Episode 351: Elaine's Egg-Cellent Adventure

Shortly after splitting from Sora, Kairi, and the rest, Roxas and Xion sits with the DigiDestined and their Pokémon, resting their feet. Mimi's Roselia is female since she has her leaf down more than Drew's Roselia. Ken has his Gliscor out, hanging upside down in a nearby tree.

"It feels like when we came to Odaiba City all over again," Roxas said.

"It sure does. It's too bad Axel isn't here to see it," Xion said.

"Yeah, it's too bad," Roxas agreed with his girlfriend. He looked up in the sky and he briefly saw Axel's face up in the clouds before it vanished. A tear slides down his cheek. "I think I'm repeating myself by saying this, but I still miss him."

"Me too, Roxas. Probably more than we think," Xion said. "But you still have Sora, Karen, your mom, and everyone else."

"You're right. I just wish I could let him know I wish he would he could share this with us," Roxas said.

"I'm sure he knows. That is why he helped us out in the past. Even thought we didn't have hearts, he made me feel like I had one, just like you did when we first met," Xion said. Roxas placed his arm around Xion's shoulder and he kissed her on the cheek. Xion blushed at the kiss.

Meanwhile, on the very next morning, Sora, Kairi, Chase, Elaine, Rei, Pikachu, Angel, Volt, and Maple continue on their journey through Kanto. Elaine then noticed a farm on the side of them.

"Hey, take a look over there!" Elaine said as she and Maple jumped over a small hedge. "Isn't that the cutest little farm? It would be great to take a break here." A couple of Voltorb came behind her.

"Yikes! Voltorb!" Chase gasped.

"Elaine, look behind you!" Sora exclaimed. Elaine turned to see two Voltorb and she saw how angry they looked.

"Uh-oh," Elaind said. The Voltorb gave Elaine and Maple a double dose of Thunder Shock. "WHAT DID I SAY TO DESERVE THIS?!" The Voltorb ceased their Thunder Shock.

"Elaine, are you alright?" Rei asked.

"I'm fine. I think," Elaine said.

"I find it strange Voltorb would attack for no reason," Rei said.

Just then, a girl with green eyes and red hair tied in pigtails. She wore a light green shirt, overalls, and orange shoes.

"Alright, who are you?" The girl asked, placing the end of the pitchfork down in the ground. They see the girl. "These are trained to attack anyone who comes on to our property, and in case you didn't know it, that's what you did, trespassers!"

"Trespass?!" Elaine exclaimed in shock. She realized she made a mistake. "Oh no! I'm trespassing? I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!"

"Go easy on her, please. She was only curious. She didn't have any bad intentions," Kairi pleaded, coming to Elaine's defense. The girl then looked at Kairi and she gasped in realization.

"Wait a minute! I know you!" The girl said, confusing Kairi. She approached her. "Aren't you the one who won the Saffron City Pokémon Contest I saw on TV?!"

"Um, yes," Kairi said.

"I knew it! You were the winner! And now, you're here on the farm!" The girl exclaimed.

"Um, I'm flattered. What's your name?" Kairi asked.

"My name is Nicholette. I've been a huge fan of yours ever since I saw you on TV!" Nicholette said.

Just then, Nicholette's parents walked out. Her father is a chubby man wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans, and dark green shoes. He has brown hair. Her mother wore a pink shirt, blue jeans, and red shoes.

"Hey, Nicholette!" Nicholette's father called out.

"Have you got visitors?" Nicholette's mother asked.

"Mom, dad, you'll never believe who we have on our farm!" Nicholette said.

Nicholette's parents invited the group inside the house and offered them some tea and cookies to rest their feet from all the walking they had been doing. Sora explained that he, Chase, and Elaine are in the Pokémon Stadium Cup, competing as Kairi is partaking in Pokémon Contests. Her parents introduced themselves as Christopher and Jeannie.

"So, going number one in the Pokémon Stadium Cup is quite a challenge," Christopher said.

"Yeah, it is," Sora said.

"Winning your place in the Grand Festival was a challenge for me, too," Kairi said.

"Yes, don't I know it?" Jeannie said.

"You see, our daughter Nicholette wants to be a Pokémon Coordinator, too," Nicholette's father said.

"She does, huh?" Kairi asked.

"Why doesn't she just go for it?" Chase asked.

"Do you have a problem with her doing it?" Rei asked.

