Chapter 1 - New Adventure
[Location Unknown on Earth]
Up in the sky above the clouds there is an army of airships that look like metallic aquatic creatures that are controlled by the Eggman Empire. It began shooting across the sky against a red bi-plane with silver wings and red edges, on fin it has an emblem of a red circle with ribbon and star in center, and white bold letters and big line underneath that says SONIC. Called the Tornado.
"Hold on guys, This gonna be bumpy!" shouts yellowish orange fox with two tails that pilot the plane. He has blue iris, three hairs sticking out on his head, white fur on his front torso with fluff sticking out, and his muzzle is white with fluffy fur pop out on the ends and short black nose. He is wearing white gloves that strap with buckles on the sleeves, red and white boots with buckles holding the fold up sleeves, and wearing goggles on his head.
"Lets just hope we can make it there smoothly, Tails." said a pink hedgehog that sits behind the pilot seat. She has green iris peach muzzle and a black short nose, three strands of hair in front of her head and long black eyelashes, her hair is flat short quills. She is a sleeveless red dress that ends near the knees with white edges on the skirt and neck. White gloves that have golden rings around her wrists. And she is wearing red boots that's almost knee high that's folded a little bit that shows white and white stripe going up in the front center.
"Careful guys! Eggman bots at 4 o'clock!" yells a red echidna, the last guardian that stands on one the wings while holding it. He has purple iris, a peach muzzle that has a pointy black nose, on his chest is a white crest shape, and he has long dreadlocks quills. He is wearing white boxing-like gloves with two spikes popping out on his knuckles and folded sleeves around wrist. His shoes have red on the toes and heels, yellow on center, metal lego like brick as a buckle on top the yellow, and on around the ankles is green sleeve.
Other side of the wing is a blue hedgehog giving a smug-like grin. He has a green iris, peach arms, front torso, and muzzle with long black nose. His quills are sleek and medium. He is wearing white gloves that's folded sleeves around the wrists. His red boots have a white strap around the middle of the boots with golden buckle and the boots sleeves are folded to show that it's white. "Lets show this egghead what we made of. Ready Knuckles?"
"Ready Sonic!" replied Knuckles gave a share a grin. Both hop off from the wings and charge towards the different badniks and pawn series. Knuckles glides then punches them and hops on the others to punch while Sonic homing attacks several of them at a quick pace. While that was happening, Tails was controlling the Tornado weave and spins dodging any line of fire towards them. After a bit the bots are out the way Sonic and Knuckles landed back to the plane then they zoom off closer to the fleet for a landing.
[On top one of the egg fleet runway]
They just safely landed on the airship and the team hopped off the plane. Tails grabs an item capsule out and stores Tornado in then puts it up while taking out the Tornado 3 aka the Cyclone. It's a blue monoplane that has a missile launcher at the back and a mini gun at the front. He hops in and turns it to a walker mode, it loses its wings to legs.
The heroes run inside to find Eggman. Along the way there is the horde of Eggpawns and Badniks blocking their paths. Knuckles ran up and punched or uppercut the pawns as Tails fired the Cyclone mini gun, the one that flew up. Sonic homing attacks several badniks then homing toward Amy as she summons her Piko Hammer and smacks Sonic back to the bots, smashing them.
"We're almost there guys, just around that corner we be near Eggman's control room." As he said that several E-12 Behemoth pop out the corner. But just when they were about to fight the E-12s, missiles were fired out the blue and the Behemoths exploded.
"Eggman robots have been terminated, sensor picking up more ahead prepared to crush them!" An elite combat robot stepped on the destroyed E-12, it was E-123 Omega. It has red and black colors around him, the yellow part of his head and red eyes. His upper body and arms are sturdy, shoulder has sturdy shoulder pads with handle bars. The omega symbol on the left shoulder. Yellow bands with spike stubs around it and have shape metallic hands. Stubby sturdy legs and fleets.
A female bat lands next to Omega is Rouge, she has white fur, peach muzzle and skin with black stubby nose, blue eye liner, lime green eyes, and her wings are purple. Her outfit is black suit with pink heart shaped chest pieces over her breasts, and her high heels boots and gloves are white with pink fold up sleeves and the steel toes have pink heart shape. "Sorry for crashing the party Big Blue but we can take it from here, Shadow is already ahead dealing with the bots there." She gives a wink to them.
