Chapter 5
The Water Flowers of Cerulean City! Ash vs Misty.
Having left Pallet Town to be become a Pokémon master, Ash continued his journey, gaining skill, knowledge, and catching new Pokémon along the way. fierce Pokémon battles with gym leader Brock earned them both a Boulder Badge one of the requirements to enter the Pokémon league's district tournament, and Ami Mizuno, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino, Rei Hino and Usagi Tsukino joining him on his journey who have dreams of their own and with Ash supporting their dreams and the girls supporting his dream and after they pass Routes 3 and 4 and Mt. Moon they were able to make new friends But with his rival Gary way ahead of them, Ash Ketchum is still playing catch up. We can only wonder what adventures lie ahead.
"Man, the weather is so beautiful." Yawned Ash "Just feel that sunshine."
"So Your rival has so much Cheerleaders, Huh?" Asked Makoto "wait till he sees us and get Jealous of you!"
"And you getting some more Pokémon than him," joked Rei "that your almost gonna catch up!"
"Now everyone." Reminded Ami "When we get to Cerulean City, We have to check in to a get to the Pokémon Center to heal our Pokémon, get checked into a Hotel, Eat dinner and help Ash train for the Gym battle at the Cerulean Gym"
And they see the view of Cerulean City and the gang reacted with amazement.
"The city is so beautiful!" Said Usagi "Let's go!"
Everyone agreed and they head to the city to the Pokémon Center to heal their Pokémon he let the girls go first and after 5 minutes of waiting their Pokémon are healed and It was Ash's turn and he recognized Nurse Joy.
"Hey, Aren't you the Nurse Joy from the Pewter Pokémon Center?"
Nurse Joy giggled "I'm her sister's sister, you're Ash aren't you?" Then Ash nodded yes.
"Then you beat Brock in the Gym battle." Joy happily said "please go wait in the waiting room with your friends and you're Pokémon will be healed in 5 minutes."
Ash agreed as Pikachu got up on the tray to be healed as Ash as waited in the waiting room with Ami, Makoto, Minako, Rei and Usagi. Ami spoke
"Ash, I was reading the Guidebook about Cerulean City that the Cerulean Gym leader is Misty the water type Gym leader." Ami explained to Ash "The best way to defeat Water types is to use electric types like Pikachu for example, and Grass types."
"Yeah, So with Pikachu, You'll win in no time!" Said Minako with a Grin.
"Hey, Why don't you call your mom and tell her that we are in Cerulean City?" Said Makoto
"Great Idea, Mako." Said Ash
When the Pokémon Healing Jingle played Ash's Pokémon are all healed and ready to go Ash went to the counter where his Pokémon and Pikachu that are on the tray that were brought by Nurse Joy
"Here you go Ash," Joy happily said "Your Pokémon are all fully healed."
"Pika Pi!"
"Thank you Nurse Joy." Ash Thanked the Pikachu jumped to Ash's shoulder and Joy told Ash about the Cerulean City Gym and the Gym leader Misty the tomboy and A group of burglars that Broke into the store last night
"Nurse Joy, Ma'am," Ami said "We just came into town and why would a bunch of Burglars break into a store?"
"That's the strange thing about it." Nurse Joy guessed "I heard from Offer Jenny that they stole a massive vacuum and a giant hose."
"But what the hell would anyone want that stuff for?" Ash Thought "Cleaning Big piles of Crap?"
"A vacuum and a hose?" Rei said "Sounds like someone's planning some major house cleaning, or maybe planning to steal quite a bit of stuff."
"Let's go call Ash's Mom, Girls." Said Usagi
Ash remembered to call his mom when he got to the city so he got to the phone which the screen and the 5 girls followed him and back at the Ketchum house Delia hears a phone call when she sees her son she was happy to see him and he and the girls chatted with Delia for a few minutes and they Checked into a Hotel and Ash, Pikachu and Makoto got Room 3, Ami and Minako got Room 4 and Rei and Usagi got room 5
"Ash, you wanna train for your next Gym battle?" Makoto asked "I found a training spot and we'll get dinner afterwards."
