Chapter 15: Revenge
Friday Night Smackdown (February 8, 2008 Tapings): Corpus Christi, Texas - American Bank Center, February 5, 2008
Early Morning; Hours before SmackDown goes on air...
Dray pulled into the parking lot of the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, stepping out of the rented vehicle with a tired sigh.
"What's with that look?"
Dray turned towards the voice, just in time to see Roxanna stepping away from her motorbike and walking towards the Head Creative writer for the Divas Division with a tad look of concern.
The 29 year old veteran had her long black hair in a single ponytail, and was wearing her black white-trimmed bikers jacket, a black tank top and black skinny leather pants that was tucked into black knee-length stilettos. Held over her shoulder was a black duffle bag that held her ring gear inside.
"Hey Roxy. It's nothing. Just exhausted. Last night was hectic," Dray replied tiredly.
"Oh yeah! We're super busy this week," Roxanna chuckled in amusement, completely understanding why the young man appeared to be not as energetic as usual. "The RAW roster is already in Europe right?"
"Yep. They'll have finished up in Alaska by now. They are probably already in South Korea," Dray confirmed. The two proceeded to walk out of the parking lot and into the backstage set of the arena, waving to crew members and other wrestlers as they walked past. Dray shook his head with a tired sigh. "Even after all this time, I'm still left wondering how you guys do this every year."
Roxanna let loose an amused chuckle at that. "It's always busy around this time of year Dray. You know that more than anyone."
"I know. You're right. But don't you guys get tired?" the young man asked.
"Of course!" Roxanna replied with a smile. "A lot of us don't actually like the travel, but for me it's fun. We'll be in Houston tomorrow, then Mexico, and then we'll be performing in Ecuador for the first time."
"I just hope the girls don't run themselves ragged before they get to Vegas..." Dray muttered, making Roxanna chuckle in amusement.
"We'll be fine. But we appreciate the concern. Where's Christy tonight?" the veteran asked, quickly noticing the absence of Dray's girlfriend.
"She's around. She left the hotel before me, so I literally have no idea where she is," Dray answered with a shake of his head.
Roxanna chuckled. "It's just like you to lose your girlfriend!"
"Hey! It ain't my fault she likes to make a habit of disappearing on me sometimes!" Dray exclaimed, his face reddening with embarrassment, making Roxanna chuckle in amusement.
"So, what do you have planned for tonight anyway?" the veteran asked.
Dray dug into his briefcase and pulled out the script for tonight, handing it over to Roxanna. "You're extremely lucky. It was a pain in the ass to get the old man to approve of this."
The tall woman looked the script over with a raised eyebrow, before smirking at Dray. "Looks like you got a fun night planned tonight."
"I take it you like it then," Dray said with a small grin, his mood lifting slightly.
"I love it! I particularly liked the end part!" Roxanna commented, her smirk widening mischievously. "Don't think I didn't see you sneaking "her" in too."
"Well I think she's an incredible talent," Dray replied with a smile. "Sheree's intriguing and I can't wait to see her grow, but I also personally can't wait to see what "she" has in store for us."
"You're talking like they're gonna be huge," Roxanna noted, her smirk growing.
"Anyone of the women on the roster can be huge assets when allowed to use their strengths to their advantage. It just takes time and a lot of effort," Dray replied seriously before clearing his throat, ignoring Roxanna's wide smile.
"But yeah, I think they're both amazing," Dray replied, his eyes growing glassy as he thought more about the future of the Divas Division.
Roxanna chuckled as Dray went into his own world.
"You have a really good eye for talent, ya know that?" Roxanna complimented, making Dray grin in response.
"Well I try my best," he commented rather smugly, making Roxanna chuckle at the look on his face.
. . . .
Later, SmackDown on air...
"Paparazzi" blasted throughout the loudspeakers of the American Bank Center as the large crowd erupted into a sea of boos, watching as Melina's personal cameramen rushed out onto the stage, rolling out the red carpet and awaiting the arrival of the Paparazzi Princess.
"Well... here comes the WWE Women's Champion Melina..." Michael grumbled in distaste as Melina sauntered onto the stage in casual street-wear, a smug smirk on her face. Melina raised the Women's Championship over her head with both hands as her cameramen eagerly took pictures of her, receiving a massive heel response from the Texas crowd.
"Come on Michael! You can be more excited than that! I mean look how beautiful our Women's Champion looks!" Coachman complimented as Melina surveyed the hostile Texas crowd, completely unfazed by their anger, her smirk never leaving her face as she proceeded to walk down the ramp way, holding the title over her head with the cameras flashing in front of her as the paparazzi followed her down the aisle.
"Well after Melina's actions last week, I find it hard to share your enthusiasm," Michael retorted, the fans continuing to shower Melina with harsh boos as she walked down the narrow rampway. "What that woman did to Tara was completely uncalled for!"
"Oh give it a rest Michael!" Coachman retorted whilst rolling his eyes at Michael's comment, watching as Melina walked up the steel steps and onto the ring apron, lifting the Women's Championship high above her head with one hand, getting a huge heel pop from the Texas crowd. "Everyone knows that when you become a WWE Superstar or a WWE Diva, you're gonna get hurt! It comes with the job!"
Melina turned away from the flashing cameras behind her, using the bottom ropes as a springboard. The Paparazzi Princess hit the splits on the apron, receiving a few catcalls from the men in the audience, which was mostly drowned out by the angry boos.
"But not like that! Melina tried to end Tara's career last week! Because of her actions, we don't even know if Tara will be able to compete at No Way Out!" Michael snapped.
"And why should that be Melina's problem?" Coachman retorted as Melina slid underneath the bottom ropes and stood back up, stepping up onto the nearest corner ropes and raising the Women's Title into the air with both hands, her smirk widening in amusement as the Texas crowd continued to bombard her with angry boos. "If Tara wants to put the blame on anybody, it should be Teddy Long! If he had kept his stupid mouth shut and treated Melina with some proper respect, she wouldn't have done what she did to Tara!"
"You're unbelievable..." Michael sighed as Melina smirked mockingly at the angry fans, silently egging them on before jumping off the middle ropes and signalling for a microphone. The angry boos seem to increase in volume as Melina's music faded out, making her smirk at the crowd in amusement.
Melina rested the title on her shoulders and held the microphone to her lips, pausing as the Texas crowd continued to voice their hatred for the Women's Champion, making her smirk widen.
"Wow..." Cole breathed out in amusement. "They really don't like her."
"Melina can hardly get a word in! How disrespectful can these people get!" Coachman exclaimed in shock and annoyance at the large amount of boos that Melina was being showered with.
"Well we are in Texas. Tara was born here," Cole chimed in, making Coachman roll his eyes in an uncaring manner.
"Oh, that's just great!" Coach spat out in an annoyed sarcastic tone, while Melina surveyed the crowd with a smug grin that continued to grow as the fans somehow managed to get louder.
Melina couldn't help herself and erupted into amused laughter at the hostile crowd, making them boo louder in response until she calmed down enough to speak, the huge smirk on her face never faltering.
"Awww! What's wrong Texas?" Melina cooed mockingly as they continued to boo her.
"Did you not wanna see little old me? Am I not what you were expecting? Were you expecting someone else?" the black haired woman questioned, chuckling as a huge 'We Want Tara!' chant vibrated across the American Bank Center.
"You wanna see Tara?" Melina asked the crowd, her smirk widening when the arena erupted into a screaming pop at the thought of seeing The Princess of Death Valley.
"Well too bad! Cuz you won't be seeing your precious Goth Queen for a while! Not after I cracked open her skull, and left her lying in a pool of her own blood!" Melina exclaimed, making the Texas fans boo with even more hatred than before, her laughter only serving to anger them more.
"In fact... I beat her up so badly, that Tara is not cleared to compete! She won't be making it to No Way Out!" Melina said with a smirk.
"I mean sure... she still managed to get up on her own two feet and walk out, but that doesn't mean she isn't in pain!" the woman added. "She's probably somewhere deep in hell, sulking like a little baby, because I beat the HELL out of her!"
The Texas crowd booed harshly at this, making Melina shake her head with an evil smile of amusement at their anger.
"Which means, I won't be defending MY Women's Championship against that freak!" Melina bragged, chuckling as a louder chant of 'We Want Tara! We Want Tara! We Want Tara!' resounded throughout the arena.
"Awww, Texas~" Melina cooed mockingly as she looked over the Texas crowd with a little sad pout, before grinning mockingly at them. "You can chant for Tara all you want, but she still won't show up! Get over it!"
At that, the crowd responded by booing angrily and chanting 'Tara's gonna kill you! Tara's gonna kill you! Tara's gonna kill you!' making Melina scowl faintly and turn towards the section that was chanting the loudest.
"Oh you think so do you?" the Women's Champion growled as the chant got increasingly louder.
"Who was the one that was left lying in the middle of the ring with blood gushing from her head?!" she snapped, making the large crowd boo with intense anger in response. "That's what I thought!"
Melina turned away from that section of the crowd, a frown on her face as she surveyed the angry Texas fans. "You know... ever since last week, all I've been hearing is these useless, pathetic whiny comments about how I'm unprofessional! That I've made SmackDown an unsafe work environment!"
Melina's face scrunched up in anger at that.
"What a load of crap! I'm the WWE Women's Champion! I do what I want!" the Latina snapped, raising the Women's Title above her head and glaring at the fans, receiving a very harsh response from the crowd. "I rule the Divas Division! I could care less what you losers think of me!"
Melina placed the title back onto her shoulders whilst scowling at the massive amount of heat that was being thrown at her. "You know what? You people can moan and complain as much as you like! Cuz that's all you idiots seem to be good at!"
The WWE Women's Champion glared at the large SmackDown crowd as they booed harder in response to that insult, an annoyed expression on her face.
"So what if I busted Tara's head open with a steel chair!" Melina snapped, her anger starting to bubble as the Texas crowd continued to boo harshly. "As far as I'm concerned that gold-eyed freak had it coming!"
Melina shook her head and chuckled, now ignoring the heckles and jeers from the fans. It was blatantly clear at this point that they weren't going to stop.
"I mean... do you honestly think I was just going to stand idly by and watch as Tara got whatever the hell she wanted?!" the Women's Champion exclaimed, her upper lip twitching in anger.
"Tara demanded a rematch for my Women's Championship! Not just any match! No! A No Disqualification Match!" she snapped, shaking her head with a look of disgust at the very thought.
"And despite the fact that I clearly had no intention of competing in a No Disqualification Match, Tara got exactly what she wanted anyway! HOW IS THAT FAIR?!" Melina shouted, eyes darkening in rage. "I'M THE ONE HOLDING THE GOLD! I SHOULD BE CALLING THE SHOTS AROUND HERE! NOT TARA!"
Melina seethed in rage as the fans continued to boo in anger, her temper increasing as a loud and ruckus 'You Suck!' chant resounded throughout the American Bank Center.
Melina closed her eyes and took a deep breath, calming her anger before opening her eyes, leveling the Texas fans with a stern glare as the chant quieted down.
"I shouldn't have had to do what I did last week, but Tara pushed me over the edge! It's all her fault! Tara did this to herself!" the ebony-haired woman growled, causing the fans to boo with even more intensity, enraged by the fact that Melina was putting the blame on Tara for her actions. "If she hadn't demanded that rematch, none of this would have happened in the first place!"
Melina shrugged the Women's Title off her shoulders and held it in her hand, staring down at it before glaring back at the crowd.
"I have beaten every single one of your so-called heroes. None of them are on my level! I am the greatest Women's Champion in history! I mean how many times do I have to say it to get it through your thick skulls!" the Latin-American snapped with an icy glare directed at the fans as they continued to boo angrily.
Melina closed her eyes, calming down her temper that was rising yet again.
"I've said it once and I'll say it again. I will be WWE Women's Champion for a very long time..." Melina held the championship up over her head with one hand, her glare hardening as she stared down the Texas crowd. "And there is not one woman on this roster that can do a thing about-"
Melina whipped her head towards the stage, letting the arm that was holding the Women's Championship fall to her side, a look of annoyance appearing on her face at being interrupted by the beginning riffs of "I Walk Alone," making the fans in attendance erupt into a loud screaming reaction.
Jamie walked out from behind the minitron and out onto the stage, a small smirk on her face as she surveyed the audience that cheered in excitement at her arrival.
Jamie wore a low-cut black sleeveless tank top and dark blue skinny jeans that was tucked into knee-high black heeled boots.
"Well this is gonna be interesting! The former WWE Women's Champion has something to say!" Cole said as Jamie walked down the ramp, stopping halfway before hitting her machine-gun pose, with pyrotechnics going off on the stage behind her and finishing it off with a fist bump into the air, getting an excited response from the fans in attendance.
"She shouldn't even be out here! This doesn't concern her at all!" Coachman retorted in annoyance as Jamie fist bumped the fans whilst making her way to the ring, smirking at the unimpressed expression on Melina's face.
"Lets not forget that Jamie scored a victory over Melina a few weeks ago Coach," Cole reminded the man.
