Alright. Welcome back!

The previous chapter had a Sci-Fi theme, this chapter will lean more to the Fantasy theme.

There will a character from Tangled and from Frozen coming into this chapter, plus a guess character from a certain Disney series from the 90s.

Also. I have more new drawings on DeviantArt, please have a look.

Now, please enjoy.

Chapter 18

•••

"WHOOOAAAAA!!!!!"

Crouched in the crow's nest of a ship and bending the railings with his white knuckled grip, Flynn screamed at the top of his lungs. And who could blame him? The ship was engulfed in a FIRESTORM!

The audience yelped.

The screen zoomed out, and to everyone's horror they saw the flying vessel plummeting towards the Earth. And on fire!

Rapunzel, Elsa, Anna, Lady Caine, Eugene, Kristoff and Hans cried out having each caught glimpses of their children aboard the deck of the ablaze spaceship.

"Not again!" Cried Hans.

"This one is a hundred times worse!" Varian wailed, brought to the brink of tears.

It wasn't as bad as it looked.

•••

"Let's do that again!" Chirped Amelia.

Everyone was fine. The fire was out, the decks were oddly undamaged and the craft now sailed gently in the clear blue skies.

"Congratulations, Captain Bjorgman." Jim Hawkins clasped Aidan's shoulder. "Your first atmospheric re-entry was a resounding success."

"Yes!" Whooped Aidan.

•••

"Engine room, this is your captain speaking. We have arrived on Earth, please shut down the shields and the umm... 'artificial gravity,' Neoma." Aidan's voice echoed out the voice pipe.

As directed, Neoma turned two levers of the large machineries to 'OFF'. The whirring noises died down and the light rumbling ceased.

"Good work, Neoma. That re-entry was quite the light show, sorry you couldn't see it down there." Jim's voice piped in.

"Oh, don't worry about me. I have plenty of excitement right here in this engine room." Neoma laughed.

The alchemist twirled on the spot, admiring all the flashy space age machinery that surrounded her. In a rarely seen display of overexcitement, Neoma bounced on her toes and let out a girlish squeal.

"Aahh! I'm in heaven!"

•••

"Aahh! I'm in heaven!" Neoma's squeal piped through without her knowing.

"Ha!" Aidan laughed. "Alright, deck crew. It's a beautiful day, let's get those solar sails opened up!"

Amelia, Novak, Wrenn, Eri and Flynn saw to their task.

"Way to get us all worried again!"

Dishevelled, Rapunzel rubbed her chest to calm her thundering heart. A grinning Eugene attempted to assist her, but a red faced Rapunzel swatted his naughty hand away.

"Not here, Eugene!"

"Darn." Eugene chuckled.

Pascal who was more thoughtful, climbed onto Rapunzel's shoulder and instead nudged her cheek.

Anna breathed a sigh of relief, Kristoff leaned back and rubbed his eyes, having finally remembered to blink. Elsa drew a deep breath, her anxiety eased, the town square reverted to a warm temperature.

Lady Caine didn't appear worried at all, her features were calm throughout the ordeal. Hans however bore an expression of anguish, his odd look raised a few eyebrows among his friends. Nobody saw that Lady Caine had been squeezing his hand under the table.

"Wake up, Varian. It's over, the kids are unharmed." Cassandra shook her husband.

"Neoma. She...she..." Varian muttered.

His voice was feint and his eyes were distant, it worried Cassandra.

"She has an alien ship in her possession!" Varian squealed like an excited little girl, his eyes sparkled with life.

Annoyed with her husband, Cassandra pushed Varian back onto his seat.

"A fine replacement to their destroyed dirigible." Said Arianna.

"I'm just glad they're all back on Earth." Said Frederic. Though one look over the railings and he was nervous again. "Still. I'd feel a lot better if they stood on the ground."

Jim supervised the handling of the ship, he was genuinely satisfied with the performance. In no time The Seven's new craft was fit for Earth travel.

Doctor Doppler and Captain Amelia had remained on the asteroid to oversee the takeover of the base. It does after all make for an excellent docking station for space farers, and that it is so close to a planet with civilised inhabitants and resources. When news of Earth was relayed, the planet Montressor wasted no time scrambling to arrange diplomatic contact with the Earthlings.

Captain Silver was offered clemency for his part in rescuing the councilman and his daughter, although Silver was more accurately rescued with them. Still, Silver was not one to shrug off a reward.

As for Jim Hawkins. He was tasked to train the group of seven in flying a ship and to see them safely to their next destination. A very exciting task.

•••

"Waaaahhuuum!" Flynn yawned.

The importance of a lookout's duty aboard a ship can never be overestimated, and many a sea farer do their jobs with pride, thankfully. Alas, none will ever deny that it can be a dreadfully dreary task.

Gone were the exciting and colourful landscapes. The ship now sailed over the ocean of endless blue. Flynn was beginning to bemoan his boring job, that was until a mass of pink entered his vision.

"Good afternoon!"

Flynn wasn't alone anymore, he was greeted with a most welcoming sight. Gracefully flying on butterfly wings was the beautiful pink haired fairy, Laethae. The girl they had rescued from the space raiders.

"Are you hungry, Flynn?"

'Her voice is so sweet.' Flynn thought. 'She smells sweet too, like pastries...wait, PASTRIES!!!'

Laethae was holding a tray of pastries!

"For me? OH YES PLEASE!"

Taking the desserts by the handful, Flynn ate them by the mouthful. He wasn't quiet about it either.

Rapunzel buried her face in her hands in embarrassment. Eugene on the other hand seemed amused.

"If she accepts you the way you are, you know she's a keeper!" Eugene laughed .

Laethae giggled. Not at all perturbed by Flynn's mannerism or lack of it.

Luckily, Flynn was still considerate enough to share the rest of his snacks with the girl.

"Thanks for bringing me these pastries, Laethae." Flynn voiced his appreciation... with his mouth half full.

"You're welcome." Laethae smiled.

The two sat together in the crow's nest.

"We should reach it pretty soon, the mystical island of Faerie." Said Flynn.

"Yes, we are close now. I can feel the magical energies in the winds grow stronger. Thank you, Flynn. Thank you and your companions for returning me to my home."

Laethae held her gaze to the distance, her heart fluttered with excitement. She had not realised how much she had missed her home, her family, her culture.

Culture.

Laethae lowered her face. It was in that moment that a shadow fell over her fluttering heart.

"Flynn. All my life I have been told that humans are dangerous, that they always antagonise and attack those who are different to them."

Laethae placed a hand over Flynn's, she smiled at him.

"But I sensed that you have a good heart, Flynn. You and the rest of your group." Said Laethae. "Can it be that there are more humans who are like you?"

Eric noticed his wife shuffle towards him. Ariel gently placed her hand over Eric's, in the same manner the fairy placed hers over Flynn's. Eric smiled and squeezed back.

"Of course! Oh I'd love to show you my home kingdom, the people there are great, the same with Aidan and Amy's home." Said Flynn.

Then for a moment, Flynn frowned.

"Well I can't deny that there are still jerks in the world, and don't get me started on the place called Weasel Town. But it's usually nothing a punch to the teeth cannot fix." Laughed Flynn, raising his fist. "Like whoever labelled Faerie as 'Monster Island' on the map. That guy needs a good clobbering."

"Monster Island!? That's a very derogatory term!"

"KRAAAAAGHHHHK!!"

Something in the distance let out a screech, something alive and BIG. It looked big too. Flynn quickly resumed his post, his eyes bulged at the gigantic winged reptile flying toward them.

"Oh. It's a wyvern." Laethae gulped. "Perhaps Monster Island wasn't so undeserved."

"Oh no." Eugene groaned.

"Get ready for another fight." Rapunzel let out a sigh.

"FIRE WARNING SHOTS!" Aidan yelled.

BANG!!! BANG!!!

Deafening were the bow cannons of the ship, the bright flashes of weapon's discharge lit the late afternoon sky. An intimidating display that should surely frighten off any creature.

But wyverns were the apex predators of Faerie, they are prey to no other animal, they knew no fear.

"KRAAAAAGHHHHK!!"

"EVADE!!!" Yelled Jim.

The ship jinked left, narrowly avoiding the head on collision. Everyone was thrown off their feet.

The wyvern came again, and it wasn't alone. Another emerged from the rocks below. The ship buckled, the wyvern grazed the starboard side, leaving three large gashes each as long as a man was tall.

"Enough with Warning Shots! TAKE THEM OUT!!!" Neoma yelled from the engine room, she was furious.

The ship's weapons fired in all directions, like a thunderstorm had reached the shores of Faerie.

"Everyone fasten your Lifelines!" Aidan yelled. "These things will hold, right?"

"Oh, they'll hold. I picked the materials myself." Answered Jim. "The ship will break before the ropes do."

Sadly. Break, the ship shall.

WOOOOSH!!!

One wyvern smashed into the centre mast, snapping the two foot thick wood like paper. The crow's nest did not stand a chance.

Rapunzel's hands shot to her mouth. Everyone else gaped.

"AAAAAaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!"

Flynn along with his long throaty screams faded toward the sea below.

Laethae dove after him.

"FLYNN!" Cried Wrenn.

Wrenn dissolved her lifeline and also made to dive overboard after her brother. She did not get far. A wyvern swooped in and snatched the free-falling Wrenn in its talons.

Wrenn's enraged cursing similarly faded away with distance.

Anna, Elsa, Cassandra, Lady Caine, Kristoff, Varian and Hans warily shift the gaze toward Eugene, Rapunzel, Frederic, Arianna and Edmund. The family shared a look of shock.

They will soon all share that look.

"Damn it! Work first, mourn later!" Muttered Aidan.

It was his mantra in battle. Aidan hated those words, but it kept him focussed. Today his will shall be tested like never before.

The final wyvern latched onto the ship, the creature was massive, almost encompassing the bow. Eri and Jim fought to fend off the boarder.

Aidan forced the craft into a descent, nearly scraping the trees below. But the wyvern's attack was relentless, the boarder took to blasting at the deck with its fire breathing.

BOOM!

"AAAAHHH!!!" Amelia screamed.

A fireball blew out a part of the ship under her feet, Amelia fell three decks below.

Kristoff and Anna gasped.

"AMY!"

Diving head first through the splinters and flames, Novak caught Amelia by the wrist just at the very last moment. The girl dangled out the hull of the ship.

"I got you, Amy!"

Novak was slipping, he held Amelia with his left hand but couldn't exactly do much with his right. Worse yet, the fire was spreading.

"Novak, let go! Or you'll burn!"

"You already know I won't let you go!"

In the heat of the disaster unfolding, and in the face of a highly probable death. Hearing Novak say those words made Amelia smile nevertheless.

'I knew he'd say that. But it sure feels good to hear it.' Amelia's thoughts echoed.

The affected part of the lower deck finally gave out. There was no screaming, no cursing. Amelia and Novak wordlessly fell into the forest below.

"NOOOO!" Bawled Kristoff.

Anna was pale, her face a mask of horror. Lady Caine reached out and held her close.

"They couldn't be dead." Hans whispered, his breath trembling.

What's left of the hull ploughed violently through the tree canopies, carving a great channel through the forest. The ship cleared the tree lines, passed the sandy beach and at last crashed into the sea.

The battle was concluded with one final pull of a trigger. The last wyvern was pinned, Jim drew a large glowing pistol, took aim and fired point blank into its skull. The super heated beam of energy boiled the creature's brain matter, creating a massive build up of expanding pressure inside the wyvern's head until finally-.

FBLSSSSH

Suffice to say, the beast died.

But even in death the wyvern was determined to claim a prey. As the gigantic headless corpse slid off the deck, one of the anchor points connected to Aidan's lifeline was dragged down with it. Aidan yelped as he was jerked off his feet and pulled overboard.

Kristoff and Anna gasped with worry.

Neoma breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that her treasured workplace made it through the ordeal undamaged. Regardless of what happens to the structure of the ship, it is the priceless machinery and science of the engine room that mattered the most.

"Aaaaahhh!"

A scream from topside froze Neoma cold, it wasn't just anyone's scream, what she then saw made her blood freeze. Neoma looked to the port windows and saw the dead wyvern sink into the ocean, pulling Aidan down under with it!

"AIDAN!!!"

Neoma backhanded the artificial gravity generator aside. Without a second thought she smashed through the hull, flooding the engine room with sea water. Neoma didn't care.

The dead weight was pulling Aidan to his death, fast, he could feel the squeezing in his head. Aidan desperately tried to cut the lifeline with his dagger. It wasn't working.

'Dammit, Jim. You with these stupid hard material straps!'

Neoma caught up to Aidan in no time, the density of her black rock armour saw to that. The lifeline was knife proof but not black rock scissor proof, she sheered the material with ease. Grabbing Aidan, Neoma broke off her armour and scrambled to reach the surface.

The journey to the surface was a great battle in of itself for Neoma, this was different than the time she pulled Wrenn out of the lake. This time they have sunk far deeper, and Aidan is much heavier than Wrenn.

Worst still, Aidan wasn't kicking!

Neoma felt her deprived lungs burning, she was in agony. And with suffering came doubt. She wasn't sure if she herself would survive if she should continue. Her instincts told her to let Aidan go, her logic told her to let him go.

But Neoma could not do it. Beyond logic, beyond instinct, something greater than both held her back. An overwhelming force within Neoma's core screamed at her to never let Aidan go, ever! And so Neoma held on, the prosthetic arm locked around Aidan's waist. Even in death they shan't part.

Then it came. Neoma felt a strong pair of arms loop around them both.

SPLASH!

Neoma, Aidan and Eri broke the surface. Jim threw the group a rope.

"They're okay, they made it!" Exclaimed Cassandra.

"Excellent work, Eri!" Elsa praised.

Climbing up the ice island, they laid the boy onto the deck. Eri had frozen the ship and surrounding waters to prevent the vessel from sinking.

Neoma was gasping and coughing, the ordeal had almost drowned her. It may already be too late for Aidan.

"AIDAN!" Eri screamed at her cousin. But Aidan was unresponsive.

"WHERE'S WRENN!? WHERE'S FLYNN!?" Cried Neoma.

"They're not here. They both fell overboard." Answered Jim, his eyes grim.

Rapunzel felt her heart tighten.

The group's healers were gone.

Anna watch on in terror, still wrapped in Lady Caine's arms. She could only stare helplessly at the screen, waiting to learn of the fate of her son.

"He's not breathing." Said Jim.

Those words, those terrible three words. Anna's world shattered beneath her.

To this day, when a person ceases to breathe, it is a definitive sign of their passing. Anna wailed in anguish. Kristoff slumped onto his chair, bereaved, unable to process what had happened.

But Neoma was not having any of it.

Neoma looped her arms around Aidan's chest and picked him up effortlessly. She held him upside down and squeezed hard, a jet of sea water sprayed out of Aidan's lungs. Neoma dropped Aidan onto his back again. She was being rather rough with her patient, which was why what Neoma did next was such a shock for everyone.

SMOOCH!!

"WHOA!!!"

Neoma kissed Aidan!

The surprise was town wide.

Varian's eyes bulged like saucers.

Even Eri and Jim were wide eyed.

Neoma pulled back to draw a lungful of air, then pressed her lips against Aidan's again! Tilting his head back and squeezing his nose shut as she did. Afterwards, Neoma placed her hands over Aidan's chest and compressed him repeatedly.

"Umm, Neoma. What are you doing?" Asked Eri.

"I believe I can stimulate breathing for him." Neoma huffed.

Neoma repeated this process, filling Aidan's lungs, then resumed pressing the air out of his chest again.

"When death was everywhere, the people in our world were constantly trying everything, experimenting what they can to save lives, many times more often than they do here. Eventually all the trial and error bore fruit." Explained Neoma. "I saw someone try this resuscitation technique once, and it worked."

