The leader said out loud.
Just then the chopper's lights fell upon them as well. The sub lit up under the lights and showcased the fact that it was all being held in the air by the trees. Suddenly, the helicopter pilot spoked through them from the communicators.
-Charlie 3, we have located your Russian sub…and you're not gonna believe what else we found- One chopper pilot said through the communicator while he and his co-pilot stared at the helicopter's windows with wide eyes.
"Holy shit." The Co-pilot muttered out in shock.
The choppers' shine their lights down just in time to witness the MUTO picking the sub's nuclear reactors out and swallowing the whole, one by one. The MUTO dove back into the sub as the chopper pilots looked on in horror at what it was doing and how it could be doing it.
"…We're gonna need a bigger chopper." Spider-Man said, referring to the helicopters that will be no match for the creature in front of them.
The leader of the squad nodded his head in agreement, knowing that they don't have a chance against this creature.
"Ookaay…does anyone have a plan on facing this giant alien?" White Tiger pleaded, eyeing at the MUTO in shock.
"I don't think we have a plan for this." Dark said to everyone. "We can't let it…"
Dark words trailed off when she felt an unknown energy from a distance. She turned to the ocean with wide eyes, and the others looked at her confused.
"Dark? What's wrong?" Spider-Man asked in concern.
"Something is coming," Dark responded in a whisper.
"What's coming?" Asked the leader of the Spartan One.
Dark narrows her eyes at the ocean. "Something ancient."
Back on the USS Saratoga, Admiral Stenz watched the live thermal feeds from the soldiers and the choppers. This was getting out of hand, he knew it. The MUTO is a big threat to humanity.
-Seems to be rising… possibly twenty to thirty meters above the treeline. Can't tell how wide it is.- The chopper pilot reported.
"Cat's out of the bag, Doctor. No more secrets." Admiral Stenz walked over to Serizawa. "Our highest priority now is safety. There's close to a million people on that island."
The Admiral then turns to Captain Hampton, giving him orders to have eyes in the air while Serizawa bowed his head in somewhat sadness. As a scientist, destroying this specimen instead of understanding would destroy years of research, but ultimately, it was for the best. Lives were at stake. Before Serizawa could respond.
Just then, alarms started blaring through the room. One of the soldiers monitoring the satellite and sonar screens saw something and informed his superiors.
"We're picking up something else, approaching from the Pacific."
Hearing this, Serizawa looked up in disbelief as he then walked out of the room, passing Graham, as the admiral declared that everyone must go to general quarters to check the object that was coming. Graham followed Serizawa into the hallways, wondering about his sudden departure.
"Where are you going?" Graham asked Serizawa, following him through the hall.
"Up to the flight deck, I think he is coming!" Serizawa responded to Graham, almost sounding out of breath.
"What are you doing?" Graham asked, walking through the door.
"I have to see this," Serizawa said, gesturing for her to remain behind as he continued running through the halls, leaving a worried Graham.
As Serizawa made it to the flight deck, he saw an F-35 and an F-18 being deployed from the runways of the carrier to engage the MUTO. Yet, Serizawa knew it would not be enough. For only one who can face the MUTO.
And indeed, something was coming, for Lex, Vida, and Devlin sensed an ancient predator that lived hundreds, or maybe more, was coming. And knew who he was. Devlin, who was standing on the highest building with Chopper, looks at the ocean with an unreadable expression on her face.
"The King is coming." She said in a soft tone.
Meanwhile, at the beaches, there was Luau taking place. People were chatting, eating, or having fun, until helicopters were flying overhead. It caught the attention of a few of the party goers. They all stopped what they were doing to watch in confusion. Unsure of why helicopters, let alone military ones, would be flying around here during a Luau. Was there someone special coming?
However, that was not the case.
A little girl, who is just sitting in her chair, eating dinner with her parents, suddenly stops to watch the helicopters fly by. Soon, one of the choppers dropped several men onto the rooftops of some buildings. They all took positions along the edge, watching and waiting for something to happen.
Devlin and Chopper were in the highest building, watching the soldiers ready themselves to face the threat that would come. Yet, unbeknownst to them, they are nothing but insects, opposing no threat to the one that is coming.
"They will die if they try to attack him." Devlin said to Chopper, who agreed with her.
