Across the city of Musutafu citizens were going about their day, enjoying the afternoon, getting off from work or school. In the middle of downtown a trio of heroes were doing patrol, two taking it more seriously than the third.
"Geez, why is there nothing happening today?" Yu Takeyama, also known as the pro hero Mt Lady said with a whining voice
"If there's nothing happening it's a good thing, means our presence is naturally deterring any villains from acting in broad daylight"
Mt Lady turned to her friend, pro hero Kamui Woods, with a look of annoyance. "I know but how am i supposed to get higher in the rankings if nothing happens"
As Mt Lady and Kamui argued the third hero, Death Arms shook his head at the two as they continued their patrol. It was a couple minutes later when the trio reached a populated area of town. The trio watched as regular citizens went about their day with some asking for pictures with them. Death Arms was watching the news displayed on a large screen for the public when it started glitching.
The obvious glitching drew the attention of many people who started pointing it out to others. Not long after the screen went black as well as all others in the area.
"Lady, Kamui, look alive, something is happening!"
Appearing on every screen, the image of a yellow and black hexagon with a capital letter H following a voice narration
"Greetings people of japan, the Hive Academy for Extraordinary Young People is proud to announce our official debut"
"Hive academy? What's that?"
"Woah, it's all over the net as well"
All across the city of Musutafu the same message is playing on every screen. From TVs to personal phones.
"The hive academy is the most prestigious school in the world, and has helped hundreds of students explore the limits of their quirks and reach their fullest potential."
"Most prestigious school in the world? They can't seriously be claiming that right?"
We are opening free enrollment for any young talent who wishes to join us, as of previously operating on an invite only system. To encourage participation in our program we have prepared a showcase from our schools top class, Alpha-1
The screen changes to show an array of individuals standing in a line side by side. From a small boy in a green jumpsuit and hightech gear who looked like he could be no more than five years old to a spikey haired punk with a guitar.
"Alpha 1 will demonstrate their acquired skills and talents, nurtured under our care, in a combat demonstration"
The screen once again changed to a different image this time showing an incredibly large facility that looked like an amusement park. While many civilians did not recognize the location as well as some heroes around the city, Present Mic, who had been relaxing in the teachers lounge at U.A. and scrolling through his phone when the broadcast started, did.
Upon the site of the USJ, Mic performed a spit take, nearly hitting his friend and fellow hero Ms Midnight.
"Hizashi, what the hell!'
Midnight's scream caught the attention of their coworkers Cementoss, Snipe, and Ectoplasm
"Guys, look at the news quick!" Mic said as he turned on the TV in their office lounge.
From the video feed multiple angles were shown of the USJ as well as lots of people. After a montage of clips that showed Aizawa vs the villains and Thirteen vs Kurogiri, the image came to rest on a small boy who appeared to be around five years old.
"Hello all you snot munchers, this is Gizmo, boy genius, here to announce the official debut of the Hive Academy's top class, Alpha 1, and to make this extra special we'll be broadcasting it live for all of Japan to see. Get ready cause you're about to see what real villains can really do!"
As the U.A. teachers watched wide eyed, Midnight caught the last part "Did he say villain!?"
Back at the USJ Gizmo stood at the top of the mountain zone with one of his camera drones recording his feed live.
"Ha ha this is going to be so much fun" Gizmo cackled to himself after turning off his mic.
"Whoo doggy you said it Giz" "yea, now are we all set to go join the fun" the Numerouses said
"Yea lets head to the plaza, I have a majority of the cameras centered around there" Gizmo said as his backpack turned into a jet pack and he flew off followed by Billy Numerous and Private Hive making their way down the mountain.
In the shipwreck zone XL-Terrestrial had just grown to giant size, as he stood over the three students. Izuku was trying to figure out what to do and decided to try and get more information.
"You want to test us, why?"
"Oh, just a little school rivalry, need to see if the famous UA students are good enough, would have preferred to take on your third years, something tells me they'd put up a better fight, and not about to piss their pants" XL said gesturing to Mineta cowering behind Asui.
"Were just students, fighting villains is illegal" Asui spoke up.
"So what? Are you just gonna run away? If that's the case, you have to be the worst heroes I've ever faced. All the heroes here are pathetic. The ones back home would never back down" XL said as he dragged a hand through the water and created a large wave that battered the ship. The students were battered by the wave and pushed against the ship's cabin.
Recovering from the wave, Izuku looked up to see XL's fist racing toward them and reacting without thinking, launched himself to the side tackling Asui and Mineta out the way. XL's fist destroyed the ship's cabin caving it in. the students watched in shock as XL pulled his fist free.
