Chapter 16
Chibiusa appears!? The Ghost Pokémon at the Summer Festival.
Last time, Ash and his friends have been on a faerie sailing from the resort of Porta Vista to continue their Pokémon journey. Minako told a story in a moonlit night where a figure stands on a high peak, it's the stone figure of a young woman with a red flower in her hair. Soon, that same girl appears outside the statue, but in the form of a ghost who says that she'll be waiting for her beloved then As the ghost says those last words, it transforms into a round ghost and its voice changes, indicating that things aren't as they appear to be as the ghost starts laughing. then suddenly the Gang sees Vermilion City and the townspeople are putting up the Summer Festival.
"Hey, Guys, Look over there!" Rei said
"You're right, Rei." Ash said "That must be Vermilion City, that's where we get off. We'll be landing soon!"
"And there's a Summer Festival coming up." Ami said "and it's going to be a lot of fun."
"Meaning the summer is gonna come to an end." Minako sighed sadly "I was really enjoying wearing my bikini."
"Speaking of which, Ashy." Makoto said "You really love us in our bikinis did ya?"
"Yeah, Be honest." Naru said
Ash's face immediately started turning pink "Y-Yeah."
"Rai Raichu."
"Oooohh... you admitted it." Usagi said teasingly "and you were blushing at Mako's the most. TeeHee. Because of her boobies are so big and Rei's boobies too!"
"And You helped me be less nervous about me wearing a Bikini, Ash." Ami assured which Made Ash happy.
"Yep, I did Ami, and i cannot wait for the festival and dance with you girls again." Ash said
"Pika Pi."
"Ash, when you see us in our yukatas, you are going to love us!" Minako squealed happily
Ami looks at Ash happily and then she saw a stone statue of a woman on a cliff by the ocean and is begins to feel a little sad then Ash cheers her up.
Meanwhile, far behind the boat and following in a bucket tied to a rope, Team Rocket is slowly sailing along and Meowth and James whined
"This really sucks." Meowth sighed
"Why do we have to be in a place like this?" James sighed
We couldn't afford any better, but that's ok." Jessie said soothingly "However you go about it, the sea's the sea."
Later, the ferry makes landfall at Madien Cape at Vermillion City and our heroes got off the Ferry and looked in delight of the scenery to see some concession stands, Karaoke and more.
"The ferry from Aopulco Island in Porta Vista has now arrived at Madien Cape in Vermilion City." The announcer said "At the moment, Madien Cape is in the midst of the Summer Festival."
"A Summer Festival." Ash said "You're right Ami, there is gonna be a festival and I'm pumped!"
"I'm glad you're going to enjoy it, Ash." Ami said "Let's go look around everyone."
"Yeah!" The girls and Ash said
"Pika!"
"Raichu!"
"I can't wait for the Okonomiyaki!" Usagi said "and having fun!"
Rei notices someone off to his left as does Pikachu and sees the statue of the girl and felt sorry for her. Then she sees disembarking passengers and got out of the way , but Pikachu notices something's off as he soon sees the girl turn into that same round ghost that looks like the statue and then disappears with a smile Pikachu was left confused then Raichu then pats him on the back.
"Pikachu?"
"Rei, What's wrong?" Ash asked
"Ash, that statue over there reminded me of the ghost that Minako told us before we got here." Rei said "I felt really bad for her when she died while waiting for her love."
"It's really heartbreaking." Ash said sadly
"A maiden was in love with one of the soldiers who was sent to war, and she swore to wait on the cliff until her love returned, but he never did. According to legend, she died while standing there, and her body became a part of the cliff itself." Ami said "But come on, think happy thoughts, we're at a festival now let's go look around."
Meanwhile, Team Rocket pulls themselves up onto the dock and they see that there's a festival going on. Jessie come up with a plan while James gets distracted by the Madien statue and the Ghost girl appears and he starts to fall in love.
"If there's a festival, the people will gather and Mabye they'll drop money that'll scatter, if they don't drop any, we'll just take it rather." Jessie said
"Coins before Kittens." Meowth said
Jessie walked James upside the head "What are you gawking at?" Jessie asked "It's time to make a living! This is a festival! Let's go."
James turns to look at the girl again, but she disappeared. And then he snaps out of it and runs to Jessie and Meowth.