"Not at all," Christopher said, waving his hands. "We both think the journey of becoming a Pokémon Coordinator is the best possible thing that could happen to her. But the thing is, she's a real homebody; she doesn't want to leave the nest, although you wouldn't know it at first glance."

"Believe me, no one knows better than us that her getting out there and seeing the world would be a wonderful thing," Jeannie said.

"I do agree with the both of you. Going out to see the world would be a great experience, but leaving the home would be a difficult thing to do," Rei said.

"Christopher, if you don't mind us asking, but what kind of farm is this?" Sora asked.

"Well, they all call us Pokémon egg ranchers, except on this farm, we raise Pokémon eggs," Christopher said.

"You raise Pokémon eggs?" Chase and Elaine asked.

"Yeah, that's right, you guys have never seen Pokémon eggs before. It's an awesome experience to see Pokémon being born right before your very eyes," Sora said.

"You got that right. You had to see your share of it, so we're so envious of you," Elaine said.

"Eevee!" Maple said.

"Can we see them?" Chase asked.

"Pika, Pika!" Volt said.

"Sure, of course you can. It's time for the grand egg nursery," Christopher said.

Later, Nicholette finished sweeping when she saw Elaine brushing Maple's fur. Kairi has taught her and Chase the proper way to brush their partners.

"Wow, Maple, you got such a pretty coat. It's no wonder Angel always looked her best," Elaine said.

"Vee," Maple said as Nicholette approached them.

"I'm scared to go up against Kairi since she won the Saffron City Pokémon Contest, but these two. Yeah, a test battle," Nicholette said.

"Test battle? What do you mean?" Elaine asked. Nicholette flinched.

"How did you know what I was thinking?!" Nicholette exclaimed.

"You just said it out loud," Elaine deadpanned.

"Eevee," Maple said.

Nicholette blushed in embarrassment when she realized she was thinking out loud.

"Chill out, Nicholette. Get a grip," Nicholette said in her thoughts. She then said out loud. "I think you and I should have a battle! Right here and now!"

"Sure, if you want to. I could use the practice for the Pokémon Stadium Cup, anyway," Elaine said. She turned to Maple. "You ready, Maple?"

"Eevee," Maple said.

"Thought so," Elaine said.

Both Elaine and Nicholette got into position for battle. Nicholette took out a Pokéball and threw it.

"Vileplume! I choose you!" Nicholette called out. Her Pokéball opened and her Vileplume emerged from inside, ready to battle. Her Vileplume is female. Elaine took out her Rotom Phone and scanned her.

Vileplume, the Flower Pokémon

An evolved form of Gloom

Type: Grass/Poison

Vileplume's toxic pollen triggers atrocious allergy attacks. That's why it is advisable never to approach any attractive flowers in a jungle, however pretty they may be.

Elaine puts her Rotom Phone away and looked at Maple again.

"Maple, go!" Elaine called out. Maple stepped in to battle. "Since you have the home field advantage, you can have the first move."

"Thanks. Vileplume! Use Petal Dance!" Nicholette ordered. Vileplume unleashed Petal Dance right at Maple.

"Dodge and use Quick Attack!" Elaine ordered. Maple dodged Vileplume's Petal Dance and dashed at Vileplume, landing a hit. "That was awesome! Use Bite!" Maple came at Vileplume to land a bite onto her opponent.

"Vileplume! Stun Spore!" Nicholette ordered. Vileplume unleashed Stun Spore and sent it right at Maple.

"Uh-oh! This can't be good!" Elaine gasped. Maple then begins to dig to avoid Stun Spore. "Wow, that was Dig!" Maple then came out and lands a hit with a tackle. "That was great! Now, let's try out that one move."

"Vee," Maple said.

"One move? This I'd like to see," Nicholette said.

"Okay, Maple! Use Veevee Volley!" Elaine ordered. Maple smiled at Elaine and she smiled back at Maple, forming a pink heart between them. Maple then rushes at Vileplume with a powerful tackle. An explosion occurred, hitting the Flower Pokémon, dealing some heavy damage, much to Nicholette's shock and dismay. She called her Vileplume back.

"What was that? I didn't think a little Eevee would be strong enough to take down my Vileplume. Makes me glad I didn't battle against Kairi, otherwise, I would have lost a lot faster," Nicholette said in her thoughts.

"That was awesome, Maple. That Veevee Volley was even more awesome than the last time," Elaine said.

"Eevee," Maple beamed.

"Nicholette, look if you want to be a Pokémon Coordinator, you should totally go for it," Elaine said. Nicholette flinched when she heard Elaine mention it.