Sonic nods and they continue on till they ran by Shadow, he is a black hedgehog with red stripes on his quills, edge of his eyes, arms, and legs. He has red iris, white chest fur, tan muzzle and black nose. His gloves are white and his shoes are soap rocket shoes with white front and black heels. Sole of his shoes are metallic red and small rockets. Around the gloves, wrist and shoes ankle have golden rings and red protective pad and black sleeves.
"Took you forever Faker." Shadow said in an annoyed tone.
"Come on Shads, we're here now." Sonic replied in a grin. While they were bickering, Tails pulled out his yellow tablet, Miles Electric, to hack in the doorway in front of them to get it unlocked. After a little bit he got it unlocked and they walked in.
Inside the room is nearly empty except the control panels and 7 gems at the center. The group gasps as Shadow narrows his eyes when they see the gems. There are 6 chaos emeralds hooked around the machine with a magenta ruby with black ripple patterns on the center, the Phantom Ruby.
"How does Eggman have Ruby? I thought they were all destroyed!" Tails yelled from seeing it.
"Hohoho! Yes, how did I have it? I kept hidden and safe from all of you." Talking egg turn the chair around facing them. He has an egg-like body shape, bald head, thick long mustache, pinkish nose, pince-nez blue sunglasses, and goggles with green lens on top of his head. His outfit is a red flight jacket with white stripes on the side and golden buckle on top the stripe, zipped up the center and both arms, yellow folded up sleeves, and metallic buttons on the bottom of the jacket. Black bodysuit with boots underneath it that has zipper up on center of foot and shin with a big flat head screw on the ankle. And white gloves.
"As you see, a week after the Starfall Islands I went back to the Phantom Ruby for more research and discovered something I didn't know was possible. Portal to travel to another dimension! Hohoho!" He laughed maniacally, "With this machine that hook up with emeralds and the ruby I can transfer my whole fleet with ease. Sage, activate the chaos emeralds to get Egg-Portal warm up! And Metal bring in the guards for our guests."
~"Yes father"~ a female voice replied and the chaos emeralds started to glow. Horde of E-13 Guardbot comes out, it has a tall sleek but sturdy body with pink guard pads to cover its wheels on the bottom. On the shoulders has thin barrels of turrets.
Blue robot with a similar look of Sonic arrives after them. He has a yellow circular depression with black center on his chest, his muzzle, pointy nose, upper arms and legs, and fingers are silver. Black palm and yellow square plate on back hand. Feet is red with white stripes. Sharp monitor with red camera eyes.
Metal dashes towards Sonic as E-13s try to distract the group from interfering with them and the machine. Eggman laughs as it happens.
Tails fires the minigun at the bots Amy and Knuckles dodges the bullets as they charge through. Shadow teleport to them and use chaos spears at the bots. As this was happening Metal and Sonic speed around the room head butting, swipes, punches, kicks, and blocking each other attacks.
~"60% charged up, but i should warn I don't think it would be a good idea to have them fighting near the Egg-Portal machine father"~ Sage reported as she appeared holographic near Eggman. She looks like a slim small human girl with white hair that covers part of her right eye, and red data like energy on part of her hair, eyes, some part of her hair, and around the body. She wears a black cloak dress and black Mary Jane shoes.
"Bah, not like nothing bad gonna happen and 6 of the 7 emeralds most likely would protect it." Eggman disregards it. "At least we're almost rea-" Loud crash heard by the Egg-Portal. He look and saw Metal crash on it and knocked down the ruby.
Metal head was slightly damaged, monitor was cracked from crashing on the Egg-Portal. He was getting up but then looked at the Phantom Ruby that was laying ground near him, pulsing. He grabbed the ruby looking at it as it pulsed more.
Eggman looked worried, "Metal sweety, can you please put the ruby back on the machine for me." Metal wasn't responding as he kept staring at the ruby.
~"No."~ Metal replied in a cold tone, his voice chip was active thanks to the ruby. He put the ruby on the center of his depression and smashed his fist through the Egg-Portal charging himself up from siphoning the chaos energy.
The crew finished wrecking the rest of the E-13s just to witness what Metal was doing. Eggman was horrified that somehow Metal coding got mess up and returned to his rebelling phase. "Sage, turn off the Egg-Portal now!" Eggman shouts in a panic tone. But it was too late, white glow shines around Metal as he had enough power to transform.
