Summary: I don't know yet.
Odalia Blight was a successful woman, no one could deny that. She had money, power, influence, everything someone could ask for. So, that makes it weird when you hear that the woman that has everything, has a self-made rivalry with a child. That's where we start, with Odalia in Blight Manor library. She walked to a locked down and pulled out a key to unlock it. On top of being successful, she has a private collection of... special items. She walked into the room and walked over to a self with several rolled up papers. She grabbed one and smiled.
"This will be perfect for the Human." Odalia said.
She started to read it and it began to glow. At the Owl House, Luz was sleeping when she started to sweat uncontrollably. She tossed in her sleeping bag until she couldn't sleep anymore. She shot up in bed, breathing heavily. She got up and ran to the bathroom. She turned on the sink and splashed water on her face.
"What was that? Why did I get so hot?" Luz asked.
Luz looked up at her reflection and screamed. Half her face was falling off. Luz ran to Eda's room and started pounding on the door.
"Eda! Eda! Eda!"
Eda opened the door and rubbed her eyes.
"Kid, it's three in the morning, this better be good." Eda said.
"Eda, my face is melting!"
This got Eda to fully wake up as she looked at Luz.
"Oh no, I might know what this is."
"What is it!?" Luz asked.
"I'll tell you later, right now, we need to cool you down."
Eda grabbed Luz's arm and started running to the kitchen.
"What's going on? How are you going to cool me down, some sort of freezing spell?" Luz asked.
"Actually, I'm going to throw you in the freezer."
"What!?"
Before Luz could comprehend what was happening, Eda grabbed her and threw her in the freezer, closing the door to it behind her. Luz sat in the freezer, wondering why Eda just threw her in here. She was on her back with her knees touching her chin, clearly no one was meant to be put in the freezer.
"Why am I in the freezer? Why was I melting? And most importantly... why does the cold not seem to affect me?"
Luz was generally surprised to see that the cold didn't seem to hurt her, instead, it seemed to be stopping the... whatever happened to her. After a while, Eda opened it.
"Alright, it's been ten minutes, you should be fine." Eda said, pulling Luz out of the freezer.
She set Luz down and started looking over her. She pressed on Luz's skin and saw her thumb actually left an imprint, almost like if you put your thumb in clay.
"Well... you're cursed." Eda said.
"What?!"
"Relax, this isn't a really bad curse once you get used to it." Eda said, "Long story short, you have a curse called Claymantion, pretty common curse that was outlawed years ago. You're basically living clay, you can be crushed, pulled apart, molded, basically, if you can do it with clay, it can happen to you."
Luz fainted, which Eda expected. She picked Luz up and carried her to the couch.
"We'll deal with this in the morning, I promise."
