Summary (Work in Progress): Luz never expected her life to become like this when she was sent to live with her Aunt in Manhattan, but never has her life been simple. Now she at least has the chance to get justice for her mom, and maybe help a few people along the way.

Luz carried a tray to a table and began to place the drinks down.

"Alright, one hot chocolate with milk, one green tea, and one black coffee." Luz said, placing the drinks in front of her friends.

"Thanks, Luz." Gus said.

"You're welcome." Luz said, spinning the tray on a finger before putting it to her side.

"Wow, you've gotten really good at that." Willow said, "Hard to believe that when you first moved here, you were a shy, timid girl."

"Yeah, well, spending time with my aunt has really broke me out of my shell after... what happened." Luz said.

"If you ever want to talk about what happened, we're here." Amity said, taking a sip of her coffee.

"Yeah, I'll think about that." Luz said, "I'll be back with your treats."

Luz headed to the counter and put several brownies and cookies on the tray. She was about to bring it back to her friends when a drink was placed on it. Luz looked up and saw Eda.

"Who's drink is this?" Luz asked.

"Yours." Eda said, "Kid, you've been working all morning, go take a break and hang out with your friends."

"Are you sure?" Luz asked, "I don't want you to do everything yourself."

"Kid, I kept this place open through two recessions by myself, I can handle bringing some drinks to tables." Eda said, "Besides, it's not even that busy in here on account of the upcoming snowstorm. Now go."

Luz took her apron off and hugged Eda. She grabbed the tray and headed back to the table. Eda watched with a smile until she heard the door open.

"Oh, great, the cops." Eda said, leaning against the counter, "What do I owe the pleasure, Lily?"

"Edalyn." Lilith said, "I need to speak with you."

"Well, I have a business to run, so I'll take a rain check."

"If you don't comply, I will place you under arrest." Lilith said, pulling out the detective badge, "This is serious."

Eda frowned and pulled Lilith to the kitchen.

"What is it?" Eda asked.

"Don't play dumb with me, you know something about the new vigilante around the city." Lilith said.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Yes, you do!" Lilith said, "You think I'm dumb? I know about your past, Eda. Why wouldn't a former vigilante not know about the new one? Eda, if you're involved in this, tell me now, because I can't bail you out this time."

"Then slap the cuffs on me, because I don't know." Eda said.

The sisters stare at each other until Lilith's radio goes off.

"Attention all units, we have a 10-39Q in progress." The officer on the other side of the radio said, "I repeat, we have a hostage situation, in progress. 40th floor of the World Trade Center. It's believed that there is a gang, and they are armed."

Lilith looked at Eda.

"We aren't done with this." She said.

Lilith ran out of the Café and into her car. She fumbled with the keys for a second before starting it and driving to the World Trade Center. In the Café, Eda looked at group of kids, hearing the radio go off.

"Alright, Luz why don't you... go make sure everything is fine while I bring these kids home." Eda said, "Come on, Kids, we're a little too close to the World Trade Center and I don't want your parents to get mad at me for having you three so close to a crime zone."

"What about Luz?" Willow asked, as Luz ran up the stairs.

"Don't worry." Eda looked at the stairs, "She's going to be okay."

Luz entered her room and ditched her clothes, revealing a black suit with a large white spider under it. She didn't stop and jumped out the window. Falling a bit before she shot two webs out of her wrists and shot herself like a stone being fired from a sling shot. She flipped her hood up and pulled up her scarf that she sewn into the suit. She began to swing to tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. She wasn't going to let these people die, not like her mom did.