She will see it happen again.

"Blargh!"

Aidan jerked into life, doubling over, he coughed out what water was left in his lungs.

The crowd yelped. The boy who was dead has been revived!

"Holy Cow. That trick actually worked!" Exclaimed Eugene.

"AIDAN!" Both Neoma and Eri cried in unison.

Rolling onto his back again, Aidan returned to breathing on his own.

"Urgh. What happened?" Aidan groggily groaned. "I remember lying down, surrounded by crying dwarves. A beautiful princess leaned over me, her face inching closer to mine... Then Neoma punched her."

"You idiot!" Neoma cried. Tackling Aidan down, she buried her face into his chest.

The people of Arendelle were silent at first, slow to comprehend what they saw. But when they did?...

"YEEEEEEAAAH!"

The town square shook with cheers.

"Hurray, Aidan is alright!" Squealed Anna.

Lady Caine winced, suddenly regretting hugging Anna and letting Anna hug her in turn. Anna certainly knows how to give a good squeeze.

"She brought him back." Kristoff whispered.

Elsa relaxed herself, her nephew was fine. Calling on Cassandra and Varian, she proposed her plan.

"Anna and I will arrange to have Arendelle and Northuldra's physicians further study this chest compression technique that your daughter demonstrated. If it is proven reliable, we will see to it that it is practised in hospitals, schools and workplaces everywhere."

"Good idea. I will urge Rapunzel to do the same." Cassandra agreed. "Think of all the lives it will save!"

Varian did not comment. He simply continued to stare at the screen.

With the orange sunset in the distance reflecting on the sparkling ice island, it made for a very romantic scene.

Oblivious of his close brush with death, a grinning Aidan placed his hand over Neoma's head. The girl continued crying into his chest.

"She really does care. Oh my gosh! So that must have been True Love's Kiss!" Anna chirped.

That comment caused Hans to let out a snickered laugh.

Jim and Eri sat nearby, silently observing with smiles on their faces. Eri felt Jim place a hand on her shoulder, she welcomed it.

The four of them were safe. Eri only hoped her other friends and family were also alright. She looked to the glowing gold light in the distance.

•••

"UUURRRGHAAARRRHHH!!!!" Roared the wyvern.

High above the crashing waves, on the top of a pillar rock, Wrenn and her abductor circled one another.

Eugene cringed. It was a most undesirable situation his daughter has caught herself in.

Rapunzel gulped.

There was nowhere to run, the only option was to fight. Wrenn swung her chain flail in a warning manner, a warning that went unheeded.

The gigantic beast lunged at her.

Its maw agape, baring rows of banana sized fangs, the wyvern intended to swallow its prey whole. But the would be prey was swift and slippery, every attempt for a bite was met with empty air. And more often than not, the attack was answered with a painful whack to the face. It also didn't help that the little prey was annoyingly bright to look at.

The blazing Wrenn kept up her sundrop powers blindingly bright, the wyvern is having a hard time tracking her. However, Wrenn's special ability also inadvertently drew more unwanted attention.

"EEEAAAARRGH!!"

Another creature barrelled onto the pillar, bowling the wyvern over. The human forgotten, the wyvern roared furiously at the interloper.

"EEEAAAARRGH!!" The dragon roared back.

"This is nuts. What else can go wrong!?" Groaned Eugene.

"Aah!"

Wrenn was almost swept from the pillar by the entangled tails of the wrestling reptiles, the tremors the two caused threatened to collapse the pillar rock. Just staying on her feet was proving difficult.

Rapunzel bit her nails in barely contained worry. Pascal, her faithful chameleon nuzzled his cheek against hers in a sign of support.

The parents could only helplessly watch their daughter duck and weave. Caught in the middle of a monster battle.

The wyvern, already enraged as it was, angrily thrashed and jerked, disentangling from its foe. The wyvern opened its jaws and unleashed a fiery torrent upon the dragon.

Wrenn dove for cover behind a boulder, and not a moment too soon. A few off shots of flames managed to graze her skin. Wrenn had to bite back a cry, the burns were hair-raisingly painful even for her unnatural resilience. She could only imagine what the intended victim must feel.

Annoyed, apparently.

The dragon emerged from the flames unscathed, but annoyed. Anchoring its talons to the ground the dragon opened its mouth to prepare to let fly its own burning payload. A trail of bio-luminous lights lit up the length of the dragon's dorsal spikes from tail to neck. Then-.

"EEEAAAARRGH!!!"

Looking from a distance away, a bright green flash lit the rock formation and the surrounding sea. A large smouldering object crashed into the waters below, creating a great tidal wave.

"Urrrgh!" The wyvern croaked. Shaking off the sea waters and taking to the sky.

The wyvern left the battle, forfeiting its meal to the dragon. Indeed, the dragon turned its attention on Wrenn.

"Oh crud. This one is even worse!" Eugene groaned.

"Oh what. Now you want a piece of me?"

Wrenn spun her chain flail, daring the predator to attack her. Yet the dragon displayed no hostility, only curiosity. It sat itself belly to the ground, even lowering its head to meet Wrenn at her face level.

Wrenn for her part stopped spinning her chain flail, but still held the weapon in ready position. She maintained caution while the dragon stared at her.

"Why is it looking at Wrenn like that?" Asked Eugene.

"Is it examining her?" Asked Hans.

"There seems to be recognition in the dragon's eyes." Kristoff furrowed his eyebrows. "Don't underestimate the intelligence of animals, especially reindeers."

He wasn't wrong.

At that moment, Pascal let out a loud squeak, startling Rapunzel. The chameleon hopped on the table, smiling at Rapunzel and Eugene with an expression of joy and excitement.

Pascal gestured at the dragon. It took a little act of charades and the changing of his scales to purple, but at last the couple understood.

"Oh my gosh. You mean that's LITTLE BIG GUY!?" Exclaimed Rapunzel.

Many heads were turned toward the couple and their chameleon.

"Rrrrrggghhh." Little Big Guy purred.

He leaned forward and gave the girl a loving rub with his snout.

Wrenn slowly lowered her chain flail, she was convinced that the dragon was friendly to her at least. Maybe a little too friendly.

"It is Little Big Guy!" Cheered Rapunzel.

"Wait. This is the dragon you three fostered!?" Asked Varian.

Pascal answered with a joyful bounce and signature squeak.

"My gosh, he's gigantic!" Said Eugene.

Without warning, Little Big Guy greeted Wrenn with a big sloppy lick.

"Charmed." Wrenn grumbled. Her clothes, face and hair drenched.

•••

"NOVAK!!!" Amelia shouted.

Anna and Kristoff sat up.

"Aidan, Eri, Neoma, Flynn and Wrenn? CAN ANYONE HEAR ME!?"

There was no answer, there was no sign of any of her friends. The thick tree canopies above obscured the moonlight, she could not even read which direction she was facing. Thus did Amelia trek the dark forest aimlessly, hungry and alone... well almost alone.

"EEEK!"

A snake sprang out of the bush. It snapped forward with its fangs bare and bit Amelia on the shoulder.

"GYAH! STUPID SNAKE!!!"

THWACK!

"Well, at least I won't have to worry about going hungry tonight." Amelia held the headless snake. "Urgh. But what am I going to do about this?"

The audience gasped.

Amelia peeled back her shirt, and there on her left shoulder was the bite wound.

"Oh no." Gasped Kristoff.

It was already beginning to show signs of swelling.

"Well that's definitely no good. Gotta suck the poison out!"

Amelia craned her neck, but try as she might, it was physically impossible to kiss one's own shoulder.

"Dag Naggits!" Amelia cursed. "Alright. Time for drastic measures."

Amelia raised her Keyblade. With but a thought, she commanded the blade head to fire up. It was a grim thought.

Kristoff croaked.

"Wait. She's not seriously going to-."

"Oow. This is gonna hurt!"

Anna gulped.

Kristoff squeezed his eyes shut. He was acting more squeamish than the girl herself.

Amelia levelled the searing metal over her wounded shoulder. But then-.

"Amy!"

"Novak!" Amelia cried.

"Phew! Well, that's mildly better." Kristoff grumbled.

•••

"Damn. That ship covered a lot of ground before it crashed!" Exclaimed Flynn.

The screen zoomed out to reveal that Flynn was dangling hundreds of feet above ground. His arms were raised, and clasping both his hands was Laethae.

"Oh thank goodness." Arianna sighed.

"It's still a perilous position to be in!" Frederic groaned. He hated heights.

Flynn's eyes followed the smoke trail left behind by the ship, the trail ends in the sea, several miles away.

"I sure hope everyone is okay." Said Flynn. "Hey Laethae. How quickly can you fly us there?"

"I can barely lift us both!" Grunted Laethae.

The effort was strenuous, beads of sweat rolled down the fairy's reddened face. Laethae had to flap her butterfly wings as rapidly as a bee's just to keep the two of them airborne. Her arms were also straining.

"I must set us down." Laethae declared, making their descent. "You're too heavy!"

"Really? But I'm the lightest out of the guys in my group!" Flynn laughed. "Good thing you have me and not Aidan. You do not want to have to pull Aidan out of an emergency."

"No kidding!" Cried Varian.

"Eeehehehe." Kristoff chuckled nervously.

"Fine. Let me just signal them to show that I'm okay." Said Flynn. "Don't look directly at me."

Flynn's hair lit up, giving off two gold flashes. He waited a few seconds then repeats it. Finally, after a moment passed he saw a response: two blue flashes and two white flashes in the distance.

"Eri and Neoma are fine. And whoever's with them are fine too." Flynn explained.

"I saw two gold flashes just like yours to the left." Said Laethae.

"Wrenn? She fell off the ship too? Oh well, at least she is okay."

"Yeah. But you might not be." Laethae nervously warned.

The pair are suddenly surrounded by a ring of armed guards. Winged men carrying vicious spears aimed menacingly at them.

"Eh?" Flynn croaked.

The screen rapidly zoomed out. The last thing everyone saw of Flynn as he vanished into distance were three sharp golden flashes. A distress signal.

"Oh no. What's going to happen now?" Wondered Rapunzel. Her son was not in a position to fight. "Where are they taking him?"

•••

Behind bars, apparently.

"Come on, you guys! Let me out, I haven't done anything wrong. I don't belong in a cell!... though I gotta say, it's a very nice cell."

He wasn't wrong.

"Is that a cell or a five star inn?" Lady Caine wondered.

Despite Flynn's predicament, the group could not help but marvel at the lavished room. There laid a woven rug, clean bedsheets, patterned walls, amenities and the sorts.

"Pretty luxurious for a jail!" Said Eugene. "...Not that I've been in many jails."

"Looks nicer than our room." Said Anna. From a royal? That's saying something.

"Oh. I'd kill for a night in this room." Patchy joked.

"Cease your senseless babbling!" The prison guard reprimanded. "The Sovereign Lord will decide your fate, human."

"Alright, fine. But can you tell me what you've done with Laethae?"

"That's Princess Laethae to you! Though I should expect such a shocking lack of decorum from your kind!"

"Thanks. At least now I know she's safe." Flynn laughed, having got what he wanted. " Princess Laethae huh? She must be a real big shot around here."

"You are such a fool."

•••

"Don't worry, Flynn. I will speak with my father. He'll get you out!" Laethae promised.

Laethae turned away from the lockup facility and flew toward the city. There the audience beheld the realm of the feyfolk in all its glory.

The audience of Arendelle's town square gasped. People from many different countries near and far, familiar with fashion and architecture of many cultures. But no one was prepared for what they saw.

It was long past twilight, yet all was still visible, perhaps more so. Before Laethae stood a sparkling megalopolis as vast as the eye could see. Thousands upon thousands of wisps floated along the alabaster streets or up the crystal towers, their etheric glow illuminated the shining architectures. It was truly a breathtaking sight that could only be appreciated at night.

"Wow. Now that's a city!" Kristoff praised.

Varian gaped. It was like watching Rapunzel's floating lantern festivals or Elsa's glowing cloud show. And that's not what impressed him the most.

Trees and flora flourished in and around the city, even becoming part of it.

Anna examined one of the curious towers. "Is the building carved out of the giant tree or was the tree deliberately grown around the building?"

There were ample similar plant life, but the city was not primitive, the city was advanced but not over industrialised. Nature and civilisation existed in perfect harmony.

"I bet the spirits of Northuldra would like that." Whispered Elsa.

The wheels were already turning in the Snow Queen's head. Elsa studied and pondered on how to incorporate such harmony into her own developing kingdom.

It is a magical place with many more majestic wonders awaiting to be seen. Truly it is the likes of which no one in town has witnessed.

Flight was also common practise in the fey world. Pedestrians and commuters flew up, down and around in some established system of road traffic, but in the air! An organised traffic system that Laethae completely ignored.

"Pardon me! Excuse me! MOVE!"

She was upsetting a number of commuters. Ignoring the many cries of outrage, Laethae soared towards a mansion. A mansion built on top of what bafflingly appears to be a floating island.

"My head hurts." Groan Varian.

•••

In the interior of what is certainly a lavished living room, a tall slender male offered a chalice to his guest.

"I hope this wine suits your taste. Please pardon the cold reception, but my wife and I are going through an incredibly difficult time." The male fairy apologised.

Said wife, a beautiful fairy with hair of pink moved to stand beside her husband. She was a walking wreck, yet she stood tall and strong. The husband was likewise crumbling inside himself, but he too forced a brave face for their guest. Not that their efforts were even appreciated.

"Hmph. For your sake, someone better be dying. Not that I'm not used to lacklustre welcomes by now."

"Gee. I wonder why." Cassandra rolled her eyes.

"Who is this jerk anyway?" Asked Anna.

The unseen guest sat off-screen, her identity obscured. But there was something about her voice and the way she spoke that was unpleasantly familiar.

"That poor couple. I wonder what is troubling them." Said Elsa.

WHAM!

A sharp and violent impact shook the balcony doors. The three occupants turned to face the disruption and found someone splattered against the glass, like a pink bug.

"OUCH! Since when are the balcony doors closed!?" Laethae complained.

"LAETHAE!" The husband and wife exclaimed.

The girl was allowed inside and the couple pulled the girl into a tight embrace.

"My dear child, you have returned! I had feared I would never see you again!" The mother cried.

"Mother! Father!" Laethae whimpered.

With all the recent excitement, Laethae had forgotten how much she missed her family. The fear and hurt that bottled up inside finally threatened to overwhelm her. Laethae melted into her mother's arms.

The sweet reunion indeed brought a moment of joy to the parent group. At the very least, the seven teens have accomplished the task of returning the fairy girl to her family.

"My my. Isn't this quaint?" The guest asked.

The audience gasped.

Stepping into the path of the screen at last was none other than-.

"Maleficent!"

"Oh no." Whispered Elsa.

"Oh my."

"Oh dear. What an awkward situation I find myself in." Maleficent wrinkled her nose.

Laethae tensed up. She recognised the dark fey, from the battle on the asteroid. The very figure who took part in unleashing the shadow monsters now stands in her living room. Laethae felt a firm hand placed over her shoulder, her father had sensed her unease.

"I believe I have overstayed my welcome." Maleficent yawned. "Lord Kirion, Lady Laeus and... little lady. I bid you all good night."

"I shall walk you out." Kirion offered. Happy to put some distance between Maleficent and his family.

They walked down the stairs of the mansion in silence. Kirion was glad for it, he did not like her company. Alas, once the two were at the exit, Maleficent made her final ultimatum.

"Just remember my offer, boy. You may be living comfortably for now. But the storm is coming, and if you are unwilling to sacrifice a few floorboards to stay afloat? Then you shall drown, just as all the humans will."

Point made, Maleficent stepped out of the residence.

