Chapter 4
Clefairy and the Moonstone
Last time, Ash and Pikachu faced their toughest challenge yet, a match against a Pokémon gym leader. Both Ash won a Boulder Badge, his first step in competing in the Pokémon League Championship. Joined by Ami Mizuno, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino, Rei Hino and Usagi Tsukino, Ash and his friends continue their journey. But as they left Pewter City, little did they suspect that their next adventure would be out of this world.
Ash and his friends hike on Route 3 toward Mt. Moon. Many strange and astonishing tales have been told about this mysterious place. And the group's about to discover that all of them are true.
"Mt. Moon." Said Usagi with excitement "Doesn't the name sound romantic?"
"It does." Makoto said dreamily
"I think it does." Said Rei "I can imagine spending some time watching the stars from the peak."
"You're really getting wild ideas in your head, aren't you?" Asked Minako
"What Wild ideas?" Snapped Rei "Don't be ridiculous!"
"People say that a huge meteor crashed into the mountain back in prehistoric times." Replied Ami
"A Meteor?" Asked Ash
"The meteor is called the Moon Stone." Ami went on
"I've heard that rare Pokémon live inside Mt. Moon." Rei replied "And some things about the Moon Stone, like some fragments of it went soaring all over the world upon impact."
"Now that sounds romantic." Minako sighed dreamily
Before Ami and Rei could say anything else the gang and Pikachu heard a scream come by at the entrance of Mt. Moon and they all head over to see what's going on and a swarm of blue, bat-like Pokémon. While it lacks eyes, it has pointed ears with purple insides and a mouth with two sharp teeth on each jaw. A male will have larger fangs than a female. It has purple wing membranes supported by two, elongated fingers, and two long, thin, tails came out of the cave and are attacking an innocent scientist.
"Ah! Bats!" Shrieked Usagi and hid behind Ash "Except their blind!"
"Don't be such a coward, Usagi." mocked Rei
"I Can't help it!" Whined Usagi "Don't be so mean!"
"What the hell are those things?" Questioned Minako.
"Those are Zubat." Awnsered Ami
"And they're attacking that guy!" Shouted Makoto "We've gotta do something!"
Ash then got out his Pokédex and Analyzed the Zubat that were attacking the scientist "Zubat, flying Pokémon with supersonic powers. Zubat live in caves and hate to fly outside in daylight." Suddenly 4 Zubat turned to the group and attacked them and the gang covered their heads
"Ah! Now they're attacking us!" Feared Usagi
"I'll scare them off!" Makoto said covering her head holding her Pokéball
"Don't worry girls." Said Ash "I'll do the job, Pikachu, thunderbolt!" Then Pikachu's cheeks light up bright yellow and electricity came out of his cheeks and the scientist looked at the group to see that they are saving him from the Zubat then Pikachu jumped up to the air and releases the electricity that was building up.
"PIKAAACHUUU!!"
The Electricity Shoot at Zubat electrocuting them all at once and everyone ducked down and the Zubat flew back into the cave in fear then Pikachu landed on the ground on his feet then the girls saw a Pokéball on the ground the Rei turned to Ash and Pikachu
"Ash, did you catch one of the Zubat?" Asked Rei
"Yeah." Answered Ash "I managed to catch one."
The Rei angrily huffed then turned away "I wanted to catch one!" She huffed "No fair!"
"We'll you snooze you lose, Rei." Joked Makoto
"Come on, let's see if the Guy is ok." Said Ash and he picked up the Pokéball that has Zubat inside the he, Pikachu and the girls head over to the scientist to see if he's ok and helped him up
"Are you ok?" Asked Ash then the scientist was in happy tears and threw his arms around the young lad
"Wow!" Said the Scientist while happy crying "You guys were the greatest! I'm talking super fantabulistic! I mean, two thumbs up! Way up! The best rescue I've ever had! If it wasn't for you 6 I would've died!"
"You're welcome" said Ash while Pikachu who is getting squeezed in between and his cheeks filled up with Electricity and electrocutes them
"Chuuu!!!"
The Ami goes over to see if they're ok "Oh my Goodness! Are you guys alright?" She asked
"I'm Ok." The Scientist said
"Ash looks okay." Said Makoto. "But, sir, try not to do that when around a Pikachu again, okay?"
