Chapter 8: the Miraculous Hero Force

U.A. High School Ground Beta City B- Morning

During the entrance exams, everyone was doing their best, destroying robots left and right, except for one student. He was a boy with light gray hair and brown eyes, wearing a black and blue school uniform. His name was Minato Watanabe, and his quirk was called Technosync, allowing him to synchronize with technology.

Minato saw a 1-pointer and a 2-pointer coming towards him. He rolled out of the way. As the two robots passed him, he quickly stood back up and brought his hand up.

"Stop," Minato said as he activated his quirk, with green light surrounding his hand. However, the robots didn't react and punched him, sending him flying into a wall.

"Stupid, stupid... Why did I even come here? I can never be a hero," Minato said as he took a piece of paper out, showing a picture of his family.

"I'm sorry, Mom, Dad... I guess I'll never mean to be a hero," Minato said, crying.

unknown location - Morning

At this unknown location, Hawk Moth witnessed the entire incident.

"A test for students to enter some hero class, but all quirks are not the same, and people let themselves down, emotions getting in the way. I love it," Hawk Moth remarked as he turned a butterfly into an akuma.

"Fly, my little Akuma, and commiserate with this frustrated child," Hawk Moth commanded as the Akuma flew out of the window.

U.A. High School Ground Beta City B- Morning

As the Akuma soared into the air, it searched for Minato, guided by Hawk Moth's dark influence. Eventually, it found him in his moment of despair, tears staining his cheeks as he clutched the picture of his family.

"Minato Watanabe," the Akuma's voice echoed, swirling around him ominously. "I am here to offer you the power to fulfill your deepest desires. All I ask in return is that you help me in my quest for... justice."

Minato looked up, surprised by the sudden appearance of the Akuma. "Who... who are you?" he asked, wiping away his tears.

"I am your ally," the Akuma replied, its voice dripping with persuasion. "With my power, you can become the hero you've always dreamed of being. No longer will you feel powerless or inadequate."

Minato hesitated, unsure of what to make of this strange offer. But as he gazed into the Akuma's glowing eyes, a newfound determination began to well up within him. "I'll do it," he said, his voice filled with resolve. "I'll become the hero I was meant to be."

With that, the Akuma enveloped Minato in its dark energy, transforming him into a formidable force for Hawk Moth's bidding.

As Minato, now Chaos Circuit, took control of the robots, chaos ensued in the exam area. The other students were taken aback by this sudden turn of events, unsure of how to react. Chaos Circuit's transformation and display of power caught everyone off guard, leaving them stunned and vulnerable.

Meanwhile, Hawk Moth observed the chaos from his hidden location, pleased with the outcome of his akumatization. He anticipated that Chaos Circuit's actions would sow further discord and uncertainty among the students, potentially leading to more opportunities for his villainous plans.

Back at the exam site, the students scrambled to respond to the unexpected situation. Some tried to fight back against the controlled robots, while others sought cover or attempted to regroup. Amidst the confusion, the heroes-in-training realized that they faced a new and formidable challenge—one that would test their abilities and determination like never before.

Meanwhile, Jake was relentlessly destroying every faux villain in his path, coming to the aid of any examiner in danger. With a single powerful punch, he crushed a 3-pointer, swiftly eliminating it. As he scanned the area, he spotted his brother approaching.

Fang utilized his quirk to freeze a 1-pointer in its tracks. Then, with a swift motion, he hurled another robot at a group of three faux villains before unleashing a sonic howl, obliterating all four of them.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Midoriya dashed out of an alleyway, effortlessly dispatching multiple faux villains along the way.

"5 minutes and 2 seconds left!" Present Mic's voice blared over the loudspeakers.

The brothers soon regrouped.

"How many points did you get, Fang?" Jake asked.

"55 points," Fang replied.

"And how about you guys?" Fang inquired.

"How many points did I get, Kwasi?" Jake asked as his kwami emerged from his pocket.

"You got 59 points, Jake," Kwasi responded.

