Kin Slayers

***POTD***

"Come on Cana, we're almost there," Erza called out, as the two Mages pushed through another wave of hostile Dark Mages. "Damn it, just how many of them are there!?"

"Never mind them, what the heck is going on up ahead!?"

Shifting her attention forward, Erza was shocked as the entire forest rose up before them, before flipping down on a central point up ahead. Dozens of child explosions rocked the area, as the two Mages adjusted their footing.

"That Magic… I recognize it!"

"That's great, care to share with the rest of us!?"

"I remember a man who I fought back during the Eisenwald Incident who wielded Magic just like this… Azuma of the Seven Kin of Purgatory!"

"Another one!? Shit, this isn't good at all," Cana cursed, as they started sprinting toward the area being bombarded. "Who the Hell is this Azuma guy fighting anyway!?"

"Its hard to tell," Erza replied in a much quieter tone, something not feeling quite right in the pit of her stomach. "But I think it might be-."

Erza and Cana skidded to a stop. Cana's left hand immediately went to her mouth, eyes widening as her pupils dilated, the sight before her something she desperately hoped wasn't real.

Erza meanwhile, Erza was absolutely furious.

Azuma stood with his back toward them, his right arm extended outward, as numerous vines coiled around an all too familiar form.

"WENDY," Erza screeched, snapping Cana out of her shocked stupor as she began to realize the true severity of what was happening.

"Erza Scarlett," Azuma huffed, slightly turning to face them, fully revealing Wendy's form to the pair. "Finally, a real opponent."

Wendy was barely conscious, large chunks of skin having been stripped from her arms and stomach region. Her face had a light gash that stretched from the left side of her bottom lip, straight up just shy of her left eye.

Several of her fingers were clearly broken, and she had severe bruising around her torso region, ugly purple bruises already beginning to form, almost hidden by the copious amount of blood she'd lost.

"Azuma… YOU MONSTER!"

"The girl was weak," Azuma sniffed in an uncaring manner, as his vines tossed Wendy's maimed body in their direction, which was immediately caught by Erza. "She should have thought twice before standing before me."

"She was just a child," Erza hissed, as Wendy's eyes seemed to struggle to even process that she was there. "Wendy… Wendy it's me…"

"Ngh-! Ah-! Cugh-!"

"Erza, she needs medical attention, like, right now," Cana whispered, her hands shaking profusely even as she nudged the S Class Mage. "Give her to me…"

"What…?"

"Give Wendy to me Erza," Cana repeated quietly. "I know I can't fight someone like that piece of shit, but YOU can!"

Erza knew that Cana was right in this particular situation. She was the best choice to face Azuma, but something within her didn't want to let the young girl in her arms go. She wasn't sure what it was exactly, but it twisted her inside just knowing that Wendy had been so badly hurt.

"Erza!"

"Take her…"

Cana blinked, but nodded instantly, as she carefully cradled the bloodied young Dragon Slayer in her arms. Stepping back from the Requip Mage, she was about to flee from the area, but she couldn't leave without saying one last thing to the S Class Mage.

"Don't you DARE let him walk away after what he's done Erza," Cana hissed, glaring in Azuma's direction. "Break that bastard a thousandfold for what he's done to Wendy!"

"Don't worry about that Cana," Erza muttered in reply, slowly rising to her feet as her body became enveloped in a bright white light. "He's going to die for what he's done…"

Stepping out of the light, Erza was now clad in one of her newer sets of Armor, one Cana hadn't yet seen. Azuma seemed almost amused, at least, until Erza started releasing her Magical Power.

"Requip – Armadura Fairy Armor!"

"So, Titania is finally going to go all out against me," Azuma hummed in response, as he felt Erza's power skyrocket. "Yes, this will certainly do…"

Erza Scarlett (AFA, Enraged) – 255,812 MPI

Erza's swords hummed with Magical Power as Cana bolted, knowing full well the place would be torn apart in a few minutes time. Once she was gone, Azuma also began releasing his own power, as the various trees around him all began rapidly expanding and twisting around his position.

"Let us settle our battle from Oshibana, Titania, and decide who is the strongest between the two of us!"

Azuma (Great Tree Arc Infusion, Blood lusted) – 322,997 MPI

Azuma roared as he arched his right arm forward, dozens of vines surging toward Erza's position. The Requip Mage responded in kind, charging forward as two spheres of lightning formed at the end of her blades that merged together.

Bringing both blades out to her right, Erza swung hard, firing off a massive blast of green lightning in the direction of Azuma, engulfing a twenty-meter-wide radius, as the blast smashed through half of Tenrou Island, carving a sizeable scar into the landscape.