"Sure." Said the Scientist "They say that man's best friend is a Pokémon, and with those two, I believe it."
"Oh. That's nice." Said Usagi
The the Scientist jumped with joy "I'm so moved! Such friendship I thought I'd never see when the Zubat began attacking me. I thought I was done for, but who should arrive? Some heroes, thanks to whom, I'm alive! I'M ALIVE! Thank you so much! Thank you!" Thanked Ash and the Girls
"I think that means he's grateful for us saving him." Said Usagi
"Did I mention how grateful I am?" Said the Scientist
"You're kinda creeping us out." Said Rei
"Yeah. Um, anyway, why were the Zubat attacking you, mister?" Asked Ash
"Never Call me mister! Never call me mister! My name is Seymour. the Scientist. Knowledge. Research. I'm Seymour the Scientist!" Gasped Seymour
"Pleased to meet you, Seymour" Said Ami "My name is Ami and these are my friends, Usagi, Rei, Mako, Minako and Ash. But what are you doing out here?"
"Follow me, I'll show you." Seymour said,
They all head to inside of Mt. Moon cave to see that the top has lanterns to see that they are making the Pokémon confused and upsetting them. Everyone looked around to see some orange, insectoid Pokémon that resembles the nymph stage of a cicada. Its ovoid body is segmented, and it has three pairs of legs. The foremost pair of legs is the largest and has sharp claws at the tips. There are five specks on its forehead and three teeth on either side of its mouth. It has circular eyes with large pseudopupils as they plant their Mushrooms.
"See? The cave is all lit up inside." Seymour explained "Somebody has strung these lights through the whole cave. But the Pokémon in this cave need the dark. These lights are upsetting them and making them confused."
"Which is probably why the Zubat left the cave and attacked you." Ami said
"Look here." said Seymour "These Paras are planting their mushrooms everywhere."
"Paras aren't supposed to do that." Pointed out Rei
"And the hot lights are drying up these Sandshrew." Said Saymour
Sandshrew is a bipedal mammalian Pokémon, Its brick-patterned yellow hide is dry, tough, blends in with desert sand, and protects its soft white underbelly and muzzle. Sandshrew has blue, almond-shaped eyes, a pointed snout, and triangular ears with white insides. Its tail is thick and conical. It has two long claws on each foot and three sharp claws on its forepaws, which are used to burrow.
"Even though some Sandshrew live in the desert, they still need to keep cool by burrowing underground or by hanging out in a dark, wet, and cool cave. And let me guess, all this is connected with you. Right, Seymour?" Asked Makoto
"Right." Said Seymour "That's why I'm here. On patrol to protect the mountain from the troublemakers' attacks against these caves."
"Troublemakers?" Asked Minako "Why attack a cave?"
"To steal the Moon stone." Answered Seymour
"The Moon Stone?" Asked Usagi
"Exactly." Seymour explained "The Moon Stone is an awesome boulder, a million years old or even older. Deep in these caves the meteor hides, though no explorer has found the place of the legendary rock from space. We've studied it's fragments for many an hour, and discovered it increases a Pokémon's power. And that is why the attackers are here. They've come to take the Moon Stone, or so I fear."
"Take the Moon Stone?" Asked Ash
"Well, I did some research of my own, and it's the core of the Moon Stone the thieves are after." Said Ami.
"The core?" Asked Minako curiosity
"Exactly." Said Ami "And only a select few Pokémon gain power from just a single fragment of it, enough power to make them evolve."
"You are quite Intelligent, Young lady." Said Seymour
Ami then blushed and Smiled "Thank you, Seymour"
"Ever since I was a little boy, I've believed that Pokémon came to Earth from outer space." Said Seymour
Everyone looked at Seymour confusingly "Outer Space?" They said
"Yes. And where, you ask, is the spacecraft that brought them here? In this cave. It's the Moon Stone." Seymour explained
"It sure is an original theory." Makoto said
"But don't you see?" Seymour went on "It means that the Moon Stone belongs to the Pokémon. We humans must not take it from them! You agree with me, don't you?"
