Secret

Dillon and the other camper is outside with Roxie and Dave as Kenji and Darius is standing in front of… pile of dung.

"Enjoy cleaning this up, boys." Roxie toss them their shovels.

Dillon and the others cover his noses as the others did, but Ben hold his mouth from barfing.

"We're going to the genetics lab."

The other campers followed her and Brooklynn snapshot the photo of them, cleaning the dung.

"Cologne." Dave said, tossing the bottle. "That'll help with the smell. And the ladies. What-what? But seriously, the stench of dinosaur poo can really linger."

"What? But…" Darius whined but the others left.

As they drove to the genetics lab, Brooklynn is checking her phone and feeling disappointed.

"Ugh. I'm still dropping followers? 'When are we gonna see cool stuff?'." She read the review. "Chill, dude. I just got here."

"So what's your next video?" Sammy said. "Maybe there's baby dino eggs in the lab. Everyone loves a baby video."

"Whatever it is, it'll be cool."

Dillon then noticed Ben is covering his arm with hand sanitizer as Yasmina did.

"Sanitzer. Who knows what kind of creepy dino goo is at that lab?" Ben said, squeezing bottle on his leg. "Gotta be ready for anything. The world is a grab-bag of gross, and we're all just along for the moist, sticky roller coaster ride called life."

Dillon and Yasmina looked each other before she grabbed Ben's sanitizer and rub it in her hands before Dillon did the same thing for safety precautions. He then noticed the sign that says 'Research Lab' with pointing straight ahead.

"What's good Brooklanders? Today, I'm coming to you from one of Jurassic World's coolest remote genetics labs!" Brooklynn announced while filming.

The group arrived at the genetics lab where they make or cloned the dinosaurs.

"It's so shiny in here!" Sammy gasped.

"So this is where they make dinosaurs." Dillon said as he looked at the incubation egg and the shelves full of amber with mosquito inside.

"This is a rare window into the park's inner workings. Not just anyone can come here, you know." Roxie explained.

"Yep, this where the magic happens." Dave exclaimed. "Doc Wu-Wu!"

Dillon spotted the man, who was busy with the egg incubation.

"Guess who's ready to have a blastcyst from the pastocyst? The mitosis with the mosisis!" He said as Dr. Wu walked away. "We're ready for some chromosomes, my bro-mosome. Wu, there it is. I can do more."

"Please don't." Roxie said, annoyed. "We're here for the tour, Dr. Wu. Camp Cretaceous? Ms. Dearing should have mentioned."

Dillon looked at each incubation as the robotic arm rotates the dinosaur eggs before looking at the shelves while Sammy is holding the amber in her hands.

"I'm sorry, but Mr. Masrani has accelerated the timetable for our newest exhibit yet again." Dr. Wu said, taking the amber away from her. "I simply don't have to spend the afternoon babysitting children."

Dillon then watched the co-worker in the computer as they synthesized the DNA from the frog and combining with dinosaur's DNA before he went back to watched the dino eggs.

"See anything you like, Dillon?" Dave asked.

"Nothing, just watching to see which dinosaur egg is hatching?" He said.

"I bet you like to see which dinosaur egg you like, is it Triceratops or Apatosaurus?" He joked.

"Hey, it's my first time in Camp Cretaceous and seeing the real dinosaur egg before my eyes."

Suddenly, one of the eggs is moving as they noticed it.

"Hey, one of the eggs is moving." Dillon noted.

"You guys, look!" Dave called them, "Oh, I think one of the eggs is about to hatch."

The dinosaur egg is cracking as if it ready to break out of eggshell.

"That's not possible." Dr. Wu said, checking the incubation control as the campers gathered around them. "That Ankylosaurus has only been incubating for ten weeks."

The egg is cracking until one of the eggshells cracked open.

"Is that a tail?" Yasmina noted.

"Oh, ew, ew, ew! Get it off of me! Get it-" Ben yelped, as the baby Ankylosaurus comes out from the egg before it rolled backwards, but Ben catches it in time when it fell.

Ben took off the egg shell to see the baby's face.

"Aw!"

"Whoa!" Dillon gasped.