"How did you know?" Nicholette asked.

"Oh, your parents told me and the others about it," Elaine said. Nicholette was silently mad at her parents for blurting out her secret.

"Mom and dad have such big mouths," Nicholette said in her thoughts.

"Going on your journey is an awesome way to see the world. I guarantee it's a lot of fun. And it's a good way to train your Pokémon," Elaine said.

"I can get all the training I need from right here on the farm," Nicholette said.

"Um, if you say so," Elaine said.

"Elaine!" Chase called out to her. She turned to see Sora, Kairi, Chase, Rei, Pikachu, Angel, and Volt with Christopher. "Come on, let's go!"

"We're about to have a peek at those eggs if you're still interested!" Sora said.

"You bet your necklace that I am!" Elaine said.

They were led into the egg nursery and they were all amazed by how many eggs there are.

"Wow, look at that. All of these eggs. It's hard to believe that's how Pokémon are born," Chase said.

"Did you expect Pokémon to appear out of thin air?" Kairi joked, making Sora chuckle.

"That's my line," Sora said.

"These are all so pretty," Elaine said.

"These eggs were given to us for safekeeping. Our goal is to give each and everyone all the love we have," Christopher said.

"Wow," the group said.

"It takes me back to when my Lucario came from an egg," Rei said.

"Your Lucario?" Christopher asked.

"Her Lucario was given to her as a gift from my dad. Her Lucario was an egg at the time," Sora said.

"I see," Christopher said. Kairi looked around and eyes the eggs on the other side.

"What about these ones?" Kairi asked.

"Those are our own," Christopher said.

"I'd love to raise one of my own," Elaine said.

"Maybe someday, you will," Kairi said.

"Kairi, I've been wondering if you mind sharing your traveling stories with Nicholette?" Christopher requested.

"Of course," Kairi said.

"It might help her feel inspired," Sora said.

"And we can pitch in, too," Chase said.

"Great. There happens to be an egg ready to hatch anytime now," Christopher said.

"You mean soon?!" Elaine exclaimed with delight.

"A Pokémon hatching from an egg is something I have always wanted to see for myself!" Chase said.

"Pika, Pika!" Volt said.

"Eevee, vee!" Maple said.

Outside the farm, teenage boys are watching from the bushes, seeing the Voltorb on patrol.

"And here it is, Phil. The Pokémon egg farm I told you about," one of the men said.

"You sure it's worth it, Dil? I don't think those Voltorb are gonna let us anywhere near that farm. If we make one wrong move, we'll end up being zapped," Phil said.

"Not if we play our cards right. We'll have to hear from Gil. He's the brains of our team," Dil said. Just then, the third teenage boy showed up.

"I have an already already in play," the third teenage boy said.

"Gil! What's your plan?"

"Come here, you guys. I'll spell it all out," Gil said.

Later that night at the farm house, the group were invited to stay for dinner for the night. They all let out a satisfying sigh once they were completely full.

"Wow, that was tasty. Your cooking is just as good as Kairi's," Chase said.

"Thank you," Jeannie said.

"Nicholette, how would you like to have a listen to some of the places Kairi and her friends have been to?" Christopher suggested. Nicholette looked down at the table and sighed.

"No thanks. I have some eggs to polish anyway," Nicholette said, leaving the dining room. Kairi and Elaine looked at her, feeling sorry for Nicholette. She was holding herself back from her dreams.

"Voltorb!" The Voltorb said out in the distance, alerting everyone. They saw a massive spark outside.

"What was that?" Sora asked.

"There must be someone trespassing on the farm," Chase said.

"Or something," Rei said. Sora, Kairi, Chase and Elaine can tell by the tone of her voice that it could be Heartless, Nobodies, or Unversed out there.

"We better look into it," Kairi said.

Agreeing with her, everyone rushed out to see what it was. Nicholette and the Voltorb are standing before a giant egg with strange markings.

"Wow, look at the size of that egg," Kairi said.

"But how did it get here?" Christopher asked.

"Beats me. I came out here after I heard something and it was just sitting there," Nicholette said. Just then, a piece of paper. Rei catches it in her hands and reads it.

"Take care of my egg, please. I'll be back to pick it up. Thanks," Rei read.

"That's a lot of egg to take care of," Sora said.

"I'll say it is," Chase said.

A few minutes later, they got a cart that was big enough for them to put the egg on. Once it was secured they all started to take it to the farm.

"Since it's what we do, we have no choice," Christopher said.