"Yeah, Mako show me where you found it." Ash said
"Pika!"
They arrived at the training ground by the vacant lot with bleachers at the edges.
After 2 hours of Training Ash, Pikachu and Makoto are hungry so they met the girls at the Pokémon Center Cafe and they picked their seats and they chatted.
"So Mako, Where did you train Ash and his Pokémon at?" Asked Rei
Makoto blushed "O-Oh, at a Vacant Lot."
"Yeah it was awesome!" Ash smiled "we worked our asses off."
"Pika!"
"It looks like your ready for the Gym match Tomorrow, Ashy!" Usagi said with a grin
Ash immediately Blushed Red as a Cherry "A-Ashy?" He said "U-Usagi, why did you call me t-that?"
"Oh, I thought I want to come up with a very cute nickname." Said Usagi while blushing
"I kinda like it." Said Ash
"Pikaaaa..."
"Usagi, How about I give you a nickname." Ash said "how about 'Bunhead Bunny'?"
Usagi looked at Ash suspicious "Ashy, You're not saying it to make fun of me are you?" She asked Suspiciously
"N-No, I wanted to give you a cute nickname." Ash flinched nervously
Usagi frown quickly turns into a smile "I love that, Ashy!" She giggled
"Ash, Your very sweet to us." Said Ami
"Why thank you, Lovely Bookworm." Thanked Ash
Then the bluenette's face immediately flushed bright red as a cherry in embarrassment that Ash would give her a nickname and a cute one at that.
"L-L-L-L-Lovely B-B-B-B-Bookworm?!" Ami squeaked "W-W-Why did you c-c-call me that?"
"I wanted to give you a cute nickname as well, Ami." Ash said
Ami then giggled while her cheeks are still red "I-I Like it."
"I think our dinner has arrived." Said Rei
The gang had their dinner and Ash paid for it.
The next day Ash and the gang arrived at the Cerulean Gym which the building was a dome-shaped, brightly colored Gym with a gigantic painting of a Dewgong on top of it. The gang reached in awe and they all head inside to see that the hallway is like an aquarium Ami and the girls were amazed.
"Wow, the Gym's hallway is like an aquarium!" Ami said "it's amazing."
"I can see a Magikarp!" Gasped Usagi happily
"I can't understand it." Ash gasped "How can this be a Pokémon gym? And there are many rare Water Pokémon."
Minako heard some 3 voices coming "I think someone's coming." And they are the three Cerulean Water Sisters and congratulating themselves for the recent show
The crowd was totally awesome!" A voice said "Daisy, the dive you did was super."
"The practice really paid off." Daisy said
"Totally." Said a Voice
"Uh, Excuse us." Ash asked "we're looking for the gym leader Misty. I came from Pallet."
"Oh! A cutie!" Daisy said while falling in love
"From Pallet, he's the cutest." Said Violet dreamily
"Not just the Pikachu," said Lilly "But the Young man, Too!"
"I know, he reminds me of the guy who broke my heart!" Said Makoto dreamily
Minako, Rei and Usagi looked at Makoto with exasperated while Ami has a Sweatdrop of embarrassment while Ash blushed of embarrassment
"I don't want to interrupt but, can you show us to the gym floor, please?" The shy Blunette asked
"Oh, sure, allow us to introduce ourselves." Daisy said
"I'm Daisy."
"I'm Lilly."
"And I'm Violet."
"We're the Cerulean Water Sisters!"
"The forth one is waiting for you 6 at the Battlefield, Follow is." Said Daisy
"And by the way Swimming is like, our hobby, we make use of our good looks." Violet said "well I think us girls will be wetty girls." Then the Sisters giggled while Ash, Ami, Makoto, Minako, Pikachu, Rei and Usagi looked at them in embarrassment and Sweatdrops on their heads.
When they all arrived at the battlefield it was a huge swimming pool Ash and the Gang were amazed.
"Wow!" Usagi awed "this Gym looks like a huge swimming pool!"
"I feel like I want to take a nice swim." Ami said happily
"This is awesome!" Ash said
"Pikaaa... :)"
"We're glad you like it." Violet said "and the young Man is really cute."