Azuma could only grin as the blast surged toward him, eager for the battle to come, as the two powerful Mages engaged in a fight to the death.

***POTD***

Elise and Zancrow had been battling it out for what felt like a good hour. Both God Slayers showed no sign of fatigue due to their God Slaying abilities, and both had plenty of Magic left.

"Kehahahahaha! Fucking burn bitch," Zancrow roared as the entire area around her was set ablaze. "Come on, let's fucking-OOF!"

Elise emerged through Zancrow's flames, slugging him across the face as he momentarily stumbled backward. Shaking his head, he blocked a follow up punch, before spinning around and attempting to kick Elise, only for her to block the kick with her forearm, and pushed him away.

Zancrow skidded backward, as the pair slowly began to circle one another amidst the raging inferno, panting slightly.

'I hate to admit it, but he's gotten much stronger since we last fought…'

"Come on, is that the best you've got!? And you call yourself a War God Slayer, that was pathetic," Zancrow taunted as they both vanished and clashed, their legs smashing into one another as the flames around them were immediately extinguished.

Vanishing again, they appeared ten meters in the air, trading a flurry of punches and kicks, before Elise got the upper hand.

First, she slugged him across the face, following up with an uppercut, then another punch to the face, then another, then she spun around and kicked him in the face before kneeing him in the gut.

Zancrow lurched forward, blood spewing forth from his mouth as Elise shot to the ground, smashing his face into the ground so hard, it shook the entire area. She then ripped him back out of the ground and threw him into a nearby rock wall, where he promptly smashed right through it and rolled to a stop on the other side.

"Talk shit to me … bitch," Elise panted, as Zancrow slowly stumbled to his feet, his face regenerating using his God Slayer Regenerative Ability.

"Ke…haha…ahahahaha!"

"Of course," Elise sighed, as Zancrow's arms ignited with black flame. "Here we go again…"

"Finally… I was waiting for you to actually fight me properly, damn bitch."

"Do you know any other insults!?"

"Oh yeah, I know plenty," Zancrow shot back with a smirk. "Fire God's Explosive Flame!"

Clapping his hands together, Zancrow made a forward thrust movement with his arms, as the entire hill between them was blown away, a massive wall of black fire incinerating everything in its path.

"Kehahahahaha! Let's see you dodge THAT!"

Elise took off in the opposite direction, as the attack continued to expand in size, devouring everything in its path. She could feel what would happen once it got to her, and she wasn't keen on becoming paste smeared across Tenrou's shoreline.

Reaching a nearby hill, Elise ran as fast as she could, immediately performing a back flip as soon as she reached the top of the hill, narrowly sailing over the top of Zancrow's attack. She landed quickly, and watched as it continued to carve a path through Tenrou, before reaching the beach, where it promptly exploded.

The explosion itself was blinding, as all the debris it had absorbed was shot right back out again. Specifically, it was all fired in Elise's direction.

Narrowly avoiding the first dozen objects, she was forced to block one with her right arm, and that was when she realized her fatal mistake.

She refused to scream before someone like Zancrow, even as the flames that had been attached to the rock she'd blocked transferred to her left arm. Elise could feel every moment as the flames ate away at her flesh, only for her God Slayer Regenerative Ability to restore it again, in what was a seemingly endless cycle.

"Shit," the War God Slayer hissed, cringing heavily as she tried to block out the pain as best as she could. "That bastard…"

"If you like that, I've got plenty more to go around," Zancrow jeered, as he released a breath attack, which Elise promptly dodged.

'If I get hit by any more of that fire, I'm not gonna win this… I need to take him out before he manages to hit me again,' Elise thought to herself as the Fire God Slayer started doing some sort of mock dance before her. 'Fucking prick…'

"You know, you Fairies aren't doing too bad holding off this whole invasion you know? From what I heard a few of the Seven Kin already got their asses handed to them, and now there's talk of our forces regrouping to attack that little camp you've got! Man, I really wish I could be there to slaughter all the injured Fairies there…"

"You're despicable," Elise hissed in response. "I'm not gonna let you anywhere near my friends Zancrow! You're just a Second-Generation God Slayer, you're nothing!"

"Says the bitch who's literally being burned alive," Zancrow scoffed in response. "You know, you said some shit like that the last time we met, didn't you? Well guess what… I'm gonna fucking show you who the REAL God Slayer is around here!"

"More idle talk?"

"Oh no," Zancrow smirked, as he clenched his fists, crouching down slightly as black fire exploded around his form. "This time… IT'S THE REAL FUCKING DEAL!"