Just then, Dil and Phil came out of the bushes and their hair were frizzled from the Voltorb's electric shocks.

"They took the bait. Gil's plan is working," Phil said.

"After all, and egg is an egg, no matter what size it might be," Jeannie said.

"Now, we just wait for Gil to come back out with the eggs," Dil said. They fist bumped as they laughed.

They placed the fake egg in the egg nursery with Gil waiting patiently from the inside. In a different room, the farmers showed the group one of the eggs an incubation machine.

"It won't be long until this little one hatches," Christopher said.

"I can hardly wait to see what it is," Elaine said.

"Wish it'll hurry up and hatch already!" Chase said.

"Now, now, some things cannot be rushed just because you want them to," Rei reminded her new apprentices.

"Is there anything we can do for you in the meantime?" Kairi asked.

"Why, yes, there is," Christopher replied.

"If you can keep an eye on things, and let us know if anything happens, that'll be a tremendous help," Jeannie said.

"You can count on us," Sora said.

They stepped out of the incubator room to stand guard and protect the eggs just in case. Kairi and Elaine stopped and saw her polishing an egg. Both girls nodded to each other and stepped inside.

"Need a hand?" Kairi asked. Nicholette turned to see them.

"That looks like it's a lot of fun," Elaine said. She grabbed an egg and a wash cloth. Then she began to rub it. Kairi was about to interject when Nicholette was quicker than her to respond.

"No, that's all wrong!" Nicholette said, making Elaine stop. "You gotta use a softer touch." She demonstrates it for them.

"You're pretty good, Nicholette," Kairi complemented.

"Thank you. I really love taking care of these eggs like this. I'm so very lucky I was born here on an egg farm," Nicholette said.

"I know what you mean. It must be fun to take care of some adorable newborn Pokémon around here," Kairi said.

"I'll bet it must be fun to travel," Nicholette said.

"It's lots of fun. You get to see a lot of new places, meet new people and new Pokémon," Kairi said.

"She's right about that. This world is full of awesome things to see," Elaine said. Nicholette sighed to herself. "Have you really thought of leaving to become a Pokémon Coordinator?"

"Of course, I have. I'd love to go on a journey just like you two, and the boys, and Rei," Nicholette said.

"Well, your parents seems to think it's a good idea for you to get out there and see the world," Elaine said.

"But why haven't you?" Kairi asked.

"I'm kinda scared. I don't think to have the confidence to know if I'll succeed or make a fool out of myself out there," Nicholette said.

"A lot of people gets scared when they get started," Kairi said.

"Even you?" Nicholette asked.

"Yes, even me. I kinda felt the same way before I started to travel on my first journey. Mostly because it was hard for me to leave the city I was born in because my parents lived there ever since they first got married. My dad took me out camping in Viridian Forest and he told me the world around me is much bigger than the one I'm living in right now, and I shouldn't let fear slow me down. When I got older, I thought of becoming a Pokémon Trainer, and that's when I got Angel as my first. She was absolutely the most adorable Pokémon I had ever seen. But when I met Sora for the first time, I decided

that I wanted to travel, too. Mostly it was because I wanted to get to know Sora when I first fell in love with him. From that day on, I never once regretted my decision. It was because of Sora and my dad that I'm the person I am today," Kairi explained.

"Really?" Nicholette asked.

"Absolutely. Shortly after coming to Hoenn, I decided to become a Pokémon Coordinator. I entered some Contests and earned my five Ribbons to make it the Grand Festival. It wasn't an easy thing to do, but I didn't give up and my hard work all paid off. Making it all the way to the final round of the Grand Festival wasn't a walk in the park, but I made it in, all the same," Kairi said.

"I'm not a Pokémon Coordinator like Kairi is, but I can understand where she's going with it. I wasn't sure I would be a great Pokémon Trainer, but I knew I had to try," Elaine said.

Outside, Dil and Phil are floating in an egg-shaped hot air balloon, hovering over the farm.

"Hard-boil, come in Hard-boil! This is Sunnyside Up. What's your status, over?" Dil asked, using a codename.

"Hard-boil here. All's quiet from my end, Sunnyside Up. How's your status from your end, over?" Gil asked, also using codenames.

"Scrambled here. All's clear from up above. You ready to poach the eggs, over?" Phil asked.