"O-Oh, thanks." Said Ash while blushing
"No problem." Daisy said "3 trainers from Pallet Town wiped out teams out before you 6 came by we had to like, rush our Pokémon to the Pokémon Center."
"What the hell?" Makoto asked Confused
"Well our 4th sister is like stronger than us." Lilly said "Mabye after the match, how about a date with me and my 2 sisters, young man?"
"U-Uh, I appreciate the offer, Lilly." Ash said "But I-"
"Hold it!" Said a Voice "I'll be the one who battles him!"
The others looked at the girl who is the Gym leader and Ash, Pikachu, Ami, Makoto, Minako, Rei and Usagi cannot believe their eyes. they see a tomboyish girl with orange hair and a red Bikini.
"I'm Misty the Cerulean City Gym leader." Said Misty "I'll be taking the challenge from this young man from Pallet Town and later the 5 girls!"
Ash got on one side of the battle field and Misty got on the other side and Ami, Makoto, Minako, Rei and Usagi watch from the bleachers to see what type of Strategy Ash has got up his sleeve and the training that Makoto and Ash did pay off.
"Ok, Misty calls Staryu!" Misty tossed the Staryu's Pokéball and Staryu came out, which is a is a golden-brown, starfish-like Pokémon with five appendages. These appendages surround an exterior organ called the core. The core resembles a golden metal casing with a red gem in the center, which is held in place by a golden ring looped around Staryu's lower left point. If any of Staryu's appendages are lost or eaten by predators like Lumineon, it is unharmed and can grow them back with ease provided the core is still intact.
Ash got his PokéDex out an analyzed it and it says "Staryu, the core of this water Pokémon shines in a rainbow of seven colors. A core that is valued by some as a type of jewelry."
"Wow, a Staryu." Ami said "Good thing I got one, so Mako let's see the training that you and Ash did pay off."
"From what I can recall Ash caught a Oddish and a Bellsprout." Makoto recalled "so I guessed that Ash has got the upper hand."
"Huh?!" Shouted Minako
Ash however has Sent out Bellsprout "Ok, this one is a real Peace of cake Bellsprout, I choose you!" Bellsprout came out of the Pokéball, and Pikachu pouted
"Chu!"
"Don't worry, Pikachu." Said Ash "I'll be saving you for last." Said which that made Pikachu happy
"Well, as they say save the best for last." Said Minako
"Ladies, First." said Ash
"Ok, Cutie." Said Misty "and after this you and I date, Staryu tackle!" Which Staryu tackled Bellsprout but it is not out.
"Oh yeah?" Ash said with confidence "Bellsprout, Vine whip!" Bellsprout used vine whip which is super effective against Staryu which he is almost out. And Usagi and her friends where amazed.
"Wow, Ash seems to know type advantages." Usagi awed
"Staryu, use swift!" Misty commanded, Staryu used swift which did a good amount of damage on Bellsprout but he is still standing "Damn it!" She cursed
"Ok, Bellsprout" Ash commanded "Finish Staryu off with another vine whip!" Bellsprout used vine whip once more. And another vine whip knocks Staryu out of the match which Misty recalled back meaning she has one Pokémon left
"You're really good." Misty said "But here comes the real star of the show! Go Starmie!" She sends out Starmie which is a Pokémon that resembles two violet starfish with five appendages each. The front starfish has a golden formation in the center. In the center of the golden casing is its red jewel core, which can glow in seven colors and has developed to resemble a cut precious stone. The second starfish is semi-attached to the back of the first and can spin 360 degrees. This rotational action is how Starmie swims through the ocean.
"Wow, a Starmie!" Minako awed "I bet Ami would love that."
"I bet after Ash it's gonna be our turn next!" Makoto giggled
"The cutie is winning!" Violet cheered
"Hey, stop trying to flirt with him!" Rei snapped
"Are you 5 like, his girlfriends?" Lilly said teasingly which causes Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto and Minako to blush and hesitates
Ash got out his PokéDex and analyzed the Starmie which said "Starmie, the Mysterious Pokémon, the evolved form of Staryu. Much like Staryu, Starmie's core is valued as a type of jewelry. Some believe Starmie and Staryu to be from outer space."
