Lena was happily dancing in the bar; Maggie was dancing nearby. Normally, she would feel uncomfortable seeing so many people watching her dance; she wouldn't even want to dance to loud music. But now, now Lena felt alive; she happily moved her arms and hips, dancing to the music at the bar. People were watching her, good, she could make them all into her minions.
"Yo, Lena, watch this," said Maggie, grabbing a large bottle of alien alcohol, and drinking it quickly, before burping. Her future sister law acted unrestrained and silly; Lena herself refused to drink much. She just wanted all these … minions to treat her like a queen. She was a Luthor, afterall; people had to treat her appropriately. Lena continued dancing provocatively in the bar; several men and women approached her, but Lena lightly threw her fingers, throwing them all back several meters away. One man who tried to ask her for a dance ended on the bar counter.
"Good party," said Lena, dancing, and slowly approaching Maggie. "It's a pity that our future wives aren't here having fun with us. Oh well, I will just let these minions grovel before my feet."
Maggie laughed, drinking another bottle, jumping on a table, and starting to dance while still standing on a table. Life was good; the two of them were having so much fun; the only thing which would have made it better if Kara was in there, wearing a choker collar, dancing around a polearm, and pleasing Lena. Yes, Kara should please her.
Lena and Maggie continued dancing for several more hours. When they were done; the two of them flew to L Corp; Lena crushed on her sofa she liked sitting with Kara, while Maggie crushed on Lena's desk.
Kara and Alex stood in Lena's office; Lena's balcony was still open. Kara got a phone call from the bar they liked to visit; apparently some guests were surprised with Lunargirl and Powercop having a wild dancing party last night. Kara wondered why Lena and Maggie decided to party last night; they didn't even call either her or Alex.
"They are still sleeping, oh wait, I think Lena just yawned," said Kara, looking at Lena, who still wore her costume, stretching her legs, and yawning.
"I … I am going to bring Maggie to my apartment; we will give you privacy," said Alex, approaching Maggie, and lifting her. Maggie opened her eyes.
"Danvers," said Maggie as Alex flew her to the apartment. Kara liked Maggie; she would be happy to call the Detective her sister in law in the future, but she really wanted to talk to Lena privately.
Kara approached Lena, and sat on the floor next to the couch. Lena stretched once more, opening her arms. "Such a good dream, Supergirl collared and chained … hey Kara," said Lena, sitting up on the couch.
"Lena, Lena," said Kara. She made a mental note on talking to Lena about her fantasies, but for now she needed to have a more serious conversation with her future wife.
"Supergirl … I see my Kryptonian minion came to beg me to destroy her," said Lena, rising slightly in the air.
"Lena? What gotten into you?" Kara asked.
"Kara Zor El, I feel so alive! Bow to me, Kryptonian menace," said Lena, grinning wickedly. Menace?
"Lena, are you all right?" Kara asked.
"Of course I am alright; I've never been so much happier," said Lena, smiling. "I danced so much last night; I thought about things, many, many things. I realized that I was too timid. I let others to control me. I let you to control me. But now I am free!"
"Lena, I would never want to control you. I love, you Lena," said Kara. Seriously, what had gotten into Lena?
"I doubt that, Kara Zor El. Can I call you Kara Zor El, cause you are a Kryptonian alien. And to think I once told you that I loved you," said Lena, as a tear escaped Kara's eye.
"Lena –"
"Kara, Kara, Kara. I see who you are now; I see it very clearly. Aww, don't cry, look at me, look at me! Kara Zor El, you are a Kryptonian menace. And you never trusted me. But who can blame you? After all, I am a Luthor," said Lena. More tears escaped Kara's eyes.
"Lena, you might be a Luthor, but you are a good person, kind, smart, and so beautiful," said Kara. Was Lena breaking up with her? Did Kara spook Lena with all the talk about romantic soulmates and engagements? Was Lena drunk?
"Lies, lies, pathetic Kara Zor El. You never once trusted me; all your talk about loving me were lies. You thought I was different, but I see that Lillian and Lex were right; I am a Luthor, I get what I want, and Kryptonians are a danger to us all," said Lena, smirking, and flying to Karlena who currently napped on her pillow. Lena grabbed the tortie cat, who began to meow, wiggling her paws, trying to escape. Oh no, the kitty, the kitty!
"Lena, stop this. This isn't you," said Kara, flying towards Lena. She had to get Karlena; something was wrong with Lena. "Give me Karlena. Slowly."
