Sitting on the couch in the club room was a red headed beauty playing a game of chess with her best friend, a bespectacled beauty with a bob cut hairstyle. Rias gremory and sona sitri were discussing what they had seen over the past couple days to keep each other in the loop of knowledge, given that they both have equal hold over kuoh.
" so rias why did you want to have the talk so early? Last time i checked we weren't supposed to have this talk for another two days, and don't say that it is just to talk. I know you, there is something you want to tell me and it is urgent." said sona will move her chess pieces.
" You know me so well sona. I guess the best thing to do is to tell you right from the start. We found a stray devil last night." said rias.
" and what is so special about that? We find stray devils all the time." said sona
" He was already dead by the time we got there." said Rias, causing sona to pause for a second.
"So I take it you know me and my peerage weren't the ones to deal with it." said sona going back to playing chess.
" Yes I could tell it wasn't you or your peerage given that I would have felt your magic there and the stray was taken out in a different way then you deal with strays." said Rias moving her chess piece.
" Then do you know who dealt with the stray?" asked sona.
"Unfortunately not, but they used a sword to kill the stray. Mainly from a stab to the chest but they also cut off a wing and one of the arms of the stray. We also know that this person may possess sacred gear given that we couldn't sense any other supernatural there and the only reason for a human to kill a stray is with a lot of skill or a sacred gear, and from kiba's point of view the swordsmen ship is that of a novice. But the most interesting part of this is that koneko got a scent from the blood left at the site, and it smelled like a dragon." said rias.
" So there is a possible dragon type sacred gear user that has awakened their sacred gear. What are you trying to do with this person?" asked sona looking at rias.
"Yes, and what do you mean to do with them? I simply want to ask them some questions." said rias.
" Rias, I know you and I know your problem. If this person has a dragon type sacred gear they could be someone to help you and you know this. You will probably try and recruit them into your peerage." said sona moving her rook to block rias queen.
" Ok I might be a little interested in the person, but for now I just want to talk to them," said rias.
The two friends continued to talk and play until they both felt a burst of energy. Looking in the direction of the energy, they looked at each other and agreed that Rias will go there first given that her peerage might be small but they are all very powerful for their age.
Present time cave
Standing outside the cave, rias and her peerage could feel the energy coming from the entrance. Koneko walked to the entrance of the cave and immediately got a sense of the place.
"Buchou this place smells of death." said koneko.
Rias had a serious face on knowing that something happened in this cave. With a deep breath, Rias walked into the cave with the rest of her peerage behind her. Walking through the cave the group could smell the scent of blood. Getting to an opening they all see a dead wolf laying on the ground.
Walking over to the wolf, kiba looked at the stab wounds on the wolf and was both interested and confused at the same time. " buchou from the looks of these wounds, one was caused by the same blade used on the stray, but it also seems our mystery person has a second blade. Because these wounds were caused by a different kind of blade." said kiba.
Knowing that the stranger was in this cave, Rias was somewhat excited because she could finally talk to the stranger. Continuing into the cave they all kept walking in passing the dead wolves. Koneko took an extra second to look at the wolves with what looked like disgust. Going deeper in they weren't expecting to see five more dead wolves.
They all went to look at the different wolves to see if they could find anything. Each one of them went to a different wolf with kiba going to the two closest to each other, one having a big laceration in its side and the other being stabbed in the head seeing the stab and cut wounds. Koneko was looking at a wolf that was stabbed and she just didn't seem to be interested. Rias was looking at a wolf that was disemboweled and was a little grossed out by the gore. Akeno saw a wolf that was decapitated and she could sense something coming from the wolf, putting her hand out she felt the static electricity jump to her hand and she could feel the magic in it, feeling that it was similar to her magic but also getting a weird feeling from it.
After talking about what they found except for akeno who just said it was beheaded, not telling Rias about the magic she felt. Walking to the end of the cave the group was 100% sure that this mystery person they are after is a sacred gear user because no normal human can kill two massive wolves and especially a werewolf. Kiba was more interested in the remains of a blade on the ground, seeing that it was a Roman gladius being a little sad to see such a nice weapon destroyed.
"buchou , it seems that the mystery person is down a weapon, and it happens to be the same one he used on the stray. My guess is that the werewolf shattered it with its claws." said kiba.
"That would explain why these wolves and the werewolf were killed without weapons, given that this one was slammed into the ground multiple times and this one had its neck snapped." siad akeno looking at the wolves.
" Yes, this person is very strong, being able to snap the neck of a giant wolf and werewolf and pick up and slam the same wolf into the ground." said Rias, who at this point really wanted the person in her peerage and wanted to see what this person is capable of.
'Looks like I will need to talk to Sona, and have to agree with her that I want the mystery person.' thought rias getting rid of the werewolf body so no one would know, and made a magic circle to leave the cave with her peerage.
Back with issei at his house
After getting back home and eating dinner, issei cleaned himself up and went to his room to look over his needed items and points. Sitting in his chair, Issei opens his stat window to see his stats and stat points.

Looking at his stat issei realized that out of everything he has, his intelligence stat is not the best and his mana is very low in comparison to his health. So even though his gamer instincts tell him to save his stat points, issei needs to have more mana. Adding all 19 points to his int stat, issei could feel his mental strength increase and could feel the increase in mana. Once he was done he opened his inventory to pull out the skill book.

Selecting yes, issei saw the book turn into light and absorb into him. Feeling the bestial nature of the skill book activate in him, he looked at the new window that had opened and he was happy seeing what was on it.
By absorbing the skill book you have increased the amount of skill points you earn each level from 1 to 3. You have increased your skill tree to include the bestial skill tree.

Seeing his skill trees, Issei was excited to see what his new skills would let him do and to see if he could get some new skills. Looking over the new stages of skills which cost two skill points and the bestial skills, issei was happy. Looking at the skills and how much they can help him, issei looked at his options and started thinking about his choices, until he made a choice.
Making his choices, issei picked stealth, perception, bestial instinct, and bestial features. After picking his choices the window opened up to show him the new skills he had in his skill window.
Skills:
Stealth (lv.1): when used it makes you invisible and silences your footsteps. 20 mana per cast 5 per minute.
Perception (lv.1): when used it makes your eyesight better and you can see the flow of mana and the mana coming off of people. 10 mana per cast 5 per minute.
Bestial instinct passive( ): you have better senses then most, being able to hear better, see better, your sense of touch is increased, you have a keen sense of smell, and your reflexes are far beyond that of others.
Bestial features(lv.1): when used you can grow animal features and boost your natural senses and can have fangs and claws. 15 mana per cast 10 per minute.
Happy with his choices, Issei closed the window and went back to his inventory to see the air magic grimoire and when he picked the grimoire the system didn't even have a chance to give him the message to accept the grimoire. With the grimoire dissolving into his body, issei saw the new window pop up to show the information he got. Seeing that in his magic window was an air magic grimoire tab and there were spells he could learn.
Air magic grimoire used. You can control the very air and wind itself. You can learn spells by using the magic and gaining experience to spend on the spells. You can learn 1 spell from the start. You have access to tier 1 and tier 2 air magic.
Air magic:
Tier 1: wind gust, wind blade, air dash, air burst
Tier 2: air vortex, air bullet, wind bolt, wind dome
Reading the information on the window and looking at the spells that come with the new tab, issei excited to get a new spell and extend his arsenal. Looking over the spells issei saw some close and far ranged spells and some support and defense spells, the problem was that issei didn't know what spell would help him the most now and in the future. After looking over the options and looking at his current problems issei knew he needed a ranged option, and after thinking that he would eventually have to deal with more intelligent enemies in the future, so issei would pick the spell that he could use to trick someone or disguise as something else.
Air magic: wind blade (lv.1): with your hand or weapon, make a horizontal or vertical slash sending a blade of wind at your target. 10 mana per cast.
Closing his magic window issei was finally able to look at the things he wanted to see, the rune stones. Pulling out the three rune stones and to say issei was excited to see what he got out of them would be an understatement. Once issei held the rune stones he got a window that told him to crush the rune stones to gain the skill. Once issei had all three out he set them down on his bed and looked at them thinking of which one to crush first. After a little time issei picked the omega rune stone and crushed it.
Skill gained: nightmare howl (lv.1): when used you will howl like a wolf and anyone that hears it that you choose will have vivid nightmares that get more and more real as this skill levels.
Seeing the new skill issei was happy and scared at the same time, because giving someone vivid nightmares in real life when they are not asleep like an illusion was terrifying and the fact it got stronger and more scary as i use it. Issei was starting to feel that he might be seen as evil but then he remembered that he could choose who got the nightmare. Grabbing the next two rune stones crushed them to see what he got.
Skills gained: call the pack (lv.1): when used you howl out and summon a bestial companine to fight with you. 50 mana per cast.
Aspect of the wolf (lv.1): when used you call a pawn the spirit of the wolf and can manifest spectral werewolf add ons. You can choose to do one of three. Claw causing a claw to appear on the arm and disappear after one attack, head causing a werewolf head to appear around the user's head and bite down, and roar causing a large sound wave to come from the user and define anyone that is hit by it.
After seeing the first skill issei was really excited given that with the skill and his armor he could have summons that can fight with him, and the other skill was just great to have. Closing the window issei almost forgot he had more to look at with his upgrade tree for his players world. Before closing his inventory issei looked at the dungeon key he got and when held he got the information that it was to a dungeon that has no name or that cant be read till he gets a higher level. Looking at the fangs and pelts and issei didn't know what to do with them until he saw he could sell them in which he sold them for a total of 1000 gold. Opening his upgrad window issei saw that it had expanded to where he could see more.