'He destroyed part of the ship with ease, his strength is no joke. We won't last long if he continues to attack, even if we manage to dodge, he'll just sink the ship and the villains in the water will take us out'.
Freaking out Mineta, screaming as he ripped the purple orbs from his head, threw them into the water and at XL who didn't flinch. The small purple orbs dimply floated on the water surface though the league goons steer clear, XL just glared at the orbs stuck to his waist.
"Seriously, you think that will stop me?"
Bringing up his hand again to try and crush them, Izuku had thought out a plan in his head.
'We need to escape but these villains are in our way. If i use one for all I should be able to bring down the giant, but i can't sacrifice my arm, not here, so i'll just use my fingers, like the ball test.'
Bringing his hand up in a flicking motion, Izuku felt the raw power of his quirk coarse through his fingers.
'Imagine the egg in the microwave, keep control!'
Letting loose the tremendous power, a blast of pressurized air struck XL in the chest launching him back, halting his own attack and forcing him to fall underneath the water. His massive body launched water into the air as he fell, catching the league goons under him and as the water came down, they were all stuck together thanks to Mineta's sticky orbs.
"Midoryia are you ok?" Asui asked as she looked over at Izuku clutching his destroyed middle finger and thumb.
Izuku grunted in pain before responding to Asui "yea ill be okay" after saying this he groaned in pain again "I'll be fine at least we got rid of the villain."
"Oh, don't be so sure about that" XL said as he emerged from the water only this time stuck to his body were lots of Mineta's orbs as well as league goons who ended up stuck around his body.
'Impossible that was a powerful smash' Izuku thought as he stared in shock. XL took notice of this.
"Did you really think that was enough kid. I've taken hits from a Tamaranean and a Kryptonian and got back up. But that certainly hurts, congrats kid you're on our radar."
Izuku began to think on what he could possibly mean by that statement but before he could ponder any further XL placed his hands underneath the boat and lifted it into the air.
"Have a nice flight, we need you all in one place."
XL then threw the boat towards the center plaza, where he followed after it.
At the facility entrance Tenya Iida stared up at the girl in front of him.
"Leaving so soon, can't have that now" she said as he got up.
"Who is she, another villain?" Sero said.
"Hmm intriguing, you are not part of the league of villains, girl, nor are you of UA" Kurogiri said. He did not know who this girl was but was thankful that she stopped the boy from escaping.
"That's right, normally I don't do this but allow me to introduce myself, you can call me Jinx" she said as she walked forward before blitzing Iida kicking him in the face and throwing him back to his friends.
"Iida!"
"You were trying to escape, can't have that."
"Who are you?" Uraraka asked fearfully.
"Doesn't matter who she is, she's in the way" Sato yelled as he and Sero charged to attack her but failed when a pink wave of energy came from her hands, Sato tripped on his boot laces that somehow came undone, and Sero missed his tape shot which Sato fell into and when he tried to cut the line it broke in the middle and lashed back at him wrapping around him partially.
Jinx stopped right before the pile of Sero and Sato wrapped in tape.
"Well, it just isn't your lucky day, oh how I'm going to enjoy playing with you" she said as she patted Sero's cheek causing him to blush.
"Excuse me young lady, though you have my gratitude for stopping the boy from escaping, you have yet to answer any real questions, who are you and why are you here?" Kurogiri asked politely.
"Well since you asked so nicely, I stopped the wannabe kid flash here from leaving because there was no point. The heroes are already on their way."
The students upon hearing that felt shock and relief that the heroes were on their way to save them but became confused why this girl seemed so calm. Kurogiri though was apprehensive as their plan hinged on the U.A. staff not getting here in time.
"That should not be the case, all communications should be down within this facility."
"You would think that, but no, you see those drones flying about. They are currently broadcasting live to all of Japan, watching as we the top students of HIVE Academy crush the pathetic hero students of U.A, as well as your little league of wannabe villains."
The students were shocked to hear this, as was Kurogiri, Jinx merely smirked.
"After we're done with all of you, we'll deal with your teachers. So, for now, best to get you all in place."
With a wave of her hands, a large wave of energy washed over them before the ground they stood on exploded, sending them flying down the staircase.
All across Japan more and more people were tuning in to the broadcast and witnessed the attack.
Midnight ran for the principal's lounge, throwing open the door to find principal Nezu and All Might in his weakened form.
"Sir, there's an emergency! Have you seen the broadcast, villains are attacking the USJ. Aizawa and class 1-A are fighting as many as they can and Thirteen has already fallen. Mic is already getting everyone else."
Nezu and All Might had barely registered Midnight's words before they were already moving. All Might quickly buffed up and dashed off with incredible speed. Nezu hoped on Midnight's back as she took off down the hall.
At the same time Present Mic was racing through the halls while using his quirk.