"Oh. By the way, Kirion." Maleficent grinned.

Many would agree that Maleficent's grin was scarier than her scowls.

"I am glad that your daughter has returned safely. I am sure the young lord Halekaith would be thrilled."

With that final jab, Maleficent turned and vanished into a puff of smoke.

"Glad that's over!" Elsa sighed. The danger has passed. "But what did Maleficent mean?"

"Isn't it obvious? Some noble fairy has eyes for Laethae." Said Anna.

"No, Anna. I think she meant what Maleficent warned Laethae's father about that storm." Said Kristoff.

"Perhaps she is offering sanctuary from The Storm of Unquiets." Said Rapunzel. "But at what cost?"

"Whatever deal Maleficent proposes, it can never be good. It is fortunate that this Lord Kirion is reluctant to accept." Said Elsa.

"The kids need to get on top of this, and fast." Said Rapunzel.

"Oh Laethae. You have been gone for five days! They told me that a flying vessel spirited you away."

"I was, mother. But good people saved me, they risked their lives to return me home!" Laethae cried. "Now one of my rescuers have been forcefully taken by the Border Force. I must ask father to have him released, and then search for the others who were scattered by the crash. They are my friends. Please, help them!"

•••

Daybreak arrived, and as promised, Laethae's parents agreed to release her detained friend. However, as they sailed toward the facility, the family of three were experiencing some dramas.

"Your friend is a human!?" Exclaimed Kirion.

"And now there are more of them roaming the island!?" Laeus gasped.

The astonishing floating carriage sailed through the air, pulled by a pair of gigantic eagles.

"What do you think, Varian?" Asked Cassandra.

"That carriage must be suspended by some lighter than air element. Or some science we've never seen before." Varian mused.

"Or it might be magic." Suggested Anna.

"Bah! Magic." Varian scoffed.

"Humans have always been an erratic people, they are known to solve matters with violence. It was from a conflict with them that our ancestors were driven from the continent to remain on this island in isolation." Kirion explained. "Humans fear what they do not understand and are always quick to judge and condemn."

Varian shrank. Everyone at the table gave him scolding looks.

Elsa let out a saddened sigh. It was just like with her grandfather and the Northuldrans. She could only imagine what prejudice the feyfolk may have endured.

Laeus cupped her daughter's cheeks and smiled.

"Laethae. Your father and I are grateful to your friends. And we will be happy the vouch for them, regardless of where they hail from." Laeus stated.

"But many of our kind may not be so accepting. Just be wary." Kirion warned.

The craft landed, the driver tended to the eagles. Laethae and her parents have reached the outskirts of the city.

"Father, mother, I assure you. My friends are compassionate, sensible, civilised-."

CRASH!!

A massive creature slammed onto the ground raising dust and leaves with its landing. A dragon now perched among them. The eagles flailed in fright, the attendants scattered.

"NOBODY MOVE!" The dragon's rider shouted. "I have a dragon and I'm not afraid to use it!"

"EEEAAAARRGH!!!" Little Big Guy roared.

The dragon spread its gigantic wings, casting a shadow over the family and their terrified entourage.

"WHERE'S MY BROTHER!" Wrenn demanded. "Tell me where my brother is and no one gets obliterated!"

Little Big Guy let loose a pillar of green fire skyward to make their point.

Eugene groaned, Rapunzel buried her face in her hands. Even Pascal turned blue and buried his face in his paws, changing his scales to the colour of the tablecloth to hide.

"Wrenn, stop. It's me!"

"Oh... Hi Laethae!" Wrenn smiled,

Her hostile demeanour made a complete turn around. Wrenn dismounted the dragon and the two girls shared a warm hug.

"Umm, Kirion. What just happened?" Asked Laeus .

One moment the human threatened them all, the next, their daughter and the girl are embracing in friendship.

The fairy lord watched the human girl introduced the dragon to Laethae. On command, Little Big Guy gave Laethae a big sloppy lick, drenching the fairy. Wrenn simply laughed.

"A dragon. The mystical creatures of Faerie, hallowed by the feyfolk. It is unheard of that a human can empathise with such a revered beast, let alone befriend it!" Exclaimed Kirion. "How?"

"At least they are impressed." Said Elsa.

"Good thing we raised Little Big Guy well." Rapunzel laughed, at last finding the humour.

"That was some first impression. But hey. It worked out." Kristoff chuckled.

•••

The bars slid open and into the cell stomped Wrenn, glaring down at the cot and its messily sprawled occupant.

"You've been napping this whole time!? WAKE UP, FLYNN!"

"Ngh...Wrenn?" Flynn groaned, still mostly asleep. "Hey. Ya found me. Ngh...That's great."

"I saw your distress signal and worked all night learning how to fly a dragon!" Wrenn scolded. "I was worried you were being tortured, sacrificed or eaten! Did you know I was almost eaten!?"

"I am not so sure he is listening." Said Laethae, standing next to Wrenn.

"Ngh... wha? 'Eat?' Ooh, is it breakfast time yet, Wrenn?" Moaned Flynn.

"GRRR!"

"Oh my." Elsa giggled.

"I think I can see steam blowing out of Wrenn's ears." Said Anna.

" Get up, get up! We need to go find the others! Now!"

Wrenn pulled the blanket off her brother. She will soon regret it.

"GYAAAH! FLYNN! WHAT THE HELL!?"

Wrenn averted her eyes and covered Laethae's. The fairy let out a yelp.

"Flynn, you gutter brained pervert! What dirty thoughts are you having now!?"

"AHH! I'm not having dirty thoughts! IT... just... does that when I wake up!"

A fully awakened Flynn sat up and covered himself, he was red with embarrassment.

Kristoff, Anna, Elsa, Hans, Lady Caine, Cassandra, Varian and the Stabbington Brothers all laughed hysterically.

Rapunzel covered her face.

"Ha. At least we know he's healthy." Eugene laughed.

Flynn was especially embarrassed because Laethae was there too, and almost as red as him. Yet, despite this, Flynn was in fact blissfully unaware that Laethae's parents were observing from beyond the bars.

"Is this really what passes as normal behaviour for humans?" Kirion asked, tilting his head at his wife.

"If it is, they are a fascinatingly eccentric people I must say." Laeus replied.

"Trust me. Their behaviour is far from normal, even to us." Frederic rubbed his brow.

The feyfolk will have more to see.

•••

"Please. You have to let us through!" Novak pleaded.

Outside, along the border of the fey city, Novak pleaded with the gate guards to let him pass.

"Out of the question, human. There is no place for your kind here."

A ring of guards barred the path into the city.

Lady Caine and Hans immediately sat straighter when they took in the state of their son.

Novak was visibly in distress. His face glistened with sweat and he breathed heavily, as though he just ran a marathon. But what has everyone worried was who Novak carried lifelessly on his back.

"Amelia!"

"Alright. I get it if you don't want us to come into your city. But then can you ask a doctor to come out and check my girlfriend!?"

"What does he mean his girlfriend!?" Exclaimed Kristoff. "What nerve!"

"Kristoff. Is that really your biggest concern right now?" Scolded Anna.

Kristoff considered his wife's words then looked at the screen again where his eyes focussed on the limp form of Amelia. Kristoff's pupils dilated, the sight finally registering in his brain, a deafening silence fell over the table.

"Here it comes." Anna warned.

"AMY! Oh Gods, spirits, oh merciful Flemmingrad. How did this happen to my sweet little girl!?" Cried Kristoff. Pulling at his hair. "Novak. You're her boyfriend. How could you let this happen!?"

Neck deep in full panic mode, Kristoff made it a very unpleasant position for anyone sitting near him. Elsa passed Anna an annoyed frown while the sisters attempted to rein in Kristoff.

"Novak!"

Flynn and Wrenn barrelled down the pathway, a group of fairies flew after them. Novak had never been more relieved.

"Oh wow. The two people I most desire in the world right now." Novak's eyes sparkled.

"Don't let Amy hear you say that." Wrenn warned. "Speaking of which-."

Flynn promptly scooped Amelia off of Novak's back. Wrenn wasted no time engaging her sundrop powers, she ran her hand over Amelia's brow.

Novak fidgeted where he stood. His hand and stump were freed, a physical load was removed from his back. But a great weight still remained in his chest and it threatened to crush his innards. He could do nothing but anxiously watch the twins work to save his Amy.

The audience similarly watched on nervously, especially Kristoff.

Flynn and Wrenn passed one another a confused look, this concerned Novak greatly. There was no ailment under the sun that the twins could not fix. What could it be? Unless?

"Um, Novak?" Asked Wrenn. "Amy is perfectly fine."

Novak froze.

"Are you sure? She was bitten by a snake last night. I...uh... we treated the wound, it should still be there!" Novak shuffled in his stance and avoided eye contact. There was a slight blush on his cheeks.

" Uh huh. Well there is no poison in her system, as far as we can tell." Said Flynn.

"What exactly are you so worried about anyway?" Wrenn asked.

" What am I worried about!? She's unconscious!" Cried Novak. "I shook her, I cried her name, I ran all the way here, bouncing her on my back for an hour. And still she won't wake up!"

"Because she's Amy." Wrenn said flatly.

"Eh..?"

"Chuuu." Amelia snored, sleeping peacefully.

"Oh." Croaked Kristoff, suddenly feeling embarrassed.

"...I totally forgot that Amy does that."

Novak was similarly blown away by his own oversight. He could only stand dumbfounded on the spot with beaded eyes while the twins burst out laughing.

"BWAHAHAHHA!"

"Amy is much heavier than she looks, yet you piggybacked her for an hour? Good effort. I'm impressed." Flynn praised.

"Awww. You're always so good to Amy." Wrenn cooed, pinching Novak's cheek.

"He is." Sighed Anna. Much to Kristoff's relief and annoyance.

A few seats away. Hans watched with pride in his heart.

"Good on you, Novak."

"That being said. You were incredibly lucky that Amy didn't put her arms around you the entire time you carried her." Wrenn shuddered.

"Huh?"

As if to answer Novak, Amelia's arms snaked around Flynn's torso.

"Chuu... heheee." Amelia purred.

Some part of Amelia's dormant consciousness sensed that she is being cradle carried. A big smile and a blush formed on her dreaming face.

"Novak... my hero." Amelia droned.

"GAH! No, Amy! I'm not Novak!" Flynn yelped.

Amelia nuzzled lovingly into Flynn's chest.

"Looks like she's dreaming of you." Wrenn winked at the blushing Novak.

Kristoff cringed some more. Anna however was having a blast.

"These human friends of yours. They are capable of care and love." Kirion observed.

"They are." Laethae smiled proudly.

The fairy princess was overjoyed that Novak and Amelia made it through the night safely.

"Perhaps we may yet convince the council." Said Laeus . "Thus far, your unusual friends have shown themselves capable of compassion and empathy. If somewhat uncivilised."

"Oh mother. I assure you, they are a the most maturely behaved-."

BRRRRR!!!

The trumpets boomed.

•••

"What happened!?" Kirion demanded.

The retinue rushed inside of what appears to be the observation deck of a large watch tower. The watch tower was abuzz with activity, winged men and women flew around like busy bees urgently assessing an attack.

"There is a vessel floating outside, my lord!"

There can only be one group responsible.

The crash-mangled remains of the spaceship hovered precariously at eye level with the tower. Its water-choked engines strained and spluttered, spewing excessive levels of smoke into the otherwise clear skies.

"Oh the poor ship!" Cried Varian. "Such a marvel of scientific ingenuity so battered and abused!"

"I'm surprised that thing is still flight worthy!" Gasped Cassandra.

"Have they shown signs of hostility!?" Laeus asked.

"They've been pelting us with snowballs, milady."

As on cue, a snowball flew through the window and splattered on the floor boards.

"...Was that really cause for raising an alarm?" Kirion asked.

This next part was.

SCREEEECH!

The irritating loud screech of static and interference silenced all activities in the watch tower. The attackers announced themselves.

"Attention... strange... Avian Humanoids!" Neoma's voice blared from the ship's speakers.

"She sounds pissed." Eugene whispered.

Hans and Kristoff agreed.

"Do you see this maniac pointing the big cylindrical tube at you?"

Jim aimed a cannon at the watch tower.

"No way!" Exclaimed Varian.

It gets worse.

"That cannon is loaded with a little something called The Luna Vengeance. A special fortification shredding bomb of my own design!" Neoma bragged.

"She's not serious! Right?" Asked Elsa.

"We know you have taken our friend against his will. Give him back to us. OR WE'LL RIP YOUR TREEHOUSE A NEW ONE!!!"

"She's not going to do it." Cassandra rolled her eyes.

"THEY'RE GONNA DO IT!!!"

Pandemonium in a heartbeat, the watch tower descended into full panic.

"It's every fairy for themselves!" A fairy flew out the back window.

"NEOMA! DON'T SHOOT!" Flynn shouted.

He managed to push through the rattled hornet nest of a panicked mob to reach the balcony.

"I'M OKAY! I'M OKAY!!!" Flynn flailed his arms.

"...Flynn?" This time, Eri's voice buzzed out. "You weren't tortured, sacrificed or eaten?"

"Why does everyone think that?" Flynn grumbled.

•••

"There, there. Good boy." Wrenn reached out the window to pat the dragon.

The group of seven, plus Jim and Laethae sat together in a waiting room. Little Big Guy refused to leave Wrenn's side, so the feyfolk decided to hold the teens in a building facing a large courtyard. It was a place for them to reside until Kirion and his governing bodies figured out what to do with them.

The parent group relaxed.

"So you were never in any danger? Then why'd you flash your distress signal for!?" Neoma demanded.

"Hey. They had a group of soldiers fly in and point spears at me. I didn't know they would throw me in a five star hotel cell." Flynn whined.

A handmaiden entered the room, bearing beverages. She handed a drink to each of the teens, but as she did, her hand brushed against Flynn's.

Cassandra raised an eyebrow, Lady Caine did too.

Laethae also caught sight of the contact, which she knew was in no way accidental. Laethae narrowed her eyes at the handmaiden. As she expected, the handmaiden froze, her eyes remain glued to Flynn.

"Umm. Is everything alright?" Asked Flynn.

"Oh... I am fine, thank you."

"Ah. That's my boy. He's a real lady-killer." Eugene grinned. Totally oblivious.

The handmaiden excused herself and hurried out of the room.

"Did I say or do something wrong?" Flynn wondered.

"No, Flynn. The fault was not yours." Laethae answered. "That handmaiden was sent by my father, she came in here to read you."

Laethae sat down beside Flynn. She reached out, she wanted to grasp his hand. But she refrained.

Flynn was surprised to find Laethae looking at him apologetically.

"Laethae?"

"Flynn. The truth is, I owe you an apology. Back on the asteroid, when you and I first met, I was afraid, I didn't know if I could trust you. So when you offered your hand to me, and I accepted it, I used that contact to look into your soul, Flynn." Laethae confessed.

The rest of the group turned their attention to the pair. Flynn blinked, he still did not understand what the problem was. Wrenn furrowed her brow in concern.

"We fairies have the innate magical ability to sense the spiritual characteristics of the people near and around us. It was a gift from the goddess, to protect us from deceit."

"Magic, souls, spiritual characteristics and goddesses." Whispered Jim. The subject of the supernatural intrigued the space farer.

"The link is stronger with physical contact, when we touched I could truly read into your soul. But to do that without consent is considered a great taboo."

Laethae lowered her head.

"Since you are human, Flynn. I was able to read into you without the risk of you reading me. I intruded on your most hidden sanctum. And for that, I am sorry."

"Uh... it's fine, Laethae." Flynn grasped Laethae's hand, to show that he did not and still do not mind.

"You said it was a gift to protect you from deceit. Seemed like the perfect moment to put it to good use." Said Neoma.