Seeing the new upgrades issei was ready to read what they could do but he also already knew he was getting certain upgrades. He looked at the points he had and he saw he had eleven upgrade points to use, meaning that he had options to choose from and that he would be adding a lot to his arsenal, and abilities. Once he had looked through the skills, Issei had made his choices.
Skills:
Advanced learning passive( ): increase exp gain from all sources.
Crafting kit ( ): gives you access to the crafting menu.
Sixth sense passive ( ): gives you the ability to sense the mana and other energy's in the area around you.
Critical strike (lv.1): when used you deal an additional 20% damage and increase your chance of hitting a critical zone on your enemy's body. 20 mana per use.
Players hand (lv.1): you use mana to make an invisible hand to grab onto items and others with your strength. 10 mana per use.
Once the upgrades were done, Issei wanted to try some of them out to get a feeling for them and to look at his crafting window. Before he could try out his players hand issei got a weird feeling like he could sense everything but nothing at the same time. He could sense his parents down stairs, the birds on the roof and even the spider in the corner of his room. Issei could sense the flow of energy in the air and Issei could feel the flow of his own energy.
Getting used to his new sensations issei took a second to get back to a normal state. Getting back to normal issei tried using his players hand and to his surprise it was easier than he thought. When he used it it felt like having a third hand and he grabbed a can on his desk and brought it to his hand. ' ok that's cool and it's not like i only have a little amount of time, i just have to activate it.' thought issei, practicing with the skill. Looking at his clock issei saw it was getting late so he quickly looked at his crafting window and saw his wing leather and didn't see much more, looking at the leather it selected it and it said that it needed a minimum of two items to craft something, being very disappointed that he sold his fangs and pelts. Being done with the window he closed everything and went to bed to get ready for the next day.
Somewhere outside of kuoh
A black hair girl is running from a group of people with torches and swords. Running through the dark night forest, the girl was avoiding the group of people and the trees that she was having to avoid as well. She was gaining distance from her attackers until she made it to a hill where she tripped and fell down the steep hill landing in a pile of leaves passing out with a pair of rings in her hand.
The group of people chasing the girl made it to the top of the hill and could see the bottle and they didn't want to go down the steep hill, but they wanted the girl and what she had taken from them. " sir, it is too steep, she most likely broke her back on a tree or bashed her head on a rock. She is dead." said one of the people holding a torch.
Next morning
Issei was sweating as he was running in the morning for his daily quest, he had woken up to see the window pop up telling him that the daily quest had reset and was ready to be completed. Getting out of bed issei started doing his push ups and his sit ups in his run to knock them out and so he could start to get into a routine so that he wouldn't forget to do the daily quest because he didn't want the penalty to ever happen.
On his run issei thought it would be a good idea to try out some of his other abilities, but he needed a place to try them out and not have people thinking he is some kinda monster or wizard. So to finish his run issei made his way to the woods he was in the other day when he went to the cave to try out some of his new abilities.
Arriving in the forest, Issei heard the sound of his daily quest being complete, but before opening it, Issei took a big drink from the water that he had brought with him, finishing it off in a couple sips. Once he was done with it, he used to observe it to level it up like he has been doing since he woke up that morning. He also finally opened his daily quest window to get his rewards.

Looking at the dungeon key issei saw it was for a new dungeon that he could go to with the name, dealer floor. Not getting much more from looking at the key issei pulled out the silver ring thinking it was something unique or something but after observing it he learned it was just a silver ring. Putting the ring away, Issei started thinking of which new ability to try first. Not having to wait long issei had an idea to see if he could use both of his summoning abilities at the same time or if he could only have one at a time. First using the call of the pack but instead of having a spirit like creature, issei was given a window that showed a couple different creatures saying that he could choose a creature to summon from this list and only one from this level. Going simple with a wolf, issei felt the skill fully activated and he felt the urge to howl and once he did sound like a wolf howling, a normal looking wolf appeared but there were some differences. One being that it was the size of the blue omega and another being that its fangs and claws looked like razor blades.
'It looks and feels like a normal wolf, but I have the feeling that it is an extension of me but at the same time it is like a pet.' thought issei petting the wolf that had nudged him in the side after being summoned. Once he was done petting the wolf, Issei activated the skill of his armor calling forth a shadow ally by saying the command word. "Arise" saying the word issei saw his shadow moved before a shadow in the shape of a medieval knight appeared in front of him kneeling to him. Looking to his side, Issei saw that the wolf was still there and that there was no sign of him disappearing. 'Sweet, I can have both of them out at the same time.' thought issei as he got ready to do some more tests with them.
After some time issei had learned a couple things about his two summons. When it came to the wolf it acted like a normal wolf but it could listen to issei and do what he said, the knight could do the same but the knight could make no sound like talking but the wolf could make normal wolf-like noises. Issei also learned that unlike his spells and other skills he doesn't have to keep pumping mana out to keep them there they stay till they are dismissed. Both were stronger then the normal human and wolf but not to an extreme scale. Will testing them issei also used his perception skill to see the mana in them and he could also see the line of mana from him to them and vise versa.
Wanting to train and practice more issei asked the knight to fight him will he used his bestial features skill to grow claws. As issei was fighting the knight he knew that the knights swordsmen ship was much better than his and that once he had made a strike on the knight it immediately healed but issei could feel his mana go down. Deactivating the skill and his hands going back to normal, issei wanted to try one more thing. Activating aspect of the wolf issei sent the skill to his hand and a spectral claw appeared around his arm and with one slash the claws went right through the tree and caused it to fall down.
Once issei was done trying out his new skills he was ready to head back home and so he was about to deactivate his two summons until his wolf caught a sent and went after it with the knight going with him and issei just looked to see them running getting the feeling that he might need to follow. Following his summons issei was surprised to know that he could tell exactly where they were without actually trying. Finally arriving at the area his summons were at issei was surprised to see his knight holding a black haired girl covered in cuts and leaves in his arms. Quickly making his way to the girl and knight, Issei checked to see if she was ok.
After checking on her, issei learned that she was just unconscious and that she was still breathing and from his quick search of her she didn't have any outstanding injuries he could see. Once issei was sure the girl was ok he started thinking of what to do when he got the idea to use his skill on her to learn her name to find her family or help. Activating observation on the girl issei was surprising.

Info: a fallen angel who is a part of the grigori and is one of the few pure blooded fallen angels born with their black wings. She is a young angel and she seems to have been left in the woods overnight. She has the ability to hide and show her wings and to use light magic.