"EMERGENCY! ALL TEACHERS HEAD FOR THE USJ, IMMEDIATELY, I REPEAT ALL TEACHERS HEAD FOR THE USJ. ALL STUDENTS ARE TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES, THIRD YEARS ARE TO TAKE CHARGE, THIS IS NOT A DRILL, I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DRILL!"
Running through the halls more and more teachers left their classes joining mic as they all ran out the building, using their quirks to move faster. As they got out of the building a gust of wind blew past as they saw All Might jumping into the sky.
Inside the building the students were freaking out wondering what was going on that caused all the teachers to leave so suddenly. Some students decided to check their phones to see Gizmo's broadcast be the first thing to pop up.
"Holy crap the USJ has been attacked!"
"Wait there are students there!"
"Not just any students it's the first years."
"What villains would be dumb enough to attack a hero school, especially with All Might here?"
"Hive Academy? What kind of school are they? Certainly not a hero one."
As students congregated and watched the feed, three in particular sat together to watch with a serious look.
"Mirio, you see what i see" a blue haired boy with pointed ears said as he stared over the shoulder of a blonde boy who held his phone while the video was playing.
"Yeah, those Hive guys, the ones broadcasting this, their incredibly well trained"
"Normally i wouldn't worry but, Mirio, Tamaki, i don't think these guys are normal villains" a girl with long teal hair said as she watched Jinx create a explosion that sent the first years and Mist villain flying down the staircase, before Jinx Turned to the camera and winked before walking down the stairs
"I know Nejire, I can feel it too" Mirio said with a frown.
In the mountain zone, Momo, Jiro and Kaminari stared at the new figure that stood on the rocks above them.
"Looks like we missed one" Momo said as she held her staff towards Punk Rocket
"Well, well, look at the beauties we got here, must say this school sure knows how to pick em, ain't that right luv's?" Rocket asked as he strummed his guitar again.
"Ugh just what we need some creep of a villain checking us out" Jiro said as Momo spoke up to address Punk Rocket
"Surrender villain, we have already defeated your allies, you should give up while you still can."
"You think i give two twats about these jokers, my crew wouldn't be caught dead losing to some freshmen heroes who ain't even sidekicks yet, hell, ain't that a kicker, you lot aint even worth it from what I've seen."
"Oh I'm sorry that you have such high standards for attacking some highschool students" Jiro said sarcastically "it's not like we didn't just defeat a bunch of adult villains, asshole"
"Hahahaha, oh i definitely like you love, what's say you join up with me, could o'lways use more band mates, and with your meta power, you got potential as a real rocker" Punk said as he jumped down to land across from them.
"Though, if yous gonna hang round me, best work on that situational awareness, less ya allies get captured" he said as he pointed behind them.
Turning around, Momo and Jiro went wide eyed at Kaminari who was out of commission after frying his brain in a large attack, was being held hostage by a tall villain from the league of villains that was able to escape Kaminari's attack.
"Kaminari!" "NO!" the girls yelled as the villain held up his hand to Kaminari's face as it sparkled with electricity.
"Alright girl's weapons down and no quirks, i normally feel brotherhood with other electric types but, if you move i kill him" Skull mask said as electricity dances around his fingers.
"An electric type, he's probably the one jamming our signals, just like Todoroki said" Momo muttered.
"So, you're the guy causing the fritz, Gizmo was complaining about that" Rocket said as he threw his guitar out and jumped on it. Skull Mask, Jiro and Momo watched as Rocket flew leisurely on his guitar through the air like a surfboard.
"Must say, that's kind of impressive but.."
Quick as lightning, Rocket shot forward flipping off his guitar, grabbing the handle and swinging full force like a hammer into Skull Mask's face, causing him to let go of Kaminari.
Momo and Jiro were shocked that the villain seemingly saved Kaminari, as rocket landed back on his floating guitar.
"You're interfering with our show hahaha. Now time to get you kiddies into place" Rocket said as he turned towards the girls who pulled Kaminari to them. Jiro glared at rocket, before plugging her earphone jack into her boots
"Yeah, I don't think so villain" she said as high-pitched sonic waves emitted from the speakers in her boots. Rocket merely smiled as he flipped his guitar to his hands and did a power chord. From the guitar, sonic waves stronger than her own, caused the three students to be launched back with great force into the rock wall behind them.
Rocket continued to play as the three fell to the floor, hands over their ears screaming in pain, Jiro most of all. The trio was being bombarded by soundwaves from Punk Rocket who stood on the body of Skull Mask.
"Come on loves, don't like the sound of chaos."
Quickly the sound overpowered them as the students blacked out with blood dripping from their ears. Rocket walked over to them and held Jiro by the back of her collar.
