A.n I own Nothing
Sorry, I've been away, I hurt my wrist and it's been in a cast for the last three weeks. It has made writing very difficult, on top of that my mum was in a car accident and will be in the hospital for the next 3 months with a broken neck. So updates may be slow for a while.

Connor stared at the man in front of him in shock; he looked past the man to see his sword still out of reach and then looked at Blunos unmoving form.
"My eyes?" Connor asked.
Ezio nodded. Connor gulped in fear.
"I…I don't know what you're talking about," Connor tired.
"Don't try to lie to me, it doesn't work," Ezio warned.
Connor reacted by backing up a bit and the man did not seem to be too concerned with the boy trying to get some distance.
"Out of all the places to find you, I never would have dreamed it would be here…then again I given my family tree, I'm not one to talk," Ezio sighed.
"M…Me?" Connor asked.
"Well not you specifically, someone with your gift," he clarified.
"I don't have a gift," Connor insisted "I'm nobody,"
"Didn't I just tell you not to lie to me?" Ezio asked. He then bent down and poked Connor in the chest with his finger "I saw your eyes. I don't know what you think you were doing using them on this Island, your lucky none of the men on this Island saw you,"
Connor opened his mouth to respond but suddenly a familiar scream filled the air.
"AGHHHHHHHHHH!"
Connor looked around for the source; Ezio on the other hand groaned and shook his head. He turned to face the centre of the battlement and a second later something crashed onto the roof. When the dust cleared Luffy was standing there.
"Alright I made it!" Luffy declared loudly.
Connor and Ezio stared at Luffy as the rubber captain took a moment to notice Bluno and the damage done to the top of the battlement.
"HEY, THAT'S THAT ASSHOLE WHO TOOK ROBIN!" Luffy cried, he then noticed Bluno "wait his ass has been kicked…who kicked his ass?"
"Luffy," Connor called out.
Luffy looked up to see Connor.
"Hi Connor," Luffy waved, he then noticed Ezio standing in front of the boy "Huh…Hey, who are you?"
"Saluti, Monkey D Luffy. My name is Ezio Auditore," Ezio introduced.
"Um, how do you know my name?" Luffy asked.
"I heard about you from my…associates," Ezio said "I believe you know my partner Altair,"
Luffy stared at Ezio for a second and then a big grin formed on his face.
"Your friends with Alty,"
Ezio nearly choked as he held back his own laughter at the name, he could imagine Altair's face upon being called that. He made mental note to tell Malik and call the other mentor Alty when he got back…although Altair would most likely kill him for it.
"Ehm…yes I am, he informed me that you and he fought Crocodile together,"
"Oh yeah, we did that. Alty's a really strong fighter," Luffy said happily "I didn't see him after the fight, was he alright?"
"He was yes," Ezio assured "though he was more annoyed than usual,"
"Ah that's a relief, I was worried about him. I'm glad he's okay," Luffy said. He then looked at Connor
"Oi Connor, did you beat up this guy?" Luffy asked and gestured to Bluno.
"Luffy I didn't beat Bluno, he did," Connor claimed and pointed at Ezio.
"Really?" Luffy asked in shock.
"Si, he was bulling this young boy. So I stepped in," Ezio claimed.
"Oh you're a good guy then," Luffy said.
"I think so…although he did chase me throughout the town," Connor commented.
"Oh, bad guy…let's fight," Luffy demanded.
"Hold on, I was concerned about his safety," Ezio defended "I followed him because I was concerned about what a child was doing on a government Island,"
"Ok, good guy," Luffy concluded.
"But he saw my eyes and was threatening me," Connor spoke again.
"Bad guy," Luffy responded angrily.
"I was trying to help," Ezio explained "I'm not part of the government,"
"Good guy, Bad guy…which is it?" Luffy asked confused.
"Umm…neither," Ezio tried.
"Hmm…Okay, I get it," Luffy said.
"You…do?" Ezio asked. He was unsure if he believed Luffy or not.
"Yeah you're a good bad guy," Luffy concluded.
Connor faced palmed and let out a groan. Ezio stared at Luffy and then stroked his beard thoughtfully.