Before everyone can answer the heard something come by it was a Clefairy, a bipedal, pink Pokémon with a chubby, vaguely star-shaped body. A small, pointed tooth protrudes from the upper left corner of its mouth. It has wrinkles beside its black, oval eyes, a single dark pink oval marking on each cheek, and large, pointed ears with brown tips. A tuft of fur curls over its forehead, much like its large, upward-curling tail. Each stocky arm has two small claws and a thumb on each hand and both feet have a single toenail. There is a pair of tiny, butterfly-shaped wings on its back. It's hoping along past the group holding a rock and everyone notices and Rei gets out her Pokédex and analyzed it and it said "Clefairy, the Fairy Pokémon. This impish Pokémon is friendly, peaceful, and shy. It is believed to live inside Mount Moon, although very few have ever been seen by humans."
"Their shy nature is why few humans have ever seen them, including me." Said Ami "it's looks so cute."
"I never seen one this precious!" Said Makoto happily
"I have one." Usagi said holding a her Pokéball and releases her Clefairy "Come on out, Clefairy!" And Usagi's Clefairy was brought out
"Wow, Usagi." Said Ash "I never knew that you had a Clefairy until now."
Usagi then turned to Ash and smiled "I got mine as a Starter, While my friends has an Eevee as their starters." She smiled "Ami was able to get a Vaporeon."
Rei turned to Ash not angry at him anymore "Why don't you catch one, Ash?"
But before Ash could Seymour stopped him and the Clefairy hoped away without being disturbed everyone looked dumbfoundingly at Seymour at why did he do that
"What was that about?" Rei asked
"I'm Sorry," apologized Seymour "but it's best if you just let it stay here. I hope you understand."
"No argument from me." Said Makoto
"Sure, Seymour." Ash said "I understand."
But before they could walk deeper in the cave trying to get to the other side they heard a cry from Clefairy meaning that Clefairy needs help Ash, Pikachu Seymour and the girls hurry to Clefairy to help only to come across Jessie and James from Team Rocket, with their Meowth.
Meowth is a small, feline Pokémon with cream-colored fur that turns brown at the tips of its hind paws and tail. Its ovoid head features four prominent whiskers, wide eyes with slit pupils, two pointed teeth in the upper jaw, and a gold koban coin embedded in its forehead. Its ears are black with brown interiors and are flanked with an additional pair of long whiskers.
Ami looked at Clefairy and calmed it down "Are you ok, Clefairy?" She asked and Clefairy nodded meaning it's ok
"W-who the hell are you 3?!" Asked Ash angrily
Jessie would laughed mockingly "allow us to introduce ourselves little brat and bratty girls."
"Damn it!" cursed Makoto "just tell us who you are!"
"Prepare for trouble." Said Jessie
"Make it double." Said James
"To protect the world from devastation."
"To unite all peoples within our nation."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love."
"To extend our reach to the stars above."
"Jessie." "James."
"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light."
"Surrender now or prepare to fight."
"Meowth, that's right." Said Meowth
"How can a Meowth talk?!" Asked Minako confusingly
"Ok, What do you 3 want?!" Said Usagi
"We want rare and unusual Pokémon." Said Jessie
"You're starting to bug us!" Said Rei angrily
"Isn't that cute? The girl's bugged." Teased James
"You put the lights in this cave!" Makoto yelled "It's your fault the Pokémon who live here are confused!"
"Aww What a shame." Jessie teased "How will we ever forgive ourselves?"
"We also wanna get our hands on the Moon Stone so we can power up our Pokémon with it!" Said Meowth
"With the Moon Stone in our hands, nothing will stop us!" Said James
"Now, let's squish them like bugs." Said Meowth
Jessie and James sends out Ekans which is a purple, serpentine Pokémon. Its eyes, underbelly, the thick stripe around its neck, and rattle are yellow. Ekans has three pairs of black lines encircling its body, as well as another line that connects to each slit-pupiled eye and curves toward its nose. Its large mouth has a round, pink tongue and no visible teeth. And Koffing which is a spherical Pokémon filled with toxic gases. It has vacant eyes and a wide mouth that usually has two pointed teeth in the upper jaw. However, a full set of teeth has been seen in the anime. Below its face is a cream-colored skull-and-crossbones marking. Several geyser-like protrusions, which usually release a mustard-colored gas, cover this Pokémon's body.
Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto and Minako turned to Ash tell them to keep an eye on Seymour while they go do something and they hid to transform Usagi held her cosmic heart and the girls held their transformation pens.
"Moon Cosmic Power!"
"Mercury Star Power!"
"Mars Star Power!"
"Jupiter Star Power!"
"Venus Star Power!"
"Make Up!"
Transformation Sequence: Usagi
Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact opens, revealing the pink heart-shaped crystal inside, waving her hand over it. It flashes twice and erupts in pink light. Usagi is now standing in the middle of a light blue heart that's spinning to the right. She stands one leg while holding up her arms and begins pirouetting in the opposite direction, going faster until, in a burst of light, pink ribbons envelop her torso and midsection, transforming into her leotard. She elegantly stretches out her arms, and pink ribbons cover them, forming into her gloves. She then raised her right foot high with incredible flexibility, and pink ribbons cloak it changing into her boots. The heart made of blue light then turns into a circle of sparkles swirling around her waist, forming her skirt and bow. Now no longer in light, Usagi spins around a couple of times like a ballerina, and takes a small bow. As she comes out from her bow, a crescent moon mark glows in the middle of her forehead. Then, a tiara appears bearing a gold symbol of the Moon, along with her earrings, choker, and her ordango covers. Usagi opens her eyes, her transformation now complete, and strikes her signature pose.
Transformation Sequence: Ami
Ami held up her hand as blue sparkles swirled around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright blue. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on it begins to turn, enveloping Ami in blue light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as a stream of sparkling blue water begins to emit from it, forming her leotard, boots, and gloves. A sparkling ripple, as well as a flurry of bubbles, expands over her body, creating a small mist of water that formed the rest of her uniform the same as Sailor Moon's but the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves were blue and bright blue. She turns around and then strikes her signature pose.
Transformation Sequence: Rei
Rei's hand is held up as red sparkles swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright red. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on the stick begins to turn as Rei is enveloped in red light. As she held up her pen while spinning around, long bright tongues of flame erupt from her pen, forming several rings around her body. The rings of fire tighten around her body, and in a brilliant flash of light, her outfit forms looking just like Sailor Moon's, but she is wearing red pumps along with a pair of red star-shaped earrings, the center bow is purple, and the rims of her gloves, her skirt, her choker, and collar are red. After that, Mars finishes with her signature pose.
Transformation Seuence: Makoto
Makoto's hand is held up as green sparkles swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into bright green. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end and the symbol glowing. It begins to turn around rapidly as Makoto was enveloped in green light. As she held up her pen while spinning around, long streams of lightning erupt from it. It encircles her body, forming an atom of sorts before exploding in a brilliant flash of light. Her outfit is formed, having to look just like Sailor Moon's, wearing green boots along with her pair of roses earrings, the bow is pink, and the rims of her gloves green as is her skirt, her choker, and collar. After that, Jupiter finishes with her signature pose.
Transformation sequence: Minako.
Minako holds up her hand as golden stars swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright orange. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. It begins to turn as Minako is enveloped in yellow light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as banners of golden stars emit from it. Minako then holds up the pen above her head as the banners of stars form a spiral around her body. They disappear into the ground, forming a circle of stars, and burst into more stars going upwards, enveloping Minako's body. Then Minako emerges wearing the same outfit as Sailor Moon's, the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves colored orange, her back bow, yellow, and her center bow, blue. She then opens her eyes as she struck her signature pose.
"Well little boy hand over the Pokémon!" Jessie said
"You're not getting my Pikachu!" Ash shouted "so get lost and leave the Clefairy alone!"
"Pika!"
"Get lost? How rude." said James "Let's teach him manners. We wanted that Pikachu because it's stronger than any other."
But then they heard a Voice "Stop right there!" Said a voice "how dare you intrude a Clefairy's home on Mt. Moon! That is simply unforgivable! I am the pretty Guardian who fights for Love and Justice. I am Sailor Moon."
