He looked through the universes again. "Heh, Harmoning Yang… wonder how Chaos Ruby would take it. She might take it poorly or she might feel grateful that a version of her hasn't suffered from her. Probably both!"
He stumbled across a universe. "Oh? What do we have here… oooooooooh! Now this is interesting!"
He looked up with a smile. "So, we all know the story of how Weiss and Neptune got together… but let's say someone else caught Weiss's eye instead. A certain… boar, if you will."

"Do you guys hear that? I think I hear the Iceberg ship sinking… how ironic! Don't mind me, I'll just go ahead and collect some souls…"
"Alright, everyone, Single file!" Bowser said as they were boarding the Koopa Cruiser.
Weiss looked through her scroll. "Do you think electronics interfere with airships?"
"I dunno." Yang shrugged.
"...Better to be safe than sorry." Weiss said, fiddling with the scroll while everyone was starting to board, tuning out Ruby and Pit talking and Byleth mentioning she'll keep an eye on Ruby. "Ooooh, where's that airplane mode, I could've sworn-"
At that moment, a Sledge Bro walked by and bumped into her as he was playfully roughhousing another Sledge Bro. "Ack!" Weiss yelped as she dropped her scroll. "Watch where you're going!" She glared before sighing as she knelt down… when another hand reached out to grab it.
"Oh!"
Weiss looked up and locked eyes with Dimitri. "Oh… uh… hi."
"You dropped your device and… I was going to give it back to you." He said.
"I… I can see that." Weiss said with a small blush.
"What is your name?"
"W-Weiss Schnee. And you?"
"Dimitri."
Claude walked by. "His full name's Dimitri Alexandre Blaidyyd. Kind of a mouthful, if I'm being honest!"
"I… think it's fitting." Weiss smiled. "Um, you're still holding my scroll."
"Oh! Right." Dimitri handed her it as he walked away.
"Wow…" She whispered as she looked at the scroll. "Oh, there's the airplane mode." She turned it on and walked inside.
"...Wait, is this seriously going to be like those sappy Hallmark movies? Ugh, just put me out of my misery already! …Or better yet, I'll keep watching and let the readers squirm for my enjoyment!"
Once they got into the Koopa Cruiser, Weiss wandered around and noticed Claude was hanging from the ceiling with Yang looking at him in awe. She tilted her head, wondering how he was able to do such a thing… before hearing a table being flipped and saw Gloria storming off with a grumble.
Weiss glanced over at Gloria with concern as she turned to Dimitri looking perplexed. "You, uh… okay?"
"Apparently, she does not take losing to a game of cards very well. She went on a Scottish tirade and everything."
Weiss sweatdropped. "I see… did she do anything else?"
"No, it was, shall we say… controlled."
Weiss looked at the table. "You call that "controlled"?"
Dimitri chuckled. "Admittedly, it'd be a lot worse."
Weiss chuckled with him. "I suppose you're right."
At that moment, the alarm started blaring as they turned their heads before running off to see what was going on.
Later, at Hoohoo University…
Weiss wandered around, her rapier at the ready in case if anyone tried to attack her. She would immediately be ambushed by a few Overkilling Machines as Weiss immediately got ready to defend herself… only for Areadbhar to skewer through them with ease. "Oh!"
"Damnable robots…" Dimitri said as he pulled his weapon away and spotted Weiss. "Oh! Weiss, I didn't see you there."
"You didn't?"
"From my eyes, it looked like they were about to plan something so I decided to nip that in the bud. I had no idea that they were ambushing you."
"I could have handled them myself-"
"I'd believe that."
"-But… thank you anyway." Weiss gave him a sweet smile that caused him to slightly blush but smiled back.
Nearby, Claude peeked in with Hilda. "Oho, I see the big guy's getting a crush."
"Really? …I dunno, I don't really see it with those two."
"Ah, It'll work out."
Waaaaay later…
"Nyahahaha!" Bowletta cackled as she backhanded Weiss and breathed fire, but she rolled out of the way and used a glyph to fire ice chunks at her, but she batted them away as Weiss lunged and tried to stab her, but Bowletta knocked her down and raised her arm up.