"A good bad guy huh…" Ezio said with a slight smile.
"Wait…you like that name?" Connor asked.
Ezio looked down at the boy again he gave a playful smirk. He was about to say something but his head snapped in the direction of the tower of justice and stared up at it for a second.
"Merda," he swore and dashed past Connor towards the nearest wall and pressed his back against it.
Connor and Luffy gave Ezio confused looks.
"What are you…" Connor started.
"SHHHH!" Ezio used "I don't want to be seen here,"
"Why not?" Luffy asked.
Seeing as Ezio was taking cover, Connor took the opportunity to stand up and retrieve his sword, he then moved to stand near Luffy. They both looked up at the balcony above and a second later Franky burst out carrying Robin by his legs.
"Hey, it's Robin," Luffy cheered.
Connor and Luffy watched as Freaky landed on a safety gate, Franky's chains were broken as a result.
"Alright, my chains broke," Franky said happily "Good thing they weren't Sea Stone,"
Unfortunately, the gate they were on started to bend and creek. The weight of Franky's body and along with the sudden shock and force from his escape was too much for the gate to handle. It tipped over the edge.
Franky grabbed Robin again, this time carrying her under his arm and jumped back to the safety of the balcony before they could fall into the waterfall below.
"Well that was a bust, at least my chains broke," Franky sighed, he then looked over to the courthouse "If I had more cola I could get us to the other side with another coup-de-boo,"
"Hey Robin," Luffy called and waved his hands "We came to rescue you,"
Franky looked down and noticed Luffy was standing on one of the battlements on top of the courthouse with Connor next to him.
"Oh it's Straw Hat," Franky said, he then looked at Robin "This is great, he's your captain right? Tell him to come and get us so we can get out of here,"
Robin, however, didn't respond. She merely stared down and Luff and Connor with of relief, sorrow, regret, and pain in her eyes.
"Hmm…maybe she can't hear us," Luffy contemplated.
"No, look. Franky is waving back," Connor pointed out. Franky was indeed waving back at them. "Can you stretch all the way up there and pull them down?" Connor asked.
"It's beyond my reach….Oh. I'll just use Gumo-Gumo Rocket to get there," Luffy said. He jumped down and ran to the other side of the battlements and prepared to launch himself up to the top of the Tower of Justice.
"WAIT!" Robin shouted.
Luffy stopped and looked back up at her. Connor also looked up at Robin, Ezio subtlety moved and risked peeking out from his cover; however, Robin was more focused on Luffy and Connor so he assumed that she had not spotted him.
"How many times do I have to tell you I am not going with you," Robin shouted angrily "I don't want to travel with you anymore. Go back….I hate you all so much that can't even bear the sight of you,"
"Robin…hates us?" Connor asked confused.
"Why did you come here? I didn't ask you to save me! I don't want to be saved and I would never wish to be saved by any of you!" Robin continued.
"She's lying," Ezio commented.
Connor glanced down to where Ezio was hiding and Luffy also looked straight at Ezio after hearing his comment and then he looked back up at Robin.
"I only want to Die! SO go away and leave me to die in peace!" Robin shouted.
Luffy's face turned to horror upon hearing Robin saying that, he looked up at her unsure whether to believe her or not.
Franky having herd everything robin said ran over to her.
"Oi, what the hell are you doing?" Franky demanded, "They came all this way to recuse you and you say you don't want it?"
"They did that on their own," Robin huffed "I never wanted them to come,"
"But without them, we won't get out of here alive," Franky argued, "and now that idiot Spandam knows there here neither will they?"
"That is not my problem," Robin responded.
Franky was going to argue more however he was kicked in the head by Kaku as he and another man walked out onto the balcony. He was clapping and had a very disturbing smile on his face.
The man was a pale and of slim stature with wavy, wild lavender hair in a layered style that is roughly shoulder-length and parted in the middle. He wore a brown studded leather mask which covered the bridge of his nose and scars on his moderately high forehead just above his eyebrows.
He was wearing a long-sleeved light grey shirt decorated with a diagonal squiggle pattern below his vest with the collar turned up, a black high-collared leather vest with matching pants separated by a studded belt and long brown leather gloves. He has white shoes with brown tassels extending from their heels.