"And in the end, you decided to trust us. Which meant you must have liked what you saw in Flynn." Aidan grinned.

"Honestly. I'm sorry you had to look into Flynn's soul of all choices." Wrenn cringed. "Flynn has a good heart. But he can be really dumb, immature and perverted."

"HEY!"

"Tut tut. He is just like his father at times." Said Rapunzel.

"HEY!"

Not that the rest of the group was much better behaved.

Eri stifled a laugh.

"That reminds me. I have to tell you all, what Neoma did last night!"

••• Seconds later •••

"YOU KISSED AIDAN!?" Amelia squealed.

"It wasn't a kiss! It was a resuscitation technique, meant to save lives." Neoma corrected.

"But did she really?" Wrenn asked Eri. "Did Neoma press her lips against Aidan's?"

"Oh. She sure did." Eri laughed. "I swear. That was the Kiss of Life that would put the legendary Snow White and Aurora and both their princes to shame."

Everyone bar Neoma shuffled closer.

"All of you should have seen Neoma go. This was not some brush of the lips or a gentle peck, like at the Gladiatorum."

"So she really did kiss him that time! BLAAARGH!" Varian wailed.

" This was so much bigger! Neoma pulled Aidan by the nose to force his mouth wide open. Then with her own mouth wide opened she cupped her lips against his, blowing mouthfuls of air back into his lungs!"

Eri recounted the revival of Aidan with drama and performance few knew Eri could muster. She even conjured some life-sized snow figures for visual demonstration. Laethae giggled, Wrenn and Amelia were ecstatic, Flynn and Novak laughed. They all occasionally glanced at Jim who nodded each time to confirm Eri's claims.

There was much merriment in the room.

"Just when all hope seemed lost. Life pulsated back into Aidan. The sleeping prince awakens from his deathly slumber."

Eri finished. The group applauded.

The people of town square also applauded.

"Like a fairy tale come to life." Sighed Anna.

"Never thought I'd see Neoma pull something like that." Said Cassandra. Proud of her daughter.

"This is definitely one for the books." Kristoff laughed. "I'll see it written and published nation wide."

Varian groaned.

Neoma wasn't so pleased either. The poor girl was red with embarrassment.

"Oh wow. I was kissed by Neoma!" Aidan moaned.

The revived prince wobbled where he sat, his mind dancing dreamily in and out of consciousness.

"Uh, Aidan? Hello? You still with us?" Novak waved.

"Oh no. I think we're losing him again!" Flynn laughed. "Hey, Neoma. You better give Aidan another smooch!"

"Do it!" The goofy grinning Kristoff cheered.

Neoma wasn't having anymore of it. The flustered alchemist prepared to storm out of the room. But Amelia gave her a reason not to.

"Aww. Don't be embarrassed, Neoma. Hehehe. You and Aidan weren't the only two who did something sexy last night." Amelia winked.

"What?" Kristoff's goofy grin vanished.

All eyes were on the new pair. A red faced Novak shrank. Amelia grinned wickedly.

"There I was, trudging through the creepy dark forest...when a snake bit me!" Amelia cried, dramatically clasping her shoulder. "I was in a bad position; alone vulnerable and hurt. But in my moment of direst need, my prince came to save me."

"Your what?" Novak croaked.

Kristoff's eyebrow twitched.

Amelia gestured at Novak, then at her shoulder. She made her act as dramatic as she could when she claimed:

"Novak disrobed me. He grabbed my collar and parted my buttons with a single vicious jerk."

Kristoff seethed.

"That was an exaggeration!" Exclaimed Novak.

"I laid bare-."

The veins on Kristoff's head bulged.

"You had your sports bra on!" Novak corrected.

"He peeled back my shirt and saw the terrible snakebite upon my shoulder. We locked eyes and my heart sank when I saw the sadness and worry he carried for me. Wordlessly, his eyes looked to mine for permission."

Amelia paused and smiled. She was delighted to see her audience so enthralled.

"I nodded. And then I felt them, Novak's lips cupping my skin!" Amelia squealed. "The world began to spin, my mind went numb. I don't know if it was the poison or if it was Novak. Either way, the sensation was intoxicating. Novak sucked on my shoulder with such vigorous force."

Kristoff banged his head on the table. But everyone was too busy gawking at the screen to notice the rattled crockery or his sobbing.

"I felt Novak holding me steady in his strong one and a half arms. Feeling I might faint, I held onto him for dear life. I ran my fingers through his hair, my other hand slipped under his shirt. I felt his good hand reaching under my skirt-."

"ARRGH! NO MORE!" Cried Aidan. "Not another word, Amy. Or I'm gonna barf!"

"Aidan! I just thought of something really hot. Now you've made me forget!" Amelia cried.

"Ah huh. So you were just making it all up." Eri admonished.

"...Just the good stuff." Amelia confessed, sheepishly.

"WHAT!? THAT WAS ALL MADE UP!?" Kristoff balked at the screen with red eyes and puffy cheeks. "I mean I'm glad that it wasn't real. But dammit, AMY!!!"

"Wanna see this one in the books?" Chuckled Varian. His taunt provoked a cry of dismay from Kristoff.

Seeing that it was just a fabricated tale, the audience relaxed. A moment to recollect themselves. Some fans huffed in disappointment.

Neoma cast a menacing glare down at Novak. Her younger brother figure shrank under her piercing eyes.

"Novak. I want to hear it from you! Did you and Amy do anything inappropriate!?"

"No!" Cried Novak, his face was red as a tomato. "I sucked out the poison, salved the wound and bandaged her shoulder. That was it. It was quickly and professionally done."

"Aww. But my version is a crowd pleaser." Amelia giggled. "Definitely one for the books."

"Amy!" Kristoff cried.

"Oh Kristoff. You already know that Amelia is physically attracted to Novak." Anna laughed. "Hmm. I hope that Novak feels the same way for her."

Anna had no idea just how physically attracted to Amelia Novak was.

Wrenn narrowed her eyes. The way Novak sat. He was hunched over, and he positioned himself to face away from the group. It would appear that Novak didn't want anyone to see his flustered face, but Wrenn knew he was hiding something else.

'EWW!' Wrenn's thoughts echoed. 'I've already seen enough of that today!'

Hans, being the more sensible of Novak's parents, faceplanted the table. Lady Caine let out a throaty laugh.

"Healthy." Said Sideburns.

"Very healthy." Patchy agreed.

Anna giggled.

Kristoff's face was a mass of contorted muscle. "You just keep that away from my daughter!" Kristoff rasped.

Wrenn spun and bore her glare back at Amelia instead.

"Amy. I've been meaning to ask you. Why didn't you just cast Cure on yourself?" Asked Wrenn.

"...Eh!" Amelia stammered

"...What?" Spluttered Kristoff.

This was news to everyone.

All eyes were again on Amelia.

"Hey, that's right. Amy can use her Keyblade to perform a healing spell." Said Eri.

"Yes." Wrenn confirmed. "In fact. Ever since I unlocked my Sundrop Level Two powers, I've been teaching Amy how to cast Cura, an even more powerful version of Cure. She should have no trouble fixing a snakebite herself."

The audience was stunned. Kristoff stared with ballooned eyes.

Everyone stared at Amelia. Novak was especially shocked by this revelation.

"Oh...I forgot."

"AAMYYYY!!!" Bellowed Kristoff.

"Hahaha! And to think, if Novak hadn't shown up, I would have seared myself." Amelia laughed.

Kristoff bellowed his outrage some more. The whole fiasco could have been so easily avoided.

Laethae observed the group, the ways of humans are a great intrigue to her.

"Pss, Eri." Laethae whispered. "Are Amy and Novak, and Neoma and Aidan already promised to one another?"

"What? No, nothing like that." Eri giggled. "They just really fancy one another, and this is how they express it."

Laethae blinked.

"They express it so openly. Is that how it's done in your cultures?"

This question also got Jim interested.

"Hmm, I guess it is." Said Eri. "Humans cannot read one another's souls like fairies can. The only way to let the one they love know that they do, is to really show it, through words and deeds."

The scene ends with a shot of Aidan trying for another kiss on Neoma, the latter trying to ward him off.

"Well...maybe not this much."

•••

Lord Kirion sat at the table of the ornate conference chamber, where he convened the matter concerning the outsiders with his fellow governing bodies.

It was at this moment when the disguised handmaiden entered.

"Ah, excellent timing. Perhaps you can shed some light on our guests." Kirion greeted. "Please. Share with us your report."

An air of tension rose in the streets. The fate of the seven plus Jim, literally hinges on what was observed in Flynn.

Rapunzel folded her arms, she was not worried in the slightest.

The handmaiden raised her head, the fey people gasped. It was at that moment when the members of the room saw the raw emotion in the handmaiden's teary eyes.

"Oh my. Tell us what you saw, dear. And please, take it slowly." Encourage Laeus.

•••

"I Kirion, Lord of the Sky Fey, extend my welcome to you, young travellers." Kirion greeted.

The teenagers stood in the conference room, the governing members offered the group a subtle nod.

The parent group sighed in relief, thankful for the warm reception.

"Thank you, Lord Kirion. My team and I are very grateful for your hospitality." Aidan saluted.

"It is an unprecedented happening. That a dragon, one of Faerie's sacred protector beasts has established empathy with one of your members. That in itself warrants the respect of the feyfolk." Said Kirion.

"Further more, my husband and I thank you for the safe return of our daughter." Praised Laeus . "We know it was not an easy endeavour, and you have sacrificed much on your journey to bring her back. You are all truly pure of heart."

'Yeah. But maybe not truly pure!' Kirion thought.

The fairy king narrowed his eyes at Flynn.

••• Flashback •••

Kirion, Laeus and the other members of the council balked at the handmaiden.

The aforementioned handmaiden stood awkwardly, staring at her feet. It was her duty to report all of her readings to her lords, and certainly she was pleased to inform that the boy named Flynn was pure of heart. But when asked about his thoughts concerning Laethae? Well...

"Ehehe. It appears this Flynn human wishes to court the princess." Someone chuckled.

"Sounds like he wants to do more than just court her." Someone else whispered.

Rapunzel buried her face in her hands.

The handmaiden fidgeted awkwardly.

••• End of Flashback •••

The group of teenagers stood confused, unsure of the intentions of their host. One moment Lord Kirion was all smiles, happily welcoming them all with his wife. The next, Kirion appeared incredibly agitated.

Kirion's eyebrow twitched involuntarily, it doesn't happen often. Maintaining a stoic facade is common practise in his line of work. As a lord, Kirion has conquered countless aggravating situations with a straight face. Yet today he can't quite stop making weird looks at the group, especially at the one named Flynn. It didn't help that his daughter was standing so close to the boy.

Hushed chuckles circulated from the council members. The situation seemed well accepted by most. Most.

"Laethae. Perhaps you should take your seat at the council table." One member coldly suggested.

The parent group glanced at one another.

There was a growl in this member's tone. He was the only other person in the room other than Kirion who took insult in Flynn and Laethae's closeness. The parent group knew animosity when they saw it.

Kirion did not fail to notice it either. With a knot of suspicion tightening in his gut, Kirion kept a watchful eye on the young amber haired lord. The threat of Flynn suddenly forgotten.

"Pss. Do you think that guy with amber hair is the young lord who has the hots for Laethae?" Asked Anna. "Halekaith, his name was?"

'Trust Anna to be the first to notice.' Elsa sighed.

"It could be, I mean he does seem kind of jealous." Said Kristoff.

Cassandra narrowed her eyes. She knew a warrior when she saw one. Cassandra passed a glance at Hans and Lady Caine. They saw it too.

With some regret, Laethae retook her seat beside her parents. But not before making one final glance at the group, especially at Flynn.

"Now. Our honoured guests."

Laeus took the initiative to move on with the discussions, since she was the most level headed.

"We understand you have another purpose for travelling to Faerie. You have taken upon yourselves to accomplish a grand task. We know not what it is, but we do know it is of noble cause, and that you have poured your hearts into its fulfilment." Laeus's eyes softened. "You have suffered dearly to see it through. Please, won't you enlighten us of your quest, so that we may conclude this matter swiftly and beneficially for all of us?"

The group took a moment to register the lady's proposal to help. Kirion having recomposed himself, sat down and gestured for the teens to speak.

At last, Aidan stepped forward smiling widely.

"Very well, my lords and ladies. My name is Aidan Bjorgman, this is my team... and Jim. Now this is going to sound strange, but we are not from this time. We travelled here from another world thirteen years in the future. Except for Jim, he just comes from another world."

Jim let out a grunt.

And so it was. The seven teens imparted upon the feyfolk of their origin, the calamity that took place in their world, and what might take place in this world. The fairies listened carefully.

Laethae shuddered, most of what the group said was news to her. Even Jim felt a chill as the group recounted each encounter.

Kirion slumped onto his seat. This was yet another rare occasion that broke his stoic facade. He wasn't alone, not a single fairy in the room sat straight after the story was shared.

"So. As we speak now, one such infiltrator hides among us, and seeks to sabotage our society?" Asked Laeus .

"Just as they have tried to do to many societies. But we've put a stop to them." Said Neoma. "Only one remains now. Yours."

Kirion thumped his fists on the table. Laeus rested her hand on her frustrated husband.

"I knew Maleficent cannot be trusted. I was a fool to not have her detained immediately!"

"I would have advised putting a sword through her gullet." Aidan suggested. "Only way to make sure."

"Laethae told us that Maleficent was at your residence, last night. What did she tell you?" Eri asked.

•••

The group of teens lead by Laethae trekked the streets of the impressive fairy city.

"This place is amazing!" Amelia's eye sparkled. "I never imagined we'd walk through the streets of fairy land."

"To be honest, nor I." Laethae confessed.

The fairy princess travelled on foot with her friends.

"Usually we feyfolk just fly where we please." Laethae flexed her wings. "This, believe it or not, is a new experience for me."

"Huh. I've noticed that their architecture catered more for flight." Said Elsa.

"We'll take a shortcut to reach the suite. Please step inside the circle and do not stray." Laethae instructed.

The group, while slightly confused, did as they were told. Everyone stepped onto a twenty foot wide floor mural.

"Now hang on." Laethae chirped, with a hint of mischief.

The other teens barely registered the warning when all of a sudden the floor mural lit up with etheric blue glow. Gravity increased two fold, a translucent platform under there feet elevated the group high into the air.

"AHH! What's going on!?" Amelia yelped, dropping onto one knee.

Amelia wasn't the only one. Flynn, Wrenn, Aidan, Eri, Novak and Neoma joined her on the platform. It was a new and terrifying experience to ascend so quickly without warning.

"Ha. I got you good." Laethae laughed at the huddling group.

"Oh I see. So this must be some kind of elevator." Jim chuckled. He was the first to regain his footing.

"But where are the chains? The cogs and gears to pull us up?" Asked Neoma. Untangling herself to rise to her feet.

"Is it done by an artificial gravity generator?" Jim suggested. "Or maybe we're being beamed up!?"

Laethae let out a giggle.

"I'm not sure what those are, but I can assure you, it's nothing like that. What you are seeing is fey magic."

The glowing translucent platform at last elevated the group to their destination. Another floating island.

"Ah huh. I guess that must be magic too." Muttered Varian.

The group disembarked, gladden to walk on ground again that isn't see through.

"Many things in this city are powered by magic."

Laethae waved her hand and the walkway to the villa lit up. The double doors also opened by themselves.

"Wow. An actual magical door this time." Anna snickered.

"Rest up here tonight. Thank you again for sharing your mission with us." Laethae bowed her head. "I know your mission was a guarded secret. So I really appreciate this."

"It's fine. We have made plenty of exceptions in the past." Eri turned and grinned at Jim.

Melody and Ascot smiled.