"That doesn't count! She only won because Tara took advantage of an incapacitated referee and interfered in the match!" Coachman snapped back as Jamie walked up the steps and entered the ring, signalling for a microphone, her music going silent as she smirked at Melina's irritation.
Melina placed the Women's Championship back onto her tanned shoulders and rubbed her forehead in annoyance as she glared at Jamie, feeling a migraine coming on.
"You'd better have a good reason to be-"
"Shut. Up." Jamie suddenly cut the woman off mid-sentence, the smirk on her face turning into a slightly annoyed frown, making the fans cheer in relief at the sight of Melina been effectively silenced.
Melina eyed Jamie with a warning glare, her upper lip curling up in anger at Jamie's disrespect.
"Just..." Jamie started, cutting off Melina again when she attempted to speak, much to her quickly rising annoyance and the fans amusement. Jamie sighed deeply as she glared at Melina in clear irritation. "Just shut up."
Melina dropped her microphone hand to the side, clearly not impressed, but decided to stay silent regardless.
"I have had it up to here with having to hear you go on and on about how much better you think you are," Jamie snarled, maintaining eye contact with the current Women's Champion.
"And if I have to hear you run your mouth about how you're the greatest Women's Champion in history one more time..." the redhead paused as she stared a hole through Melina, her light brown eyes narrowing in annoyance as she glared at the Latin-American.
"... I'm gonna cave your freakin' face in!" she growled in a low almost feral tone, making Melina's eyes widen in shock and anger, a dark look appearing on her face at the threat while the fans cheered loudly.
"You can't speak to the Women's Champion like that! Show some respect Jamie!" Coachman snapped as the two women glared at each other.
"You gonna make her?" Michael questioned in amusement.
"Shut up Michael!" Coachman snapped.
"Quite frankly..." the small frown on Jamie's face suddenly turned into a barely restrained angry snarl, stepping up to the Women's Champion and getting in her face, making the dark look in Melina's visage intensify greatly as she scowled up at the slightly taller woman.
"I'm sick of hearing your annoying voice! And I'm sick of having to watch you parade around with MY title!" Jamie growled, making Melina's eyes widen with rage as the fans cheered this on.
"Your title?!" Melina spat incredulously, her short words of rage being caught on Jamie's microphone, seething in anger at the woman's audacity.
"Yeah, my title! My title that you stole from me!" Jamie snarled whilst aggressively pointing at the Women's Championship, making Melina flinch away from her with a look of rage, backing away from the Crimson Wolf of SmackDown.
"Don't you dare touch it... It's mine! Understand?" Melina growled, making Jamie's lips twitch upward in a small smirk.
"I'm sick of you walking around like you own the place," Jamie continued with a calm coldness in her voice, the WWE fans cheering in agreement. "To be honest, I don't know how you can still call yourself a champion after what you did to Tara last week!"
"Oh my god I can't believe you're doing this right now!" Melina groaned into her microphone, rubbing her temple in frustration. Melina took a few steps away from the woman, creating a little bit more distance between herself and Jamie, glaring at the redhead with a scrutinizing gaze.
"You expect me to stand here and believe that what I did to Tara upset you?! That it angered you?!" the Latin-American questioned as Jamie glared at her with an emotionless frown. "You're so full of crap Jamie! You've never liked Tara! I bet you loved every second of what I did to her!"
Jamie's eyes narrowed dangerously into slits as Melina's glare intensified.
"You're only angry because I'm the one that put Tara on the shelf and not you!" Melina continued, causing the fans to boo at this, some of them even booing Jamie, realising that Melina raised a few good points.
"You can believe whatever you want. I don't care. Yeah... I don't like Tara. That ain't exactly a secret," Jamie admitted with a shrug.
"But I would never in a million years do what you did! You took the low road! The cheap easy way out! You tried to destroy a 12 year legacy because you don't want to defend that title! That doesn't make you a champion, Melina! That makes you a coward!" Jamie snapped in anger, while Melina glared at the woman with an uncaring scowl on her face, the fans in attendance cheering in agreement.
"But for some insane reason, you've got it into your head that you're somehow above every other woman that has ever held that championship," the redhead said sternly, her anger boiling when a mocking smirk appeared on Melina's face.
"Well news flash honey! Getting a few lucky wins doesn't make you the greatest Women's Champion in history!" Jamie snapped, making Melina chuckle.
"Lucky? You think I got lucky?" Melina questioned, raising an eyebrow at the comment, laughing when Jamie nodded.
"Oh honey, you poor, foolish little thing~" Melina cooed mockingly, making Jamie frown in annoyance. "Luck, is something losers like you need."
At this Jamie shook her head, a small annoyed grin appearing on her face at Melina's arrogance.
"I assure you, luck has nothing to do with why I'm still champion!" Melina stated with a cocky smirk. "It's simply because I'm smarter and better than the rest of you!"
Jamie just smiled whilst shaking her head.
"Ya know, that's exactly the sort of thing someone like you would say," the redhead replied, her smile disappearing quicker than it appeared, a light frown now appearing on her light-tanned face.
"One of these days, someone is gonna show up, and they're gonna beat you and take that title away from you and you won't see it coming!" Jamie retorted with a stern glare, effectively wiping the smirk off Melina's face. "One of these days someone is gonna humiliate you, like you have done to everyone since you first held that title! And once that happens, you'll go back to doing what you're good at. What you're known for Melina... Being a nobody that loses to Candice Michelle on a daily basis!"
Melina's mouth dropped, whilst the fans let loose a loud 'OOH!' at the insult. A seething scowl appeared on Melina's face as she glared angrily at the Crimson Wolf of SmackDown.
"C-Candice?!" Melina growled out, glaring at the redhead before her, blood boiling in rage.
"I can't believe you had the audacity to mention that failure's name in the same sentence as mine!" the black-haired woman snapped, thoroughly angered by Jamie's words. The redhead smirked viciously at Melina's reaction, knowing that she had managed to strike a nerve with that comment.
"Let me put this in a way that you can understand, cuz clearly all that hair dye is startin' to rot your brain!" the champion growled, stepping up to the redhead, maintaining eye contact as she scowled at Jamie, her strong Mexican accent starting to come through.
"Candice is so far below me, you'd need a microscope to see her! I'm a million times better than that talentless tramp!" Melina snapped, the fans releasing an 'Ooh!' and booing the current champion harshly at that remark.
"Hell! I'm better than you, Jamie!" the Women's Champion added, glaring at Jamie who frowned at that comment.
"Not just better! I'm leagues above you, Tara and everybody else that has ever held this title!" Melina growled whilst violently shrugging the title off her shoulders and holding it in Jamie's rage-filled face.
"That includes Alundra Blayze! That includes Freya and Jessie Lauren! That includes those two glory hogging has-beens Lita and Trish! NONE OF THEM ARE BETTER THAN ME!" the Latin-American roared, receiving an angry reaction of boos from the fans in response, whilst Jamie just shook her head in disbelief at the words spewing out of Melina's mouth.
"Wow... it just dawned on me how delusional you are!" Jamie replied, glaring at the woman, who matched Jamie's angered glare with her own.
"You are an arrogant, egotistical, self-centred brat!" Jamie snapped, making the Texas crowd cheer in agreement and causing Melina to stare at her with wide eyes of rage, shaking her head angrily at Jamie whilst muttering obscenities in Spanish.
"You need to be taught a lesson in humility. And since Tara is apparently not cleared to compete at No Way Out... I'll gladly take her place," Jamie added in a low tone, glaring down at the current Women's Champion, who was seething in barely restrained rage, her chest heaving in anger as she scowled at the redhead.
"The audacity of that woman!" Coachman exclaimed as the fans cheered this on. "Who the hell does she think she is?! She can't just come out here and challenge Melina to a Women's Championship Match?!"
"I think she just did Coach!" Michael replied with an amused smile as Melina scowled at the redhead, who smirked at her.
"Your choice champ! What's it gonna be?" Jamie questioned off the mic, holding her arms out in a carefree manner.
Melina glared darkly at the redhead and raised her microphone to her mouth, but before she could even get a word in, the riffs of "This Fire Burns" blasted throughout the arena, earning a positive reaction from the Corpus Christi fans.
Jamie slowly turned and looked up at the stage with a small frown, whilst Melina glared up at the stage with angry dark eyes, her upper lip pulling up in clear disdain as Jessica walked out onto the stage with a small frown on her face, her fists taped up in white tape with red cross marks on the fists and wearing a black muscle tank top version of CM Punk's latest "Straight Edge Hardcore" T-Shirt, - The one with the playing cards and dices - along with denim jean shorts that was fastened around her waist by a large black strap and black Chuck Taylor boots.
"Jessica gracing us with her presence. And she doesn't look too pleased," Michael noted as Jessica glared down at the ring, shaking her head in what looked to be annoyance as the Texas crowd cheered at her arrival, before walking down the ramp with a purpose.
"She has no business being out here whatsoever!" Coachman retorted as the long-haired woman made her way to the ring.
"Hey now don't be mean Coach. Jessica was incredibly close to beating Melina a few weeks ago," Michael replied as Jessica entered the ringside area.
Jamie and Melina glared at the woman as she proceeded to walk up the steel steps, clearly not amused by her interruption. "In fact, most of the fans believe that if Melina hadn't cheated her way into another victory, Jessica would have beaten her."
"The fans' opinion doesn't matter Cole! And if you believe everything that these so called fans say, then you're just as stupid as they are!" Coachman retorted as Jessica entered the ring and signalled for a microphone.
Jessica paced the ring for a few moments, seemingly thinking over what she had to say as her music cut off, before glaring at the two women in the ring.
"Sorry for the interruption..." Jessica said with a sarcastic drawl in her voice. "I overheard your lil spat, and I couldn't help but come out here and add my two cents cuz I've got something I wanna get off my chest."
Jessica shook her head and leveled Jamie with an annoyed glare.
"I'm sick of you..." she growled whilst pointing a finger at a slightly confused and slightly annoyed Jamie.
"Constantly coming out here and demanding a championship match whenever you feel like it," Jessica growled, running her free hand through her long black hair. "It's gotten to the point where whenever I see you out here, I want to punch you in your stupid face! I mean, who in the hell do you think you are huh?!"
Jamie stared at the angry woman with a small scowl on her face, before raising her microphone to her mouth, the fans and Melina watching the confrontation with interest.
"NO! Shut up! You've had your chance to speak! I'm talking now!" the woman snapped, cutting off the red-haired woman and getting a small 'Oooh!' from the Texas fans in attendance, eating up the heated confrontation.
At this Jamie frowned, narrowing her eyes in anger, but kept her mouth closed, giving Jessica a chance to say what she had to say.
"You have had title shot, after title shot, after title shot at the Women's Championship and you blew it each time! I mean, you faced her on multiple occasions..." Jessica stated whilst pointing at Melina, who watched the exchange between the two intently. "... For that same title throughout the whole of last year and you couldn't get the job done!"
"Hell..." Jessica shook her head, letting loose a small bitter chuckle as she stepped up to the redhead. "You couldn't even beat Tara at WrestleMania last year!"
The fans released a large 'Oooh!' at that verbal jab, whilst Jamie's light hazel-brown eyes darkened in anger, not appreciating what Jessica had to say at all. Meanwhile Melina watched the whole exchange in amusement, chuckling at the angered look on Jamie's face.
"You're treading on very thin ice kid!" Jamie growled out, her comment being caught on the microphone Jessica was holding.
Jessica smirked at the angered look on Jamie's face, finding her anger amusing.
"Oh really? I'm treading on thin ice huh? What exactly are you gonna do about it?" Jessica challenged, making the angry glare on Jamie's face intensify in warning.
"Oh boy..." Michael muttered quietly, watching nervously as Jamie and Jessica glared at one another, the fans watching with keen interest, letting out another 'Ooh!' at Jessica's bold challenge, all greatly amused by the growing tension in the air.
"What? You think just because you used to be a member of Evolution, I should be afraid of you?" Jessica questioned with a mocking smile before scoffing and getting in Jamie's face. "Gimme a break! You don't scare me! You don't even make me sweat!"
The fans watched with rapt attention while Melina released a small grin, watching as the two women stood nose to nose with angered glares on their faces.
"I'm tired of you trying to hog the spotlight with every chance you get and then failing miserably whenever you get a shot at the big one!" Jessica growled, almost towering over the powerful redhead.
"So how about I do you a favour? Save you the trouble of embarrassing yourself, again! Only one person is taking that Women's Championship from this cheatin' hussy...!" The fans cheered as Jessica snapped in Jamie's face, pointing a finger in Melina's direction whilst maintaining eye contact with the Crimson Wolf, both oblivious to the rage filled expression that appeared on Melina's face, glaring heatedly at Jessica.
"...And if it isn't gonna be Tara, then it certainly won't be you! It's gonna be me!" Jessica exclaimed, glaring defiantly into Jamie's hazel-brown eyes as the two women glared at each other, the fans cheering in anticipation, sensing a fight about to break out.
"So you get two choices Red! You either go to the back of the line... Or I make you!" Jessica threatened, making Jamie seethe in silent rage, her light brown eyes darkening in anger as she glared at the young woman, the fans reacting even louder at this as Jessica dropped her microphone hand to the side.
