Dana Scully was heading to the nearest public library in town to speak with Mariam Roberts working for the library for the past 12 years. Scully had read the report she had given to the authorities regarding the UFO she saw this past week.
Scully parked her rental in the back of the parking lot having to be almost empty at this time of the day to be just after lunch mostly.
Mariam had finished taking care of a reader in the science section. She looked up to see the woman coming over to her. She had a feeling it was the F.B.I. woman Dana Scully working for the F.B.I.
"Mariam Roberts, I am Dana Scully. I called you earlier to speak regarding the sighting of the UFO. Is it a bad time to speak with you?" Scully announced that the section she was in had been empty for now.
"It's fine, Miss Scully. All I want is to have this entire incident end now so that I can live a normal life for god sake!" She barked out in her response.
Scully was able to understand her need to be left alone after suffering a traumatic incident as with seeing a UFO overhead her to change her life forever.
"Tell me Mariam, when exactly did you see this UFO?" she had to asked with her blue notepad in her hand.
She briefly takes in a deep breath before answering the question. Mariam could feel her blood pressure rising as with the heart rate. "It was around five thirty in the evening with the sun starting to go down for the evening. It was circular mostly with making a strange sound that I can't really understand. But I and six others had seen it before it was able to disappeared from our sights." she tells Scully.
"Were you able to see it again?" Scully will asked the question noticing the nervousness of the woman.
"No, I was glad to see it only once Miss Scully. I was scared as hell, along with the rest of the eyewitnesses for the town of Woolton." she remarked with looking up into the sky.
"By the way how long have you been living here in the first place?" Scully motioned with looking up into the sky herself.
"All of my life Scully, as with the rest if my family with only father passing away from brain cancer five years ago. My mother really took it hard having been married a long time."
Scully had a few more questions to asked with Mariam quiet for the moment. "Tell me Mariam, the other eye witnesses scared as well for when it comes to talking to me about their experience?" she tells her with the question.
Shaking slightly. "I don't see why not Scully. I do believe all of them wishes to talk with you about the UFO. I have heard stories that their is possible life out in space. I do hope that these aliens are going to be friendly?" she cried out. "What about yourself?" she will ask her to put Scully on the spot.
Turning her head to face the woman completely. "My life is a long one with very strange experiences. Right now I can't talk about them with six more residents to speak to in regard to the UFO."
"Understood, Scully. Good luck with the others to be speaking with you." she tells Scully with a slight lump growing in her throat.