"I am Sailor Mercury!" Said Sailor Mercury
"I'm Sailor Mars!" Called Sailor Mars
"I'm Sailor Jupiter!" Called Sailor Jupiter
"And I'm Sailor Venus!" Called Sailor Venus
And they came by Ash's side ready to fight team Rocket "and Now in the name of the Moon me, the Sailor Guardians and Ash..." Sailor Moon said
"Will punish you!" Said Ash, and the Sailor Guardians
"Sailor Moon?" Asked Ash "anyway let's take Team Rocket down!" Then the Sailor Guardians sent out their Pokémon
"Vaporeon, Go!" Called Sailor Mercury sending out Vaporeon
"Jolteon, Go!" Called Sailor Jupiter sending out Jolteon
"Flareon, let's do it!" Called Sailor Mars sending out Flareon
"Let's go, Eevee!" Called Sailor Venus sending out Eevee
Vaporeon is a Pokémon that shares physical traits with both aquatic and land animals. Vaporeon's body is light blue with a dark blue marking around its head and a spiky ridge down its spine. It has black eyes and a tiny black nose. There a white fin encircling its neck and three fins with cream-colored webbing on its head. One of these fins is on each side of its head similar to ears and one is directly on top of its head similar in appearance to a dorsal fin.
Jolteon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon. It is covered in yellow fur with a spiky fringe around its tail and a white ruff around its neck. Its ears are large and pointed with black interiors, and its eyes and small nose are black. It has slender legs and small paws, each with three toes and a pink paw-pad.
Flareon is a mammalian, quadrupedal Pokémon covered in short, reddish-orange fur. It has long ears with black interiors, dark eyes, and a small black nose. There are three small toes and a yellow paw pad on each foot. Fluffy yellow fur forms a small tuft on its head, as well as its bushy tail and a mane around its chest and neck. It will fluff out its collar to cool down its high body temperature. This high temperature is caused by its internal flame sac.
Eevee is a mammalian, quadrupedal Pokémon with primarily brown fur. The tip of its bushy tail and its large furry collar are cream-colored. It has short, slender legs with three small toes and a pink paw pad on each foot. Eevee has brown eyes, long pointed ears with dark brown interiors, and a small black nose.
Ash was amazed of the starters that the girls got "Wow an Eevee and the Eeveelutions!" Said Ash happily "One day I want to battle one of you girls"
"Clefairy, Take the other Clefairy and make a hop for it until you find somewhere safe." Said Sailor Moon
"Wow, Where did you get those lame ass outfits?" Mocked Jessie "From the lame Costume store?"
The Sailor Guardians were now cross "Are you kidding?!" Shouted Sailor Mars
"Let's teach them a lesson the hard Way!" Shouted Sailor Jupiter
The Ash sends out his Zubat and the battle begins
"Ekans, use Bite!" Jessie Comanded which Ekans used bite on Eevee much to Sailor Venus' shock
"Eevee!" Sailor Venus shouted "hang in there!"
"Vaporeon, use bubble!" Sailor Mercury commanded which Vaporeon used Bubble on Koffing
Meanwhile Sailor Moon's Clefairy lead the other Clefairy to a safe place and the Clefairy saw a giant moonstone in the middle of a big Hole on the top of the cave meaning that the giant moonstone fell in Mt. Moon from space and Sailor Moon's Clefairy couldn't believe her eyes and back to the gang they nodices that Team Rocket disappeared.
"What the hell?" Said Sailor Mars "They disappeared!"
Sailor Moon's Clefairy called the gang, Pikachu and Seymour and they hurried to her by the end of the cave to where the Giant Moonstone is and saw the Clefairy placed the little moonstones on the giant Moonstone and did a dance around the Moonstone and they cannot believe what they saw and found.
"Wow!" Said Sailor Mercury "This is so incredible!
"It's the core of the Moon Stone!" Said Seymour
"This feels like a dream!" Said Sailor Jupiter while her eyes sparkle
"Yeah, only we're all wide awake!" Joked Sailor Mars
"So the Moon Stone legend is true!" Said Sailor Moon and Ash
"Chaaa."
"No wonder Team Rocket wanted to get their hands on it." Sailor Venus thought
"Look!" Ash Called "Clefairy's doing something!"
"Looks like Clefairy is completing that circle of smaller rocks around the Moon Stone." Said Sailor Mercury "They might be fragments of the Stone that scattered around the area upon impact thousands if not millions of years ago!"