"Oh yeah? Just try it... I dare ya..." Jamie muttered silently as the two began to exchange a silent war of words, glaring heatedly at each other, while a small chant of 'Fight! Fight! Fight!' was heard throughout the arena.
"Things are getting a little heated in there..." Coach observed nervously.
"...Hehehe... Hahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Both Jessica and Jamie slowly turned and glared at Melina, who was now laughing uncontrollably into her microphone, clutching at her sides.
"Oh! Oh god! Y-YOU?!" Melina exclaimed with a huge smirk as she pointed at Jessica, before breaking out into humorous laughter again, making Jessica glare at the woman with a deadpan expression on her face while the fans began to boo.
"Oh wow!" Melina chuckled, wiping a stray tear from her eye with a smile. "You really know how to make a girl laugh! That was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time!"
Her smile dropped slightly when she realised that Jessica's expression had not changed. "Oh... Oh you're serious..."
Melina shook her head at the woman across from her, smirking at the serious look on her face. "You seriously think you can beat me?! The WWE Women's Champion?! Me?!"
Melina chuckled when Jessica nodded.
"W-who are you again?" Melina asked. "Ya know what? It doesn't matter, cuz I'm not gonna waste my time on a nobody like you anyway."
At this Jessica smirked.
"A nobody huh?" Jessica repeated, her smirk widening when Melina nodded with this smug, holier-than-thou grin on her face.
"Funny you say that, yet if I remember correctly... I had you beat two weeks ago!" the black-haired woman retorted, making Melina frown.
"And trust me when I say this Melina... Things would have gone very differently if you had put that title on the line," the Chicago-born Diva said with certainty in her voice, making Melina quirk an eyebrow, smirking in amusement. "Cuz I would have beaten you, and you wouldn't be standing here with that stupid smirk on you face!"
The Corpus Christi fans cheered at the passion Jessica displayed, while Melina continued to smirk at her, finding the woman's words highly amusing.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on a second!"
Jessica frowned as she glared at Melina before turning to face Jamie, who glared at the Chicagoan in clear annoyance.
"What makes you think you can do what me or Tara couldn't?!" the busty redhead questioned as Jessica glared at her in equal annoyance.
"Come on! Tell me!" Jamie demanded, her eyes darkening in rage as she glared at Jessica. "What makes you so special, huh?! Aside from being a smug, annoying lil punk, who runs her mouth constantly and is quite literally, only ever going to be remembered as CM Punk's lil bitch sister!"
Jessica's blue eyes lit up in rage as she glared at Jamie, the crowd letting loose a loud 'OHHH!' at that comment, while Melina laughed, enjoying every minute of the heated confrontation that was taking place in front of her.
"Oh man..." Coachman muttered quietly, shocked by the words that flew out of Jamie's mouth.
Jessica turned away from Jamie and glared heatedly at Melina, who attempted and failed to hide her laughter from behind her hand.
"Come on motormouth! Let's hear it!" Jamie snapped as a small 'Jamie!' chant whispered throughout the arena. She wasn't letting this go until she got an answer.
Jessica looked down at the canvas of the ring, a pissed off look on her face before holding the microphone up to her lips. "Well... you see, Jamie..."
The Texas fans let loose a loud 'Ohhh!' at the sight of Jessica suddenly hitting Jamie in the temple with the microphone, flooring the redhead.
"Oh!" Coachman cried out.
"Oh my goodness!" Cole exclaimed in shock as Jessica stood over Jamie with a dark glare on her face, holding the microphone to her lips.
"How's that for an answer," Jessica retorted, before dropping the mic, glaring down at the redhead who was now laid out on the canvas, favoring her head with a grimace of pain.
"Oh man... Jessica just about drop- OHHH!" Coachman cried out as Melina took advantage of Jessica's distraction and caught her in the back of the head with a painful high kick, receiving a loud 'Ohhh!' from the fans in response, the kick being heard throughout the arena.
"Oh my god!" Michael exclaimed as Jessica dropped to the mat just as Jamie rolled out of the ring - to avoid being fallen on - grasping the back of her head with a grimace of pain. "What a roundhouse kick!"
"Serves her right! You never take your eyes off Melina!" Coach retorted as the crowd booed angrily.
Melina stood tall over Jessica with a sly grin on her face, rising the championship above her head with one hand and holding her free arm out to the side in a cocky manner, making the fans boo louder. "Maybe now, these two will finally learn their lesson. Never disrespect the WWE Women's Champion!"
Michael shook his head at his partner's words, while Melina lowered her arms, a huge smirk on her face as she surveyed the angry crowd. "Are you kidding me?! Melina-"
"EXCUSE ME!"
Melina snapped her head up towards the stage with narrowed eyes as Jessica gingerly rolled out of the ring, the loud shrill voice causing the fans to erupt into an extremely negative reaction, praying that it wasn't who they thought it was.
"Wait a minute..." Cole muttered with a frown.
"Oh please tell me it's her! Please tell me she's back!" Coachman exclaimed in excitement.
The crowd broke out into a massive heel pop when Vickie Guerrero rolled out onto the stage, sat in her wheelchair with a huge smile on her face, with her assistant Theodore Long pushing her along. "Yes! She's here! Vickie Guerrero is back!"
Melina rested the Women's Championship onto her shoulder, watching as Vickie surveyed the overly annoyed crowd.
"I don't understand. Vickie Guerrero was supposed to appear as Edge's guest on the Cutting Edge Show later on tonight. So why is she out here?" Michael questioned in confusion.
"Isn't it obvious Michael?! She's out here to do her job which is run the show! DUH! She IS the General Manager of SmackDown! Why do you ask such stupid questions?!" Coachman retorted, shaking his head at his broadcast partner.
"YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!"
The smile on Vickie's face slowly turned into a look of disgust as Theodore stood behind her with an emotionless frown on his face. "I SAID EXCUSE ME!"
The American Bank Center erupted into a hate-filled reaction as the fans shared their anger and disdain for the appearance of the returning SmackDown General Manager.
"How rude can these people get!" Coachman snapped. "That's our General Manager! How dare they treat her like that!"
Vickie looked down towards the ring, smiling at Melina as both Jessica and Jamie gained their bearings, gingerly standing up and glaring up at the wheelchair-bound woman, seemingly not happy to see her either.
"Melina... I couldn't help but overhear your conversation in the back and I felt the need to clear some things up," Vickie started, getting a confused look from the Women's Champion.
Vickie frowned and sighed.
"I'm sorry Melina, but despite how much I hate Tara..." Vickie growled out, sending the WWE fans a warning glare as another 'You suck!' chant began, causing her lips to twitch in anger.
The wheelchair-bound woman took a deep breath, calming her anger before continuing.
"Despite my personal feelings regarding Tara, and even though Tara isn't cleared and won't be here tonight, I'm afraid that she will be cleared to compete by the time we get to No Way Out," Vickie announced, getting a huge pop from the fans, while Melina stared at the woman in horror.
"Oh no..." Coachman muttered, fearing for Melina's life.
"That means the WWE Women's Championship will still be defended at No Way Out, regardless," the woman added as Melina continued to stare at the wheelchair-bound woman in horror, shaking her head in pure terror at the announcement.
"Oh wow! What an announcement!" Michael exclaimed as the fans excited cheering got louder. "Melina looks absolutely terrified right now!"
"But Melina, I don't know if... it will be you walking into Las Vegas as champion," Vickie said with an emotionless expression on her face, making everyone stare at her in confusion, with Melina being the most confused, her eyebrows creasing in confusion and worry.
"What does she mean by that?" Coachman wondered as Vickie stared at the confused champion, the fans quieting down in curious wonder.
"I'm just as confused as you are," Michael added as the look on Vickie Guerrero's face changed, narrowing her eyes at Melina.
"I may not like Tara, in fact I despise her with every fibre of my being!" Vickie growled. "But what you did last week was deplorable!"
"My first day back, and I already had the McMahons and the Board of Directors breathing down my neck! I had to take responsibility for your actions because you can't seem to keep your emotions in check!" Vickie vented glaring angrily at Melina, who was now glaring at her in return.
"If anyone should be held responsible for your actions it should be William Regal, seeing as you are contracted to Raw! BUT SINCE YOU COMPLETELY LOST IT ON MY SHOW WHILE I WAS AWAY, I TOOK THE FULL BLAME FOR IT!" Vickie screamed down the microphone, glaring at Melina in pure rage. The champion remained silent throughout Vickie's rant, glaring at the General Manager of SmackDown with angry slitted eyes.
"Vickie Guerrero is absolutely incensed here!" Michael exclaimed, the fans watching in confusion, not knowing how to react to Vickie's surprising rant.
"Well... getting kicked in the head by Rey Mysterio and then having to deal with the backlash of Melina's actions on her first day back will put anyone into a foul mood," Coachman replied.
"So now you have to pay the consequences," Vickie snarled, making Melina's eyes narrow.
"So tonight Melina, you will face both Jamie and Jessica in a Triple Threat Match!" Vickie announced, receiving a huge pop in response.
"Oh man! Now that's a match!" Michael exclaimed.
"Man... Melina's gonna have her hands full tonight," Coachman muttered.
Melina closed her eyes and breathed through her nose in an attempt to keep her quickly rising anger from going out of control. Meanwhile, both Jessica and Jamie smirked at the thought of getting their hands on the champion.
"Oh and Melina?" Vickie called out, a smug grin appearing on her face as Melina glared at her with pure rage shining in her eyes.
"That match... is a WWE Women's Championship Match!" the SmackDown General Manager exclaimed, the American Bank Center erupting into an even louder pop at the announcement.
"W-What?!" Coachman cried out in shock.
"Whoa! What a match we've got later on tonight! This is gonna be great!" Michael exclaimed in excitement.
"W-W-Wait a minute! There must be some kind of mistake! M-Melina didn't mean to Vickie! She's sorry!" Coach cried out, but his word fell on deaf ears.
Melina watched with raged filled eyes as Theodore Long and Vickie Guerrero left, scowling in rage as the two disappeared behind the minitron, before glaring at Jessica and Jamie, who both had full blown grins on their faces.
The three women exchanged a war of words as the SmackDown theme song, "Rise Up" by Drowning Pool played throughout the arena, with Melina raising the Women's Championship above her head with one hand, a cold glare directed at a smirking Jessica and a confident Jamie, earning a round of boos from the crowd.
"What a show we have in store for you, the fans, tonight! A Six Man Tag Main Event, The Cutting Edge Show with our returning SmackDown General Manager as the special guest and a WWE Women's Championship Match! I can't even remember the last time the Women's Championship was defended on SmackDown! This is going to be one hell of a night!" Michael exclaimed, bursting with excitement.
"I still can't believe what Vickie has done!" Coachman said, still shocked. "I understand why she's angry, but don't you think making Melina defend her championship in a Triple Threat Match is a bit much?!"
"These fans don't seem to think so! I can't wait to see how Melina will get out of this one! We might find ourselves with a new champion tonight!" Michael replied.
"Don't say that Michael! Melina losing the Women's Championship will be disastrous!" Coachman exclaimed in horror.
. . . .
Later...
Dray sat in a corner of the gorilla position with the World Heavyweight Champion Edge, watching the rest of the show on the monitor in front of them, with the World Heavyweight Championship resting on the blonde haired man's lap. Christina had gone to talk to the women that would be competing in the Triple Threat Match, wanting to go over the match, making sure if everyone involved was ready and to check if they wanted anything to be put over on commentary during the match.
"Man... Vickie looks great tonight!" Dray complimented.
"I know... A lot of people like to poke fun at the way she looks and her figure, but she really is a beautiful woman inside and out," Adam added with a small smile. "I'm happy to be working with her."
The man then directed a grin at the Head Creative Writer for the Divas Division. "So when is this awesome Triple Threat Match coming up?"
"Before the Cutting Edge Show," Dray replied, smirking when the long haired man cursed.
"Damn... I'm gonna be too busy preparing for the show to watch it."
Dray raised an amused eyebrow at this. "The World Heavyweight Champion wants to know what's happening in the Women's Championship picture?"
Adam shrugged.
"Well... since you and Christy took the helm, the Divas Division has gotten really interesting," he commented, before a slightly conflicted expression appeared on his face. "... Some may say too interesting."
Dray leveled the World Heavyweight Champion with a serious, suspicious glare.
"What's that supposed to mean?" he asked, making Adam frown.
"You didn't hear this from me, but apparently not everyone is on-board with this whole women's wrestling uprising thing you've got going on," Adam muttered, making Dray chuckle.
"I ain't worried about that Adam. I know that not everyone is gonna agree with the direction I'm taking the Divas Division in. I'm lucky that Vince even allowed it! I mean... I already know that Big Johnny's got a problem with it," Dray replied.
"But it isn't just John Laurinaitis you've gotta worry about," Adam said, making Dray frown in worry. "I heard rumors saying that the higher ups don't like how Vince is letting you do your own thing. It won't be long before they try to bend the old man's ear and make him change his mind. And if that doesn't work they'll try to sabotage you. I don't want that to happen to you or the girls. They've worked so hard for this."