Elise was shocked as she felt Zancrow's Magical Power completely blow past anything she could have even predicted from the Fire God Slayer. His entire body became engulfed in black fire, and it was then that she realized what he was doing.

"No way…!?"

"KEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!"

Zancrow's voice echoed all across Tenrou Island, his power shaking the entirety of it, the black flames around him now visible to everyone. The temperature began to skyrocket, as every tree, save for the largest one on the island, caught fire.

And then, just like that, the fire vanished.

Elise could only gape as Zancrow reappeared. His long, wild, shaggy blonde hair was now completely upright and ablaze with black fire. Likewise, black fire now encircled his wrists and ankles, with even his eyebrows ablaze.

Opening his eyes, Elise was relieved to see that, despite this form, he at least wasn't wielding God's Aura, though that meant little, given how dire the situation had just become.

"You ready to learn what it means to fight a real God of Fire, little bitch," Zancrow asked, his voice almost maniacal in nature as sparks of flame shot out of his body at random. "I'm gonna fuck you up!"

Zancrow (Fire God's Champion, Adapting) – 1.06 Million MPI

'Well… this is very bad,' was all Elise could think as she faced down this now absurdly beefed up Zancrow. 'Okay, let's not freak out Elise. He's absurdly strong, but he's an idiot. He also clearly can't control his power very well…'

Her eyes traced over the flames that spurted off of his form, noting that he was unable to retain control over them for long. Likewise, the fire that had been tearing her arm apart was extinguished, which meant he wasn't even able to keep that going either.

'I think I can still do this,' Elise hummed internally as she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. 'But… I'll need a little bit extra!'

Opening her eyes again, Elise activated her God's Aura, something that Zancrow seemed to actually pick up on, though it was obvious he couldn't fully comprehend what it was.

Though her God's Aura was still in a fledgling state compared to that of a full God, it would undoubtedly serve her well here, as it still granted her Godlike enhancements. Clenching her fists, Elise powered up, eliciting an amused smirk from Zancrow.

Elise Faulkner (God's Aura, Full Power) – 375,994 MPI

"So, this is how you plan on dying Faulkner, with a pathetic and feeble resistance," Zancrow taunted mockingly. "I'll be glad to rip you apart and use your limbs to kill your friends! Kehahahahahahahaha!"

"Even if you do manage to defeat me, you still have Fairy Tail's strongest Mages to deal with Zancrow," Elise countered firmly. "Mirajane, Natsu, Ur and Gildarts have yet to actually battle anyone as far as I can tell! Any of them could easily kill you!"

"With this kind of power, none of them can stop me!"

"If you think that, then you're truly a fool, and a poor patron for any God to have," Elise replied sharply, as she took advantage of his momentary lapse as she vanished, reappearing in front of him with her fist fully cocked back. "God's Aura: War God's Armageddon Fist!"

Zancrow was blasted off into the nearby cliff, as Elise prepared herself for what was undoubtedly going to be one of the most brutal battles she'd ever fought. And, sure enough, Zancrow was on his feet in moments, as a plume of fire erupted from the top of his head.

"Fire God's Fury Flame!"

Elise was immediately on the move as the fire shot toward her position. It quickly became apparent that the plume was still connected to Zancrow's flame-like hair, and that he was actually controlling the direction it moved using head movements.

The attack itself was extremely powerful, instantly searing through everything in its path, no matter what it was. Despite this, it was extremely slow, compensated by the fact that it was so large.

'Exactly like I thought,' Elise thought to herself, as she continued to dart about the now razed landscape. 'But what can I do aside from dodge and defend!?'

Her mind ran a million miles a second, trying to calculate the best possible chance to make a move. Being hit by Zancrow's Fury Flame would probably nearly kill her, so any move had to be timed precisely.

'If only the thing wasn't so damn big,' Elise growled internally, only for her eyes to widen ever so slightly, as her God's Eyes picked up on something that she had previously been blind to. 'Of course…'

Several minutes later, Zancrow was still laughing away as he spun his attack around the area. It took him another minute and a half before he even realized Elise wasn't even there anymore, which both confused and alarmed him.

"What!? Where the fuck did you go Faulkner," the God Slayer hissed. "I know I didn't hit you; I'd have felt it!"

"Das wrigh-! U wou ave!"

Spinning around on the spot, Zancrow looked directly below his current position to find Elise crouched at the bottom of the cliff, grabbing at the air, and stuffing a blackish substance she was drawing from it into her mouth.

"What the fuck-!? Are you eating MY flames!?"

"Eww, no way," Elise spat in response, shoving the last of the blackish substance into her mouth. "Ah… Man, that hit the spot!"

"Wait…?"

