Mark Evans' arrival at Camp Half-Blood was met with curiosity and excitement from the campers. Mark Evans was a son of Zeus with a height of 5'12", with sky blue eyes, white skin, black hair, athletic figure, bulging muscles, a light blue shirt that said something that Percy couldn't make out due to his dyslexia. Mark also had on black jeans and yellow tennis shoes. Not to mention that cocky smirk that Percy had to resist wiping off Mark's face. Mark possessed an air of mystery, meaning, in other words, something about him seemed off. Unbeknownst to them, Mark's arrival marked the beginning of a dark and treacherous path that lay ahead.
Within the heart of Camp Half-Blood, Percy Jackson, once the hero and champion of the gods, found himself surrounded by a growing sense of isolation. His friends, once his staunch allies, had succumbed to jealousy and doubt, turning their backs on him. Little did Percy know that their betrayal was only the beginning.
Annabeth Chase, the love of Percy's life, was enticed by Mark's presence. A forbidden attraction grew between them, leading to rendezvous and stolen moments of passion. Annabeth's betrayal cut deep into Percy's soul, leaving him broken and vulnerable.
Meanwhile, as the gods looked down upon this unfolding tragedy, their own doubts and fears took hold. Zeus, Athena, Hera-all but a select few among the divine pantheon-questioned Percy's loyalty and righteousness. They sought a scapegoat for their own shortcomings, and Percy became the target of their misplaced wrath.
Scene change: DBS Future Trunks Saga (Age 796)
Meanwhile in another universe, Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks were locked in battle against Goku Black and Zamasu. Both Goku Black and Zamasu were furious. All they wanted to do was eliminate all the mortals and rebuild the universes in their perfect image. But then, these damn Saiyans have the nerve to try and stop them from completing Project Zero Mortals. How dare they! These lowly mortals have no right interfering in their plans! After realizing this, Goku Black and Zamasu were pissed.
"You damn Saiyans! You have no right interfering in our plans! Now BEGONE!!!! KA...ME...HA...ME...HAAA!!!!" Goku Black shouted, firing a Rosè Kamehameha at the Saiyans in his Super Saiyan Rosè form. Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks tried to dodge the Kamehameha, but Zamasu appeared in front of them, grabbing them in a vice grip, holding them in the path of Goku Black's Kamehameha. Zamasu had his immortality, so he wouldn't be hurt anyway. After the blast hit them, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks fell to the ground, badly injured from the blast. Zamasu just smirked and healed, one of the upsides to his immortality. Vegeta stood back up and vanished from his spot, appearing in front of Goku Black. He then decked Goku Black into a building, making him fall to the ground. But instead of looking hurt, Goku Black just smirked at Vegeta, as well as Goku and Trunks, who had just gotten up, albeit with some struggle.
"This body is a gift from the gods, as is their energy. But you arrogant Saiyans all act as if you created this strength on your own." Goku Black said, clenching his fist while smirking evilly. Vegeta launched a yellow ki blast at Goku Black, making it explode in front of him. Goku Black looked up at Vegeta in the sky.
"Hmph. Are you going to lie there all day or are we going to fight? Get up, you miserable thief!" Vegeta shouts down at Goku Black, staring intensely at him. Goku Black screamed in fury, exploding his Ki, and destroyed the stone slab he was sitting under. He put two fingers on his forehead, using Instant Transmission and teleporting in front of Vegeta. Goku Black stared vigorously at Vegeta.
"Now I've figured it out. The reason for the runaway growth in your power level compared to my own. It's anger isn't it? Watching us hurt your son made you angry, which in turn made you stronger. So that's how Saiyan strength works. How primal. Turning your fleeting raw emotions into power! Only a pathetic mortal like yourself could thrive on a tactic that unrefined, which explains why it took so long to realize it!" Goku Black said, while clenching his fist tight and smirking maliciously. Then he continued speaking. "But if that's what fuels this body, I shall use my anger!" Goku Black put his hand up to his side, covering it in his Super Saiyan Rosè aura, and continued speaking. "Anger towards the mortals who defile the universe!" Goku Black held his hand up to the side of his body. "Anger towards the other gods who have tolerated such behavior!" The pink aura around Goku Black's hand disappeared, leaving in it's absence a pink ki blade on his hand. Goku Black raised his left hand up to the front of his face, all the while displaying his full-on evil smile. "And most importantly, the white hot rage I now feel towards myself...for letting you get the upper hand on me in our battle." Goku Black said. He moved the ki blade to his hand, almost as if trying to intentionally cut himself. But to Goku, Vegeta and Trunks' shock, the ki blade started going inside his hand, literally. Then, Goku Black started laughing crazily. Vegeta just gave Goku Black a weird look, as if he was going crazy, which in a way, Goku Black was.