The dark-skinned young man's frown deepened, before sighing in annoyance. "Just fucking great..."
Adam smiled at the annoyed look on Dray's face, placing a hand on the young man's shoulder.
"Look... Don't worry about it for now. I'm sure you'll think of something when the time comes," Adam said, before standing up.
"Thanks for telling me all of this Adam," Dray said, looking up at the World Heavyweight Champion with a grateful smile.
"You're welcome dude," Adam replied with a grin before leaving Dray alone to think.
. . . .
Later...
Jessica was seen backstage, stretching out her muscles and getting ready for her first big title match since debuting in the WWE.
The young woman was now wearing a black Slayer crop top and was still wearing her white bandage wraps, but was now wearing grey shorts, with four black yellow-trimmed stars printed on the back and front of the shorts, along with black and yellow stripes outlining both sides of her shorts. Jessica also wore a pair of black wrestling boots with grey and black plated kick-pads attached to them, which were decorated with four black yellow-trimmed stars on each boot, surrounded by a yellow decorated outline.
Jessica stopped stretching and frowned as she thought more about her and her brothers careers since debuting in the WWE together in 2006. It only took Phil a few months since debuting to get his first championship opportunity. He didn't win. In fact he was the first to be eliminated in that awful Extreme Rules Elimination Chamber Match that led to Paul Heyman's unfortunate departure.
It's been 2 years since her and Phil made their debut. And since then her entire WWE career up until this point had left her valeting for Phil and competing in random matches on ECW. The fact that it's taken WWE management two years to give her this opportunity left a bad taste in her mouth. It also didn't make her feel any better knowing that during those two years Phil had already claimed his first championship reign as ECW Champion.
"Hey! Jessica!" a voice called out to the black haired woman, bringing her out of her thoughts.
Jessica turned to find Jay walking down the corridor towards her, wearing the same attire she wore the last time she wrestled.
"You ready yet? It's almost time!" the redhead said with a small grin on her face.
"... Yeah, I'm ready. Lets go."
Jay frowned at Jessica's response. "Something wrong?"
Jessica hesitated a little, before smiling and shaking her head. "Nah, everything's fine."
"You sure? Cuz to me you seem a bit annoyed..." Jay questioned, eyeing the younger woman with a raised eyebrow of suspicion, not completely convinced.
"Don't worry about it," Jessica replied with a dismissive wave of her hand, beginning to head off towards the gorilla position. "Lets go. Can't keep the fans waiting now can we."
Jay watched as Jessica walked down the corridor with a concerned frown. Jay was not foolish. She knew that expression very well. She had seen it on many other women during her career in the WWE.
The redhead sighed and followed after the Chicagoan, choosing not to comment on it for now.
. . . .
The Corpus Christi fans broke out into a positive reaction as "This Fire Burns" played throughout the American Bank Center. Jessica walked out onto the stage, hyping up the SmackDown crowd before walking down the ramp way.
"The following contest is a Triple Threat Match! And it is for the WWE Women's Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Chicago, Illinois, Jessica!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Earlier tonight, WWE Women's Champion Melina got into an altercation with former Women's Champion Jamie and Chicago's own spitfire Jessica. And now, due to her actions last week, Melina has to defend the Women's Championship against both women, two weeks before her No Disqualification Match with Tara Stone at No Way Out!" Michael said as Jessica entered the ringside area, walking up the steel steps.
The black-haired woman stood on the apron, hyping up the SmackDown crowd and running her hands across her stomach, gesturing that she was going to be the next Women's Champion, before climbing up onto the turnbuckle, placing her right foot on top of the turnbuckle, whilst resting her left foot on the middle turnbuckle, holding her arms out whilst receiving a good reaction from the fans in attendance.
"This is just a mess Michael! I mean... what happens to the Women's Championship Match at No Way Out if either Jamie or Jessica wins tonight?!" Coachman questioned fearfully as Jessica jumped off the turnbuckle and into the ring, running side-to-side around the ring as she surveyed the crowd, before stepping up onto the corner ropes opposite the time keepers area, standing on the middle ropes as she hyped up the Corpus Christi crowd.
"I guess the winner would take Melina's place and defend the Women's Title against Tara at No Way Out. That is of course if Melina doesn't invoke her rematch clause next week, should she lose tonight!" Michael replied as Jessica's theme music faded into the background, opting to sit on the top turnbuckle, glaring up at the stage and silently waiting for her opponents to make their appearance.
Her glare intensified as "I Walk Alone" played throughout the arena to a huge reaction from the fans. Jamie appeared from behind the minitron to a great reception, smiling as she walked onto the stage. The busty redhead walked halfway down the ramp before performing a machine gun pose, with pyrotechnics going off behind her, ending it with a fist pump into the air.
"And her opponents, first, from Atlanta, Georgia, Jamie!"
After the shock of the pyrotechnics settled down, Jamie walked down the ramp and came to a stop at ringside, the smile on her face turning into a frown as she glared at Jessica, who glared right back at her from where she sat on the turnbuckle.
"Geez, look at those looks," Coachman commented.
"I'm not surprised. These two women are not fond of each other. At least not after what happened earlier tonight," Michael added as Jamie walked up the steel steps and onto the ring apron.
Jamie stepped through the ring ropes and entered the ring, glaring at the black-haired Chicagoan, who sat on the turnbuckle with a glare of her own.
"Err... Normally Jamie would climb up that turnbuckle to hype up the crowd but... Jessica doesn't seem to want to move," Cole noted nervously as the two women glared at each other, the fans watching in anticipation.
"The match hasn't even started yet and already Jessica is causing trouble!" Coach groaned with an annoyed sigh.
"Move it!" Jamie growled, making Jessica smirk mockingly.
"Make me!" she replied, making Jamie growl in irritation while the referee watched the exchange between the two nervously, tensing in anticipation for a fight as Jamie snarled in rage at the smug smirk on Jessica's face.
"Look at the look on Jamie's face! I-I've got a bad feeling about this Michael!" Coachman said with a slight look of fear as Jamie's music faded into silence.
"So do I! These two can't wait to get at each other!" Cole replied.
Before things could escalate into a brawl between the two women, "Paparazzi" blasted throughout the arena, receiving a large negative reaction from the Corpus Christi fans as the red carpet was rolled out, with Melina's personal photographers swarming the stage, eagerly awaiting the Women's Champion.
Jessica and Jamie glared up at the stage as Melina sauntered out from the back of the minitron with a confident smirk on her face, the Women's Title held securely around her waist as she posed dramatically for the flashing cameras to a huge explosion of boos from the crowd.
"And from Los Angeles, California, she is the WWE Women's Champion, Melina!"
"For 109 days Melina has held the Women's Championship. No matter how I feel about the woman that's impressive," Michael commented as Melina sauntered down the ramp with a smirk on her face as her personal photographers swarmed around her, franticly taking pictures of their Paparazzi Princess.
"Of course that's impressive Michael! I mean, she defeated Tara twice! She's beaten Mickie James! She's beaten Candice Michelle! She's beaten Jamie! That's a former member of Evolution! That's a fighting champion right there!" Coachman replied as the Latin American entered the ringside area and walked up the steel steps, smirking at her opponents as she walked across the ring apron, before turning her back on them, whipping her hair and posing for the flashing cameras.
"I wouldn't go that far..." Michael muttered as Melina turned around and smirked at the glares on Jessica and Jamie's faces, unclipping the Women's Title from around her waist and raising it above her with one hand to large boos from the Texas crowd. "Melina has used some very questionable tactics in order to keep the title, and I won't be surprised if she has some sort of underhanded scheme in play for this match too. She's nowhere near close to a fighting champion."
"Like you know what a fighting champion is!" Coachman retorted as Jamie glared at the defending champion, while Jessica stared at the Women's Title, before glaring back at Melina. "Who cares how she did it! She's successfully defended the title at every turn since regaining it back in October. That to me is a fighting champion!"
"Whatever you say..." Michael muttered as Melina did the splits on the ring apron, receiving a few wolf whistles from the males in attendance that was nearly drowned out by the angered boos, and slid into the ring from underneath the bottom ring ropes. Jessica jumped off the turnbuckle she was sitting on, ignoring the referee as he made sure to keep her away from Jamie and Melina.
The Latin American rose to her feet, sending her opponents a condescending smirk, before climbing the nearest corner ropes and raising the Women's Title over her head to a large negative reaction from the Texas crowd.
"I just don't get why Vickie even made this match. I mean... she hates Tara! Out of all the people that would love to see Tara bleeding out in the middle of the ring, Vickie would be the first person to laugh at the sight!" Coachman exclaimed as Melina taunted and riled up the Texas fans.
They're gonna end up causing a riot if she ain't careful... Jay thought with a small grin of amusement that she shared with Jessica as Melina continued to rile up the fans, before they both got back into character for the match.
Melina stepped off the middle ropes as her music faded into the background and handed the Women's Title to the referee.
"I think that Vickie is more angry that she had to take responsibility for Melina's actions, rather than what she did to Tara," Michael commented as the referee went over to Jessica and then Jamie, showing them the title and letting them know what was up for the taking.
"It makes sense when you put it like that," Coachman replied as the referee stood in the middle of the ring, raising the championship high above his head with both hands, letting the audience know what was at stake.
"That's what's up for grabs. The WWE Women's Championship," Michael said as the fans cheered restlessly, waiting for the match to begin. "And either one of these ladies could walk away with the gold!"
Melina smirked at her opponents as the referee handed the Women's Championship over to Justin Roberts.
"None of you stand a chance! None of you!"
Jessica and Jamie glared at the cocky champion as the referee checked to see if the three women were ready to begin, before signalling for the bell to ring.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
As soon as the bell rang, Jessica ran at Melina who immediately slid out of the ring and out of Jessica's reach.
"And Jessica going right after Melina, but the champion wants no part of her!" Michael called out as the fans booed at this.
"What a smart champion Melina is!" Coachman praised as Jessica gripped the ropes, glaring at Melina who smirked up at her. "She knew one of these women were gonna go after her! That's why she slid out of the ring!"
"Get back in here!" Jessica demanded.
Melina just laughed, waving Jessica's demand off dismissively.
"I'm sorry but that's not how it works around here darling. You don't get to tell the champion what to do!" Melina replied, making Jessica scowl in frustration.
Melina's smirk widened as she stared up at the irritated woman. "Oh and I'd turn around if I was you."
Jessica stared at Melina in confusion for a moment, before her eyes widened in realisation. "Oh shit..."
Jessica turned around into a devastating spear, making the fans release a loud 'Ohhh!' at the impact.
"Oh a spear! A spear from Jamie! She almost broke Jessica in half!" Cole exclaimed as Jamie glared down at Jessica, who had wrapped her arms around her gut and curled into herself, groaning in extreme pain.
"You see this is where the lack of experience comes into play. Jessica turned her back on Jamie! You never turn your back on Jamie! Especially when you've made the mistake of ticking her off like Jessica did earlier in the night!" Coachman added as Jamie rose to her feet, dragging Jessica up with her and then threw her through the top and middle ropes and out of the ring, watching as the Chicagoan landed hard on the outside in front of the announce table.
Jamie then turned and leveled Melina with a wolfish glare, causing Melina to take a few steps back, holding her hands up in defence.
"Don't mind me. Continue doing what you're doing," Melina said with a sly grin, making Jamie narrow her hazel-brown eyes at her in suspicion.
"Jamie had better be careful. Melina is a very sly individual," Cole commented as the two women stared at each other, one radiating with arrogance, while the other was tense and on high alert, ready to pounce on the champion at the first sign of movement.
"Well duh! She hasn't held the Women's Championship for 109 days for nothing Michael!" Coachman retorted whilst shaking his head. "Why do you always state the obvious?!"
"I'm watching you!" Jamie growled whilst pointing at the grinning champion, before climbing out of the ring, going after a recovering Jessica.
The crowd got a little rowdier and louder as Jamie stalked towards Jessica, clear rage in her eyes as she stared down at the black haired woman, who was still holding her ribs, trying to get some breath back into her lungs after taking such a devastating spear.
"Jamie, stalking Jessica..." Michael noted.
"You think you can hit me in the face and get away with it huh?!" Jamie growled out, before shoving Jessica roughly with her feet.
"Jessica better be careful- OH! Good grief!" Coachman exclaimed as Jamie grabbed the arm that was covering Jessica's ribs, holding it out so she could deliver a powerful kick to Jessica's chest, making her cry out as a result, flinching away from the angry redhead. "... And I thought Jessica was the only one that could kick a woman into submission. Damn! Jamie ain't a woman to be messed with! Not when she gets like this!"
Both Melina - Who was looking around the ring-post to watch the action and to make sure Jamie didn't notice her - and the fans winced at the violent streak and the power behind the kick.
While Jamie was generally a nice and at most times laid-back person, she wasn't a woman you wanted to piss off.
Jamie scowled down at Jessica before roughly pulling her up onto her feet, slinging Jessica's left arm over her broad shoulder.
"Lets not forget that Jamie was once a member of one of the most dominating factions in histo- Whoa! Look out!" Michael cried out, scrambling out of his seat as Jamie lifted the Chicagoan in a traditional suplex and full on tossed her onto the announce table with a painful thud.