In a quick flash, Dimitri swooped in and blocked with Areadbhar. "Are you alright?" He asked.
"Y-yeah." Weiss nodded as Dimitri pushed Bowletta back as he swung Aredbhar around but Bowletta caught it with her hand.
"Is this supposed to be a spear… or is it a backscratcher? I'm confused!" She said and then swiped down on his eye.
"AAAAAUUUGH! AAAAAGH!" He cried as Weiss and Dimitri's fellow leaders, plus Byleth and Sothis, gasped in shock as Dimitri was pushed down.
"Now you're half the man you used to be! Nyahahahaha!"
Later, after Cackletta's defeat…
"How's your eye?" Weiss asked.
"It's just a scratch… I'm sure it will heal up." He said, having a cloth around his eye.
"I dunno… that didn't look like a simple scratch. I saw blood and everything." Sothis said.
"Hmm… perhaps it's more severe than I thought." Dimitri mumbled before turning back to a concerned Weiss. "Perhaps after I get this looked at, do you… want to get some coffee together?"
Weiss smiled. "I would love to."
"...Well, how about that." Yang chuckled.
Later that evening…
"Well, hey, look at the bright side. It could be a lot worse." Ashe said.
"That's true." Dimitri nodded.
"Are you kidding? You almost got killed by that… thing! You're lucky it was just your eye!" Ingrid said with a sigh. "Still, glad you're okay."
"The eyepatch makes him look more like a warrior." Felix chuckled.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I mustn't keep Weiss waiting." Dimitri said as he walked off.
Once he got to the Mushroom Kingdom, he looked around for Weiss. He would see Luminary wander nearby. "Excuse me, Luminary!" Dimitri approached.
"Hmm? Oh, hello Dimitri. …Ooooh, your eye's a little-"
"It's fine. Nothing to worry about." Dimitri waved it off. "Have you seen Weiss around?"
"Ah, right… Weiss… I hate to say it, but she was kidnapped."
"Kidnapped?!" Dimitri put his hands on Luminary's shoulders. "Who kidnapped her?" He asked in a low voice that slowly intimidated him.
"Um… all I know is that she was taken to Atlas forcefully. I don't know who kidnapped her but all I know is that RBY, MAJC, Nyx and Futaba went out to get her out of there."
Dimitri growled as he turned around. "That is not good… I'll do what I can to aid in-"
"Hey!" A Toad approached them. "Have you guys heard? Something blew up in Atlas!"
"What?" Dimitri asked.
"Yeah, some mansion called the SDC or somethin'."
"SDC… that's the Schnee Manor if I recall-" Luminary froze, seeing a dark aura surrounding Dimitri.
"If those kidnappers blew Weiss up…"
"Actually, last I've heard was that Jacques Schnee was arrested and everyone's coming back home."
Dimitri relaxed. "Oh… that is a relief. I'm not exactly sure what came over me."
You weren't like this in the Beanbean Kingdom as far as I know… Luminary thought.
He smiled right after. "It is good to know that Weiss is okay."
Later, when the Shroobs are holding Peach hostage…
"So, what are you gonna do after the Schnee Dust Company blew up and your father is now in jail?" Neptune asked.
"Well, I'm not old enough to take over, so the board of directors will be taking care of things. But I suppose that, sooner or later, I'll have to take over the company as the heiress, when I'm proper age at least. Considering what my father had done, I'd have to clean up his mess and make the SDC more… better than what it was earlier."
"Ah, clean up his mess? That's no easy feat."
"Of course it isn't, but it is what it is, I guess. It'll be a lot of work, but I'm not going to do it alone. I'll have help."
"Your teammates?"
"Yes, along with several others who'll help me get things to the way it is." Weiss explained. "Now I have a question for you."
"What is it?"
"Why do you flirt with me so much?"
Neptune frowned. "Ah, well, the thing is… I just want someone to talk to, ya know?"
Weiss raised an eyebrow. "Okay…? Then why not your team? Or… Leone for that matter?"
"Ahehehe… well, uh… the thing is with Leone, she's kinda intimidating a bit. My teammates are in their own world… and well, truth is, you're a better conversationalist."