"Yeah. Admittedly we've let more people into the loop than we planned. But it's worked so far." Wrenn shrugged. "And besides. Seeing that this is the last Unquiet Infiltrator, there is no risk of others getting wind of our activities."

"So we decided: 'Why the Hell not let you guys in on it?'" Chirped Amelia.

Laethae smiled at the group.

"Well, know that your openness shall not go to waste. My father will scour this city from gate to gutter. With our ability to read one another's souls we should weed out this infiltrator in no time."

•••

With wings buzzing, a fey guard spiralled the upper levels of a large conical tower. His eyes narrowed and his browed furrowed in concentration as he scanned the monolith.

This would be a double shift for the guard, but the lord of the Sky Fey had declared the emergency. And so, with their senses on high alert, all enforcers were to comb the city streets and towers for malicious aura.

"Great. It looks like the fairies have this one in the bag." Willow lounged back onto her seat. "Time to sit back and let it blow over."

"No, Wilhelmina. This is too easy." Warned Arianna.

"Arianna is right." Edmund agreed. "Do not forget that Maleficent is in the mix."

All eyes turned to Edmund. A great shadow was cast over his face.

"Ancient and masterful in the dark arts, her infamy is penned in countless manuscripts of The Dark Kingdom's library. A fairy herself, Maleficent would already know everything about the soul reading abilities of the Sky Fey."

"An infiltrator guided by Maleficent will be unlike anything we've seen so far." Marius muttered.

"I guess we shouldn't expect the final infiltrator to be easy." Frederic groaned.

•••

Meanwhile, Flynn and Jim were conducting their own infiltration mission. It was not going well.

WHAM!

The window slammed in Flynn's face.

"Guess that's not Laethae's room either." Said Jim.

Both Jim and Flynn stood on the board of Jim's flying windsurfer. Jim was operating the flying machine while Flynn did the serenading, or attempted to anyway. Flynn sagged his shoulders, feeling embarrassed and dejected. The mandolin in his hands rang a sad tune.

"With castles it's easy to guess which window belongs to a princess. With mansions? They are not so obvious." Flynn grumbled.

"Come on. Let's try the next window." Suggested Jim. He guided the windsurfer to the next window. "Hey, Flynn. Can I ask you a question? Do you, Aidan, and Novak always do this sort of thing? For girls, I mean."

Flynn looked at his driver.

Jim appeared unsure.

"After Aidan and Novak's encounter and now yours, I was wondering if this is something normal guys do... if they see a girl they like." Jim explained. There was a faint blush in his cheeks.

"Oh. I see now." Eugene grinned from ear to ear. "The boy wants to learn how to pick up girls. And who better than a Fitzherbert to teach him?"

Rapunzel rolled her eyes at her husband, but in good nature.

Anna bounced on her seat.

"I wonder who Jim has eyes for." Said Elsa.

"So who tickles your fancy?" Flynn asked. His demeanour was good natured, initially. But then Flynns eyes darkened, and his brows furrowed warningly. "Hey. It better not be Wrenn!"

The ear to ear grin vanished from Eugene's face.

Over at the other table. Ascot croaked, feeling threatened. Melody offered the jealous boy a pat of comfort.

"Wha-. Wrenn? No! It's-."

But before Jim could reveal his bombshell secret. Another bomb went off elsewhere.

BOOM!!!

•••

The very ground itself quaked. Great sink holes spanning the width of streets plunged into the darkness below.

The fairy guard surged back onto his feet. It was a difficult climb, but he was a professional. He shook his head and viciously stamped out the distractively dark thoughts. And not a second too soon.

The guard brought his spear up just in time to block an axe swing aimed at his face. He glared at his would be murderer and came face to face with a snarling mug. A familiar kind of snarling mug.

"Kristoff. Is that a troll!?" Anna exclaimed.

"It is!" Gasped Kristoff.

The former mountain man stared at the attacker. Kristoff could tell that the hostile was a different variant to his adopted kin. Taller and fleshier, but undeniably a troll.

The fairy guard took to the air to gain some distance. That's when he saw it. More trolls rushed into the fey city, hundreds more. With arms beared and curses on their lips, the Earth Fey surged from the sink holes to attack the Sky Fey. This was an all out attack!

The disciplined soldiers of the Sky Fey regrouped and responded immediately. Spears readied, they descended to meet the invaders.

Cassandra watched the battle intently. As an officer of the Coronan guards she made it a habit to examine fights from small to large scale battles.

The assortment of trolls, goblins, kobolds and imps were staunch, but the attackers lack the swiftness and grace of the defenders. The fairies picked off any weakened positions they saw, using their air superiority to out manoeuver the foot sloggers.

"Impressive." Cassandra commended.

The squadron ascended high into the air, taking formation and raising their polearms high. Bright lights lit up at the pommel ends of their spears.

Elsa gasped in astonishment. The spears that the fairy guards wielded also acted as magical staffs.

Like peals of thunder struck in the very centre of the city. The streets and glass buildings flashed with the discharge and detonations of magic missiles. The devastating counter offence scattered the invaders.

Elsa carefully observed the defenders. Battle tactics was never a topic of interest for her. Northuldra as of yet is still a developing nation, barely passing as a kingdom. There is very little in the way of a military force, and the world had been thankfully calm for Northuldra to require one.

Alas. The foresight provided by the magic screen has taught her otherwise. Though she loathed it, Elsa knew she will need to organise her Northuldran elemental shamans into a formidable fighting force.

And Elsa was not the only one.

"Well, colour me impressed." Said Cassandra. "I wonder how we can incorporate this kind of air combat."

Varian felt his wife's eyes on him. He can already guess that she is contemplating utilising their dirigibles as warships.

Rapunzel, Eugene, Frederic and Arianna also heard Cassandra's suggestion. They grew concerned.

This idea has been around for as long as there have been flying ships. But given that it has never been done before, nor was there any urgent need for an air force in the past, the royal family was content to shelve the idea. Alas, times have changed.

Rapunzel hated the idea, but knew it must be done.

The superior mobility and ranged attacks of the fairy guards have proven effective. The invaders were pushed back, but far from beat. The battle raged on.

•••

"AAAAHHH! I CAN'T GET ANY SLEEP!" Neoma complained, sitting up from her bed.

"I'll say. What's with all the racket outside!?" Eri grumbled, rolling onto her side.

Heavy footsteps thundered up the hallway toward the girls bedroom. Before Wrenn, Neoma or Eri could reorientate themselves, Aidan burst through the doors and without invitation.

"Girls! Get up! We're under attack!" Barked Aidan, halberd in hand.

"Urgh! This makes two nights without sleep!" Wrenn screamed into her pillow.

Aidan wasn't surprised, in fact he expected this order to be answered by groans and moans. But survival takes precedence. The girls scrambled out of their beds to gear up.

The carnage outside was horrendous, it intensified by the second. Even from high up on a floating island the teens could hear screaming, breaking glass, smashed wood, twisting metal, explosions and...snoring?

"Chuuu."

"SOMEONE CARRY AMY!" No use trying to wake her.

Novak also rushed into the bedroom, armed ready for bear. A little too heavily armed.

"Hey. Where are Jim and Flynn?" Asked Eri, noticing Novak carrying Flynn's and Jim's swords on his back.

"...They took Jim's wind surfer to the mansion. They're going to rescue Laethae." Aidan answered.

"Without their swords?"

"Umm..."

•••

CRBRUNG!!!

Flynn brought his mandolin down onto a goon's head. The sound of an acoustic crunch echoed up the tower.

Not sparing a second thought for his defeated foe, Flynn sprinted up the spiral staircase as fast as his feet could carry him.

"LAETHAE!"

It was a strange thing that the fairies would even build staircases, considering that they could fly. Flynn cursed, following the trail of destruction.

Behind Flynn ran Jim. The space farer thoughtfully looted the goon's mace, it was a one second delay he could ill afford, but it was foolish to go ahead without a weapon. Still, the delay cost him.

"Damn. Flynn sure can run!" Huffed Jim.

The two boys at last reached the top of the tower, a short hallway that lead to a pair of large double doors; Flynn and Jim's destination. There, barring their path was a mob of goons trying to smash their way into the safe room.

"Outta my way!" Flynn bowled into the mob, throwing a whirlwind of punches and kicks.

Jim joined the melee as well, though he fought with better precision. He slammed the stolen mace onto the foot of a troglodyte. The cave dweller screamed and folded, coming face first into Jim's uppercut. Another goon came charging forward, fully intending to run Jim through with a spear. Jim simply sidestepped the clumsy thrust, he raised his arm and clothes lined the goon.

"Jim's got some good moves too." Said Kristoff.

Hans nodded approvingly.

The parent group continued to watch the two boys enact the bloody yet melodic beat down.

CRBRUNG!!!

Flynn drove his mandolin into the gut of the final goon, then brought the musical instrument around and down onto the victim's head.

CRBRUNG!!!

The sweet sound of victory. Flynn and Jim were the last two standing, the hallway fight was won. But at what cost?

"Oh. Wrenn is going to kill me for this!" Flynn grimaced.

DWOONG!

The last remaining string of the mandolin snapped. The abused musical instrument seemed to agree to Flynn's dread.

"Flynn. Is that you out there?" Laethae's voice called. She could not be more than ten feet away, yet her voice was distant and muffled.

The doors to the safe room finally creaked open, but before Flynn knew it, a blur of pink slipped through the crack and tackled him.

"Oh Flynn. You came for me!" Laethae squealed.

The rest of the safe room's occupants shuffled out, carefully wading through the forest of storage shelves that made for a barricade. There were maids, cooks, general staff members and of course the royal family.

"Master Jim. And Master Flynn. Thank you for the rescue." Laeus chimed. "Another minute and they would have had us."

"Think nothing of it, ma'am." Replied Jim. "We're just glad we came in time."

One of the maids exited the safe room. Upon seeing Flynn, she immediately raised an accusing finger at him.

"Hey. That boy was singing outside my window earlier!"

"Sorry. Wrong room."

Flynn meekly hid his broken mandolin behind his back. Laethae stared at him.

"Don't worry, Flynn. She knows. It's the thought that counts." Kristoff laughed. The ice harvester was all too sympathetic about love gestures gone wrong.

Meanwhile, Eugene gave his wife a mischievous smirk.

"All that aside. The boy lives up to his name. Flynn just rescued a princess trapped in a tower. A good sign, eh Blondie?"

Rapunzel let out a chuckle. Finally, this was the kind of quality she wanted the feys to see.

Lord Kirion was the last to shuffle out of the safe room. He cast his glare over the hall and the mob of attackers sprawled on the floor.

"Trolls, imps and troglodytes. So the Earth Fey are attacking us!"

"Earth Fey?" Wondered Anna.

"They are a land based kingdom located South of here." Laeus explain, noticing Flynn and Jim's questioning expressions. "Our kingdom's relation with them has always been... unfriendly."

"That looked a lot more than unfriendly." Said Elsa.

"It's a full scale assault!" Flynn informed. "These guys came out of the ground and are now attacking your city."

"This mansion has been targeted. We need to get you out before more show up." Said Jim.

No one argued with the Lieutenant. Swiftly, everyone made there way down the stairways, into the main hall, towards the exit.

"Everyone, go on ahead. I need to make a detour." Flynn declared and split company.

"Flynn! Dammit!"

Jim cursed. Flynn was already out of his sights.

A confused and worried Laethae turned to pursue Flynn. But her father snatched her hand and pulled her along.

There, on their way they passed the trail of carnage left by the two human boys. Kirion wrinkled his nose at the sight of the pummelled goons.

"How were Earth Fey able to enter my floating island?"

Kirion didn't have to wait long to find out.

A portal of swirling empiric energy materialised in the centre of the grand hall. The implacable darkness of the portal dimmed the flames of any candles that still stood. But it was who stepped out of the portal that really sucked the light from the room.

She seemed to suck the light out of Arendelle too.

"Well. Hello, Kirion and Laeus." Maleficent chuckled. "How nice to see you two again."

"I am sorry I cannot return the pleasantry." Laeus snarled.

Kirion strode to stand at the head of the group, making sure to place himself in front of his wife and daughter.

"Maleficent. You are the one behind this unprovoked attack! Why!?"

"Oh, Kirion. Had you agreed to pledge yourselves to me last night, you and your Sky Fey would have my protection from the storm that is to come. Alas. Your poor choice or perhaps indecision has lead you to this fate."

Maleficent spread her arms, gesturing at the ruined mansion and the chaos beyond.

"It should have been the Earth Fey at your mercy. Instead, you are now at theirs." Maleficent sighed, almost remorsefully. "It is such a disappointment, really. You were my first choice, I was even generous enough to present the offer to you first."

"Well, I'm glad to disappoint you." Kirion said proudly.

"So Gruck has chosen to side with evil! Attacking the innocent just to save his own scaly hide!?" Shrieked Laeus.

"I gave The Troll King the same offer I gave you." Maleficent sighed. "Gruck thanks you for refusing, so he could accept."

"Then he has damned his own soul, and those of his vassals!" Kirion gritted his teeth.

"True. But he will be safe from the storm. You however, shall not live to see this night's end."

Maleficent tapped her staff on the marble floor, a portal appeared. Out of the whirlpool of darkness and into the material world stomped a pair of hideous creatures. The Unquiets flanked Maleficent on either side.

Laeus and the accompanying mansion staff shrank back in horror. Even Kirion faltered in his stance.

More portals materialised around the hall. Imps, trolls, an assortment of mystical creatures stepped out. One of the imps came too close. The unquiet on Maleficent's left lashed out and nearly decapitated the offending imp.

"You promised us protection from these... freaktures!" The Imp protested.

Maleficent raised her staff towards Kirion as a response.

"Earn it." She said flatly.

Hesitantly, the goons converged on the fairies, with weapons raised.

•••

The battle in the city streets raged on. A young fairy lord took to the field, plunging into the ranks of the invaders like a black comet. The flash of a red blade or the glint of onyx midnight armour was the last image many attackers saw, before their minds went blank.

"He's good." Hans muttered.

"Is that sword made from a red gemstone?" Asked Kristoff.

"Corundum. That sword is a solid length of ruby!" Varian marvelled. "The hardness of rubies are second only to diamonds. How was it made and shaped?"

The Stabbington brothers grinned widely. Eugene rubbed his hands together and eyed the sword greedily. Even as a king, some habits cannot die.

Halekaith stepped over the shredded remains of his latest foe, one of dozens littered at his feet. He cared little for the grunts, he was a great swordsman, he cared only for powerful foes. He was about to meet one.

Acting on pure instinct, Halekaith threw himself to the side, narrowly avoiding something large and heavy that smashed onto the ground where he previously stood. A slain beetle-man was hit instead, the cadaver burst at both ends in a graphic explosion of green ichor.

Halekaith coughed in disgust, it would have been an unpleasant end for him. He glared at his would be killer, a tall grey woman with the webbed wings of a bat and a tail like a reptile's."

"A gargoyle!" Exclaimed Edmund.

And not just any gargoyle. This one has terrorised the lands of men since the days of yore. Within the library of The Dark Kingdom, recordings of her heinous deeds are listed in volumes. A living bane upon humanity, and so the humans have given this gargoyle a name to match her persona.

"Demona!" Halekaith spat.

"Well well, Lord Halekaith. How unfortunate that we find each other on opposite sides of battle." Demona sneered.

Halekaith raised his red sword and brought it down toward his foe. Demona met the blow with her barbed gauntlet.

"Why!? Why do you attack the Sky Fey!?" Halekaith pushed against his foe.

"Do not take this attack personally, little boy. My true enemy is and always will be the human race."

Demona swung her arm, throwing the fairy across the street, a taste of a gargoyle's awesome strength.