"Holy cow!" Coachman exclaimed as Jessica landed back first onto the broadcast table, an audible 'Ohhh!' resounding throughout the building, the fans and Melina reacting to the power and impact with winces. "T-That is strength! Wow!"
Replays were shown on the titantron of Jamie launching the Straight Edge Diva onto the announce table as Jessica rolled off it, clawing at her back in pain.
"Wow! Once again, Jamie displaying that brutal and ruthless strength!" Cole said in awe as he watched the replays.
"She spends way too much time with Batista!" Coach exclaimed. "Jessica is not a small woman! That is freakish strength!"
Maintaining that cold icy stare, Jamie calmly and slowly walked towards Jessica, watching as she struggled to gain her bearings.
"There is a reason why Jamie earned the moniker, 'The Crimson Wolf!' She's calm most of the time, but she has a very short fuse! When pushed, Jamie will come at you with the ferocity and ruthlessness of a wolf!" Michael commented as Jamie taunted Jessica.
"Come on! Where did all that confidence go huh?" the redhead growled tauntingly, crouching down and balancing on the balls of her feet as a 'Jessica!' chant started up in the American Bank Center. Jamie rose back up, pulling Jessica up with her, only to receive a vicious knee to the face.
"Oh!" Coach exclaimed as Jamie staggered back, holding her jaw.
"Jessica with a surprise knee and now fighting back!" Cole exclaimed as the fans cheered, watching as Jessica pelted Jamie with a series of vicious forearms to the face, rage clear on her face, until Jamie ducked a forearm and speared Jessica back first into the ring apron. "And Jamie takes control again, driving Jessica into the side of the ring!"
Jamie watched with a glare as Jessica collapsed onto the floor, squirming in pain. Jamie's quick movements put a stop to the fans cheering, even causing some of Jessica's diehard fans to boo the Crimson Wolf.
The redhead ignored this and pulled Jessica back onto her feet, rolling the black-haired woman back into the ring and going in after her.
Jamie stayed low to the canvas, an intense expression on her face as she watched Jessica struggle to stand.
"Look at the intense stare in the eyes of Jamie," Michael commented as Jessica struggled to get to a vertical base. "Complete focus."
"Yeah... she's about to rock Jessica's world," Coach added as Jessica finally managed to get back onto her feet, albeit on wobbly legs.
As soon Jessica turned around, Jamie pounced, taking off and blasting Jessica with a huge swinging lariat that knocked her off her feet, making the fans gasp audibly at the destructive power of her swing.
"Oh, my GOD! Jamie going for an early pin attempt and Jessica gets the shoulder up just before the 2 count!" Michael exclaimed as the redhead went for an early cover on Jessica only for the Chicagoan to kick out.
"Man... Jamie nearly took her head off!" Coachman groaned with a wince.
Jamie remained calm, knowing that Jessica won't go down at this stage in the match. Melina knew that too, which is why she never moved from her spot outside the ring, watching the two women very closely.
Jamie pulled Jessica onto her feet and threw her back out of the ring.
"Jamie, throwing Jessica out of the ring- Hey! Wait a minute!" Cole cried out as Melina slid into the ring while Jamie's back was turned.
The fans at ringside tried to warn Jamie, but Melina was faster, taking Jamie off her feet with a surprise school-girl pin attempt from behind. "Melina from behind! Melina looking to steal this one!"
"What a brilliant champion! She was lying in wait! Waiting for her moment to strike!" Coachman praised as the referee began the 3 second count, with Jamie's legs flailing in the air in an attempt to kick out, the fans pleading with Jamie to kick out.
1...
2...
"And Jamie kicks out!" Michael cried out as the redhead used her powerful legs to power out of her predicament.
Jamie rolled onto her hands and knees, glaring angrily at the Latin-American, who froze when she saw the look on Jamie's face.
"Melina finally decided to get involved, tried to get the drop on Jamie, and from the looks of things, that did nothing but tick Jamie off!" Cole noticed as the redhead slowly rose to her feet, a small snarl making its way past her lips as she glowered down at the nervous champion.
"Why is she ticked off?! It's perfectly legal!" Coach said incredulously.
"Well-" Michael was cut off at the sight of Melina hightailing it out of the ring in an attempt to get away from the angry redhead, who was hot on her heels, the fans cheering Jamie on, wanting to see her get her hands on the champion. "Jamie didn't take too kindly to Melina's craftiness and is now chasing her around the ring!"
"Jamie is a sore loser!" Coachman snapped as Melina ran passed the announce table. Jamie didn't get too far past the announce table before she was blasted in the side of her face with a flying knee, the fans reacting with surprise and excitement. "OHHH!"
"Oh my god!" Michael exclaimed as Jamie crumbled to the ground, her eyes glazed over with Jessica kneeling on one knee beside her, scowling down at the crimson-haired woman. "Jessica from out of nowhere!"
"Where in the hell did she come from?!" Coach cried out in surprise as Jessica used the announce table to pull herself up onto her feet, still glaring down at Jamie. "I've... I've gotta get a replay of that!"
As requested the replays were shown. Just as Melina ran passed the announce table, Jessica had used the steel steps to launch herself at Jamie, catching the oblivious redhead in the face with her right knee.
"Goodness! Jessica using the steel steps as a launcher and caught Jamie right in the side of her jaw with a flying knee!" Michael explained as he watched the replay footage.
"Man, Jamie never saw it coming! She was too focused on Melina!" Coachman added as they went back to the present.
Jessica looked away from the dazed redhead and glared at Melina, who was now standing in the ring, staring down the black-haired woman as the fans' cheering began to get louder, sensing a confrontation between the two women about to happen.
Jessica calmly stepped over Jamie and slid into the ring, never taking her eyes off the champion as she stood up, the fans in attendance getting even louder as the two women stared each other down.
"LETS GO JESSICA! LETS GO JESSICA! LET GO JESSICA!"
"Wow... these fans are completely behind Jessica!" Michael said in slight shock as both women surveyed the hyped up crowd.
"I don't exactly know what Jessica has done to warrant such a response but it's happening either way," Coach muttered distastefully.
A smirk appeared on Jessica's face as she looked at the chanting crowd, while a look of disgust appeared on Melina's face.
"You people actually think she can beat me?!" Melina questioned incredulously whilst pointing to herself.
Jessica turned away from the crowd to smirk at the woman, the fans continuing to chant, making Melina chuckle in bitter amusement before running at Jessica who caught the current champion in the abdomen with a powerful spinning back kick.
"Oh, whoa Melina walked right into that one," Michael commented as Melina struggled to stay on her feet from being winded, wrapping her arms around her stomach and hunching over in pain.
Jessica glared at Melina, before connecting with an upward kick to Melina's chest, almost making her stumble back into the ropes. Before Melina could regain her composure, Jessica assaulted the Latin American with a vicious shoot kick to the chest, making Melina cringe in deep agony as the kick echoed off her body and across the arena. "Oh my god did you hear that?!"
"Jesus! No way did- Oh man!" Coachman winced as Jessica battered Melina with three more shoot kicks to the chest, each one making the crowd cringe. "Good grief Jessica! There's no need to beat the woman to death!"
Jessica didn't seem to share Coachman's sentiment, glaring at Melina as she watched the woman struggle to stay standing on her feet, before spinning on the spot, connecting with a spinning back elbow strike to the side of Melina's face, causing the fans to release a collective 'OHHH!' in response to the impact. "Oh my god!"
"Dear god! What a shot!" Cole exclaimed as the stinging shot sent Melina falling backwards through the ropes and out of the ring. "Jessica certainly isn't holding back tonight!"
"I-I hope Melina's alright. I've never seen Jessica hit anyone that hard and with such ruthlessness before!" Coach commented, looking at Jessica with new eyes.
"Well she knows what's at stake Coach! Jessica wants to be WWE Women's Champion! Couple that with the fact that Melina doesn't even see her as competition and with what Jamie said earlier, we've now got a woman that's ticked off and has a lot to prove," Michael said as Melina stumbled onto her feet, holding the left side of her face in pain.
Jessica watched as the Women's Champion stumbled around ringside with a pained expression on her face, dropping to one knee in the entrance way, attempting to steady herself. Jessica narrowed her eyes before running the ropes, causing the fans in attendance to stand up in anticipation. "Uh-oh! I think I know what Jessica is about to do! She's got Melina in her sights!"
"Move Melina! Get out of the way!" Coach cried out as Jessica rebounded off the ropes, running at full speed across the ring.
Melina turned around, only having time to widen her eyes as Jessica shot through the ropes and collided into her, blasting the Latin-American clean off her feet!
"Oh my word!" Cole cried out in astonishment as the two women crashed and burned onto the hard floor, the fans cheering in excitement. "Jessica, risking life and limb for the Women's Championship!"
"Melina needs some help! She's out!" Coachman said worriedly as Melina laid flat on her back, completely still, while Jessica began to recover, rising to her hands and knees.
The black haired woman slowly rose to her feet, stumbling back a little, and was about to grab Melina so that she could get her back in the ring, when a flash of red entered her field of vision before nearly being speared out of her boots! "WHOA!"
"OH MY GOODNESS!" Cole exclaimed in shock as the fans released a loud 'OHHH!' at the sight of Jamie hitting another huge spear on Jessica. "Jamie with a second spear to Jessica!"
"She nearly speared her in half!" Coachman cried out as Jessica laid on her side, groaning in pain whilst wrapping her arms around her stomach and kicking her legs out in agony. "She may have broken a few ribs!"
"What a brutal start to this Women's Title Match!" Cole exclaimed as Jamie rose to her feet to a loud reaction, glaring down at Melina and Jessica as SmackDown went to a commercial break.
Smackdown came back from its commercial break, with Jamie and Melina trading forearms in the middle of the ring, the fans cheering for Jamie and viciously booing Melina.
"Welcome back to Friday Night SmackDown! I'm your host Michael Cole along with my broadcast partner Jonathan Coachman. What a competitive and ruthless Women's Title Match this has been Coach!" Cole said as Melina caught Jamie with a vicious forearm to the face, making Jamie stagger and getting a huge negative reaction from the audience.
"Yeah... I don't know why but the Divas of WWE have been getting more competitive, more ferocious and more dangerous! Quite frankly it's scary Michael! Oh god what a shot!" Coachman exclaimed as Jamie caught Melina with a stiff forearm to the face, making the woman stumble off her feet in a daze and getting cheers from the audience.
Jamie grabbed Melina by her black hair and pulled her up, but Melina kicked Jamie in the abdomen, making the red-haired woman flinch and let go, getting boos from the crowd.
"Kick to the abdomen..." Cole observed as Melina turned her back on Jamie, running the ropes and rebounding right into a huge spinebuster, getting a massive reaction from the fans. "Oh! Spinebuster! Melina got caught!"
Melina held the back of her head in pain as Jamie paused for a moment to catch her breath, before rolling onto the Latin-American for the cover.
"Jamie going for the cover. Can she put Melina away and become a 2-Time Women's Champion?!" Cole said as the referee began the three count.
1...
2...
"NO! Jessica saves it!" Cole exclaimed as Jessica quickly slid into the ring, the fans verbally wincing as she caught Jamie in the face with a low dropkick before the referee could complete the three count.
"Did you see the height and strength behind that spinebuster that Jamie hit Melina with? If it wasn't for Jessica, Jamie might have won!" Coachman said as the three women took a few moments to recover in the ring.
"Well Jamie is the most powerful out of the three. The only women I believe is more powerful than her out of the current roster is Tara Stone and Beth Phoenix," Cole replied as Jessica made it to her feet before the others, making sure to boot Jamie out of the ring before focusing on the defending champion, who was groggily rising to her feet.
Jessica caught Melina in the abdomen with a spinning back kick that caused Melina to hunch over in pain, before throwing her onto her backside with a snapmare. "Jessica with a snapmare- OH MY GOD!"
A collective 'OHHH!' was heard throughout the audience as Jessica connected with a swift kick to the back of Melina's head, the contact vibrating throughout the arena with a resounding smack.
"Jesus Christ that was horrible!" Coach cried out.
"That was nasty! What a nasty, vicious kick!" Cole exclaimed as Melina fell onto her side, gripping the back of her head whilst kicking her legs out, crying out in tremendous pain.
Jessica rolled Melina onto her back, going for a pin attempt. "Jessica, going for the cover..."
1...
2...
"And Melina gets the shoulder up at 2, but that kick to the back of her head has gotta be bothering her," Michael commented as Melina powered out, immediately gripping at the back of her head again, grimacing in pain as Jessica glared down at her.
"Oh it's gotta be. Notice how as soon as Melina kicked out, she went right back to grabbing the back of her head. Melina is in tremendous pain right now," Coach commented as Jessica stood up, grabbing Melina and pulling her up onto her feet.
Jessica pulled Melina towards the nearest corner and scooped her up, hanging her upside down on the ropes.
"Oh no..." Coach muttered, knowing what the Chicago native had in mind, as did the fans as they slower began to get louder.
