Chapter Eighteen – More Than a Feeling
The Reigns Household, Pensacola, Florida
Bianca Belair and Seth Rollins sat in front of a very angry Roman Reigns and a slightly less angry Galina Reigns. The smell of fresh meat wafted through from the garden as the Reigns were having Jeff, Steph and Beth Hardy over for lunch and they were not extending that invitation to Seth and Bianca. Though the fact that Hunter was involved made Roman think that they were probably the only people who didn't know that Seth was giving Bianca a Victoria's Secret Handshake.
"Beth Hardy allowed me to talk to you both before she gets here," Roman said. "How is it that I'm the last freakin' person to find out what you've been doing? I'm your best friend Seth, how could you not tell me about this?!"
"Because I knew it would be uncomfortable and awkward, sort of like it is right now," Seth said sarcastically and Bianca brushed the end of her fanned out ponytail and tapped Seth on the knee sweetly.
"It's okay Seth let him talk, I'd love to hear Roman's reason for being so mad at us," she said before removing her hand and placing it back on her lap.
"You can put your hand back on my knee if you want," Seth said admiring Bianca's profile. "You make me feel so much better than he does,"
Galina noticed Bianca's vibrant demeanour, she looked incredible. Her skin was radiant and her body never looked better. A lot of thought had obviously been put into this, Bianca had a plan and according to her smile, the plan was going just fine.
"Did Carmella put you up to this?" Galina asked Bianca. "This glamorous new look is very Mela,"
"She might have given me some fashion tips," Bianca said smiling into the air. "This purple dress was something she sent to me in New York. We shop on Long Island, she has a great eye for fashion,"
"She also knows Seth very well, she's married to Corey Graves and he's one of Seth's closest friends. How many people are behind this plan to get you and Seth together?" Galina asked.
"We have a lot of friends in common, it's not like we can stop people from being mutual friends with us," Seth said and Roman gave Seth a serious look.
"If Sasha tells you to stop this, will you listen to her or will you keep on going?" he asked Seth.
"I'll stop," Seth said and he chuckled and Roman looked at Galina and they exchanged confused glances.
"What are you laughing at?" Roman asked Seth while Galina surveyed Bianca's large sequined purple sleeveless dress. She looked very sexy and she had obviously been styled in a way that would maximise Seth's interest. Her messy but cute ponytail was frayed into wavy strands and it straddled her left shoulder leaving her right shoulder bare, emphasizing her strong upper body muscles. Her skin was like silk and she smelled like fresh lilies. She was a walking bouquet and it was clear to everyone that she was waiting for someone to catch her.
"You already have a backup plan for that don't you?" Galina asked Bianca who giggled along with Seth. "So why don't you stop laughing and tell us what your plan is for when Sasha tells Seth to stop seeing you completely Bianca?"
"Okay but ya'll are not going to like it," Bianca said and she turned to Seth. "Should I tell them what we talked about? I mean, this is a super family-friendly home, it might be a little too adult for them,"
"Hey, we're all adults here, there's nothing you two can say that will offend us," Roman said. "If I don't like what you say, I'll tell you to your faces instead of waiting for you to find out some other way, see that's what we adults call being honest,"
Seth tried not to roll his eyes at Roman's speech, or mention the fact that he slept with Sasha back in the day and didn't tell him about it until after they got married. "I'm just gonna leave that one alone," he said instead, hoping Roman would pick up on the hint. "Bianca and I came up with an idea to get around Sasha stopping me from giving Bianca the Victoria's Secret Handshake. Before we came in here, we made a video of the last handshake we did together, which was in my Escalade an hour ago,"
"So when we miss each other, we can watch it and feel better," Bianca explained.
"What?!" Roman and Galina exclaimed at the same-time.
"You did that outside in your car?!" Galina gasped.
"Yup," Seth and Bianca said at the same-time.
"We thought this might happen and thanks to Bayley it did. Sasha knows and she's gonna have me fired blah-blah-blah. So we thought it would be a nice way to commemorate the experience just in-case we have to stop," Bianca said and she play pouted at Seth. "It would be a real shame if we had to stop, this has been so much fun hasn't it?"
Seth nodded and bit his lip which was tingling with orange blossom lip balm, "It was a pleasure shaking hands with you Bianca," he said amorously and Roman and Galina scratched their heads.
"So, you're stopping?" he asked them both and they both nodded.
"Yup," they said at the same-time.
"So, no more handshakes?" Galina added.
"Nope," Seth and Bianca said together.
"So…are you going back to being just friends?" Roman asked them and they chuckled again. "Stop laughing, this isn't funny!"
"Sorry Roman it's just so none of your business if we're friends or if we're something else," Seth said. "You're both overstepping and I really don't appreciate it. If my wife wants to get on our case, I get that she's allowed to but you're supposed to be an impartial third party. It is not up to you to decide the nature of my relationship with Bianca,"
"So what you're saying Seth, is that if you wanna f*** her on my kitchen countertop, then that's what you're gonna do right?" Roman snapped and Bianca jumped up and started getting in Roman's face.
"Na-uh, you're not gonna talk to him like that about me Roman!" she snapped but Galina sat her down.
"Be quiet Bianca, my husband has not finished talking," she said firmly and Seth got to his feet.
