With only six teams left the final battle is drawing near. Duban is awaiting Jack however Errol has set his sights on Jack as well, just when Jack was preparing for Errol Na'eemah appeared with her team and a challenge. The two teams would face each other in single Duels, this would go on until one Duelist would remain. From Na'eemah's team Xenia was first, Jack chose Violet. Violet won the Duel but then faced Qiana. Just after Qiana won the Duel by using Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord she got possessed by the demonic spirit of Exodia. Now an evil spirit and Errol are both on the loose and Jack and Juliet have to find a way to stop both.

32. Soul of a Demon.

'We postpone out Duels for now Na'eemah, you created quite a mess here, I have to clean this up first.'

Na'eemah bowed her head. 'I am truly sorry.' She clearly spoke.

'I know.' Jack replied: 'You never should have allowed her to use Exodius, that demon was sealed away for a reason.'

Leo interrupted Jack. 'We got incoming.' The Blade simply said as he pointed out something in the distance.

Jack could see the massive form of Errol approaching.

'Na'eemah get to safety.' Jack said, the Aldmer wanted to object but Jack stopped her. 'Errol is beyond anything...' Jack stopped as he saw Errol's mechanical arm split open revealing a large sword inside, immediately the message appeared on all television screens that Errol was disqualified for carrying a weapon.

'Like that's going to work Duban.' Jack growled at the television screen then Errol took a leap, Jack crossed his arms a surge of powerful magic shot through his body casting a barrier outwards of his body.

Errol crashed into the barrier with his full body, his sword pierced the magic making the barrier explode damaging nearby buildings, Errol was thrown backwards landing hard on his back. 'Run!' Jack roared, the moment Errol landed he sprung back up lashing out to where Jack was standing just a second ago, the blade of his sword split open the asphalt where it hit, Errol pushed through and the blade shattered.

As his arm reassembled back into a normal arm Errol looked around, he just saw Jack disappear into an alley, without even looking at the three Aldmer Errol ran to where he last saw Jack.

'What the hell?' Juliet gasped while running.

'Errol lost it.' Jack replied he wasn't out of breath at all magic was surging through his body fueling him constantly.

They stopped running when they found themselves near an abandoned school building, quickly they disappeared inside.

Errol in the meantime could trace the magic trail that Jack had left behind, suddenly he felt an entirely different magic, more sinister.

Errol stopped after looking around he saw Qiana.

'That magic, it ain't human.' Errol growled.

'So the mortal notices.' Qiana replied casually.

'You're a Duel Spirit and a powerful one at that.' Errol said: 'But you share the body with a mortal.'

Qiana chuckled: 'Says the mortal.'

This time it was Errol who let out a chuckle: 'Try god. I am beyond any mortal, I even bound the likeness of Yubel.' Errol showed the card, Qiana's eyes narrowed. 'She's the strongest active Duel Spirit, how did you get her to agree to this? Far as I know Yubel is connected to someone else.' The Aldmer hissed.

'I never asked. If she don't agree Yubel has to show herself, once she does I will bind her, thus far Yubel hasn't shown herself.'

For a second Qiana seemed to be impressed.

'So.' Errol broke the silence: 'The spirit of Exodia, trapped in a mortal body. What if we strike a deal?'

Qiana said nothing.

'You are on a timer Exodia, problem is you don't know how long you have. You control her body, but she can regain control any moment. Allow me to pull you out of her body, I know a nice mechanical body stored away in a building owned by Tamamo, I know where that body is and I can connect you to that body, you will have all the freedom you need and no time limit.'

Qiana started to laugh: 'No. That means I'd be in debt with you. I rather rip your soul out of your mechanical body and take control of that.' Qiana's Duel Disk activated.

'Fine.' Errol replied as he activated his own Duel Disk: 'Defy me and death is what you will find.'

(Errol: 8000) - (Soul of Exodia: 8000)

Errol drew his first five cards. 'I summon Treeborn Frog.' He stated, before him appeared the golden frog with the black spots and its white wings. The creature was moving like it was a real creature, it even croaked. (100 ATK)

'So this is what the Duel Monster Spirit Realm is like.' Errol muttered: 'At least partially, it is bleeding into this realm.' Errol laughed: 'Your funeral Exodia, by releasing your Spirit Realm you have enhanced my power.'

