Summary: What if Amity and Co were late? What if they didn't get to Luz in time and she had to flee to the Human Realm? What if others went with Luz to the Human Realm instead?

When Camila heard the doorbell, she couldn't have imagined what she saw on the other side.

"Hi mom... I'm back." Luz said.

Camila reached out and immediately hugged Luz, happy that she was back, but horrified that she looked like she was beat to hell and back.

"Luz... Mija... you're back." Camila said, smiling while crying tears of joy.

"Y-y-yeah... I am." Luz said.

Camila looked up and saw that there were people with Luz, all looked scared and like they just lost everything, which may have happened judging by the injuries.

"Luz, I didn't realize you had company." Camila said, ushering all of them inside, "Come in, come in, you must be cold in the rain."

Camila went into the other room and they could hear some faint talking.

"Vee, go get some towels, I'm going to work on finishing dinner." Camila said.

"Okay."

Camila came back into the den and motioned the group to come to the kitchen. They did and all sat at the table. Camila put bowls in front of them and filled them with some kind of soup.

"Here, this should help warm you up." Camila said, "After this we can... talk about what you're doing here."

Vee returned with towels, and the small group that came with Luz immediately began to panic. They hid behind Luz, scared of the huggable basilisk.

"It's okay." Luz said, "She won't hurt you, she's a friendly basilisk."

"The basilisk that attacked Hexside drained me of my magic, I still get nightmares about it." The girl with the green uniform said.

"She's not like that one, she hates draining magic." Luz said, "Just... give her a chance."

The group slowly sat back down and they all began eating as they got towels to dry themselves.

"Now, what happened?" Camila asked, "Who are these people you came here with? Are they from the... Demon Realm?"

Luz nodded.

"I... was captured, along with King, who I'll tell you about later, and brought to this man called Emperor Belos, formerly known as Philip Wittebane."

"Wait, the same one that the town has a statue of?" Camila asked.

"Yes." Luz said, "I was brought to him and we fought, I don't know what exactly happened, but these three arrived."

"We were going through town, trying to help as many people get away from Day of Unity, when we saw Kikimora flying with someone captured. We knew we had to help so we got on our staffs and followed after her." The girl with glasses said.

Luz looked at the table, unable to continue.

"We helped her again Belos and then some... child came in... killed... Belos, and suddenly the world was falling apart. We only had two options, we stay and possibly die, or we run to the portal." The girl with a silver colored ponytail said, "Obviously, we're right here."

"Yeah... with no way back." Luz said.

"Well, you're welcome to stay here." Camila said, "After helping my daughter I will do whatever it takes to help. But do you mind telling me your names?"

"I'm Skara."

"I'm Amelia."

"I'm Cat."

Luz looked at the food in front of her.

'Amity, Willow, Gus, Hunter... everyone... please be okay.'