The man looked down at the scene before him and noticed Bluno who was still lying on the roof of the courthouse.
"GAHHHHH WHAT DID YOU DO!" the man cried out in panic.
"Huh?" Luffy asked.
"Oi EVERYONE GET OUT HERE! STRAW HAT IS HERE AND HE TOOK DOWN BLUNO!"
"Wait I didn't…" Luffy tired. However, he did not finish the sentence as Lucci and Kalifa walked out onto the balcony with three others that Luffy had never seen before.
The first new face was a dark-skinned man, with a Fu Manchu mustache, a pointed goatee, and long hair braided in a thick queue, that somewhat resembles a scorpion's tail. He also has a scar running diagonally down his left eye. He wore small, pointed sunglasses on his forehead, small hoop earrings, and a black-tie over his bare chest. A black tangzhuang, that was white down the middle and always open and a red sash around his waist over black pants and shoes.
The second person the crew did not recognise was a man with a large frame, huge mane of pinkish hair, and a right eye that rarely seems to be open. Like other CP9 agents, he wore a black suit, black pants, black shoes, and a black shirt and a green tie. He also wore handguards covering the backs of his hands that were tied around his palm.
The last new face was a big, round, oddly-shaped man with a zipper across his mouth. He dresses in black formal wear and has green, well-groomed hair, purple dimples on his cheeks and strands of hair on his chin.
Luffy glared up at them and he started walking forward and climbed back onto the battlement. A serious and dangerous atmosphere settled over the group as Luffy stood definitely on the battlements matching the gaze of the CP9 agents.
"So that is Straw Hat Luffy….he doesn't look like much," the dark-skinned man claimed.
"They are not," Lucci stated.
"Yoi Yoi…he did beat Bluno though," the pink-haired man pointed out.
"By mere fluke alone," Lucci claimed "he has done nothing but tend to a bar for 5yrs after all,"
"Right, his skills have probably dulled in that time," Kaku agreed.
"We can't have any weak links in our group;" Kalifa said "We'd be better off replacing him,"
"Hey chief Spandam," the dark-skinned man started "shouldn't we just go down there and eliminate them?"
"Now that would be too easy. Think about it, this pirate has invaded a government Island to save someone dear to them…Only to find out that a person does do not want to be saved and that by coming here he has doomed his entire crew. can you think of a more interesting sight?"
"Actually…"
"I wonder what is going on in his mind. How to hurt he must be, how confused he must be…surly his expression will be priceless," The purple-haired man now Identified as Spandam said.
He looked down eagerly to see Luffy's face. Only to find the Rubber captain picking his nose and having no interest in what Spandam was saying.
"Huh, who are you. Don't interrupt, it's rude," Luffy said.
"WHY IS HE PICKING HIS NOSE!" Spandam yelled.
"Robin, I don't care if you want to live or not," Luffy started "But we came all this way just for you,"
But the rubber captain was interrupted when the roof behind him started to crack and a large gust of spiral of energy bust through. Connor turned to look behind him and Ezio's jaw dropped.
As the roof was blown away, two figures were also thrown out of the building as they had been unlikely enough to be caught in it. Nami and Chopper landed nearby. Once the energy spiral stopped Zoro climbed out of the hole.
"That's better, should have just done this in the first place," Zoro commented.
"Zoro," Connor said happily.
"Hey, Luffy, Kid," Zoro greeted.
Nami and Chopper landed a moment later, only Namis landing was grateful though as Chopper fell on his head in his Human form.
"Zoro…," Nami said in a dark tone, once she straightened up. She then walked over to the swordsmen and hit him over the head with her weapon.
"What is your problem woman?!" Zoro yelled.
"YOU GOT LOST IN THE COURTHOUSE AND THEN YOU NEARLY KILL US WITH THAT STUNT!" Nami yelled.
"Shut up, we were in a hurry and your directions were too complicated,"
"I said go up the stairs…there was only one set of stairs," Nami screamed "how is that complicated,"
Chopper wisely decided to stay out of this argument.
"Hey, you lot…stop destroying government property," the man on the balcony screamed.