'She's a fallen angel. What the hell is a fallen angel and damn her level is so high' thought issei as he was trying to make sense of what he was seeing. This was the first time that issei had seen a fallen angel but one thing that was confusing him is that he couldn't see her wings, guessing that she was hiding them. After getting over the fact that a fallen angel of great beauty passed out in the arms of his shadow knight and that she is way more powerful than him.
After taking some time to think, issei made the choice to help the girl. Telling the knight to hold on to the girl he follows issei back home with the wolf running next to them. Running through the woods issei realized that he had a weird feeling like he felt at home in the woods like he had been living there all his life. ' this must be the bestial instincts kicking in.' thought issei making his way through the forest. Finally making it to his house, issei was happy to know that his parents weren't there knowing that he didn't have to explain the wolf and shadow knight holding an unconscious girl.
Making his way to his room, issei had his knight lay the girl on the bed, also sending the knight to get the first aid kit. Once the knight left the room to get the first aid kit, issei finally realized that the girl on the bed barely had any clothes on, all she had was a torn black dress. Issei started to blush looking at her and started to turn but noticed that one of her hands was clenched tight but he could see an item in her hand. Wanting to know what was in her hand, issei knew that just based on level that she was stronger than him and that he wouldn't be able to open her hand by force.
Getting the first aid kit, issei started to clean the cuts and bruises that were on the girl and bandaged any bad wounds he found. Once he was done he put his first aid kit away and had his wolf and knight unsummoned with the knight going back to his shadow and the wolf vanishing into the wind. With issei alone in his room with the girl he decided to wait for her to wake up. In the meantime he started to study for his school that starts in a couple days.
Student council office
Sitting in the office were the two devil heiresses and their queens. Rias gremory and akeno himejima,along with sona sitri and tsubaki shinra. The four beauties were sitting in the office discussing the findings of rias and her peerage.
" So what did you and your peerage find?" asked sona.
"Well when we showed up it was a cave, and now we know that the mystery person we have here is a sacred gear user," said rias.
"Oh and how do we know that this person has a sacred gear, and what did you find in the cave?" asked sona with curiosity.
" There were multiple wolves dead in the cave and two massive wolves that could have been closer to dire wolves." said Rias, taking a sip of the tea that akeno had made for them.
" And how does that tell you that a mystery person has a sacred gear, normal humans hunt wolves all the time and two big wolves are not that much different." said sona.
"There was also a broken roman gladius and the two big wolves were killed with brute force and not a weapon along with a werewolf killed by having its neck snapped and its jaw broken." said rias causing sona to almost spit up her tea and for tsubaki to freeze mid sip of her tea.
" a werewolf. A wolf or a big wolf killed with your bare hands is one thing but a werewolf is a mythological creature known for their speed and strength. To catch a werewolf is hard but to snap its neck and break its jaw is another. So ya i would have to agree that it has to be a sacred gear user. But the question now is what sacred gear." said sona thinking to herself trying to think of what sacred gear could there mystery person be using.
" But now that I have seen what this person can do, I want to say that I want him and I put claims on him to join my peerage." said Rias, causing Sona to be a little sad knowing that she wouldn't be able to get this mystery person.
Unknown to the rest of the group, Akeno was both interested and happy that Rias wants this mystery person to join the peerage. She also wants to meet this person to know why their lightning magic felt so similar to hers. If she could find someone that can handle her thunder and have some fun with, then she might have found a new play toy. Her sadist side is coming out a little.
Back with issei a couple hours later
Feeling warm and comfortable was the last thing that raynare thought, slowly opening her eyes she saw a plain ceiling and she could hear someone singing softly. Looking down at herself she saw a blanket over her, and once she moved it she saw the bandages and that the rings were still in her hand. Looking over to where the singing was coming from she saw a young man sitting at a desk with headphones in and a book in front of him.
Issei was studying his history books when he got derailed by reading books on mythology and heroes of legends. Listening to his music, issei wasn't afraid of his parents randomly walking into his room given that he would be able to sense them coming. That also meant that he could sense the fallen angel wake up and start moving, and he was about to turn around but he wanted to finish reading the story of son wukong in the journey to the west.
Raynare was looking around the room and tried moving to get out of bed when she was stopped by a voice. " you might want to take it easy, you were pretty banged up when I found you. I did my best with what I had, luckily you didn't seem to have any broken bones or outstanding injuries, just some cuts and bruises.'' said issei sitting in his chair looking at raynare with his head phones out.
"Thank you for taking care of me, may I ask where I am?" asked Raynare, staying on the bed with the blanket around her.
" yes. You are at my house in kuoh. I found you passed out in the woods a couple hours ago, and you were holding something in your hand and you had a strong grip on it so i decided to just let you hold on to it. Oh my bad i forgot to introduce myself, i am issei hyoudou." said issei bowing his head to introduce himself.
Raynare was slightly skeptical of the person in front of her given that she could feel the magic and power coming from him. But she did notice that she still had her clothes on her and that there was no malice or evil intent coming from him. Not knowing if the boy in front of her knows about the supernatural world or not, Raynare didn't know if she should tell him who she really is or not.
Before she could say anything there was a knock on the door down stairs. Hearing the knocks and sensing the incoming person issei made his way down stairs telling the girl to stay in his room and that he will see who it is. Making his way to the door, issei couldn't tell who it was. He knew it wasn't his parents and he wasn't expecting anyone to be coming over. Making it to the door, Issei opened it and saw a man in a gray trench coat and a top hat with a rather menacing figure and he could feel the killing intent coming off the man in waves.
"Can I help you sir?" asked Issei, using an observation on the man.

" Yes, I am looking for a young girl with black hair and a dress. She is my daughter and she got lost in the woods the other night. I have been looking for her all day. Would you have happened to know anything that could help me find her?" asked the man.
Issei didn't know what to do, but the one thing he did know was that he was not going to give raynare to this man. The simple fact that the info he got told him that if he gave her over she would be killed. Before he could do anything he heard a squeak coming from his stairs, turning around to see Raynare on the stairs. Issei could feel the man behind him move and the killing intent skyrocket.
As if time was slowing down multiple things happen, issei could see raynare's face changed to a face of fear and worry as she ran to him, a window popped up telling in a emergency quest had been issued telling him that someone wants to kill him and he has to kill the killer, and finally issei could feel the hair on the back of his head and his bestial instincts were going off like crazy.
Issei knew what he needed to do but it meant revealing himself to Raynare, but in this situation he needed to do something to survive, so he made up his mind to fight now and hope for the best later. Activating multiple things at once to increase his survivability. Activating his armor, dragons hide, sprint, bestial features to increase his senses and grow claws. With the shadows at his feet blasting up his body he moved to the side and around the man causing him to miss the knife that had almost been shoved into his back, and caused the man to stumble.
By the time the man got up and turned around he had a katana at his neck and a black armored, hooded figure above him with a dragonic silhouette and red eyes facing him. Issei was ready to cut the man down at even the slightest movement.
So to say the raynare was surprised would be an understatement. In a second a nice young man who had just helped her and who she was ready to help get away from the man. Just caused shadows to wrap around him and to hide his face with that of a dragon, and to move at inhuman speeds to get away and around the attacker, and the blade he drew was razor sharp to the naked eye and had electricity coming off of it constantly.
After about a couple seconds the man tried pushing the katana away with his knife and tried to stab Issei only for the knife to shatter on his armor and the man's face fell and before he could try anything else a clawed hand was lodged into his chest. Looking up into issei's shadowy red eyes with his last seconds of life. " damn…..you…..freak." said the man with his last breath before he went limp in his arms. Putting the man on the ground, issei deactivated his skill and deactivated his armor and weapon, sending them back to his shadow.

Issei pushed the window to the side as he turned to look at Raynare who was staring at him with a mix of shock, amazement and fear. '` are you ok?" asked Issei, with concern in his eyes.
After making sure raynare was ok, issei summoned his shadow knight and had him get rid of the man's body. Making it back to his room with raynare issei had her sit down on the bed as he took a seat in his chair. " I guess now it is easier to talk knowing that I am a part of the supernatural world." said issei.
Raynare didn't know what to say, she was still a little surprised at the young man in front of her, and she couldn't even tell what group he belonged to or if he is even human. " My name is Raynare, I am a pure fallen angel and a member of the grigori. Who exactly are you and what group do you belong to?" asked Raynare as she looked directly at issei to see if she could catch him lying.
" it is nice to meet you. My name is Issei hyoudou and I am human. I possess a sacred gear and don't belong to any groups. I only recently got my sacred gear and learned of the supernatural world. Oh and if you are worried i am going to attack you then you would be wrong in that guess, so if you don't mind could you put the blade of light behind your back away?" asked Issei pointing at raynare's hand that was holding a dagger of light behind her just in case he attacked her.
Feeling that he wasn't lying and that there was no hostile intent coming from him, Raynare dismissed her light weapon and relaxed a little. " What sacred gear do you have? Last time I checked there wasn't one that let you use shadows like you just did." said Raynare wanting to know what sacred gear the young man infront of her had.
Knowing it was issei's turn to not know if he should tell her about his second sacred gear or just to tell her about the player's world. Looking at the girl issei had a weird feeling that he shouldn't lie to her. With a sigh, issei stood up and activated both of his sacred gears causing them to appear. " i am the wielder of both the players world and the boosted gear, and if you would like to know the shadow thing was just my armor that i got from the players world." said issei, with raynare dumbstruck at that fact that she is seeing someone with two very powerful sacred gears. Even though there was a twice critical on his arm she could feel the power coming from it and it was a lot more powerful than a normal twice critical would be.
Deactivating his sacred gears, issei sat back down. " So now that I have answered your question, can you answer mine? Why was that man after you?" asked issei, wanting to know why she was being targeted by the man, and possibly the group he was with.
Looking at issei, raynare knew that he was someone she could trust. After knowing that he saved her in the forest and protected her from the hunter. "he was a hunter from a group that calls themselves (the last saints), they are a group of humans and heroes that believe that other then humans and human heroes, that all supernatural races and people associated with the supernatural world vea family or sacred gear like you." said raynare.
After talking for some time with issei, raynare wanted to take a bath and clean herself, so issei told her where the bathroom was and where the towels were. Once she left he had his knight come back in the room and return back to his shadow but not unsummoning him given that it doesn't take mana to keep him summoned. Issei also finally opened the window that popped up after he killed john holmes.