Meanwhile, at the festival, a parade is going on and our heroes are having a wonderful time and even Usagi and Minako since they are the most excited out of the group and Ash, Ami, Rei, Makoto, Pikachu, Raichu, Naru, Luna and Artemis were amazed by the setting. Then suddenly and elderly Woman approached our heroes.
"Greetings everyone, beware of the Ghost of Madien's peek, beware of the Ghost of Madien's peek." Said the elderly woman while getting out a magnifying glass to get a closer look at the gang.
"G-G-Ghosts?!" Usagi and Minako shrieked as they hide behind Ash "Save us, Ash!"
"Raichu?"
"Calm down you two!" Ash said "What exactly do you mean by "beware of the Ghost of Madien's peek"? Is that this same girl Minako told in her story."
"She is mightier beautiful." The Elderly Woman said "more beautiful than anyone."
"Hold up, in my honest Opinion the girls with me are gorgeous just the way they are." Ash said while he gets hugged by Ami, Makoto, Minako, Naru, Rei and Usagi. "Anyway me and the girls are gonna get to the bottom of the Ghost of Madien's Peek mystery."
"My time to shine." Rei said "and I'll teach you how to use a ofuda and meditating by the fire and sensing evil sprits."
"Thanks Rei." Ash said
"Pikachu."
"Heed my warning you scoundrels, heed it!" The elderly woman said while the gang keeps walking down to the festival.
"Normally I get the chills when I'm near some place that looks intimidating, but this is the millionth time it's happened! What's going on around here at Maiden's Peak?" Usagi said
"Me too!" Minako said
"Quit whining you two." Rei said
"I'm sure we'll solve this mystery." Ami smoothed
Meanwhile, Team Rocket is looking for dropped change but they have no luck until James sees a 5 yen coin until the old woman that the gang met earlier shows up and stops James.
"I can see bad things very well." The Elderly Woman said "You should be careful."
"You mean the patrol?" James asked "The Police? The Fire Station?"
"No, you should be careful of the Ghost of Madien's Peek." The Elderly Woman said "If you don't heed my warning, You'll run into trouble."
James says it's nothing new that he's always running into trouble with a woman mentioning Jessie when she hears this she was very angry and walks James upside the head and is about to curse as James until Officer Jenney walks by leaving Team Rocket panicked when She arrives and is about to know about their their criminal careers.
"Good afternoon." Officer Jenny said "When you're in trouble, dial 110! We even have a Visiting service! Oh my, you found some money. Even if it's a 5 yen or a penny, it's money that's been found all the same."
James then puts the 5 yen coin in her hand
"You did well to notify the police." Jenny went on "Could you come to the police box for processing?"
Jessie panics because she knows that Officer Jenny will pull up their files and arrest them once she realizes that they're part of Team Rocket.
"No, we'll leave it to you." Jessie panicked "Go ahead, so as you please."
She then grabs James and Meowth off and runs off rather quickly leaving Jenny confused.
Meanwhile, at the fabled Maiden's Peak in Vermilion City everyone including the gang with Pikachu, Raichu, Luna and Artemis. the announcer is about the unveil the painting. Team Rocket are hiding underneath the crowd.
"Exhibition!" The announcer said "We will now unveil the treasure from the shrine of the Madien. This painting is a treasure that's been passed down in the Shrine of the Madien for 2,000 years. We're only allowed to unveil it once a year at the Summer Festival. Everyone, ciew with caution."
The announcer removes the covers unveiling the Painting which made Ash get a vision of the Silver Millennium once again and the story that Minako told before coming back to Vermilion City and he gasped but he comes back to reality and our heroes, Team Rocket, and everyone else in attendance are amazed Artemis, James and Meowth starts falling in love with the Girl that's in the picture as Luna gets Jealous. The 3 are shocked that the girl in the painting is the same one they saw earlier and they try to approach the painting for a closer look, but the announcer stops them and Luna hissed at Artemis.
"Artemis, you dummy!" Luna thought "Why are you falling for that girl?! You two timing alley cat!"
"I'm surprised that Ash hasn't fallen for that girl." Makoto thought
"Hold it." The announcer said "This girl has passed away 2,000 years ago. The girl had a lover. But that man left for war on a ship."
"I'll wait." The Madien said "No matter how long it takes, I'll wait for you."
"The girl waited." The announcer continued "She waited, and waited, and continued to wait. But the man never came back. Even so the girl continued to wait. Finally the girl's form changed into a rock, they say she's waiting for that man, even now. Itself a 2,000 year old legend."