Weiss sighed. "There has got to be another rea-"
"OkayI'mSelfConsciousAboutAFewThingsAndIReallyLikeYouAndWouldYouHelpMeWithMyFearOfWater?" He asked really fast.
"Whoa whoa whoa, slow down! What was that?"
Neptune sighed. "I'm… self conscious about a few things, especially when it comes with water and I was wondering if you'd help me out with my fear of water and… I really like you."
Weiss blushed. "Neptune…"
"So, do you think that, once this Shroob thing is over with, do you… want to go out with me?"
"Oh, Neptune… I'd love to-"
Neptune smiled.
"-But… I've… got my sights set on someone else."
Neptune slumped. "Oh… is he cute? Or… she, if you're into that?"
"No, it's a guy. He… well… how do I explain this-"
Yang walked by. "She's interested in a guy named Dimitri."
"YANG!" Weiss glared.
"That blonde dude with the eyepatch? …Aw man, it's the muscles, isn't it?"
"What? No no no, it's different! He's just… really… cool and really… sweet. We actually went on a date yesterday and-"
Weiss sighed. "I'm sorry if I'm sounding awkward. I just… don't know what to say."
"No no, it's cool." Neptune smiled. "Don't worry about it. I'm… sure there's someone out there who'll like a guy like me."
"Yeah, I'm sure there's someone out there."
"...Soooo, you gonna help me out with that water thing or-"
"Oh! I think there's a community swimming pool somewhere in Toad Town, you can take swimming lessons there if you want."
"Ah! Okay, cool! …Let's just hope the Shroobs don't blow it up!" Neptune laughed, causing Weiss to giggle with him.
"I'm… sorry about this, Neptune."
"Aaaah, don't sweat it. Had to take a shot eventually."
Later, after the universal reset…
"Looks like you did a number on your ankle." Dimitri said, gently kneeling down and looking at it. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I should be okay. It's a bit tender and a little sore. Ugh, I really should've rested when I twisted it."
Dimitri pulled out a marker. "May I?"
"Uh… sure."
Dimitri started to write something down. "I've heard about this interesting custom that people tend to write messages on people's casts. I've no idea why they do this, but it seems cute." He said, putting the lid back on the marker.
"To the girl I am smitten with: Feel better! - Dimitri"
Weiss looked up. "It's beautiful."
"Is it? The texture on this cast was a bit cumbersome to write on." He admitted before chuckling. "But if you insist-"
"Wait a moment. Did you get a new eye?"
"Oh, this? Yeah, those science engineers created a cybernetic eye for me. I have to say, I'm getting a bit readjusted with having two eyes once again."
"That's fair." Weiss giggled.
"Would you like to go get coffee? Something to get your mind off of this wheelchair and your ankle?"
"Absolutely!" Weiss smiled as Dimitri pushed Weiss away, both of them chatting as Byleth looked on with a smile.
"Those two are so cute together." She giggled.
Later, during their visit at the Crown Tundra…
"You feeling okay, dude?" Sun asked as he approached Dimitri.
"I should be happy that Weiss is better now, yet I can't shake the feeling something is about to happen to her."
"Aaaah… I'm sure it's fine. It's Weiss, she can handle herself."
"I sure hope you're right." Dimitri said as he looked out the window to see Absol nearby. The Absol locked eyes with Dimitri before taking off. A pit grew in Dimitri's stomach as he quickly grabbed Areadbhar and ran out the door, unaware of Azure getting agitated as he flew off as well.
Dimitri ran through the snow, picking up the pace… when all of a sudden, he heard a gunshot ringing through the air. His pupil's shrunk a bit in horror… before they were replaced with anger as he picked up the pace.
His feet crushed the snow with enough force to startle an Alolan Sandshrew.
At the site…
"Weiss? Weiss! Stay with me!" Blake cradled Weiss in her arms after Seryu had shot her and Adam clawed her down. Seryu was too busy laughing psychotically.
"You… YOU BASTARD!" Blake screamed at Adam.
Adam folded his arms. "This wouldn't have happened if you had just stayed put. Again, you should have killed me when you had the chance, but you didn't. Now you have blood on your hands. You helped create the Crimson Fang. YOU were the one who caused your friend's life to abruptly near its end."