"Thanks, buddy," Jake said, grinning.

Meanwhile, Midoriya leaped from rooftop to rooftop, searching for more robots until he came to a halt and deactivated Full Cowling.

"Okay, Ravage, how many points did I get?" Midoriya asked as his kwami emerged from his pocket.

"You got it. 56 points," Ravage replied with a smile.

"Thank you," Midoriya said just as the ground began to rumble violently.

"W-What's going on?!" Midoriya exclaimed, his confusion evident.

"I don't know," Ravage replied, equally puzzled.

Suddenly, a horde of examiners came rushing towards them as if fleeing from something.

"There's too many of them!" one boy cried out in fear.

"I didn't sign up for this!" another shouted.

"We have to get out of here!" a girl cried as she ran away.

Soon, all the examiners from the battle center started to converge in one place, their panic escalating. The brothers witnessed a multitude of faux villains heading their way, along with the other examiners. Everyone was in a state of frenzy, unsure of how to handle the overwhelming situation.

"That's a lot of robots," Jake remarked, a sweat drop rolling down his face.

"Yeah, there's too many of them," Fang agreed until Kwasi pointed something out.

"Um, guys, look at the robots," Kwasi said.

When the two brothers examined the robots closely, they noticed that all of them bore a butterfly symbol, green with wires protruding from it.

"Someone's been akumatized," Jake muttered under his breath.

"What are we going to do?" Fang asked.

"I'll go and transform. You stay here," Jake said, about to run off until Fang grabbed him.

"You're not going anywhere alone. You can't handle that by yourself. You need help, and I want to help you," Fang insisted.

"No, you can't. It's too dangerous, and you've never dealt with an akumatized villain before," Jake argued.

"Then let me. We're supposed to do this together. Come on, give me a chance, just like Uncle Naja said – we make a good team," Fang pleaded.

Jake sighed. "Fine. Come on, I can't believe I'm doing this so early," he relented, and the two brothers ran into a nearby alleyway and then into a random building.

Meanwhile, Midoriya spotted the robots heading towards the students.

"We need to transform, Ravage," Midoriya said urgently.

"But someone might see you. We have to keep our identity a secret," Ravage cautioned.

"But sometimes rules have to be broken," Midoriya argued.

"Now it's time to transform. Ravage, claws out!" Midoriya commanded, his ring glowing as he transformed into Shadow Claw.

As Shadow Claw, Midoriya leaped into action, swiftly engaging the oncoming robots with precise strikes. His movements were fluid and calculated, utilizing his enhanced agility and strength to fend off the mechanical foes.

U.A. High School Ground Beta City, Random Building B - Morning

Jake and Fang made it inside one of the random buildings used for the entrance exams.

"Alright, I've got to transform," Jake said, but Fang stopped him.

"What's wrong?" Jake asked.

"Look, there's a camera. If they see you, you'll have to keep your identity a secret or you'll lose your Miraculous," Fang said.

"If I lose my Miraculous, then I'll be fine. The Miraculous doesn't make me a hero; I make myself a hero. Besides, they can't see the kwamis anyway," Jake said as he looked at Kwasi. "Kwasi, spots on!" he said, and his wristband glowed, transforming him into Beetle.

"Alright, listen. Since I'm the guardian of the Miraculous , I hooked my yo-yo to the miracle box so I can easily access any other Miraculous I need," Beetle explained.

"So you still use another Miraculous then?" Fang asked.

"No, you're going to use one," Beetle said as he opened his yo-yo and pulled out a black box with Chinese markings on it.

"Wait, me? Using a Miraculous? Are you sure? Do you even trust me?" Fang asked.

"Yeah, Fang. Before I even got the Miraculous, you and Dad believed in me. Even without a quirk like you or anybody else, you still thought I could make a difference in the world. So, Ookami Fang, this is the Miraculous of the Lion. It gives you the power of the Sonic Roar. You must use it for the greater good. Once the mission is done, you have to give it back to me. Can I trust you?" Beetle asked.