"The Sky Fey are but a stepping stone on my path to revenge. If you must blame someone for this carnage, blame your idiot king. Had he chosen to side with Maleficent first, you and I would be fighting side by side, and the Earth Fey would be my stepping stone instead."

"She really doesn't care who she sides with! As long as she gets her claws on us!" Kristoff was aghast.

"But why an attack? Why any attack!?" Halekaith demanded.

At that, Demona passed Halekaith a smile, every bit as sinister and unnerving as Maleficent's.

"Because it is evil."

•••

Back at the mansion, Maleficent watched the armed trolls and imps advance on Kirion and his group.

"Do not forget. The Unquiets seek to snuff out the light of this world, thus they are drawn to attack those with good hearts. Only by giving yourselves to evil will the darkness in your hearts hide you from their sights."

"That explains a lot." Rapunzel blurted.

"It's terrible!" Cried Anna.

As if to make Maleficent's point, the two Unquiets flanking her snarled and thrashed at the trolls and imps. The terrified goons needed no further encouragement. Wordlessly, they made to hasten their deadly advance on the Sky Fey's royal family.

FDONK!!!

The hall echoed with the sound of someone's skull meeting a frying pan.

"Sorry I ducked out back there. Had to make a stop at the kitchen." Said Flynn, stepping over the unconscious imp.

"You broke company to grab some frying pans!?" Shrieked Jim. "Couldn't you have just scooped up a discarded weapon!?"

An angry Jim held up his looted mace while also gesturing at the plethora of swords, axes and clubs littered about the mansion.

"I like the feel of a frying pan in my hand. Plus, it gave me an excuse to raid the pantry." Flynn wiped some jam from his face. "And speaking of pans and pantry..."

Maleficent froze. Humans on the island of Faerie, inside the mansion of Lord Kirion!?

Flynn turned his gaze to the Earth Fey.

Rapunzel's breath was caught in her throat.

The audience collectively sat straighter. Flynn's eyes were hard like steel, far from the otherwise "immature and dumb" Flynn.

"Do not think your evil deeds will protect you from the Unquiets. When you have a choice between a pastry or an onion, obviously you'd eat the pastry. But when all the pastries are gone, and hunger sets in again, you will inevitably come back to eat that onion."

Flynn pointed his frying pan at the assembled goons.

"Making yourselves rotten and disgusting will only protect you temporarily. Make no mistake. When all the good guys are dead, the Unquiets WILL come for you. They hate all forms of life, they hate it like you cannot imagine. You will die under their claws, your final thoughts will be of how you brought on your fate, and you'll wonder how life would be, had you made the right choice when it mattered."

Kirion and Laeus stared at the boy, astonished.

Flynn's words bit deep, the goons faltered. Several took uneasy glances back at Maleficent and her malevolent retinue, they did not doubt for a moment that the snarling monstrosities would turn on them when the Sky Fey are finished. As for Maleficent herself? The Mistress of Evil's displeasure is easily earned. The wrath of Maleficent is legendary among the feyfolk. All eyes were on her.

But if Maleficent felt vexed by the disobedience of the Earth Feys, she did not show it. Maleficent's narrowed eyes were focussed solely on the human interloper.

All was silent.

Maleficent did not speak, the distant sound of battle seemed to fade, as if distancing further. The deafening silence dragged on, it grew unbearable. In a way, this was even worse than wrathful screaming the goons so dreaded.

Then it came, Maleficent broke the stand off. The master sorceress swung her staff in a dramatic arc, drawing on the air of magic that surrounded them all.

"EVERYONE TAKE COVER!!" Jim yelled.

With his arms stretched, Jim ploughed over as many of the fairies as he could. They fell behind a mass of broken furniture, a hastily erected barricade the staff had pulled together at the beginning of the attack, no doubt.

Flynn caught sight of the green embers beginning to spark at the head of Maleficent's staff and knew what was coming next. Flynn stood his ground.

Maleficent fired her magic missile of death at the human. It struck Flynn dead on.

Rapunzel yelped.

KABOOM!!!

The blast set the building's lavished interior ablaze. Green fires engulfed the walls and pillars of the halls, the same green fire the audience had seen Maleficent reduce men into charred bones in an instant with.

The goons fled the fiery chaos.

Maleficent straightened herself, waiting for the flames to clear. She was expecting... something.

Rapunzel and Eugene waited anxiously.

The two flanking Unquiets erupted into fits of vicious barks. Maleficent's eyes narrowed. Striding out of the bale fire was the human, completely unharmed, and smirking at her.

"Hehehe. I can do that too."

A black haired Flynn raised his hand and blasted his Sphere of Decay back at Maleficent.

The dark fey slammed the pommel of her staff on the ground, a magical barrier appeared and shielded her from the attack. Her retinue was not so protected. The two Unquiets withered alive. Howling in confusion, their unworldly bodies broke down and crumbled into ash. Maleficent wrinkled her nose, the stench of fell magic was strong.

"Now's our chance. Everyone, into the tunnel!" Yelled Kirion.

Laeus raised her hand, lighting up a series of blue runes on an inconspicuous part of the wall. Said wall vanished into thin air, revealing a hidden passage.

"Whoa!" Exclaimed Jim.

"GO! GO!"

Kirion shoved the dazed teenager into the tunnel then ushered his wife, daughter and his staff inside.

Almost everyone made it inside. But alas, a bolt of lightning struck the wall above the tunnel entrance, a mass of rubble and burning debris collapsed, barring the escape for one person.

"FLYNN!!!" Yelled Jim.

"Oh no!" Cried Arianna.

"This is bad." Frederic gulped.

"Flynn!" Cried Laethae.

Pushing past Jim, Laethae pressed herself against the smoking rubble. Through the gaps Laethae saw Flynn turn to face the source of the lightning.

Flynn glared, Maleficent glared back.

"Flynn!" Laethae cried again.

"Go, Laethae. Escape with the others. Jim will protect you." Flynn spoke softly.

"I'll do that, Flynn. Then I'll return to back you up." Jim promised. "Laethae. We have to go!"

Flynn really wanted to turn to face Laethae, to look at her one last time. Sadly, he couldn't risk taking his eyes off his opponent.

Laethae knew this, she could sense his desire. But he couldn't sense hers. Eri's words echoed in Laethae's memories.

"Flynn, listen. I... I... Lo-. WAAHH-!"

A furious Kirion rushed back and roughly pulled Laethae and Jim away and off to safety.

It was done. The royal family of the Sky Fey have escaped, the goons have long fled. It was just Flynn and Maleficent now, standing amidst the ruined, burning mansion, as their arena.

The flames were spreading, expensive wooden furniture crackled, smoke blackened the once pristine alabaster walls.

"So how do you want to do this? Range combat, close quarters? Or would you rather we continue this stare off until the roof drops on us?" Flynn sniped.

Maleficent's glare intensified. Her quarry may have escaped, her goons have fled. But she cared not. A far greater cause for concern now stood before Maleficent.

"It was you!" Maleficent snarled "The death magic you conjured. It bears the likeness of those traces found on Brad the Defacer."

Maleficent raised an accusing finger at Flynn.

"You are The Interloper, who has sabotaged our plans!"

"Guilty as charged. Those Infiltrators and Portal Guardians were fun. But in the end, they were poultry for slaughter." Flynn laughed wickedly, almost like a villain himself.

"Poor Brad was too slow to save Kroza from being cut down. And let's not forget sweet little Zhan Tiri. It was too bad you left the party early. Poor Zhan Tiri could have really used a friend when I plunge her into the cold embrace of space." Flynn laughed evilly.

"Taking a bit too much credit, isn't he?" Said Sideburns.

"I believe Flynn is trying to fool Maleficent into believing that he acted alone." Said Hans.

"He's sure giving off a threat level to suggest he could." Kristoff shuddered.

With black smokes of death billowing from his mouth and hands, Flynn slowly approached. Each step he took left scorch marks on the marble floors. His pitched black eyes narrowed at Maleficent.

"No matter, this meeting was inevitable. It's your turn, Maleficent. Death has come for you!"

For a brief moment, the audience forgot that Maleficent was the villain and Flynn was the hero.

•••

"HRRAAAGH!!!"

Demona's fierce battle shout rung against the glass towers. Gliding through the air, she brought her weapon down on her opponent.

Halekaith weaved out of the way of the vicious swing, soaring higher into the sky. That was how they fought, the two duelled in the air.

The feeling of awe and intrigue was widely shared.

Halekaith descended fast, his hornet like wings propelled him to speeds that far exceeded Demona, who could only glide.

SLEEEEETCH!!!

"BLAAARGH!" Demona screamed.

The gargoyle crashed into a balcony. Demona curled into an almost fetal position, the pain writ on her expression belied her injury. A gnarly gash ran across Demona's stomach.

Halekaith landed before the fallen gargoyle. The fairy lord raised his ruby sword, ready for the killing blow.

"It's over, Demona. Your seven hundred year old enmity can finally be put to rest, along with you."

"You cannot kill me, Halekaith. I am beyond death's reaches." Demona snarled. "As for my enmity? Oh, if only you could experience even a fraction of the resentment that I feel!"

The ancient gargoyle was defeated, but unbroken. Her resolve burned ever greater, spurred by Halekaith's careless choice of words. Demona rose to her taloned feet, she cast a glare of bestial rage at Halekaith, a look that would turn a man to stone. Indeed, it gave Halekaith pause.

"I curse you, Halekaith. Through ill fate and betrayal, your devotion, your dedication, the loyalty you so passionately take up for your lord and land. All shall be undone." Demona prophesied. "You will know through pain, the devastation of an identity denied to you, the pillar you once stood upon, crumble under your feet, leaving you without grounds to stand on. With this pain shall come hate. It will twist and distort you, warping all that was once noble. You will be driven to destroy, to commit to the annihilation of all that you once stood for. Then, when you are truly lost, swallowed by the darkness, when your kin lie dead at your feet, and your hands stained red... then will you know a measure of the resentment I feel."

Halekaith plunged his ruby sword into Demona's heart, ending the gargoyle and her maddening speech. He pulled the blade free with a wet squelch, Halekaith took several steps back, he needed to recompose himself. The words of the gargoyle affected him deeply.

"So, is he really cursed?" Arianna gestured at the screen.

"Can Demona really do that?" Asked Frederic.

"Hmmm." Edmund rubbed his chin.

Halekaith wondered the same thing. Fortunately or unfortunately the blare of a siren and the flash of a signal flare pulled Halekaith's mind away. It was an evacuation signal, they have lost.

Halekaith let out a curse, and took to the skies on buzzing red wings, leaving the cadaver behind.

With Halekaith's departure, the screen remained fixated on Demona...ominously. When it appeared that something might be about to happen... the screen cut.

•••

While the bulk of the guards fought the emerging invaders, another contingent oversaw the evacuation of citizens. Their methods were...

"FLEE, FLEE FOR YOUR LIVES!!!" A guard yelled at the top of his lungs, his arms flailing, making a scene with his panic.

"Seriously!?" Balked Anna.

The citizens, spurred into motion, they screamed and fled.

"In an emergency. You never ever want to cause more havoc!" Elsa reprimanded the screen.

There was a reason why one must never scream "FIRE!" in a crowded place.

Thankfully, there was no havoc to be had. There was no pushing, no tripping and no trampling. The roads were clear, they weren't even used. People just took to the air and flew away.

The audience watched with raised eyebrows. It was like throwing a rock at a flock of birds, except Humanoids. Some may even find it amusing.

The crowd dispersed in three seconds.

"That's impressive." Kristoff whistled. "Much faster than our evacuation, when the spirits called on Elsa."

"Oh. It's definitely above and beyond better than ours. That's for sure." Eugene grimaced.

"What happened?" Asked Kristoff.

"Panicked crowd, single narrow bridge leading off the island, Crazy Cassandra on our heels. Bad combination." Eugene cringed.

That earned him an elbow from Rapunzel.

•••

Unfortunately, not all citizens were flight capable. There were many imps, trolls, and other ground based creatures who chose to live among the sky fey, putting there unique and invaluable skills to good use. They were sadly easy pickings in the attack.

One such group manage to exit the city but found themselves cornered by the invading force. Men women and children huddled on the grass, completely powerless against their former kin who slowly advanced on them.

The attacking forces were not completely without reservation. To attack any civilian was hard, but to attack their own kind was soul crushing. Many of them did not wish for this invasion. But what can they do? They cannot defy their king.

Aidan burst out of the bushes and swung his halberd in a deadly arc. The lead imp blocked the attack with his axe, but the force of Aidan's swing threw the imp off his feet and smashed into four of his comrades.

Eri, Amelia and Novak also leapt from the shadows. A loud spluttering flying machine hobbled precarious in the air overhead. The sudden appearance of the teens surprised both the victims and victimisers. And the parent group.

"There they are!" Anna huffed.

"I am so glad they managed to slip past the fighting without harm." Said Elsa.

But then again? The newly acquired arrows and scorch marks on the space ship suggested a different story.

Varian grumbled. By now, it would not surprise him if the teens had elected to dive face first into the fighting and come out the opposite side. They were reckless enough to do that.

One of the trolls stabbed a percussion device into the dirt and rang the instrument. The sound travelled underground, a call for aid.

The teens felt light tremors under their feet, almost immediately the ground split and a dozen sinkholes collapsed around them. The drumming of many feet and the chorus of war chants herald the rapid emerging of the underground enemy reinforcement.

"Neoma!" Aidan shouted up at the ship.

On order, Neoma jumped over the railings, off the spaceship, swung down a few trees and finally landed gracefully amidst the many sink holes. Dismissively did the Black Rock Alchemist flick her wrist, a simple action with surprisingly catastrophic results.

"Yup. Those guys are screwed." Said Cassandra.

Hundreds suddenly became trapped underground, their screams trumpeted out the sinkholes.

"No one is leaving unless I say so." Neoma snapped her fingers. More black rocks erupted around them, a warning to the invaders on the surface.

"AAAAAAHHHH!" Screamed a little girl troll.

A gangly warrior troll had his arm around the child's neck and a dagger held dangerously close to her head.

"NOBODY MOVE!!!" The hostage taker yelled.

The two opposing forces entered a stand off. A delicate situation the teens have found themselves in.

"Release my comrades. Or the little one gets it!"

The troll held his hostage close. He had not anticipated humans, he doubt that humans would even care that he held a troll hostage. His mind raced, he dared not even blink. But blinked he inevitably did.

Novak saw it.

The troll blinked several more times in quick succession, it was only natural after holding ones eyes open for so long. It shall cost him dearly.

The distance between Novak and the trolls was twenty feet. Yet Novak crossed that distance in the blink of an eye, literally!

A flash, the whistle of parting air, the thump of a dropped object, and the hissing of spraying liquid. The troll released the hostage, fell to his knees and screamed in shock. On his right arm, just below the elbow was a stump! The troll screamed and screamed, his life blood hosing the grass like a geyser.

Aidan watched the little one run back to her mother's arms, he saw the carnage of the attack when they had flown over the battlefield. Aidan made his decision.

"These guys are just like raiders, so we treat them like raiders! KILL THEM ALL!"

"AIDAN!" Anna and Kristoff exclaimed.

Neoma pulled out a bomb and lit its fuse. Novak raised his armblade for a finishing strike on the amputee, who will very soon become a 'decapitee.'

"WAIT!!!" Someone shouted. "Wait wait wait wait wait wait!"

The grim moment paused. All eyes turned to the short round figure running out of the woods on tiny feet and waving his tiny arms.

"Grand Pabbie!?" Exclaimed Kristoff.

"Great Grand Pabbie!?" Gasped Aidan.

The flailing Grand Pabbie at last came to a stop at Aidan's feet.

The group of teens were surprised by the sudden appearance of the ancient. Indeed the sudden appearance shocked all the trolls and imps present, many of the invaders even lowered their weapons and knelt.