"Starmie use swift!" Misty commanded Starmie used swift on Bellsprout and it was out
"Damn!" Ash cursed as he recalled Bellsprout "Pikachu, I choose you!" Which Pikachu ran to the battlefield ready to face Starmie.
"Oh, a Pikachu." Misty said "Hey Pikachu, your a cutie!" She said it to distract Pikachu, But Pikachu isn't buying it he is focused and ready To battle, while the girls are dumbfounded as what Misty did.
Usagi was confused "Why did Misty do that?"
"Is she trying to distract Pikachu?" Ami asked
"Ash, just Kick her ass already!" Rei shouted
"Starmie use swift!" Misty Commanded which Starmie used Swift which did a good amount of damage on Pikachu but not enough.
"Ok, Pikachu, use thunderbolt!" Ash Commanded which Pikachu's cheeks light up yellow lightning came out of his cheeks and zaps Starmie doing more damage to it Usagi and other ducked for cover not to get electrocuted and Starmie is out.
"Starmie is unable to battle." Daisy said "Pikachu wins, which the Match goes to... Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town!
The girls got up and when they saw Ash win they cheered him on and are really proud "Well I guess all that training really paid off!" Said Makoto "Why to go Ash!" The girls ran up to Ash and gave him a group hug one by one and Makoto Picked Ash off his feet and held Ash into her arms casing him to blush.
"Wow, you're too much!" Misty giggled as she walked over to Ash "Here's the Cascade Badge since you raised your Pokémon very amazingly and you not only beat me, but you put up a great battle." Misty handed the Cascade Badge but before Ash could take the badge he won fair and square, a loud rumble it heard and the building begins to shake, Team Rocket bursts through the wall on their vacuum machine
"Come on!" Makoto shouted Angrily "Just when Ash won the battle fair and square?!"
"And when we we're about to have our turn?!" Rei snapped
"Sorry to break in on you, ladies." James apologized "Allow us to introduce ourselves."
"To protect the world from devastation." Said Jessie
"To unite all peoples within our nation." Said James
"To denounce the evils of truth and love."
"To extend our reach to the stars above."
"Jessie." "James."
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth!" Meowth finished "That's right!"
"Team Rocket!" Ami said crossly "I should've known it was you!"
"That's right young lady." Said Jessie "The water Pokémon have the advantage."
"But if we steal that water away." James mocked "Then the Pokémon are ours for the taking!"
"Let's suck them all up!" Meowth said as he pulled the lever activating the massive vacuum and the giant hose on the swimming pool and it begins to suck up the water from the pool and all the water Pokémon trapped in it.
As the Girls head over to the other room to transform Usagi held up her transformation brooch and Ami, Rei, Makoto and Minako held up their transformation pens and called...
"Moon Cosmic Power!"
"Mercury Star Power"
"Mars Star Power!"
"Jupiter Star Power!"
"Venus Star Power!"
"Make Up!"
Transformation Sequence: Usagi
Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact opens, revealing the pink heart-shaped crystal inside, waving her hand over it. It flashes twice and erupts in pink light. Usagi is now standing in the middle of a light blue heart that's spinning to the right. She stands one leg while holding up her arms and begins pirouetting in the opposite direction, going faster until, in a burst of light, pink ribbons envelop her torso and midsection, transforming into her leotard. She elegantly stretches out her arms, and pink ribbons cover them, forming into her gloves. She then raised her right foot high with incredible flexibility, and pink ribbons cloak it changing into her boots. The heart made of blue light then turns into a circle of sparkles swirling around her waist, forming her skirt and bow. Now no longer in light, Usagi spins around a couple of times like a ballerina, and takes a small bow. As she comes out from her bow, a crescent moon mark glows in the middle of her forehead. Then, a tiara appears bearing a gold symbol of the Moon, along with her earrings, choker, and her ordango covers. Usagi opens her eyes, her transformation now complete, and strikes her signature pose.