'It matters not.' Qiana replied as she drew her card. 'I summon Armageddon Knight.' The black haired warrior with his striking, red scarf leaped from the rooftop of a nearby building. (1400 ATK)

Qiana retrieved the right arm of Exodia from her Deck and discarded it, while in mid-air Armageddon Knight made a somersault and impaled the Treeborn Frog with his sword as he landed.

(Errol: 8000- 6700) - (Soul of Exodia: 8000)

Errol calmly drew his card: 'It is my Standby Phase so Treeborn Frog returns.' A warm light shone down from the sky on the ground, the golden, winged frog appeared happily flying around. (100 ATK)

'Flutter around without a care in the world.' The Necromancer said with a sigh, quickly he took a card from his hand. 'I normal summon Samsara D Lotus.' A lily pad appeared on the middle of the field, a beautiful lotus flower grew on the middle of it. Suddenly the flower rose revealing a small, plant-like creature underneath it, the flower was the hair of the creature. (0 ATK)

It didn't take long before a black fog rolled into the street. 'I offer Samsara D Lotus!' Errol roared the tiny creature disappeared the fog gathered in the center of the field then exploded outwards revealing Yubel. (0 ATK)

The demon gracefully landed on her feet, a wicked smile on her face.

Errol played another card which appeared face-down behind Yubel.

'I end my turn and tribute Treeborn Frog for Yubel's effect.' The frog got annihilated by Yubel before it even knew what happened.

'And now since I control Yubel I special summon Samsara D Lotus.'

The small flower creature reappeared next to Yubel. (0 ATK)

Qiana drew her card. 'I hold four of my pieces and one rests in my Graveyard.' A smirk formed on the Aldmer's face, quickly she played a card, it was Ritual of the Ultimate Forbidden Lord.

Black smoke started to pour out of Qiana without a warning an explosion of black smoke exploded out of her, her form changed into that of Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord. (?- 2000 ATK)

The two legs of Exodia laid dead next to Exodius indicating these two were now in the Graveyard. Three stone tablets appeared behind Exodius these were the cards Qiana had left.

'Armageddon Knight.' Exodius commanded with a droning voice, the warrior leaped at the Samsara D Lotus his sword ready to cleave the plant in half. 'I activate Call of the Earthbound.' Errol stated as his trap opened up, ghostly arms reached out from the ground grabbing Armageddon Knight. 'This cards lets me choose the attack target.' The Necromancer spoke, Yubel showed a devilish smile as her third eye opened, the ghost hands dragged Armageddon Knight towards Yubel, her third eye gleamed for a second, a beam of black magic shot through Armageddon Knight it violently struck Exodius on his chest leaving a burn mark.

(Errol: 6700) - (Soul of Exodia: 8000- 6600)

'Fine.' Exodius scoffed: 'I do it myself.' He rose his arm ready to cast a spell. 'I send my right arm to the Graveyard.'

Errol chuckled: 'You don't, I activate the effect of Samsara!' The small plant withered then crumbled.

'The activated effect now becomes destroy one Yubel on the field.'

Yubel let out a scream as black smoke exploded from her, slowly she changed into the hideous two-headed dragon she let out a loud roar that cleared the smoke around her. (0 ATK)

'I shall end my turn.' Exodius growled as he lowered his arm dispelling the spell he wanted to use.

Errol drew his card. 'Exodia, I shall teach you your mistake. Should have accepted my offer.' He played a card: 'I control a Fiend therefor I special summon Infernal Grave Squirmer.' A mummy came crawling out of the dirt on the sides of the street, he wore ragged shorts, his left arm wasn't covered in bandages, it was the claw of a wolf-like beast ending in sharp, red nails, the beast stood bent forward close to the ground ready to strike. (0 DEF)

'With the effect of Infernal Grave Squirmer I destroy Yubel!'

Once more black smoke poured out of the female demon slowly she changed into her final form, her many eyes all fixated on Exodius. (0 ATK)

'Attack.' Errol commanded, the dragon demon took to the sky, her eyes glowed she breath black flames down on Exodius, the flames scorched the mighty creature. 'Your monster's effect cannot destroy me mortal!' Exodius roared as the flames died out.