"You know love, I always wanted a nemesis of my own, this may be your first defeat but lets hope you can get better, see who the real rocker is."
With that, Rocket dragged Jiro through the air as he rode his guitar towards the plaza. Behind him making their way down the mountain was a pair of Numerouses dragging Kaminari and Momo.
In the landslide zone, Todoroki was being outclassed by a fire villain.
"Come on this really the best you can do" Holocaust yelled as he threw fireball after fireball at Todoroki, putting him on the back foot.
Repeatedly Todoroki tried to use his ice but it melted just as it formed.
'How can this guy have such strong fire, it's like facing HIM' Todoroki thought as he created Yet another ice wall that turned to steam. Seeing this Todoroki decided to put as much as he could into his next attack.
In an instant an absolutely massive glacier of ice formed over holocaust. The glacier rose to at least 30 meters in the air and the air dropped to below 30. Letting out a huff of breath, todoroki looked up to see the fire villain's whole body except his head frozen in ice
"I'll admit you were stronger than expected but that's as far as you'll go" Todoroki said
As Todoroki started to walk away, the sound of clapping could be heard. Turning towards it, Todoroki then remembered the other villain and saw him leaning against the glacier.
"Damn kid, i have to say this right here is some impressive ice, I mean, nothing compared to me, or Freeze, or Frost, or Cold, or Dad, but hey impressive nonetheless" the blue skinned villain said as Todoroki glared
"Sheesh what's with the glare, one would think you have heat vision with that intensity. Oh should probably introduce myself, names Frostbite, trying something new you know, rebranding, can't stay in the old man's shadow forever am i right" Frostbite said.
Todoroki remained silent as he shifted his right foot but the villain didn't seem to notice and instead frowned.
"Come on dont you know how hero-villain banter is supposed to work, geez, at least SB can keep a conversation while we fight, your making this really boring kid"
Todoroki's answer came in the form of more ice and he attempted to capture this villain like the other but Frostbite let loose Ice of his own. As the attacks collided and they destroyed each other.
"Is launching ice really all you can do? Do you not have any finer control? Also let's talk about your costume because that has really been bugging me. First off, what's with the left side? I can understand ice armor but i can tell that's not real, and why only cover one side, it's better to evenly distribute across the chest, also covering your arm and leg joints completely restrict mobility. Break it at the knee and elbow and that's already a vast improvement.
As Frostbite talked, Todoroki felt his eye twitch as he launched more ice to make him shut up but the villain just countered with his own and when Todoroki tried to up the strength frostbite matched it. And he still continued talking!
"Ok, let's look at the right side now. White is always a good color scheme for us ice types but why is it so baggy? Here look at me, my suit uses a blue and black color scheme but is completely form fitting but functional with a kevlar weave. Notice my lack of sleeves? Because of that decision I can do this!"
Taking off towards Todoroki, Ice grew in spikes on Frostbite's shoulders and forearms. Todoroki didn't have time to react as he was punched in the gut with great strength and thrown backwards. As Todoroki struggled to get up his breath came raggedly. His right side was beginning to form frostbite and he could feel a bruise start to form.
As frostbite approached, he called over his shoulder.
"Hey Holocaust you out yet?" "yeah im out"
Todoroki looked up to see the other villain, Holocaust, walking towards them with steam coming off his body. Todoroki stared in disbelief, he was sure that he had defeated him, his ice was all he needed to beat any villain, but this was not true not for the two that stood in front of him. Before he had a chance to do anything else his hands were bound in ice and more frostbite crept over his skin. He had reached his limit and couldn't risk using his ice anymore unless he used his left side to heat up, but he refused and hung his head as Holocaust lifted him over his shoulder and started walking with Frostbite towards the plaza.
As they headed there, the villains were unaware of another presence following them silently.
Down in the collapse Zone Katsuki Bakugo and Ejiro Kirishima were engaging the figure that emerged from one of the dark rooms, Katsuki sent explosion after explosion Red X's way as he was able to dodge his explosions and quickly close the distance between the two as Katsuki shouted at him.
"You'll regret ever coming here with your shitty little league!" Bakugo yelled in anger
"League? Oh i'm not with those pathetic rejects" Red X said as he quickly closed the distance between himself and Bakugo
Kirishima, focusing on what Red X said, tried to get some answers "what do you mean you're not with them? If you aren't with them then who are you? And why do you want to attack us?"
"You'll know when we want you to know" Red X responded as he continued to close the distance between himself and Bakugo
"I don't care what group you're from, I'll blow you to bits asshole!" Bakugo yelled charging another explosion but as he made the explosion it was too late as Red X was already beside him, Kirishima attempted to strike Red X but Red X kicked him into a wall before he could get too close as he wasted no time grabbing Bakugo by his left hand before quickly pinning him to the ground by his arm as his arm was still aimed towards him Bakugo attempted to send a explosion at him but Red X already knew he would try this.