Seeing the rewards issei was interested in seeing what he would get, and seeing the first reward issei already knew what he would put seeing that he already had a decent amount of skills so he would choose the spell. So with his mind made up he choose the spell and selected yes to accept the rewards
Reward 1: magic selected- shadow magic: shadow hold (lv.1): when used on a target their shadow will come to life and hold them in place as long as they cant break the hold. 20 mana per cast 10 mana per minute.
Reward 2: dagger belt: a belt used by hunters and assassins. The belt comes with throwing daggers that when thrown and after making contact with a solid object they would teleport back to the belt
Reward 3: crafting materials- holy cloth, gem of day and night
Seeing his rewards, Issei was extremely happy. Not only did he get a new spell and it was from a different magic type, he also got a belt of basically infinite throwing knives. But the thing that got him the most interested was the crafting materials, not only did he get two of them, it meant that he would be able to craft things in the future.
Looking at his rewards, Issei didn't notice the sound of someone walking to his room. Knocking on his door, Issei jumped and quickly closed the window and told the person to come in. it was just raynare, but there was a problem all she had was a towel and that was it. Issei's brain had to do a factory reset before he could even do anything, because Issei raynare was the most beautiful girl he had ever met.
After trying to get his body to move again issei handed her a t-shirt and some sweat pants to wear, lucky or unlucky depending who you ask, raynare left the room to change into the clothes. It took Issei another couple seconds to get his mind back with his body. 'Holy shit she is gorgeous. She is a fallen angel with a slender and curvy body that any man would love. All of this on top of the fact that she was about my age, I couldn't ask for anything better….. Wait, is she the same age as me or not. She looks my age but angels live forever right.' thought issei, wondering how old raynare actually is.
Once she was done, raynare walked back into his room only to see issei deep in thought not even noticing that she had entered the room. Sitting down on the bed she looked at the boy confused on what he was thinking about, noticing that he looked rather cute when he was thinking. The second she had this thought she looked away with a blush on her face.
"Ha, can I ask you a question?" asked Issei, not moving from his seat.
" ah. Yes you can. What would you like to ask?" said Raynare, still blushing a little at her thoughts about issei.
" I don't mean this in a bad way, but how old are you? You look like you are my age but dont angels live forever?" asked issei.
Raynare looked at issei who looked completely serious. " it is rude to ask a girl her age but if you must know I am 17, and no angel don't live forever just a really long time." said raynare.
" So you are the same age as me, but I thought that you said you were a pure blooded fallen angel, how can you be my age?" asked issei.
"Both of my parents were fallen angels and they had me. It is actually rare for fallen angels to reproduce with each other." said raynare.
" if both of your parents are fallen angels wouldn't they be with you, and wouldn't they protect you?" asked issei.
The second raynare heard the question she gained a sad and somber look on her face. " they did protect me. When I was young my parents brought me to the human world to see what it was like. While we were enjoying our time, we were attacked by a hero. Next thing I know we were in a cage being studied by the last saints. As time went on they got worse and worse with their treatment of us. It got so bad to the point i almost.'' Raynare started to cry and held the two rings she had in her hands tightly. Before she could continue, she could feel something warm and protecting the rap around her. Issei was not the smartest person in the world but after hearing what happened to her, it didn't take long to put the pieces together and know what happened. Giving Raynare a hug, Issei could feel her wrap her arms around him and started crying even harder.
They stayed there for a while as all the repressed emotions came back to raynare. Having to stay strong for days to get away from the group, it is a tough task for anyone but it is even more tough for someone who lost their parents. At that moment raynare was not a fallen angel, she was just a scared and sad girl who lost her parents letting it all out in a time of safety and peace, with someone she knew she could trust.
After some time the two teens just sat there in each other's embrace, no words being said and neither of them moving. To raynare she knew that she needed this and didn't want it to end. For Issei, he had a feeling that he needed to help the girl in front of him. It was also great to be able to hug a beautiful girl. While they were distracted by the moment neither of the two teens heard the front door open, and footsteps coming to the room.
Miki hyoudou was having a great day after going on a date with her husband and knowing that her son is trying to make his life better by working out. When she got back home to see her son's shoes at the front door, she felt a little bad not leaving dinner for him so she made up her mind and was going to ask him if he would like for her to make something for him. However miki was not expecting to see her son hugging a beautiful black haired girl in his room wearing his clothes, so she reacted like any mother would in that situation and fainted. Hearing his wife hit the floor, Gouru came to check to see the same site, slowly reaching for the door and closed it. But both issei and raynare could hear what he said on the other side of the door. " That's my boy!" said gouru, causing Issei to look away in embarrassment.
After waking his mother up and having her and his father ask about a thousand questions, issei had them sit down and tried introducing raynare to them. " Mom, dad, I know what you saw was unexpected. But I can explain." said issei.
"Unexpected is an understatement. But please explain." said gouru.
" well you see she's….." issei was trying to come up with something to say when he was frozen in shock by raynare.
" I'm his girlfriend, Raynare amano. Nice to meet you." said Raynare with a bow and a smile.
Next morning with issei
Waking up issei had begun his morning routine of doing his sit ups and push ups, but once he got down stairs to start his run he was surprised to see raynare at the door putting a pair of tennis shoes. " umm what are you doing up so early in the morning, and where did you get those clothes?" asked Issei, staring at Raynare with confusion and attraction.
Standing after putting her shoes on was raynare wearing a short sleeve sports top with sports pants, having her long black hair in a ponytail. " Your mother told me that you go out early in the morning to work out and I would like to come with you, and the clothes were made by me using magic." said Raynare smiling.
"Wait, you can make clothes using magic?" asked issei.
" yes, most supernatural races can make clothes out of magic." said raynare.
" Then why did you have to come into my room naked and ask for something to wear?" asked issei, still with the image of a naked raynare in his head.
" because my magic was low and I was tired after days of running. Now are we going to go for a run or not?" asked Raynare, with Issei giving up and getting his shoes on.
Later in the the morning
Apparently even though she might be a higher level then issei, her endurance was not the best. At the 6 mile mark raynare was breathing heavily and having trouble keeping up with issei who was sweating and keeping a steady pace. " Are you doing alright? Do you need me to slow down?" asked issei.
" no….i….. Can… keep…" raynare tried to keep running but ran out of steam at the 7 mile mark having to stop and take a break. Sitting on a bench in a park nearby, Raynare was out of breath, breathing hard. She was surprised but happy to see Issei standing in front of her offering a water bottle. Thanking him she drank the whole thing feeling much better. " you do this every day, as a daily quest?" asked raynare.
"Yes, along with 100 push ups and sit ups. But I have only had to do this for a couple days and normally after this I would go home but recently I have been wanting to train my new abilities and see what they can do." said issei, still jogging in place.
" you still have how far to go, and where would you train your abilities? Because if i remember correctly there are devils that rule over this town." said raynare to issei who for a second didn't have any reaction, before he started questioning her about everything under the sun. asking about devils, how he had no idea they were in his town, and how they ruled over the town. " Slow down, I can tell you a little later in a not so populated area." said Raynare, jestering to the normal people around them.
Issei, knowing what she meant, had an idea. Picking raynare up bridal style he activated sprint and dashed off back to the forest where he had practiced the other day. Making it to the forest issei put raynare down who was not ready for issei to pick her up or for him to run so fast. Issei got the normal window telling him that he was done with his daily quest getting his rewards and opening the random gift.
Random gift: item- resting candle: when lit helps those around it sleep and causes them to have happy dreams.

Issei closed his windows, and looked at Raynare who was looking better after the short rest she had. Starting to talk to her, Issei went back to asking about the devils and if she knew who they were. After hearing the information that she did know, Issei was feeling a little better knowing that the devils are not the same as the ones in movies and video games.
" So now, how would you like to train? If you would like, I don't mind helping you." said raynare.
"Idk but I was going to try out my new weapon. If you want to help that would be nice but i don't want to hurt you." said issei not realizing that raynare was not as weak as he thought, forgetting that she was a lot higher level then him.
" Oh you would be lucky to tickle me, but I will humor you." said raynare, making a spear of light in her hand and readying herself to fight issei and teach him a lesson about underestimating her.
"Oh your on." said issei smiling as he donned his armor and drew his blade, getting into a stance holding the blade with two hands causing it to grow to the size of a nodatchi. Lightning danced off the blade as issei got ready to fight, activating his dragon hide growing a layer of scales, his sprint for speed, perception to increase his reaction time and to see each and every move so he could counter, and bestial feature to increase his strength. Issei might have underestimated raynare power but he was still a gamer at heart and the level gap made him buff to the highest he can to get an edge.
" ready." said raynare.
"Begin." said Issei, charging her.
20 minutes later
For all it was worth issei tried, but the level and skill gap caused him to lose in the end but he did get some positives out of the spar. One being that his skills leveled up, and that he had gotten a little better with his new weapon learning that after growing the blade if he let go with one hand would cause it to shrink but that he could control it shrinking back to normal at will, but he would need both hands to grow it again.
Issei also learned a very important lesson, don't ever damage a girl's hair especially with lightning. Will issei was fighting he had tried his weapons ability and had cut some of raynare's hair at the end and it was at that moment that issei learned to fear the rage of a female. For after looking at the scorch and cut ends of her hair, raynare almost impaled issei in about ten different places with her light spears.