"That's a 10-4, good buddies. Switching to Eggnapper Mode, now, over," Gil said, pulling a lever. The fake egg converts into a robot. "Activating snatchers." Several suction cups comes out of the robot and placed the eggs in trays. "Hard-boil to Sunnyside Up and Scrambled, egg-straction complete. Making my way back your way, now, over." He uses the robot to march through the farm and he sees he's next to the incubator room. "What do we have here? It's glowing. It won't be long until it hatches. Better poach that one, too." He extends the arm through the window, alerting Christopher and Jeannie. "Thanks for the warm welcome. Now, I'll show myself out."

"We've been robbed!" Christopher exclaimed.

"Kids, come here!" Jeannie called out.

Hearing her voice, the group ran into the incubator room and stepped inside it.

"Mommy, daddy, what happened?!" Nicholette asked.

"They egg we had taken in just snatched the egg we were hatching, and took off with it," Christopher said.

"Oh no!" Kairi gasped.

"This can't be happening!" Elaine said.

"Well, we're gonna have to get them back!" Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu nodded.

"I agree! Let's go!" Rei said.

With that said, they stepped out and went after the egg thief.

Gil ran with the eggs in place when the Voltorb came to attack him.

"I don't think so, Voltorb!" Gil said, having a hand converting into an arm cannon. "Piloswine! I choose you!" It shoots out a Pokéball, letting out a Piloswine. The Voltorb attacked the Swine Pokémon with a double dose of Thunder Shock. Due to Piloswine's immunity to Electric-type attacks, it does nothing to it. Gil laughed from inside. "Stupid Voltorb! You think your weak Thunder Shocks will hurt Piloswine? I didn't think so! Piloswine! Use Stomping Tantrum!" Piloswine stomps the ground repeatedly before hitting the ground with both of its feet at once, sending splinters of the ground flying at the Voltorb. They both take heavy damage and end up being knocked out. The group showed up to the battle.

"That egg has a Piloswine!" Nicholette said.

"And we have the eggs, and we're about to take off," Phil said as the hot air balloon floats down.

"And we're about to collect them," Dil said.

"I don't think so!" Sora said. They looked at him. "Those eggs aren't even yours! You're not gonna get away with it!"

"Yeah? And who's gonna stop us? You?" Dil asked in a taunting manner.

"Volt! Use your Thunder-" Chase was cut off by Sora.

"Chase, no! If you have Volt use an Electric-type attack, you could destroy the eggs!" Sora said.

"You're right, bad idea," Chase said.

"We gotta get the eggs without harming a single one," Rei said.

"But how?" Sora asked.

"Pika," Pikachu said. Elaine then gets an idea.

"Nicholette, how about you have your Vileplume use Stun Spore?" Elaine suggested.

"Huh? Why?" Nicholette asked.

"It'll paralyze the thieves and it won't hurt any of the eggs," Elaine said.

"I gotcha," Nicholette said, taking out her Pokéball and threw it. "Vileplume! Go!" Her Pokéball opened and her Vileplume emerged from inside. "Vileplume! Use Stun Spore on the bottom of that balloon!" Vileplume aims for Dil and Phil and unleashed Stun Spore, paralyzing them.

"If I knew that was gonna happen, we would have brought some Salveyo Weed to cure us of Stun Spore!" Dil said.

"I can't feel my fingers or my toes!" Phil said.

"Hey, what's going on up there?" Gil asked. He scoffed. "Never mind! I gotta take care of these meddlers now! Piloswine! Ice Fang!" Piloswine charges at the group with Ice Fang.

"Stun Spore again!" Nicholette ordered. Vileplume sprinkled Stun Spore on Piloswine, resulting in the Swine Pokémon's paralysis.

"Time for me to step in," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Hitmonchan! Go!" Hitmonchan came out and gave a couple of practice punches. "Hitmonchan! Mach Punch!" Hitmonchan dashed at Piloswine and lands a powerful punch. "Now, use Fire Punch!" Hitmonchan lands a red-hot Fire Punch on Piloswine, knocking it out.

"My Piloswine!" Gil gasped. Kairi took out her own Pokéball and threw it.

"Go! Gardevoir!" Kairi called out. Gardevoir emerged from inside. "Use Psychic to save those eggs!" Gardevoir uses Psychic to lift up the eggs and gently bring them over to the group.

"Hey! There's no return policy on those eggs!" Gil said.

"Shut up! Hitmonchan! Use Thunder Punch!" Sora ordered. Hitmonchan gave the egg robot an electrified punch, breaking the egg, revealing Gil's face.

"We got every one of them back. Safe and sound," Christopher said.

"Hey! We stole those!" Phil said.