As soon as the story ends Usagi and Minako in the crowd begin to cry when they heard the story as Ash patted both of them on the back.
"That was so heartbreaking." Usagi sobbed
"The girl believed in that guy but never came back!" Minako said while her voice is breaking
Then Suddenly Rei begins to sensing an evil aura
"I'm sensing an evil aura," Rei thought to herself "That could only mean one thing... but could it be the ghost of Madien's Peek that elderly woman told us earlier today?!"
"Rei, are you ok?" Ash asked
Rei then looked at Ash and sweetly smiled "Uh, Ash why don't we find a place to stay for the night and I can help you in spiritual training?"
"Ok, Rei." Ash agreed as Rei and Makoto held his hands
"I've got a bad feeling..." Ami thought
"Where'a that rock right now?" James asked
"You don't know about the Madien Rock?" The announcer said "the Maiden Rock is not far from this shrine."
Later, both our heroes and Team Rocket are looking at Maiden Rock. Artemis, James and Meowth are still in love with the girl, Luna and Jessie are still Jealous.
"So that's the Madien Rock." Minako said
"Ohhh..." Artemis thought falling in love "It's so beautiful."
"Beautiful!" James cried "Right now, I'm feeling violently moved!"
"If that was a Pokémon," Artemis thought while trying to get a closer look when Minako stops him. "I wouldn't part from it even once."
"Artemis, Why are you falling in love with her?" Minako asked
"If it was me, I wouldn't let anyone steal her!!" James shouted while Jessie grabbed a hold of him "Not even Team Rocket!!"
"It's not like something that big can be stolen!" Jessie shouted
"She's Mine! Mine! Mine!" Meowth shouted "Pokémon are coins, treasures are Coins, so that painting will be all Mine!!"
"Not you too, Meowth!" Jessie said
Suddenly a ball that had a face resembling Luna's with an antenna starts floating behind Usagi. She immediately whipped her head around, but there was no one there. And Luna looked behind her to see nothing was there.
Later that night The girls, Luna, Pikachu and Raichu looked on as Artemis continued to stare at the statue and Ash shook his head of embarrassment and Luna is still Jealous. Then Suddenly Rei came out wearing her her red and white shrine priestess Miko outfit and Ash blushes at her. And Makoto comes out wearing the same thing as Rei.
"So Ashy, Do you like my Miko?" Rei smiled
"You like mine too?" Makoto asked
"Y-Yes, Rei and Mako You both look so wonderful and gorgeous."
"Thank you very much." Rei smiled and blushed
"You're so kind." Makoto said and blushed as well
Rei shows Ash the Shrine's sacred fire and he sits next to her and Makoto sits next to him.
"Ok, Ash close you're eyes and consecrate on the sacred fire and do a chant to sense an evil aura on the fire." Rei said to the boy. "And I'll use you to exorcize evil spirts with my ofuda."
Ash closed his eyes and concentrate and senses the sacred fire and Makoto does the same since she did so underneath the waterfall in her bikini which Ash sees. Rei smiled at him that she's teaching him spiritual training and Looked at the others and Naru sees that what Ash is doing. Rei then begins Chanting and Ash has a Vision of him doing spiritual training with Princess Mars and Princess Jupiter in the Silver Millennium and Soon, the wind picks up fast and clouds roll over the moon. Next thing you know, the doors the the shrine blow open, and the Maiden's ghost appears which freaks out Usagi and Minako and Ami, Naru, Pikachu, Raichu and Luna starts to get worried.
Outside Team Rocket are sleeping in their sleeping bags that are hanging from a tree like Kakunas then the Maiden's ghost spots Meowth after he spots it and screams in fright, and puts him to sleep.
"I wanted to see you." The Madien said "I wanted to meet you."
The ghost's voice wakes James up
"Huh? Who are you?" James asked them realized it's the Ghost of Madien's Peek. "It's you! So it really was you!"
"2,000 years ago, Huh?" Artemis said then he eels a presence behind him. He turns and sees the ghost and recognizes that it is the Girl and he falls in love with it.
The Next morning Ash, Pikachu, Raichu and the Gang looked for Artemis and Minako looks very worried and Jessie is finding James and Meowth and he senses Jessie around which means he is manage to sense evil auras like Rei taught him last night.
"I sense something, Everyone!" Ash said "Jessie?!"
"Pikachu?!"