"You… I'LL KILL YOU!"
"Just like you killed Weiss?"
Blake growled with angry tears as Seryu giggled sadistically.
"Again, I respect your decision for leaving, but… your choice has a major consequence, and that is holding your friend in your arms. Your friend was our target, but if you continue to be with her, we will not hesitate to-"
SHIIIIIINK!
Areadbhar went straight through Adam's spinal cord and came out of Adam's abdomen. "Graaagh!"
"Huh?!" Seryu looked on in shock.
"I thank you for telling me everything I needed to hear…"
BGM: Rage of Sparta (God of War III)
Blake looked on in surprise to see it was coming from Dimitri, as blood dripped from the sharp end of Areadbhar. She also saw an animalistic look in Dimitri's eyes. It was enough to frighten her. In fact, Seryu was intimidated by this blonde intruder.
"I heard everything, you sick twisted demon. You ought to rot in HELL for what you've done!" He said, pulling Areadbhar out and kicking Adam to the ground.
From Seryu's point of view, she whimpered as she aimed her gun at Dimitri with her arm trembling. Dimitri slowly turned to face Seryu and stalked over to her. She screamed and fired a bullet, but with her arm trembling, she barely nicked his shoulder.
Dimitri said nothing as he raised Areadbhar.
"NO!" Seryu screamed as Dimitri swung it swiftly as blood sprayed out of her neck and splashed over Dimitri's face. Seryu's vision completely blurred almost instantly and fell to the ground. The last thing she saw before everything went dark was the snow turning crimson red.
"Uuuungh…" Adam grunted. "Se-Seryu…"
Dimitri turned his head. "You still breathe? Let's see how well you breathe without your head connecting to your neck!"
Blake was too terrified to even say anything as the Absol came over as did Azure.
Dimitri shoved Areadbhar through Adam's skull and then put his hands over his neck and violently pulled it off. He then pulled Areadbhar out of the skull and proceeded to crush the head with one hand until it was nothing but paste, splattering more blood on him.

Dimitri's animalistic eyes vanished almost immediately, shaking his head and rubbing his head as he noticed he was covered in blood, where he proceeded to wash the blood off of him with snow… yet he could only manage to get the blood off of his face, but not his clothing.
"Mmm, definitely gonna need Mercie's help with this…" He mumbled as he turned around to see Calyrex healing Weiss. "Is she alright?"
"She will be. She just needs some rest." Calyrex said as Dimitri picked her up bridal style and headed back to the village, though Azure insisted that he give them a ride, to which he accepted and flew off.
Calyrex turned to Blake. "Are you alright, Blake?"
"I… I'm not sure… I should be grateful that Adam and Seryu aren't an issue anymore, but… part of me just… feels bad. Is that wrong, given how Adam swerved down a dark path that turned him evil?"
"Hmm… I cannot say for sure." Calyrex turned to Seryu. "This one, however… I feel like she deserved better but was caught up with the wrong crowd." He said as he went over and gently closed Seryu's eyes. "May this soul rest in peace."
"Sol…" The Absol nodded.
Later…
"Mmm…" Weiss opened her eyes as she looked around. "Uuungh…"
"Oh thank the gods…"
Weiss looked to see Dimitri by her bedside. "Dimitri!" She said in surprise, blushing a bit. "How long were you-"
"Long enough."
Weiss smiled. "Sorry you have to see me like this-" She noticed the blood splatter on his clothes. "Is that-...?"
"It is… I might have… lost myself and slaughtered the duo that were about to kill you."
Weiss frowned. "Even Seryu? …I don't know why, but… I feel like she deserved better."
"Perhaps…" Dimitri nodded solemnly.
"Whatever… what's done is done." Weiss said as she looked at Dimitri with a soft smile. "Thank you for saving me from Adam."
"You're welcome. The moment I heard the gunshot… I was worried something had happened to the woman I lo-" He paused, blushing as did Weiss.
BGM: Rejoice in Love (Fire Emblem Fates)
"You actually admitted it…"
Dimitri blushed. "There are days where I can't stop thinking about you. Even when we hung around and went on a few dates, I've grown smitten."
