Brick drives out of the parking lot and onto the street. In the back of the car Bubbles and Boomer were having a conversation about what animal they'd want to be the most. "All I'm saying is that i'd be prefect as a Dragon." Boomer says in an almost serious tone. "Boomer for the last time Dragons didn't exist." Bubbles says smiling at her boyfriend. Boomer was sitting and thinking about this revelation when Butch joined the conversation. "Honestly Boom if you were any animal i think you'd be a jellyfish." Butch says with a grin. "You mean that?" Boomer says with a hopeful expression on his face. "Yeah i mean think about it. You're both brainless so its a perfect match." Butch says then lets out a hearty laugh. Boomer sits with a serious expression and puts his hand on Butch's shoulder sending a shock through him. "OW you dick. Don't make me kick your ass." Butch says turning around to hit Boomer. "HEY don't make me turn this car around!" Brick exclaims to get his brothers attention. Boomer sticks his tongue out at Butch then goes back to talking with Bubbles. Butch just sits in awe wondering why Buttercup didn't help him.
As they drive onto the highway Brick notices billboards showing that a fair was near them. After the recent events at that hotel maybe they could use some to have fun. Without a second thought Brick turns to make his way to the fairgrounds, what he fails to notice is the Black SUV that's been following them the entire way now making its way behind them. "Why are we getting off the highway?" Blossom asks out of confusion. "I figured we need a little bit of fun to get this trip going well again." Brick says with a smile clearly unaware of what was about to unfold once they reached the fair.
As they pulled into the fairgrounds Brick couldn't help but notice how packed it was. Of course a fair would be filled with people but jeez it was busy. They all exit the car and look around. "Ok we'll split up and just meet up at the car around 8-ish ok?" Brick tells the group but none of them listen. Butch and Buttercup were basically sprinting towards the ticket booth and Boomer and Bubbles were too busy being lost in each others presence to even consider what Brick said. "So what do you want to do first?" Blossom asks taking Bricks hand. She did love the time they got to spend together alone so she was ecstatic. Brick looks down at Blossom and smiles. "Now we can be alone."
Butch and Buttercup make their way to the game section while practically running over people. "Step right up don't be shy. Knock down all the bottles and win a massive prize." The announcer yells to draw attention to his booth. The greens walk up and spot said "massive prize", a giant green stuffed pig. They now had no choice but to win. Buttercup walks up to try only to be stopped by Butch. "Woah woah woah babe how about you let me win it for you like the gentleman i am." He says with a smile. Buttercup looks at him with a deadpan expression . "Butch just move." She says with a chuckle. It was cute of him but Buttercup was not going to let that happen. She walks up and grabs a ball then proceeds to knock down every bottle with ease (of course using a bit of her super strength to help). The announcer stares amazed and stammers "uh y-you win" knowing for sure that those bottles were glued together to prevent anyone from winning.
Bubbles and Boomer were making their way through the crowd when they spotted something off to the side, a Botanical Garden. "We should go check that out." Boomer says as he points to the garden. Bubbles looks off at it and without a second thought drags Boomer to it. They arrive to the white gates lining the entrance when an old lady shuffles out. "Im sorry but we're closed for today." The lady was small, barely 5'0, and wearing thick framed glasses. "Is there no way we can just look for a second?" Bubbles asks "I promise we'll only be a second." The lady looks at the young blondes and opens her mouth to speak until she looks Boomer in the eyes and closes her mouth. She stares intensely at the young boy before speaking. "Of course my dear but be quick please." The old lady opens the gate and allows the blondes to enter. They walk through taking a look at every beautiful flower in their sight until they arrive at the back. "So why do you have this at a carnival anyway?" Boomer asks turning to face the old lady only to be met with no one. He looks around but doesn't see her. Something suddenly feels off. "Bubbles im gonna go look around over there." Bubbles nods her head and Boomer goes off. He keeps walking through and looking for the old lady until he finds her turned around tending to a plant. "Oh there you are. I was trying to ask about this pla-" is all he can get out before he spots what she's looking at. A pod of sorts, and inside it he sees the same old lady he's been talking to. His heart drops and he slowly backs away. "Looks like times up." The old lady says. Her body hunches over violently, her spine cracking in the process. She stands up straight suddenly taller. Her once gray hair suddenly turns a bright red and her skin returns to a youthful appearance. Boomer stands frozen with fear as he watches the gruesome scene unfold infront of him. "W-what are you?" Boomer utters as the lady turns around. Upon her turning he sees a long vine moving towards the side Bubbles is on. Quickly realizing what's happening he sprints to Bubbles. "BUBBLES RUN!" Boomer screams trying to get her attention but it was too late. He found Bubbles in the air tangled in the vine unconscious. The vine quickly drags her back to the mysterious lady and throws Bubbles into a pod onside of the Old Lady. The lady exclaims. "The names Pamela. If i were you ,Boomer Jojo, i'd run. It makes it more fun for me."