"Hey, how did you know it was me?" Jessie asked sternly
"Rei taught me how to sense auras all night." Ash said
"That's right Ash." Rei thought "come to think of it, with Team Rocket here, I can assume that they're behind Artemis' disappearance."
"Cut to the Crap!" Jessie shouted "I've waited a long time to take revenge on you here after what you all did to me and Meowth and James back at Porta Vista and for the tall one for calling me 'Old Maid!' And I mean, you're not the one I want to see right now."
"What the living hell are you doing here, anyway?" Makoto asked
"Are you looking for someone too?" Usagi asked
Jessie is going to start her usual Motto by herself which made the gang annoyed and Rei rolled her eyes.
"Well Prepare for trouble, and make it double. Doing this by myself is a real drag." Jessie said
"She's doing that whole motto thing by herself?" Ami thought to herself "I think I know who she is looking for!"
"To protect the world from devastation, to unite all people within our nation. To denounce the evils of truth and love.." Jessie said while doing the Motto by herself
"To extend our reach to the stars above." Said a voice that's coming from the top of the shrine.
"Jessie?"
"James."
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!" Jessie said
Then James, Artemis and Meowth fell from the top of the shrine then James and Meowth finished the motto.
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight." James aid dizzily
"Meowth, that's right..." Meowth said dizzily
"Meow.." Artemis said
The gang and Jessie were happy that the 3 guys are back but they are dizzy and still in love with the Ghost Madien
"James, Meowth!" Jessie shouted "Snap out of it!"
"Artemis! Please tell us what happened!" Minako cried while holding him
"What got into these three?" Makoto asked
Then Ami and Rei realized that it was because of they have seen the ghost of the Maiden. Then Ash sensed the elderly woman from the previous day shows up. Everyone was Suprised.
"Huh?!" Naru said
"What I feared has happened." The elderly woman said "You all should've heeded my warning, everyone and because you didn't those 3 have became possessed by the Ghost of Madien's Peek."
"The Madien's Ghost?" Everyone said save for Usagi and Minako who turn a bit pale and hugged one another
"Did you just say Ghost?!?" Usagi and Minako feared
"I thought so, that explains why these two are in a trance." Ami said "we need to snap them out of it."
"Pika?!"
Rei had an idea she got out 3 ofudas and gave one to Ash and he recalled Rei wanting to teach him how to use one.
"I have idea to snap those two out of it." Rei said while holding 2 ofudas "Ash we're going to do this together and remember what I taught you last night.
"Right!" Ash said
They the. both concentrated "Rin, Pyō, Tō, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, Zen!" They then placed the ofuda on James' Meowth's and Artemis' foreheads snapping them out of their trance In The process.
"Evil Spirits, be exorcized!" Rei shouted
"Akuryo Taisan!" Ash shouted
"Where are we?" James and Meowth said
"Hey, Minako." Artemis said
Minako was thrilled and hugged Artemis softly and cried a little and snuggled on him making him blush.
"Oh, Artemis, you're back!" She cried
"Well looks like they're back to normal." Ami said
"Except those two are 50% normal." Naru said who are pointing at James and Meowth.
Then the Luna P Ball flew behind Jessie then she acted uneasy then she looked behind her then there was no one there.
Inside the shrine the Elderly Woman was telling a story behind the sacred fire that Ash, Makoto and Rei were concentrated last night during spiritual training as She, and Makoto were still in their Mikos and are sitting next to the Ash while Ami, Minako, Usagi and Naru are sitting next to him as well and Pikachu, Raichu, Luna and Artemis are laying down.
"Every year, around this time." The Elderly Woman said "Male travelers get attacked and have everything sucked out of them. They're eventually found here in the temple, in mummy-like states. That's the doing of the ghost of that girl who continued to wait for her lover until death."
Usagi and Minako hugged one another while terrified after hearing the story then Ami comforted them.
"It's ok, Girls we're here for you both." Ami smoothed "There's nothing to worry about."
"Really?" Usagi and Minako asked which Ami and Naru nodded
"Even so, if i could be with that girl.." Artemis said
"Aaand Artemis isn't cured yet." Makoto sighed
"Damn." Ash said
"I'm scared! You got to do something!" James feared
"But what CAN we do?" Naru asked "We're dealing with someone, or something, that's been wandering these grounds for two-thousand years since the days of the Kanto war!"
"It's not like I don't have a solution." The Elderly Woman said then turned to Rei "We'll let this young lady handle this, she has some ofudas to snap the two and the cat out of their trance. and if we put them all over the shrine, everyone will be protected."
