AN: Sorry for not posting sooner. Where i live, the town was rock with shocking news of a known diver went missing on his dive over a week ago. His body wasn't recovered. the guy family is well known and the guy mother use to be a teacher at the high school in the 80's and 90's. The diver married with two little boys.

Pete look at shock bomber and Swain. "I should of relies some thing wasn't right" Pete said
"what do you mean" Swain asked
"the smug look on his face when you put the cuffs on him swain. He must have had a back up plan just in case"
"don't worry he can't get you while your on here"
"It when we get back home I'm worried about" Pete said
Then mike and Kate ran up onto the bridge. They stop when they saw Nikki in Pete arms while crying
"buffer"
"Walsmen and his men escape half an hour ago, two police officers were killed during the brake out sir"
"What" Mike said
"commander Marshal called to let you know, Nav took the call when he told her" Buffer said. Mike step ford and put his hand on her shoulder. Nikki turn to him
"don't worry we found him once we will find him again"
"I know sir"
"sir" RO said as he walk up the steps and pass a sheet of paper to mike.
He read what it said and pass it to Kate "We got to turn around and return to Samaru island" Mike said
"Why sir" Buffer asked
"To pick up eight UN observers then take them back to Cairns with us" Kate walk over to the computer map where she gave a course direction change.
"Swain, buffer take Nav down to the ward room" Mike said
Pete help Nikki to Stand then he put his arm around her waist as they walk to the steps and down them with Swain and buffer behind her. Kate turn to Mike
"Nav really shook up"
"Yes she is"
Swain buffer and Nikki walk into the ward room where Pete help Nikki to lie down on the bed. Then he remove her boots and put them on the floor under the bed while Swain pull a blanket over her. The he got the pressure cuff so he could take her blood pressure while Buffer sat on the chair close to the bed holding onto one of her hands while they look at each other.
"Don't worry Nikki we will find him"
"I know"
"Why don't you close your eyes and get some rest, I'll be here" he stroke her forehead with his free hand
"Ok" Buffer turn to swain
"Her BP is up but that cause of the shock. I'll leave you two alone"
"Thanks Mate" Pete said
Then Swain walk out of the ward room then he turn and look at Nikki once again. He watch her close her eyes and fall into peaceful sleep. Pete stay with with Nikki the whole time except when swain or bomber went to check on her.
When one of the did Buffer left to get a drink or use the head then return back to the ward room till he heard over the PA system that Mike sending a HRIB to get the eight guests. Bomber walk into the ward room
"buffer why don't you go up top, I'll stay with Nav for a bit"
"Are you sure"
"Yes, go on"
"thanks" Pete stood up and walk out of the ward room and went up on the boat deck to see eight guests walking up the steps carrying there bags with them.
RO went to show them the way down to the Astarte where they will be staying the night. Buffer look out at sea doing some thinking then he return back to the ward room.
When Nikki woke up she turn her head "Hey you must of needed your rest" Bomber said
"It was shock, where Pete" When she notice he wasn't in the room
"Top side getting some air, do you need any thing besides buffer" bomber said smiling.
Nikki sat up "cup of tea"
"I'll get it"
"I can do it" Nikki got off the bed when bomber stood up.
"Your boots"
"thanks" Nikki said.
Bomber help put the boots on Nikki then they walk out and down to the gallery where Nikki made her self a drink while they talk. Then they heard RO talking then they saw him
"Nav you look much better"
"thanks RO, who are they"
"UN observes ma'am, we taking them back to Cairns with us"
"Oh ok"
"Why are you not in uniform" one women asked
"This is lieutenant Nikki Tomaszewski, she was kidnap few days ago" RO said
"Yes we heard about what happen to you, but why are you wearing overalls that is to big for you" one man asked.
Nikki walk out of the gallery and around the corner "Cause they don't making for pregnant women sir" they look at Nikki large stomach
"Oh my gosh" one women said in shock
"We heard that a female lieutenant was kidnap and rescued but we were never told that it was you or about the pregnancy, when are you due lieutenant"
"Two weeks ma'am"
"There you are" Nikki turn around and smile
"Were you looking for me"
"spider said you were in the galley, hungry again"
"No" then she showed him the cup of tea. He bend over and sniff it then straiten up

"good" Nikki turn to the eight guests
"This is my husband Petty officer Peter Tomaszewski, crew call him buffer"
"I can see why, you got a good looking man there lieutenant" one women said smiling
"Yes I know and at the moment he been very protective of me since the kidnapping"