"You were holding back, so i don't know how much i helped." said raynare knowing that issei didn't fight her at 100%.
" You knew. Sorry I know you are a lot stronger than me but I just don't want to accidentally hurt you. You have been through enough pain." said issei , getting a blush from Raynare and a hug from said girl.
Once she was done hugging him she saw that issei wanted to ask her a question. " What is it?" asked raynare.
" can i see your wings?" asked issei, causing raynare to be surprised a little but nodded to let issei see.
Unfolding her wings, issei saw two large soft looking black feathered wings sprout from the reynares back. Entranced but the wings subconsciously walked over to Raynare and reached out to touch her wings and feel them. Placing his hands on her wing caused Raynare to have a little squeak come out because she wasn't expecting Issei to touch her sensitive wings. " they're beautiful." said issei, not realizing he said that out loud.
" Thank you." said Raynare with a blush from the praise from issei along with his hands which were still feeling her wings. Seeing her blush cause issei to snap back to reality and to stop what he was doing. " I'm sorry I didn't even ask to touch them, and they seem very sensitive and, and…." issei was cut off by the laughing coming from raynare.
" Sorry, it's just funny to see you like that. It's ok I don't mind you touching my wings. It feels nice, and it makes me happy to see someone liking my wings. Fallen angels don't get the best attention from others." said Raynare with a not so happy smile.
" Now it's my turn." said Raynare, confusing Issei for a second. " you asked to see something of mine, it's only fair I get to see something of yours." said Raynare with a smile causing issei to sweat.
" Can you show me what you can do with the players' world? I have been told a little about it from uncle azazel, but not a lot.
" Uncle azazel? Wait do you mean the azazel, as in the one incharge of all fallen angels. He's your uncle?" asked Issei in surprise.
"Wait, I thought you just learned about the supernatural. How do you know about uncle azazel?" asked raynare, confused about how issei knew so much about azazel.
" Well, learning that there was a whole different world out there, I started to do some reading and learning about the supernatural world. One of the things I read talked about azazel and how he was the first and most powerful fallen angel." said issei.
"Ah. well yes he is the powerful angel but he spends all his time studying sacred gears. He was really obsessed with the 13 longinus and the player's world was the one he spent the most time studying, given that each user is different in how it is used. And to answer your question he is not really my uncle but my parents were close with him and he would come around and play with me as a child." said raynare, looking at issei waiting for him to show her what he could do with the players world.
Issei, seeing that Raynare was waiting, made up his mind and decided to show her what he could do. Showing off his abilities like his inventory and his armor, summoning his shadow knight surprising raynare to see the knight. " You can summon this knight, from your shadow," said Raynare with some awe in her voice.
Seeing that she was intrigued by the summon, issei activated his call to the pack, and summoned a wolf again. Confusing Raynare for hearing the howl until she saw the wolf and had a massive smile on her face as she went over and started petting the wolf. Issei on his part thought the wolf would attack her, but that was shut down when it rolled over so that raynare could pet its stomach.
Issei was finding it quite cute seeing raynare petting the wolf and smiling, which once he saw that smile issei made up his mind to protect it. After making up his mind, Issei remembered the conversation he had with his parents and raynare. " ha, quick question. Why did you tell my parents you were my girlfriend, if you don't mind me asking.?" asked issei.
Looking at Issei, still petting the wolf, Raynare started to blush at him. " Well meanly because it was the only idea I could come up with, and it also helps that you saved me and protected me even though you had no idea who or what I was." said raynare, also thinking to herself that issei was pretty attractive.
Issei smiled and started to blush as well. As time went one issei showed raynare more of his skills and even his magic surprising raynare to see that he can use both air and lightning magic. Given that having magic is normal but lightning magic is one of the rarer magics to use, the one that really made her jump was the shadow magic. Shadow magic was an extremely rare magic to even see let alone use.
Once the two were done having their fun and showing off their abilities, they made their way home to clean themselves off and while issei was waiting for raynare to finish her shower, he pulled out the dungeon key he got and had a thought. ' Maybe I should go and see if I can take on this dungeon.' thought issei.
" You're thinking of going to a dungeon aren't you?" asked Raynare standing at the door drying her hair with a towel.
" ya i want to try and get as strong as i can before school starts, given that the devils that are here go to the same school as me." said issei
" Well if you're going into a dungeon then I am coming with you." said raynare.
" Sorry but no. one because I don't know if you can and two I don't know if it will be my level or upgrade to your level, either way that would be bad." said issei.
Rayanre wanted to disagree with him but she could argue with what he said. She really wanted to go with Issei to help him get stronger and to possibly get closer to him. Making up his mind issei got what he needed from home and said his goodbyes to raynare and pulled out the key so that he could see where he needed to go.
Near the town casino
Walking near the casino issei saw that there were quite a few people there and it looked like more and more people were coming as night approaches. Following the path the sacred gear gave him issei made his way to the side of the casino where the path went straight into a wall. Holding the key to the wall a port opened up and a window popped up.

Inserting the key issei saw a door appear and he walked through it. Entering the building issei saw a lavish casino that seemed to be empty. Walking a little further in issei got a window telling him about the dungeon.
Welcome to the demon's casino. Where all demons come to partake in the sin of greed.
To meet the boss of the casino you have to get the three keys from his lesser minions who act as the dealers of the casino.
Each key holder is in their own area, enter each area to meet the dealer and get the key.
Reading the message on the window, Issei had a chill run down his back. Closing the window issei walked to the main area of the casino seeing the demonic looking casino with demonic looking tables and roulette machines that blast out hell fire.
Seeing that there was a grand staircase that went up to a massive balcony blocked off by a gate. Guessing that's where he has to go to meet the boss. Looking around he could see a door on both sides of the casino with different game names above them and one under the staircase.
Walking to the one on the left issei walked through a door labeled black jack. Making his way through the issue could see a table with 4 players at it with the dealer sitting on the other side of the table. Once he was fully in the room the dealer and the players turned and looked at him, with the players standing up and making their way to him and the dealer staying back.
(large imp) (lv. 7): a large version of an imp, with bat-like wings and a scorpion's tail on a semi humanoid body.

(minotaur runt) (lv.8): a minotaur that was born as the runt of his siblings with a smaller body and less muscles and shorter horns.
Seeing the demon's issei prepared himself for a fight, dawning his armor and drawing his weapon with both hands to grow it to its nodachi size, getting into a stance ready to fight. Seeing that there was an opponent in front of him the minotaur grabbed his double bladed ax and roared at issei and charged, with the imp flaying up and the two warriors right behind him.
Seeing the minotaur about to swing issei step forward and swung his blade at the minotaurs leg cutting it and making his way to the two warriors swinging at one of them but having his sword blocked by the blade of the warrior. The other warrior took his chance and swung at him but was stopped by a black blade. Being pushed back as the shadow knight rises from issei shadow ready to fight.
Pushing the warrior back, Issei had a second to duck as the minotaur swung his ax at issei. Moving away issei stabbed his blade into the leg of the minotaur were he had cut before, making the wound greater. Sliding on the ground, Issei called out his emerald blade and stabbed it into the other leg of the minotaur causing it to roar out in pain.
Moving away from the minotaur, Issei had forgotten about the imp which landed and tried grabbing Issei holding the two blades so that he could use them. Pushing issei to the ground the imp raised his tail to sting issei. The shadow knight was busy with the two warriors which he was having a better time with then issei would have. Seeing no way issei decided to start using his mana even though he wanted to save it for the dealers and boss, but he needed the help. Activating his skill issei howled but instead of a wolf coming a black bear appears and tackled the imp biting at its neck.
Getting up issei put away his emerald blade and looked at the battle ground. The imp was having trouble with the bear who was trying to claw at the imp. The knight was holding off the two warriors with a lot better sword work then issei had. Finishing with the minotaur which was having trouble standing with his injured legs but was still a threat. Issei saw an opportunity and he was going to take it. Sheathing the blade issei could feel the lightning charging the blade, and after a second issei flashed forward at the minotaur and before he new it all that the minotaur could hear was issei calling out the name of his attack " rikiri!" and in a flash issei was on the other side of the minotaur and the beast was still until it collapsed to the ground and it's head fell from its shoulders.
' That was awesome. I felt so fast and strong.' thought issei pulled his blade back out of his sheath and looked around but was surprised to see that the bear had a couple of puncture wounds on its hide but it had the reminisce of the imps throat in his mouth. The knight was in a blade lock with one of the warriors and the other was on the ground getting back up from being knocked down. Moving to the warrior's issei reactivated his emerald blade. Making it to the warrior issei striked out with his blades as the warrior striked back with his weapon.
Locking blades with the warrior issei moved his emerald blade away from the lock and stabbed the warrior in the side and would not stop stabbing him in the side and kept pushing with his nodachi, until the bear came from behind the warrior and bit him on the side of the neck and dug his claws into his back. With one last yell of pain issei moved his nodachi and slashed at his stomach disemboweling him. Seeing the dead demon on the ground, Issei looked to help the knight but all he saw was the knight hugging the warrior with his sword through his chest. Pushing the warrior of his blade the knight pointed his shadowy and bloody blade at the dealer as a challenge to fight.
Standing in front of the dealer issei had both his blades out and having his knight and bear at his sides, issei was ready to fight the demon in front of him. Issei knew this demon would be a lot harder to deal with then the others. Knowing this issue, he started buffing himself. Activating dragon hide, sprint, perception, bestial features, and static to give him a edge in the fight.
Sensing the energy in the air and the changes to the human infront of him, the demon grinned and with one quick movement sent the table flying and took a step forward ready to fight.
(great demon jack) (lv.12): a demon in service of the boss of the casino, with his backward facing horns, and his sharp claws and red skin, he is one of the toughest demons that reside in the casino.
Seeing the demon ready to fight the knight prepared his blade and the bear stood on its hind legs and roared. With a grin the demon charged, pulling out two blades and swinging at issei, who ducked by the skin of his neck. Missing issei the demon turned around to block the blade of the knight but wasn't ready to have the bear jump on his back biting him. Charging his blade and using lord of lightning, issei launched a wave of lightning at the demon but it was batted away with one of the blades.
Kicking the night away, the demon used the movement to also push itself into a wall crushing the bear between him and the wall. Looking at the bear the demon wasn't ready when issei appeared next to him and slashed at his leg with both of his blades growling in pain the demon tried hitting him back but was blocked by the emerald blade pushing issei away.
Getting his footing issei looked back at the demon seeing the knight go past him with his blade at the ready, attacking the demon the knight was not making deep cuts but he was still cutting him. The bear got back up and attacked the demon biting his already injured leg causing it to kneel on the ground. Seeing a chance to injure the demon more issei put his emerald blade away and went for another lightning blade. Sheathing the blade issei had the knight pin one of his arms and had the bear hold him down. Yelling out the attack issei flashed towards the demon but before he made contact the demon pushed the bear off and managed to move out of the attack area but not unscathed.
Losing an arm in the process the demon was furious at the human that dared to attack him. With rage in his eyes he went to attack issei but missed the knight coming out of nowhere and slicing his other leg causing him to fall on the ground. Before he could get up the bear landed on his back and started biting his neck while the knight stabbed his sword into the demon's shoulder, it thrashed and tried to get up but issei wasn't having that and in another flash and yell of rikiri the demon was beheaded. Ending the fight. Putting his weapons away issei stepped back feeling his regeneration kicking in and healing him.