Kara extended her hands.
"Catch," said Lena, laughing, throwing the cat in air. Kara flew and quickly caught their cat; Karlena extended her paws, hugging Kara's neck tightly. How could Lena hate their cat so much?
"Lena –"
"Kara, I hid who I really was. But I see it now, I am a Luthor, the best Luthor. And I have all the power in the world! The aliens of the National City will suffer. Humans too. But first, I want to give you a present."
Lena looked at the ceiling, her eyes turned red; she sent red rays of energy at the ceiling, making a hole; Lena laughed, flying away from the L Corp building. What had gotten into Lena? Kara remained standing in Lena's office with Karlena tightly hugging her neck.
Alex dropped Maggie on their bed in her apartment. Alex knew Maggie liked to spend time at the bar, but something was off; Alex just couldn't place what exactly happened.
"Maggie," said Alex, looking at her future wife who was sitting on the edge of the bed. "Are you okay?"
"Of course I am okay, Danvers," said Maggie, standing up. "I had a wild night; I had so much booze. Kryptonian metabolism is amazing. I feel so much alive."
"Well, that's good. I was just surprised you didn't call Kara or I," said Alex.
Maggie smirked, and took a step towards her, bringing her lips very close to Alex without actually kissing her. "Question is, why would I call either of you, especially you, Alex Danvers?" Maggie asked. What the hell?
"Maggie, why are you like this?" Alex asked.
"Aww, Danvers, you really thought I actually liked you? Well, too bad, I never liked you; you were a nice … plaything, treating me frequently with a lot of physical passion, but I never ever actually cared for you," said Maggie, smirking. No, no! What did she do wrong? Maggie, oh no, Maggie, her girlfriend hated her and it was all her fault. Maggie, her lovely Maggie didn't care about her. Was she breaking up with her? Maggie probably thought she was weak for getting captured by Oscar.
"Maggie, my love, Maggie, are you sure? Let's sit down, we can talk this over … please don't break up with me, I love you Maggie Sawyer, so, so much," Alex said, tears escaping her eyes.
"Breaking up with a pathetic Powergirl sounds good. You, Alex, call yourself a Powergirl, but deep down you are a pathetic and weak little girl. My father was right, he saw you for who you truly are, a menace, a Kryptonian witch," said Maggie, grinning. More tears escaped Alex's eyes. Maggie, her Maggie hated her!
"I should have let my dad end your life," said Maggie, giggling. "Perhaps I could have reconnected with him. You really put some charm on me, Alexandra. My father was not a kind man, but he was my father, and he loved me. Unlike you."
"Maggie, please, don't say these things, I … I love you, I love you, Maggie!"
More tears began running down her cheeks.
"Aww, poor and crying Alex Danvers," said Maggie, touching Alex's chin with her right hand. "You think you are so powerful, so strong, and yet, you are a weak woman … child. You don't even deserve having these powers. And you charmed me with wicked Kryptonian magic, and made me kill my father … perhaps I shall return the favor."
Maggie looked in the kitchen. Why was she looking there? Alex looked in the same direction, noting that Gertrude woke up and now stood on all fours. She began barking weakly.
"Oh look, I can start with her," said Maggie. Her eyes turned red; she released red energy rays that landed inches away from Gertude who frantically began running in the apartment. Maggie shot her heat vision once more, almost hitting Gertrude. What the hell, why was Maggie tormenting their dog? Alex flew to Gertrude, grabbed her, and held the dog in her hands.
"Maggie, I don't know what has gotten into you. You have to stop!"
"Aww, weak Alex as usual. I will see you soon, for now, let us enjoy this fire!" Maggie exclaimed. Fire?
Maggie looked on the floor, sending heat vision on it; and igniting the floor, starting a fire. She laughed, flying towards the still opened window, and escaped. Maggie, her Maggie, why was she so mean?
Karen, Carter, and Ruby were sitting in a pizzeria; they just ordered five large pizzas. Karen liked various pizza toppings; she especially enjoyed cheese pizza with tomatoes. As Karen was eating her second pizza, she saw a tall man enter the pizzeria, holding a gun, shooting in the air.
"I think I feel sick," said Karen, pretending to throw up. She saw that people in the café began to scream; she used this opportunity to ran away without others noticing her. She escaped the café, and quickly flew away. Landing in a dark valley, she quickly took her glasses off, opened her shirt, revealing her superhero suit. Once she quickly changed, she flew back to the café, and landed in front of the robber.