Goku Black tightened his fist around the blade sticking out of his hand. With a maniacal laugh, he pulled the blade out of his hand, all the while screaming, as if powering up. When the blade came out of his hand completely, it wasn't a ki blade anymore, it was a SCYTHE! A pink scythe with a purple hue around it. Goku Black swung the scythe.
"Now he's got a scythe?" Vegeta questioned. Goku and Trunks gasped. Zamasu looked pleasantly surprised. Goku Black held the scythe in front of himself, observing it. "That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument with which to destroy you." Goku Black pointed the scythe at Vegeta.
"You must realize the consequences of my burning rage is a source of power. My fury runs deeper than any mortal mind could ever comprehend. Which means my might will be unrivaled too. And this scythe will carve a reminder into your mortal flesh due to the strength of my divine wrath." Goku Black said, swinging the scythe, which launches a blast at Vegeta, who just vanishes out of the way of said scythe, looking rather bored while doing it. The scythe blast tears a hole in space-time, not that Vegeta notices.
"Hmph! If you think that gives you the upper-" Vegeta gasps, having finally noticed the hole in space-time. He then looks at Goku Black with a shocked look. Vegeta looks at the tear in space-time and asks, "What the hell is that?"
Goku Black smirks at Vegeta. "Good question. To be honest, I'm not sure myself. Have I sliced a hole into another universe? Or to the distant past or future? Maybe it's a physical manifestation of the anger stirring in my own divine consciousness. Hahaha. All I know now is that my strength surpasses my own understanding. Its' summit is higher than either man or God has yet explored."
Goku decided to use Goku Black's distraction to his advantage, and try to seal Zamasu with the Mafuba. He took the Mafuba pot and seal out of his pocket and used Instant Transmission to teleport behind Zamasu unnoticed. Goku put the pot and seal on the ground.
'I sure hope this works. There's no room for error. Innocent lives are on the line. Ok, here goes. I hope I don't mess this up.' Goku thought. He raised his hands in the air towards Zamasu, who was immediately flung into the air. Vegeta turned towards Goku and saw what he was doing. So, he decided to fight Goku Black to buy some time for Goku.
"What the-? What's happening to me!? NOOOOO!!!! THIS CAN'T BE HOW IT ENDS!!!!! DAMN IT ALL!!!!" Zamasu roared in fury. Goku Black stops fighting Vegeta and sees what's happening. Suffice to say, Goku Black is pissed. But he was also shocked. He was honestly not expecting this to happen. He watches as Goku successfully seals Zamasu away with the Mafuba, destroying any hope of freeing his partner, knowing Goku won't let him near the Mafuba pot. Goku Black debates his options: Fight or flee. If he stays here, he will get his ass beat by these wretched Saiyans, which is not something he wants. Or worse, Beerus the Destroyer, Universe 7's God of Destruction, could erase him from existence with Hakai, which is admittedly better than dying by these Saiyans, but not a desirable outcome either.
So, with what little self-preservation instincts he had left, Goku Black decided living was better. He put away his scythe, and powered down to base form. He looked at the tear in space-time and saw it was closing. Looking back at Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks, Goku Black noticed they seemed to know what he was planning, but made no move to stop him. If anything, they all powered down to base form. He put two fingers on his forehead and vanished, reappearing in front of the tear in space-time, which looked suspiciously like a portal up close. Goku Black flew into the portal. The last thing he noticed before the tear in space-time closed, was Goku and Vegeta smiling, because the future was spared like they was (or so they think). Trunks was outright jumping around like a little kid. Goku Black snarled. Mortals will always be vile, disgusting creatures to him. No matter what. He flew further into the portal, and ended up in a black void. He sat on the ground, his instincts telling him something important is about to happen.