Looking at all the stuff he got, Issei was happy to see everything he got. The gold he got reminded him that he needed to look through the store one more time. But the thing that got him the most interested was the crafting window, he had not been able to craft anything yet and this was the first thing he could make. Pressing the window issei saw what he would need to make it. Seeing it would cost him the two imp stingers and the demonic twin blades, pressing yes issei saw the two items combined and a new item was made.
Demonic scorpion blades class: B
Weapon effect: poisonous sting. On hit the blades inflict poison on enemies and there is no cure to the poison.
"Interesting these should come in handy, if demons can be poisoned." said issei to himself.
Feeling his mana slowly filling back up, Issei made his way to the main area again and over to the door on the right with his knight and his bear at his side. Looking at the door issei saw that it was called queens poker. Feeling that his mana had fully regained, given that it regained faster the higher his endurance is. Walking into the room issei saw a table like the last room but there were fewer enemies in this room though. There was the dealer behind the table but there were only two players at the table, but they were not as weak as the other players, issei could tell that from looking at them.

Seeing the two demons readying themselves for a fight issei also readied himself drawing his two new blades ready to fight and defeat his opponents. Seeing that their prey was ready to fight, the two demons grinned and charged with their claws at the ready. Issei sees the demon's charge coming, as well as his knight and bear right behind him. Moving towards one of the demons, Issei had his knight and bear go to take on the other demon.
Making it to each other, issei and the demon clashed with sparks dancing off the clashes of claws and blades. As issei attacked the demon in front of him, the other one was having its fight with the knight and the bear, who were a surprisingly good tag team, with the bear using its size to push and pull the demon. The knight used his skill to cut and injure the demon.
Back with issei he had gotten a couple of cuts on the demon and issei learned something from that, that being that whatever poison is on his blades is very dangerous to the point that after four cuts the demon wasn't looking so good and was starting to stumble and slow down. After the tenth cut the demon was on the ground blood pouring out its mouth as it weakly tried to get to issei, who for his part was feeling a little sad for the demon. Walking over to it, Issei stabbed both blades into the demon's back and out through his chest mercy killing the demon.
Looking over at the other demon, Issei needed to duck as his knight went flying over him and into the wall. Looking at the demon who was trying to get the bear off his back, it had cuts and bite marks all over its body but it still had plenty of strength in it to fight. Switching to his storm ruler, issei sheathed it and flashed forward, yelling out the attack and slashing the demon's side, cutting half way through its spine. Dropping to a knee the demon held its side with one hand and held itself up with the other. Looking up the demon didn't have time to see his prey because a blade had gone straight through its eye and out the back of its head killing it instantly.
Pulling the blade out issei saw the bear pull its claws from the demon's back and the knight pry himself from the wall. Looking to the dealer issei was surprised to see she wasn't there, that's when his sixth sense went off and he quickly jumped to the side dodging a chain that almost cut him in half. Looking back issei saw that his bear was not so lucky as him as the bear was missing his upper half and was dead on the floor.
Seeing his summon die for the first time issei felt like he had lost a small part of himself, making him mad. Looking at the demoness, issei saw that she was smiling in joy, whipping the blood off her chains, which at a closer look had a sharp point at the end. Looking to his knight, issei saw he was ready to fight, and had moved to stand next to issei.
(greater demoness queen) (lv. 13): a female demon with two horns that grew in the shapes of hearts with a long tail and a tall figure, she uses special chains to attack and hold enemies. She is the second strongest demon under the control of the casino boss.
Knowing that it was time issei buffed himself again feeling the increase in his stats and the slow sense of his perception. Welding his strom ruler for the increase in potency of lightning magic and the more versatility of the blade. Sheathing the blade issei wanted to get an early hit in and flashed to the demon but before he got there the demon moved and dodged the attack. Turning around issei saw his knight trying to hit the demon but she kept dodging it.
Issei went in to help his knight in trying to hit the demon but even with both of them attacking the demon she kept blocking and dodging the attacks. Getting mad at the demon issei got an idea. As the demon saw another attack coming from the shadow knight she went to dodge again but couldnt and before she knew it she was cut by the knight. Stumbling back looking at the wound the demoness was freaking out as she had never been hit. Looking at the two she saw that the knight was in a charging stance with the blade resting on his non-dominant forearm ready to strike, and the other had two blades this time instead of one.
Wondering how she was hit she didn't notice the two charging until they were within range to attack. Seeing where the attacks would land the demoness tried to jump but couldn't, feeling like something was holding her legs. Before she could look down the knight had sliced her side and issei had made two cuts on her leg. Dodging the next attack she could feel the poison in her leg spreading. Looking at the cuts on her body the demoness was about to lose her mind from the amount of anger she was feeling.
Seeing the demon getting mad, Issei was happy to see that his plan was working. Charging again, Issei prepared his twin blades and the knight was ready to strike as well. Seeing the demon about to move, Issei used it. Shadow hold, causing the shadows at her feet to latch onto her legs holding her in place. Seeing the demon had finally noticed the spell it was too late, as the knight and issei's attacks landed and caused a lot of damage to the demon.
With the mix of poison and cuts the demoness could barely move, pushing herself into a corner she tried to lash out with her chains but at one point the knight had caught the chains and issei had cut off her arm. With her final breaths she saw the knight walk up to her and stab her in the chest right through her heart. Ending the fight, Issei deactivated his buffs and put his weapons away along with his armor to relax for a second.