Back on the train, Ford sat quietly with Akio while Marco was keeping the young boy entertained. Then both Marco and Ford heard the sounds of the airplanes flying by. They turned their heads to take a look with Akio turning all the way around to see the jets. He was awed by the sight but the two adults were suspicious by this.
"Two, Charlie 6 we are circling the target. Go on your command… Standby, I got a visual. Bogey at my twelve," said the F-35 pilot.
Dark's eyes widened when she heard incoming jets heading their direction. "Oh, shit!"
Before Dark or anyone could do anything, the jets came, startling the MUTO when it tried to finish its meal, causing it dropped the container down towards the group. They all dove away quickly to avoid being crushed by the giant container.
"DON'T COME TOO CLOSE! GET OUT OF HERE!" Dark yelled to the jets, helping the team leader of the squadron up his feet.
"That thing is a living EMP!" Spider-Man warned.
But they didn't hear nor listen to them to heed their warnings. The MUTO roared as its right front arm began to alight with a reddish orange glow along the curved hook at the end leading partially up the forearm as it was slowly raised into the air. The MUTO let out another roar and its body tensed, signaling it was about to strike.
"Take cover!" Dark yelled.
The MUTO slammed its arm down on the ground, releasing an EMP blast through the area. Shutting down all power in a five-mile-wide radius, which includes the jets and choppers.
"SHIT!" Dark yelled when she saw the aircrafts were falling.
Using her magic, she teleported the pilots out to safety before pushing both Spider-Man and the leader away as one of the jets went down, crashing into the ground and sending a shock wave at the soldiers who were in the way. The concussive force of the blast threw some soldiers off several feet but survived.
The explosion lit the skies in the distance as the train continued on ahead. However, the lights went out along the track, lurching into a halt, throwing everyone off balance, causing everyone to gasp and yell in shock. Marco caught Akio and held him close to keep him safe as Ford steadied himself against the sudden stop.
"You two all right?" Marco asked with Akio in his arms.
The two nodded their heads at the man.
(Why is the power out?) Akio asked, holding the toy tightly.
(There might be some technical problem.) Marco responded to Akio. (Not sure how long the power will come back.) Marco then looks at Ford, who watches their conversation. "He asked why the power was out."
"Ah, well, just give it ten seconds, lights are gonna come back on," he assured the boy and Marco translated. "It's okay," he said as he held Akio's hand.
Ford himself was a bit perplexed for a moment as he remembered the MUTO used an emp attack back at Janjira. He wondered if it came or it was just a malfunction in the system. But then again, with the military here, it's unlikely to be a malfunction. Ford hopes that the MUTO isn't close for he needs to get Akio home, and then go back to his home, to see his family. The last thing he needed was for the MUTO to stop him from his goal. While he was lost in thought, Marco observes him carefully, studying his body movements.
"Marco, can you hear me?" Cornelia spoke through his mind, via telepathy.
Marco leans back, looking at the dark ceiling. "Loud and clear, Cornelia. What is your status?"
"I am in position to help the civilians, but something is coming, ancient and powerful and is greater than the MUTO."
Marco narrowed his eyes and looked at the darkness of the window. "He's coming." He whispers out.
Ford heard this and looked at Marco in confusion. "Who's coming?"
Back on the beaches where the luau was taking place, Lex was among the crowd, who were distracted by the sudden blackout. The clones of Stefano and Giovanna are scattered around the beach, disguised as tourists, ready to help the people. Just then, Lex notices the ocean receding, and rapidly. Fish which had been schooling close to shore were now stranded on the sands, left behind by the rapidly retreating ocean waters.
Lex's eyes widened at the sight before turning to the crowd of people with a powerful yell.
"EVERYONE! RUN! THERE'S A TSUNAMI COMING!"
Her yell caught everyone's attention as they caught sight of the retreating ocean. This caused everyone to scream in panic before running away as the tsunami alarms began going off all across the island.
And in that singular moment, all Hell broke loose.
The beaches began clearing of people rapidly as they all scrambled to reach a safe distance in time. They couldn't see the wave yet, but they knew it was coming. It usually didn't take long for the wave to follow the ocean's retreat. The beach, which had been nearly filled to capacity for the luau, was empty in seconds and the once pristine and beautiful luau environment had been abandoned due to the incoming wave.