(Errol: 6700) - (Soul of Exodia: 6600- 4600)

'My turn.' Exodius spoke as a stone tablet rose behind him, he rose his hand, this time black lightning struck down the Infernal Grave Squirmer, the right arm of Exodia appeared next to both of the legs. (2000- 3000 ATK)

Then footsteps interrupted the two as two Duelist came charging in.

'You!' Errol laughed as he saw Jack, Juliet quickly took her position next to Jack.

'How nice of you to come to the slaughter Jack.' Errol laughed: 'Not only do I get to gain the power of an ancient demon, I also get the chance to finally end your life at the same time!' Jack said nothing as he activated his Duel Disk, his left eye glowed with a golden light, Juliet activated her Duel Disk and D-Gazer, since they intruded their life points got halved.

(Errol: 6700) - (Juliet: 4000 & Jack: 4000) - (Soul of Exodia: 4600)

Both Jack and Juliet drew five cards, they could not attack in their first turn.

Juliet was quick to take two cards from her hand she played them while Jack organized his hand, Juliet's cards were two face-down cards one of them being a monster.

After Juliet declared the end of her turn Jack played one of his cards, a face-down monster appeared.

Jack!' Errol roared as he drew his card, Yubel turned her attention to the Signer. 'Destroy that face-down monster!' As Yubel's eyes glowed Jack's face-down card disappeared and the orange Tuner Junk Synchron appeared crouched down, cowering in fear. (500 DEF)

'Yubel deals damage equal to that weakling's attack points.' Errol gloated a sharp pain shot through Jack's heart for a few seconds it stopped beating, with a deep breath Jack's heart started beating again.

(Errol: 6700) - (Juliet: 4000 & Jack: 4000- 2700) - (Soul of Exodia: 4600)

The moment Yubel was done she roared and Junk Synchron exploded.

'This will be an easy sacrifice!' Exodius roared, he rose his arm a black mist appeared around his hand which was aimed at Jack.

'Reborn Tengu!' Juliet shouted, one of her two face-down cards disappeared her bird creature leaped in front of the spell. (600 DEF)

The second arm of Exodia appeared next to the other limbs, Exodius got stronger. (3000- 4000 ATK)

Reborn Tengu got caught in the blast and violently exploded, a second one appeared in his place. (600 DEF)

'So you interfere with my sacrifice?' Exodius hissed: 'In that case I should take more.' He paused for a second: 'Rigorous actions.' The demon crossed his arms a black gate with two doors started to rise behind him, it was as big as a ten-story building decorated with many skulls and bones, two large skeletal, humanoid creatures were depicted on the middle of each door, their hands held one of the doorknobs each.

Errol looked away from Jack to see what was going on. 'A hell gate?' He muttered to himself. 'I have no interest in this.' Errol snapped his fingers Jack felt a surge of evil magic coursing through him as he suddenly shot into the air followed by his adversary both he and Errol landed seemingly in mid-air, Jack felt an invisible platform below his feet.

Back down Juliet was left with Exodius. 'That mortal was weak after all.' He then turned to Juliet: 'So I have to use you as a sacrifice instead.

(Juliet: 4000) - (Soul of Exodia: 4600)

Juliet drew her card since Exodius just had his, she knew she was in trouble. If her opponent attacked only once this meant the head of Exodia would be send to the Graveyard as well which means Exodius would win by default through his effect. 'So I have one turn to win this.' Juliet muttered as she looked over her hand. 'I've been in worse situations.'

The Signer quickly played a card. 'I summon Delta Flyer.' With a swoosh the small, mechanical dragon flew over, its blade-like wings were gleaming, it made a U-turn then landed behind Juliet. (1500 ATK)

'I increase the level of Reborn Tengu by one from four to five.'

Seconds later the green light that indicated a Synchro monster was coming illuminated the area. 'Darkness gathering into my very being, the blood of the red dragon coursing through my veins! Synchro summon! The soul of the demon king reborn! Red Dragon Archfiend!' Juliet chanted, a roar indicated the arrival of the mighty Signer Dragon, it slowly made its way towards the field over the rooftops of nearby buildings, finally it took a leap crashing down onto the street, fumes came out of its nose and maw. (3000 ATK) 'Since my second Reborn Tengu left the field I special summon my last one.' Juliet continued, her third Yokai monster appeared out of nowhere. (1700 ATK)

Juliet knew this was going to be risky. 'First I activate my face-down Ojama Trio!' With a loud popping noise the three, ugly creatures wearing their red underwear appeared on the side of Exodius. (1000 DEF x3)

Juliet said nothing as she played another card which appeared as a face-down card.