Rei blushed and she as well as the gang agreed to help she states that she brought a lot then our heroes are placing ofudas all over the shrine. Then the Luna P ball distracts Ash and he looks behind him to see nothing was there.
Soon, night falls and the shrine is covered with ofudas Ash, Rei and Makoto are concentrating on the sacred fire and the rest of the gang are sitting aside and waiting for the ghost.
"If that ghost comes we'll be ready for it." Usagi said
"Be Careful you guys." Ami said
Then suddenly the wind outside picks up heavily, blowing away all the ofuda on the door and outside walls of the shrine and signaling the arrival of the maiden Ash, Rei and Makoto senses the Ghost is here.
"It's here!" Ash, Rei and Makoto sensed
The door blows open, extinguishing the fire and the others with the exception of Ash, Pikachu, Rei, Raichu and Makoto scream.
"I've been waiting for you." The Madien said
"Me too, I've been waiting for you as well." James said
"Meowth in love!" Meowth said
"I'm scared, I'm scared I'm scared!" Artemis thought
"Stand you're guard everyone!" Ami said
"I want to meet you." The maiden said
Soon, Meowth and Artemis starts levitating towards the ghost as Meowth takes a hold of a pole and hangs on for dear life .
"Why me?!" Meowth said "Help me!!"
"Oh yeah, Good thing I'm cured!" James said
"Hey, No fair!" Meowth cried
Meowth then loses his grip and he floats away Jessie and James chase after him and Rei told Ash to take Naru and watch over her and he held Naru bridal style which made her blush and he heads out to chase after Artemis while the girls inside can transform. Usagi held up her brooch and the girls hand up their transformation wands.
"Moon Cosmic Power!"
"Mercury Star Power!"
"Mars Star Power!"
"Jupiter Star Power!"
"Venus Star Power!"
"Make Up!"
Transformation Sequence: Usagi
Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact opens, revealing the pink heart-shaped crystal inside, waving her hand over it. It flashes twice and erupts in pink light. Usagi is now standing in the middle of a light blue heart that's spinning to the right. She stands one leg while holding up her arms and begins pirouetting in the opposite direction, going faster until, in a burst of light, pink ribbons envelop her torso and midsection, transforming into her leotard. She elegantly stretches out her arms, and pink ribbons cover them, forming into her gloves. She then raised her right foot high with incredible flexibility, and pink ribbons cloak it changing into her boots. The heart made of blue light then turns into a circle of sparkles swirling around her waist, forming her skirt and bow. Now no longer in light, Usagi spins around a couple of times like a ballerina, and takes a small bow. As she comes out from her bow, a crescent moon mark glows in the middle of her forehead. Then, a tiara appears bearing a gold symbol of the Moon, along with her earrings, choker, and her ordango covers. Usagi opens her eyes, her transformation now complete, and strikes her signature pose.
Transformation Sequence: Ami
Ami held up her hand as blue sparkles swirled around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright blue. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on it begins to turn, enveloping Ami in blue light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as a stream of sparkling blue water begins to emit from it, forming her leotard, boots, and gloves. A sparkling ripple, as well as a flurry of bubbles, expands over her body, creating a small mist of water that formed the rest of her uniform the same as Sailor Moon's but the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves were blue and bright blue. She turns around and then strikes her signature pose.
Transformation Sequence: Rei
Rei's hand is held up as red sparkles swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright red. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on the stick begins to turn as Rei is enveloped in red light. As she held up her pen while spinning around, long bright tongues of flame erupt from her pen, forming several rings around her body. The rings of fire tighten around her body, and in a brilliant flash of light, her outfit forms looking just like Sailor Moon's, but she is wearing red pumps along with a pair of red star-shaped earrings, the center bow is purple, and the rims of her gloves, her skirt, her choker, and collar are red. After that, Mars finishes with her signature pose.
Transformation Seuence: Makoto
The planet Jupiter appears, and Makoto puts her hand up, her fingernails begin to sparkle in bright green, and her transformation wand comes to her hand spinning, now having a different design. Her body now becomes silhouetted in green, as blue lightning erupted from her wand, while holding it up. As she spins around a few times, until stopping with her back turned, the lightning swirls around her, forming rings like an atom. The lightning explodes, revealing Makoto in her green Sailor Uniform wearing green boots, a pair of rose earrings, a pink bow and ribbon, gloves with green trims, and a green skirt, choker, and collar. Makoto then turns around, and in the middle of her forehead, her symbol appears, and her tiara materializes. Her transformation now complete; she assumes her final pose, her symbol and planet appearing in the background against a starry sky.