"To be honest, the moment we locked eyes, I felt… something. Cliche, I know… but it's like… there are days where I couldn't stop thinking about you either."
Dimitri took her hand. "When I heard you were kidnapped, I lost myself in anger and was ready to slaughter anyone who took you, but imagine my relief when you came back safe and sound. How did you get out anyway?"
"Oh, I just… extracted myself. I was unaware of a rescue party until I heard Futaba freaking out in an igloo."
Dimitri chuckled. "Brilliant. You were able to escape unharmed."
"Yeah. It was kinda funny, honestly." Weiss giggled.
"Weiss… from the day we've met and me taking care of you when you were wheelchair bound…"
"You don't have to say anything else…" Weiss smiled, locking eyes with him as they both leaned forward, closing their eyes and shared their first kiss.
"Pay up." Blake gave Sun a teasing smile.
"What? No, I'm pretty sure it was you who didn't have faith they'd get together."
"Are you sure about that?" Blake chuckled as Sun sighed before kissing her on the cheek.
"Consider that payment."
Blake rolled her eyes playfully. "You dork."
At that moment, Dimitri pulled away and looked into her eyes. "I love you."
"I love you too."
"...Mind if I barge in?" Blake spoke up.
"Oh! Of course." Dimitri nodded as he pulled away and traded places with Blake.

"My man!" Sun grinned, fist bumping Dimitri.
Dimitri smiled. "So, how's Neptune?"
"Neptune? Ah, he finally found the courage to ask a girl out."
"Oh, who's the lucky lady?"
With Neptune…
"I have to say, you're not as bad as I thought you were."
Leone laughed. "I do tend to be quite intimidating, but I'm not bad~" She giggled, armlocked with him as Neptune turned his head and gave the thumbs up where Sage and Scarlet peered out of a bush with two thumbs up of approval.
Back with them…
"Your sister?"
"Yeah, it surprised me too but they're rather sweet together! Heck, I heard Sage and Scarlet are spying on them to see if Neptune really had the guts."
"And you're okay with this?"
"Hey, if Leone's happy, then why should I worry?"
"Fair enough." Dimitri nodded.
Later, at Garreg Mach (And where Yang became under the weather instead of Weiss)
The Flame Emperor grunted after their battle with Byleth. "You think you've won, but you-"
Joker pounced on the Flame Emperor from behind. "Got ya!"
"Mmmph! What…?!"
"Show me your true form!" He commanded, pulling the mask off and jumping away, but his eyes widened the moment he did.
"Edelgard?!" The Eisner twins exclaimed in surprise.
"That's unexpected!" Joker said, tossing the helmet away as everyone turned to look at Edelgard, the helmet landing near Dimitri.
"Is that…?" Weiss wondered.
"What the heck is she doing?!" Ruby asked.
"Is… is this for real?! Am I seeing things?!" Ryuji wondered in shock.
"No… we're all seeing it…" Queen said gravely.
"Well, that would explain her disappearing acts…" Claude mused.
"Um… guys!" Annette called their attention. "Dimitri… he's…!"
"Hmm… hmhmhmhmhm…" He looked up and laughed crazily with a wild look in his eyes. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Dimitri…?" Weiss and Marianne asked with concern.
"IS THIS SOME KIND OF TWISTED JOKE?!" He yelled as he pulled out Areadbhar and slowly approached Edelgard, crushing the helmet with only a single step of his foot. Dedue, Claude and Ingrid tried to grab on to him, but he brushed them aside. "I've been looking for you… I will take that head from your shoulders… AND HANG IT FROM THE GATES OF ENBARR!"
He lunged with a twisted smirk, batting away Byleth like she was nothing as he charged through, as Weiss put her hands over her mouth, her eyes widening at the soldiers he was currently slaughtering.
"I've seen that look in his eyes when he was slaughtering Adam and Seryu…" Blake's voice echoed in her head.
"What was it like?"
"I don't how to describe it, but… when I looked into those eyes, I saw a completely different person. It wasn't Dimitri, that's for sure… I'd be careful around him, Weiss. I feel like he's s a ticking time bomb…"
"Dimitri…" Weiss whispered before clenching her fists. "DIMITRI!" She shrieked right as he snapped a soldier's neck, already covered in blood.