"We will thank you" then they turn and follow RO.
Nikki look at one guy who was looking at her and Pete the whole time before he follow the others.
"come you back to the ward room" Pete said.
Then they turn around and walk to the ward room while Nikki was thinking.
"Pete where the captain"
"On the bridge why"
"I need to call commander Marshal"
"Nikki" he turn to her
"that last guy in the red and white shirt, it his face I've seen it before"
"He with the UN"

"Ok, let's go and talk to the captain" they walk towards and up on the bridge.
When they got there mike was on the phone talking when he turn and smile
"Thanks Steve. Talk to you when we return" Nikki step ford and took phone out of mike hands
"sorry sir...commander marshal it lieutenant Tomaszewski sir...I'm ok sir... sir can you e-mail the captain photos of Ray Walsmen contacts... every one...there a guy from the UN, I seen his face before... I don't know sir... french but I don't think he is...thank you sir... I'm ok... thank you sir..." then she hug up and turn to mike
"sorry about that sir"
"you think of of those men isn't from the UN" Mike said
"Yes"
"Which one"
"one in the red and white shirt" Pete said
"alright for now buffer you stay with Nikki, Let me know if he is connected to Ray Walsmen"
"I will sir"
"Lets go and find RO" buffer said
"Ok" They walk back down stairs talking about other things.
When they saw RO they walk towards him "RO"
"buffer, Nav"
"We need to talk... in the coms room" Nikki said
"sure" they walk to the coms room where RO open the door and let Nikki in first
"RO stay with Nikki, don't leave her alone"
"sure" He turn to Nikki
"i got washing that needs to be done"
"ok Pete be careful"
"you to" then he turn around and walk away.
RO close and lock the door then he turn to Nikki "there a e-mail coming from NAVCOM it for me"
"Can it wait"
"no, it important"
"Sure" RO sat down and did his typing on the computer then he saw the one for Nikki the he click onto it