Transformation Sequence: Ami
Ami held up her hand as blue sparkles swirled around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright blue. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on it begins to turn, enveloping Ami in blue light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as a stream of sparkling blue water begins to emit from it, forming her leotard, boots, and gloves. A sparkling ripple, as well as a flurry of bubbles, expands over her body, creating a small mist of water that formed the rest of her uniform the same as Sailor Moon's but the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves were blue and bright blue. She turns around and then strikes her signature pose.
Transformation Sequence: Rei
Rei's hand is held up as red sparkles swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright red. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on the stick begins to turn as Rei is enveloped in red light. As she held up her pen while spinning around, long bright tongues of flame erupt from her pen, forming several rings around her body. The rings of fire tighten around her body, and in a brilliant flash of light, her outfit forms looking just like Sailor Moon's, but she is wearing red pumps along with a pair of red star-shaped earrings, the center bow is purple, and the rims of her gloves, her skirt, her choker, and collar are red. After that, Mars finishes with her signature pose.
Transformation Seuence: Makoto
Makoto's hand is held up as green sparkles swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into bright green. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end and the symbol glowing. It begins to turn around rapidly as Makoto was enveloped in green light. As she held up her pen while spinning around, long streams of lightning erupt from it. It encircles her body, forming an atom of sorts before exploding in a brilliant flash of light. Her outfit is formed, having to look just like Sailor Moon's, wearing green boots along with her pair of roses earrings, the bow is pink, and the rims of her gloves green as is her skirt, her choker, and collar. After that, Jupiter finishes with her signature pose.
Transformation sequence: Minako.
Minako holds up her hand as golden stars swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright orange. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. It begins to turn as Minako is enveloped in yellow light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as banners of golden stars emit from it. Minako then holds up the pen above her head as the banners of stars form a spiral around her body. They disappear into the ground, forming a circle of stars, and burst into more stars going upwards, enveloping Minako's body. Then Minako emerges wearing the same outfit as Sailor Moon's, the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves colored orange, her back bow, yellow, and her center bow, blue. She then opens her eyes as she struck her signature pose.
"Our swimming pool!" Misty cried "They're sucking it dry!"
"And I think I know the reason." Ash said "Without water, the Pokémon who are inside will be sucked up and stolen!"
"Pika!!"
"That's our water!" Whined Daisy "Give it Back!"
"Ok,I should give it back." Said Meowth as her puts the machine in reverse and blows the water out all over the room, flooding it and The water from the pool manages to trap the others
"We've gotta protect the Pokémon!" Misty shouted
"Like, what about my hair?!" Violet whined
"You can worry about your hair later, Violet!" Ash said "But how am I gonna save you all and the Pokémon?"
"All right! Now's the time to suck 'em up!" Meowth said but before he can he, And everyone else can hear a voice up on the big diving board
"Stop right there!" Said Sailor Mercury
"The Sailor Guardians?!" Everyone shouted
"How dare you suck up all the water that the Pokémon are on and be stolen?!" Shouted Sailor Moon
"It's very unforgivable!" Sailor Mercury said
"We will put a stop to you're evil deeds!" Shouted Sailor Venus
"We know about your evil plans!" Sailor Jupiter said Crossly
"And we will chastise your plan!" Sailor Mars shouted
"We are the pretty Guardians who fight for love and justice!" Sailor Moon said as she and the other Guardians jump to Ash's side "I am Sailor Moon!"
"I am Sailor Venus!"
"I am Sailor Mercury!"
"I am Sailor Mars!"
"And I am Sailor Jupiter!"
"In the name of the moon, we and Ash..." Ash joins in and says with The Sailor Guardians "We'll punish you!"
"Pi Pikachu!"
"Let's send out our Pokémon, Girls!" Sailor Moon said
"Right!" The Sailor Guardians shouted
"Vaporeon!"
"Flareon!"
"Jolteon!"
"Clefairy!"
"Eevee!"