Lex then saw a girl standing frozen in her spot as Lex could hear the father calling out his daughter's name: Zoe from the sea of people screaming. Seeing this, Lex quickly picks up the terrified girl in her arms and runs along the crowd. The people ran for their lives.
"Sky Brigade! Cornelia! Get these people to safety now!" Lex ordered telepathically.
Obeying her words, the clones activated their hidden jetpacks and took off to the sky. Grabbing some civilians and tourists to the sky, and placing them on top of the buildings, before retrieving the rest. Many saw this and willingly to be taken by them. Many begged to be rescued, but soon screamed when they suddenly were lifted from the ground and placed on top of the buildings. Cornelia used her psychic ability to bring the people to the buildings while she remained hidden in the dark sky.
While rescuing the people, a dog that was tied to a tree was barking wildly towards the ocean. The tsunami warning had reached most sections of the island. Luckily, Cornelia widened her psychic range to bring the people to safety as the wall of water was approaching them, and was over three stories tall. The dog's barking was replaced by a single whimper at the sight. Just then, Ahraan, who was camouflage, uses his blade to cut the dog's leash from the tree. Allowing the dog to run for it.
The wall of water cascaded through the island crushing trees, throwing cars like they were leaves, and tearing through smaller buildings as if they were nothing but paper. The dog continued to sprint away through the streets as fast as its legs could take it.
Soon, the dog was suddenly picked up by Lex, who was holding Zoe in her other arm, and carried them both to safety. Due to her being an advanced being, Lex quickly jumps onto a car as leverage, then a lamppost, before rocketing herself to a nearby building, running through the glass windows with ease. She lands on top of the building and puts the girl and the dog down.
"Are you okay, sweetheart?" Lex asked the young girl, holding her shoulders gently.
Zoe nodded her head with teary eyes before hugging Lex, thanking the woman for saving her. Lex holds the young girl close, comforting her gently. Ahraan was close by, invisible, watching the destruction up fold. The dog whimpered again when the tsunami came. It was nearly three stories in height, almost nowhere was safe anymore save for the buildings which had numerous levels such as the hotels and office buildings. As the wave traveled through the area, it put out dozens of blocks worth of street lights, killed the power in almost every building it passed, and sent hordes of debris and dead bodies floating along the surface.
The civilians were safe on top of the higher buildings, out of reach from the tsunami's wrath. Some were shocked and horrified by this, while some were praying and crying. Stefano and Giovanna stood at the edge of the building, while their clones were in different buildings with other civilians. Stefano took out advanced binoculars to see if anything was wrong. Suddenly, he spotted something out of the ordinary. He nodded his head at his twin.
Giovanna took out a flare gun and fired a flare into the dark sky. The red light flew up higher and higher, nearly reaching three hundred feet in height, before emulating the darkness.
Revealing a large figure, bigger than anything that anyone had ever seen before, slowly lumbered forward through the darkness. Everyone gasped in horror, afraid to even let out a scream. The massive titan has a reptilian appearance with dense and scaly skin. Its chest had a set of rugged plates which almost looked like scar tissue, but they were not exactly biologists so they couldn't be certain. Its shoulders were forward, like those of a theropod, but long enough to pass as human in comparison to the rest of its body. Its belly was fairly large as well as it led down to a dense pair of legs, though its feet were hidden beneath the water.
Everyone on the rooftop was stunned and standing in silence. The sounds of the wave had been tuned out completely, and all they heard now was a low rumbling sound. They couldn't believe their eyes that there was a giant monster hidden on Earth.
The soldiers, on the other hand, saw the creature and that it was a threat. They were going to shoot it when they learned that their firearms are disabled or out of bullets. Confused, they tried to use the grenades, only to find them gone. All their explosives and ammunition are gone.
"I wouldn't fire at it if I were you." Stefano warns the soldiers. "It will crush us before you can make a dent."
Hearing his words, the soldiers back off, knowing that they will lose, and because the civilians were giving them pleading looks not to fire as they were afraid to die. Meanwhile, Devlin stood on the highest building with Chopper. She was the one that took the soldiers' ammunition and explosives, for she knew that creature very well.
It came here to fight MUTO and bring back order.
"The King of Monsters has arrived." She said in a hush tone.
So, sorry for the long wait! My work made me lose track of time. I will post more soon.
