First, the Theme of the story:

Before I wrote this story, I had to think hard on its Theme. Like, what kind of message do I want this story to tell. So I thought about how much Percy's story and how he never really had a chance to live a normal life. Sure, he was able to have a nice family and live a peaceful life afterwards, but it didn't come without hardship and sacrifice. I like to think that Percy would be an overprotective brother and father and want his kids and his half-sister to live the life he never got the chance to have. Of course, when Estelle got attacked, he feared for the worse that Estelle would like to be a part of this side of the world. He would try everything he can to keep his family safe; thus, why he is living in California. He knows that his presence would bring danger to his family.

When Estelle realized her newfound powers, she was forced to get rid of her powers and live a peaceful life. But she couldn't do that, knowing full well that there are people younger than her fighting for their lives. She was raised by people who cared and cherished life. She couldn't look away and pretend everything was okay knowing that Percy and the others suffered in the dark.

And so, she made a choice.

And that's what the theme is in this story.

Choices.

Life will give you choices. People will offer you choices and some will either make the choice for you while others support whatever you decide. The people that care for you react in different ways; but in the end, the emotion is still the same. They all care for you and wish for a bright future for you.

Being Spider-Man is a choice. In the first Spider-Man comic, Peter Parker made a choice to use his powers to be famous and popular at first; and it cost him his uncle's life, the one man who inspired him to be more… to be greater. Afterward, he decided to use his powers for others. And since then, all of his hardship, sacrifices and commitment to help others has inspired so many people to this day.

Doing the right thing is a choice. Life is hard, that is the cold truth. No matter how weak or powerful; how rich or poor; how smart or average you are, life will keep throwing punches at you. Your health is more important, no matter what. But if life gives you a choice to do the right thing, then you have to take it. You may not be rewarded for it or no one will know of your good deeds.

But you will.

It may have been some small gesture of kindness, but like everything else, it spreads. Your kindness may inspire others to do the same. You may never know if it truly changed someone's life, but at least you'd know did something good. You'd know you made a difference.

All by making a choice.

That, to me, is what being Spider-Man is. Choosing to do good simply because it's the right thing to do. Life will hit you hard no matter what, that's why you learn to take those hits and get back up. And if you can, help those who can't by themselves.

That to me.. Is what a real hero is.

Ugh… I'm sorry. I'm getting all mushy overthinking this; but, when I was writing this story, I found my passion for writing and would like to officially publish a story that people would love. So again, thank you for reading my story and I hope you enjoy it.

Now for some answers:

Is this story linked to the MCU universe?

Answer: Yes… and No.

Let me explain, this universe is entirely its own universe. Do not forget, this is a fan-story so anything that happened during or after EITHER of the franchise is not officially canon. Therefore, this is an alternate universe to the official PJO universe. However, it is connected to the whole "Multiverse" of the MCU, thus why you have a small scene about Miguel and Peter talking about the TVA. Both the TV Show, Loki and the movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, are both involved. The reason for that is because I planned for something big in the future and it really depends on what route Marvel is going to take in the future. Also, a side note, since the Multiverse does exist in this story, that means that both movies and TV Show adaptations of Percy Jackson and Olympians are also canon as well. Meaning that all three universes exist simultaneously.

Do I have to read or watch any past contents to understand the series?

Answer: No.

You do not have to see any of the other movies and shows nor comics of Marvel. Same thing for Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, you do not have to reread or start reading any of those books. Any context or references from previous books will be explained along the way as well. So rest assured, if you have little to no knowledge on either franchise, you can still enjoy this story. However, if you would like to know more about either of the two, I can make a list of movies or books from either fandom and where to start. Both franchises have their ups and downs, but overall… I had fun.

Why do I put a disclaimer on every chapter?

Answer: To avoid copyrights and not get my story taken down.

Have you guys heard of Dragon Ball Z Abridged? If you do, then you'd understand. If you don't… Well, let's just say that the owners of the franchise despise it and try to take it down many times. Again, this series is fan-made and any characters in those series are not mine. The only ones that are mine are the Original Characters I made such as Samantha Stacy; Lucas Stone; Daniel and Mitch; Tristan and Rebecca. Even the monsters such as Scorpion and the Vulture, which both were inspirations of Spider-Man's iconic villains, are original characters I made too.

Are there any future plans for this series?

Answer: Yes.

Originally, this was supposed to be a trilogy. However, as time passed, I started forming ideas for other projects and next thing I knew, I not only planned a trilogy, but rather three phases. So yes… There are going to be more stories in the coming future.

Will more iconic characters make appearances?

Answer: Yes.

