sorry it took so long for me to write this, but, I have been suffering with writer's block for quite some time now, but, i think i know what to do now. many of you are probably not on here anymore, but maybe this might bring some of you back. A little thing I like to say before I start this chapter. my stories are musicals, I do not own the lyrics, but I use these songs because they have meaning to me and the way the story "pops" if you know what I'm saying... anyways enough of me blabbering, enjoy

Chapter 10 - Life or Death
Lilo and I continued down the path. It was very quiet, maybe a bit too quiet. it was like everything was frozen in time, except Lilo and I. It was a little unsettling, but I shrugged it off.
"Lilo, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I thought I was protecting you and the others," I said with a snuffle.
"I am the one who should be sorry, I shouldn't have jumped to anger so quickly, I should have listened to the full story first." Lilo said.
"I need to show you something, follow me," I said, grabbing her hand and taking her the other direction.
meanwhile, Stitch was worried about Lilo and went looking for her. Didn't take long for him to pick up her sent. He bolted down the path as fast as his paws could take him. The silence was broken by growing wind. A storm was brewing, and drops of rain began to fall slightly at first and grew heavier.
meanwhile, Lilo and I made it to my parents' place as the wind began to pick up, and the rain started to fall.
"this isn't good, this is how the storm started that night..." I thought in my head
"is this where you and Sarah lived?" Lilo asked.
"yes, it was.." I answered twitching my ear around. It was very hard to hear noises over the rain and wind, but it didn't stop me from trying.
"I'm very sorry about your parents" Lilo said. Before i could say a word I heard a rustling bush and out pop a blue fluff ball.
"ahhh" Lilo and I cried out before realizing who it was.
"oh, it's just Stitch" I said relief.
"Soka" Stitch said.
"Okie-taka" I replied. Something still didn't feel right, like we were being watched. "I think you guys need to get in the house. Something doesn't feel right" I said.
"what is it Popper? Lilo asked.
"Somebody is watching us, you need to run in the house I'll protect you" I said as my anka revealed and a dark blade manifested in my paw. Lilo and Stitch nodded their heads and ran in the house. Lightning flashed and the rain increased.
"ah yes, that's right Popper, now, give me my blade, don't do anything stupid" a voice said. A dark figure emerged from the trees. I stood my ground as I got a better look at him with another flash of lightning. Fur as black as night, gray belly, eyes souless almost. It was him alright, and he had me right where he wanted me.
"Zem! Never! you will pay for what you did to my parents!" I said.
"oh, will I now? Where is your sister? mmm I was hoping to kill you both but you'll do for now." Zem said with another flash of lightning. "that blade only answers to me it will never work for you, you're wasting my time" Zem continued. "where is your blade? oh you don't have your full powers yet, hahaha" Zem laughed.
"what are you talking about? I'm ready, I'm supposed to be ready" I said. I thought I was ready. Don't let him in your head, that's what he does. "you're lying" I said.
"we shall see" Zem said. He then made another identical blade appear in his paw with a black foggy mist. He then plunged at me with force and we clashed blades. Lightning roared every clash.
Meanwhile, Lilo and Stitch hidden behind one of the curtains, it was hard to see threw the rain and darkness of night.
"I can't see anything, can you Stitch?" Lilo asked. Stitch could see in the dark but now threw the rain.
"Naga" Stitch replied.
"I hope he'll be ok" Lilo said.
Meanwhile, Zem and I continued to clash blades.
"I'll finish you off and then I'll find your sister and I'll kill her as well, I will be invincible" Zem said as I dodge a kick.
"your power hungry, Zem, that will be your undoing" I said as we locked our blades. I felt a vibration pulsing threw the blade I looked at Zem as he had a horrible sinister smile on his face, he then head budded me and stabbed me with the blade in my paw. I held it still but it hurt.
How? How does this hurt me. I thought in my head. My heart felt heavy and weak. Just as I was about to fall Zem disappeared. Just as I fell i heard a muffled voice.
Music starts*
"Popper!" Lilo screamed as she caught me before I hit the ground.
Popper: Death surrounds
My heartbeat's slowing down
I won't take this world's abuse

There was black mist emanating out of the stab wound*

Lilo tried to put pressure on the wound but it burnt her hand*

Color started to fade off my fur around the wound turning my fur a dull gray*

"Popper? No Popper!" Lilo cried. Lilo and Stitch cried where my body lie. They then were startled by a beam of black light.
