Summary: What if Luz was hit with the Petrification spell at the end of Young Blood, Old Souls? What if it didn't have the same effects on Humans? What if Luz the Human, became Luz the Living Statue?

Luz tried saw the green beam fly towards Eda, King, and Lilith. She had no time to throw a glyph, so she did the only thing she could do. She ran in front of the beam and screamed in pain as her skin turned to stone. When it stopped, a statue replaced Luz. Eda looked at where her former apprentice, tears started to run down here face, making her feather's get wet. The crowd got silent as they watched, Gus and Willow were the most horrified by it. Emperor Belos finally made it to the roof and saw the statue in front of the cage.

"It would seem she's gotten what she deserved." He looked at Kikimora, "Get the machine ready again. I promised the Owl Lady will be Petrified, and I mean it." He walked towards the ledge, "Children of the Isles, apologies for the delay. This insufferable Human has caused so much damage. We will-"

He went on, unaware that the statue behind him had opened its eyes. He was turned around and a hard fist made of rock hit him in the face, breaking off a piece of his already cracked mask. He was sent to the ground and looked at what hit him. He saw Luz, with an angry look at him. She didn't seem to notice the changes to her, but then grabbed Belos by his cloak. She pulled him up and tossed him to the other side of the roof. She ran over and held him down and hit him several times before she saw her hand. She stood up and looked at her hands. She saw Coven guards start to come onto the roof and she ran to the cage. She opened the cage.

"L-Luz?" Eda asked.

"E-E-Eda. I'm sorry." Luz said.

Eda looked around and grabbed Luz with her front hands as King and Lilith got on her back. They flew off and into the night. Belos started to get up and looked at the Owlbeast and Statue.

"Enjoy this, it will be the only victory you'll get." He said.

Eda dropped Luz and landed hard on the ground outside the Owl House.

"Don't worry, Eda, I'll go get you an Elixir."

"I'm afraid that won't fix it." Lilith said, "But I can split it between the two of us."

Luz let Lilith walk over to Eda. She stopped paying attention and held her wrist. She looked at the gray stone that makes up her new skin.