"Big mistake" Red X declared before snapping Bakugo's arm like a twig just as he was releasing his explosion, Red X had snapped his arm in the direction of Kirishima which sent the blast towards Kirishima which sent him through the wall he had just been kicked into as Kirishima was just barely able to put his arms up and harden them to brace for the explosion. While the explosion did not kill him it still severely injured him as Kirishima did not have time to fully prepare to take the explosion head on the way he did.
Despite Kirishima being in pain, and his head feeling fuzzy, he was jolted back into the moment by Bakugo's agonizing scream as his arm was broken and the pain had finally set in, not a moment later he was punched in the temple by Red X hard enough to knock him out completely.
"Bakugo! You'll pay for this you bastard! You hear me!" Kirishima shouted angrily at the villain. Normally Kirishima wasn't one to get angry, but the sight of Red X hurting his classmate and friend made his blood boil
As Red X looked at him he made a gesture to Kirishima to come at him "You think you'll fare better than your friend here? Come test your luck rocky" Red X taunted.
Without a second thought Kirishima got up rushed him in his hardened state even tho he was charred and had visible burns and bruises throughout his body that were a result of the explosion, he continued throwing punches as Red X dodged Kirishima's attacks, Red X then proceed to make two x shaped blades appear on the back of his hands as they begin to spin at a high rate of speed, he strikes Kirishima across the chest with the blades cutting through his hardened exterior like it was butter and causing Kirishima to stammer back as he began to bleed
"You have a great defensive meta ability, too bad for you these can cut through hard surfaces with no trouble, not to mention you can't remained fully hardened like that for long I imagine, and considering those losers were giving you a hard time earlier your probably at your limit" Red X said as he created multiple red throwing stars in the palms of his hands and threw them at Kirishima but they all appeared to miss.
"Looks like your aim could use some work" Kirishima growled out as he prepared to rush him again
"Is that so? Looks to me like i hit my targets perfectly" Red X said as not a moment later the wall behind Kirishima exploded sending him flying toward Red X who kicked him straight in the jaw as parts of his hardening had begun to wear off. Kirishima hit the ground and groaned in pain, he tried to stand back up only for Red X to put his foot on his back and send him back into the ground.
"W-what kind of quirk is that?" Kirishima asked more to himself as he groaned in pain.
"Quirk? I don't have a quirk" he said as he opened his palm and shot a red X at Kirishima which grew larger and wrapped around Kirishima, restraining him"
"Don't bother trying to break out of it, the more you resist the tighter the restraints get" Red X said before looking at Bakugo who was out cold before he shot a red X at him that also restrained him in the same manner it did Kirishima, he then picked up Kirishima and began to drag him towards Bakugo.
As Red X was dragging them he looked over to see that several more league goons had shown up.
"Hey you caught them, good work man they got a lot of our guys pretty good"
"Wait, who is this guy? I don't remember him"
"Who the fuck is he then?"
"Not one of ours, that i'm sure about, id remember someone especially someone with a fit like that"
Before the villains could do anything Red X threw a smoke bomb before throwing several red X shuriken style weapons, the shurikens did not hit the villains but rather different parts around the building as he jumped out the window holding both Bakugo and Kirishima, as the villains coughed from the smoke not realizing that Red X had left the building with the two students as Red X landed on a street below.
Red X stared at the building and without warning the floor of the building they were in just moments prior exploded, causing the entire building to collapse with the screams of the villains being quickly overshadowed by the sound of the building collapsing and falling debris as Red X picked up both the students again and outran the dust cloud that formed from the collapsed building before stopping once he was far enough away.
Kirishima was wide eyed at what he had seen, he knew that the likelihood that those villains had survived was low.
"Normally, it would take more than that to collapse an entire building but fortunately for me that building was already unstable, seems to be the case with most of the buildings on this side of the facility" Red X said as he then looked toward Kirishima
"Apparently your friend here scored highest in the U.A. entrance exam, seems that didn't translate to actual skills in the field, if he was really that good he would have been more of a challenge and put up a bigger fight, it really is pathetic"
Kirishima then looked at Red X still wide eyed and spoke up "you killed those people! they may have been villains but they didn't deserve to die! How can you stand there and be so calm after murdering those people! don't you have any remorse for what you just did?!" Kirishima shouted out in frustration
Red X looked at him and remained silent for a moment before finally speaking "just be lucky I didn't leave you in there with them"
Kirishima looked at him still wide eyed and was speechless at his words as two Numerouses ran up to them
"Take these two to the center plaza" Red X said before seemingly vanishing surprising Kirishima as the Numerouses pick them both up and make their way to the center plaza.