Fang hesitated for a moment, then nodded firmly. "You can trust me, Jake. I mean, Beetle."

"Good," Beetle said, handing him the Miraculous of the Lion. "Kwasi, give him the rundown."

Kwasi flew out and explained, "Fang, this is Leo, the kwami of the Lion Miraculous. He'll give you the power of Sonic Roar. To transform, just say, 'Leo, roar on!'"

Fang took a deep breath, holding the Miraculous tightly. "Alright. Leo, roar on!"

The black box glowed as Leo emerged and Fang transformed into a hero clad in a powerful black and green suit, with a lion's mane design around the collar.

"Whoa, this feels incredible," Fang said, looking at his new suit.

"Remember, Fang, we need to take control of those robots and stop whoever's behind this," Beetle reminded him.

"Got it. Let's do this," Fang replied.

Meanwhile, outside, Shadow Claw was already battling the swarm of robots, tearing through them with powerful strikes.

"Shadow Claw, we need to find the source of this chaos," Beetle called out as he and Fang joined the fray.

Shadow Claw nodded. "I'm on it. But these robots... they're being controlled by someone."

"That someone must be nearby," Fang said, his enhanced senses picking up the faint signal controlling the robots. "This way!"

The three heroes charged towards the source of the signal, fighting through the hordes of faux villains. As they approached a central building, they saw Chaos Circuit standing on a rooftop, controlling the robots with his technosync power.

"There he is!" Beetle shouted. "We need to stop him!"

"Leave it to me," Fang said, activating his Sonic Roar. He took a deep breath and let out a powerful roar that shook the ground, disrupting the signal and causing several robots to malfunction and collapse.

Chaos Circuit turned, his eyes narrowing. "You think you can stop me? I'll show you what real power looks like!"

Beetle swung his yo-yo, aiming to disarm Chaos Circuit. "Shadow Claw, cover me!"

Shadow Claw leaped into action, using his enhanced agility to dodge the robots and get closer to Chaos Circuit. Beetle's yo-yo wrapped around Chaos Circuit's arm, pulling him off balance.

"Now, Fang!" Beetle shouted.

Fang unleashed another Sonic Roar, this time directly at Chaos Circuit. The powerful sound wave disoriented him, causing him to lose control over the robots completely.

Chaos Circuit fell to his knees, struggling to maintain his composure. "No... this can't be happening..."

Beetle and Shadow Claw closed in, ready to end the battle.

"Give up, Chaos Circuit. It's over," Shadow Claw said firmly.

Chaos Circuit looked up, his expression a mix of anger and despair. "I just wanted to be a hero..."

"You can still be one," Beetle said, extending a hand. "But not like this. Let us help you."

Tears welled up in Chaos Circuit's eyes as he reached out to take Beetle's hand, the green circuits fading from his suit as the Akuma tried to fly away .

"No more evil doing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Beetle threw his yo-yo, catching the Akuma and turning it into a butterfly. "Gotcha. Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Beetle!" Beetle tossed his yo-yo into the air, restoring all the robots to normal and returning Chaos Circuit back to Minato.

Minato collapsed to his knees, tears streaming down his face. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to hurt anyone..."

Beetle knelt beside him, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "It's okay. You were just overwhelmed. Everyone has moments of doubt, but you showed real courage by taking control and stopping."

Fang approached, still in his Lion Hero form. "You're not alone in this. We all face challenges, but what matters is how we overcome them."

Minato looked up, wiping his tears. "Thank you... both of you. I didn't think anyone would understand."

Beetle smiled. "We all have our struggles. Just remember, being a hero isn't about having a quirk or not. It's about doing the right thing, even when it's hard."

Just then, Midoriya, still in his Shadow Claw form, landed nearby. "Is everything okay here?" he asked, glancing at Minato with concern.

"Yeah, we took care of it," Beetle said, standing up. "Minato here just needed a little help."

Minato nodded, starting to feel a bit more confident. "I want to try again. I want to prove that I can be a hero."

