Chapter 14 - The Search Party

Lilo and Stitch were sleeping the rain storm was done. The morning air was warming. Everything was quiet except for the birds. The silence was broken by a very faint voice calling from the distance. "LILO! STITCH! POPPER!" the voice said from a distance. Stitch was the first to hear it. Lilo was laying on Popper's lifeless chest. Stitch was laying beside Lilo. Stitch then perked up with his ears pointing in all directions.

"Gaba?" Stitch said.

"What is it Stitch" Lilo asked being startled awake.

"Stitch hears something" Stitch said.

"LILO! STITCH! POPPER!" The voice said but getting closer.

"That sounds like..." Lilo said.

"Noni" Stitch and Lilo said at the same time. "NONI!" Stitch and Lilo yelled out to get her attention.

"Jumba they are over here" Noni said as she came threw the trees. "oh, thank god you are ok, What happened to Popper?" Noni continued.

"Popper, was, Murdered by his uncle, we thought he got you and Jumba as well" Lilo said crying her eyes out.

"No no no, we went looking for you guys all night then we heard a load explosion, Now our house is once again reduced to pieces," Noni said trying to calm her down. Lilo sobbed more. "Ok, Jumba can you fix him?" Noni continued.

"I'm afraid it does no quite work that easy" Jumba said. Lilo, Stitch and Noni gave him the look. "Hey i wasn't saying no, I'm evil genius after all" Jumba continued. Jumba picked up Popper's body and carried it back to what was left of the house. "AH, yes, My chamber survived" Jumba said as he tripped over a bit of chard lumber.

"That machine didn't work last time you used it on Stitch" Lilo said.

"Ih, Lilo's Love saved Stitch" Stitch said.

"So, why didn't it work on Popper?" Noni said.

"Maybe it takes longer for him" Lilo suggested. "A light orb entered his chest last night, i just don't know how long it will take" Lilo added.

"Ok, well maybe we can see if the machine can speed things up?" Noni said.

"It doesn't hurt to try" Lilo said unsure if it would work.

Meanwhile

We were walking a dark but dimly light path for what seemed like hours or days. "How much longer is this going to take" I said. "You know you can still feel pain in limbo right" I continued.

"What is pain, I've never been alive before" The Shadow said.

"Oh, Well, That changes things a bit then" I replied.

Meanwhile in San Francisco

"Breaking news today! An Explosion leaves house in rubbles but no bodies found, Hawaiian police are unsure of the cause of the explosion was but an investigation is underway" TV was turned off.

"OH No! I hope everyone is ok," Sarah said. Just then Sarah's Ankh started to glow. She began to see everything that happened. "Popper!" She said to herself as she made a portal to Hawaii.

Meanwhile

"Oh No! Shadow can we get there any faster I have a bad feeling my sister is in trouble" I said.

"All most Popper" Shadow said.

"We have to get to her before our uncle does" I said.

Meanwhile

"Few tweaks here, there It should be working when turned on" Jumba said. Just then the portal opened up and Sarah walked through.

"SARAH!" Lilo yelled as she gave her a hug. "he's looking for you it's not safe here" Lilo said.

"I know but I had to come, he's in limbo, he's not dead, Zem thinks he's dead, that's all I know right now, oh and what ever you did Lilo is the reason the darkness didn't consume him, he is being guided to his way out" Sarah said.

"Popper isn't dead?" Lilo asked. "So it did work?" she continued.

"Yes, do you now why Stitch didn't die from his glitch?" Sarah asked.

"Yes, It was my love and Friendship" Lilo answered.

"Yes, but there is more to it" Sarah said. "you are not just a little girl, you are a guardian of all the experiments, you have abilities you can't comprehend. That's all i can tell you so far, the rest is up to you to figure out" Sarah explained.

"That explains why Stitch and I found eachother" Lilo added.

"exactly, you get it, you have so much more to figure out but you are figuring it out" Sarah said. "It's also why Popper and I found you in our time of need" she continued.

"We are all one big Ohana aren't we?" Lilo added.

"Yes we are" Sarah said with a big smile.

"So, it's up to Popper from here" Lilo said.

"Yes, all we can do now is wait" Sarah said.

"My machine didn't work last time, but if little Orange one says he will be back, then we wait" Jumba said.

"Ih" Stitch agreed.

"he will pull through this" Nani added.

"How Sentimental, I may vomit" A voice said. A black and gray Experiment Squirrel came out of the trees.

"No" Sarah said.