Transformation sequence: Minako.
Minako holds up her hand as golden stars swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright orange. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. It begins to turn as Minako is enveloped in yellow light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as banners of golden stars emit from it. Minako then holds up the pen above her head as the banners of stars form a spiral around her body. They disappear into the ground, forming a circle of stars, and burst into more stars going upwards, enveloping Minako's body. Then Minako emerges wearing the same outfit as Sailor Moon's, the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves colored orange, her back bow, yellow, and her center bow, blue. She then opens her eyes as she struck her signature pose.
Back outside Ash, Pikachu and Naru chased after Meowth when suddenly Jessie shoots a bazooka at the Ghost which causes James to fall in the water and Artemis to fall in the bush James climbs up back to Jessie and Ash, Pikachu and Naru went to Artemis and Naru picks him up and held him gently and pets him then Ash glares at the ghost and suddenly they hear a Voice.
"Old it right there!" Sailor Mars shouted
"How dare haunt us and try to take Artemis away from us?" Sailor Moon shouted "You meanie ghost!"
"I won't forgive you for trying to take my cat away from me!" Sailor Venus snapped
"I am the pretty guardian who fights for love and for justice! I am Sailor Moon!" Sailor Moon said
"I am Sailor Mercury!"
"I'm Sailor Mars!"
"I'm Sailor Jupiter!"
"And I'm Sailor Venus!"
"In the name of the moon..." Sailor Moon Said
"We'll punish you!" She, the Sailor Guardians and Ash finished
"Pi Pikachu!"
"But we're still so scared!" Sailor Moon and Venus whined
"Get a hold of yourselves!" Ash said
"Um, that's all great thinking, Jessie." Sailor Jupiter said "But you're kinda forgetting two important details about this girl, she's got psychic powers and she's a ghost! Meaning no attack can harm her!"
The Madien was very angry "The Sailor Guardians, You cannot interfere!"
The ghost uses her powers to call out evil spirits to frighten the entire group and even causing Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus to freeze up and Sailor Mercury touched one of her earrings and then a transparent blue visor appeared over her eyes, she also pulled out her super computer and began to type on it and analyzed the Madien to see it's really a Gasly.
"Ash, I analyzed the Ghost it really a Gasly a ghost Pokémon!" Sailor Mercury said "See if you can analyze it with your PokéDex for data!"
Ash then gets out his PokéDex and analyzed it to see no data Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus and Naru starts panicking when the ghosts rush for them.
"Damn! No data!" Ash grunted
"Keep trying Ash!" Sailor Mercury said
Ash points His PokéDex around until he gets a Pokémon in range, which is, surprisingly to the rest of the group, the Maiden herself to be Gasly, the PokéDex now says: "Sign a of a Pokémon present, Gasly a Ghost Pokémon. Normally, it cannot be seen its specialty is Hypnosis."
"Sailor Mercury, You're right." Ash said then turned to the Madien "So you're a Pokémon Huh?"
"It's no use if I've been found out." The Madien said "Atimes, I'm the legendary Madien, at other times, I'm the mysterious fortune-teller. Without displaying my true color, I'm a withered old hag. But my true form is. Gasly of Course."
Gastly reveals it's true form and makes the spirits from earlier vanish then Ash challenged the Gasly for a battle.
"If you're a Pokémon, then it's a Pokémon match." Ash challenged "Pikachu!"
"Pikachu!"
"Guys, wait! this Gasly might be as stronger than the others!" Sailor Mercury said "Stand you're guard!"
"We'll hypnosis affects Pokémon as well." Said the Gasly "You're an electric mouse right?"
"Pikachu."
"THE GASLY CAN TALK?!?!" Sailor Venus cired
"For a mouse use a mouse trap!" Gasly said while transforms into a mouse trap Pikachu runs away in fear, since mice don't like mouse traps
"Chaaaa!!"
Meowth then stepped in and Charges at Gasly "In that case, I'll go!"
"Do we throw coins before cats, or do we throw cat food?" He said "How about a catnip ball?"
Gastly makes a ball appear, distracting Meowth since cats love to play with toys made just for cats. Making Jessie and James shake their heads. Jessie then sends out Ekans.