Fang smiled. "That's the spirit. Let's get back out there and finish this exam strong."

As the group turned to head back into the fray, Midoriya put a hand on Minato's shoulder. "Remember, we're all in this together. Let's show them what we can do."

With newfound determination, Minato stood up and joined his new friends, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

U.A. High School Observation Room - Morning

In the observation room, the teachers were discussing what they had just witnessed. They saw Beetle's transformation and his actions, they noticed Midoriya's transformation into Shadow Claw, and they observed Fang receiving a Miraculous from Beetle. All Might, who knew about the Miraculous, had promised Midoriya he would keep it a secret.

"Did you see that?" Present Mic exclaimed. "Those kids transformed right in front of us! That Beetle guy—who is he?"

Aizawa nodded, eyes narrowed. "Jake Ookami. And Midoriya, too. I didn't expect to see transformations like that. And what's this about a Miraculous?"

"Fang received one from Beetle," Midnight said, clearly intrigued. "These Miraculous items seem powerful. But what exactly are they?"

All Might shifted uncomfortably, aware of the gazes fixed on him. "I, uh, know a bit about the Miraculous. They are mystical items that grant special powers to those who possess them. It's important to keep this knowledge discreet."

Nezu looked thoughtful. "It seems these boys are using their powers responsibly. Jake, or Beetle, seems to be the one distributing these Miraculous. He's also helping his brother Fang learn to use his new abilities."

Ectoplasm leaned forward. "And Midoriya—he transformed into Shadow Claw. It's impressive to see how they've adapted to these powers so quickly."

"Still, this is highly unusual," Power Loader added. "We need to understand more about these Miraculous and how they work."

"Agreed," Cementos said. "But for now, it looks like they're handling the situation well. We should monitor them closely."

All Might nodded. "I'll make sure Midoriya knows he has our support. These Miraculous could be a great asset, but we must ensure they're used wisely."

"Absolutely," Aizawa said, glancing at the monitors showing the students returning to the battle. "Let's see how they finish the exam. This could be a turning point for all of them."

With that, the teachers continued to watch, their curiosity and concern evident as they observed the unfolding events.

Nezu looked at the other teachers and nodded. "I think it's about time we release the Zero-pointers," he said. "Snipe, please press the button."

"Yes, sir," Snipe responded, opening a case that contained a button. He pressed it, setting the next phase of the exam in motion. "Well, there's still plenty of time before it's over. The real test has yet to come. Let's see how they react."

Present Mic leaned forward, eyes glued to the monitor. "This should be interesting. Those Zero-pointers are no joke."

Midnight smirked. "Let's see if our students can handle the pressure. Especially those three—Beetle, Shadow Claw, and Fang."

Aizawa remained impassive but watchful. "They've shown resourcefulness so far. This will push their limits."

All Might, still contemplating the implications of the Miraculous, said, "They've demonstrated impressive teamwork and adaptability. This will test their true hero potential."

Ectoplasm nodded in agreement. "Yes, especially considering the power and coordination required to take down a Zero-pointer. This will be a good measure of their abilities."

Nezu sipped his tea thoughtfully. "Indeed. It will also show us how they respond to unexpected challenges and the importance of working together."

Cementos added, "Let's keep a close eye on their tactics. It will be valuable for understanding their growth and potential."

As the teachers continued their discussion, the monitors displayed the massive Zero-pointers being released into the mock city. The ground trembled as the enormous robots began their march, and the students below started to notice.

"Here we go," Nezu said with a hint of excitement. "Let's see what our future heroes are truly made of."

In the mock city below, Jake, Fang, and Midoriya, now transformed into their heroic personas, prepared to face the colossal challenge ahead.

U.A. High School Ground Beta City B - Morning**

The heroes regrouped, running through the city until the ground began to shake.

"What's going on?!" Fang yelled out.

"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling about this," Beetle said.

Minato was the first to see it and pointed. "Look."

The others looked in the direction he was pointing and saw a gigantic robot appear in the middle of the battle center.

