this might be the last reglaur update for a little while. I've started working full time and then as we enter december its gonna be that very werid busy time, huh? Will try and get a few more chapters up and out along the month abiet more random times. but for now, i wish you lots of love light and lattes for these cold dark winter nights. thank you so much for reading x

Angus was almost about to shut the book, so to 'hit send' as it were. But paused. Then took out his pen again and added;

"P PS. When you do come back, please don't tip in gold again? I think it's seen as odd, sorry. Or even rude possibly? Most customers don't tip with it being a halfling establishment. And if they do they put it in the jar on the counter, not leave it on the table. And even if people tip, they don't leave that much? Or they drop in with things for Mrs Cosie to use in her baking. Mr Kravitz is getting a weird enough reputation as it is. He keeps leaving really old coins and shiny things as tips, even though he pays with normal money."

And then, thinking about it also added:

"P P Ps. I can't tell if you're joking about talking to (bullying!) Lucas? Please don't. He's still SUPER awkward around me after last awards evening."

On that note, he closes the book, sending his reply up into the atmosphere with affection.

And then opens the Notebook again. This time he writes a note to Davenport wishing him well while he's got the book out. (Davenport rarely answers his stone for calls. Not in the sense like Merle never has his stone turned on. The captain just finds it distracting to have a stone of farspeech at the helm with him. Better with postcards and letters, even if it might take a while for him to get back to you.) then shuts it and sits back on the bench.

The park is peaceful. There's a crisp breeze, but the sun is nice and warm enough to sit in. Writing to his friends has helped soothe Angus irritations and the trees hide the bustle of NeverWinter. Angus sighed contentedly. And then Angus glanced at his watch. There's a mad flurry of activity as Angus scoffed down the rest of his scone, attempting to neck most of his still hot chai, cram his things back into his bag, grab his bike and to rush to his lecture, having not realised the time. Aside from that though, it's been a good day. Yes, he had to put up with another Taako visit. And the surprise of Lucretia's appearance at his work. And he must Endure the embarrassment of a seeming sea of eyes turning on him, and Lucas Miller tut-tutting as he walks into the hall Five minutes late with hot drink in hand. (He doesn't have any of his dad's flair for uncaringly pulling off.)

But yeah, a good day. There's the bonus nice surprise of, when he got to his rooms afterwards a cheese and spinach toastie (plate and all) dropped through a small portal onto his table. The cut of yelling that accompanied it was a bit concerning but oh well. But it's very tasty and came with a short note. A note with something that looked like slime smeared on one side but very sweet all the same.

"Angus, at work sorry. Just to say Lucretia and I had a catch up and no more rocks, shiny, or weird tips I promise. Also, Lup made extra for my packed lunch. Eat while it's warm or before Barry tries to. Please. I mean it. Love, Kravitz."

Angus reread it happily enjoying Lup's sandwich making skills and the excuse not to bother with the school canteen. And as the woops of more party inclined students filled the quad as they headed out on the town; he settled himself down for the evening and rang the moon base on his stone for a catch up. Angus happily chatted for a good hour or so; The stone being passed between Lucretia and 'the Bob Boobs'. The misunderstanding over their tea shop visits is cleared up and he feels a little bit lighter about the whole thing. He rings off to great affection with Killian promising him the biggest hug next time she sees him to make up for yesterday. And Angus goes to bed a lot more snuggly and happier than he did last night.

Unfortunately, not everyone was so understanding.