Zoro Nami and Chopper all looked up to see the pale-haired man standing there.
"Who's that?" Zoro asked.
"Don't know," chopper responded he then looked around "Hey where's Sanji?"
As if on cue another part of the roof burst open and Sanji flew out of the debris and landed in a dashing pose with his eyes closed.
"Ah I am the fires to arrive, I shall clear the way for Nami-swan," he said happily.
"Oi cook, you're late," Zoro said unimpressed.
Upon hearing Zoro's voice Snaji's eyes snapped open. He spied the swordsmen with Nami, Chopper, Connor, and Luffy. He also noticed Ezio was pressed up against the battlement wall.
"Oi, how the hell did you get here first?" Sanji demanded as he marched over to Zoro.
"Wasn't hard, you clearly go lost on the way up," Zoro claimed. While giving Sanji a knowing look.
The cook's eyes twitched.
"I do not want to hear that from you," he yelled back.
"Well you were talking too long so I lead Nami and Chopper here," Zoro huffed.
"LIKE HELL YOU DID!" Sanji screamed and Nami hit Zoro on the head again.
"US GETTING CAUGHT IN YOUR ATTACK IS NOT LEADING US UP HERE!" Nami screamed.
Luffy just laughed at his crews' antics and then a screaming the crew looked to see Sogeking fly through the air with a very panicked look on his face.
"HE CAN FLY!" Chopper cried out in awe, he had stars in his eyes.
"It's the cape, it has to be the cape," Luffy said "it gives him his powers,"
'No…just no,' Nami, Sanji, Zoro, and Connor all thought of once.
"You alright?" Chopper asked.
"Of course," Sogeking said and instantly jumped up "Broken bones from being thrown by a giant into the air and then falling to the ground at terminal velocity will not stop me,"
"Yeah that's the spirit," Chopper cheered "you're amazing,"
Spandam looked at the Straw Hat crew and started shaking in fear and rage.
"So many….they just keep coming," he said fearfully "why didn't out highly trained marines stop them? Why didn't the giants?"
Zoro looked over at Luffy and noticed the Rubber Captain was staring up at the tower with a very serious look on his face. The rest of the crew followed his gaze and saw that Kaku, Lucci, Kelifa and two others had come out and stood on the balcony. They were all looking down at them as if waiting for them to finish.
Zoro walked forward and climbed and stood on the battlement next to the one Luffy was standing on. He looked up with narrowed eyes as he assisted the CP9 agents above him.
The rest of the crew followed Zoros' lead. Nami stood next to Zoro with her staff next to her, Sogeking stood next to Luffy with his strange yet overly large slingshot at the ready. Chopper and Sanji and Chopper stood on the battlement with Connor in between them. Chopper was in his human form while Sanji was lighting a cigarette.
Each one of the straw hats looked up Cp9 with determination in their eyes, they were not leaving without Robin, if it came to a fight, none of them had any plans to lose either.
"So that's them," Zoro stated.
"Yep," Luffy responded.
"How are we going to get over there?" Connor asked.
"The Draw bridge," Sanji answered "the Franky family are working on lowering it. Once it's down we'll storm the castle and rescue Robin-chawn,"
"She not a princess in a tower-like some fairy tale," Zoro muttered under his breath. Though nobody herds him.
"Oi Robin," Luffy shouted "I really don't care whether you asked us here or not, I don't care if you want to die or how you throw your life away. But if you're going to say those types of things and expect us to listen then you say them by our sides,"
"Only then will we listen to you," Luffy claimed.
Robin stared at the crew; it appeared that they were not going to leave no matter what. She, however, turned away. Spandam looked at the Straw hats and their determination sent a shiver down his spine, it was if these pirates didn't truly understand how hopeless it was to fight against the government.
However, he quickly surprised his fear and turned to CP9.
"Hey CP9, I give you permission to annihilate them. Kill them all in the most brutal and horrible way," Spandam ordered.
"Finally," the dark-skinned man said eagerly "you should have just ordered us to do that from the start,"
"But do it from the Tower of justice. My life and the promotion I will get from bringing in Nico Robin are your first priority," Spandam said.