The Signer took a deep breath as she played another spell card, it was Mystic Box as the two boxes that magician often used appeared on the field one on each side, Red Dragon Archfiend disappeared into one of them, the Ojama Yellow Token disappeared into the one of the side of Exodius, swords then shot into the box on Juliet's field, when both boxes opened an impaled Ojama Yellow Token was in it while Red Dragon Archfiend was now on the side of Exodia.

With one Ojama Token destroyed some weak lightning struck Exodius.

(Juliet: 4000) - (Soul of Exodia: 4600- 4300)

'I end my turn.' Juliet stated she was nervous and she knew her opponent could see that.

'You giving up?' Exodius laughed as another stone tablet rose behind him, he brought his hands together charging his final energy ball. 'I only have to declare battle and I win.' The spirit laughed.

'Threatening Roar!' Juliet howled interrupting Exodius her Trap card opened up a loud roar echoed throughout the streets.

'What!' Exodius hissed.

'You cannot attack.' Juliet simply said.

Exodius' eyes narrowed then he unleashed a bloodcurdling howl.

'You finally realize.' Juliet said: 'With Red Dragon Archfiend all monsters that did not declare an attack are destroyed during the end of your turn. Your effect makes you invulnerable to card effects I activate, not your card effects. Threatening Roar does not affect Exodius, it prevents the Duelist from declaring an attack!'

Red Dragon Archfiend let out a roar as flames erupted around it, with one last unholy howl Exodius dissolved in a black fog that gathered around the gate of hell, slowly the doors started to open, then because the last two Ojama Tokens were destroyed as well lightning struck the gate twice, but the Signer Dragon had not succeeded in its goal yet, with incredible force it threw itself against the gates breaking them down, slowly the gate started to crumble and as it disappeared so did the magic that filled the streets. Were Exodius once stood now laid Qiana a black fog was still surrounding her, the influence of Exodius wasn't completely gone yet.

'This is where I finish it.' Juliet said as she drew her card.

(Juliet: 4000) - (Qiana: 4300- 4000- 3700)

Juliet was close to saving Qiana, she knew one good hit should do it, she first played the only card from her hand, a card she had added in her Side Deck: Pot of Extravagance. As the pot appeared on the field she randomly banished six of her Synchro monsters to draw two cards.

'This is good.' Juliet muttered to herself as she saw her cards.

Quickly she played one it was Enemy Controller, the controller connected to Red Dragon Archfiend, her Reborn Tengu disappeared and the Signer Dragon returned to her side.

At that time Qiana started to get up, her eyes were completely back. 'Mortal!' She hissed with a combination of her voice and that of Exodius.

'I know Exodius, time for you to be gone!' Juliet roared together with Red Dragon Archfiend a powerful blast from the Signer Dragon knocked Qiana back on the ground, this time it was different a black fog was mixed in with the flames of Red Dragon Archfiend, an unholy howl echoed throughout the city and just like that Exodius was gone.

(Juliet: 4000) - (Qiana: 3700- 700)

At least Juliet thought Exodius was gone, there was no way to be sure yet, instead she played another card, Red Dragon Archfiend disappeared into a flash of light, in its place appeared the blue-skinned Salvage Warrior with his green pants and yellow jacket. (1900 ATK)

Through the effect of Salvage Warrior, Delta Flyer was summoned again. (1500 ATK)

Qiana started to move again, her eyes slowly opened for her only to be welcomed by the green Synchro light, with a roar Hot Red Dragon Archfiend landed behind Juliet. (3000 ATK)

'Qiana?' Juliet carefully asked, the Aldmer let out a painful groan. 'I'm fine. I think.' She replied with her own voice.

'You know what happened?' Juliet asked.

'I always had control of Exodia, but being in a Duel against Violet, she pushed me, Exodia got excited and he overpowered me. I was conscious all the time but couldn't see through his eyes, I've been fighting him but I couldn't overpower him until you destroyed him.'