"Well I'm done listening to your husband," Seth said to Galina before turning to Roman. "You clearly are too dumb to understand how this whole thing works. I am not having an affair, I'm just having fun, sleeping with Bianca is not on the table, okay? You're both blowing this way out of proportion,"
"Oh she's on the table Seth. She's on the counter top, she's on the backseat of your car and she's always on your mind. Until that changes, sex will always be on the table for you and Bianca," Roman said and he pushed Seth backwards. "I don't want you anywhere near my son, do you understand me? Abiyah deserves a better role model than you. I don't want him thinking that it's okay to treat Bianca Belair like a candy stick,"
Seth shrugged casually, "I like candy but I guess I'll just have to enjoy the wrapper for now," he said. "Abi's gonna learn about girls someday Roman, I think I'd make a great role model for your son, you can call me whatever you want, the only thing I care about is having fun with her,"
Seth reached out to Bianca and she looked up at Galina before making a move, "Can I get up now?" she asked her sarcastically.
"You deserve so much more than this Bianca," Galina said. "I know you're fighting for something you think you want but the truth is, what you need is to go back to being a good friend to Seth, instead of a part-time lover,"
"I'm not Seth's lover. I'm more like a pair of his vintage winter gloves; I'm superior in quality, warm in texture and essential when things get cold outside," Bianca said and she got up and straightened her dress and shot Seth a suggestive look as he eyed the hem as her fingers pulled it down a little, "I'm gonna miss keeping you warm Seth," she told him.
"Stop please just stop," Roman said feeling uncomfortable. "Bianca you are so freakin' hot, you can have any man you want, why are you, the other God Girls and Hunter making this big play for you and Seth to be together now? It just doesn't make sense, did something happen when you were fighting Golden 'Tez in the air when we were in Fort Lauderdale?"
"Dear Lord," Bianca sighed. "I need some air, can I please go outside before I pass out from all the toxicity coming out of your mouth Roman?"
"You let her down!" Roman yelled at Seth and the volume of his voice caused Bianca to jump. "Do you really think this is best for her after everything she's been through for you? Why didn't you set her up with someone who's actually available, someone like Carmelo Hayes? Why are you holding her hostage?! Can no one else have her, is nobody else good enough for Bianca Belair? Damn it Seth you always do this, you find a girl attractive and then you collect them like works of art for you to hang in your gallery. How is she gonna move on, how is she supposed to get on with her life if you don't let her go?"
Bianca stood in shock at Roman's passionate speech, he knew Seth way better and for way longer than she did, so she put a lot of stock in what Roman said when it came to Seth. Thankfully the Hardys arrived to break up some of the tension that was now floating through the air.
"Looks like we got here just in time," Beth Hardy said and she looked over at Bianca, "You're not fired Bianca but I am insisting as the cousin of Sasha Banks, that you travel separately from the Rollins family and keep all interactions with Seth Rollins to a minimum. I hope you can both be mature about this, I understand that you have both been through a lot personally, especially you Bianca. But I can't have my cousin worried that her husband is getting it on with the talent behind her back. I think she deserves more than that, after all, she's the freakin' Legit Boss and what she says goes,"
Seth and Bianca nodded and Roman was still waiting for Seth to answer his question. He walked up to Seth and put his hands on Seth's shoulders.
"You gotta let her go Seth, this ain't in her best interests and you know it, the leader of the God Girls would know that and you would tell her that, if you weren't so caught up in how hot she is and she is very hot," Roman said. "I understand, lust gets the better of all of us sometimes, but you can't let it rule over you like this,"
"Stop saying she's hot, she's not an object Roman," Seth blurted out and he looked at Bianca tenderly while the Hardys looked on, then he looked back at Roman with tears in his eyes, "something did happen in Fort Lauderdale and this is how I'm dealing with it," he said and Roman furrowed his brow, he could tell that whatever happened, it was very serious.
"Tell me what happened, just me no-one else has to know, I'll keep it to myself," Roman said and he let Seth whisper what it was in his ear. When he said it, Roman closed his eyes and took a deep breath."Okay, just take it easy. Does she know?"
Seth nodded, "I think so," he said and Bianca waved goodbye and left to go back to New York.
"Bye Seth," she said to him sweetly as she walked away and Roman hugged him realising just how hard all this was on him.
"Let's go outside and talk," Roman said and he walked with Seth outside while Steph and Jeff looked on.
"Whatever your Bonehead ex-husband said to Seth is sure having a domino effect," Jeff Hardy said to Steph referring to Triple H as the Bonehead.
"Hey it was a DX party, something crazy was bound to happen," Steph said as Seth and Bianca hugged by Seth's Escalade. "Something tells me this isn't the last time those two are going to hug, or shake hands,"
"Can you believe they're having an affair?" Jeff asked and Stephanie shook her head as Seth and Bianca stared into each other's eyes before departing.
"No I don't think they're having an affair, I think they're in love," she replied and Jeff shook his head.
"There's no way those two are in love, they're just fooling around to get back at Sasha and 'Tez for making their lives a living Hell over the last few years," Jeff said and he watched as Seth cried over Roman's shoulder, then Jeff suddenly changed his mind, "Maybe you're right Steph and if that's the case, Sasha is in serious trouble,"
Stephanie nodded, "We're all in trouble now Jeff, just when I thought the war between Sasha and the God Girls was over. My niece is going to fire the final shot and we'll see if the God Girls are left standing,"
For Havana and Perfection's sake, Stephanie hoped that they were.
