Summary: After all that's happened, everyone tries to forget what happened with the Collector, but one unlucky person doesn't have that chance.

It has been weeks since the defeat of the collector and things were beginning to return to normal. Luz and Amity landed outside the school on their staffs and walked into the school. Their friends and them were something of local celebrities, helping stop the Collector and saving everyone... well... almost everyone.

"She still hasn't shown up to school?" Luz asked.

"Can you really blame her?" Amity asked, "I mean, she's stuck with a permanent reminder of what happened, she's probably still trying to process it."

"If you're talking about Amelia, then I think I should tell you, I went over to her house this morning." Skara said, greeting them at the entrance, "She's... not okay."

"Figured as much." Luz said, as String Bean flew around Luz's head, "Maybe we could do something for her, maybe go see her and try and help?"

"I don't know if that will help." Amity said.

"It's worth a try." Skara said, "But I don't know what could help."

"Maybe a plant?" Luz suggested, "I mean, she is in the plant track."

"Maybe."

Elsewhere, in Amelia's home, her mom opened the door to her daughters room.

"Amelia?"

She saw the lump under the blanket and walked over to the bed.

"Amelia, it's going to be okay."

"Is it?" Amelia asked from under the blanket, "How is it going to be okay?"

"Because, you're a strong girl that can make it through anything." Her mom said, "Now come on out so I can see my daughter."

Amelia hesitated, but eventually sat up, revealing her wooden face. Her mom put a hand on her cheek as Amelia looked down.

"It will be okay." Her mom said, sensing that Amelia wanted to cry, "You're a strong witch, we'll figure something out."

"No, it won't." Amelia said standing up, "I'm not witch, I'm not person, I'm just some... wooden doll... puppet... thing! I don't know why I wasn't turned back like everyone else, all I know is that I'm stuck like this!"

"Amelia, you shouldn't think like that, we'll find a way to fix you."

"Sorry for not believing you, but when a literal God didn't manage to fix me, I have hard time believing that anyone can."

Amelia walked over to the wall and slid down it, she just sat on the floor and went limp, like a puppet without a puppeteer. Her mom knew what this meant, Amelia retreated into her mind, meaning she wouldn't talk or move until she wanted to, and from how she acted, it seems unlikely that she'll come back anytime soon.