"Take back what's rightfully theirs!" Dil said.

"I don't think so!" Chase said. He turned to Volt. "Okay, Volt! Go for it!"

"Pika," Volt said as he sends up strains of electricity straight up into the air. They came back down as yellow lightning bolts, surrounding them. One more comes down and shocked the teenaged boys and destroying the robot, making Gil fly out and land right on the other two.

"That definitely wasn't Thunder," Sora said.

"It was something completely different," Rei said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

The teenage boys stood back up.

"We're not done yet," Dil said, taking out a Pokéball as did Phil and Gil. "Go!" Their Pokéballs opened to reveal three Rhydon.

"Rhydon! Use your High Horsepower!" Dil, Phil, and Gil ordered. The three Rhydon ran to plow them.

"I don't think so! Vileplume! Use Solar Beam!" Nicholette ordered. Vileplume starts to build up energy into her flower. Once the energy was full, Vileplume fired Solar Beam, hitting the three Drill Pokémon on the mark, knocking all three out.

A few minutes later, Officer Jenny arrived to the egg farm and arrested them for attempting to steal the eggs.

"Some plan, Gil," Dil deadpanned.

"Shut up!" Gil snapped at him.

"Man, grandma is so going to kill us when she hears about this," Phil said.

Officer Jenny slammed the back door of her police car and went to the driver's seat. She then starts the engine to take them to the police station.

On the next morning, the eggs were placed back where they were except for the one about to hatch. They all gathered around it to see it hatching.

"This is it. The moment of truth," Chase said.

The egg then hatches into a Vulpix.

"So, it was a Vulpix egg after all," Sora said.

"You got yourselves a bouncing baby girl," Kairi said.

"Eevee," Angel said. The newborn Vulpix yawned.

"Oh, how cute," Elaine cooed.

"I can finally take a breath again," Christopher said.

"We were all a bit worried you weren't going to hatch, Vulpix," Jeannie said.

"Vul," Vulpix said.

"It's so cool we got to see a Pokémon born right before our eyes," Chase said.

"You know, Nicholette, I think you have what it takes to be a Pokémon Coordinator," Kairi said. Nicholette looked right at her.

"Really? You think so?" Nicholette asked.

"I know so," Kairi said.

"The way you handled your Vileplume and the way you took down those Rhydon without batting an eyelash is all the proof we needed," Elaine said.

"You know, you're right. The both of you. I am going out on a journey of my own after all," Nicholette declared.

"What made you change your mind?" Chase asked.

"It was the talk Kairi and Elaine had with me. I thought a lot of what they told me. The world is much bigger than the one I'm already in, and I'm not going to let my fear stop me anymore. I don't know how great I'm going to be, but I'm gonna go and find out for myself," Nicholette said. Her parents were very proud of her.

Everyone was about to take their leave when the family stood before the group and with two eggs to give them.

"It's all thanks to you that our new Vulpix was born here, safe and sound," Jeannie said.

"And because you brought back our eggs unharmed, we'd like the each of you to have an egg as a sign of thanks," Christopher said. Nicholette gave Kairi a brown and yellow egg while Elaine was given a blue-green egg with patches on it.

"Here's one for you, Elaine," Nicholette said, giving Elaine the blue-green egg. "And one for you, Kairi." She hands her the brown and yellow egg.

"Thank you. I promise we'll take good care of these eggs," Kairi said.

"And we'll make them the best Pokémon they can be," Elaine said.

With that said, the group took their leave after saying their goodbyes to them. Now that Kairi and Elaine has each received an egg as thanks for safely returning them to their caretakers, and they continue on their journey.

Meanwhile, in the local jail, a policewoman (no, it's not Jenny) opened the cell with an elderly woman standing beside her.

"Phillip Voss, Gillis Voss, and Dillon Voss, your grandmother has paid your bail and placed you into her custody pending your trial," the policewoman announced.

"Oh, joy," the boys said with less enthusiasm. The elderly woman glared at them with a stern expression.

"You ungrateful, rotten, little delinquents! Break your grandmother's heart, will you?! I work myself to the bone to give you three a good, decent home, and fill your bellies with lots of food, and this is the thanks I get?!" The elderly woman said. She smacked them with her cane.

"OW!" Dil, Gil, and Phil yelped.

"I hope the judge throws the book at you! Maybe that'll teach you some manners!" The elderly woman said.

"Yes, grandma," Dil, Phil, and Gil said.

And we'll end it here for now.