Down in the center plaza, Gizmo's announcement had just rung through the facility as Aizawa backed away from the new figures that came crashing down in front of him. Shigaraki had also cut off his advancement to engage eraser head and glared at the NPCs that interrupted his game.
"Hey, who the hell are you, this raid was an invite only!" Shigaraki growled out
Shimmer merely glanced his way and smirked.
"Didn't you hear the announcement? We are class Alpha-1 and this little 'raid' of yours, it's ours now" She said in a very condescending tone. One that Shigaraki did not like
"You think you can just take this moment away from us?! We are the league of villains and nothing will stop us from killing All Might so if you try to get in our way I'll turn you to dust!"
At the declaration Shimmer let out a cackle as Mammoth let out a hearty belly laugh
"My god that has to be the worst name I've ever heard, gets funnier every time I hear it" Mammoth said
As they laughed, Aizawa meanwhile kept his distance as he eyed the new people, he heard the announcement and was playing it over in his head to determine what it meant. Obviously these people were more villains, more villains that somehow were able to enter the school unnoticed as well. There were at least three new villains he could confirm, the one who made the announcement, Gizmo, and the Hairy giant and the woman on his shoulder.
Seeing the animosity building between the villains, Aizawa took a few more steps back to prepare for what will happen next. That was when the giant noticed him.
"Hey, where do you think you're going? We haven't even gotten started yet."
"I agree" Shimmer said "allow us to introduce ourselves, I'm Shimmer and this is my brother Mammoth. YOU are someone we have been wanting to meet. See there's something we wanted to test.." as Shimmer spoke, Mammoth moved her to his hand before throwing her in a well practiced move
Flying through the air shimmer came down on Aizawa with an axe kick, but missed when Aizawa dodged the attack letting her hit the ground. As he did he activated his quirk, eyes glowing red and prepared his capture weapon
Upon hitting the ground in a crouch after missing her initial attack, Shimmer moved to put her hands on the ground and after a quick second realized her powers were not activating.
Looking up at Aizawa, Shimmer merely smirked, "Well theory confirmed. Eraser head was it? You have just become a person of interest."
Taking off from her sprinter's position, shimmer charged Aizawa who lashed out with his capture scarf.
Aizawa was thrown off for a split second when Shimmer charged him despite realizing her ability was gone, but moved to intercept. As his weapons reached her, he was surprised when she caught it and twirled acrobatically, evading every attempt he made to capture her, until he realized she got too close.
Engaging in close quarters combat, Shimmer struck quickly landing a few punches and kicks on Aizawa, but he managed to land more on her.
'Shes good, better than the goons I fought but it's not enough.'
As Aizawa moved to subdue and knock her out, that was when Mammoth moved. With incredible speed he charged and made a small leap forward toward Aizawa who abandoned his subduing of Shimmer in favor of dodging. As Mammoth came down, Aizawa, who hadn't stopped using his quirk, moved to cancel out Mammoth's.
When Mammoth landed, Aizawa was surprised to be hit by a shock wave that pushed him back a couple more feet and broke his eye contact and forced him to blink. Upon the contact breaking, shimmer, feeling her power return and still holding his scarf, activated her powers. A light blue bubbly glow shimmered around her hands and from where shimmer held the scarf it began to change. Going from a flexible but strong cloth the scarf transformed into glass as Mammoth shattered it.
'She turned my capture weapon into glass, and the big guy broke it, this is not good' Aizawa thought as he looked back at them and reactivated his quirk
Shigaraki who had been watching all this play out was scratching his neck furiously
"Those fucking kill stealers, this is my game, that XP is meant for me. Nomu kill them, stone guy you too"
to Shigaraki they were just try hards trying to interfere with his mission to gain some extra XP, and he wasn't going to let that happen.
"The black monstrosity took off towards Mammoth and Shimmer followed by Cinderblock who had previously just been observing everything. As Nomu went to kill Shimmer, Mammoth was there to catch its hands with his own.
"Yes ha ha, kill those npcs for interfering with the league" Shigaraki cackled as Cinderblock ran into the fight. Expecting Cinderblock to attack them or Eraserhead he was shocked when Cinderblock delivered a strong right hook into Nomu and launched it away from them and into the center fountain.
"What the hell are you doing!" he yelled
"What he's doing is supporting his allies, thanks for the help Cinderblock, your infiltration was a resounding success" Shimmer said as she jumped on Mammoth's shoulder
"What! Damnit you fucking cheaters, NOMU" shigaraki yelled as the Nomu once again got up and rushed the group but before anything else could take place multiple things happened in tandem. The most obvious one was the large shadow forming above all of them. Looking up, the villains and Aizawa saw a white boat flying through the air, before crashing in the center of the plaza.