"I heard of you, Astrogirl! No, don't hurt me!" The robber said, lifting his hands in the air. Karen grinned, taking a step towards the man. "No, stay back! I heard from a buddy of mine that you are a very scary alien!"
Karen took another step, grabbing the robber by his shirt, and lifting him in the air. "You won't hurt anyone," said Karen.
"I won't, I won't, just let me go, please!" The robber said, while Karen still held him in the air. She chuckled, dropping the man on the ground. While still sitting on the floor, the robber crawled backwards, away from her.
Karen saw two police officers enter the café. "Officers, this man is yours. He tried to rob this fine pizza restaurant," said Karen, waving at the two men, and flying away. She quickly changed in the same valley into her normal clothes; Karen put her glasses, and returned to the café, finding Carter and Ruby laughing at how Karen scared the robber. She sat on her chair, resuming eating the pizza.
Once they finished eating, they paid for pizza, and exited the café. Perhaps the three of them could visit the park, or zoo. As they began walking, Karen heard a man say word "Kryptonite." She turned her head, briefly scanning the street, noticing a man standing on the other side of the street, talking on his phone.
"Carter, can you give me your phone?" Karen asked. Carter nodded, retrieving his phone from his pocket, and giving it to Karen. She looked around, checking if anyone was looking, and quickly run across the street, arriving in a dark corner, getting relatively close to the man on the phone. She turned on the video camera on her phone, recording the conversation.
"Yes, that's right. Kryptonite worked. Did it hurt, no, I used Red Kryptonite variant to make Lena Luthor and her friend into menaces. Yes, yes, Lena Luthor will show to everyone how wicked she really is. Talk to you later, Morgan out," said the man, ending the phone call. Red Kryptonite? Lena? Karen waited for the man to walk away in a opposite direction where she was standing, looked around once more, and quickly returned to her friends.
"Ruby, Carter, I heard some Morgan dude talk about Red Kryptonite," said Karen, looking at her two friends with concern.
"We have to tell cousins Kara and Alex," said Karen. Ran to the dark alley, quickly changing, and then returning to her friends wearing her Astrogirl costume.
"Let's go to the DEO," said Carter. Karen nodded, lifting her two friends, and flying to the DEO.
Kara stood at the DEO table next to Alex. "We need to figure out what happened … Alex, Lena was so mean! She called me a menace!"
"Maggie tried to set Gertrude on fire! Poor Gertrude," said Alex, as her dog was laying on the chair next to Karlena; both animals were sleeping peacefully.
"Kara, Kara, Kara!" Karen flew in the DEO, holding her friends Ruby and Carter.
"Supergirl," said Carter.
"Powergirl," said Ruby, as Karen landed on the floor, and put her friends on the ground.
"Okay, slow down, what happened?" Kara asked.
"Kara, Kara, some man with the phone talked about kryptonite," said Karen, taking the phone from her pocket, and playing the video recording to her. Oh no.
"Red Kryptonite! How did Edge … you know what, it doesn't matter, we need to help Maggie and Lena," said Alex.
"Morgan Edge hated Lena. He had to have learned about Lena being a Kryptonian. He wants to ruin Lena's reputation. Wait, Lena was wearing her Lunargirl suit; she can't ruin her reputation as Lena Luthor," said Kara.
"But using Red K on Lena … maybe Edge was hoping to ruin her relationship with you. Red K Lena would ruin her Lunargirl reputation," said Alex.
"He wants to destroy my relationship, without ruining Lena's reputation. Lillian," said Kara, smacking the table with force, creating a crack in it. "Lillian must be behind this. This would be her perfect way to drive Lena and I apart."
Alex put her hand on Kara's shoulder. "We will save our girlfriends," said Alex.
"You are right," said Kara. She looked at Karen. "Bring this recording to Cat."
Karen nodded. She took her friends, each into each arm. Carter took the phone. Karen rose in the air, and flew away. A DEO agent turned the TV on; showing Lena and Maggie in their suits flying in the middle of the city. Alex approached a cupboard, and retrieved two anti-red Kryptonite guns; Kara took one of them. She hated herself for having to use a gun on Lena; Kara knew she had to do it, she had to save the women they loved.
Kara and Alex flew to the center of the city. When they arrived, they saw Lena now sitting on a custom made chair that resembled a throne. Next to her stood Maggie. "Behold your new Queen Lunargirl. From now on, I will rule this city. Grovel before me, peasants," said Lena. Maggie meanwhile laughed, sending red rays at the public; she wasn't quite hitting people, but her attacks were causing panic.