"Ughh….you mean we have to wait for them to come here?" the man with the long hair groaned "Would you make up your mind. Do you even want these pirates dead?"
"Of course I do, but if you guys go down there who's going to protect me?" Spandam said.
"Wait so…there leader is a weakling who relies on the powers of the other CP9 members?" Sogeking asked confused.
"Looks like it," Nami agreed.
Spandam turned and looked down at the pirates in anger.
"I am not so weak," Spandam declared "It is you who are weak ones,"
"You pirates have no chance, I control CP9, some of the most deadliest Assassins the government has. I have Nico Robin bound in chains, we have the heavily Gates of Justice. Something which criminals like you would be impossible to open," Spandam boasted confidently "But most importantly I have this,"
Spandam pulled out a golden Den-Den Mushi; he held it up high for all to see.
"This golden Den-Den Mushi is the authority to call upon the Marines greatest weapon, the Buster Call," Spandam declared.
Robins' eyes widened in fear when she saw what Spandam held in his hand.
"One click of the button on the top and a fleet of Marine battleships will come to any Island that it's activated on…or any target," Spandam added while looking at the Straw Hats.
"No stop, you don't have to do that," Robin cried out "I don't want to go back, I came willingly. You don't need to use that,"
"Oh?" Spandam looked over at Robin and a sick and greedy look appeared on his face.
"That's a nice reaction, I like it when people get scared and beg. But I suppose that is to be expected, after all, it completely destroyed your homeland of Ohara," Spandam claimed.
"Robin's homeland?" Chopper asked.
Luffy remembered when he agreed to let Robin join his crew; she had said that she had no home to go to or any place she could call home. Was this what she meant? Was her home really destroyed by the government?
"Ohara….wait as in the schoolers of Ohara?" Ezio thought "the Island that was said to have people who studied and could read Ponyglpghs?"
"Do you even know what will happen if you push that button?" Robin tired.
"Of course," Spandam answered sadistically "If I use this the chance of the straw hats leaving this place will be Zero. They will die since they have no way to escape; you, me and CP9 will leave the Island safely leaving it burning in flames,"
Spandam turned to look back to look at the Straw Hats.
"I wonder if we will hear there screams slowly die as we sail away….could be fun to listen too," Spandam said with a sadistic tone "Lets press it and when they start screaming I'll record it so you can listen to their cries of pain and anguish over and over every single night,"
"YOU CAN'T! DON'T YOU KNOW IF YOU PRESS THAT BUTTON ENIS LOBBY WILL BE ANILTATED FROM THE WORLD ITSELF!" Robin shouted, "EVERYONE ON IT WILL INCLUDING YOU AND CP9 WILL BE KILLED!"
"True…but you will be the one to blame. After all, it will be your fault, you're the devil's child and you're the one they came to save. If you didn't exist then they would not be here now," Spandam claimed "and besides, we would not be harmed by an ally attack. We're the good guys,"
"Your wrong, how many government agents and Marines were on Ohara 20yrs ago? Do you know? Did your records even record their names?" Robin asked.
"Don't be ridiculous, the only government agent on pharaoh was the one who used the Buster call, his two bodyguards and Admiral Adjiko," Spandam claimed "no one else was there,"
"That's because they were wiped out after the Buster Call destroyed Ohara. The World government erased everyone who was there from history. The names of those who lived there, the marines and agents who were on the island at the time…in fact, I know that only 4 people avoided that fate and one of them Admiral Adjiko,"
"Anyone who had friends or any kind of contact with Ohara was found and killed; even those who did not live on the Island. If you use the Buster Call here the world government will erase you from history too, they've done it before and they will do it again," Robin claimed "Why do you think they put a bounty on the only survivor when I was eight years old? They wanted to erase me too,"
Robin then turned to look at the Straw Hats.
"And now that power and that horrifying weapon is pointed at the crew I love the most," Robin said "I won't let it be used against them. I won't have them erased from this world,"
"No matter how much I may want to keep traveling with you, or how far I sail my fate bears its fangs at you. Because my enemy is one that cannot be defeated. My enemy is the world itself and all the darkness in it," Robin continued.