Mammoth, Shimmer, and Cinderblock all got out of the way as the boat landed on the Nomu and dug a trench into the ground. As everyone stared at the boat heavy stomping was heard as they all turned to see the giant XL walking from the shipwreck zone.
Aizawa was immediate in activating his quirk, and having lost his capture weapon he was now nearly defenseless and surrounded by some rather strong villains and would not be able to take them all on by himself, but as his gaze laid on the giant villain, nothing happened.
'What's happening? My quirk isn't working on him! It did not work on the one called Mammoth either' as these thoughts ran through his head, groans could be heard from the ship and Aizawa watched as Midoryia, Asui, and Mineta rose up off the rails. Instantly his focus was on them, taking in their appearances. Midoryia seemed fine but his fingers were completely destroyed while the other two seemed to be sporting superficial injuries.
"Sorry about that guys but i've got some new info, but we can discuss that later, Jinx is bringing her prey" XL said as he approached. All along his body where small purple Orbs stuck to him as well as some people.
Following was a rapid series of events. From the main staircase an explosion near the top followed by waves of pink energy. Multiple people were seen falling down the very large staircase, notably were the students Hanta Sero, Ochaco Uraka, Mina Ashido, and Rikido Sato, who were floating through the air connected by Sero's tape. While they were reeled to the plaza floor by Sero, Shoji, and Iida were rolling down the stairs. In Shoji's arms was the fallen Thirteen, who he seemed to be protecting. Also launched down the stairs was Kurogiri, who quickly portaled away and appeared next to Shigaraki, breathing raggedly.
"Tomura Shigaraki, there has been major complications to the plan, the UA staff is on their way, a group of separate villains known as HIVE is broadcasting the attack live to all of japan"
Shigaraki started scratching his neck furiously causing it to bleed. "Dammit this isn't how this was supposed to go."
Walking down the main staircase, Jinx skipped merrily down until she reached the plaza. The students had seemingly recovered somewhat as Jinx walked past them to join her allies.
"She's so strong, we couldn't even touch her" Sato growled out as he got up
"What's her quirk? Everytime we made a move something went wrong" Sero added
"Guys look, its Mr. Aizawa" Ashido pointed out
From the boat Izuku writhed in pain from his broken fingers as he took in the sight of the plaza and everyone currently here. 'This isn't good, where did we go wrong?'
Livewire and Mist returned holding a beaten and battered Ojiro, who had visible burn marks across his body as Livewire tossed his body to the other students of class 1-A
It was then that Red X also appeared in the plaza.
Arriving in the plaza all at the same time, everyone watched to see the squall zone's dome explode outward as a giant shadow beast emerged with glowing red eyes. That was when Wykkyd appeared and threw Koji Koda towards Aizawa and the other students.
"What the hell is that thing" Jinx asked Wykkyd, who didn't say anything.
Izuku, Asui, and Mineta had made it off the crashed boat and over to their assembling class.
Aizawa recognized the beast having read the files on his students.
"Thats Tokoyami, his quirk is going out of control."
"Maybe that's a good thing, he might be able to defeat the villains, he's really strong after all." Mina Ashido said hopefully.
Izuku looked where Tokoyami was in awe.
"So that's dark shadow, I didn't get to see it during the combat exercise."
Everyone in the plaza watched as the mass of shadows started making its way towards the plaza. The beast destroyed everything in its way and running from that direction was Yuga Aoyama, who had been hiding in the trees and bushes.
With the chaos of even more people converging and Shigaraki screaming about unfairness, Kurogiri signaled any still standing villains to group up with them around the center fountain. The heroes were also converging at the base of the stairs. While the HIVE stood in between and stared at the mass of shadows.
"Anyone know what that thing is?" Shimmer asked.
"No but it broke through that smaller dome, so it must be strong" XL said.
"It's one of those snot munchin students numb nuts" Gizmo said as he arrived with See-More and Private Hive
The students were shocked to see Gizmo with how young he appeared to be.
'He looks like he's only around 5 years old, does his quirk just make him look that way or is he really a 5-year-old, if so, he has to have only recently' gotten his quirk a little over a year ago, he seems smart for his age, maybe he has an intelligence quirk." Izuku thought rapidly.
"Hacked the schools main frame, honestly it was easy, titans tower is way more difficult especially with Cyborg constantly updating, hey Angel do us a favor and bring the brat down to size" Gizmo said.
