Standing in the judgment hall, waiting, was a short skeleton in a blue hoodie, basketball shorts and slippers. He doesn't know how long he's been there, hours, days, maybe years; given what the human could do, he couldn't be sure. As he stood there, thinking, a voice called out to him from behind, a higher pitched voice he swears he's heard once before.

"Hey, smiley." Sans looked behind him, then down to see a yellow flower, and it all came back to him, at least the dreams did, though, unlike those dreams, where the flower seemed angry and vile, he just seemed scared right now.

"oh, it's you. what brings you here? there's no papyrus to bother anymore."

"Wait, you remember who I am?"

"kinda. it's all fuzzy, like dreams i've had, you're in them, sometimes doing good, sometimes... a lot of the times doing bad, but they've stopped as of recently. been replaced with dreams of the human instead, still just as fuzzy though." Flowey looked down, deep in thought, even though Sans had no determination like him, which allowed him to fully remember each reset and save, Sans somehow had the ability to get glimpses of the alternate timelines and resets.

"Well, that's a new one. Anyway, the reason I'm here. Chara's gonna be here soon... actually, I'm not even sure it is Chara anymore, they're not who I remember at all." sans looked a little confused, but then realized he was talking about the human.

"So, that monster has a name eh? At least I'll have something to remember who murdered my brother." Sans clenched his fist within his sweater pocket while Flowey still looked nervous.

"L-look, I have a plan. Just try to hold them off for as long as you can, I need to convince the king to give me the human souls, it's our only shot to truly take them down once and for all."

"you're gonna try to use em to reset, right? but wouldn't that just bring us back to where we are right now?"

"Not exactly. If my plan is correct, I can go back further, back even to when I first woke up as a flower. It's a long shot, but it's all we have." Just then, footsteps were heard coming from the end of the hall, just in the light, a human figure was silhouetted, before being illuminated by a determination star, then faded away, all that remained were those glowing red eyes. "Well, that's your cue. Good luck, remember, keep them distracted as long as possible and don't hold back. I need to try out every way to talk to him." With that, Flowey disappeared into the ground, leaving Sans alone with this menace.

In the throne room, King Asgore was watering his flowers, when one just sprung up out of nowhere, startling him, then having a face appear on it.

"Oh, howdy there little one, where did you come from?"

"Da- Asgore! I'm not sure how much time we have here, but-" Suddenly, he was brought back next to sans who had turned to face the human at the other end of the corridor "Dammit smiley, I know I said don't hold back, but I didn't think you'd take my words to heart right away!" Without another word, he fled back into the throne room, leaving a rather confused, but still not too bothered Sans back to take care of them once more. Again, Flowey appeared in the throne room frantically, startling his previous father once more.

"Asgore, hi! Look, I don't have much time here, but I need you to help me."

"With what, little one?" He knelt down to talk to the flower more easily.

"There's a human coming, currently figh-" Once again, he was sent back next to Sans, making him let out a groan of annoyance. Once again, he set off to find Asgore, but then realized something, he would just keep doing this over and over for quite some time, only getting little bits and pieces extended onto his conversation, he wouldn't get anywhere here, so instead, he decided to wait this out, watching the battle unfold, each one getting longer than the last, sometimes they slipped up and died earlier, but for the most part, each fight dragged on longer and longer. Flowey was analyzing them, reading their movements, watching them improve and memorizing the amount of time he had. At one point, one that he really enjoyed, Sans appeared to spare them and it seems like they accept his mercy, only to get annihilated by a massive field of bones, they both really enjoyed that one. After the 70th death, Flowey got an average of about 8 minutes and even then he knew that sans could keep going, so he then began to talk to the king once again, this time in less of a rush since he had a vague idea about how much time he had.

"Oh, howdy there... how peculiar, I've never seen a flower with a face before."

"Yeah, I know, I'm an oddity, but look, we don't have much time. Out there, in the corridor, a fight is going on between a human who just slaughtered the entire underground and your stupidly overpowered judge."

"What are you talking about? There's been a human wreaking havoc? Why was I not contacted about this. Maybe I can get them to stop by talking."

"Oohhh no, they are way past talking now, there's only one option, show me where the other souls are, if I can use them, I'll be able to find a way to reset this whole mess."

"Well-" Time was up, he was next to Sans once again.

"Dammit! He was considering!" As he left, Sans just looked confused, from his point of view, he just got done talking to Flowey and out of nowhere he just became angry. Back in the throne room, Flowey repeated himself again, this time getting a lot more out of the king than before.

"Well, I suppose I could at least see what's happening before making any rash decisions." He was about to walk out when he felt a tug on his cape, turning back, he saw the flower's desperate face, almost in tears.

"Please, dad, just... please!" Flowey didn't want to beg, but at this point, it seemed like the best option. Asgore stopped in his tracks, turned around, then fell to his knees in front of the flower, recognizing those expressions.