"Jessica, perhaps looking for Sweet Dreams!" Cole exclaimed as Jessica connected with a swift kick to the abdomen of Melina, just to make sure she didn't try anything, such as pull on her hair while her back was turn, before running towards the opposite turnbuckle. "Here it comes!"
Jessica rebounded off the turnbuckle, sprinting towards Melina, but had to stop in mid sprint, seeing Jamie rushing back into the ring out of the corner of her eye.
"Whoa!" Coachman exclaimed as Jessica ducked another swinging clothesline from the redhead and caught her with a roundhouse kick to the face, receiving a loud 'Ohhh!' from the audience. "Oh! Caught right in the cheek!"
"Jamie's dazed! She's out on her feet!" Cole exclaimed as the Crimson Wolf struggled to stay on her feet, dropping to one knee.
Taking advantage, Jessica scooped Jamie up, hanging her upside down in the Tree of Woe position on the corner ropes opposite Melina.
"Uh-Oh... this doesn't look good..." Coach observed as Jessica stepped away from Jamie until she stood in the middle of the ring, looking between Melina and Jamie with a growing smirk, before surveying the fans that were cheering in anticipation. "This really doesn't look good!"
"Jessica has evil intentions in mind!" Cole exclaimed as Jessica backed up a little more before taking off sprinting at Jamie.
Jessica leaped off her feet, connecting with a dropkick to Jamie's face. "Sweet Dreams!"
"Holy hell!" Coach exclaimed with a wince as he witnessed Jamie's head whip back violently from the impact, a dazed expression on her face as her legs got free of the top ropes and fell lifelessly off the corner. "That's it. Jessica officially has the most brutal corner dropkick in the Divas Division."
"Agreed... and she's not done yet!" Michael replied as Jessica turned her attention to Melina before sprinting at her. "It's Melina's turn!"
"Oh no! I can't watch!" Coach exclaimed, peeking through his fingers as he watched Jessica leap off her feet for a second Sweet Dreams, but to his relief Melina used the ropes to lift herself up and out of the way.
"Melina evaded! Melina escapes the Sweet Dreams!" Cole cried out as the fans cried out in displeasure.
"Phew! That was close! That would have been a disaster if Jessica managed to hit that horrible dropkick on our beautiful Women's Champion!" Coach exclaimed in relief.
Jessica had managed to stop herself before having a nasty collision with the ring post and quickly got to her feet, grabbing Melina -who was trying to turn around- but ended up getting elbowed in the face, sending the Chicago native stumbling back.
"Melina perhaps looking for a high risk manoeuvre here..." Cole observed as Melina managed to turn around on the turnbuckle, kicking Jessica back when she ran at her.
"Yeah but- OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" Coachman cried out in horror as Jessica used her long legs to launch up onto the middle ropes, using it as a mini springboard to catch Melina in the face with her vicious step-up high knee!
"What a knee to the face! What a devastating knee to face!" Michael exclaimed as the fans let loose a loud 'OHHH!' from the impact, the sickening sound of Jessica's knee connecting with Melina's face being heard throughout the arena. "That Shining Wizard Knee! Melina maybe knocked unconscious!"
The knee strike had completely rattled Melina, causing her to recoil backwards, lifelessly lying across the top turnbuckle and ring-post with a wide eyed dazed expression on her face, her arms spread eagled in the air.
"Oh my god..." Coach repeated in horror when he saw the look on her face. "Someone's gotta check on Melina... I don't think she knows where she is right now!"
Jay, who was lying on the canvas on the other side of the ring, waiting for her spot, had seen the whole thing and couldn't help but wince at the impact. Fucking hell Jessica! Don't try to kill the woman!
Jessica took a few seconds to catch her breath and calm her rapidly beating heart, before climbing the middle ropes, grabbing a fist full of Melina's hair and pulling her up. Jessica then climbed up onto the top ropes, slowly rising up to a vertical base, towering over Melina's dazed form as she stood on the ropes.
"This could end badly!" Michael cried out as Jessica forced Melina to look up at her, a scowl on her face, the fans standing in anticipation and cheering restlessly.
"I don't like this! I really don't like this!" Coach exclaimed. "What is that heartless woman gonna do now?!"
Jessica shook her head at Melina, before running her thumb violently across her throat, getting a huge pop from the fans.
"OH NO!" Cole exclaimed as Jessica wrapped her legs around Melina's head, connecting with a huge top rope frankensteiner that sent both women crashing to the mat, igniting a massive reaction from the crowd as their eyes widened in shock and horror at the sight of Melina's head spiking into the mat. "Hurricanrana! OH MY! What a super hurricanrana! Melina was dropped on her head!"
"Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! You heartless-! You lil-! Damn you Jessica! Damn you!" Coach raged in anger as the fans chanted 'HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!'
Jay simply stared in shock as she laid on the mat.
Melina laid lifelessly on the canvas, unmoving and spread eagled, her eyes closed as Jessica quickly crawled into the cover, resting her back on Melina's body whilst hooking both legs, the fans cheering in excitement.
"Jessica, going for the cover! This is it Coach! There's no way Melina's kicking out of that!" Cole exclaimed.
"Shut your mouth!" Coachman snapped.
One!
"Kick out Melina! Kick out!"
Two!
The fans booed viciously as Jamie clobbered Jessica in the face, breaking up the pin attempt. They really wanted Jessica to win in that moment.
"And Jamie breaks up the pin!" Michael cried out.
"Thank god!" Coach exclaimed. "Thank you Jamie!"
Jamie quickly rose to her feet, grabbing Jessica and throwing her out of the ring before going for the cover on a motionless Melina.
"And now Jamie with a sense of urgency, throwing Jessica out of the ring and going for the cover! Jamie's gonna steal the Women's Championship!" Cole cried out as Jamie yelled desperately at the official, telling him to count faster as the fans booed in anger.
"That conniving little furball! I take it back! Screw you Jamie!" Coach yelled in anger as the referee counted the pin.
One!
"Nooo! NOOOO!"
Two!
Th-
"We have a- WHAT?! OH MY GOD!" Michael exclaimed as Melina somehow sprung back to life, emphatically kicking out on instinct alone, causing the fans to release a huge pop out of surprise, while Jamie's eyes widened in shock.
"Yes! YES! SHE LIVES!" Coach cheered as the Crimson Wolf fell back, holding her head in her hands with a look of disbelief and frustration.
"H-How?!" was all Michael Cole could say, staring in shock. He was so sure that after that brutal hurricanrana, Melina would be done.
"What do you mean how?!" Coachman questioned. "I told you already! Melina is a fighting champion!"
Jamie laid on her back, hitting the mat in frustration. She couldn't believe it! Melina has never been this tough to beat! The fact that she had taken a knee to the face, and was then dumped on her head with a super hurricanrana, yet still seemed conscious enough to kick out left the Crimson Wolf floored. She was shocked, frustrated and angry... Unbelievably angry!
"Frustrations starting to set in for Jamie," Cole observed. " Melina has really surprised me Coach! She is showing some grit here tonight!"
"How is that surprising?!" Coach questioned incredulously. "Melina has always been a determined champion! You're gonna need to do more than drop Melina on her head if you wanna take the Women's Title away from her!"
Jamie sat up and glared at Melina's still form, a dark scowl appearing on the redhead's face as frustration, desperation and anger began to boil deep within her. Jamie gingerly rose to her feet as the fans let loose a massive reaction of excitement.
"Wow!" Coach exclaimed as the reaction got tremendously louder, causing Jamie to look over the crowd with a hint of shock at the massive reaction, before glaring back at Melina, shaking her head at the Latin-American in frustration.
"Listen to this place!" Cole cried out. "These fans are going crazy!"
The Crimson Wolf grabbed a fist full of Melina's black locks, dragging her into the middle of the ring.
"Melina is still out of it..." Coach observed with worry as Jamie forcefully pulled Melina's dead weight up and onto her feet, the Latina's arms hanging lifelessly as Jamie glowered down at her.
"Jamie smells blood! Melina is in a vulnerable state and now, like a hungry wolf towering over its prey, Jamie is about to pounce!" Michael exclaimed as Jamie grabbed two large fists full of Melina's hair and pulled her up to a vertical base.
Jamie snarled angrily in Melina's face, who was only half aware of what was going on around her, an almost lifeless expression on her face, having not yet gained her bearings.
"You're done for! You hear me Melina! It's over!" Jamie snapped whilst violently shaking the barely conscious Latin-American as the fans watched on in excitement. "I'm walking into WrestleMania champion! Not you! ME!"
"Jamie, talking trash at the champion!" Cole observed.
"At least we know what her motivations are. Jamie wants another WrestleMania moment as the champion. Can't help but admire her desire to be at the top," Coach commented as Jamie pulled Melina into a powerbomb position. "Oh no... That is not good!"
"Jamie, signalling for the Batista Bomb!" Cole said as Jamie held her arms out to the side with her thumbs up, before bringing her thumbs down, getting a loud mixed reaction... The fans really, really wanted Jessica to come out on top. That super hurricanrana really got her a lot of attention.
"Do something Melina!" Coach yelled out desperately as Jamie prepared to lift the defending champion up for the Batista Bomb, when the fans suddenly popped hard. All Jamie saw was a flash of black in the corner of her left eye, before being dropkicked off her feet courtesy of Jessica.
"OH MY WORD!" Cole exclaimed as Jamie was blown off her feet, completely rocked.
"Whoa! Did you see that?!" Coach cried out in equal surprise as all three women laid in the ring, completely exhausted.
"Jessica came out of nowhere! Jamie was looking for the Batista Bomb when Jessica flew like a rocket, taking Jamie out with a springboard missile dropkick!" Cole exclaimed as replays were shown of Jessica jumping up onto the top ropes, using it to launch herself at Jamie and caught her in the cheek with a huge pinpoint missile dropkick.
"Oh my gosh! She caught her right in the side of her face! Jamie didn't know what hit her until it was too late!" Coach added.
Jessica used the ropes to pull herself up onto her feet, a fired up look on her face as the fans cheered loudly, turning up the volume when Jessica spread her arms out with a passionate yell.
"This place has gone insane! The fans in attendance can feel the end coming!" Cole yelled over the roar of the crowd.
"Wake up Melina! Wake up now!" Coach cried out urgently as Jessica signalled for the Go To Sleep to a large reaction, eyes zeroed in on Jamie, who staggered onto her feet with a dazed look on her face, favouring the left side of her face.
"Jessica, signalling for the GTS!" Cole exclaimed. "She's going for the home run!"
"GET UP MELINA! GET UP!" Coach screamed in desperation.
The crowd popped when Jessica lifted Jamie onto her shoulders.
"Jamie's up on Jessica's shoulders! We're about to see a new Women's Champion!" Cole yelled over the roar of the crowd.
"NONONONONONONO!" Coach cried out.
The American Bank Center exploded when Jessica hit the GTS, smashing her left knee into Jamie's face.
"GTS! SHE HIT IT! JESSICA HIT THE GO TO SLEEP!" Cole cried out in excitement, the fans up on their feet, Jamie crumbling to the mat, having been completely knocked unconscious by the Punk Knee.
"NOOOOO!" Coach cried out in despair as the fans popped enthusiastically.
"Jessica is about to make her way into the history books!" Cole exclaimed as Jessica fell into the cover.
ONE!
"NOOO! NOT LIKE THIS! NOT LIKE THIS!" Coach screamed in fear.
TWO!
"SHE'S GONNA DO IT! JESSICA'S GONNA-" Cole was cut off as Jessica was suddenly grabbed from behind, being violently ripped off Jamie by her hair and forced to stand up. "Wait a minute! Melina from behind!"
"YES!" Coachman exclaimed.
The fans booed in extreme anger as Melina pulled Jessica back with a look of rage, before dropping her left leg across the head of Jessica, smashing the back of the Chicagoan's head against the canvas.
"The Primal Scream!" Cole cried out as the referee went to count the pin. Melina, too tired to go for her usual showboating split-legged pin, tiredly draped her body over Jessica's form.
One!
Two!
Three!
"Melina retains! Melina is still the champion!" Melina rolled off Jessica, completely exhausted as "Paparazzi" played throughout the arena with the fans booing in outrage.
The champion blinked rapidly, still feeling the effects of Jessica and Jamie's onslaught, before sitting up, leveling the Chicago native with a dark snarl. She gingerly rose to her feet with a grimace, demanding the referee to hand over her title with a dangerous glare, snatching it away from him when he collected it for her.
"Here's your winner, and still WWE Women's Champion, Melina!"
"Oh thank the lord! Melina is still champion! Everything is right in the world!" Coach stated in happiness and relief as Melina raised the title while the referee raised her hand in victory, scowling at the fans as they booed in anger.
Melina violently pulled away from the referee, giving him an irritated glare, before raising the title defiantly over her head as the crowd responded with hate, the Latin-American standing tall over Jessica and Jamie.
Melina grimaced in pain as she lowered the title with a huff, the lingering effects of the match still bothering her, before harshly kicking Jessica out of the ring for good measure, just to add salt into the wound and piss off the fans a little more.
"Well... Melina remains the champion, but it was obvious who the fans were rooting for tonight! In their eyes Jessica was just robbed!" Cole said as Melina climbed up onto the corner ropes, raising the Women's Title above her head to a loud negative reaction.