"I've already involved you twice in this, first with Adjiko and now with CP9. I know this will keep going on forever. No matter how kind you are, you will one day see me as too much of a burden and I abandon or betray me,"
"That's what scares me the most and that's why I don't want you to save me. If you're just going to throw me away then I would rather die right here, right now," Robin finished desperately.
The Straw Hats stared up at her processing what Robin had just said. Robin waited for any kind of response but the crew just stared at her without saying a word.
'I know how she feels,' Connor thought and he glanced over at Luffy 'but she's wrong, Luffy would never do that…none of us would,'
"So that's what this is all about," Zoro said softly, breaking the silence.
Spandam looked at Robin and then back at the crew. A sick smile formed and he burst out laughing.
"HA HA HA HA HA HA…THAT'S RIGHT YOU ARE A BURDEN!" Spandam Hollard "No one who has met you would ever think your anything but a burden,"
This was no longer about bragging or, this was about one thing; Robins humiliation. Spandam would humiliate her, berate her and do whatever it took to prove that Robin was, in fact, the Devil that the world believed her to be.
And he was going to make sure that she believed it too and he would use CP9 to take down or kill anyone who offered her help or said otherwise.
"Look up at that Flag Pirates," Spandam declared and pointed above him.
On the roof of the Tower of Justice, the emblem of the World Government was printed on a white flag that was blowing in the wind. Luffy and his crew all tilted their heads to look at it.
"Do you have any Idea who is chasing this woman?" Spandam asked "it's the whole world,"
"The world government is made of over 170 counties and supported by countless islands around the world," Spandam claimed "her mere existence has caused the death of hundreds of people and even destroyed her home Island,"
"She is a devil, she has no right to live nor has she done anything that would make her life worth living, she deserves to die," Spandam declared "the whole world is against her. Do you even understand what that means?"
"I get it," Luffy said "now I understand just who Robin's enemy truly is,"
"If you understand then you know what will happen next," Robin said sadly.
"Yes…Sogeking," Luffy started.
Robin closed her eyes and mentally braced herself for what Luffy was about to say to her. Now that he and the others knew the truth they would agree with Spandam, they would turn their backs on her and leave.
Robin just prayed that Spandam would let them go and that the pain she would feel from being abandoned by the Straw hats would be enough to sate him.
"Make that flag burst into flames," Luffy finished.
"Huh?" Spandam asked.
'Wait…what did he just say?' Robin thought as her eyes snapped open.
"Right," Sogeking responded.
Obeying Luffy he readied a massive circler slingshot and drew back the nub, it was supported by five short very fine but strong rope.
"Behold the Sniper Kings signature weapon. The Kabuto," Sogeking announced "Behold its unrivaled might,"
"SURE KILL FIREBIRD STAR!" Sogeking shouted and he fired the mighty Kabuto. A blaze of flame shot forth from the slingshot and sored through the sky taking the shape of a large bird.
Despite the wind, the firebirds path did not deviate and it hit its target dead center. The world government's flag burst into flames and a fiery shockwave spread across the Island for all to see. The Straw hats did not even flinch as the fire spread across the sky; they stood there with pure detention on their faces.
Franky smirked.
Robin stared up at the burning flag in shock, she could not believe that the straw hats had just made the whole world government their enemy and they had done it all for her. Spandam cried in fear as he knew full well of the significance of what happened, even the static members of CP9 were shocked. None of them had expected the Straw Hats to react like that.
"Done," Sogeking said.
"Y…Y…YOU JUST SHOT THE FLAG," Spandam shouted.
"Yes, unlike us it was an easy target," Sogeking responded.
Spandam didn't know whether to angrier at Sogeking for insulting him or setting the flag alight.
"DO YOU REALISE WHAT YOU'VE DONE! YOU STRAW HATS HAVE JUST DECLARED WAR AGAINST THE ENTIRE WORLD!" Spandam claimed, "DO YOU HONESTLY THINK YOU'LL SURVIVE THAT!"
"BRING IT ON!" Luffy challenged.
This cause Spandam to flinch and he nearly fell off the Tower of Justice.