"Grand Pabbie must have a reputation on Faerie." Said Elsa.

"Aidan, my boy. You must not harm these poor souls." Grand Pabbie pleaded.

"...Alright." Aidan shrugged. "Everyone, belay the kill order!"

Just like that.

"BLARGH!!!" Anna spluttered.

"Gee, Aidan. You need to put in more thought when deciding to kill or spare people!" Kristoff scolded.

Neoma, who stood over a sinkhole with a lit bomb in her hand, simply removed the fuse and threw the sparkling wire into the hole instead. A yelp of pain and a curse echoed out. The victim bemoaned his great misfortune, never realising how much worse it could have been.

"Young Aidan. This was not our intended meeting time." Grand Pabbie scolded. "The plan was to act before the attack took place."

"Sorry for arriving late, Great Gramps. We had to take a detour. Though I'm sure you'll be happy to know that we stopped an asteroid from hitting the Earth." Aidan smiled.

In all his years, Grand Pabbie has seen it all and heard it all. But this was news that gave even the millennia old troll pause.

"I see. That is more than reason enough. Good work, my boy. Though we will have to redraw our plans."

Aidan knelt down and put a comforting hand on Grand Pabbie's bushy shoulder.

"Don't worry about it, Great Grand Pabbie. We'll work it out or wing it." Aidan smiled.

"Amy. Patch up our friend the Hostage Taker." Eri said.

Amelia knelt in front of the amputee. Her Keyblade raised and white hot, she levelled the steaming blade head towards the troll's stump.

"This will only hurt A LOT!!!" Amelia chirped.

The troll squirmed in horror.

"AMY!!!" Shrieked Novak. He ran over, frantically waving the severed arm of the troll.

"Haha. I'm just messing with him. I didn't forget, this time."

Amelia gave Novak a playful wink, then took the arm and rammed the severed appendage back into the troll's stump. The foliage ruffled with the troll's screams of agony.

"Heal." Amelia casted Cura.

"It's nice to know that there's now a third member in the group that can perform healing magic." Said Cassandra.

"Hmm." Everyone agreed it was a comforting knowledge.

"But wait. Where is Wrenn?" Rapunzel Asked.

•••

"Damn!" Wrenn garbled, her curse distorted by the powerful winds that batted against her.

Little Big Guy soared over the besieged city, his massive bulk cutting through the air without resistance. The same could not be said for his passenger.

Rapunzel and Eugene grimaced.

There was no saddle and no reins to hold onto. Wrenn was forced to latch on for dear life, her efforts were nonetheless impressive. Little Big Guy ducked and weaved around the clusters of floating islands all the while evading the occasional stray magic missiles, strays that grew worryingly more frequent.

Several blinding flashes, deafening bangs and concussive explosions from the missiles almost dismounted Wrenn. A few islands that were hit, cracked open sending out debris and more perilous obstacles for the duo.

Frederic's legs turned to jelly, again.

Despite the turbulent flight, Wrenn clung to the dragon's nape like a barnacle. Fuelled not by fear or survival instinct, but annoyance.

"Seriously, Flynn!? You just had to go serenade Laethae on the night of the attack!"

The sleep deprived sister growled angrily at the thought of her brother. Many viewers were flabbergasted when the screen showed Wrenn digging her nails into the dragon's scales. The extremely rare material that is famously used to forge legendary armour, folded under Wrenn's grip.

"Don't ever let her grab you by the neck." Melody whispered.

Ascot grimaced.

Wrenn caught sight of an entourage exiting the floating island. At the head was Kirion, casting a spell of clouds to mask their escape. A good sign, Wrenn thought. She prepare to follow. However, a windsurfer broke out of the cloud and made a beeline back to the island.

The fact that the mansion is engulfed in green flames told Wrenn why Jim was flying back.

"DAMMIT, FLYNN! MY MANDOLIN BETTER NOT BE BROKEN!!!"

•••

An explosion rocked the floating island, the blast from within the royal family's mansion blew out a large section of the wall and surrounding windows. It was not a good sign for the mandolin.

"HYAA!"

Flynn launched a Sphere of Decay at Maleficent, one of many. But as with all his previous attempts, Maleficent needed only to wave her staff to negate them.

The Sphere of Decay dissipated. Flynn cursed.

Maleficent felt a burning sensation on her skin. She looked down at her robe and found the material singed. Indeed everything in the room was corroding. Maleficent wrinkled her nose, the Smog of Death was foul.

"You will not have the field advantage!" Maleficent declared.

Waving her staff, Maleficent dispelled the corrosive smog.

"Just like that!?" Cassandra gaped. "Neoma had such a hard time with that smog!"

Going on the offensive, Maleficent cast the spell of elemental force at her foe.

Flynn dove across the dining room, sliding down the long tree themed table, knocking down and smashing expensive crockery in his haste to avoid the lightning bolt. The table exploded into burning splinters. A narrow escape for Flynn.

That was how the battle between the Sun Prince and the Mistress of Evil went on. The pair exchanged projectiles. But it was clear who had the advantage.

"You are no match for her in magic, Flynn!" Cried Rapunzel. "Try a different tactic!"

Rapunzel gauged the situation, wondering how she herself would fight Maleficent if she had her magic hair.

Growing impatient with the slippery human, Maleficent uttered the incantations for a new spell.

"A forest of thorns shall be his tomb, borne through the air in a fog of doom. Now go with the curse, and serve me well. Within Kirion's castle, cast my spell!"

The ground split, the walls cracked, the ceilings ruptured. The forest of thorns as conjured by Maleficent sprouted from all directions, filling the dining room. Flynn found himself raised off his feet, the unnatural vines constricting around him, the thorns piercing his skin.

"FLYNN!" Eugene shouted, seeing blood.

"Now I have you." Maleficent snarled.

The Mistress of Evil fired one more bolt of lightning at her ensnared foe.

Flynn did not stay ensnared for long. Gathering his powers, Flynn reduced the thorn forest to dust. He thrust his palms out just in time to fire his own attack.

The two destructive projectiles collided, meeting each other at the centre of the room with earth shattering force.

"GYAAHHH!!!" Flynn yelled with exertion, hands forward, pushing against Maleficent's lightning bolt. It was a losing battle.

Maleficent smiled. This match was hers.

The powers were too much for the Sphere of Decay. Flynn's magic missile ruptured, the explosion of death and lightning shattered everything in the room. All four walls were blown from their foundations, a part of the ceiling gave out, the floor of the room above crashed down, a cloud of suffocating dust was raised.

The audience remained quiet, they were mostly quiet throughout the battle.

Maleficent whipped at the air with the long sleeves of her robe. The cloud was thick, it obscured her sights, but only briefly did it linger. The high altitude winds let in by the absence of walls and ceilings quickly saw to clearing the dust.

The devastation was horrendous! Flynn was nowhere to be seen.

Rapunzel bit her lip, was her son buried under the rubbles?

Maleficent certainly believed so. Staff aimed at the collapsed roof, she approached with caution, this interloper has already surprised her aplenty. She was about to be surprised again.

A sharp movement of yellow flickered in the corner of her eye. Maleficent slammed her staff pommel onto the ruined floor, a null barrier erected around her, ready to dispel the incoming magical projectile. It was indeed a projectile, just not the magical kind of projectile.

The frying pan passed through the null barrier without resistance. Maleficent took a hit straight in the face.

FDONK!!!

Flynn bursts into the room again, this time with golden hair. He was shirtless too.

Rapunzel gasped. She caught a glimpse of the injuries Flynn received from the explosion. Flynn had parts of his chest and face blasted skinless. Thankfully he regrew those quickly enough.

Maleficent rubbed her throbbing cheek bone. She was stabbed in the heart once, but this was the first time she has been struck in the face.

FGLONK!!! That's the second.

With frying pan in hand, Flynn wailed on Maleficent with swing after swing. Maleficent tried to force some distance with her staff, but Flynn pursued like a ball on a string.

"This is the range I excel in."

Flynn ducked under Maleficent's guard and drove the pan into her stomach. With Maleficent folded, Flynn wheeled the pan down and around, the head came back up, smacking Maleficent in the forehead.

Maleficent is in serious trouble.

"WOOH. THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE, FLYNN!" Rapunzel cheered. "Couldn't have done it better myself."

"WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO KILL YOU!?" Yelled Maleficent, barely managing to block a swing.

"Aww, don't tell me you're pooped out already. You've only just managed to get past my first form." Flynn taunted. "This is the final boss level. Expect to face another nine forms before this is over, each one worst than the last."

Maleficent did not know if the now blond boy was bluffing or serious. Either way, he infuriated her. Maleficent recalled her battle with Prince Phillip. She wasn't sure how he seemingly became a mute half way through that story, but she was glad he didn't say a word when they fought. This boy however?

"You know what I'm gonna do after I kill you?" Flynn grinned. "Take your hat."

"Hat? What hat? What nonsense do you spou-. AAAARRRRGHHH!"

"Flynn is one annoying opponent in a fight." Said Lady Caine.

Cassandra agreed. "He definitely got that one from Eugene."

The bruised and battered Maleficent let out a roar of unfettered fury. Squeezing her staff with both hands in white knuckled grips, she swung with all her might.

Flynn ducked under the swing. Coming up from behind, he wrapped his arms around Maleficent's waist and-.

"Oooow!"

Flynn suplex slammed Maleficent onto the broken table, horns first.

Ready to finish the fight, Flynn put Maleficent in a choke hold. Maleficent in desperation thrashed like a beached shark, but her captor held on, trying to twist her neck.

"Come on, where is it? Let's hear that snap!?" Flynn grunted.

The struggles and thrashes continued. It was taking longer than expected.

'Gee. For a tall lanky woman, Maleficent sure has a thick neck!' Flynn complained.

It only got thicker.

"Oh no." Rapunzel grimaced.

Maleficent the Dark Fey, now the Dark Dragon rose to her full height, grazing the ceiling of the room above.

The colour slowly drained from Elsa's features, the town grew cold.

"Oh right. I forgot you could do that." Flynn grumbled.

Maleficent reared back her head and roared, shaking the foundations of the mansion. Any glass windows that were not already destroyed certainly are now.

Finally having had enough, Maleficent slammed herself onto the floor, grinding the tiles, performing what might resemble the Death Roll of a crocodile.

"GAAH!" Flynn coughed. A stream of blood squirt from his squished lungs.

Splotches of white burned in Flynn's vision, it hurt! His bones broke and his organs squished. It was a strange irony that he had begun with trying to break or crush Maleficent's neck. But now it was Maleficent's neck that's crushing him!

"Flynn!" Cried Eugene.

Maleficent raked Flynn off of her. Holding him in her gigantic paw, Maleficent whined back and threw Flynn across the hall and crashing into the study room. If the impact wasn't enough to flatten him this time, the mountain of books that buried him undoubtedly did the trick.

The dark dragon opened her great maw, a scorching payload of glowing bale fire blasted into the study room. Another thunderous explosion rocked the burning mansion and spreading the fire. Thousands of painstakingly handwritten books were obliterated in an instant.

"This must be Belle's worst nightmare." Adam muttered.

Belle swatted her husband's arm. Obviously she was more concerned for the boy than the books.

The dragon shuffled into the burning ruins. Perching herself in the centre of the room, Maleficent awaited Flynn's next move.

Over at the main table, Rapunzel and her family watched in silence. Everyone waited anxiously.

Flynn burst out of the burning pile of books and shelves, sprinting at Maleficent, frying pan raised.

"I thought I made it clear that your Bale Fire attack won't work on me!" A black haired Flynn yelled, bringing the pan down on the dragon's snout.

DING!!!

Sadly, being a big dragon, frying pans don't quite work on Maleficent either.

Maleficent swiped at him. The dragon's paw was as big as Flynn himself, Flynn's back was slammed onto the ground, the paw pinned him in place. Flynn struggled, but try as he might, he could not break free.

Maleficent narrowed her reptilian eyes at her foe.

"You have reverted. It seems you have no more surprises for me." The dragon spoke without moving her mouth.

"Finally saw through my bluff, did ya? Aww, but when I told you I had nine other forms, you should have seen the look on your face." Flynn laughed, despite the pressure on his chest.

"I HAVE LONG HAD ENOUGH OF YOU! YOUR INSOLENCE ENDS HERE!!!" The dragon roared.

Maleficent's jaws widened.

Rapunzel's hands flew over her mouth. Maleficent intends to bite Flynn's head off

Flynn grimaced. He doubt he'll recover from that.

PSCHHUU!!!

The powerful crimson beam shot from a charged laser pistol reddened the otherwise green lit halls of Kirion's mansion. The laser struck Maleficent in the crest of her head.

BOOM!!!

The dragon shrieked and rolled backward, releasing her captive. Flynn laid flattened by the blast, he was just as confused and disoriented, he did not know what was going on even when a pair of arms hauled him to his feet. Flynn's rescuer hurried him away from the thrashing dragon.

"Thank goodness." Rapunzel breathed heavily.

"Gee wiz. They really have to stop raising our blood pressure like this!" Eugene rubbed his temples.

"Flynn! Flynn, are you alright!?" Jim yelled.

Flynn appeared to have trouble hearing or seeing him. Jim wasn't surprise, Flynn was dangerously close to the blast, it could take Flynn several minutes to recover.

"Thanks, Jim! I owe you one!" Flynn cheered almost instantly, fully coherent and running on his own. Much to Jim's astonishment.

Maleficent also recovered. She was much tougher than a wyvern, the headshot merely angered her more.

"TAKE COVER!" Jim yelled. Bowling Flynn into a recreation room.

A wall of green fire filled the hall where the two boys occupied a split second ago. Flynn and Jim, on knees and elbows, the two boys scrambled to take cover behind a bar.

"Here. I brought you something." Jim handed Flynn his two swords.

"Thanks. Oh I missed these." Flynn gleefully claimed his belongings. "Wish I had them when I went close quarters with Maleficent. She'd be an oozing pile of cold cuts right now."

But instead, the boys find themselves trapped with a fifty foot dragon breathing down on them.

"Not that I'm being ungrateful, Jim. But I really hope you've brought more than just my swords and your gun."

The green flames jerked, blown erratically by a sudden and strong shift in the air. Something approaching the mansion has changed the wind, something large.

"Reinforcements." Answered Jim. "Coming in hot!"

Another part of the building imploded, bricks and mortar showered the hunched form of Maleficent. The dark dragon roared in outrage, baring her fangs in contempt at the new interloper.

If there was one thing more destructive than a dragon inside a building, it's two dragons.

"EEEAAAARRGH!!" Little Big Guy roared back.

Pascal bounced on his tiny feet. Pride filled the little chameleon's large heart.

The huge purple dragon tackled the dark dragon, the two gigantic reptiles bowled into the indoor swimming pool room, raising a small tidal wave within the ruins. Thrashing and biting, Little Big Guy and Maleficent demolished several more walls and essential foundations.

"That's some reinforcement."

Flynn and Jim picked themselves up from the soaked rubbles. The rapid squelching sound of running boots alerted the boys of another new comer. Wrenn burst into the rec room, her eyes darted straight at Flynn, her expression; horrified.

"YOU TRIED TO TAKE MALEFICENT ON YOUR OWN!?"

"I had her on the ropes." Flynn assured.

Wrenn wasn't listening, she scanned her brother intently. Flynn was in good shape, but the torn shirt, made virtually shirtless, and Flynn's amply bloodstained chest spoke of a different story. Wrenn grew angry and worried, the latter worried Flynn in turn.

"Don't worry about me. Did you run into Laethae!?" Flynn changed the subject. He turned to face Jim. "Did she and her family make it out? Are they alright!?"