"I had all that time to think while you lumbered about trying to whack me Zancrow, and I realized something!"

"And what's that!?"

"Fairy Tail is fighting for their lives right now against Grimoire Heart, aren't they?"

"Yeah, of course they are! What of it!?"

"You guys invaded Tenrou Island, didn't you?"

"The fuck is this Faulkner, have you lost your mind," Zancrow spat in response. "Of course we did!"

"Which means that you guys started a WAR with us, and a massive one at that, considering just how many powerful Mages are all taking part in the war between our Guilds!"

Zancrow, despite his rage fueled state, was able to put the pieces together, his eyes widening considerably as he actually took a step backward.

"No way…"

"You miscalculated big time," the War God Slayer smirked, as God's Aura exploded from her form. "Your whole Guild just fed me plenty of war just now, and boy has it hit the spot!"

Elise's form became obscured by a pillar of Galaxy Blue light, as she began to power up even further. Zancrow, for his part, was just plain pissed off, as he leapt down from the cliff he had been standing on, returning to ground level with her.

Once the pillar of light died down, Elise emerged. Her once pitch-black hair was now mixed with pure white, her ears now being slightly pointier, and the Galaxy Blue color in her eyes was much more solidified than its previously infantile state.

"I've done it… and all it took was a war," Elise cackled, the shaking across the area dying down as she looked over at Zancrow, an amused smirk on her face. "Ooh, my voice is a bit deeper too? Mmhm… Elise dear~ Heh, wow, almost sounds just like Mother's voice! This is like ... God puberty!"

"You fucking bitch," Zancrow snarled, drawing her attention back onto the furious Fire God Slayer. "You stole my damn fucking thunder! What the fucking fuckity fuck!?"

"Do you ever stop swearing," Elise sighed, before giggling again, as she kept comparing her voice to Eliza. "Oh, I'm going to have some fun with this later…"

"No… There won't be any FUN for ANYONE later," Zancrow snapped, gritting his teeth. "Because I'M going to KILL you!"

"You can try Zancrow," Elise smirked, as she clenched her fists, entering a defensive stance. "But its like I said earlier, you're just a Second-Generation God Slayer, you're nothing compared to the real deal…"

"Nothing… I'll show you NOTHING," Zancrow screeched as his power flared right up, prompting Elise to brace for his impending attack. "DIE!"

Zancrow (Fire God's Champion, Enraged) – 1.10 Million MPI

Elise Faulkner (War God's Champion, God's Aura) – 1.12 Million MPI

Both Zancrow and Elise vanished, reappearing high in the sky, clashing several times and generating powerful shock-waves that hit the charred earth below. A Galaxy Blue blur knocked away a blackish blur, as both flared up briefly, before charging toward one another for another clash.

"God's Aura: War God's Armageddon Fist!"

"Fire God's Inferno Fist!"

The two God Slayers clashed, the ground beneath them cratering as they pushed against one another briefly. Unfortunately for Zancrow, Elise had God's Aura backing her attack, and so, her attack ultimately managed to win out.

The Fire God Slayer was blown back, only for Elise to blitz in front of him, kicking him in the chest and sending him flying into the earth at high speed. Zancrow made impact, the land flipping on top of him almost immediately, only for it to be melted down as the furious God Slayer shot out of the crater mere moments later.

"Fire God's Shinsei Scythes!"

The flames around Zancrow's wrists molded into scythes, as the God Slayer began hacking and slashing away at Elise's position with speeds far beyond what any Mage could have ever hoped to achieve.

Elise bobbed and weaved around them, noticing straight away that the attack pattern was identical to the last time he'd used the technique against her in Oshibana. After waiting for an opening, she batted aside his left swing, delivering a brutal headbutt to the enemy God Slayer, as she immediately moved in with her counter.

"God's Aura: War God's Armageddon Storm!"

Zancrow was wide open, as Elise tore into him with a brutal combo attack comprised of dozens of rapid-fire punches and kicks, all expertly delivered precisely where she needed them to go. The Fire God Slayer was far too sluggish, and thus, forced to endure the vicious beating, as her final punch smacked him right in the nose.

Hearing the audible crunch of Zancrow's skull, Elise flipped mid-air, kicking him back down to the ground. Zancrow once more struck it hard enough to cause a crater, though this time, it wasn't quite hard enough to flip the earth around the impact zone.

Elise hovered high above, looking down on him with a cold expression, waiting for him to inevitably emerge once again. And, sure enough, Zancrow did emerge, only it appeared that his healing factor was struggling to keep up with the damage he'd sustained.

"You… What have you done," Zancrow coughed. "My Regenerative Powers…ARE FAILING ME!?"

