The door to the teashop opens and shuts by itself, the little bell ting-a-linging to no one. Taako has used misty step or turned invisible to slip out. but Angus's brain isn't engaged right now.
"Oh really. That's hardly a civil way to end the matter." Mrs Cosie scoffed. Then clucks, "oh Angus. Dear, take your break."
She sweeps him to head to the back of the shop. then Starts to bustle about righting the wrongs. Angus can't seem to get his feet to move.
"How are you feeling young lady? I am so sorry about all this. Let's get a healer here for you both. Oh thank you Mr Clegg, yes if you wouldn't mind going. I think him at the temple is nearest." She says, taking up Damage control. she draws her wooden spoon clearing most of the disaster with a few prestidigitations. "Dale, Dale? I don't suppose you've another healing touch prepared, do you? just for in the meantime? Ruby? back to work, love; will you start by making some replacement drinks?
Mrs Cosie then spots Angus still stood where she left him.
"Angus break time. Now! A long one. Don't come back till you've calmed down." Angus finds himself Frog marched and shooed and hurried out to the staff locker room.
"Mrs Cosie? I'm really sorry-." A single tear breaks free and she pulls out a hanky to scrub at his face.
"hush. None. Of that." She grumbles then leaves him to pull himself together. "Then I'm calling Twinkle, and they are coming in work by hook or by crook-! Everyone?" she calls to the customers, "I've a fresh batch of sticky buns just need a few minutes cooling, on the house. Anyone else in need of a new drink?
"…Fuck." Angus sniffles.
A split-second later Angus is then overcome with fury. So angry that he rips open his locker intent on calling Taako. Then decides he didn't want to speak to him. Slamming his locker shut again and resting his forehead against it, Angus tries taking deep breaths. But starts kicking the lockers instead. And then kicked the bottom one too hard because his locker jerked open again and hit him in the face.
"Ow fuck-!"
"Language!" Several voices call from the shop. In at least three languages.
Fizzing up Angus takes himself outside, pacing about the courtyard out back till he'd felt less shitty. Angus Washed his face in the staff bathroom. He fixed himself a Glass of water. Straightened his bowtie. then headed back Helped Clean up what was left of his and Taako's mess, Hoping the day would get better.
It didn't.
"You're on tables and pot wash for the rest your shift till we can get cover. And she says don't use mage hand on the china." Dale informed him. In a very manager don't-joke with-me manner Angus normally only heard Dale use when he caught anyone slacking. or customers being race-ist about Big Brenda behind her back. He'd never used it on Angus before.
Angus nods unable to look his friend in the eye. Despite trying his best Angus Mixed up two orders. And broke a plate. He's never Broken a plate not even when he started. Unfortunately, Angus jinxed it, thinking the day couldn't possibly get any worse…
