One week later, Michael finds out Amanda was cheating on him with her Tennis Coach, Kyle.
Once confronted, Kyle jumps out of the window and runs to his car. Franklin arrives at this moment and, despite Amanda's pleas, helps Michael track down Kyle.
They car chase Kyle, and eventually track him to a really fancy expensive house. Proving himself reckless and irrational, Michael somehow decides the best coarse of action isn't to face Kyle man to man, but instead destory the house itself, a bit of a overreaction if you ask me. Regardless he does indeed succeed at this, as he attaches a pickup truck to a pole and rips it clean in half.
As they drive away, Kyle calls Michael on his cellphone and tells him that the mansion he destroyed wasn't his, but rather the home of a powerful gangster, who's now out for blood.
Sure enough Michael and Franklin are attacked by hitmen almost immediately, which to two defeat in a gunfight, but once they get home, they are confronted by said kingpin himself, Martin Madrazo, a Maxican mob boss.
Martin hits Michael with a baseball bat, and demands that Michael pay for the damages he caused, with repairs costing approximately $2.5 million. Michael tells Franklin there's only way to settle this. And it means he he has to Michael Townley again.
Meanwhile, Carly continued hanging out with Franklin and his friends. Who in case your wondering, the three all about the same age, early 30's. Carly is 20, so still the youngest though.
However, the more time Franklin spends with Carly, the more jealous Sally started to get, which Carly eventually starts to pick up on. And sense he was still gone, doing Michael's thing. Carly took the moment to have private moment with Sally.
"Lucia, we need to talk." Carly said.
"Yes, I, I'm sorry I've been a bit distant towards you. It wasn't personal." Sally said.
"Oh I know it's not.. It's you sweetie. You try to hide it, but your clearly jealous, your worried that Franklin likes me." Carly told her.
"Whaaat, no I not." Sally lied, but poorly.
"Oh come Sal, I have a good read on people. And besides, it's alright. I like the guy, but he's not really my type." Carly told her.
"H He's not?" Sally asked, a bit timidly.
"Yeah. I prefer someone a bit less gangster" Carly told her, chuckling to herself.
Sally chuckled a little as well, feeling a bit better.
"But listen, clearly this means you should tell him sooner than later. I mean this is a sign that he won't wait around forever." Carly told her.
"... Well, he doesn't really notice me anyway." Sally said, a bit sadly.
"Well of coarse not sweetie, I mean no offence, but you smell like pot and look like a boy. Wouldn't kill you to dress up a bit more." Carly teased, which makes Sally look down at her clothes. Much like Seras and Pink, Sally is very tomboy. In fact, Carly is arguably the only one who's truly feminine in that way. Least for now.
"Here, come with me." Carly said, grabbing Sally's hand bringing them inside, and sitting them on the couch.
"Let's start with this, I know it's your thing, but humour me." Carly said, and she threw off Sally's baseball cap, and plays around with Sally's black hair, til it falls down straight. Even left kinda messy, but in a pretty way. Something Carly was no doubt going for. The unkempt beauty look was always something Carly's friend Pinkie was known for. Though you can tell Pink curls it as well, to get a certain style.
"Alright, still a bit left, so hold still." Carly said, as she started using own personal makeup on Sally's face. Carly's always been very generious like that.
Regardless, it honestly didn't take much, as Sally was already pretty put together.
"There you go, it's not much, but it'll be enough." Carly smiled.
"T Thanks." Sally said, kinda timidly.
Soon after, Franklin finally came home, telling the girls he has quite the story to tell.
"I know, dad told me. But we're worry about that later, Sally has something to tell you." Carly said, already playing cupid, but not being too obvious about it. Franklin finally spots Sally, blushing a little as he says "Sal are- are you wearing makeup?"
His surprised reaction clearly suggesting that Sally is very much the "go natural" type of girl. Pinkie and Seras also do this. Personally I would always prefer this in real life, feels like your being more true to yourself.
Sally, after some more encouragement from Carly, finally tells Franklin she's been growing feelings for him for a while now, was either her lack of many friends, or the time he directly saved her life (what exactly happened during said event is never really explained).
Franklin is obviously surprised, but he also wasn't at the same time. Admitting he likes her too, he was just afriad of ruining their friendship. During said speech, Carly quitely sneaks out, knowing it's time to leave them alone. But as she does, she sees Lamar and Stretch coming to the door, Stretch is a recently released from prison old assioate of Frank, Sal and Lamar.
Carly, nervous, calls out to Frank and Sally who run out only to find the scene.
"Sally hey." Stretch said. Sally quitely waved. "Harold." Sally replied, she is the only one who still refers to Stretch by his real name. Something he has mixed feelings on.
"Hey Frank, look who's biz-ack!" Lamar cried excitedly.
"Damn right!" Stretch cried, holding a high five. But Franklin turns away, rejecting him. Stretch rolls his eyes and puts it down. "Hello Howard." Sallly said, being the only one to still use his birth name.
"Who's the new chick?" Stretch asked, spotting Carly.
"I'm Carly." Carly said nervous, Stretch fistbumps her. Carly timidly gives it back, she doesn't trust him clearly.
"So.. You miss me?" Stretch asked Franklin.
"No, I ain't missed you. Your ass could of stayed gone for good." Franklin said, very matter-o-factly. There's clearly a lot of tenison between them. There always was.
"Anyway, can't think wait, Frank and I were kinda in the middle of something." Sally said, still trying to be friendly, even though Franklin was much less inclined to do the same.
"Oh you got jokes now.. Well I see your doing well for yourself." Stretch said, pointing to Denise's house.
"But we need him. We need to go." Lamar said.
"If my little brother was still living, he'd help out." Stretch said.
"Can we just go? Jesus." Lamar groaned.