"That's your own fault Zancrow for abusing a power you shouldn't have," Elise replied honestly. "This form requires two things, and two things alone. First, you have to have the raw power to access the form. You obviously had it, since you can access it easily enough. However, the other requirement is undoubtedly even more important…"

"Tch-!"

"You aren't a true disciple of a God, Zancrow," Elise replied sharply, as the Fire God Slayer glared up at her hatefully. "In order to fully access this form, and utilize it to its peak, you need the power of the Gods. Without it, the form will rapidly drain you until you're out of Magical Power."

"The fuck do you know," Zancrow spat back hatefully. "You're just some useless, Council cock-sucking reject who gets carried by a fucking Wizard Saint! YOU'RE NOTHING ELISE FAULKNER … NOTHING!"

Elise didn't respond. Instead, she merely sucked in a deep breath, her chest puffing right out, with Zancrow doing the same.

"Fire God's Bellow!"

"God's Aura: War God's Bellow!"

Zancrow fired his breath attack first, thinking he'd all but won, only for Elise to fire hers in response, proving that thought to be nothing more than pure fantasy.

Zancrow (Fire God's Champion, Excessively Straining) – 309,200 MPI

Elise Faulkner (War God's Champion, Fatigued) – 912,488 MPI

Despite both combatants having fought for an equal amount of time, Elise's statement held true. Zancrow was rapidly reaching empty, whilst Elise was only suffering mild Magical Exhaustion.

As a result, when the pair fired their respective Bellows… Elise's was three times larger than Zancrow's own.

The Fire God Slayer's eyes widened in genuine fear for the first time in his life, as Elise's attack bore down upon him. There was absolutely no recourse for the Fire God Slayer, no counter, no possibility of escape. He couldn't even beg since his mouth was being used for his Bellow.

Zancrow knew he was going to die, and there was absolutely nothing he could do about it.

His eyes met those of Elise, and, he found absolutely no pity there. She was resolved to kill him here, to slay a fellow God Slayer…

Zancrow's attack fizzled out, as Elise's smashed into the earth, engulfing the Fire God Slayer's form, along with everything around him. The last thing Elise saw of Zancrow, was the God Slayer giving her the finger, even as his body was being ripped apart.

Truly, it was a testament to just how much of a terrible person Zancrow was.

Following through on her attack, it detonated, setting off a massive explosion that shook the entire island, blasting the area apart as it was engulfed in a massive, black-colored dome comprised of War God Slayer Magic.

The attack slowly fizzled out, as Elise allowed herself to gently float to the ground, before collapsing to her knees, panting heavily. The moment she deactivated her God's Aura, she coughed up a significant amount of blood, though curiously, she noticed that from a strand of her hair, it didn't change back.

"Heh… Proud of me … Mother," Eliza gasped, before collapsing unconscious.

Several minutes later, the sound of multiple footsteps could be heard, as two men approached her downed form. The man at the rear had a notable scar on the left side of his face, and short black hair.

The man at the front, however, had long black hair that was done up in a topknot, and wore a distinctive pair of glasses.

"I really don't think this is a good idea…"

"Your opinion is noted, and summarily ignored," the man with the glasses sniffed as he looked down at Elise's unconscious form. "Do it."

"I…"

"Wipe her memories… Make her mine again," the man hissed. "She's getting far too powerful; this is probably the last chance we'll ever have-!"

"I can understand wiping her memories… But Sir, it isn't right to-."

"Do. As. I. Say."

"…"

"I…"

"What did I just hear you two talking about doing?"

Both men froze up as a newcomer appeared between them, and their target. Almost immediately, they stepped back, as if it would help them. The newcomer being the absolute last person they wanted to have run into…

***POTD***

"I won't forgive you for what you did to Wendy you monster," Erza cried, as both she and Azuma blitzed through the forest.

Erza attacked Azuma with a flurry of fast paced sword strikes, with Azuma both dodging, and countering in turn with his vines, immediately putting Erza on the defensive. Evading some of the vines, she leapt from tree to tree, slicing them apart until an entire swarm of them rained down upon her.

"Let's see you handle this one, Titania!"

Green lightning exploded from her blades, as Erza made a X shape above her head, before slashing down either side of her current position. Right as the vines went to strike, a small green colored dome of lightning formed around her, causing the vines to bounce off, before suddenly igniting, burning to a crisp.

"Very good," Azuma praised, landing on a nearby rock and dropping into a crouch. "Though I trained hard for the coming invasion, it appears that you weren't idle either…"

"You can keep your damn praise," Erza hissed in response. "You've gone too far!"