"She's fine. They're all headed to their safe house." Said Jim. "You'll be happy to know that Laethae couldn't stop asking me about you. She asked if I thought you could prevail. I had to be honest, I told her I only knew you as long as she did."

"Aww. She really does care." Flynn cooed.

Wrenn swatted Flynn on the back of his head.

Rapunzel finally allowed herself to relax. Having Flynn and Wrenn together in the same location eased her anxiety immensely. But then again, this is Maleficent they face.

Maleficent let out a feral roar, shoving at Little Big Guy. The monster battle had devolved into ground wrestling, as most street fights tend to do. The two dragons grappled and tumbled like a pair of cats fighting.

"FILTHY ANIMAL!!!"

Maleficent lashed out, driving Little Big Guy back with a vicious tail sweep, a moments respite from the enemy dragon. But there is no rest for the wicked. Wrenn, Jim and Flynn were on Maleficent in an instant.

It was four against one, she was now fighting a unit. Maleficent raged. She no longer had the advantage in brute force, and in her dragon form she is unable to cast or dispel magic. The two boys blasted at her, one with death magic, the other with some luminous weapon not of magical nature. The worst was yet to come.

Wrenn tensed her body, clenched her fists, and to the amazement of all who witnessed, she levitated. Wrenn let out a fierce battle cry that shook the room, an explosion of golden energy threw everyone back.

"From the Hope Incantation." Rapunzel gasped.

This was the form Wrenn took when she defeated the evil spirit of The Black Cauldron, the aforementioned "Sundrop Level Two."

The cleansing power of the Hope Incantation is the bane of all evil. The green bale fire that burned the mansion extinguished, the thorn forest crumbled to dust. Maleficent, the Mistress of Evil was certainly going to feel it.

"Arrrgh!"

The dark dragon shied from the sudden glare of searing golden light, she could not stand to face the girl. It was about to get worse.

Wrenn drew her hands back, gathering the energy into her palms. As a small respite for the Dark Dragon, the glare eased slightly. But then Maleficent saw her danger.

"HYAAAAAH!" Wrenn roared.

Thrusting her palms at the direction of Maleficent, Wrenn fired a focussed beam of cleansing annihilation.

The audience gaped at the incredible feat. A large hole was blown out of the floating island. Some wondered if the island would plummet and crash into the city. Thankfully it didn't.

Wrenn sank onto one knee, panting in exhaustion, she was totally drained after that attack. Flynn and Jim glanced at each other, Little Big Guy prodded Wrenn with his snout.

"I'm fine, big fella." Wrenn assured.

The area remained quiet, the last dangling clutter fell. The dust settled, finally revealing the mansion, or what is left of the mansion. Of the enemy dragon? There was no sign.

"You two owe Laethae a new house." Jim joked.

The twins winced.

Their parents weren't too amused either.

"Eugene. I believe we as Flynn and Wrenn's parents have an obligation to offer Kirion and Laeus assistance in rebuilding." Rapunzel suggested.

"Can't we just blame it on Maleficent?"

Snap.

The group paused, something still moved within the ruins. A loose pile of rubble was shoved aside, and to everyone's horror; out stepped Maleficent!

"Oh. You gotta be kidding me!" Groaned Rapunzel.

The three teens and the purple dragon stared at the Dark Fey. Flynn was quick to stand in front of his sister.

"How in all that is good and holy is Maleficent still alive!?" Exclaimed Anna.

"I transformed back into my fairy form just in time to negate the brunt of your attack." Maleficent recounted her miraculous escape, the keyword being "brunt."

"She's done." Said Elsa. "She can barely walk."

"I can see how our infiltrators and even portal guardians were defeated. So there is at least three of you working against us." Maleficent accused, leaning heavily on her staff.

"She's half onto you! Kill her before she gets the other half!" Cried Arianna.

Flynn didn't waste a second. He swung his sword in an arc then threw the deadly weapon.

It has been a hectic night, pretty epic to watch on a big screen. But for the first time in a long time, Maleficent froze. Come life draining spells or Sundrop annihilation energy blasts, but nothing terrifies Maleficent like an airborne sword. She was completely opened to the curved blade spinning towards her.

Unfortunately. The thing about throwing a sword is that half the time it is the pommel that lands first.

THUMP!!

"Ooooof!" Maleficent cough.

Flynn cursed. He threw the other sword.

THUMP!!!

"Again!? What were the odds!?" Flynn cursed again.

Maleficent staggered back, clutching her assets. She was done. Raising her staff, Maleficent vanished within the swirls of a sparkling vortex. The vortex flew out the window and into the distance beyond.

Maleficent had left the battle.

The parent group relaxed, especially Eugene and Rapunzel. Frederic, Arianna and Edmund slid down on their seats.

"I'm so glad that's finally over." Frederic huffed.

"Let's go. Kirion told me where the Sky Fey are headed." Said Jim.

•••

Out in the hills, thousands crowded the rocks and trees. The Valley was desolate and dark, but it provided shelter. A contingent of fairy mages have cast a veil of illusions, using the elements to blanket their place of hiding.

"So many displaced." Elsa sighed.

"Most of them made it unharmed." Said Cassandra. "That counts for something."

The Sovereign Lord of the Sky Fey, Kirion scanned the landscape. It was a heart wrenching sight. Kirion winced, he did not need soul reading powers to sense the grief and anger.

But there was also comradery. Their shared gift allows for everyone to feel each other's pain and thus allows a great level of understanding and empathy.

"Thank goodness everyone in your family made it out." Laeus sighed. The ruling lady of the Sky Fey was proactive in her rounds, personally assessing the conditions of the populace.

At the centre of the clearing sat Laethae. The princess radiated with hope, a glowing beacon of strength. Naturally, in a time of fear and uncertainty, it was expected that the crowd would gravitate towards Laethae.

Word of the princess's abduction had been the talk of the town. Her subsequent return brought much joy to everyone. But when word spread that Laethae was returned by humans? Many received the news with a grain of salt.

"Fear not, my friends. Everything will be alright. I know that Flynn and his companions shall see us through this darkness." Laethae smiled.

Her words of encouragement were no mere words. The fairies could sense the confidence and positive energy brewing in Laethae's heart. The princess truly believes that her new found friends will aid them.

The much appreciated aura of hope elevated to joy. Laethae's head jerked to the hazy skies, a dragon broke through the veil of illusion.

"YIKES! PULL UP! PULL UP!" Wrenn screeched.

Little Big Guy narrowly avoided landing on a makeshift ward. The physicians and patients received a healthy dose free adrenalin rush from the close encounter.

Pascal let out a squeak of relief, as did Eugene and Rapunzel.

Flynn and Wrenn dismounted, the nearby fairies shuffled away. It was a mixed reception. On one hand there was the crowd with their wary stares, on the other is the incredibly warm and memorable embrace from Laethae.

"Wow. They're squishy." Flynn grinned.

THGONK!!!

A seething Wrenn stood with a smoking fist. Yet Flynn continued to hug Laethae, oblivious to the hit he took or the bulging lump on his head.

Jim landed his with windsurfer, gladdened to see the feyfolk well, he was even more glad when it was his turn to receive a hug from Laethae.

"You all came back. And you are unharmed." Cried Laethae.

"Oh, I was definitely harmed during that fight. I just don't stay harmed for long." Flynn boasted, puffing his bare chest. An embarrassed Wrenn threw her cape over her posing brother. Laethae giggled.

"Have Aidan and the others arrived too?" Wrenn asked.

Anna, Kristoff, Elsa, Hans, Lady Caine, Varian and Cassandra all sat straighter.

Laethae's expression fell, she shook her head. Flynn and Jim straightened, they looked to one another and then at Wrenn.

"Amy, Aidan, Eri and Novak took the ship and went down to help the evacuees." Said Wrenn. "I guess they didn't need to."

The four teenagers and the dragon stood alone. The curious crowd observed their interactions.

"You survived." Somebody muttered.

Halekaith approached the group, behind him Kirion and Laeus landed.

"I am relieved to see you three again." Greeted Laeus, to which Flynn and Wrenn replied with their signature salute, and Jim just made a conventional salute.

"Yes, I am also pleased to see you're still among us. Then did you really prevail, against Maleficent?" Kirion asked. He dared to hope the Mistress of Evil was taken care of.

"Oh man. Not to toot my own horn, but it was a great battle, no play or re-enactment would do it justice." Flynn began his explanation.

"A show like that would Bring the House Down. Am I right?" Varian joked.

"Then she threw herself into a vortex, and threw the vortex out the window... I think that means we win." Flynn concluded.

"It means she escaped! You humans failed to kill her!" Halekaith berated.

"Well, Lord Halekaith. You did not succeed in slaying your foe, either." A familiar voice called out.

All eyes turned to the owner and his company, then it happened. There was a sudden increase in volume, the panic returned, again the crowd of fairies took off like a flock of birds. Into the now vacated ground stepped Grand Pabbie.

Kristoff, Anna, Elsa, Hans, Lady Caine, Varian and Cassandra gasped.

Behind the ancient troll marched Aidan, Amelia, Eri, Novak and Neoma. And behind the teens were a large group of earth fey, the civilians and the invaders.

Halekaith sprung into action. At a word, his soldiers surrounded the new arrivals, spears ready. Halekaith himself blitzed toward the man responsible, blowing the minds of the audience with his incredible speed.

Aidan's warrior instincts kicked in, the hairs on his neck and arms raised, he felt the air shift sharply, unnaturally sharp. Aidan acted, but even he could not do more than turn his wrist before danger was upon him.

Kristoff gasped.

Elsa frowned.

Anna grit her teeth.

One second, there was empty space in front of Aidan, the next second, Halekaith appeared with ruby sword aimed at his chest. But even so. Aidan was able to meet the act of hostility in kind.

Halekaith's eyes darted down, the blade tip of Aidan's halberd was pointing right at his crotch! The look on Halekaith's face was priceless.

"Hah. Got him as good as he got you!" Anna laughed.

"You brought them here!" Halekaith accused.

The group of trolls, imps, treefolk and other ground based fairies huddled. They were frightened and at the mercy of the embittered Sky Fey. Novak, Neoma, Amelia and Eri stood at either side of the group, the boy and girls ensured that no harm will befall the Earth Fey. Halekaith's hostile approach aggravated the teens, which in turn aggravated the surrounding soldiers.

It was a tense stand off with a likely unpleasant outcome, until-.

"All forces, stand down!" Kirion commanded.

The Sovereign Lord of the Sky Fey landed at the head of the arrivals. Kirion marched past Aidan and Halekaith, who both lowered their weapons. Then, astonishing all who bore witness, Kirion bowed before Grand Pabbie.

"Great Moss Covered One, First of the Troll Kings and once ruler of the Unified Fey Island." Kirion greeted.

"Whoa. He definitely has a reputation." Anna whispered.

The people of Arendelle began muttering teach other. This was news even to them.

"You have returned to Faerie, in a most dark of time." Said Kirion.

"Indeed I have, young Kirion. Though I had feared I was almost too late to act." Grand Pabbie sighed. "It brings joy to my heart to know that you and your family are safe. I see that my associates have a hand in it."

At their mentioning, Flynn and Wrenn reached the group, Jim and Laethae arrived next.

It was a well welcomed moment of respite, everyone was together again. The teens exchanged their feelings of relief and grief. Flynn and Jim again recounted their adventure to rescue the royal family.

"Smooth." Aidan nodded. "Way better than merely serenading the girl."

At this, Laethae immediately blushed.

"I had a good wing man." Said Flynn. He grinned, Flynn knew exactly how to repay Jim.

"By the way, everyone. All of you should have seen how skilfully Jim fought, the enemy forces never stood a chance!" Flynn praised, clasping Jim's shoulder. "Then there was the fight with Maleficent. I was in a rough spot, but Jim came in guns blazing, he literally saved my neck."

Jim yelped. The rest of the group rushed to mob him, showering him with praise.

"Ah. Very clever, Flynn. Whoever Jim has eyes for is definitely impressed now." Said Kristoff. "I wonder who it is... I hope it's not Amy."

"Or Wrenn." Eugene grumbled. "It better not be Wrenn."

"Could it still be Neoma?" Varian blurted, eyes sparkling. He still clung onto the possibility even though it was obviously dead in the water.

Neoma is head over heals for Aidan, the whole town could see it by now. Alas, despite being a genius, the girl still hasn't figured it out yet.

"You know. Jim could have been referring to a girl back in his home town." Hans threw in. "I'm just saying."

"Oh, you four are hopeless!" Anna threw her arms in the air.

"You guys! It's clearly Eri." Rapunzel chirped.

"...WHAT!?" Elsa cried.

Indeed. Jim happily received praises from each member of the group, but it was only the one from Eri that made him fumble his words and lose balance.

"Ha! I knew it!" Anna laughed. "Rapunzel. When did you first notice?"

"From the very moment they crashed into one another." Rapunzel cooed. "Do you remember the smitten look on his face?"

"Oh yes. That's exactly when I thought it too!" Anna squealed. "He called her a 'chick' and a 'cyborg.' I still don't know what a cyborg is, but I guess it's another word for very beautiful woman!"

While Anna and Rapunzel merrily yammered and played match maker, Elsa wordlessly gawked at the screen. Of the three queens, Elsa was always by far the least perceptive when it comes to signs of romance. The idea of a boy attempting to court her daughter is completely foreign to Elsa.

"Umm, Elsa? Hello?" Anna waved, snapping Elsa out of her thoughts.

Elsa's eyes snapped back into focus. Both Rapunzel and Anna stared at her, Lady Caine and Cassandra had also turned their heads her way.

"M...me? I...oh no! No no, I don't believe I can approve of this." Elsa shook her head. "They've only known each other for a few days. That's not long enough!"

"He's not trying to marry her, Elsa." Anna rolled her eyes. "It's just an attraction."

"Anna's right, Elsa. I think it's great that Eri also has an admirer now." Said Rapunzel.

"Ah. She's a protective sister and a protective mother." Hans chuckled.

"I just don't want Eri or Jim to get hurt." Said Elsa.

"So, Laethae. What were you trying to say to me, back at your home, before we got split up?" Asked Flynn.

Laethae froze. Her face turned red.

"Umm. You...you fight good." Laethae blurted. Offering Flynn a pat on the shoulder.

An awkward silence fell on the glade.

It fell on Arendelle too.

"Oh... Thank you." Flynn half whimpered. There was a sound of broken glass somewhere.

"Like that." Said Elsa.

"We will all be safe here in this glade, so long as Gruck does not find our location." Said Laeus.

"Well then it might already be too late!" A councilman snapped. He eyed the newly arrived contingent of Earth Fey.

"I can assure you, they are all just as opposed to this war as you Sky Fey are. Alas, the words of their king is law, if Gruck ordered an attack, then they must obey." Explained Grand Pabbie.

"Yet here they are, following you instead of their said king?" Asked Halekaith, showing no intention to hide his distrust.

"Ah. Then you might already have an idea of my solution to this fiasco." Grand Pabbie nodded.

"You plan to overthrow Gruck, and then retake your position as the Troll King. Ensuring peace between our divided fey folks." Kirion deduced.

"Yes. Gruck has sold his soul to the Unquiets with this alliance. He must not be allowed to drag his subjects down with him. I have returned to save my kin, all of them, the Earth Fey and the Sky Fey." Stated Grand Pabbie. "But as for retaking my position as Troll King? I have another idea."

Grand Pabbie turned to observe the teens.

"Yes. An idea."

Author's notes

I had some trouble deciding the names for Laethae's parents. But then I saw that Gundam Seed Freedom movie and I decided Kirion and Laeus it is. It also helps that Laethae already has pink hair. XD

Ah, Gargoyles. If there was one series that deserved a proper conclusion, it was that one.

Thank you all for reading. :)