Room was silent as Metal transformed to his Neo form, but it was different. He is slightly taller, his metal quills on his head now 5 total and longer, there long metal quill above the back of depression. There are spikes on the side of muzzle and his nose is longer. His upper arms and lower legs now cone like shape and are sturdier. His feet are thicker and toes point upwards. Hands slightly bigger and long fingers. The belt around waist with metal stubs and it's holding a cape but it's slightly red pixelated. Their shoulders black shoulder pads. All joints have spike pads. All the stripes that usually silver and red camera eyes on neo form now magenta like the ruby. And the Phantom Ruby is lodged in his depression cause him glowing slightly reddish around him.
~"Haha-hahaha-hahahaha!"~ Neo laughs maniacally from his power up. ~"Yall shall call me, Phan-Neo Metal Sonic!"~ He place his hand on Egg-Portal and use machine to open several unstable portals around heroes, Eggman, the fleets, and far away at floating Island, Angel Island, where Master Emerald at.
"Metal I command you to stand down!" Eggman walks forward to stop his son going any further but Phan-Neo glares at him. ~"I don't have to follow your order anymore, father"~ he slapped Eggman through the portal and that portal closed.
Sonic and Shadow dash towards Phan-Neo and attack him with chaos power and speed kick but it is blocked. ~"Bio-data of Sonic The Hedgehog and Shadow The Hedgehog copied."~ He snapped his fingers causing the portal to start sucking in.
Shadow quickly uses chaos control to teleport 6 of the Chaos Emeralds that were on Egg-Portal that caused it to get sucked in. Rouge and Omega arrived but got suckeed in from the portal and Shadow dash after them.
"Guys hold on!" Tails shouted that made the rest of the team grab on to the Cyclone before they fell in the portal. Before that happened Sage quickly transferred her data towards Tails' Miles Electric for her safety.
Phan-Neo laughing as this was happening, the fleet enters the portal and Master Emerald, causing Island to fall.
[Different Earth - Musutafu, Japan, Takoba Municipal Beach Park]
At this beach the area is a landfill of garbage dump. On the beach there are two people, one was a scrawny teen, Izuku Midoriya, messy green hair, green iris, diamond shaped freckles. He was wearing white t-shirt saying 'All Might', light blue athletic pants with white stripes on the side, and red sneakers. Other is a very muscular man with blonde comb hair and two piece hairs going upwards like v shape bunny ears and he has blue iris. He wears a tight black t-shirt, black athletic pants with white stripes on the side, and white sneakers.
The kid was dragging the fridge with a rope while the man was on top of it, but the kid collapsed. "A little movement makes it even nicer though!" The man humor.
"Come on All Might, you're 274 Kilos alone.." Teen complains. "Nah, I've lost some weight. I'm just 255 kilos. In just this form."
"Hey, why am I dragging this garbage across the beach anyway..?" Izuku asks, looking at All Might. "Because, you're an ill-suited vessel." He replied, giving the kid a shocking expression. "What!? But you said I was worthy, earlier?" All Might taking pics of him while saying, "I mean your body ain't ready. My quirk One For All, binding all strength of different people into one. Your noodle body isn't ready for it. Your limbs might blow off."
"Ok so, I'm here training my body, by hauling trash?" Asking him. "But that's not all! I did some research yesterday, this section of this beach has been like this for years." Teen agree about how trash drifts to shore and people toss litter at the place.
While All Might gave a motivational speech about how today's heroes are all about fame and glory but true heroes are about volunteer work no matter how. As he saying it he crush the fridge to show the crystal clear ocean ahead. "This is your first step of your path to be a hero!"
Up in the sky above the ocean a portal opened. Blue monoplane pops out, it was the Cyclone in plane mode. It was damaged by the portal falling towards the beach. "Watch out!" Tails shouts below.
Midoriya looked shocked when he saw the plane. All Might turned around and saw it too, he jumped up and caught the Cyclone before it crashed saving the crew. "Whoa there, that was close. Are you… ok?" Questioning himself why most of them are not wearing a lot of clothing. Tails sighing relief the team was safe and Cyclone wasn't more damaged. Sonic and Knuckles hopped down and Sonic caught Amy as she lept.
"Yeah we're ok, just riled up." Sonic replied as he rubbed his nose. Tails got off the plane and inspected the damage. "Sadly the Cyclone won't be able to fly for a while till I repair it. Only functional left is car mode." Tails sighed sadly giving the man a confusing look. Amy went to comfort Tails.
All Might sighs and decides to ask, "Ok why yall you three not wearing proper clothing?" He looked at Tails, "And why are you flying that plane, you look too young to use it." Tails look him confused, "We don't wear much because it's normal? And I made this plane…" then he realized. "Wait, where exactly are we at and do you know about Sonic?" He points at the blue blur.