Kara and Alex landed next to the throne. "Lunargirl, stop this madness," said Kara, taking a few steps to her girlfriend. "Lunargirl, you are a good person."
Lena smirked, flying towards Kara, grabbing her by the waist, and then using her head to hit Kara. Lena, she couldn't hit Lena, no, why … Edge was an ass. A tear escaped Kara's eye, as she began rising rapidly in the air, while Lena was still holding her waist. As they were ascending, Kara saw Alex and Maggie engage in combat down on the street.
"Kara, pathetic Kara. You came to die! Kara, Kara, I never loved you. I feel … I feel so alive! Now that I've conquered the National City, I will then next become the Queen of the entire planet. Yes, people will kneel before me," said Lena smirking. No, Lena was her angel, Lena was a good person.
Kara pushed Lena away from her. The two women separated, looking at one another. "Kara Zor El, you've been a thorn in my side for too long," said Lena. "I treated you well, my pet menace. But now, it's time for you to die!"
Kara and Lena were sufficiently far enough from one another for Kara to be able to take a shot. She pointed her hand, only then realizing that her gun must have slipped from her hands when Lena tackled her. No, without the anti-Red Kryptonite gun, Lena would remain affected with this … madness. This variant of Red Kryptonite seemed to make Lena angrier much faster than the variant that affected her and Alex.
"Lena, please," said Kara.
Lena laughed, doing several circles around her. "Lena Luthor is no more. I am Lunargirl, the Queen of the World!" Lena said.
Kara spotted a red and blue dot appear in the distance, rapidly approaching the two of them. Clark. Kara saw she wasn't the only person who spotted her cousin.
"Miss Luthor, stop this madness," said Clark, hovering in the air.
"Rude Kryptonian, what a surprise! I take it back, I will kill Supergirl later; I will enjoy cracking your skull!"
"Lena, I was wrong, you are not Lex! Stop this, you are not yourself. You love my cousin," said Clark.
"You are wrong," said Lena, laughing. "I like being like my brother. No, better, stronger, smarter. I am the true Luthor."
Lena flew at Clark, throwing several punches at Clark. But Clark only blocked her hits; staying solely on defense. Lena finally landed a hit, sending Clark plummeting, then flying after him.
Kara flew at Lena, grabbing her, and accelerated, flying down. She had to find the gun, she had to. Clark was flying back to the surface, Lena chasing him, while Kara was holding her. Several minutes later, Kara and Lena crashed on the ground.
Lena punched Kara, sending her flying towards a wall of a nearby building. When Kara hit the wall, she destroyed it, and now laid in a pile of bricks. Kara quickly jumped on her feet, seeing Lena throwing punches at Clark, who trying to block her punches.
Kara also saw Maggie and Alex still fighting; Maggie was now throwing punches and kicks at Alex.
Kara saw her gun on the ground. She flew to it, and tried to point at Lena, but the two were still fighting; Kara couldn't find a clear shot.
"Lena, please," said Kara, tears escaping her eyes.
"You!" Lena landed a successful punch at Clark, sending him on the ground. Lena flew at Kara, looked at the gun, and threw it on the ground; Lena grabbed Kara by her suit, holding her in the air. No, Kara couldn't fight Lena, she couldn't.
"Lena –"
"It's time for you to die!" Lena exclaimed. Kara saw Clark standing up, lifting the gun, and pointing at Lena.
"I am so sorry," said Clark, sending the red energy ray at Lena.
"I will –"
Lena blacked out, losing her hold over Kara, falling on the ground. Kara escaped Lena's hold, and caught Lena before she hit the ground. Lena, her Lena was safe!
Alex didn't want to hit her Maggie. She had to. She hated herself for having to fight Maggie. She saw Kara fighting Lena; Clark seemed to join her sister. Good, he could help; hopefully Kara and Clark could cure Lena and help her.
Alex kept scanning the ground. She dropped the gun earlier, trying to find it on the street; unfortunately, Maggie kept throwing punches, making Alex focus on fighting her instead of looking for the gun.
"Maggie, please, I don't want to fight you," said Alex, as Maggie launched herself at Alex, putting her in a chokehold.
"It's a pity, because I do want to fight you," said Maggie, grinning. "In fact, I want to kill you, Powergirl! There can only be one superhero with "power" in their name!"