"Mmmph!" Dimitri snapped out of it, clutching his head as he turned his head to see Weiss. "Weiss…?"
Edelgard slowly relaxed. "Dimitri… there's a logical-"
She flinched the moment Dimitri turned his gaze back to her, the same animalistic eyes from before.
"I don't recall giving you permission to speak! Answer my question. That is all you have to do. Flame Emperor… no… Edelgard… Tell me now, why did you cause such a tragedy?"
Edelgard said nothing, struggling to find her words while Sothis slowly got up from her seat. "You killed your own mother, and yet you haven't had the decency to stop and consider the reasons behind your actions! HAVE YOU?!"
"I already told you, I had nothing to do with that!"
"Ha! It was foolish to think I could reason with such a lowly beast."
Ruby lightly elbowed Weiss. "Soooo, you gonna control your boyfriend or…?"
"I… I'm not sure if I-"
"He almost killed Edelgard if you didn't yell at him! There's something about you that calms him… I don't know why, but it's something I've learned."
"And when did you learn that?"
"Oh, all the times I've seen you two together. I've heard tales of him being a "boar" in battle, but when he's with you, he's calm, civilized, a gentleman… heck, he took care of you when you were in that wheelchair."
"I know, but-"
"Listen to me, Weiss." Ruby put her hands on her shoulders. "You're probably the only person who can talk some sense into Dimitri. You can calm him down. I'm sure Edelgard has her reasons. So you go and hug your boy before he hurts someone or himself."
"...Out of everything I've heard from you, I was… not expecting this."
Ruby smiled. "I'm still full of surprises." She then turned around. "Alright, now let's go and- HUUUUUH?!"
She looked around all over the place.
"Where the heck did Sothis and Edelgard go?!"
Later, after Thales destroyed a good portion of Garreg Mach…
Weiss took a deep breath. "Okay… just talk to him… you got this." She whispered to herself as she walked to where Dimitri was at, and noticed Alm walking out.
"Alm? Were you talking to him just now?"
"Yeah… I think I got through to him, but I'm not sure." Alm said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Good luck…"
Weiss grimaced as they parted ways before she walked into the classroom, seeing Dimitri grumbling to himself.
"H-hey… are you… feeling okay?"
Dimitri turned to see her, his frown disappearing as he gave her a warm smile. In fact, he looked more relaxed just seeing her.
"Weiss… I'm so glad you've come." He said as Weiss walked up to him, sitting next to him at a desk.
"Are you… feeling okay, by any chance?"
"I'm honestly conflicted. Edelgard and I are step siblings… and to find out that she was the one in charge of the Fall of Duscur…"
"So this is a family issue?"
"Unfortunately, yes… I will admit, it's… hit me harder than it should have-"
"I think anyone would react poorly… though, probably not in a murderous rampage."
"Fair point… I'm… not sure what to do."
Weiss gave him a soft smile. "We can figure that out together. We can work it out and… probably listen to Edelgard's side."
"I… hope I can…" Dimitri muttered. "Weiss, I want you to do something for me."
"What is it?"
"If I ever get to the point of how I acted in the tomb… I want you to hold me back as hard as you can. Even if it's someone who's deserving of it."
"Are… you sure? You're a lot stronger than you look."
"I just want you to hold me back as hard as humanly possible. I don't want to do something I'd regret."
Weiss said nothing, but instead she planted a kiss on his cheek. "I'll try everything I can."
Dimitri smiled. "Thank you… Weiss." He said as they both leaned in to share a kiss.
"HEY PHANTOM THIEVES! EDELGARD IS HERE!" Ryuji called out.
"...What?!" Dimitri immediately started running, accidentally knocking Weiss down.
"Ooof!" Weiss grunted as she shook it off. "Dimitri, WAIT!"
She took off running, dodging the debris along the way as she ran after him, hoping Dimitri wasn't about to do something stupid.
Once she rounded the corner…
"Dimitri…" Edelgard looked at him sadly. "Let me explain-"
"NO! You have some nerve showing your face here… everything is destroyed because of you! Now that you're here, you've made it all the easier for me to HUNT YOU DOWN AND HAVE YOUR HEAD AS A TROPHY!"