"open it" Nikki said, so RO open it to see a lot of thumb tack pictures. Nikki pull up a chair and sat down
"I need to look at all the photos" Nikki said
"sure" RO did some typing then photos enlarge and appeared on the screen then the next one appeared.
Nikki look at them for a few minutes "stop" Nikki said so RO stop
"Go back one" RO did what Nikki wanted
"Hey he that french UN guy" Nikki read what it said
"Print it, he not from the UN, he a hired assassin, Oh My god, he here to kill Pete, Let the captain know" Nikki said as she stood up and went to the door to open it and ran out of the room.
RO pick up the phone and pres two numbers. "sir the french UN that on board... yes sir she has, he a hired assassin, Nav thinks buffer the target... laundry room sir... she gone to warn him... yes sir" then he hung up and printed out the information on the guy.
Buffer was down in the laundry room doing the washing when the guy walk in. they talk for few minutes when the guy attack Buffer. They both fort when Nikki an into the laundry room she look around and pick an iron and hit the guy on the head with it knocking him out.
Buffer manage to roll the guy off him and rolled over as he remove the wire that was around his hand and neck as he look up to see Nikki holding the iron in her hand then Mike, spider, swain and ET ran into the laundry room then stop at what they saw. Swain went to check on the guy
"He still alive, Buffer let me take a look at your hand" Swain said. As he move to look at buffer hand
Mike step forward taking the iron out of Nikki hand and pass it to ET. Then he pulled her into his arms "You did good Nav"
"Pete" Nikki said in shock
"I'm ok, lot better than him" Pete said as he got up and step ford. Nikki went in to his arms
"It ok" Pete said he look at Mike
"Ray Walsmen hired him to kill you"
"Well his plan didn't work sir"
"Thanks to Nav here"
"Yes my hero" she look up at him so he kiss her and hug her with his good hand while Mike got spider and ET to carry the guy up to the ward room.
ET put the iron down on the ironing board then he went and help Spider carry the guy out of the room. Swain step ford "buffer I need to dress your hand"
"sure, Sir can you take care of Nikki"
"Sure" Nikki back up and look up at Pete
"I'm ok"
"Nikki I know you to well, Captain here will look after you"
"I know" He kiss her forehead then follow Swain out of the laundry room
"come on" Mike said as he put his arm around her shoulder as they walk out of the laundry room as they talk.
They walk to and up on the bridge where Kate stood up from the captain chair and step back as Mike help Nikki into it then he step back and turn to Kate
"what happen" Kate asked
"Nikki save buffer life, she hit the assassin in the head with an iron"
"Iron, what a bar"
"No iron. Clothes iron"
"Oh she hit the guy with that" Kate said in shock
"Yes she did, when I got there she was still holding on to it while buffer was siting up from the flood nursing a bloody hand"
"How did he cut it"
"the assassin was using a wire, he had it around buffer neck, buffer must of seen what was going to happen so he put his hand up to his throat to protect it"
"buffer could of loss his hand"
"He didn't cause Nav showed up"
"Sir" he turn to charge
"If Nav is dangerous while holding an iron in her hand what would she be like holding a base ball bat then"
"you don't want to know charge" Nikki said
"Is it worse than an iron" charge asked
"It can be if I hit you in the crouch, then the hand, then the nose then the back of you head last"
"Ouch"
"Nav have you done that to a guy" Flipper asked
"In high school when he try to rape me in the sports equipment room. By the time the teachers and students ran in he was on the ground and I was holding a base ball bat in my hand. He was in hospital for two weeks. They had to put a Carpathian in since his penis was black and blue plus swollen and he couldn't pee"
"Ouch sounds like you dangerous, dose buffer knows about it"
"Yes he dose"
They talk for a few minutes when buffer walk up the stairs and over to where Nikki is. "buffer I hope you don't have a base ball bat at home" charge said, making every one laugh
"Yes I do, why" he look down at Nikki
"Brandon Williams" Nikki said
"Ah him" Then he look up at charge.
"Did she tell you that her brothers want to castrate him"
"No"
"Yeah when they found out about what happen to Nikki till she told them what she did. Tom said we better hide the base ball bat at home, just in case she use it on one of us" Pete said making the others laugh and Nikki grin.
"sounds like Nav you would make a great base ball batter" Flipper said
"Thanks"
"I'll call Steve and give him an up date" Mike said to Kate
"Sir you will want this" RO said as he pass him sheet of paper. Mike read what it said then pass it to Kate who read it then to buffer.
"Now what sir" buffer said as he pass the paper to him
"Get Swain to bring the guy bag to the back of the boat just in case. And get all the crew to search every inch of this ship make sure that the guy hasn't planted a bomb on here"
"Yes sir" mike turn and walk down the Steps.
Pete look at Nikki "go, I'll be fine"
"Alright" then he walk off the bridge.
Nikki look down at her stomach as she felt the baby kick.
Hour later the guy regain consciousness with a bad head ache after what Nikki did to him. He notice his hand was tied to the bed railing and one of the crew standing guard. The crew member walk to the phone to call mike to let him know that the guy is awake.
Plus Buffer, swain, Kate and mike were on the back of Hammersley when swain check the bag. What they found was a location beacon, flippers, goggles and a snorkel. So they knew that the guy was planing of jumping ship. And the search came up empty for a bomb on Hammersley which Mike was please about also.
When buffer return to the bridge Nikki turn to him "the guy planing on escaping"
"How"
"He got a beacon, and scuba gear" Nikki stood up and walk over to the computer map.
She did some typing "Nikki what is it"
"If he planing on escaping, he would head to this island here since we are close to it" then she did some more typing
"Plus the currents will pull him to the island. I think that must be the pick up point"
"I'll let the captain, know" he kiss her then turn around when mike and Kate return to the bridge.
"sir Nikki check out that if the guy did escape he would of headed to one of the island near by"
"Which one" mike asked as he and Kate step ford to where Nikki is
"This one sir" Nikki said pointing to an island
"With the currents he would land there" mike turn to Kate
"We could use the beacon to catch the ones who going to pick him up" Kate said
"Ok we will sit behind the island here" mike said
"and have HRIB drop shore party here" Mike pointed on the map. Nikki step a side so Kate could take over and gave a new course direction.
Twenty minutes later shore party was drop off and Hammersley move around the island. The shore party waited behind some sand dunes and grass since the beacon was activated. They waited for over two hours when they heard a boat showed up and stop then they saw two guys get in the dingy then he headed to where they are.
When the two men who are armed was on the beach they look around and they walk towards the beacon "Now" Kate said then they stood up pointing there weapons at the two men yelling
"Australian navy put your weapons down" The shore party said as they quickly ran forward.
The two men put there weapons on the ground and raise here arms just as two HRIBS showed up and boarded the boat to only see three guys on board. Once they were on the back of the boat and Hammersley showed up Mike was happy with the out come since he was on the boat.
He turn to the skipper "where Ray Walsmen" mike asked the skipper didn't answer him.
Then flipper step ford "You better answer him sir or you will also be charge for part of the attempted murder of navy sailor and pregnant navy officer." he look at flipper in shock
"you can't do that"
"By law yes, since the man you and your friends were going to pick up a assassin who try to kill the navy sailor and he admitted that he was ordered to kill the pregnant officer cause of what they know. If you can help us by telling us where Ray Walsmen is, captain here will put in a good word to the feds, it your choice sir"
"Pregnant, it was a women officer" he said in shock
"yes" Flipper said
"how far long is she"
"she due in two weeks" mike said.
The skipper look shock "I'll help you, what do you need to know" Mike and flipper smile.