The students immediately ran past them as the heroes stared at the Zero-pointer in awe.

"G-Guys, I think that might be the Zero-pointer!" Shadow Claw nervously said, seeing the number on its body.

"Really, Shadow Claw?! What gave it away?!" Fang angrily fired back.

"Beetle, what do we do?" Minato asked.

"There's no reason for us to fight it, so let's fall back," Beetle said, nodding in agreement.

As they were about to go, Shadow Claw heard a voice from the giant robot's direction.

"Help! Somebody help me!" the voice cried out. Shadow Claw stopped and saw Uraraka trapped under a broken robot, screaming for help.

"It's that girl!" Shadow Claw's eyes widened. He turned to his team. "Guys, wait!" His teammates stopped and turned towards him. "Someone needs our help!" He pointed at Uraraka.

The others' eyes widened as the Zero-pointer slowly approached her.

"Oh, shit! We have to help her!" Beetle shouted.

"Okay, Shadow Claw, you're with me," Beetle said. "And, um, Fang, what should I call you? Your hero's name, that is."

Fang thought for a moment, looking down at the Lion Miraculous. "Call me iron Roar."

"Alright, Roar, we've got to move fast," Beetle said. "Shadow Claw, head to the right and create a distraction. Iro Roar, you and I will go for Uraraka."

"Got it," Shadow Claw nodded, activating Full Cowling. "Let's do this."

Shadow Claw sprinted to the right, drawing the Zero-pointer's attention. "Hey, over here, you oversized tin can!" he shouted, jumping from one place to another to keep the robot focused on him.

"Alright, iron Roar, let's go," Beetle said as they dashed towards Uraraka. Roar used his enhanced strength to clear the debris trapping her, while Beetle prepared his yoyo to defend against any potential attacks.

"Hang on, we're getting you out of here," iron Roar reassured her, lifting the heavy debris effortlessly.

"Thank you," Uraraka said, her voice trembling.

"Stay close to us," Beetle said, his eyes scanning for any threats. "We need to move quickly."

As they were about to make their escape, the Zero-pointer redirected its attention towards them, its massive arm swinging down.

"Look out!" Shadow Claw shouted, racing back towards them.

Beetle threw his yoyo, wrapping it around the robot's arm and pulling with all his might to slow it down. Iron Roar used his Sonic Roar to push the arm back, buying them precious seconds.

"Let's go!" Beetle urged, and they all ran together, escaping the immediate danger.

Once they were at a safe distance, Beetle turned to the group. "Great teamwork, everyone. Now let's focus on getting through the rest of this exam."

Shadow Claw nodded, breathing heavily but smiling. "We can do this."

Iron Roar grinned. "No Zero-pointer is going to stop us."

Uraraka looked at them with admiration. "Thank you so much. You guys are amazing."

"Just doing what heroes do," Beetle said with a smile. "Now, let's finish this exam strong."

"Umm, guys, the Zero-pointer isn't backing down," Minato said, his voice tinged with panic.

"Okay, Minato, use your quirk," Beetle said reassuringly.

"My quirk is useless against that thing! It's too big, I can't control anything that size," Minato protested.

"Yes, you can, with a little help," Beetle replied with a smile. He opened his yoyo and pulled out a small black box.

"Minato Watanabe, this is the Miraculous of the Eagle. It gives the user the power of freedom and the ability to transform into an eagle-themed superhero. To activate the pendant, you must say the transformation phrase 'Wings of Liberty.' Once the job is done, you must give it back to me. Can I trust you?" Beetle asked, handing him the box.

Minato looked at the box, then back at Beetle. Taking a deep breath, he nodded. "Yes, you can trust me."

"Good. Now let's take this thing down," Beetle said with determination.

Minato took the black box from Beetle, his hands trembling slightly. "Wings of Liberty," he said, his voice steadying as he spoke the transformation phrase.