"Are you kidding me?! Jessica wasn't robbed! Melina is just smarter and better. Anyone else that thinks differently is an idiot!" Coach replied.
"You can't sit there and tell me that you didn't think Jessica had this match won at one point! You thought she was gonna walk away with the Women's Title just as much as I did!" Cole exclaimed as Melina jumped off the middle ropes, a smirk starting to tug at her lips as Corpus Christi continued to boo her in anger.
"It was an error in judgement! But that doesn't matter! What matters is that Melina is still the champion! Everyone can go home happy!" Coach snapped as Melina climbed up onto the middle corner ropes opposite the timekeepers area, raising the Women's Title with one hand and egging on the fans with a devious grin on her face.
"I don't think anyone is gonna be going home happy-"
Bong...
The lights went out, the familiar bell toll igniting a monstrous pop, the American Bank Center shaking as the fans let loose a loud roar of shock and excitement.
Bong...
When the lights came back on, Melina was still stood on the middle ropes, but now she was looking over her shoulder with a look of complete shock and horror, staring into the angry gold eyes of the black-haired lioness who was standing on the other side of the ring, burning a hole through the Latina's back.
"OH MY GOD!" Cole exclaimed in shock, the entire arena being overcome by passionate loud screams and cheers from every single fan in the arena.
"W-W-W-WHAAAAAAAT?!" Coachman screamed out in fear.
"IT'S TARA STONE!" Cole cried out as Tara, in full ring attire, leveled the completely frozen champion with a dark rage-filled glare, very noticeable stitching above her left eyebrow. "TARA IS HERE! IT IS THUNDEROUS INSIDE THE AMERICAN BANK CENTER!"
"SHE'S NOT SUPPOSE TO BE HERE!" Coach shouted.
Melina's shocked and terrified look slowly turned into a villainous rage-filled glare as the two women stared each other down. "RUN MELINA! GET OUTTA HERE!"
Melina shook her head with a snarl.
"You stupid stubborn bitch..." the champion whispered harshly before jumping off the turnbuckle. As soon Melina moved, Tara struck, shooting across the ring and booting Melina in the face before she even took a step, the Women's Title flying out of the Latin-American's grasp.
"And Tara catches Melina in the face with a huge boot to the jaw!" Cole exclaimed, the fans cheering as Melina stumbled to her feet.
"No! This is bad! This is really bad!" Coachman despaired as Tara stalked the dazed champion. "We need some security out here! We need officials! The cops! THE ARMY! Anything that will restrain that mad woman!"
"Come on Coach!" Cole exclaimed as Tara grabbed the champion and threw her out of the ring. "Melina brought this on herself! She viciously assaulted Tara! Tried to take her out permanently! You can't say she doesn't deserve this!"
Tara calmly exited the ring as Melina stumbled onto her feet, jumping off the apron. Melina stumbled away from Tara, title forgotten in her haste to get away from the angry veteran, and made an attempt to climb over the barricade but was thwarted by the Princess of Darkness, who grabbed Melina by the hair and pulled her off the barricade wall, much to the fans pleasure.
"Melina doesn't deserve this!" Coachman yelled, wincing as Tara smashed Melina's skull against the ring-post. "We need some help out here! Tara's gonna kill Melina!"
Melina stumbled away from Tara, who quickly caught up to her, grabbing the fleeing woman by the hair and smashing her face against the ring apron. Melina crumbled to the floor as Tara stood over her with a dark scowl, before grabbing a fist full of Melina's hair and methodically pulled the weakened champion to her feet. "Melina can barely fight back! She just went through a gruelling Triple Threat Match with Jamie and Jessica! Tara is a vulture!"
Tara, not caring about Melina's weakened state, continued her assault, launching the Latin-American into the barricade wall of the timekeepers area, the fans wincing at the sickening thud as Melina collided back first and upside down into the barricade.
"What a thud! Tara launching Melina into the barricade wall!" Cole commented as Tara loomed over Melina, who was lying on her front, struggling to even lift her body off the floor.
Tara grabbed a fist full of Melina's long black locks, forcing her to stand as she dragged Melina towards the announce table. "Uh-oh... We may wanna get outta here Coach."
"Oh! Man!" Coach winced as Tara ferociously bounced Melina's head off the announce table, the fans cheering on Tara as Melina laid her head against the table, staring up at the angry lioness with glazed over wide eyes. "Seriously! Where is the security?! We need to get Tara away from Melina!"
Tara grabbed a hold of Melina's hair, raining down vicious, stiff shots to the current champion's face.
"Tara, firing away at the champion!" Cole exclaimed as the fans cheered Tara on.
"Finally!" Coach yelled out in relief as multiple referees ran down the ramp-way to a collection of boos from the crowd. "About time these guys showed up!"
The officials rushed to the other side of the squared circle just as Tara violently threw Melina into the side of the ring, making Melina cry out in pain as she collided right-arm first into the side of the ring. The officials tried to get close, but Tara was having none on it.
The tall woman snarled thickly, advancing threateningly towards any officials that got too close for her liking, her bright gold eyes blazing with rage.
"If I was the officials, I'd stay the hell away from Tara!" Michael said out of fear, gulping when he saw the dark look she gave the referees as she wordlessly scared them off. "She's in that dark and twisted zone right now! And it's all thanks to Melina!"
"Quiet Cole! You're making it worse!" Coach cried out, fearing for the current champion's wellbeing as the angry Lioness turned her unnatural bright gold eyes back onto the source of her wrath, who was trying to stumble away, holding her right arm with a grimace of pain.
Tara grabbed Melina by her long black locks, making Melina's eyes widen in fear as she heard an inhuman growl rumble from Tara's chest, the Princess of Death Valley ragging the Paparazzi Princess to her feet with a sinister scowl.
"Look out!" Michael cried out, scrambling out of his seat as Tara full on threw Melina over the announce table, making her tumble over it and disappear behind it, the fans going crazy at the sight. "Tara just threw Melina over our announce table! Oh my god!"
"Are you okay down there Melina?" Coach asked worriedly as the woman laid prone in front of him. Melina didn't respond. Just lifted her left hand and gripped the table. Hard.
Tara glared at where she threw Melina with dark rage-filled eyes as the fans cheered this on, hoping for more violence, chants of 'TARA! TARA! TARA!' reverberating ominously throughout the American Bank Center.
Tara turned her angry gaze on the officials that were fussing at her, making them gulp in fear. "Man... remind me not to tick off Tara, Cole."
"Duly noted," Michael replied.
"Tara can be a scar-" Cole was cut off by Melina scrambling up onto the announce table while Tara was busy drilling a hole through the infuriating officials, standing up on the announce table with a pissed off expression on her face, the fans cheering at the thought of more violence. "W-What is Melina doing?!"
"That is not good! That is not good! Get down from there Melina!" Coach pleaded. Tara turned around on instinct, just in time to see Melina run across the table and launch herself through the air, colliding with the tall woman and taking her down to the ground. "Whoa!"
"Oh my goodness! Melina taking out the challenger for the WWE Women's Championship in two weeks!" Cole exclaimed as the fans continued to cheer and cry out at the brawl between the two women.
Melina rolled onto her knees, scowling thickly and ignoring the officials as she glared at a recovering Tara. Melina rose to her feet, her anger boiling as she glared down at Tara. Melina grabbed the tall woman, pulling her roughly to her feet and launching her ruthlessly into the barricade, much to the fans and the referees' anguish. "These two women can't stand each other!"
"You think you can attack me and get away with it!" Melina snarled as Tara willed her body off the ground, before Melina kicked her rather harshly in the ribs, the fans starting to boo as they realised that Melina was beginning to take control of the situation.
"Shut up!" Melina snapped at the referees as they pleaded with her to go to the back and leave Tara alone. In fact Melina did the exact opposite, forcing the tattooed woman to her feet, the officials pleading with her to stop, but Melina just ignored them.
"Watch out! Move outta the way people!" Coach warned as Melina ran at the far end of the barricade, launching Tara into it for a second time, causing the black walls to move back a few inches as Tara slammed into the side of it, causing the fans to react with a loud 'Ohhh!' at the impact. "Oh man!"
Melina snarled down at Tara, her eyes wild with rage as Tara groaned in pain, before grabbing a fist full of the woman's long black hair and dragging her along with her.
"You want me to destroy you?! Fine! Consider this your last night before going to hell!" Melina snarled darkly as she began to drag Tara by her hair up the aisle.
"Oh boy... why do I have a feeling this is gonna end badly for one of these ladies Cole?" Coach muttered in fear, wincing as Melina bashed Tara's skull off the diamond plate of the ramp, the fans also wincing at the sound and impact.
"Cuz it is Coachman!" Cole said as Melina towered over Tara, raining down shots to her face in rage. "Do you not see the rage in both of these women's eyes?! If either woman have their way, one of them won't be making to No Way Out!"
The more Melina punched at Tara, the more pissed off she got. She wanted Tara to disappear. WWE didn't need her anymore anyway. Rage taking over, Melina resorted to bashing the back of Tara's head against the diamond plate, making the WWE fans wince, fearing that Tara might get a concussion and making them boo angrily.
The officials finally had enough sense to try and pry Melina away from the black-haired woman, but the champion wouldn't budge, her anger completely taking over and causing her to shove them angrily away from her.
"Why. Won't. You. Just. LEAVE. ME. ALONE?!" Melina roared, repeatedly bashing the back of Tara's head against the steel, eyes wide with rage. "JUST DIE ALREADY!"
"Melina has lost it! She's gone completely off the deep end!" Michael exclaimed, horrified by the ruthlessness that Melina was displaying to the world, watching as the woman let loose piercing screams of rage whilst continuing to assault the challenger for her title.
"Can you blame her?! Tara has tormented her endlessly! This happened last week and it was bound to happen again tonight! Tara should never have appeared!" Coach exclaimed.
Tara's hand suddenly snapped out and wrapped around Melina's throat, causing the fans to cheer in excitement and making Melina freeze, her eyes wide with fear.
"Oh no! That's not good!" Coach exclaimed as Tara sat up and rose to her feet, her hand still wrapped tightly around Melina's neck with a dark snarl on her face.
"Tara has her! Melina may have just regretted not running or staying down when she had the chance!" Michael cried out, but Melina, being as sly and cunning as she was, kicked Tara in the gut, making the black-haired woman release the tight grip she had on her throat.
Melina rocked Tara with angry forearms to the face, before Tara caught her underneath the chin with a jaw jacking uppercut that sent the champion reeling back, the fans reacting with winces. "Oh what a shot!"
Melina stumbled up the ramp and away from Tara who quickly gave chase, firing away with another vicious uppercut that made Melina nearly stumble off her feet.
"I don't like this Cole!" Coach commented in fear as Tara rocked Melina with another uppercut, this time rocking Melina with enough force to knock her off her feet, more chants of 'Tara! Tara! Tara!' being heard throughout the arena as said woman mercilessly hunted the champion. "I got a very bad feeling about this Cole!"
"Yeah, so do I!" Cole replied as Melina tried desperately to get away from the angry Lioness, shuffling away whilst staring up at the gold eyed woman with a look of fear on her face. She didn't care which way she went at this point. As long as it got her away from this mad woman she didn't care!
"S-Stop!" Melina cried out in fear as Tara advanced towards her. "Stop! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
The fans booed as Melina pleaded loudly for the Princess of Darkness to stop. Tara snarled at this, her gold eyes darkening in rage.
"Melina, resorting to begging now!" Cole noted with distaste.
"That ain't gonna work Melina! Just run! Run for life!" Coach cried out in fear as the killer look on Tara's face intensified.
Melina hastily rolled to the right when Tara aimed to kick her head off, stumbling to her feet with wide eyes of fear, backing fearfully away with her arms stretched out in front of her as Tara advanced towards her, that killer look still on her face.
"WHOA! WHOA! E-EASY! C-C-CALM DOWN!" Melina stuttered in fear as a loud chant of 'Tara's Gonna Kill You!' was heard throughout the arena. "I-I'M SORRY OKAY!"
Melina looked behind briefly, gulping when she realized she was nearly close to the edge of the stage. She could see a wooden table placed at the foot of the stage below. Realizing her predicament, Melina turned around, staring nervously at the angry woman.
"Melina's trapped! She's got nowhere to run!" Cole said.
"This is getting dangerous Cole! Something bad is about to happen! I can feel it!" Coach exclaimed as Melina continued to hold her arms up in defence.
"Please... don't do this..." Melina pleaded, a nervous smile appearing on her lips as the chants got louder. "L-lets wait till Sunday okay. Let's wait and then we'll settle this in Las Vegas kay? N-no need to jump the gun right?"
Tara stared at Melina with a neutral expression on her face, though her gold eyes was still dark with rage. And then they turned dark amber as Tara suddenly scowled thickly in outrage.
Melina's eyes widened as Tara's hand wrapped around her neck, getting a choked sob out of her as the fans cheered.
"Oh no!" Cole cried out as Melina clawed desperately at Tara's snake-like grip.