When Clefairy places its fragment down to complete the circle, the Moon Stone and the fragments begin to glow bright blue. Soon, more Clefairy come out. And one Clefairy wants to greet our heroes and tell them of their celebration Pikachu and Clefairy speak about what's happening.
"Hey, Pikachu. What's Clefairy been telling you?" Asked Ash
Pikachu explains to Sailor Mercury translates with wonder and amazement in her eyes and voice
"Pikachu says that this is a Clefairy celebration called the Moonlight Prayer." Explained Sailor Mercury "All the Clefairy in the area gather together with fragments of the Moon Stone, place the pieces around the core, and pray to it and dance around it!"
"That's wonderful, Mercury!" Said Sailor Venus "But my question is, why? Is it because the Moon Stone fell from the heavens?
"Then maybe the legends are true." Said Ash "Maybe the Moon Stone really did come from space."
"Of course! It all makes sense now!" Cried Seymour "Outer space! Pokémon and the human race will ride the Moon Stone into space! First to the moon, then to Mars, then together to the stars!"
Suddenly they heard a familiar voice "Stars? That's our cue!"
Everyone turned and it was Team Rocket and is about to take the core of the moonstone Sailor Moon's Clefairy told team Rocket in Pokémon language "You three, this is a sacred Clefairy celebration and you weren't invited, so leave, right now!" But Team Rocket refused
"So this is where you 3 dumbasses disappeared to?!"asked Sailor Jupiter angrily "You keep away from the Moon Stone or else we'll kick your asses all the way to the moon!"
"Kick our asses?" Said Jessie mockingly "Oh No, I think we've threatened."
"The Moon Stone belongs to the Clefairy, not to you troublemakers!" Said Seymour Nervously "Leave this cave at once!"
Jessie and James once again sends out Ekans and Koffing ready to battle Ash sends out his butterfree and the Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus send out their Pokémon Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon and Eevee once more to battle and Sailor Moon's Clefairy runs to battle while Pikachu keeps an Eye on the other Clefairy and the Sailor Guardians looked at Ash's butterfree
"Awwe!" said Sailor Moon "Ash has a beautiful butterfree."
"It's so beautiful!" said Sailor Jupiter
Seymour tired to charge at team rocket only for Meowth to trip him and causes his glasses to fall off. "Did you have a nice trip?" Meowth mocked
"Oh no, Seymour!" Said Sailor Mercury "are you ok?"
"My glasses! I can't see a thing!" Seymour said trying to look for his glasses and Sailor Mercury found them and gave them to Seymour "Thank you, Sailor Mercury."
"You're welcome, Seymour" said Sailor Mercury
"Koffing use smokescreen!" James Commanded as Koffing used Smokescreen Causing everyone to Everyone started coughing due to the smoke
"Damn you, Team Rocket!" Ash cursed while his mouth is covered so he couldn't breath in the smoke "Butterfree whirlwind!" Butterfree used Whirlwind to blow the smoke away to see Team Rocket is caught red handed trying to escape with the core of the moonstone
"Jolteon, Thunderbolt!" Sailor Jupiter commanded as Her Jolteon used thunderbolt on Koffing
Suddenly the Clefairy started waving their fingers in unison and even Sailor Moon's Clefairy started waving their fingers Soon, everyone except for Sailor Mercury starts moving their heads in sync with the Clefairy's fingers
"What's happening?" Asked Jessie "Why are they Waving their fingers?"
"I getting dizzy..." Sailor Moon said
"Us too..." said Sailor Mars, Jupiter and Venus
"I think I know what's happening." Sailor Mercury and Ash thought
"This is an attack the Clefairy use called the Metronome." Said Seymour while being dizzy
"Metronome's unpredictable, there's no telling what attack will come out." Ash said
"I've never seen Clefairy use the Metronome before. Seymour said "Who knows what will happen?"
Then the Clefairy stop, and then begin to glow brightly. This causes the ground underneath to go up in an explosion, sending Team Rocket blasting off.
"Damn it!" Cursed Jessie "the Brats managed to beat us!"