"Ekans, Go!" Jessie commanded
"For a snake, the snake's enemy is a mongoose!" The Gasly said while transforms into a mongoose causing Ekans runs away in fear after initially coiling around Gastly.
Jessie tags James meaning it's his turn and he sends out Koffing and commands it to use Poison Gas but the Mongoose stomps its foot on Koffing while wearing a gas mask, essentially knocking it out.
"Jolteon, Let's go!" Sailor Jupiter said while sending him out
Unfortunately Gasly turned into a Boulder and it scares off Jolteon cause Rock types are weak against Electric types.
"And for the tall Guardian, Airplanes!" Gasly said "Have a safe flight! Ha! Ha! Ha!"
When Sailor Jupiter hears that word and sees an Airplane coming at her and Jolteon then her face went pale with horror, and her heart began to pound as she ran away.
"NO, NO, NO, NO! ANYTHING BUT AN AIRPLANE!!!" Sailor Jupiter screeched with fright. Then hid behind Ash "ASHY, DO SOMETHING!!"
"Ok Sailor Mars, you and me." Ash said "Charmander!"
"Flareon!"
"We choose you!" The both said
They both sent out their fire type Pokémon and Ash's Shiny Charmander's sparkle came out when it materializes.
"For Fire, a Fire extinguisher!" Gasly said while transforms into a fire extinguisher starts spraying, causing the two fire Pokémon to run for it since fire extinguishers can easily put out the flames on a fire Pokémon.
"Damn it!" Sailor Mars cursed "Gastly has a counter for anything! Including fire Pokémon!"
"And for the two frighten blondes, two big needles!" Gasly said "time for your shots!"
the two Guardians saw the Gasly as two large needles as they sinisterly laughed while leering at them, they gasped with shock as well as horror as hey begin to run away.
"AAAAHHH!!" Sailor Moon screeched "IT CAN'T BE! KEEP THOSE THINGS AWAY FEOM US!!!"
"I DONT WANT A SHOT!!! I HATE NEEDLES!!" Sailor Venus screamed as she and Sailor Moon hid behind Ash and Sailor Mercury "ASHY, SAVE US!!"
"What will you send out next, young man and Young lady with Blue hair?" The Gasly asked
Ash and Sailor Mercury sent out both of their Squirtles especially her Shiny One, Ash's Bulbasaur and Sailor Mercury's Vaporeon and Naru sent out her Shiny Eevee.
"Come on out!" Ash, Sailor Mercury and Naru shouted "Squirtle! Bulbasaur! Vaporeon and Eevee!"
"How pathetic." Gasly said rudley then turned into Blastoise and Venusaur. "Skipping ahead, we get Bulbasaur's evolved form Venasaur and Squirtle's evolved form Blastoise And just for fun, I'll combine them into one super Pokémon! To make Venustoise!"
Gasly had the two evolved Pokémon fuse together and become a mutant Pokémon When the fusion is complete the Pokémon that was sent out refuse to back down which surprised Gasly.
"The Pokémon are refusing to back down!" Sailor Mars said getting her 3 ofudas and gave one to Ash and Sailor Jupiter
"Your illusions can't fool us anymore, Gasly!" Sailor Mercury said "So surrender now!"
"Grrr... that's it!" Gasly shouted angrily and charged at them "Time to finish you all off!!"
Gasly lunged at our heroes but just before he was about to finish them off a couple of hearts shot at Gasly and the person shouted the attack.
"Pink Sugar Heart Attack!"
"Wha!? Who did that!?" Gasly shouted
The Sailor Guardians looked behind them, recognizing the voice, and sure enough, in the clearing just ahead of them, they saw a little girl with pink hair styled in ordango, wearing a sailor guardian uniform and had Luna-P floating next to her. And Ash and Pikachu also looked behind them and are unsure of who she is.
"Who are you?" Ash asked
"Pika?"
"Rai?"
"I am the Pretty Guardian Trainee who fights for love and justice!" the girl proclaimed. "I am Sailor Chibi Moon! And in the name of the future Moon, I'll punish you!"
Everyone was stunned except for Naru and Ash and Sailor Moon's eyes almost popped out of her sockets and Sailor Mercury covers her mouth in shock, Sailor Mars' mouth dropped knowing immediately who the little girl was.
"CHIBIUSA!?" the all of them except Ash and Naru exclaimed.
"Is she like your little sister or something, Sailor Moon?" Ash asked
"Huh?" Sailor Moon said "I'll tell you everything later ok?"