"We choose you!" The Guardians called as they send their Pokémon to battle
"Oh well, let's suck them ALL up!" Jessie said as she puts the vacuum back in forward and starts sucking up the water and all the Pokémon trapped in it. Including Seel, Clefairy, Jolteon and Flareon and Eevee
"Clefairy, no!" Shouted Sailor Moon
"Oh No, Jolteon!" Sailor Jupiter cried
"Flareon!" "Sailor Mars shouted
"Oh my god, Eevee!" Cried Sailor Venus
"Come back, Seel!" Violet cried
"Oh no!" Sailor Mercury Said "Some of our friends are in the current!"
Pikachu soon gets knocked into the pool by the current and gets dragged towards the center causing the girls and Ash to panic.
"Pikachu, No!" Ash shouted
"Oh No! Pikachu!" Sailor Mercury shouted
Then Ash had an idea "Hey, wait a second." Ash said "Water conducts electricity! Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"
"Pikachu!!" Pikachu than launches his attack and electrocutes Team Rocket and Meowth which they scream in pain but shocks Jolteon, Flareon, Eevee and Clefairy by accident. Team Rocket falls into their own whirlpool
"It's times like these that make me want to go straight!" James said
"I highly doubt that one, James." Sailor Jupiter thought
"Crap, Now I know how it feels to be all washed up!" Jessie cried "We'll never come clean!"
Team Rocket then get sucked sucked down into the vacuum and get blasted out from the other side and fly off into the sky. while Seel, Clefairy, Jolteon, Flareon and Eevee watched as they blast off "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Shouted Team Rocket
Back at the building the water is still getting sucked up into the Vacuum and Sailor Mercury was caught in the current of the water and she and Pikachu are about to get sucked into the Vacuum
"Ash... Help!" Sailor Mercury cried
"Sailor Mercury, Pikachu!" Ash shouted
Ash then runs over to the machine and he pulls the lever and puts the machine in reverse, causing Pikachu and Sailor Mercury to fly out Ash ran as fast as he can to catch them and he caught Sailor Mercury in his arms bridal style and she is holding Pikachu in her arms Vaporeon runs over to Ash and thanked him for saving Sailor Mercury, which Ash smiled then Pikachu happily licked Ash's cheek then Sailor Mercury froze for a bit and looked up at Ash surprised.
"Are you and Pikachu ok, Sailor Mercury?" Ash asked
Sailor Mercury then blushed and stutterd "Y-Y-Yes, i-i-I'm ok, Ash" she squeaked then she giggled "it's just that Y-You save me and Pikachu."
"I'm glad that you and Pikachu are ok." Ash said "Lovey Bookworm." This causes Sailor Mercury to blush even more
"A-Ash, can you please P-Put me down?" Sailor Mercury stutteringly asked "T-T-This is a little embarrassing." Ash then sets Sailor Mercury down gently, Sailor Mercury's heart then starts beating fast because Ash held her in his arms but smiled anyway. Then The Sailor Guardians other Pokémon came back to them happy to see them ok and they happily thanked him for saving them.
Misty then walks to Ash "Ash, Congratulates on not only saving the gym and everyone and the Pokémon in it but for giving a great battle and raising your Pokémon well." Misty said "in honor of that here's the Cascade Badge." She then handed Ash the Cascade Badge.
"Thank you Misty." Ash thanked as Sailor Mercury approached his side and Misty Nodded and he held the Cascade Badge to the air "Ok, we got... the Cascade Badge!"
"Pi Pikachu!"
"All right!" Cheered the Sailor Guardians
"So Misty," Sailor Moon Asked "Can me and my friends have a gym match with you?"
"Well all of my water is back." Misty pointed "So of course you girls can starting with Usagi Tsukino!"
As the girls head to the hallway and turned back to their civilian forms one by one the girls challenged Misty to a Gym battle and Ash and Pikachu watched on the bleachers cheering the girls on and all 5 too won the Cascade Badge.
Ash and the gang head out from Cerulean Gym Misty and her sisters waved goodbye to our heroes when Minako saw something on Route 24 across nugget bridge
"Hey guys I think I saw something across nugget bridge!" Shouted Minako
"Well let's head over there." Makoto said
Ash and the gang took a detour to Route 24 to find that something Minako found could it be a Pokémon or a trainer to battle or even his rival Gary? Find out as the Journey Continues!
