Summary: Belos never thought he would be cut out for fatherhood, until he found two girls, no older than one and three respectively, abandoned by their parents in the woods. He knew they wouldn't last long by themselves, so that's how he became a father.

Belos walked into the castle with a fifteen year old girl with glasses and disgruntled thirteen year old girl, with a black eye and broken nose, walking next to him. Belos looked at his youngest and spoke with a disappointed tone.

"Go to your room. I'll talk to you later."

The disgruntled girl stomped to her room, making sure to slam the door. Belos rubbed his head... mask.

"What am I going to do with her?"

"Maybe... let her join the Grudgby team?" His oldest said.

"What?"

"She clearly has a lot of anger issues and can't get them out other than fighting, so why not let her try? You let me try out, and I'm the captain now."

"Lilith, you know how I feel about that sport."

"But Edalyn can hold her own. She's a powerful witch, imagine how good she would be."

Belos had to admit, it was better than any idea he could come up with. Maybe, just maybe... it could work.

"Lilith, go start your homework. I need to speak with your sister."

"Okay, father."

Lilith went to her room and Belos went to Eda's. He knocked on the door, but didn't get an answer.

"Edalyn?"

He opened the door and saw his youngest daughter unleashing all her anger on a punching bag. With an anger filled scream, she punched it off of its chain. Eda kept breathing heavily and stomped over to her bed. She sat on it, making an angry sigh as she did. Belos walked over to the bed and sat on it, right next to Eda.

"Are you sure you don't want to change to the Construction Track? You clearly are strong enough without the power glyph." Belos said.

"I want to study all of the Tracks, you know that."

He put an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close.

"I know you do, but I can't allow that. I can pull some strings and get you to study two or three, but you can't study all of them."

"If I'm going to be a part of the Coven, shouldn't I be able to perform all forms of magic?"

"Well, yes, but I can teach you that." He said, "Edalyn, what's going on? This is the third fight you've gotten into, this month alone. You aren't usually like this, what's going on?"

Eda stayed quiet for a second and mumbled something.

"What was that?" Belos said.

She mumbled again, this time a little louder.

"Come again?"

"I just want to show I'm strong!" Eda screamed, "All I hear about is how strong Lilith will be as Emperor! I just want to prove that I'm just as strong!"

Eda felt tears run down her face. Belos pulled Eda into a hug and ran a hand through her massive mane of orange hair. He put a hand under her chin and gently moved her head up to look at him.

"Edalyn, don't let anyone get to you. You will be a powerful witch, and are someone that any Coven would be proud to have."

Eda sniffled and looked at her dad.

"You mean it?"

"I do. I'm proud of you and anyone that thinks you aren't can come say that to my face." Belos said, "I think there's a good place for you to get your anger out and to show how strong you are."

"You do?"

"How about, you try out for Grudgby?"

"Really?!" Eda said, excitedly.

"Against my better judgement, yes, you can try out for Grudgby." Belos said, "But you need to heal first."

Eda lunged at him and hugged him.

"Thank you, daddy!"

Belos sighed and patted Eda's head.

"You're welcome, Honey." He laid her down and put a blanket over her, "Get some rest, we'll talk more tomorrow... you know, because you were suspended for the rest of the week. We have a lot of time to talk."

Eda smiled.

"Just means we'll have a few daddy/daughter days."

He light patted her head again.

"Please just rest, Edalyn."

He got up and left the room, carefully closing the door on his way out.