In an instant, a bright light enveloped him, and when it faded, Minato stood in a sleek, eagle-themed suit. His new hero form had white and gold accents, with wings folded on his back and a helmet shaped like an eagle's head.

"Whoa," Minato said, looking down at himself. "This is incredible."

"Focus, Eagle!" Beetle called out. "We've got a job to do!"

Eagle nodded, feeling a surge of confidence. "Right. Let's take down that Zero-pointer."

Beetle turned to the others. "Shadow Claw, Iron Roar, let's move!"

As the team charged towards the giant robot, Eagle spread his wings and took to the sky. With newfound agility, he swooped down, targeting the Zero-pointer's joints.

Shadow Claw and Iron Roar moved in sync, Shadow Claw using his enhanced agility and strength to leap and strike at the robot's weak points, while Iron Roar unleashed powerful sonic roars to destabilize it.

Beetle, coordinating their efforts, shouted instructions. "Eagle, aim for the control panel on its head! Shadow Claw, keep it distracted! Iron Roar, use your sonic roar to keep it off balance!"

Eagle soared higher, his keen eyes spotting the control panel. "I see it!" he called out, diving towards the robot. With a swift, precise strike, he hit the panel, causing the robot to shudder and slow down.

"Great job, Eagle!" Beetle cheered. "Now, let's finish this!"

Together, the heroes unleashed a final coordinated attack. Eagle struck the control panel again, Shadow Claw delivered a powerful punch to its core, and Iron Roar let out a deafening sonic roar that reverberated through the battlefield.

The Zero-pointer wobbled, sparks flying from its joints, and then collapsed with a thunderous crash. The students around them erupted in cheers, relieved and grateful.

Beetle turned to Eagle, Iron Roar, and Shadow Claw. "We did it. Great work, team."

Eagle landed gracefully, his wings folding behind him. "Thank you, Beetle. I couldn't have done it without you."

Beetle smiled, handing Eagle a small pendant. "You did great, Minato. Now, let's get this Miraculous back to safety."

Eagle nodded, reverting back to Minato as he handed the pendant back to Beetle. "Thanks, everyone," he said, feeling a newfound sense of belonging and purpose.

Present Mic tapping a button on his watch. "And that's it...!" He raised his hand, jumping as he broadcasted his voice. "Times uuuuup! And with that ladies and gentlemen, the U.A. entrance exam comes to a close!"

U.A. High School Observation Room - Morning

Recovery Girl exclaimed, "Did you see that? The Miraculous team really pulled it off!"

Midnight nodded in agreement. "Indeed, they showed remarkable coordination and bravery."

"I never doubted them for a second," Cementoss remarked proudly. "But taking down the Zero-pointer? That's beyond impressive."

Aizawa nodded in approval. "They showed real hero potential out there."

"But let's not forget about the others," Thirteen added. "The teamwork displayed by all the students was remarkable."

Snipe chimed in, "They really stepped up when it counted."

"I'm just glad everyone made it through safely," Power Loader said, relief evident in his voice.

Nezu observed with a smile, "It's moments like these that remind us why we're here—to nurture and guide the next generation of heroes."

Toshinori nodded in agreement. "Indeed. They have proven themselves today."

As they continued to watch the monitors, they felt a sense of pride and satisfaction knowing that they had played a part in shaping the future of hero society.

The teachers discussed the placement of the Miraculous team.

"I propose they join Class 1-A," Midnight suggested. "Their performance matches the caliber of our top students."

Cementoss nodded. "Agreed. They've demonstrated exemplary teamwork and skill."

"But what about their team name?" asked Snipe. "It should reflect their extraordinary abilities."

Aizawa considered. "How about 'The Miraculous Hero Force'? It emphasizes their unique talents and their role as heroes."

Thirteen nodded in approval. "Yes, 'The Miraculous Hero Force' sounds fitting for such a remarkable team."

Nezu smiled. "The Miraculous Hero Force it is then. Let's inform them of their class placement and team name after the exams."

With their decision made, the teachers continued their observation, confident in the future of The Miraculous Hero Force.