Characters from the Percy Jackson Universe will make cameos and appearances in this trilogy. As for future projects, most of the main characters (Such as the Heroes of Olympus; The Kanes and Magnus Chase) will have a spin-off story of their own. I will also include some iconic Marvel characters as well such as Miguel O'Hara; Peter Parker; Doctor Strange; Loki and [REDACTED]. Also, more of my own original take of Iconic Marvel villains and heroes in the world of Mythology will come in the future.

Why did I write this story?

Answer: I'm a fan of both franchises.

Ever since I saw Spider-Man: No Way Home, I wanted to make a Spider-Man fanfiction but I don't know where I'm going to go with it. Then, I saw Across the Spider-Verse and one time, I saw someone in Reddit make a Percy Jackson Spider-Sona. I thought, "Annabeth would hate it if Percy became Spider-Man."

And that's when it hit me.

Why not make a Spider-Man fighting mythological versions of his iconic villains? I then planned out how it'll go. It was at first going to be just the Vulture as the main villain, then came Typhon; then came along the Minotaur and finally, Scorpion. All I needed next was Spider-Man. At first, I thought about doing a variant of Peter Parker but I felt like that's been done too many times. There's already Peter Parker, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy; so I needed someone new. Then I heard of a scene where Apollo talked to Percy about Estelle. That one quote gave me the idea to make Estelle be the perfect candidate for a new Spider-sona.

And thus, this series was born.

Will there be changes from Canon?

Answer: Yes and No.

I will do my very best to stay true to canon while also making some changes. It's really just character development that's crucial to the series. I will say this though, some of the characters that are [Redacted] will [Redacted]. I will not change their fate, but they will [Redacted] regardless. You may not like how I'm going to interpret some of these characters but I am going for a realistic point of view along with good (and bad) character developments. And for that, I am sorry; but please bear with it. Each character will go through some personal struggles that the books didn't talk too much about so I want to do it my way.

Is Samantha Stacy a Variant?

Answer: Yes.

Samantha is indeed a variant of Gwen Stacy. However, I am going to do an entirely original story for her so while she is Gwen Stacy, she's not just a side character nor is she going to be another Spider-sona. Sam is a daughter of Athena as well as an Otaku gamer who's also very intelligent and socially awkward. Also, there will be other variants as well in this universe so stay tuned for more. Her origin will be talked about as well. She will also have her own trilogy as well; though it's going to be more anime-based so if it's not to your liking, that is okay. And just like this series, you don't need to know the references or context. If you wish to know, you can always message me and I'll explain it to my knowledge.

Why a Curse Spider instead of a Radioactive one?

Answer: It makes more sense in the PJO universe.

I know that most Spider-Men became Spider-Man by getting bitten by a radioactive spider. However, as there is an ACTUAL Spider-woman in this universe, I thought I can make Estelle be a chosen candidate for Arachne's curse. I put some lore on it as well. You see, the tablet wasn't fully made by Arachne herself; but rather, her followers. Some of these followers were also members of the Cult of the Cosmos and wanted vengeance against the gods. Along this series, you will see more interactions between Estelle and Arachne. Because Arachne is not around, she will need a new body; which is what the curse was originally intended to be. However, Estelle seems to be very resilient to the curse's magic and has control over it. Arachne will try to break Estelle so that she can fully control her body and return to have her vengeance. Estelle, however, will not fall so easily so Arachne will do whatever it takes to prove that she is superior to her.

As for the magical web-shooters, I have been a fan of Spider-Man since the Raimi Films but I always prefer the tech web-shooters then natural. I feel like it'd be uncomfortable to shoot webs out of your wrist a lot. As for regular tech web-shooters, I feel like it would not fit well in the magical world of Percy Jackson. You got monsters like Harpies; Manticores; Centaurs and the Minotaur and they've been around for a long time. I feel like technology would be irrelevant at the moment.

Keyword: At the moment.

You saw what Leo did. Who knows what the future holds.

Who are the Cult of the Cosmos?

Answer: Basically this universe's Hydra from Marvel's Comics.

The Cult of the Cosmos is entirely based and inspired by the main villains from the Assassin's Creed Series but they are not the same one. You do not have to play any of the Assassin's Creed games for these villains have a different goal than the ones in the games. The Cult in PJO fear the mythological and wish to wipe it off existence and that includes: The gods, the monsters, demigods and magic. They wish to create a world that is not chaotic and can be controlled in the shadows. They won't be a big concern in Estelle's trilogy but they will be mentioned several times.

Who's the TRUE main villain of this series?

Answer: Obviously, it's [Redacted].

[Data File Deleted]

Will Estelle have Canon Events?