Brick and Blossom were in line waiting for the Ferris Wheel when Brick saw something he couldn't believe. A small flower sliding through the cracks on the ground, making its way to the Botanical Garden in the back of the fairground. He looked around and saw the leaves of the tree also falling and flying to the Botanical Garden until becoming stuck on the sides of it. "So Brick, now that we're alone, why are we really on this trip?" Blossom says staring ahead at the line. "What? I told you i just thought a road trip would be fun for us." Brick says taken aback by the sudden question. "Brick im not stupid ok. I know something is up. You and your brothers have been acting off ever since we arrived at that Hotel." Brick says nothing and instead looks Blossom in the eyes. He knew she was smart enough to see through a plan but was it THAT obvious? "Blossom its really nothing." He finally says. They finally get a seat on the Ferris Wheel and Blossom responds to him. "Brick do you not trust me or something? I don't understand why you can't just tell me." Brick stares at Blossom with a defeated look. "You won't drop it will you?" Blossom shakes her head no as he asks the question. They reach the top of the Ferris Wheel overlooking the entire park. Brick sighs "Fine ok. The truth is-" is all he gets out when suddenly they hear a scream. They look down in the glass ball they were currently dangling in when they spot the cause of the screams. The Botanical Garden had bursted and a giant plant had sprung from it. They could make out the figure of a woman standing on top of it and running directly away was Boomer himself.
Butch and Buttercup stop dead in their tracks at the Ice Cream stand as the Botanical Garden suddenly explodes. Boomer sprints directly to his brother and Buttercup with a terrified expression. "HELP!" Boomer yells as they spot vines following him. Butch punches hard enough to go through the vines but one snatches Buttercup. "BUTTERS!" Butch yells as he sprints at her. Buttercup using her strength breaks free when 3 more vines shoot out and wrap around her. One with a purple flower shoots some sort of pollen mist out and into her face knocking her out instantly. The vines drag her away into the Garden and into a pod right next to her sister. "WHERE ARE YOU JOJOS!" The lady ontop of the giant plant screams as she throws cars from the parking lot around using her vines. "DUCK!" Butch yells grabbing his little brother and throwing them both to the ground. He cover Boomer and uses his hardening ability to protect him from any debris or falling objects. The vines begin to spin like fan blades, faster and faster, until people go flying backwards leaving only Butch and Boomer. The boys get up and watch as the lady lowers herself down using a staircase of leaves. "Looks like one of you is missing. Not a big deal i'll just slaughter him after I finish with you two." Butch and Boomer get in a fighting stance and look at each other. Boomer looks scared but slowly gets his composure as he sizes up their opponent. She obviously has full control over these plants but is it all plant life? Maybe its just the ones she has with her. No but she wouldn't have been able to walk with those leaves it has to be all plant life. Boomer thinks to himself. "Hey Boom. Lets show her what we're capable of huh?" Butch says smiling at his brother. Boomer looks at Butch and smiles. Having his brother there helps his scared feeling leave a bit. They turn back towards the lady. "GO!" They exclaim as they sprint towards her.