Gasly was more than to take on the little Guardian first "Fine, then! I'll just get rid of you, first!"
Sailor Chibi Moon then made a small rod appear in her hands, and took aim at the droid, spinning around like Sailor Moon did, soon coming to a stop.
"Pink Sugar Heart Attack!"
This time a string of tiny little pink hearts shot out from the rod, hitting Gasly in the face. It wasn't as strong as any other attack, but Gasly didn't like it at all.
Ash, Rei and Makoto then concentrated their spiritual powers focusing it all on the ofuda in their hands and took aim.
"Cleanse and dispel this yokai with the flames of purification!" The three called out. "EVIL SPIRIT! BE EXORCISED!"
All three fired their ofuda making it stick right on top of Gasly's forehead paralyzing him. And she used one of her signature attacks that Ash has never seen before.
"Burning Mandala!"
Her torrent of flames transformed into several rings of fire, which sliced straight through Gasly. Then suddenly he sees the sun rises and the church bells ring, much to Gastly's shock and surprise.
"W-What's wrong Gasly?" Ash asked
"What's happening?" Sailor Mars asked
"Even though I'm not a vampire, nighttime really is the ideal setting for a spirit." Gasly said while his voice is breaking and begins vanishing "Pleas don't forget about the ghost of the Madien by next summer."
Gastly completely fades away as the sun rises and after being defeated.
"What was that?" Sailor Jupiter asked
"With the coming of the dawn and the sound of the church bells and Sailor Mars' Burning Mandal, the spirits of the departed vanish." Sailor Mercury said
"May the Madien Rest In Peace." Ash preyed
"Pikachu."
"Amen." Sailor Venus, Moon, Mars, Naru, Jessie, James and Meowth said
Usagi and her friends explain to Ash that Chibiusa came from the future to train to be a full time Sailorr Guardian and leaving Ash and Pikachu amazed and Naru stunned and he accepted Chibiusa to his group. Later, the citizens of the town and our heroes set boats with lanterns on them out to sea as part of a festival tradition.
"During the Summer festival, people who have passed away come to see us." Officer Jennie said "and they go back on those lamps. That's an old tradition at this port."
On one boat, sits Gastly in the form of the Maiden, but he then turns into the elderly woman and the real ghost of the maiden appears from her stone statue.
"Thank you very much, Gasly." The Madien said
"My pleasure." Said Gasly "I enjoy keeping alive all the old legends that people have forgotten over the years. And if I do a good job of it,"
"I'll count on you for next year, too." Said the Madien "I'll always be waiting here for the day I meet with him."
"Well, I am a ghost Pokémon." Gasly said "Perhaps, one day, I'll meet the young man you love. And if I do, I'll remind him that his maiden still longs for him to return."
The Madien fades way at back to her statue Artemis looks at Maiden's Rock one more time as Luna smiled at him
"Luna I'm really sorry about falling for a ghost." Artemis apologized
"Artemis..." Luna said while nuzzling on him
Meanwhile, everyone at the festival, our heroes, and even Team Rocket are celebrating the last day of the summer festival, with Jessie and James playing the drums and Meowth playing the flute and not too far from here Ash and Pikachu were lookin Up at the stars while he wears a yukata. He then sees the girls wearing yukatas Ami's is a blue one, Rei's is a red one, Usagi's is a pink one and so is Chibiusa's, Naru's is a purple one, Makoto's is a green one and Minako's is a Orange one and they are all smiling at Ash. With Raichu by their side.
"Sorry for the wait." Minako said
"So how do we look?" Rei asked
"Y-Y-You girls look so wonderful..." Ash blushed
"Pikaaa..."
"Aww." Ami blushed "Thank you Ashy."
"You really think so?" Rei asked while blushing
"I know so, Rei." Ash said "Thank you for the Spiritual Training."
"You're welcome, Ash." Rei giggled
"Come on everyone, Let's dance!" Makoto said
"Ok." Ash said
"Pikachu."
"Raichu."
"You're so cute Pikachu." Chibiusa said
"I think you should dance with Rei first." Ami suggested
Ash held Rei's hands and it made her smile at him
"Aww, you're quite a gentleman, Ash." Rei giggled
All of them head towards the crowd to dance and so, the summer festival draws to a close. There's autumn in the air, which means in the Pokémon world, there's no falling off lot can happen in a year's time! Who knows what new adventures, and romances, are waiting just over the horizon?