Sitting down and taking a breath issei looked around the room seeing the damage that was inflicted on the room around him and the damage he and his summons took, issei was thinking to himself about how if his fight with the queen did this, then how would his next fight be and how would it be going up against the boss of the dungeon. Will sitting there issei noticed the knight standing over the body of the bear with his blade in the ground right in front of him and both hands on the hilt lowering his head in respect.
Taking a breath, issei opened up the windows that popped up in his face looking at the new item he got, and looking at the level ups of his skills. Issei was interested in the belt more than the skills given that he didn't know what a belt could do.
Serpent belt class: C
The belt is of a quality design with a head of a snake for a belt buckle on a brown snake like skin belt.
When used the wearer is immune to poisons and venoms
With the command of the wearer, the belt will animate and become a poisonous snake that listens to the commands of the user.
'Well atleast now my parents won't get on me about having a nice belt, but I don't know about the reaction to it turning into a snake, if they ever see it.' thought issei.
Once issei felt rested enough he made his way to the main area once again to face the final dealer and get the last key to fight the boss. Looking at the final door, Issei was worried how the fight would go and if he would be able to defeat the next demon, let alone the boss. Seeing the door issei saw the name. Kings game, knowing that he would need help issei used his call the pack skill again, summoning a grizzly bear this time.
Walking into the room, Issei prepared his scorpion blades for the battle. Once he was in the room, Issei looked around for the table and demons at it like he was used to, but instead all he saw was two sitting at a table playing a weird looking game. Thinking to himself issei had the idea that the two demons may be a lot closer in strength to each other then the other rooms.
Noticing the enemy that had entered the room, the two demons turned and looked at issei and his companies. Once they saw the intruders they both had faces of anger and rage, with the first demon stepping forward ready to rip issei limb from limb. Bashing his fist together the demon's fist lit up in fire.
(greater demon red king) (lv. 14): a demon that is the twin of the greater demon that holds the key to the boss room. A tall well dressed red demon with two horns that go straight up, and a sharp pointed tail. This demon is proficient at using hell fire.
Seeing the demon issei knew he would have to activate his buffs to fight both of the demons. Activating the buff's issei and his summons charged the demon who also charged at them. Meeting in the middle, Issei slid on the ground trying to slice the demon's legs but missed thanks to him jumping over him and blocking the knight's sword and holding the bear back.
Seeing the flames hurting the bear, Issei rushed the demon nearly being impaled on its tail. The knight, seeing that the demon was trying to do multiple things at once, tried to get its mean attention by constantly attacking, working by getting the demon to use both hands, letting go of the bear. Being distracted, issei was able to cut the demon's tail, causing poison to spread and the demon to get mad, punching the knight into a wall and turning on issei. Thinking fast to block the incoming hell fire fist issei used his new skill player's hand to grab a piece of the wall that had come off and used it to block the attack. Getting to the side of the demon issei used critical strike and stabbed both blades into the demon's arm, causing a lot of damage and inflicting even more poison.
Grabbing its arm the demon didn't see the bear coming and was tackled by the beast who tried to bite his neck. But the demon had gotten his own hand around the bear's neck and started to light it but was stopped by the knight stabbing his arm and issei who tried to stab the demon again but was batted away by its tail. By the time the knight had gotten the demon's hand off the bear's neck it was too late as the hell fire had burned right through its neck.
Using his sword to pull the demon's arm the knight tried to keep the demon off balance as issei got out of the wall using shadow hold to keep it in place as he used his magic to make two wind blades and launch them at the demon's arm using the blades as a focus for the wind. Hitting the arm of the demon it cut a good part of the arm to the bone but it was still usable. Shown when the demon grabbed the knight and threw him at issei, who caught him using the player's hand.
Looking at the demon, issei saw that the poison was slowly doing damage and spreading. Feeling the minor regan working, issei started to think of a plan to kill the demon. Knowing that he can't keep up this kinda fighting, issei had an idea. Using shadow hold on the demon, issei and the knight charged the demon. Activating critical strike issei stabbed his blades into the demon's leg with the knight doing the same in the other leg. Breaking the hold the demon swung with its bad arm at issei who activated an aspect of the wolf. Causing a wolf head to appear and bite down on the arm with tremendous force. With a strong pull issei ripped the demon's arm off, but did not see the other arm coming and was backhanded into a wall leaving his blade in the demon's leg.
Being distracted by issei the demon wasn't ready for a blade to be stabbed straight into his chest from his back where the knight was standing. Getting up issei saw the knight getting punched into the ground by the demon with one arm and his feet. Seeing his blades still in the leg of the demon issei knew that he would have to get them back.
Stomping on the knight the demon got an odd satisfaction seeing his enemy being crushed under his foot, but as he was about to crush the knight's head under his foot he was stopped by having two blades stabbed straight through his throat causing him to choke on his own blood. On the back of the demon was issei holding his strom ruler and his emerald blade forcing both through the demon's neck refusing to remove the blades.
Planting his feet into the demon's spine, Issei pulled back the blades forcing the demon to step back away from the knight to give him time to get back up. Knowing that he was being pulled away from one of his enemies the demon tried to get issei off his back with his one good hand, but he couldn't because issei kept moving out of his reach. Seeing no other option the demon went to jump, but issei saw this and used shadow hold and caused the demon to fall.
Seeing a chance issei used all his strength to hold the demon down, with the demon trying his best to get back to his feet but looking up all the demon saw was the knight jumping in the air blade pointing down with both hands aimed straight at the demon's head, and in the blink of an eye the shadowy blade was lodged straight throw the demons head. Both pulling their blades out of the dead demon's body, issei also grabbed his twin blades and put his strom ruler and emerald blade away.
Keeping his buffs active, issei turned to face the dealer with his knight at his side. Knowing that this fight will be just as tough if not more issei also reused his call the pack skill to summon a gorilla to help fight alongside him. But once Issei summoned the gorilla, he wasn't ready to see the demon smiling and just standing there with a sword in his hands.
(greater demon black king) (lv. 14): a demon that holds the key to the boss room. A tall well dressed black demon with two horns that go straight up, and a sharp pointed tail. This demon is proficient at using a sword.
Seeing the demon standing there and the info he learned he knew that he would have a very hard time fighting the demon with a blade given that he had more experience than issei did with a sword. Putting away his twin blades, issei pulled out his strom ruler knowing that the special attack it could do would help him close the gap a little. Seeing that the demon wasn't moving, issei was about to get into a stance when the demon talked.
" human?" said the demon.
Issei was confused, he had not had a demon in any of the other rooms talk to him. " yes?" asked issei.
" I have seen you fight, and you have power. But true power is decided in a single attack. So show me what you have. Put everything into your next attack if you don't have what it takes. It will be your last." said the demon, getting in a stance with his blade at his side ready to strike.
Feeling the killing intent coming from the demon, Issei prepared himself for his attack but before he could do anything the knight went straight past him and attacked the demon. But once the knight got into range he was cut in half and the demon didn't even move. Falling to the ground the knight disappeared into darkness and the demon simply continued looking at issei for any movement.
Knowing that his mana was getting low issei got in his stance with his storm ruler sheathed, building up a charge bigger then he has ever used. Pushing all his mana and his skills into the blade. Activating the player's hand for more power behind the swing, critical strike for damage, he even activated the boosted gear for more power. Knowing that he still needed to fight the boss, issei wasn't going to waste any more time.
With lightning dancing off his body, arcing to everything around him, and a blue light surrounding his blades sheath. Issei could feel his muscles tensing to the max to launch him at the demon, and within a second Issei would know if his life was over or that the journey he is on won't end yet. Seeing the human infront of him the demon pushed all his power out and was ready to strike him down. A black aura surrounded him causing his blade to turn black as night. With deep breaths both took a step forward swinging their blades.
In a flash of blue and black, and the crack of thunder and metal. Both stood on opposite sides of the room with their backs to one another. Seconds passed with nothing happening, until issei vomited blood and a massive slash was shown gushing blood from his side. Dropping to a knee, Issei held himself up and took sides as the demon began to laugh.
" Your strength is something to behold. You moved like lightning, and struck like a monster. But at the end of a fight only the strongest get to move forward. Thank you for showing me your power." said the demon as blood started to run down his neck, dropping his blade and falling to his knees. The demon's head fell to the ground drawing its last breath, taking in the last moment of consciousness the demon saw issei standing holding himself up with storm ruler and the help of the gorilla. With a grin on his face he passed out with the gorilla catching him, and a fraction of a second later darkness took the demon.
Feeling pain was normal after being cut, but to be alive after the massive cut he took was a miracle, that and the help of a healing potion from the shop made issei's life a little easter, until he learned that the shop only had two potions available at the moment and that he would have to wait for more when the store reset.
Sitting on the main floor, issei was letting his regeneration heal what damages the potion couldn't. Hearing the pings of his system trying to tell him the report of the battle and what stuff he got, but he was too busy thinking about how he was going to fight the boss. After the fight was over issei could feel that he had no mana left, lucky for him the gorilla did not disappear given that if it wasn't for the gorilla he would be on the floor in the other room.
" Those demons were both very close to killing me and they were most definitely the two strongest enemies that I have ever fought. So how am i supposed to fight the boss of this place, who is more powerful than the other demons." said issei out loud to himself, trying to come up with something to try and get an edge over the demon, but even with his boosted gear he doesnt think it would be enough.
Holding his head, Issei was getting frustrated, and decided to open the windows that he was ignoring to get his mind off the upcoming fight and to possibly get an idea to win. Opening the windows issei selected the loot window first.

Seeing the loot issei was interested in the scavenger loot, selecting the king of spades clothes. A playing card of the king of spades appeared in his hand, looking normal issei didn't know how it worked until he saw the back of the and all it said was throw me. Not knowing what else to do, issei through the card and once it hit the ground it shined a bright light before disappearing and in its place was a very well made purplish blue suit with lightning and cloud like patterns on the suit.
Suit of the night class: c
A well made suit with the patterns of storms on it, lined with a light blue inner lining and a black collar. The suit keeps the wearer comfortable like a cold night is always present. Grants the wearer lightning and thunder resistance.
At the will of the wearer, the suit will cover itself and the wearer in storm clouds before disappearing and reappearing a short distance away from its original position. Can be used 3 times per day.
Once per day the wearer can use the suit's natural energy generated by static electricity from wearing it, to make a mad dash to escape a situation. Moving at the speed of sound the user can use thunder step.
'Finally i have a nice suit, now mom can stop getting on me for not having a suit. It also has some useful abilities to help get out of a bad situation.' thought issei, holding the suit in his hand, before putting it in his inventory. Grabbing the creature box, issei looked at it and was confused until he saw a window pop up.
Creature box, an item used to hold a creature as a pet against its will. Used by demons and devils to hold monsters and to scare the creatures into submission. By opening the box you will release the creature inside. You can't see into the box so you don't know what you would get from the box. It could be something friendly, or deadly. It is your choice

Looking at the box issei felt that he should play it safe and keep it closed but his bestial instinct told him that what ever was inside the box was scared and wanted out. So taking his chances Issei opened the box, and as soon as the top was off a blanket came out of the box with a weird design. Looking like eyes all over it with teeth on the outer edge.
Before he knew it the eyes looked at him, and it started moving. " What the hell!" shouted Issei, seeing the thing move, but he calmed down, sensing that the creature was just afraid and hungry. Walking over to the creature issei tried to calm it down and get closer to hit to see if he could help it. Getting within arm reach of the creature a window popped up.

Looking at the window issei was somewhat confused but decided that at this point anything would help him. Selecting yes, issei could feel a weird sensation go through him for a second or two. After that time the feeling was gone but issei could feel the emotions of the creature in front of him, who was now happy. The happiness you would expect from a dog seeing their owner after coming home from work. Before he could do anything the creature lunged at him and wrapped itself around his neck forming a cloak.