"Sweet! One of its head bumps is bigger than the other!" Brooklynn said.

"Asymmetry? In my lab?" Dr. Wu said, went over to see the baby dinosaur.

"She's so… tiny." Ben said, holding the baby dinosaur while Brooklynn is filming it

"But she won't stay tiny for long, right?" Roxie asked.

"That's the idea." He answered. "All the dinosaurs go through an accelerated growth cycle. They're supposed to incubate for thirteen weeks with no noticeable defects, but apparently this one slips through."

Dillon watches the baby Ankylosaurus as it was learning to walk, but toppled over.

'Ashamed that Darius is gonna flip out that he missed it.' He thought.

He then noticed Brooklyn is not with them.

'Where did she go?' He then noticed Sammy is not with them as well. 'Where'd did Sammy go to?'

That's until Sammy came back when he notice her.

"Hey, y'all. What did I miss?" She said.

"You missed the Ankylosaurus's egg hatching and Ben is holding it in his hand." He answered

"Aw, I missed it!"

"Hey, Sammy, have you seen Brooklynn?"

"Uh, I don't know. Maybe she went to find the bathroom." She answered before she passed him, "Oh, where's that baby?"

Dillon went back to see the baby, but looked back where Sammy came in, wondering where she is but shrugged about.

"Well, that's it, Ben. Looks like you here now." Roxie said.

"Time for you all to leave." Dr. Wu said, yanking Brooklynn's arm back to the group.

"Hey!" She said.

"Clearly this group has no respect for my lab."

"But what about Bumpy?" Ben asked, naming the dinosaur.

"Aw, Bumpy!" Dave grabbed his shoulders. "You gave it a name. That's precious!"

"The asset will be soon be released into a herd of ankylosauruses." Dr. Wu took Bumpy away from Ben. "Then she'll be their problem, just like you all cease to be my problem when you leave."

"Alright, hit the road! We are not wanted here." Dave said, leading the campers out the lab as Dr. Wu puts the baby back on the incubation.

The group went back on the jeep and headed to the camp ground.

Dillon wondered what Brooklynn did gets caught by Dr. Wu and he thought that she was looking for a bathroom, but instead the man was angry that he found her snooping around the lab.

'Guess I'll never know.' He shrugged it, but can't wait to write something on his journal when they get back.

On their way back to the camp, they stopped to see Kenji and Darius, who was panting from exhaustion.

"Hey, guys." Darius said as Kenji waved.

"Why are you two so out of breath?" Roxie asked, noticing their breathing.

"Just doing the job we're told." He said, "How was the field trip?"

"Oh, well, um, you know, Ben fell in love with a dinosaur and Super Star here got us booted from the lab." Yasmina said.

"That is not what happen-" Brooklynn protested.

"How'd poop patrol go?" Sammy asked, interrupting her.

"Uh…" Darius begins.

"Awesome! You all should've seen how I owned-" Kenji explained.

"This valuable experience!" He cuts in. "Um, learned a lot about ourselves and, um… yep!"

"Oh! Well, then, hit the showers." Roxie said, wincing the smell of dung. "And maybe stay in there for a while?"

"Use soap." Ben advised. "Lots of soap!"

Roxie drove the jeep around them and headed back to camp.

Journal entry #2

My camping experience is very lively when the camp counselors, Dave and Roxie took us to the zipline tower where the workers herded the dinosaurs and I was so amazed to see the real live dinosaur before my eye can see. The campers named Darius and Kenji, who got in trouble in first day. I don't know how they got in trouble, but they were to clean up the pile of dung as their punishment. Roxie took us to the genetics lab where they make dinosaurs and Dr. Wu is in charge of making them and a very busy man. What's surprising is I get to see the egg hatched into baby Ankylosaurus and then she imprinted Ben as her surrogated mother until we get booted out of the lab when Brooklynn was caught snooping around the lab. What she did, I'll never know what, but at least I get to see the hatching of dinosaur egg.

Dillon wraps up his journal and puts it under pillow before going to sleep.

As the lights out, someone is sneaking out in the jungle and the aerial drone is descending down to the ground. They plugged in with something that looks like a flash drive before it flies away to somewhere.