Juliet wanted to deactivate her Duel Disk Qiana stopped her.

'I am already disqualified, so the outcome of this Duel does not matter.'

Juliet showed a smile: 'No done yet are you?' She asked.

'I always had a vision for an Exodia Deck but I could never get it to work, but I think I do now.' Qiana's Deck glowed as she drew her card.

'I summon Exodia the Forbidden One.' She stated, Exodia's head appeared before them, his eyes were empty since the soul that possessed the cards was no more. (1000 ATK)

'I offer my monster as a tribute!' Qiana shouted, a white mist appeared through the streets, Juliet braced herself, then the sky broke open as a white light descended on Qiana.

'Don't worry Juliet, I sense Exodia, the anger within him has dispelled finally. I have a pact much like you and your Signer Dragon.'

A figure started to appear, it was Exodia, no alternate form the Exodia as he would appear when all five cards were gathered. (?- 5000 ATK)

'This is my Summoned God Exodia. Exodia manifested as a monster, for each Forbidden One card in my Graveyard Exodia gains thousand attack points.'

Exodia brought his hands together a giant laser obliterated Hot Red Dragon Archfiend.

(Juliet: 4000- 2000) - (Qiana: 700)

Juliet was impressed, there was magic but controlled, Exodia and Qiana worked together, Juliet was glad this ordeal was over.

'Next I activate Dark Factory of Mass Production twice.' Qiana played the two spell cards quickly. 'I move all limbs of Exodia to my hand.' She explained as she retrieved the arms and legs, the Exodia on the field got weaker. (5000- 1000 ATK)

'And now I end my turn which means I can move a Forbidden One monster from my graveyard to my hand.'

Juliet noticed the drones flying around them, their Duel was being recorded, or at least the end of it.

'Qiana.' Juliet said to point out the drones: 'Duban might be a Dwemer and your enemy, he still is a Duelist at heart. Exodia has been tarnished throughout history, in the majority of the times he was summoned was because of cheating. Anthony even did it during this tournament.'

Qiana smiled as she retrieved Exodia's head. 'Yes!' She shouted: 'I am an Exodia Duelist and let this be prove that not all Exodia Duelists are rotten cheaters!' Exodia started to charge his beam. 'Exxod Flame!' Qiana roared Juliet let the attack wash over her.

(Juliet: X) - (Qiana: 700)

While Jack was up at the invisible platform something caught his eye, he knew Juliet was fighting way down below but this had also caught Errol's eyes. Two of the Machine Emperors rose withing the city area and the docks.

Kamdida stood on the rooftop of a warehouse, her two opponents stood with their backs to the dirty water of the docks, Skiel hovered menacingly over the water, Skiel Attack was upgraded twice making it more powerful. (3600 ATK)

Kamdida's opponents were the last two members of the Japanese team, Duban wanted to bring the tournament down to only ten Duelists.

Goro had a complex strategy meant to Deck-out Kamdida, with only a few cards Kamdida had dismanteled the entire strategy but she was left with no card in her Deck, it was her turn currently and she only had this turn before she would lose due to a Deck-out.

Goro only had one face-down spell or trap left and no more monsters. His partner Azumi had put up quite a fight but she now only had her Gagaga Cowboy left in defense position. (2400 DEF: 0 ORU)

(Kamdida: 6400) - (Goro: 500 & Azumi: 3000)

Kamdida looked at the weird, cannon-like machine on her field, her Wave-Motion Cannon she had activated last turn now had one charge on it.

'Skiel!' Kamdida roared, the Machine Emperor took aim at Gagaga Cowboy. 'With Skiel Attack 5 all monster I control can attack directly!' Skiel's aim went from Gagaga Cowboy directly to Azumi.

'I activate Gravity Bind!' Goro roared as his last face-down card opened up. A blue orb appeared in mid-air casting a green net over Skiel.

Kamdida smiled: 'Skiel is a level one monster, your Gravity Bind does not work!' Skiel took to the skies shattering the orb as it went, the green net disappeared, with one shot the mighty machine took out Azumi.

'And now Wave-Motion Cannon!' Kamdida roared as she went into her second main phase, the weird cannon fired a laser taking out Goro as well.

