This was inspired by a series of image I found on Deviantart, because of this site deleting links, I can't post it here, but I can tell you who made it. It's called "enLightened Luz" by EezySeven

Summary: I don't know yet.

Lilith cleared her throat and spoke to the crowd of the Covention.

"Greetings witches of the Isles, today the Emperor's Coven is proud to present a duel between Amity Blight, the youngest Abomination expert on the Isles."

The crowd cheered at Amity, fully expecting her to win.

"Versus... some human girl." Lilith continued, before leaning over and whispering to Amity, "Try not to hurt it too badly, we don't want to embarrass the thing."

"Don't worry, I have this under control." Amity said.

On the other side of the arena, Luz was bouncing in excitement.

"Luz, you need to calm down a bit." Eda said, "This Blight girl is no joke, I've seen her in action and you're still new to this stuff."

"Sorry, I'm just so excited!" Luz said, "This is my first chance at showing everyone that humans are just as good at magic as witches!"

"Well... give her hell kid." Eda said.

Luz nodded and walked away from Eda, while Amity did the same to Lilith.

"Give up and I'll go easy one you." Amity said.

"Not on your life... I have something to prove here." Luz said.

"Fine, I'll try not to make too bad of a mess then."

Amity raised her finger in the air and made a slowing circle. Her body turned purple and she quickly became an abomination version of herself. Her left arm became a sharp blade, while her right arm became a shield. Amity smiled widely.

"Show me what you got, HUMAN." Amity said, emphasizing the word human.

Luz just smiled and held a slip of paper in her palm.

"Gladly." Luz said, slamming her fist into her palm.

There was a bright flash, that made Amity use her shield to try and block the light. When she lowered the shield, she saw Luz, except she looked different. Her hair was almost white, her hoodie having become yellow instead of purple, her brown eyes were replaced with yellow irises, with tiny light glyphs inside the pupil. Luz smiled and crouched down, before running at a fast speed that Amity barely was able to block with her shield. Amity merged her legs together and then stuck her lower body to the ground to avoid being knocked back. Amity recovered and swung her sword at Luz, but she also easily dodged with similar speed she just used to hit Amity.

"Wow, you are really slow." Luz said, dodging another swing from Amity.

Amity growled.

"Stop moving!" Amity yelled.

"Nah." Luz said, as her hands started glowing more, "I think you need to brighten up."

Luz fired blasts of light at Amity, hitting her and nearly blinding her.

"AH!" Amity screamed, "THAT'S IT!"

Amity's vision returned and she sank into the ground, disappearing under the sand. Luz was a bit surprised by that, but held her ground... until a purple fist rose from the ground and hit her into the air. Luz landed on her back hard enough to leave an impression in the sand, but Amity didn't let up. A few dozen hands rose from the ground, as if she had spread her body out under the sand to fill the entire ground. Luz used her speed to try and dodge, but it was only so helpful against this.

'Think Luz... you have light powers right now... light can get hot, really hot... if I can make the light hot enough, I might be able to make the sand into glass and trap her under it.' Luz thought.

Will this work... she had no idea, but it was this or lose the ability to actually use the abilities she's only had for like three days. Luz saw the stands and smirked. She fired a beam of light at the hands in the way, making a path. She ran and jumped onto ledge that separates the arena from the stands, then jumped high into the air and made a large ball of light in her hand. She let gravity take her and she dove head first towards the ground, putting her hand and the ball of light ahead of her. She slammed her hand onto the ground, engulfing the arena in light. When the light faded, the sand was replaced with a large glass floor, with abomination goo trapped beneath it, making it look like Amity was some special floor pattern.

I'll probably be adding to the battle when I make a full story, I just had to get this idea done before I lost inspiration. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