"I don't need the world, all I need is a ship, the open ocean, and my crew," Luffy said seriously. He then looked directly into Robins' eyes "All of my crew,"
"Robin, I still haven't heard it from you. Say that you want to come back, say that you still want to sail with us…SAY THAT YOU WANT TO LIVE!" Luffy shouted.
Robin stared at the burning flag in shock; she could not believe what was happing. Tears started to fall from her eyes uncontrollably as everything finally sank in.
She had been alone for so long, everyone she met had either used her and betrayed her the moment they found out who she was. Everyone had abandoned her; she thought back to her childhood. Someone had once told her that no one is ever alone on the sea, that somewhere out on the ocean there she would find true friends. People who would stand by her no matter what.
Robin had never found them and she had long given up hope of ever finding them. Since everybody she met had told her she didn't deserve to live or the world would be better if she had died. But now staring in front of her were the people she had desperately searched for when she was younger. Robin honestly didn't know why she didn't see it before.
She glanced at Spandam who was still in shock, realising that she would unlikely get another chance.
"Yes…yes, I want to go back," Robin said softly "so please…please…"
"I WANT TO LIVE! TAKE ME BACK OUT TO SEA WITH YOU!" Robin shouted tearfully at the top of her lungs.
"Well since you asked so nicely," Luffy said with a confident smile "Leave it to us,"
Ezio merely smiled. Having witnessed and herd the whole conversation he could not help but let a confidant smile form on his face. He had seen what the Straw Hats had done to Alabaster and despite the fact he himself was eager to get off Enis Lobby, he could not help but feel compelled to stay
"Things are about to get interesting," he commented under his breath.
Enis Lobby, Town Square
Kokoro sat on the ground leaning up against the overturned Rocket Man engine drinking out of her bottle. The old Train Driver had told the Marines that the straw Hats had kidnapped both her and Chimney and forced her to drive the train that brought them to Enis Lobby. Kokoro claimed that the pirates had threatened to harm and even throw Chimney into the violent storm of Aqua Laguna.
Chimney backed up Kokros claim. Even though this was untrue neither Kokoro or Chimney wanted the Marines to know the truth as it would bring trouble to Water 7 and the shipbuilding Island relied on the government contracts to survive.
The Marines had left them alone to go and chase the Straw Hats throughout the Island. Not long after the two women had been left alone a wave of fire filled the sky.
"What was that?" Chimney asked.
"Not sure," Kokoro responded.
She stood up and turned to look towards the Tower of Justice; at the very top she could just make out a flag burning. Kokoro blinked and stared at the burning flag for a moment before looking at the alcoholic bottle in her hand.
She then looked back up at the flag.
"Chimney…do you see a flag burning on the top of that large tower?" Kokoro asked.
The young girl looked up in the direction that Kokoro was looking.
"Yep, it's burning really nicely," Chimney claimed, "are they having fireworks?"
Kokoro didn't answer, she just stared at the burning flag and the glass bottle of Alcohol fell out of her hand. Suddenly she burst out laughing as she pieced tighter what must have happened.
"What's so funny?" Chimney asked.
"Come chimney, we have worked to do," Kokoro announced once she finished laughing. She turned around and started walking towards the engine of Rocket Man.
"Grandma where are we going?" Chimney asked as she followed her grandmother.
"To help out those pirates of course," Kokoro responded.
"But we already brought them here; I thought we were going home now?" Chimney stated.
"That was the plan but they just did something incredibly brave and now they may need extra help," Kokoro explained.
"But what can we do?" Chimney asked.
Kokoro looked down at her granddaughter.
"Do you know what a Train driver's duty is?" she asked.
"Of course, to get the passengers in the train safely to their destination," Chimney answered "I've known that for years,"
"Well the Straw Hats have not reached their destination yet, so I'm going to fulfil my duty to them and make sure they get to their missing friend safely,"
"Are you going to fight the Marines Grandma?" Chimney asked.
"Ha, I wish. But no, I'm too old to be doing that," Kokoro answered.
"What are you going to do?"
Kokoro turned and looked at the fallen Rocket Man.
"I'm going to drive the train," Kokoro said confidently "Those pirates don't know it yet, but they have one last train to catch,"
