Summary: What if Luz didn't go through the portal with her friends? What if she was stuck in the Demon Realm with the Collector, while her friends were in a world they know nothing about?

"Luz!" Amity yelled as the portal door shut.

Amity grabbed the door and opened it, revealing the old destroyed cabin. Amity closed the door and then opened it again, only to see the very same thing as before, just a cabin. Amity looked at Gus, Willow, and Hunter with a broken look. Willow looked at Amity with a sad look, Hunter looked at the ground, and Gus... broke down and cried. All the while, the rain pelted down on them. They didn't know what to do about this, until there was a bright light shining on them.

"Are you okay?" A person asked.

They looked passed the light and saw a girl with an umbrella next to who they assumed was the girl's mother. Amity looked closer and noticed something... the girl looked like-

"Luz?" Amity asked, "Wait... you must be Vee. Luz was telling me about you."

"You... you know Luz?" Vee asked, "Wait, you must be from the Demon Realm then! Is... is Luz with you!?"

The just made them all sad again, as they looked back at the door.

"No... she isn't." Amity said.

Amity closed her eyes and looked at the ground.

'She sacrificed herself to keep us safe.' Amity thought.

In the Boiling Isles, it was safe to say that total chaos was happening. The Collector was free and if you thought this was the beginning of the apocalypse, no one would disagree with you.

"I'm free! I'm finally free!" Collector said, "This is the best I've felt in forever and ever! It's like the whole world is singing!"

Below them, the world wasn't singing, it was screaming in horror.

"Yeah, I wouldn't call that singing." King said.

"You're hurting everyone!" Luz said.

Luz was floating next to them, but unlike King, the Collector made sure that Luz was restrained. Collector ignored Luz completely.

"So, how do we play the Owl House?" Collector asked, "You promised you'd play with me if I stopped the draining spell."

Luz gave King a look that said, 'I hope you know what you're doing'.

"It's... like playing pretend, we get roles and go on adventures." King said, "But this is too much."

"King! Luz!"

They looked down and saw Lilith and Hooty coming up to them.

"What are you doing up there?!" Lilith asked worried.

"What's happening!?" Hooty yelled.

Lilith began to get an angry look.

"I don't know what you are, but let go of my Niece and Nephew." Lilith said.

"That's my best friend you're talking about!" Collector said.

He fired a crescent moon at Lilith, which Hooty blocked, becoming a puppet. It didn't do much to help Lilith as was hit by another and became a puppet.

"Hooty! Lilith!" Luz yelled, "You freaking monster!"

Collector looked at Luz and floated near her.

"Oh, what, you going to do that to me to?" Luz asked, with tears of anger.

"No... I have something special planned for you." Collector said, putting a finger on Luz's head.

The finger started glowing and Luz and King looked scared.

'I'm going to die... this it.' Luz thought, 'At least I managed to get my friends to safety.'

After that thought, everything went black for Luz. She could only hear a laugh from the Collector.