Midoriya was amazed when he heard this young fox quirk kid made the functional plane. So he barged in before All Might replied. "You made that!? That likes almost impossible for someone young todo unless, theyhavetwoquirksbesidesfoxonethathasintelligencethatsaid…" He mutters at a rapid pace. All Might coughed to make Izuku catch up that he was muttering. "Sorry about that, it's a habit I have, and also you are in Japan? And never heard about Sonic before nor in the hero bulletin board." Crew gave a shocking look.
Tails pulls out a tablet to get it working, "I guess I was correct, we did get sent to a different dimension." All Might was gonna question what they are talking about but got interrupted again by a child voice from a tablet. "I guess Father's Egg-Portal did work, plus I already checked this world's data to confirm it too. This world is slightly similar to ours but the main difference is that 90% of humans here have super powers and not a lot of animals with those powers." The group was somehow surprised that Sage was with them.
"All Might, I don't think they actually know who you are and think they are telling the truth." He sighs and debuffs to his civilian form. He looks like a skeleton figure, hair looks longer and two hairs have fallen down. His clothes are now baggy. Sonic whistle from seeing that and almost chuckle from the reaction. "I'm guessing I should explain this dimension then. In this world, us people have super powers called Quirk. Currently there are like 80% of people in the global population that possess a Quirk. During the rise of Quirks people use it for malicious and crime but Heroes rises to bring peace and protect the people. Then we made a school for people to train to become heroes." All Might laughs.
Tails was amazed by this as the rest was letting info sink in, then they went pale. "Wait hold up, when you said 80% of people have Quirks, define what type of Quirks…" Tails asked nervously.
Midoriya replied eagerly, "Well there are 3 types of Quirks. There is Emitter Type, it's activation type that can use fire or explosion. Transformation Type, lets people temporarily transform or alter their body, like people can make their body as a water or rock at will. And there is Mutation Quirk, basically physically altering the person's appearance permanently, basically the best example being your guy's appearance." Once he finishes explaining he notices their faces getting paler. "I-Is something wrong…?"
"To tell you guys the truth.." Amy nervously said then retold what happened to them earlier before they got sent here. "About Neo Metal, we fought him twice before. First time he did it he was rebelling against Eggman, a villain from our world. He locked him up, took over the army, and copied out bio data to use out ability and able to transform to them. We were able to beat him because of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Another time was after we won a war against Eggman, he took control of the world after beating Sonic and capturing him for 6 months. After the war we cleaned up for any stragglers of the Empire's robots. But it was being organized, we originally thought Eggman returned but no. It was Neo Metal Sonic, he was being upgraded to that form to use against us but we won before he was sent."
"Later we found out he took over this knucklehead home and took control of a powerful gemstone that he was supposed to guard." Sonic said as Knuckles gave an annoyed look. "Us, new friends we met along the way, Hedgehog from the future, and Princess from a different dimension. w
We went where Neo was at and infiltrated it. Neo used the Gemstone that boosted his power, we did wreck him just barely."
Knuckles sighs, "Now he is more dangerous, he already copied Sonic and our other friend bio data, and now with Phantom Ruby that is inserted in his chest he can bend people's reality at a whim. Like he could summon a sun and make it fall to destroy a whole city." He clenched his fist from the last part.
Izuku and All Might went pale. "Ok this is bad, Young Midoriya, you continue training because we wasted some daylight." Teen nodded and went back to training. "Now can you guys watch him for a bit, have to make an emergency call and get you three some clothes to wear so the police don't arrest you for streaking." Amy nods and Sonic is annoyed about wearing clothes.
"Can you get me something that can make me look like a mechanic?" Tails asked, "Something makes me look tough." Knuckles added on, "Get me that look cool." Sonic sighs. All Might nods and drives with his white pick up truck to a store and he calls someone.
Izuku and the heroes introduced each other fully and talked about the training for, sharing stories about their adventures they had over 5 years, and encouraging him.
Author Note: Thank you all for reading my first fic. I'm sorry if my grammar isn't good because writing anything in literature isn't my strong suit.
I'm already currently writing chapter 2 that is going to explain where Team Dark landed at. For Phan-Neo, I probably won't add the Metal Overlord form for him unless I find a way to make it work. That said, I'm planning to change the main story in a different way. Mainly blaming other fics I've read.