Answer: [Redacted]

[Data File Corrupted]

Will there be more iconic heroes in the making?

Answer: Yes

[Data File Access Locked. Requires Director's Access]

And that's all the questions I have for now. If you have any more questions or concerns, leave a comment and I will reply as soon as possible. Thank you all for everything and I hope to see you in the next story.

And now, here's a sneak peek of what's to come in the next story:

I closed the door quickly and rapidly walked towards Sam and Piper.

"You guys!" I whispered. "We gotta go!"

Piper frowned, "What's wrong? Everything okay?"

I replied, "There's a cabin in there with a woman surrounded by dead yakuza thugs!"

I gestured at the back of the cart, fearing for whoever is back there. Sam, on the other hand, is getting excited.

"Yes! Now all we need is Brad Pitt, an old Yakuza guard and his son; a couple of British hitmen and we'll be okay!"

"Now's not the time for you to recreate movie scenes, Sam!" I yelled.

I heard the other door open behind us and I sat down to hide. I gestured to Sam and Piper to be quiet. Footsteps were being heard as they entered the cabin. I peek to get a good look at the woman. She seems to be an adult Japanese woman with straight long black hair. She was wearing simple black jeans with combat boots and a yellow turtle-neck shirt with a black leather jacket. She looks nicely built and very beautiful, but those eyes look sharp and cold. Like her life was empty.

Almost looks… familiar to someone else I know.

She started speaking Japanese and as someone who is only visiting Japan, I do not know what she said.

Sam, on the other hand.

"She said come out, I can smell you."

I cursed in silence, fearing that we were already spotted. Before we could even stand up, another voice was heard on the other side of the cart. I looked behind and saw a man standing up and facing the woman. He was wearing a casual look, blue pants with brown boots while wearing a dark blue buttoned shirt and a brown jacket. He had black hair with a scruffy beard and seems to look around the same age as the woman.

He started talking in Japanese as well, but there were a few words I did understand.

Perks for watching too many anime, I guess.

Seems like they're siblings and they were arguing about something.

"Sam?" Piper said. "What are they saying."

Sam replied, "The woman is telling the man to stay out of her way… for their mother was wrong. Humans and… Yokai can not coexist."

Okay… that sounds like a threat.

Just when I finally get a vacation, a new threat rises.

Being a hero is hard.

Suddenly, sparks appeared on the woman and next thing I knew, animal ears and tails emerged from the woman. Same goes for the man as well.

My eyes widened in shock as I realized what these two are.

"They're Kitsunes!" I whispered.

In case none of you are aware of what Kitsunes are, they're basically human fox-spirits with magical powers. They're well known in Japan as tricksters, demons and other types of spirits.

The man spoke and Sam translated.

"He said that he will do what he must."

I can't tell if she's just referencing Star Wars or he actually said that.

Then the woman replied, and I think we all know what she said.

"You will try, she said," Sam translated.

The woman raises one of her hands and grips it, revealing her knuckles.

Then, spectral claws came out.

Sam and I were shocked.

"Holy crap!" Sam whispered. "She took the claws out of her knuckles! Like… Like…"

I knew what she's going to say and at that moment, I realized that this vacation just got a whole lot more… uncanny.

"...Like the Wolverine," I finished.

Next Time:

Estelle and the Mark of Arachnid: The Legend of the Moon Princess

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM FOR THIS ONE! This story is going to take place in Japan and it's similar to that of Spider-Man: Far From Home. However, the plot is going to be entirely original with plenty of cultural references, both modern and ancient. How it's going to go is like this: Think of everything you know about Percy Jackson and Spider-Man.

Good, now throw it out the window.

This story is going to be my own idea for something new. There will be lots of anime references along with some inspiration of another Spider-Man variant created in Japan.

I will also be introducing Yokai into this universe.

Yokai are mythological beings with supernatural powers. Many consider them as either spirits, demons or gods. It varies on certain folklores and entities. Most would consider them as shapeshifters, ghosts, monsters, tricksters, etc.

The Yokais were never mentioned in the PJO universe (As far as I know) so I want to take this on a unique route that was inspired from anime. If you ever seen a couple of Rom-Com or slice of life anime where Yokai live peacefully in modern Japan, those shows gave me an idea. I like to introduce these Yokai beings not as demons, but rather humans with… uncanny traits.

You may not understand all the references I am going to make, but that's okay. If you like to know them, let me know and I will explain it.

Thank you for reading this afterword, I hoped this series piqued your interest and would like to continue following up on it. If you know anyone who is interested in either PJO or Spider-Man; or like to get into either of the two, share this story. Seeing so many people reading and enjoying this story motivates me to keep going.

Thank you again as always, until the next update.
