Summary (Work in Progress): Luz is chosen to establish a connection with another vault. This simple mission was only supposed to take a few days, but it turns into a great adventure, finding friends, romance, and trying to help everyone along the way.

This is just what Luz was waiting for. She was chosen to leave the vault and establish connection with Vault 746. A part of her was excited yet scared at the same time.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Mija?" Camila asked.

"Yes, I've always wanted to do this." Luz said, "Don't worry mom, I'll be safe."

"I know, it's just... all I have is you and Vee. I can't let one of my twins getting hurt." Camila said, handing Luz a box, "This might help."

Luz opened it and saw a rifle.

"Woah, where did you get this?"

"I had it made specifically for you." Camila said, "It's got room for customization, perfect for your creative mind. I figured it would go well with the pistol your dad got you before."

Camila didn't finish that sentence. When Luz and Vee were young, their dad got them twin 10mm pistols, one for each of them. Trained them on how to use them as well. He wanted them to be able to protect themselves if he didn't come home, a day they never thought would come…. until it did come. Now, Luz is going on the exact same mission. It was safe to say that Camila was nervous.

"L-L-Luz?"

They turned and saw Vee.

"Yeah, sis?" Luz asked.

Vee rubbed her arm as she walked to her sister, suddenly pulling her into a hug.

"Come back alive. Please." Vee said as she hugged Luz tightly, which Luz immediately hugged back.

"I will, I promise." Luz said.

She strapped her rifle to her back and put her pistol on her belt. She gave her mom and twin one last look before heading towards the vault door.

"Here I go."

Camila and Vee watched her leave, praying that Luz will be safe. The vault door opens, allowing Luz to go into the great unknown. Luz was allowed the use me of a vehicle to help her reach her destination and she chose a motorcycle. She exited the vault and looked around.

"So, this is what the outside looks like." Luz said.

She walked over to her motorcycle and got on. She's heard about the dangers of the wasteland and knew she needed to get this done quickly.

'If I'm lucky, I'll only run into a few random bandits.' Luz thought as she revved up her motorcycle and began driving to Vault 746.