"Oh no…" Weiss whispered.
"How I waited for this moment…" He brandished Areadbhar and tuned out Dedue and Ingrid's pleas. "DIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!"
In a quick second, Weiss quickly put up a Gravity Glyph between the two, as she immediately jumped in and wrapped her arms around him, burying her head against his back.
"Don't do this… please…"
"Weiss… let go of me…"
"No! I'm not going to let you hurt her…" Weiss tightened her grip, even using her semblance to cast some more Gravity glyphs around his joints. "Please… calm down… this isn't you." She said in a calming voice, trying to hold back her tears.
"Nnngh… rrrrgh…!" Dimitri struggled.
"Mirror~ Tell me something~"
Dimitri's eyes widened, slowly feeling himself relax.
"Tell me who's the loneliest of all~"
Dimitri dropped Areadbhar as he stood up straight.
"Weiss… thank you…" He said as Weiss released the gravity glyphs but still held him… although Chrom was still on standby ready to punch the daylights out of him if need be, with Lucina and Frederick holding him back.
Edelgard relaxed. "Now… I'll tell you everything you need to know."
Much later, after Nemesis had been beaten and Byleth recovered in the hospital…
"I have to thank you again for saving me from going down a dark path." Dimitri said as he walked through Mushroom Hills with Weiss.
"You're welcome."
"I'm proud to have you as my girlfriend. You… complete me, my love."
"That's a little cheesy."
"What? That was from the bottom of the heart!"
Weiss laughed. "I'm just teasing!" She giggled as Dimitri laughed with her, before wrapping his arms around her waist and pulled her close.
"Weiss, I have something to ask of you."
"What is it?"
"When you graduate from Beacon… will you have the honor of… becoming my bride?"
Weiss blushed a deep red. "That's… a few years from now!"
"...Was that too soon? Apologies if-"
"But yes, I will marry you… a few years from now."
Dimitri chuckled. "Then it's settled." He said as they both closed their eyes and shared a kiss.
"Well, that ended sweetly! …But hold on, if Seryu died and didn't assassinate Jacques, that means Jacques is still alive! We can't end it like that!"
A few days later, at the Mushroom City Prison…
"Hey, congratulations to your daughter!" A prisoner walked past Jacques.
"Hmm? What for?" Jacques wondered.
"As if you didn't know! Your daughter is getting married!"
"Winter? Hmm, well, good for her-"
"Not her! The other one!" The prisoner showed him the front page of the newspaper.
DIMITRI ALEXANDRE BLAIDDYD AND WEISS SCHNEE BETROTHED. WEDDING WILL TAKE PLACE FOLLOWING SCHNEE'S GRADUATION. SDC TO BE RELOCATED TO FAERGHUS. WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH FAUNUS AND REMNANT RELATIONS
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Jacques yelled, his face boiling hot. "THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! HOW DARE MY DAUGHTER MARRY AN OUTWORLDER! HE DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE ROYALTY, LET ALONE NOBILITY. WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE, I WILL MAKE SURE THIS DIMITRI WILL RECEIVE HELL. HE WILL KNOW MY WRATH! HE WILL-"
He clutched his heart. "Nnngh…! He… will… he… will…!"
He collapsed immediately as some curious prisoners checked his pulse.
"...Dude. He just died." A Toad said.
Outside on a rooftop, Maki had just gotten into position with a sniper rifle. "...Wait… did he just suffer a heart attack just like that?"
"Muuuuuuch better! See you next time!"
Definitely feeling much better compared to a few days ago! And this What If idea was... I believe Jacob's? This one was an older idea... it's been a hot minute.

Anyway, I've also been playing Indigo Disk and so far, I've beaten Crispin and Amarys and slowly making my way to Lacey now buuuut... *looks at Kieran* ...What did we DO to this kid? We made the poor kid go straight into a villain arc... Joker smile and all! And I'm not sure how y'all feel about Carmine but, for me, I hated her at first, but midway through Teal Mask, I've started to grow fond of her. She's one of my favorites of the DLC!
