Acp sighed heavily and moved back to his cabin. Abhijeet stood and moved towards the washroom while hiding his teary eyes from other officers...
In washroom:
He was standing in front of the mirror and finally, he let the emotions come out in the form of tears which he was hiding from everyone with an "I don't care " expression on his face...
After some time he came out sat at his desk and started working again or pretending to work...
In lunchtime:
Abhijeet was sitting in the canteen looking lost, with a coffee in his hand. Freddy glanced at him feeling bad for his Abhijeet sir, after letting out a sigh moved towards him...
"Apki coffee thandi ho chuki h sir," said Freddy offering him another cup of hot coffee..
"Vohh... sorry dhyn hi nhi raha, tumm..tmm.. betho naa," said Abhijeet after taking the cup from his hand...
"Jab koi baat kisi ko dil hi dil mei preshan kre na sir, toh dhyn khi aur hi rehta h," said Freddy while sitting on the chair present in front of him...
"Aisiii koi baat nhi h Freddy, mei bs case ke baare mei soch raha tha" said Abhijeet while hiding his eyes and also bitting the corner of his lip to control his emotions...
" Aap tension mt lijiye sir sab thik ho jayega, me..mera dil keheta h," said Freddy while looking at him with concern in his eyes...
"Ab kuch thik nhi ho skta h Freddy, tum bhi ye umeed lagana chod do," said Abhijeet in a lost tone while looking outside the window...
"Aap aisa q sochte h sir , aap dekhna sab kuch pehele jesa ho jayega" said Freddy while controlling tears in his eyes...
" Sab thik hone ke liye kuch hona bhi toh chahiye naa Freddy" A painful chuckle escaped from his mouth while taking a sip of coffee
After sometime:
In CID Bureau, Acp Pradyuman was sitting in cabin talking with someone on call. On the other side, Abhijeet and Rajat were discussing something. Meanwhile, Freddy, Purvi, and Sachin went out for a case investigation...
At 9 pm evening:
Acp came out from the cabin and looked towards his officers carefully with a small smile on his face who were busy at work...
"Ahm"... Acp cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention.
All looked towards him silently...
" kl subha 9 bje tk Hyderabad se officers ki team yaha pahuch jayegi , so sbhi kl bureau time se pahuch jana," said Acp while glancing towards Abhijeet who is looking away now...
"Ji sir hum sab time se aa jayege" said Rajat to break the silence..
"Thik h, ab sab ghr jao baki kaam kal kr lena," said Acp and turned to go towards his cabin while giving a full of concerned look to Abhijeet, who is now busy wrapping up his work...
Next morning 9 am :
In Cid Bureau:
Everyone was present in the bureau except Senior Inspector Abhijeet...
In the meantime, the bureau gate opens DCP Chitrole enters with some officers following him. Everyone looks toward them with excitement. Acp came outside from the cabin to greet them...
"Inse milo Pradyuman ye h Hyderabad cid team, ye iss case mei hmare sath dege" said Dcp Chitrole in a professional tone.
After pointing toward officers
"Sabse phle.. jisko tum jante hi ho.. Tumhara pyara Sr. Inspector Daya." He smirked looking at the sulking * faces of everyone and sarcastically passed a comment, "Doh baar reject kiye sir.. lekin akhir mai le hi aya isey yaha."
Pradyuman glared hard so he taunted again, "Haan pata h kuch hi din ke liye hai yaha.. phir bhi thank you vagehra bolne ki zarurt nhi h hn Pradyuman." He mocked, "Ab itna toh mai kr hi skta hi tum sbke liye."
Daya couldn't take anymore so he interrupted with a strict professional tone, "Aur yeh mere teammates hai... Inspector Dev, Inspector Shivam, and sub-Inspector Vidhan."
"Haan bhai.. tum hi krlo mera kaam bhi.." Dcp cut him and everyone gritted their teeth in anger, "Yeh intro vintro ka time nhi h ab. Kaam pr lag jao seedhe.." saying this Dcp stormed out from Beauro...
Everyone turned towards the departing figure with disgusting expressions and turned silent and awkward due to the presence of familiar yet unknown persons...
"Kaise h sir aap" asked Freddy taking a few steps in his direction with a concerned face...
"Mei thik hu Freddy, tum kaise ho? air bhabhi ji kaisi h? "asked Daya with a small smile on his face...
"Mei bhi thik hu sir aur Manisha bhi thik h" replied Freddy with a smile...
After pointing towards the team Daya said in a professional tone
"Inse milo ye h sub inspector Freddy , Inspector sachin, sub Inspector purvi ,aur inhe toh aap jante hi honge.. Acp Sahab." said Daya walking towards the elderly figure who is watching this with moisture in his eyes...
"Sir.. kaise h aap? Mene apko bohot miss kiya sir" asked Daya with a painful lump forming in his throat
Acp stared at him with a smile then chuckled painfully " Jab itna hi miss kiya toh wapis kyu nhi aaye tum?" Acp was taunted intentionally knowing well that it was going to hurt the latter and even himself.
Daya frowned and turned his gaze lower with guilt and hurt on his face. He knew that taunt was intentional and not bound to be answered still he tried to sound a little apologetic, "Sir.."
But before he could say further, the Bureau door swung open as Abhijeet entered with a file in his hand. Everyone turned towards him with a shocked as well as worried look. He glanced around not figuring out the reaction from his juniors when suddenly, he stood shocked in his place as a new but familiar face appeared in front of him. He froze with the million emotions that overwhelmed his heart after finding the person, he ached to be around for 3 years, standing right in front of him holding the same personality as always.
Daya looked at him with guilt in his eyes, he remembered some painful words...
flashback starts "Agar hmari dosti itni sasti h ki ek andhi ke jhoke mei iski nev dagmaga jaye ,toh mujhe bhi aisi dosti mei koi dilchasbi nhi h" falshback ends.. Daya let out a sigh while averting his gaze...
Abhijeet glanced around his juniors and towards the person who was like his father figure looking towards him with pain in his eyes. After taking a moment for himself, he looked downward closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and with a professional attitude walked towards Acp's side and stood in front of him while ignoring others, especially that one person...
" Sir.. ek bohot important lead mili h is case see related, ek khabri se pta chala h ki golden crown naam ka ek club h andheri east waha bohot bdi drug deal hone wali h," said Abhijeet, while everyone looks towards him with shock expression.