Scene Change: Camp Half-Blood
One fateful day, as tensions reached their peak, Annabeth's hand struck Percy's heart, the Celestial Bronze knife piercing his heart. Annabeth smirked, thinking she had finally killed the oh-so-great Perseus Jackson. Mark just stood by her side, raising an eyebrow at her actions, not expecting her to do this, but not stopping her either. She looked pretty well, for someone who just killed their ex-boyfriend. Mark walked up to Annabeth and kissed her. She smiled into the kiss. They broke the kiss, and Annabeth smirked, looking at the campers and gestured to Percy's "dead" body. The campers cheered.
"I did it! I killed the great Percy Jackson! And in good timing too. Someone should have gotten rid of his annoying ass years ago. Oh well. At least it's finally over. He won't be bothering us anymore. I believe this calls for a celebration! TIME TO PARTY!" Annabeth roared. The campers roared in approval. The Olympians, sensing a disturbance, flashed into the camp. They looked down besides Annabeth and saw Percy's body. Tears dripped down Poseidon's face at the death of his favorite son. He turned to Annabeth with a furious look on his face.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?" Poseidon roared with anger. He summoned his trident and appeared in front of Annabeth, going for the kill. An eye for an eye, as they say. But Poseidon met resistance when Athena appeared in front of her favorite daughter using her spear to block his trident. Athena stared at Poseidon with a furious expression.
"Calm down and stop, Poseidon. Just because my daughter killed your son, doesn't mean you should do the same. If anything, she did the world a big favor. He was too powerful to be kept alive. Plus he might not be loyal to us anymore. We need to know where his loyalties lie." Athena tried to use her reason on Poseidon. But it just made him even more enraged. He pushed his trident harder against Athena's spear, effortlessly breaking it with a snap.
"Don't try to reason with me Athena! My son, and he's not at fault. He was extremely loyal to Olympus. Need I remind you, niece, of all he's done for Olympus? He defeated Kronos. And made Gaea fade for Chaos' sake. Yet, you dare accuse my son of being capable of betraying Olympus? Well he do so now since he was betrayed by his closest friends and family. That's assuming your daughter didn't kill my son. But, in the off-chance she did, then I hope you're prepared for war, Athena, because I will go to war. I swear this upon the River Styx." Poseidon said, glaring at Athena, who paled, not wanting Poseidon as an enemy, due to him being extremely powerful. She wisely nodded her head at Poseidon.
'I agree with my uncle Poseidon, sister. Perseus was a good man, and a really loyal one at that. He even befriended my old friend and lieutenant, Zoe Nightshade, and gave her peace before she died. She even approved of him, and called him a true hero. She said he was better than Heracles, which I agree with. Zoe was right. Perseus is a true hero, and he did not deserve to die. If we go to war, I will stand with Uncle Poseidon." Artemis said. Poseidon smiled at her, giving her a silent thanks. She nodded her head to Poseidon.
"Daughter, you dare betray me!? Then you're no daughter of mine. I'll send you straight to Tartarus!" Zeus roared, pointing his Master Bolt menacingly at Artemis, ready to send her tor Tartarus. But before he could fire his Master Bolt at Artemis, he intervened.
Zeus looked down at his Master Bolt, only to see it locked in place by a purple energy blade. He looked toward the owner of the energy blade. It was a man about 5'9", with tan skin, spiky black hair (exactly like Goku's) black eyes, a gray gi with a black long-sleeved undershirt and turtleneck (A/N: Look up Goku Black for a better picture of what he looks like.), a red sash tied around his waist, black pants, a silver ring with an infinity symbol on his right hand, a green and goold earring on his left ear, and white pointy boots. He also had a malicious smirk directed at Zeus, which made him roar in anger, his eyes flashing with rage.
"YOU DARE!?" Zeus boomed, before he was interrupted by a punch to his stomach, delivered bythe newcomer, which made Zeus double over in pain, coughing up ichor.
The other Olympians watched this scene with absolute shock and awe; they were terrified of this man, not that they would admit it out loud of course. Hera looked at the newcomer, a flicker of fear beneath her anger.
"Just who are you? You cannot be an ordinary mortal or god, because not even us Olympians are that strong!"