"Go where?" Sally asked.
Lamar: (looks around, whispers to her) Pick up the Z.
Sally: Why?!
Lamar and Stretch: Business bro!
"Can't this wait, Sally and I were in the middle of something." Franklin groaned. But he is ignored as the two climb into the car and relunantely follows. The girls decide to get in too, wanting to see where this goes.
ON ROAD:
Stretch: When I was away, you two 3 were little homies.. Now I'm out, and you little homies are big homies.. But you still gotta respect." Stretch rambled, when Franklin drives them to the warehouse.
Sally: What are you talking about?
Lamar: We're all big homies, but he bigger.. Right?
Stretch: Excatly.
Franklin: Man not that pyramid shit again.
Carly (shakes head): So why are we headed to La Puerta?
Stretch: Drug deal babe.
Carly (deadpan): Fantastic.
Once they park the car, Stretch opens the trunk to reveal a bunch of combat shotguns, which they all take. Except Stretch himself who simply uses a pistol.
"So what's the plan excatly?" Sally asked, still in her bit more dressed up state. It was even starting to grow on her, it was nice having the light wind blow though her hair.
"The client set it up, he's waiting inside." Lamar told her.
"Yeah, this the type of place we ain't gonna be disturbed." Stretch said.
Sally: That's what worries me, I'm more of a, hide in plain side, type girl.
Stretch: No, you more of a, punk-bitch, type girl.
"You watch your mouth." Franklin growled under his teeth.
The 5 make it up the stairs to the abadoned warehouse to find the buyer indeed waiting.. But it was D, the guy from before. The one they were ust trying to kidnap not even two days ago. The girls notice, but muturally agree to play dumb, hoping he's forgot.
"Ha-ha, got that shipment yo!" Lamar cred, entering the dark warehouse, revealing to client to be D. That guy who Lamar tried to kidnap not a couple days ago.
"Lamar Davis! What up bro?!" D cried, pretending to have forgotten this.
"Woah, woah, what the hell, I thought we were kidnapping that asshole!" Franklin cried, unfortantely ruining the plan, by his impulsive need to yell this out. Stretch tries to pretend he didn't hear that and continues to greet him. But D decides to stop pretending, and reveal this was a setup.
"Heyhey, this ain't about you man. You know these 4 done fuck up!" D cried, dropping the friendly client act.
Stretch: What this fool just sa-
(gunshot is heard from outside, Franklin goes to check).
"Yeah-yeah-yeah, they've put a us on TV, man! About some gang interventon shit!" D cried out.
"Man, this ain't the police dog, it's some Balla bullshit!" Franklin cried, having peaked out the window, just long enough to see purple clothes coming out of cars.
"That's some bullshit!" Lamar cried angrily. Though you do have to question, what excatly he thought was gonna happen.
"We been set up man!" Franklin cried, immediately running over to shield Sally. Already picking up a protective boyfriend role even though they haven't even had a real date yet.
Suddenly Stretch pulls out his pistol, pointing it at D.
"Fuck you!" Stretch screams, and without warning, Stretch shoots the scared and unarmed D right in the face, and despite D having been already dead from the first one, he shoots him again in the chest as he's falling down.
This was ssomething that actually noticably frightens Carly. It wasn't the act itself that scared her, D probably deserved it, but instead it was the lack of hesitation, he immediately resorted to violence.
But she didn't have time to think about it, as she had to follow the others as they ran furthet into the warehouse, and so the battle began. But they came prepared, so least it wasn't too big of a surprise.
"Dammit Lamar! What part of lay low did you not understand?!" Sally cried angrily, reloading her shotgun from behind a flipped table.
"You lay low Lucia, that ain't me!" Lamar cried, firing off a shot and getting one the goons, before also reloading.
"I can see that!" Sally replied.
Stretch fires his Special Carbine, killing 3 in a row as they were coming from the corner. And Stretcgruns ahead, gunning down more members.
"First room clear!" Stretch cried, reloading his Special Carbine.
Franklin and Sally head down the stairs, clearing it. Lamar waits for Carly as she finishes up and he leads her over once she does.
After several gunfights, they eventually reach a burning part of the building and fight their way out.
Once outside, Stretch shoots down a police helicopter with his pistol.
Soon after they find a car and escape.
ON ROAD:
Stretch: The hell you walk me into back there!?
Franklin: Shit! Your the one who popped his ass!
Stretch: I did the necessary.
Carly: Whatever, it's done, let's just get back..
Arriving back at the house, Franklin and Stretch get into another argument, result in him storming off. Lamar runs after him though.
"I'm leaving too." Carly said, revealing herself to have a blue sports bike, a DoubleT as GTA calls it, as her vehicle of choice, and off she goes.
"Huh, never pictured her for a biker." Sally admitted to herself. "Anyway, guess we're alone now."
"Indeed we are." Franklin replied.
"What should we d-" Sally started, only for Franklin to suddenly kiss her on the lips. A bit foward, but sometimes you have to be. Sally is surprised, but after a moment she kisses back, and they hold there for a moment before pulling away.
"W Wow. That was.. Wow." Sally said, blushing.
"Let's go." Franklin said, pulling her inside with him,
The characters do have normal days in-between all the gunfights and shit.. They just aren't as worth telling about cause, well, nothing really happens..
It's why we haven't really seen any scenes of Carly and Pinkie yet. Pinkie Lancer (who we're get to eventually) is one of the few characters who is not a criminal, or does she want to be.. Like a lot of my characters, she went though a lot of character changes. The one I finally settled on "every man" character. The one who's just a ordinary woman caught in the middle of all this.. So great character, one of my favourites actually, but she tends to stay away from the exciting sequences..
Regardless, Carly gets to do normal stuff with her, as Pinkie isn't exactly out looking for trouble..