"Team Rocket's blasting off!!" Shouted Jessie, James and Meowth
"That has got to be one of the most powerful attacks I've ever seen." Said Sailor Moon then she looks up and notices something. "Look, up there! I think those are pieces of the Moon Stone coming down!"
Indeed, some pieces of the Moon Stone end up landing on some of the Clefariy slowly, causing them to glow and evolve into Clefable, a tall, pink Pokémon with a vaguely star-shaped body. It has long, pointed ears with dark brown tips and black, oval eyes with wrinkles on either side. A curled lock of fur hangs over its forehead, much like its long, tightly curled tail. On its back is a pair of dark pink wings; each wing has three points. Its hands have three fingers each, and its feet have two clawed toes and dark pink soles.
Ash gets his PokéDex out and analyzed it and Info came up which it says "Clefable, an advanced form of Clefairy. These unique creatures are among the rarest Pokémon in the world."
"Much like Clefairy, Clefable has rarely ever been seen by humans, due to their timidity and shy nature." Explained Sailor Mercury "In fact, since they have super sensitive ears that can detect sounds from over half a mile away."
"Mercury you're so intelligent" Ash complimented
Sailor Mercury blushed and smiled at him "Awwe. Thank you Ash." Sailor Mercury thanked while blushing
"The power of the Moon Stone did this." Said Seymour
"It's like I said, some Pokémon evolve when they touch a Moon Stone, Clefairy being one of them." Sailor Mercury smiled
The Clafairy and Clefable continue their Moon Stone celebration then the girls called their Pokémon back, turn back to their civilian selves and goes back to Ash while Seymour lead them to the other side of the cave Ash caught a Geodude and a Shiny Onix and Makoto caught a Onix that is bigger than most of them Makoto was a little Jealous that Ash caught a Shiny one but is amazed at his confidence then the end of the cave Seymour announced that he'll be staying at the cave much to Everyone's shock and surprise at this news
"Huh? Your staying?" Ash said "But Why?"
"It's been my life's dream to find the Moon Stone, someday I will travel to the stars with the Clefairy." Seymour said
"Wow." Said Sailor Jupiter "When you do get to outer space, I hope you remember to send us a postcard."
Suddenly they see a Clefable hop out of the cave and to our heroes and Ash, Pikachu and the Girls wondered why she's following them
"Clefable, you wanna join us?" asked Ash and Clefable happily nods yes and Ash accepts and Clefable jumps for joy as Ash held a Empty Pokéball and Clefable pushes the button and she went in.
"Welcome to my family and team, Clefable." Said Ash and then he, Pikachu and the girls waved goodbye to Seymour "So long, Seymour! Goodbye, Clefairy and Clefable!" Said Ash "I'll take care of Clefable, I promise!"
"Goodbye, Ash! Goodbye, Pikachu! And thank you all!" Seymour waved goodbye
As our heroes left Mt. Moon and on to Route 4 while waving goodbye to Seymour and the Gang came to a crossroads. One of them having a sign that said "Cerulean City"
"This road leads to, Cerulean City." Said Ami
"Looks like we're heading to the right direction." Ash said
"That means our next gym battle next gym battle is ahead!" Said Minako
"Wait, you girls got Bolder Badges as well?" Asked Ash
The girls showed Ash their bolder badges which makes Ash impressed
"Before we get to the Gym we'll train you, Ash" said Makoto "so you get the upper hand at the Gym leader's Pokémon and what weakness they have.
Usagi nodices some scribbles on the sign "Hey, someone scribbled on this sign, here Ash."
"Yeah, well, they say some kids like to write silly notes on these signs. How immature." Said Ash shaking his head "What's it say? "Gary was here, Ash is a loser?!" Ash then facepalms as Pikachu shakes his head
"Pikaaa..."
"Damn you Gary!" Ash Cursed "Come on Girls, we're gonna show that bastard Gary who's boss, come on! on to Cerulean City!"
"Pikachu!"
"Wait who's Gary?" Asked Rei "is he your rival?"
Ash and Pikachu walked to the path down to Cerulean City with Ami, Makoto, Minako, Rei and Usagi following them and Ash explained to the girls about Gary and they continued walking the path to catch up with Ash's rival. Is he running towards victory, danger, or disaster? No one knows for sure, so be sure you're here as the Journey Continues!
