It's been a good few weeks since I met with Cheshire and began to essentially fist fight Quivern. My clothes finally had to be changed out so I made a black duster with a white screaming skull on the back. It also was heat and cold resistant as making multiple sets for the weather just seemed redundant. Getting it to work was tricky but the crafting recipe was added to the crafting knowledge I had. Making a black tank top saying AC/DC, camo cargo pants, boxers, socks, steel toed boots, and a black with purple mixed in were easier. I'm not a fashion expert but honestly I thought I looked good, and well the dead bodies around me didn't get a choice in saying I didn't.

I had moved on from swordplay and gunning unless I wanted to snipe, to just go full on fist fighting. I also had been trying out the lent skill from Cheshire, and well I liked it. Just becoming a bomb was hilarious if not draining as the skill had some bite to it. Still funny though to watch terrorists and eco-terrorist scream in terror upon exploding. Just I learned Shadow Burst consumes their life and blood to deal damage and kill lethally. As the shadows exploding outwards invade the body, while also physically harming it, they sort of use whatever counts as blood as a means to do more damage. They also target the literal life force of a creature which is usually tied to the Palsium in the air, which is used to attack the creature's life force directly.

Watching the whole process is morbidly fascinating with how my eyes see things. Though during my walk outside the camp I ended up near a tower. Although I had no Pals on me, I did have several weapons on me. Also, unless I voluntarily move my bag, it can't be removed or opened by others. I know a rather large gangster tried to rip it off of me and it didn't budge. Thinking a bit I decided to just see what a tower is about so I walked up to it, and immediately I was somewhere else. The place I ended up in it was a dark space with floating dark blue cubes and neon blue outlines. The platform I stood on was large and made up of several smaller dark blue cubes.

The Palsium in the air was absolutely thick and intoxicating, however, that was all discarded when two figures landed violently onto the platform. A Grizzbolt and a rather haughty gangster looking woman. Looking at the two before they could spout some nonsense as they readied to murder me, I moved first. My sword appearing in my hand, I to the woman seemingly disappeared due to my speed as she yelped. Her companion saw me, however, and tried to block my attack. Ducking under the Grizzbolt's stretching out limb, I cut its armpit open making a horrific wound. Blood pooling out of the cut quickly until the Grizzbolt burnt it closed with his electricity.

Skidding to a stop behind the Grizzbolt crying in outrage, his partner startled. Yet I didn't give them any time to rest, I was back on them within seconds. My sword carving through a chunk of the Grizzbolt's flesh along with the woman's left calf slightly. Their screams made me grin, my eyes, however, I could feel glowing brighter. The tower seemed to pulse to my intentions as it slowly slipped from the duo's control. They noticed this as the Grizzbolt truly became enraged.

Before I knew it an electrified fist slammed me into the ground. My muscles locked up as my chest hit the platform knocking the air out of me. The Palsium in the air reacting to my mind snarling and my glare. Shadow burst exploding right in front of the Grizzbolt's face suddenly. The explosive shadows cause the giant Pal to stumble backwards with a scream of dread. I saw his partner's left eye burst and one of her arms explode. He knew she was now badly hurt, the tower keeping her alive as it closed her wounds. Standing up slowly I glared at the Pal with a grin.

"I didn't hear no bell assholes."

My words caused the Pal to flinch with the woman screaming incoherent curses at me. As she did so I could feel the tower doing something, meanwhile my eyes seemingly continued to seize control of the tower. I could feel the damage I had taken repairing itself, taking a step towards the duo I was immediately struck down. As lightning coursed through my body suddenly, I continued to glare at the duo with a grin.

Slowly standing up even while being electrocuted as the tower seemed to focus on healing me suddenly.

"I didn't hear a damn bell!"

The pair looked at me in fear before the Grizzbolt moved and my hell began. I could feel organs burst and repair themselves, flesh being torn apart only to mend, electricity and fists repeatedly slamming me into the platform. The relentless attacks carried on for an hour before I was picked up and thrown over the edge of the platform. Yet my will to torment the duo and kill them moved my hands and arms. My fingers sank into the side of the platform causing the cubes to physically leak blue light as I climbed back onto the platform. They had prepared to leave the tower when I just got back up and stood up with my body protesting.

I could see them flinch and growl in annoyance. Smiling wider I screamed at them before the Grizzbolt suddenly appeared and grabbed my face. Then everything went dark as I was once more electrocuted.

"I DIDN'T HEAR NO BELL YA FUCKERS!"

"Would you just sleep or die already?!"

Watching from a distance as a roughed up Roxy and Grizzbolt exited the tower dragging a body. I tilted my head as even though the body had closed eyelids the glow of his eyes was still noticeable. Whenever he'd briefly wake up, only to be violently concussed again when he started to scream something, the Pal and Human duo flinched with discernable fear and annoyance. The tower they had left from glowing an ominous crimson, as I faintly saw a deranged looking Draconian eye glare at the tower owners. I was both stunned and amused then when the man they were dragging seemed to revitalize himself abruptly.

I could see his free leg suddenly kicking Grizzbolt's hand holding his other legs. From the Pals' pained expression the man did some damage as the giant let him go. Springing onto his feet and suddenly weilding a pistol and sword combo, the man chased the tower masters off screaming something about a bell. The two run away from the madman now chasing them and shooting at them. The tower briefly glowing purple before going inert once more.

Looking at my Univolt I asked him his opinion and where we should go to do business.

"My dear Horizon, do you think that man will be alright?" A snort with popping electricity is his response. "I suppose that yes he'll be fine for a bit until they reach the Syndicate Fortress. However, I feel as if he's familiar… I've heard from my brother Grumil that an Outsider has recently shown up and built up a… veterinary clinic camp for Pals. I wonder if we shouldn't stop by there to get some more information and possibly stock. Hell we may even get to witness something amusing, what do you think?"

My ever faithful companion stares at me before turning and trotting away with my cart. Likely to where that very same camp likely is. Chuckling I followed Horizon as I truly do wonder if something will happen if that really was the new Outsider.