"If the girl didn't want to be broken, then she should not have become a Guild Mage," Azuma shrugged in response. "You know as well as I do, the life of a Mage is one of conflict. A soft weakling like that girl had no place-."

"She was just a young girl," Erza snapped back furiously. "She only just joined us not too long-ago, you bastard! She's still learning how to use how power properly, how to be a true Mage!"

"That isn't my concern," Azuma replied in an uncaring manner. "I have no interest in babying fledgling Mages."

"Natsu's right about you Dark Mages," Erza snarled, as Azuma sensed a shift in her Magical Power. "None of you deserve to live, because all you ever do is bring chaos and ruin to the lives of good people!"

"If those people don't possess the strength to defend those lives, then they don't deserve them to begin with."

Erza grit her teeth, absolutely furious at the Dark Mage before her. She wouldn't even dare call him Human, because he clearly held little regard for the lives of others. Her body became enveloped in a bright white light.

Requip – Armor Of The Scarlet Dragon!"

Emerging from the light, Erza stepped forward, pointing her blade directly at him, as her Magical Power surged even further.

"That Armor… Something about that Armor is different from the last time," Azuma murmured to himself, as fire exploded around her form. "No matter, In the end, she'll die like the rest!"

Erza Scarlett (ASD, Enraged) – 312,449 MPI

Erza vanished, reappearing above Azuma with surprising speed, her leg coated in orange fire as she raised it above her head.

"Scarlet Talon!"

Azuma ducked, the attack sweeping narrowly over his back, as he immediately moved to counter. Grabbing her ankle, he threw her toward a tree, but Erza flipped and landed on the side of the trunk, immediately propelling herself back at him.

"This may indeed be what I was looking for," the Kin smirked, as Erza's blade began to glow a bright orange color.

"I couldn't care less what you're looking for," Erza roared in response. "You'll pay for hurting Wendy! Scarlet Wing Blade!"

A large amount of fire engulfed Erza's sword, the flames quickly taking on the shape of a Dragon's Wing. Rushing Azuma, she cried out in anger as she missed her target, cutting down every tree in front of her up to the cliffs.

"The famous Erza Scarlett at her most primal, such an enticing battle indeed!"

Skidding to a stop behind him, Erza turned around and readied her blade once more, as she looked Azuma in the eyes with a cold stare.

"You can say whatever you want, but you won't be leaving this island alive after what you've done!"

"Then try and stop me Erza," Azuma replied, as he rushed Erza, and landed a series of fierce blows to her, before knocking her into the air. "Great Tree Arc – Bleve!"

Holding his hand up in her direction, a colossal explosion engulfed everything before him, including Erza. The attack lit up the skies above Tenrou momentarily, as the Kin finally decided to begin getting serious.

"Scarlet Iron Fist!"

Azuma's eyes widened in genuine shock, as Erza emerged through his attack, barely having taken any damage, and punched him with a fire coated fist. Azuma found his body submerged into a small crater, which he quickly sank into, before reemerging several meters away.

"Great Tree Arc – Ramus Sica!"

Extending his right arm outward, several trees grew out of the ground, with the branches quickly extending in Erza's direction. Erza easily sliced them apart with her sword, however, this only elicited a smirk from the Dark Mage.

"Great Tree Arc – Folium Sica!"

The branches Erza had just cut were a trap, as the leaves suddenly reared up, and began to slice into Erza from all directions. As she struggled to break free of the attack, Azuma created a tree directly in front of her, which then molded itself into a large fist.

The attack struck Erza hard, sending her flying through dozens of trees and into a rock wall, which quickly collapsed on top of her.

"Yes… give me more Erza Scarlett! Show me a battle that I'll remember!"

After the dust had settled, Erza emerged from the hole in the cliff face, panting heavily and bleeding profusely from multiple cuts across her face. Erza didn't let her battle damage stop her, however, and swiftly rushed Azuma.

To Azuma's surprise, she began to land the occasional blow against him. He had expected her resistance to begin waning by now, yet it appeared as if she was more committed to the fight than ever before.

After Erza managed to actually land a strike with her blade along Azuma's arm, the Dark Mage flared his power, batting aside her next swing, and delivering a brutal series of punches and kicks to the Requip Mage, before belting her across the face hard enough with a roundhouse kick to send her flying back into the same rock wall she'd hit earlier.

"Your fighting prowess certainly isn't over-exaggerated, Titania. However, you cannot defeat me as you are…"

Ripping herself from the rock wall, Erza dropped to her knees and spat out a considerable amount of blood, wiping more from her face as she glared up at the Dark Mage, gritting her bloody teeth.