Flying in the air, Angel had been making sweeps over the entire facility. Responding to Gizmo's call she flew down and hovered in front of the out-of-control dark shadow. Everyone watched as her wings grew to a massive size then flashed a bright white light dark shadow was launched backward and decreased in size. Angel did this again and again until it was just a panting Tokoyami who she scooped up and dropped off with the rest of his class as she joined the hive.
"Alright is that everyone?" Jinx asked as a Rocket, Holocaust, Jr, Red X, and a group of Numerouses arrived dragging along a restrained Todoroki, Momo, Jiro, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Bakugo
"Yah, got mine luv."
"Peppermint here tried to fight me using ice, couldn't even give it shape and got frostbite from his own powers. Never seen such a pathetic ice user, Dad, Frost, Freeze and cold would be disappointed, if there isn't someone who could at least try to match us."
It was then that Red X chimed in "we are missing one, See-more, try and see if you can find the last one."
"You got it" see more said before he began to turn part of the high-tech device on his head as his eye colors change before appearing black and white."
"Uh oh" Hagakure mumbled to herself.
"I got her, the invisible one, haha too bad for her tho, I can see her skeleton with my see through vision" he said before he turned part of his helmet again and this time his eye turned blue before it shot out in the direction of Hagakure and seemed to capture her as it floated to where the other students of class 1-A
As Alpha-1 conversed, Aizawa gathered his students.
"Are you all alright, Ashido melt the ice binding Todoroki."
"Yes sir" she responded as she began to melt the ice.
"Mr. Aizawa, these villains are really strong it seems like none of us could beat them."
"I know, for now are best bet is to remain together until All Might and the other teachers arrive, according to the one they call Gizmo they are broadcasting this across Japan"
"Do you think we still have a chance to beat these villains" Sero asked
"I don't know"
"Maybe Hagakure was able to beat the villains that were waiting for her, or sneak past them, maybe she has a plan" Ochaco said worriedly only for her hopes to be brought crashing down as the floating blue eye floated toward them dropping Hagakure out of it and with the other U.A. students
"ow.." Hagakure groaned as Uraraka helped her up.
A loud crash was heard as Nomu tore through the boat that landed on it, much to Shigaraki's delight.
"Finally, Nomu go kill those, uninvited npcs" Shigaraki growled as he pointed at the Alpha-1 students
The Nomu screeched as it charged only to be met by Mammoth. The two locked fists and engaged in a test of strength, the ground beneath them cracking.
"Nomu, what the hell are you doing?! Kill them! You're meant to kill All Might so kill these nobodies!"
"What's the matter handsy? upset your little pet can't match Mammoth's raw strength. If this thing is supposed to kill all munch, then we have this in the bag." Gizmo said
"What do you mean?" Kurogiri asked
Gizmo merely smirked as his drones circled the plaza, turning to one he started to speak
"All right, listen up Japan and listen good. We are Alpha-1 the top class of the HIVE Academy, the world's one and only villains school, that's right rot for brains, villain school"
Back in the city with Mt Lady, Kamui and Death Arms along with hundreds of civilians in the city seemed to come to a halt with everyone watching the broadcast.
"Our purpose today was to show you all what our school can provide. You've seen my classmates utterly destroy the pathetic U.A. munch heads and soon we'll wipe the floor with the pathetic heroes that think they can call themselves teachers."
It was then that Jinx stepped in.
"When they get here, we'll show the world what real villains are like and it's all thanks to HIVE that we can do so. At our school we live free to be who are and do whatever we want"
In another part of Japan, a young girl with her hair done up in buns is staring with all of her attention on her phone.
'A school where I can be myself'
"And what we want to do right now is show you that your symbol of peace is nothing but a big fat joke. Peace is an unattainable status that this world will never reach and for one man to claim himself its symbol is arrogance at its finest."
In a dark hidden place, a man surrounded by medical machines can't help but smirk. This wasn't the plan, but it was certainly entertaining, and he would very much like to see where this goes.
In another place, this time an office overlooking a city, a man with a pointed nose and widows peak watches on a large screen with others sitting at a long business table.
elsewhere a tall man with green hair that had streaks of yellow wearing a business suit and glasses watches the display with a serious look on his face.
Finally, atop a building a man dressed in rags sits in the shadows watching the broadcast on a large news screen attached to a building. The man growls at the words Jinx says and he tightens his grip on the sword at his side.
Unknown to him, another figure hides even deeper in the shadows watching him. This figure has no notable features, wearing all black ninja-esk clothes aside from a face mask that looked like a tiger and seemed to shine as if made of bronze.
Back at the USJ, Jinx wraps up their little speech
"So come on down All Might, show us what this world's number one hero can do" she finishes and the rest of the hive aside from Mammoth turn to the staircase.
Everyone else looks as well, as Gizmo's drones show to Japan that All Might has just arrived.