(Kamdida: 6400) - (Goro: 500- 0 & Azumi: 3000- 0)

Ghard was facing down the other two members or Errol's team, he caught them near the place where Errol was disqualified for attacking Jack. The Dark Elf Derkith and the Argonian Nuraree.

He had Wisel out and had replaced Wisel Attack by Wisel Attack 5 and two face-down cards behind his Machine Emperor. (3300 ATK)

Nuraree had just summoned her most powerful monster: Evil Dragon Ananta she had it summoned by banishing five monsters, the eight headed creature's heads were all fixated on Wisel, venom dripping from their maws. (?- 3000 ATK)

An attack was called by Nuraree but Ghard had stopped that with Negate Attack.

Derkith had tried to fend off Wisel for a bit leaving him low on resources with only a face-down monster remaining.

(Ghard: 8000) - (Derkith: 500 & Nuraree: 3000)

'I end my turn and thanks to Ananta I can now destroy one of your cards and I choose the main body of the machine of yours!'

Ghard laughed: 'That would have destroyed Wisel, but I activate My Body as a Shield!' The Dwemer's face-down spell opened up. Ghard's life points decreased a bit then an explosion erupted around Ananta taking it out in an instant.

(Ghard: 8000- 6500) - (Derkith: 3500 & Nuraree: 2000)

Ghard drew his card. 'I activate Ceasefire.' Ghard's face-down trap opened up. 'First your face-down monster is flipped face-up.'

Derkith's card disappeared and made place for the purple blob that was Giant Germ. (100 DEF)

'Now you take five-hundred points of damage for each effect monster on the field, a grand total of six!' Wisel fired a volley of missiles that hit all around his two opponents. 'Direct attack!' Ghard roared as another volley homed in on Derkith.

(Ghard: 6500) - (Derkith: 3500- 500- 0 & Nuraree: 2000- 0)

When the Machine Emperors disappeared Jack knew enough, several Duelists were defeated, his tablet gave a notification Jack took it only to see that ten Duelists were remaining. 'He himself, Juliet and Leo from The Blades, Na'eemah, Dalilah and Tiye from Destiny's Duelists, Duban, Ghard and Kamdida from The New Government and Mae from The Old Order.

Jack put away his tablet. 'I have no time for you Errol.' Jack stated, his Deck started to glow as he drew his card.

(Jack: 2700) - (Errol: 6700)

Jack took a glance at Yubel. 'The real Yubel would be angry and ashamed if she saw this display. I shall bring some honor back to her by destroying this abomination!'

Jack discarded his Quillbolt Hedgehog, in a flash of light the jester The Tricky appeared. (2000 ATK)

'Next I activate Monster Reborn!' The Ankh appeared in the middle of the field, Junk Synchron appeared under the symbol. (1300 ATK)

The sky was lit up by the green Synchro light, it was visible throughout the entire city.

'Gathering stars light the way to my destiny, soul of the ancient dragon reborn! Synchro Summon! Shine, Stardust Dragon!' Jack chanted, seconds later his mighty dragon started circling around the invisible platforms. (2500 ATK)

Jack's right hand rested on the knob of his sword. 'I can't be disqualified Errol because this Duel ain't part of the tournament.' In a fluid motion Jack drew his sword. '

A tiny shimmer of light appeared before him as the purple Majestic Dragon materialized. (0 ATK)

'Since I control a Tuner I special summon Quillbolt Hedgehog.' The orange creature appeared curled up in a ball. (800 DEF)

Jack rose his sword light erupted from all of his monsters.

'Gathering stars light the way to my destiny, when the dark is everlasting, all hope defeated. A shimmer of light becomes the seed of hope! Burn bright and become the beacon of the future! Shooting Majestic Star Dragon!' Jack roared a beam of light shot down from the heavens striking the blade of his sword, immediately a holy light enhanced the weapon making the blade as large as Errol was, Jack still wielded the weapon with ease. Behind him appeared the form of a dragon made out of the same holy light that enhanced his weapon, the form resembled Majestic Star Dragon, due to the light Errol couldn't clearly make out the form. (4000 ATK)

'Shooting Majestic Star Dragon negates the effect of one monster on your field Errol, Yubel is powerless!' The mighty, black, two-headed dragon got struck by divine light forming chains around her body.