"You think… this is all I can do," Erza growled, as she shakily forced herself to her feet. "How could I ever hope to stand by his side… if I can't even put down a piece of scum like you!?"

Azuma seemed momentarily confused, before a deep frown marred his features. Putting two and two together, the Dark Mage shook his head.

"You're talking about Dragneel, aren't you," the Dark Mage sneered. "Why would a powerful Mage like him allow something as superficial as Romance get in the way? He's a Wizard Saint, he doesn't need someone like you?"

"You're wrong…"

"What's that?"

"You're wrong about Natsu if you think he got to where he is alone," Erza countered firmly. "He's a man with a heart larger than anyone else I know… and I'm honored to even have a place in it!"

Azuma tensed as he felt something shift within Erza, her Magical Power increasing drastically as the Armor visibly began shifting around, molding itself to her like a second skin as the strange jewel in her crown sank partially into her forehead.

"What is this!?"

"I wanted to wait until I could show Natsu this, but I wouldn't forgive myself if I let a disgusting, sub-Human piece of trash like you get away," Erza declared, as her sword vanished, her gauntlets molding into her hands with her fingers elongating ever so slightly.

"What… What is this!? This is no Requip Magic!?"

"You'll be the first foe I've fought using the true power of this Armor," Erza declared proudly, as the rest of the crown molded itself around her forehead, reforming into two horns around thirty centimeters in length. "Armor Shift – Fire Dragon Slayer Mode!"

Erza entered an offensive stance, as her fists ignited in a manner similar to how Natsu's would. It didn't take long for the man to put two and two together, rapidly analyzing what she had just done.

"Impossible… That Armor allows you to become a Second-Generation Dragon Slayer, disregarding the need for a Lacrima Infusion!?"

Erza Scarlett (ASD + Fire Dragon Slayer Mode, Full Power) – 624,898 MPI

Erza rushed Azuma's position, her right arm extended outward as crimson fire quickly surrounded it, forming the shape of a Dragon's Wing.

"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!"

Striking the stunned Azuma square in the chest, the man lurched forward, coughing up blood as he was sent flying through the forest smashing through several large boulders before finally shaking himself out of his shocked stupor.

"The power of the Salamander, Natsu Dragneel … I don't believe it," Azuma gasped, partly shocked, but also with a look of excitement as he placed a hand to the ground, his own power increasing. "Finally… I can truly go all out!"

Azuma charged toward Erza, an almost maniacal look on his face. The pair closed the distance between one another almost immediately, as Azuma went to punch Erza in the face. To his shock, flames surrounded her jaw, as she bit down on the man's hand, tearing off two fingers in the process.

"Fire Dragon's Flaming Fang!"

"This is exactly what I want," Azuma roared, as hundreds of roots shot out from all directions, quickly engulfing Erza's position as hundreds more piled on after. "Let's see how you survive THIS Titania!? Great Tree Arc – Terra Clamare!"

A massive explosion engulfed the entire area in flames, pitch black smoke blanketing a quarter of the island. Azuma panted heavily, dropping to one knee as he began to laugh, waving his good arm to blast the smoke away.

Where Erza had once stood, was nothing more than a crater of raging flame. Azuma knew Erza was at the center of it, as he shakily rose to his feet. His excitement quickly turned to a mixture of shock and horror, however, as he noticed the level of flames rapidly decreasing.

"Impossible… That's impossible!?"

At the center of the crater, a shadowy figure stood tall, as all the fire was sucked in their direction. As the flames were stripped away, it revealed Erza, who had devoured every last scrap of fire from Azuma's strongest attack, licking her lips, before smirking up in his direction.

"That tasted amazing," Erza grinned, instantly appearing at the crater's edge. "Now I know why Slayers love eating their own element, mine tasted just like Strawberry Cake!"

Azuma was completely speechless. His final resort to take Erza out had not only failed, but it had completely backfired on him. Erza was now overcharged on Fire Magic now, as flames exploded from her eyes, nose, mouth and ears, as the Requip Mage slowly advanced toward him.

"No," Azuma hissed, summoning multiple trees to block her path. "Stay back!"

To the Dark Mage's horror, Erza simply walked right through the trees, completely incinerating them, as he began to scramble backward.

"It's time to finish you off," Erza growled, as she got within five meters of the man before ceasing her advance. "This is for Wendy you son of a bitch…"

Taking a deep breath, her chest puffed right out, an action that Azuma knew all too well as he tried to run. Unfortunately for him, it was far too late, even as he started sinking his body into the ground to make an escape.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!"

Erza fired the overcharged breath attack near point blank, instantly striking the fleeing Dark Mage, as he began to scream. His body was bathed in searing hot fire, his flesh being blasted away in moments, his bones being reduced to ashes not too long after that.