The newcomer turned to Hera and smirked. "A god? How quaint. No, I am something far surpassing a mere deity. As for who I am? Let's just say I'm the harbinger of a new era. An era where mortals and gods alike will tremble before my might. I am justice given form. Now venerate the most noble, splendid, immortal and supremely powerful god: Zamasu. You all can call me Goku Black. Also, Percy Jackson isn't dead. This is his body, and with his permission, I'm possessing it, permanently. He's inside his mind at the moment. I'm here to get revenge on those who wronged him. Oh, and don't try to kill us, we're immortal, legitimately immortal, not the cheap knockoff immortality you gods have." Goku Black sneered. Everyone paled at that. But Ares didn't care, being the idiot he was, and he charged at Goku Black, who just smirked and decked Ares in the face, sending him flying into his cabin. Ares stood up, and saw that his cabin now had a hole from him impacting with his cabin.
"Oops, my bad. Did I destroy your cabin? Sorry about that, but also not sorry. Hehehe hahaha!" Goku Black laughed maniacally, then teleported in front of Ares and karate-chopped him in the neck, knocking him unconscious. Then he turned and faced the gods. Goku Black snapped his fingers, making everyone black out, but not before Goku Black said something that sent shivers through their bodies.
"Being the nice, generous god I am, let me show you something." Goku Black smirked at them and used his Ki to float in the air in a sitting position, waiting for them to wake up.
Flashback (5 minutes before Zeus tries to fire his Master Bolt at Artemis, and 2 minutes after Percy's "death")
Percy woke up in a black void. Was this it? Was he really killed by his own ex-girlfriend? After all he's been through, THIS is how he does? This is pathetic. He was hoping to go down fighting, like a real warrior. Oh well. Too late now.
"On the contrary Percy Jackson, you are very much still alive. You are currently hanging between life and death though. However, you can easily recover from this. I have a solution to help you, one that benefits both of us. But I need your permission first." The mysterious man said.
He appeared in front of Percy and smiled softly at him. The man was 5'9" with tan skin, black spiky hair (exactly like Goku's), black irises, a gray gi with a black long-sleeved undershirt and a turtleneck, a red sash tied around his waist, black pants, pointy white boots, a green Potara earring on his left ear, and a silver ring on his right hand.
"Hello Percy. Nice to meet you. My name is Zamasu, but most people call me Goku Black nowadays, except my former master, Gowasu. I read your mind, and saw you got betrayed by everyone you loved and trusted. Well not EVERYONE per se, but that's beyond the point. If you want revenge against those who wronged you, then let me inhabit your body. If you agree, we share your body, but it's permanent and can't be undone. I swear on the Styx to help you get revenge, among other things, since your universe does oaths that way. I mean you no harm, I promise you." Goku Black said, extending his hand towards Percy with a smile.
Percy thought about what Goku Black said. On one hand, revenge would be nice. On the other hand, if nothing is done, then future demigods will go through what he went through, something he didn't want. Plus Goku Black is very powerful, clearly. Combine their powers, and no one can stop them. So with nothing to lose, Percy made up his mind and shook Goku Black's hand. Goku Black smiled at Percy. Then there was a blinding white light inside the void, and when it disappeared, Percy was gone. In his place was Goku Black, who put two fingers on his forehead, locked onto one of the camper's energy signatures, and vanished from the void. He reappeared at Camp Half-Blood, scaring everyone shitless, including the gods.
Scene Change: Camp Half-Blood (after the gods and campers wake up)
"So, you all have finally woken up. About damn time." Goku Black grumbled, landing on the ground.
"How were you floating in the air like that?" Athena asked, trying to get answers on this entity.
Goku Black raised an eyebrow and waved his hand in Athena's direction. making her stop talking. "None of your concern, goddess. Do that again, and I'll remove your voice. Permanently." Goku Black snapped his fingers, returning Athena's voice.
"Was that necessary, and why did you show us that?" Demeter asked.
"I assure you. That was completely necessary. As for the second part of your question, I showed you all that to show you all I outclass every one of you in every way. A heads up for those who wronged Percy Jackson. We are gonna come for you all, eventually. You cannot and will not hide from us, thanks to my Ki sensing ability. Don't try to beat me or challenge me. None of you stand the slightest chance against us. With that said, I'm out of here." Goku Black said, teleporting away with Instant Transmission.
The gods flashed to Olympus, and convened an emergency council meeting.