"What are those officials doing?! Get up there and stop her!" Coach yelled as the officials watched the fight from the bottom of the ramp with fear in their eyes. They were going nowhere near Tara. Not when she was this angry!
Melina choked out a gasp as Tara's blazing gold eyes drilled through her, glowing with malice intent, before doing the only thing she could think of at the moment.
The fans let loose a loud 'Ohhh!' before booing in outrage as Melina kicked Tara in the nether regions, making the Lioness release the champion instantly, gasping in pain as she crumbled to the floor.
"Oh! A low blow!" Cole cried out as Melina leaned forward, coughing violently as she tried desperately to get some air back into her lungs.
"Run Melina! Get outta here while you have the chance!" Coach cried out.
Melina took a few deep breaths, slowly turning to snarl at Tara with a livid scowl on her face, before grabbing a fist full of Tara's hair, ragging the taller woman up to her feet and launching her harshly into the minitron.
"Oh! My goodness!" Cole exclaimed as the fans in attendance let loose a loud 'Ohhh!' at the impact.
Melina breathed heavily through her nostrils, her chest heaving in anger as she snarled at Tara in rage, who was struggling to stand.
"This is your chance Melina! Run!" Coachman yelled out as Melina glared at her No Way Out opponent, ignoring the officials that had finally worked up enough courage to run up the ramp, demanding Melina to back away from Tara.
"I don't think Melina has any intention of running away. Not with that killer look in her eyes..." Michael observed nervously as Tara stood on wobbly legs.
As soon as Melina caught a glimpse of Tara's striking gold eyes, she snapped.
Melina pounced on Tara, punching furiously away at her with raged filled screams, the fans booing as Melina assaulted their heroine relentlessly. "Oh Melina! She's gone insane!"
"This is all Tara's fault! Tara did this to her!" Coach snapped in anger as the officials tried desperately to pull Melina away.
"How can you say that?!" Cole exclaimed.
"Tell me I'm wrong?!"
"I..."
"Exactly!" Coach snapped as Melina shoved the officials roughly away, viciously punching at Tara with rapid fire erratic shots, not even caring when Tara sunk to the floor in a desperate attempt to protect herself from Melina's hate-filled assault. "Tara brought this side of Melina out and now she's paying for it!"
Melina got in a few more hits, before the officials managed to drag her away, the Latin-American kicking and screaming at Tara's prone form as they pulled her away, allowing the rest of the men to check on the clearly in pain Lioness.
"Finally, the officials managing to get Melina away from Tara..." Cole observed as Tara struggled to lift her body of the ground.
"She's just lucky Melina didn't have a chair this time..." Coach retorted.
Melina scowled at Tara's form, before shoving the men that held her roughly away. "GET OFF ME!"
Melina glared at them before glaring back at the scene before her, watching as the officials fussed over Tara.
The champion scowled thickly as a huge 'TARA!' chant was heard throughout the arena, slowly beginning to back away from the scene unnoticed by the officials, before turning around and stomping down the ramp.
Melina walked around the squared circle with a purpose, ignoring the fans that spat hatred at her and collected her title that laid untouched near the apron of the ring, where she had dropped it when Tara had booted her in the face.
Melina stared down at her championship before glaring up at where the officials were still dealing with a shaken Tara, who was how on her hands and knees, causing Melina's eyes to burn with rage at the very sight of the woman.
Melina stomped towards the timekeepers area, sending alarm bells ringing to anyone who was smart enough to keep an eye on the clearly unstable champion.
"Uh... why is Melina heading this way..." Cole noticed, getting extremely nervous when he saw the dark look in her eyes.
"MOVE IT!" Melina roared, shoving Justin Roberts roughly off the black steel chair he was sitting on and picking it up, folding it with an audible snap.
"T-That is not good..." Michael stuttered as a near crazed dark smirk appeared on Melina's face as she stared at the foreign object. "That is really not good! The officials need to get Tara the hell outta here!"
"I don't think that's gonna do much good!" Coach squeaked in fear at the insane expression on the usually stable champion's face. "Melina's not in the right frame of mind right now! She's seeing red!"
Melina sauntered around the ring, her smirk getting wider and wider until it began to make even the fans nervous, causing them to shout out warnings to Tara who was still out of it, stumbling off her feet.
"Tara is in deep, deep danger! And she doesn't realise it!" Cole cried out as Melina stalked up the ramp, her dark eyes zeroed in on Tara.
"Well she's about to! Melina's going to finish what she started!" Coach exclaimed as Melina reached the stage, sending the officials into freak-out mode when they noticed the chair in her hand.
Melina ignored the officials, slowly sauntering towards Tara, who was on her hands and knees near the edge of the stage. Melina's smirk widened into a malicious grin as she loomed over the Princess of Death Valley, letting the steel chair rest against her leg.
Melina grabbed a fist full of Tara's long black hair, pulling the tattooed woman up so that she was looking up at her with glazed over gold orbs.
Melina held the Women's Championship up at eye level, staring at her prized possession for a few moments before staring down at her No Way Out opponent with a huge villainous grin.
"This is what you want right Tara?" Melina snarled whilst pressing the title against Tara's face. "Sorry, but this is as close as you're ever going to get to my championship! In fact..."
A crazed gleam shone in Melina's eyes as she smiled down at her vulnerable opponent, her entire posture radiating malice intent, leaning forward so that she was inches away from Tara's face. "This will be the last time you ever appear in a WWE arena again. I'm going to destroy you once and for all!"
With that Melina leaned back up to a vertical base, dropping her title and picking up the steel chair that was resting against her leg. Both the officials and the fans eyes widened in sheer terror as Melina rested the steel chair on top of Tara's head, alarm bells ringing in their heads at the terrifying expression on the champion's face.
"Oh no... Melina, you gotta think about this!" Coach warned, eyes wide in equal terror to everyone else.
"Someone's gotta step in! Someone has to stop this woman! She's going too far!" Cole cried out. The fans went into overdrive, screaming out in pure fear when Melina raised the chair over her head, ignoring the desperate pleads from the officials that surrounded the two. "NOOO!"
A gloved hand suddenly snapped out, wrapping around the neck of Melina, making her eyes widen in shock and fear, the steel chair slipping out of her fingers and dropping to the cold hard ground behind her.
"Oh my god!" Cole exclaimed, the fans releasing a huge cry of relief as Tara shot to her feet, her gold eyes blazing in fury as she glared down at the shocked champion.
"Oh no!" Coach cried out.
"Tara! She's got a- OH MY GOD!" Cole screamed as Tara lifted Melina high into the air, chokeslamming her off the stage!
"NOOO!" Coach exclaimed in horror as Melina crashed through the table below, splinters of wood going everywhere. The fans released a huge pop out of sheer shock and excitement, their eyes nearly popping out of their skulls at what they just witnessed.
"WHAT DID WE JUST SEE?!" Cole cried out as Tara stared down at the current champion with a thick scowl as a huge chant of 'HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!' rocked the American Bank Center. "TARA JUST DESTROYED THE CHAMPION!"
"NO, NO, NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!" Coach cried out over the excited roars of the crowd.
Tara stared down at Melina, silently watching as the referees rushed to the smaller women's aid, their eyes wide with horror as Melina laid still in the wreckage of the broken table, her long black hair spilled over her face.
Tara then looked away from Melina, staring down at the title that laid beside her. The Princess of Death Valley picked up the championship, studying the detailed design on the plates that decorated the strap, before falling into her trademark pose, dropping to one knee and raising the title slowly into the air whilst rolling her eyes back and sticking her tongue out to a massive pop from her home-state of Texas.
"Message sent!" Cole exclaimed as "Rest in Peace" played throughout the arena, causing the fans to cheer louder as Tara rested the arm that was holding the Women's Championship on her knee, a dark glare on her face as she watched the officials attempt to get the unconscious champion out of the wreckage without causing any more harm to her. "Tara has only one goal in mind! And that is to become a 3-Time Women's Champion!"
Tara rose to her feet, dropping the title on Melina as the fans continued to roar out in excitement, the tall, gothic woman glaring down at the Latin-American with no remorse, watching as the officials worked to get Melina out of the wreckage and to the trainers room.
"There's gonna be a war in Las Vegas between these two women! All hell is gonna break loose! I can hardly wait!"
Wednesday February 6th, 2008: Dallas, Texas - Evening
Roxanna stood over the bed of a small black-haired girl, who was sleeping peacefully inside her bed, with Roxanna softly fixing the little girl's bangs so that they weren't resting on her face.
An affectionate smile graced the face of the young veteran as she watched her daughter rest peacefully. Roxanna had arrived home from Houston in the early morning after filming night 2 of SmackDown. Seeing Faith's shocked beaming smile and the way her big gold eyes - inherited from yours truly - sparkled at the sight of her mother making breakfast at nine in the morning, still almost brought a tear to the eyes of the mother of two.
It broke Roxanna's heart, knowing that she'll only be able to spend time with her family for a couple of days before flying out to Guatemala. She couldn't help the stab of pain that creeped up on her, feeling as though she was somehow neglecting her role as a mother by not being around enough.
Despite her troubled thoughts, Roxanna has been in the industry long enough to get used to the demanding schedule by now. She just hoped that her lack of presence didn't affect Faith or Rocky negatively as they grew into their teenage years.
She couldn't wait for that mess of emotions.
Roxanna bent down and affectionately kissed the forehead of her 8 year old daughter, getting a cute little mumble in response as the little girl shifted in her sleep, a small smile appearing on her face at the reassuring touch of her mother.
Roxanna rose to her feet and exited the room, looking back to smile faintly at her sleeping ball of energy.
"G' night my lil angel," she whispered before closing the door quietly. The black-haired beauty walked silently down the corridor, before coming to a stop at another room. Roxanna carefully opened the door to a medium sized bedroom, dimly lit by the lampshade hanging off the ceiling, painting it and the walls with stars and constellations.
Roxanna raised an eyebrow at the black cat sleeping on the windowsill of the room, before shaking her head and walking towards the wooden cot that was just underneath the lampshade, peering inside it and smiling when a pair of innocent brown eyes stared back at her.
"Ain't you supposed to be asleep lil' one?" Roxanna questioned in amusement. The small 1 year old boy made a sound of excitement at the sight of his mother, holding his arms out towards her with a huge smile.
Roxanna chuckled and picked up the little boy, holding him gently against her bosom. "Did ya miss me Rocky?"
Roxanna took a seat in a wooden rocking chair, smiling as the little boy babbled excitedly. The twenty-nine year old hummed softly, an old Texan lullaby that her grandmother used to sing to soothe her and put her to sleep during the night.
Eventually Rocky drifted into a calm slumber, making Roxanna smile faintly before standing up, placing the baby boy carefully back in his cot. She then tiptoed towards the door, opening it silently.
Before leaving, Roxanna turned towards the windowsill, finding herself being stared down by a pair of glowing eyes. Roxanna's gold eyes sparkled in the dimly lit room, giving the black cat a stern look that basically said, "Out."
Seemingly taking Roxanna's silent demand to heart, the black cat leaped off the windowsill and sauntered out of the room. While she appreciated Selene's intriguing wiliness to keep an eye on her son, Roxanna wasn't about to let her hang around Rocky while he was sleeping.
Watching as the female feline ran off to god knows where, Roxanna exited her youngest child's room, making sure to switch off the lights and quietly closed the door, careful not to accidentally wake up her son. Just as she was about to leave and walk further down the corridor a pair of strong arms wrapped lovingly around her waist, her breath hitching at the soft nibbles at her neck, a small moan escaping past her lips.
Roxanna looked back at her somewhat mischievous husband with a smile of amusement. "Are you tryin' to wake up the children?"
"They're fine," Derek replied with a grin whilst thoroughly studying her, taking in the beauty of his childhood friend and wife, twirling her around so that they were face to face. "At the moment, I'm more interested in your lack of clothing."
He was referring to the white see-through gown that she was wearing along with white lacy underwear and stockings, every one of her tattoos on display for his eyes only. Roxanna blushed faintly at the barely concealed lust in her husband's brown eyes, but despite her slight embarrassment, a foxy grin that only he ever gets to see made its way to her face.
"Well... it's been such a long time since we had any alone time."
Derek gulped slightly as Roxanna pushed herself against him, her tattooed arms slithering up to run her hands through his short dark brunette hair, her gold eyes glowing in the dark corridors.
"I bet you were so lonely without me~" she whispered, her lips a breathe away from his. Derek's heartbeat quickened as he looked into those hooded gold eyes, willing himself not to look away... or down towards her breasts that was pressed against him.
"Yeah..."
Roxanna chuckled and shook her head at her husband's breathless answer. Sometimes, the effect she had over him frightened her. Maybe it was her eyes. They were inhumanly supernatural.
Roxanna moved away before things could get out of hand, taking a hold of her husband's hand and leading him down the corridor, making sure to swing her hips in a tantalizing manner whilst doing so. Roxanna looked over her shoulder at her husband as they headed towards their bedroom, her gold eyes glowing with lust.
"You ain't doing anything tonight," she demanded hotly, a smirk stretching across her face. "I'll take care of everything."
Derek didn't have the desire to challenge her demands.
'Goodbye, and Goodnight'