She saw a person wearing black, red, and blue colors land next to them. "Powergirl," said Karen.
"Astrogirl, get out of here," said Alex, as Maggie began choking her. Karen seemed to spot something; she flew to the corner of a street, grabbing it. Her gun!
"Is this the gun to cure Maggie?" Karen asked.
Maggie laughed, still holding Alex in the chokehold. "Little girl, once I am done with Powergirl, you are next! I will end you too. Watch how I end your cousin's life!"
Another person landed next to them; Alex saw that Lois wore a black military uniform; Lois really needed to get a new suit if she was planning to help them. "Superman's reporter wife, welcome. Look how I end Powergirl's life!" Maggie laughed.
Karen flew to Lois, giving the gun. Lois looked at the gun, and then at Alex, who nodded.
"Okay, time to die!" Maggie said, apparently ready to break her neck. Alex saw that Lois fired the gun, sending red energy at Maggie. She loosened the chokehold, and blacked out. Before Maggie fell on the ground, Alex caught her.
Kara looked at Lena and Maggie laying peacefully in the DEO med bay beds. Kara and Alex stood closest to the beds; Clark, Lois, and Karen stood a few feet behind them. Finally the Lena and Maggie opened their eyes.
"Kara, what happened, oh no, I am so, so sorry," said Lena. Lena, her Lena was safe.
"Lena, it's okay, everything will be okay," said Kara, flying towards Lena, and hugging her.
"Alex –"
"I've got you Mags," said Alex, flying towards Maggie, and hugging her.
Hank entered the med bay. "Sorry to interrupt this, but you all got to see this," said Hank, pointing his remote control at the TV attached to the wall. Kara looked on the screen, seeing Cat Grant giving a special report, showing evidence of Morgan Edge talking to someone about Red Kryptonite. Cat's report included Edge talking about Red Kryptonite, while omitting mentions of Lena and Maggie's names. Good, it was time for Edge to face justice.
"I am so sorry, Kara. I … I love you with all my heart," said Lena, kissing Kara on the lips.
"I know. Red Kryptonite turns us all evil. It's okay. The important thing is that all of us are safe," said Kara.
"Lena Luthor, Lena, Red K might have turned you evil, but you are not evil. I meant what I said earlier; you are not Lex," said Clark.
"Thank you," said Lena.
"Alex, I … I choked you, I –"
"Maggie, it's all right. Like Kara said, Red Kryptonite turns good people into evil versions of themselves. But you are Maggie, my Maggie, the woman I love," said Alex, kissing Maggie on the lips.
Clark and Lois waved, leaving the four people lying in the beds. Hank then excused himself; apparently he was having a conversation with Astra earlier, and the two missed all the action. Karen smiled, waved her hand, and flew to reunite with her friends, who were waiting for her in Cat's office.
Kara smiled; while things Lena said hurt, she knew that Lena didn't mean any of that. They would get through this; Red Kryptonite would not break their strong bond. Kara loved Lena; she knew Alex loved Maggie. Soon, sometime in the near future, they would officially become a family. Speaking of family, Kara needed to get Alex alone; they were going on a bracelet search. Kara had a good feeling; Cadmus was almost defeated, soon all their troubles would be over. They still were fighting Cadmus, but soon, this fight will be over. And when they would win, Kara wanted to propose to Lena, at the same time as her sister proposing to Maggie.
Lillian Luthor sat in her jail cell; her trial awaited. How could her own daughter become this … alien? No, Lillian would work tirelessly to turn Lena back into a human. And when Lillian would get a chance, she would personally stab Kara Zor El through her heart.
Lillian kept looking at the wall; she heard a noise. Lillian looked at the her window that had several bars. At least she could breathe fresh air that was entering her cell through the spaces between the iron bars. She spotted a small spider robot crawl between the iron bars, and onto her bed. A small screen appeared from the robot's back. Lillian saw General Lane's face.
"Lillian," said General Lane through the small screen.
"Lane," said Lillian. What did he want?
"Lillian, our plans are almost ready to be set in motion. Soon, our enemies will be no more, soon, Cadmus will show the world the truth. Soon, we will remove all the aliens from our planet. Hold tight, I will soon rescue you and others. Our projects are almost ready," said General Lane, as the screen disappeared. Good. Soon, she would be free. Soon the Kryptonian family would be no more. Soon she would capture her rebellious daughter, and show the world that Luthors meant business.