'Also for each card that is Stardust Dragon or a Synchro monster that lists Stardust Dragon my Shooting Majestic Star Dragon can attack twice!'

Jack took a mighty leap clearly enhanced by magic, the dragon behind him fired a beam of pure light with a final howl Yubel was obliterated in mere seconds. Then with an overhead slam Jack brought the sword down on Errol, it was the divine light that cut Errol, Jack's sword itself wasn't strong enough to pierce the Dwemer steel, on the outside was no visible damage. The Dwemer construct seemed fine at first, then Errol staggered backwards as cracks appeared over the mechanical body, two explosions ripped through the body mangling most of it, one last time Errol looked down on Jack, before he could say anything flames erupted from one of the holes one of the explosions had created, with a third explosion Errol took another step backwards, his body locked up and he tumbled off of his platform. It took roughly a minute before Errol's mangled and destroyed Dwemer body hit the ground leaving a large crater where he landed, black smoke came out of several holes in the construct which was no longer moving.

When Jack had used his magic to safely land on the ground he was near Na'eemah, the mechanical body of Errol laid in the crater, his clothes were burned away the body had black burn marks all over but outside of the holes the explosion caused from within it was still intact.

'Glad that's over with.' Jack scoffed before he turned to Na'eemah, then Juliet and Qiana came from behind a building, they had been hiding there because Juliet had figured Jack would try to destroy Errol and that he might come falling down.

'Qiana has embraced Exodia, she cleansed the hatred from him and they now work together.' Juliet gave a brief report.

'I did win though.' Qiana added as a tease.

'Glad to see you're alright.' Jack said he then turned to Na'eemah: 'We exist to deal with a crisis like this. I'm just glad nobody got hurt and all things considered.' He looked over at Errol: 'I managed to deal with that problem because of Exodius, so I will let this slide on one condition.' A devious smile formed on his face. 'I want to go face-to-face with Ra now.'

Na'eemah got serious again: 'I take it you want to do this now? No last Duelist standing?'

Jack shook his head: 'Only ten Duelist remain, we end this right now either we face the Dwemer or you do.'

The Aldmer looked at her two remaining team members. 'Why though? Let us deal with the Dwemer, we can seal them away immediately.'

Jack activated his Duel Disk: 'I still need Duban, he has a device here that seals magic, if I want a chance of beating Tamamo I need that device, I need to Duel Duban because I know I can turn him around.'

Leo and Juliet readied their Duel Disks as well.

'Whatever you have against the Dwemer is because of Sabrina, she died in the aftermath of the Earthbound God attacks, I was there when she died, Duban has since then broken all contact with Sabrina's contacts and allies as soon as he legally could. Him and I don't see eye-to-eye on our ways of dealing with the Aware and Unaware people. I believe The New Government can help with this, his methods are flawed and so are those of The Blades, we're not even in politics. If Duban and I can get a thing working that benefits everyone we can eliminate a lot of strife.'

Jack looked Na'eemah directly in her eyes: 'This is why I need Duban, you can now let me do this my way or you can stay stubborn to your ideals.'

The Aldmer let out a sigh: 'Dwemer are a race of warmongers, this will go wrong one way or another.' She replied.

'Na'eemah this is incredibly shortsighted, I believe that Duban can break away from those ways, Sabrina was a warmonger in that regard wanting to raise an army. Duban has common sense, though his sense is now clouded because things don't seem to go his way, he is a proud man and he can't deal with his pride being challenged by me. I beat him and I know he can break through that.'

Jack started to walk towards the skyscraper he knew they would want to broadcast this Duel. 'You want Duban Na'eemah? You have to crush me first.' He then turned to Leo and Juliet: 'The two of you deal with Tiye and Dalilah but we honor the wishes of Na'eemah, no tag-teams.'

With only ten Duelists left spread over four teams the final battle officially starts. Na'eemah and Jack both want to challenge Duban for different reasons so the Blades have to get past her first. Tamamo is the sole member of the fourth team and after her struggle against Rini she is still recovering. This gives Jack the time he needs to get Duban to activate his device that would drain Tamamo of magic, currently the only way Jack sees he would be able to win. ''To Face a God'' Coming next.