Erza kept up her breath attack, the sheer size of it visible across Tenrou as it tore through the now battle-scarred landscape, until she was absolutely certain Azuma was dead.

Once she finally ended the attack, steam rose up from her mouth, as she grit her teeth, which appeared slightly sharper than normal. Clenching her fists, she looked up toward the darkened skies of Tenrou.

"I hope Natsu and the others can handle the rest, because that … that took a lot out of me…"

Erza's body was enveloped in a bright white light, as she returned to her regular form, Requipping her standard Armor. Turning on her heel, she slowly started making her way back toward the camp, hoping the others would be alright.

Gray was not having a good day.

First, his partner for the Tenrou Trials up and vanished. Then, Grimoire Heart Mages start attacking the island in absurd numbers, and he couldn't even find any of the others!?

He'd been running through the forest for some time, not entirely sure where he was going, when he suddenly stumbled upon two unconscious Mages. One, he had absolutely no idea about. But the other…

"Ur!?"

Racing over, Gray skidded to a stop before his downed mentor, shocked that she even was unconscious at all. Checking her over quickly, he suddenly felt someone grab his wrist, his eyes snapping to the other person, who was now clearly very much awake.

"You…"

"Did you do this!? Who the Hell are you-!?"

"Shut up Gray Fullbuster," the woman hissed, as he easily shook off her grip. "I don't know what happened, but I'm her Daughter…"

"Wait…"

Gray's eyes widened considerably as they darted between Ur and the woman before him. "You're … Ultear …"

Gray's response all but solidified Ultear's feelings on the matter of her Mother. It was obvious by the way Gray immediately let his guard down, and how he actually had to sit down, gaping at her, that he'd also assumed she was dead.

"You're actually Ultear…?"

"Yes Gray, I am," Ultear replied with a stiff nod. "The introductions can wait though, because I need to do something, quickly!"

"What do you need to do," Gray asked slowly.

"I'm the leader of the Seven Kin of Purgatory," Ultear began, startling Gray, though he made no move to attack her. "I'm defecting. But, there's another member of the Seven Kin who I want to stop, before its too late for her!"

"Wait… you're-!?"

"Who… Who is it?"

"Ur," Gray gasped, as his mentor slowly rose into a sitting position, clearly groggy. "Ur, is she really-!?"

"It's a very long story Gray. All that matters now, is that after all these years, Ultear and I are finally reunited. Now, who is it we're going to find?"

"Well, her name is Meredy, she's another of the Seven Kin," Ultear began to explain. "She's my…"

Gray and Ur were confused when Ultear looked away for a moment, seemingly weighing up her next set of words, a small blush on her face.

"She's my … Daughter."

Gray's eyes widened, but Ur's jaw fully dropped at the news, before she was right up in Ultear's face.

"Are you telling me … that I'm a GRANDMOTHER!?"

"She's only adopted," Ultear replied weakly, which only slightly calmed her Mother down. "I took her in when she was young, and raised her like my own…"

"We have to find her," Ur replied firmly, rising to her feet despite the absurd levels of fatigue she was feeling. "Come on you two, I have a Granddaughter to spoil!"

"Is now really the time for that," Gray began to ask, only for Ur's icy glare to immediately shut him down as he instantly moved to help Ultear to her feet. "I mean yeah, let's go!"

With a firm nod, Ur marched off into the forest, dragging a stunned and embarrassed Ultear, and a resigned Gray, with her.

"So, it seems Zancrow, Azuma and Caprico have been killed… How interesting?"

Bluenote stood tall atop one of the higher cliffs that remained on the battle scarred Tenrou Island. After feeling the surges in power from Zancrow and Azuma's battles, the man decided to hold off on his attack, curious of the outcome.

"Now that those battles are done, its time I stepped in and cleaned up the mess," the Grand Wizard muttered darkly, as he opened up his reserves once again. "I know you feel this Dragneel…"

Leaping from the cliff, he charged off in the direction of the camp that the Fairy Tail Mages were using for their wounded. He knew Dragneel couldn't resist trying to stop him, and he wasn't about to let Natsu get away.

Not after their last encounter.

"This time, nothing will stop me from getting what I want from you… Dragneel."

The Grand Wizard picked up speed, estimating that he'd arrive at the camp in five minutes time. If Dragneel wasn't there, or didn't intercept him by that time… Then he would have to make do entertaining himself with the scraps that remained there, he supposed.

Little did he know, that he most certainly would be getting the battle he craved, as his presence was most certainly being tracked… by two Grand Wizards.