Mimic cloak class: B
A mimic is a creature that can take the shape of almost anything and is usually found in random locations trying to find people to take care of them. This mimic takes the shape of a cloak.
Shift: this lets the mimic change its appearance to that of any type of cloak. It also means that the mimic can increase and decrease in size.
Protective: this mimic can grow eyes over itself to look out for incoming attacks, and just like any other living thing it will want to avoid damage by pulling and pushing its wearer to get out of harm's way.
Attachment: this creature will want to stay with you all the time and not leave your side. It will do as much as it can to stay on you, be that from changing size to a small scarf or band to be out of the wearers way, to even making itself into the wearers clothes so that it can stay with its wearer.
Looking at the creature issei was surprised to see the mimic changing to look like a normal brown cloak with a hood. Feeling a little weird having a living creature as a piece of clothing, issei tried having his armor come on and to his surprise it covered him and the mimic matched the color of the armor and somewhat mixed with the armor to mimic it. ' interesting, this thing might actually help me.' thought issei.
Moving to the next window, issei saw that he leveled up and to say he was surprised would be an understatement.

'Damn that was a lot, those fights are some real stuff.' thought issei, looking through the level ups and feeling the increase in power, issei had a feeling that he might be able to win the next fight. But he still could feel that his mana was low, so he would need some time before he would be in fighting shape. Looking at the keys, issei had thoughts of what would be behind that door.
After taking some time to catch his breath and to let his mana recharge, issei prepared himself to fight the boss. Summoning his shadow knight again, he noticed that the knight looked taller and more bulky with spikes coming from the armor, and a longer, more broad sword closer to a greatsword.
Walking to the door the three keys disappeared and the door opened. walking into the room issei drew his twin blades and activated his boosted gear. With his two summons behind him they all made it into the darkness of the room. "OH SHIIIIIT" yelled issei as he and his summons went flying out the darkness slamming into the wall.
" Well that could have gone better." said issei getting up off the ground, but looking up quickly hearing the boss coming from the darkness. Landing at the bottom of the stairs was one of the biggest demons Issei had ever seen. In Front of issei was a massive two legged winged demon.
Arch demon of deals and gambling arknors (lv.16): a red skinned giant demon with four horns in a crown formation. Two goat-like legs with a pair of torn bat-like wings. A very muscular build with cigars and an old gambling mob boss suit. He has two demonic looking swords that looked to be made of metal and stone.
Seeing that it was time, Issei got back to his feet and charged the demon with the gorilla and his knight right behind him. Going for the demon's legs, issei's attack was stopped by one of the blades as the knight's attack was also stopped. Getting kicked by the demon issei hit the ground hard but saw the demon about to cut the gorilla, using players hand issei stopped the demon's arm movement in time and the gorilla got in a good punch and managed to get a hold of the demon's head. The knight also took the chance to cut at the demon's leg making a shallow cut before getting backhanded away.
Trying to stab the gorilla without stabbing himself, the demon wasn't ready to have two blades stabbed into his leg. After stabbing the demon and poisoning him, issei was hoping to see the poison spread but it was barely moving. Dodging the incoming attacks issei used his wind blade spell and made a couple more shallow cuts over the demon's chest, before getting hit with the thrown body of the gorilla. Looking up to see both swords coming down on him, issei was happy to see his night block and hold back the swords with a lot of trouble.
Moving away from the demon issei was trying to come up with a plan to kill the thing. Charging the demon issei made a couple more cuts with his twin blade to increase the amount of poison in the demon, but it wasn't making a noticeable effect on him. Seeing a chance the knight dashed in with the gorilla but it was a fake from the demon swinging his swords at the two. Lucky the knight ducked under the attack but the gorilla was not so lucky getting cut in two. Feeling a sense of fear the demon turned around to block an attack but was two slow for issei, who went right past him making a pretty deep cut with his rikiri attack from the storm ruler.
Feeling the last of the boost hit his system, issei knew he was on a timer now and he had to end this fight fast. Sending multiple lightning arcs at the demon issei made an opening for his knight who managed to get a clean cut to the demon's neck but not deep enough to hit an artery. Sheathing his blade, issei tried to use rikiri again but was forced to move when the demon threw his blade at him, impacting the ground and leaving a small crater.
Thinking that the demon just lost a weapon, issei was royally pissed when he saw the blade go flying back to the demon's hand. Charging rikiri again, issei had the knight distract the demon long enough for him to get a good attack in. but he could keep the demon long as he had an arm cut off and was hit away by the demon's wing. But for issei it was enough and gave him an opening, flashing forward issei activated critical strike and managed to cut the demon's wing off leaving him with only one wing left. But issei wasn't ready when he felt a pull on his body and was moved to the side as a blade landed right where he used to be.
Looking to his side, Issei saw an eye from his cloak looking at him. " thank you." said issei to the mimic that just saved his life. Taking the change issei used players hand to hold the blade in place so that the demon was down a weapon will the knight distracted him from the other side. Using shadow hold issei rushed the demon sending multiple arc waves and hitting multiple cuts with critical strike activated, even using his emerald blade to stab at open spots he could find.
Thinking that he had a good flow going and seeing that the poison was starting to take a toll on the demon, Issei was smiling seeing that he was winning, but that's when it happened. As the knight was going in for an attack while the demon was distracted by issei, the demon did something issei wasn't ready for. The demon blocked the attack by sacrificing his remaining wing and decapitating the knight in one slash. Seeing this issei quickly charged a rikiri and flash to the demon but was stopped in his tracks as he heard the boosted gear annonce that time was up and he felt a wave of fatigue hit him.
Looking up issei could see that the demon sensed the lowering of his power and took it as a sign that he would win, but with everything he could, issei stabbed the demon in the heart with his storm ruler and even got the emerald blade in his chest as well. But he wasn't ready for the massive blade to be stabbed into his stomach. Not wanting to give the demon an edge he forced the blade deeper into his chest as he fought through the pain. Seeing that his hp was dropping, Issei didn't know if he would make it or not.
Finally the demon got Issei off him but not for having his fingers cut off one of his hands. Slowly getting up, issei was coughing up blood and holding his stomach to stop the bleeding. Luckily the mimic wrapped itself around the injury to slow the bleeding. But issei was starting to have trouble standing and the demon could still stand and move but at a sluggish pace. ' I need more, I can't die here. Not yet.' thought issei holding on for dear life.

Seeing the message, Issei was confused but happy at the same time. That's when his boosted gear appeared again and started to glow red and green until he heard a booming voice and the sacred gear changed. "Welsh dragon, boosted gear!" yelled out the voice from the boosted gear.
Feeling the boost in power issei knew he didn't have much time and went with the first thing that came into his head and put everything he had into his rikiri one last time. With lightning rampaging around him issei was feeling a massive amount of pressure from the energy building up as the demon approached ready to kill him.
Ready to strike issei activated critical strike and with a mighty push from his feet that shattered the ground issei flashed forward to strike the demon but right before it hit he heard something and felt all his new strength go right to the blade. " transfer" said the boosted gear. With the increase in power the blade went right through the demon, cutting his entire upper right shoulder and arm off and even cutting two of his horns.
Making it to the other side, Isse dropped to his knees feeling his buffs disappear and the boosted gear along with it. Looking back at the demon he was horrified to see the demon was barely holding on for dear life, shambling over to issei with one sword left. Not knowing what to do, Issei was about to give up until two more miracles happened. One his knight was back with his head healed and managed to stop the demon but issei could tell that he was not at top performance. The second being a message that popped up.

Without even thinking issei hit yes and felt his arm get hot as some of the materials in his inventory came out of his storge and fused with the gauntlet.

Seeing the finished product on his right hand, Issei was amazed to see the new power. The gauntlet had changed to that of an obsidian colored rock like metal gauntlet with no finger covers and stopped at the wrist with a reddish orange orb in the middle with flames coming off of it and wrapping arond his arm up half to his sholder.
Seeing the knight fall next to him with an arm missing and a big gash on his chest, Issei saw the demon was right on top of him. Not knowing what to do and about to pass out from blood loss issei put his right hand up and it glowed a bright orange before a blast of smoke slammed into the demon and sent him flying back and burning his face finally killing him as he weakly tried to reach for his blade but failed as his hand dropped to the ground.
Hearing the noise that it was over, issei was happy but saw that he was losing health and that the bleeding wasn't stopping smiling knowing it was over issei closed his eyes letting the darkness take him. Being woken up by movement issei was going in and out of consciousness as he was being carried by his knight who was slowly disappearing. First making it outside the casino, then blinking and being on the road with parts of the knight gone, to being at the foot of a hill were the knight was missing a lot of mass from his legs and body, with his head almost not even being there. To finally blinking and being at the top of a set of stairs under a torra gate, looking to see what remained of his knight dragging itself to the door of a shrine and knocking on it twice before completely vanishing half way through its third knock.
With the last of his consciousness left, Issei saw the door open and someone in a shrine maiden outfit and long black hair came running over to him. And as they got to him he could barely see them, nothing much but a blur as he closed his eyes for the last time fully falling into the darkness.