"D-dad? Asriel? Is that you?" Another reload happened, this time he disappeared before Sans could catch a glimpse of his tears, which he wiped away before talking to Asgore again. This time, he went a different approach, an approach he hadn't tried since he first spawned as a flower.

"Howdy, dad? It's me, Asriel." Just as the previous load, Asgore knelt down to his presumed dead son, cupping his hands around him in a protective wall.

"Asriel? Is that really you? I don't believe it." Asgore's voice was shaky and tears were beginning to form, but Flowey decided to try and cut this short.

"Yes, it's me and as much as I want to continue this reunion, you have to listen to me. Out in the hall, there's a fight that's allowing me to talk to you to try and save all of monster kind." Asgore was taken aback by this.

"Whatever do you mean." Flowey knew about 3 minutes had passed, he had to work quickly.

"Look, a human's been terrorizing the entire underground, killing anyone they can find, it's mass genocide, but with the help of the human souls, I can save us all. Just take me to them."

"But Asriel, that kind of power, while I do trust you, being my son, I'm not sure I can fulfill that kind of request." With that, Flowey had enough, he pulled up two vines, grabbing Asgore's face between them and yelling while in tears.

"Why can't you get it through your thick head that we only have one chance and you're wasting the precious time we have! Just take me to the souls dammit!" He started to cry and that, combined with his words finally seemed to get through to Asgore, who simply stood up and nodded.

"Come with me then." He walked off into another room, one where the barrier is, then set his foot down on a pad in the floor, pushing up 6 glass capsules that contained the souls; but just as he was about to reach for them, one more load happened. He had to bite his tongue at his unbridled rage, but knew this was for the best as it gave him more time and now he knew where they were. He moved right past the throne room and into the barrier room, finding the pad and pressing down on it, revealing the souls.

"Finally!" With that, he absorbed them all, the determination and power coursing through him as his body shaped and transformed itself to better accommodate the power. As soon as he transformed, he rushed back into the corridor, busting through the castle, sending Asgore flying and arriving just in time to protect Sans from getting sliced.

"Flowey..." They said with a sort of sick smile. "Glad you could finally join the party, though I preferred your more... domestic form."

"It's over Chara, I don't know what brought you to do this, but I'm here to end it."

"Chara? You still think I'm Chara?" They laughed maniacally before staring back at the large monstrosity before them. "No, Chara had nothing to do with this. This is all me, all Frisk. Once they saw what I was doing, Chara's ghost abandoned me long before I even left the ruins."

"Then I'll have no regrets for what I'm about to do." Flowey began by shooting out multiple vines at Frisk, them dodging with ease, the shurikens, the fire, all of it, even eating the piece of pie they had for the entirety of their journey, healing them up.

"I beat you before when I was weaker, I can do it again!" Frisk called out, dodging another volley of vines, about to slice Flowey, but were then tossed back into them, taking some damage. "The hell?" Frisk looked up to see Sans standing under Flowey, seeming to be fully energized, thanks to his new partner.

"can you handle both of us at once though?" Suddenly, Frisk wasn't feeling all that confident anymore, then from behind the corridor, Asgore showed up to see what all the noise was about, only to be shocked to say the least at the sight before him.

"W-what-"

"Either help up fight or leave!" Flowey shouted back to his father, blocking Frisk's path with fire and Sans's blasters. It took a little bit, but Asgore realized what he had to do, unleashed his trident and sprung into battle with them. For being three on one, the fight was actually very even, Frisk getting some hits in on Asgore and Flowey, but him healing them all and re-energizing them with the near limitless power of the souls and this time, they actually helped out in the fight and didn't rebel since they realized Frisk was a far greater evil than Flowey or even their own murderer. The fight went on for a while until Frisk ran out of items to heal, the trio had them cornered and finally, Flowey surrounded them in a sphere of pellets, sans in a ring of blasters and Asgore in a ball of fire. With one swift motion, they all fired, ending Frisk; once their soul appeared, Flowey grabbed it, preventing it from breaking, but he didn't absorb it, instead, he just emptied it of its determination before shattering it completely.

"so, it is over?" Sans asked him.

"It will be soon. Asgore, I'm sorry I couldn't explain this to you before, but, hopefully, it'll all make sense the next time around." He extended his cactus hand, creating a very bright determination star and going into it. Within the void, Flowey swiped through all of his loads and saves before coming across his first one, he then selected it, aiming to just reset like normal, but there was another option below it, true reset. "Well, no harm in trying." He selected it and the world went white, causing him to wake up as a flower once more, confused about the world, starting the tale of Flowey once again.

During the fight however, one big change occured, Donovan Reed, the current wielder of a very special soul finally passed and his trait was passed on to his grandson, Stryker and when the timeline was fully reset, that one change would alter the course of history forever in the underground.

A/N: While I'm updating journey of a Saiyan, figured I might as well throw in this little nugget of a story just to show you guys in detail what happened to change the timeline of Strykertale, creating a new AU.
