Chapter 22

Mystery of Team Rocket's hideout. And a Gym battle too!

Last time in honor of Celebrating his victory at the Celadon City Gym, Ash goes out with Ami Mizuno and Minako Aino on his first date at the Celadon City Mall. He ends up giving the two girls a wonderful time, during the date Ami and Minako nodices the Rainbow Wing in Ash's pocket that it started glowing brightly, whoever has a shadowy heart the Rainbow Wing loses its color, however whoever has a very pure heart the Rainbow Wing glows very brightly and not only brings good luck, but grants a very special power, after their date the gang heads to the Celadon City Arcade to play some games when Naru presses the button behind the poster which actives a secret passage. What plan does Team Rocket has in store for our heroes?

When the gang went downstairs in the basement and Ami was right, it was Team Rocket's hideout that was split into three floors and the first floor has some offices and boxes filled with junk. Ami looked up the info on her Mini-Computer/PokéDex to inform the group on what they're up against.

"So this is Team Rocket's hideout?" Makoto asked "Why would an evil organization hide underneath an arcade of all places?"

"I think it's a very better place for them since arcades are what brings people to play along with their jokes." Rei giggled

"Pika Pikachu."

"Raichu."

"Everyone, I analyzed the hideout in 4 separate floors." Ami spoke as she typed on her Mini-Computer/PokéDex. "The first floor has 3 offices for Luna and Artemis to find some information on Team Rocket's plans and the floor has an elevator, unfortunately, we need a pass card to use it so in order to get it we need to defeat as many Team Rocket members as we can, but we need to be very cautious, as many Members can be tricky to beat and some of the floor in floors 2 and 3 has mazes and spin tiles that when stepped upon, they will move you in the direction of the arrow, depicted on it."

"Ami's right, and we have to be very careful as we could get caught by some Team Rocket members and especially Jessie, James and Meowth." Ash said "and I think they're waiting down on the 4th floor for us."

"Pikachu."

"Plus, Giovanni and Queen Beryl are waiting for us in the 4th floor." Ami added "and one person taking both on them will be very dangerous as they have something terrible waiting for us. So we have to work together."

"Ok, let's move out and split into 4 groups." Naru said

"Right. Ami and I will go in investigate on every floor, Mako and Rei go in floor 2 and 3 Minako and Usagi go investigate floor 1 for clues and Chibiusa and Naru will check on floor 4." Ash planned

"Chu?"

Suddenly Usagi, Makoto, Minako (even though Ash went out with her and Ami), Rei, Chibiusa and Naru stared at Ash and Ami and giggled, with Pikachu and Raichu looking on.

"Say.. Ashy, why do you always pair up with Ami?" Usagi teased

"Well, Uh..." Ash hesitated

"Are you going to kiss her?" Chibiusa joked

"Girls!" Ash squeaked "Quit fooling around and let's get on with the mission!"

Minako and Usagi had an idea just in case that someone else comes down to the hideout, Usagi got out her pink Disguise pen with gold rings and a red jewel in shape of a crown and Minako gets out her crescent compact with red jewels back when she was Sailor V.

"I got an idea Minako, we should use our disguise devices to disguise ourselves as Female Team Rocket members, just in case someone else comes down here." Usagi said while holding her pen

"Great idea!" Minako snickered holding her Compact "I still have this back when I was Sailor V. As they say 'Disguise yourself before someone suspicious comes by, or a giant Pizza might get you.'

Everyone looked at the ordango and the blonde with the red bow, puzzled and shocked.

"Pika?!"

"Huh?!" Luna and Artemis screeched

"I didn't know that Usagi and Minako have disguise devices." Ash awed and was puzzled at the same time

"I didn't eather." Naru said

"Pika."

Before the two blondes can transform to their disguises, they heard footsteps and everyone was on their guard and alert, but they see a familiar face, it was Erika the gym leader who is wearing her signature kimono and everyone was relieved and yet confused of why she's here.

"Erika!" The gang cried

"Pika."

"Rai Raichu."

"Erika, what are you doing here?" Ami asked

"Everyone, I want to come down here because I want to get back at Team Rocket for what they did to my gym." Erika responded "What they've done was unforgettable."

"Ok Erika, in that case welcome to the team." Ash greeted "and we heard that the Gym is fix so after we deal with those Rocket bastards, the girls can battle you and earn their badges."

"Correct, Ash and another reason I came here is that I want to join you on your quest when the girls beat me." Erika added while her cheeks flushed pink "Since you saved me and my Gloom's lives, I had this wonderful feeling in my heart that I cannot describe it into words."

"Are you in love with him?" Usagi, Minako and Chibiusa asked teasingly and giggled

"Well..." Erika said shyly

"Ok, Ok, Let's not tease anyone for the rest of this mission, and let's get the pass card for the elevator so we can beat Giovanni and Queen Beryl." Rei scolded lightly

"Ok.." Usagi, Minako and Chibiusa huffed and puffed

Usagi held up her Pen and Minako held up her Cresent Compact and shout out these words to activate their powers, much of Ash and Naru being puzzled still.

"Moon Power!" They both called "Turn us into sexy female Team Rocket members!"

With a bright moonlight shined Usagi and Minako were both transformed into Female Team Rocket members with black shirts with a big 'R' on the fronts and mini-skirts and their breasts are almost big as Makoto's and Rei's and they did some poses and smiled and winked. Ash was speechless and his nose starts bleeding until Ami has some tissues.

"Ash, are you ok?" The bluenette asked worriedly

"Y-y-yes, they really had to m-m-mention the sexy part." Ash stuttered as Ami cleaned up his bloody nose

"Do you like it, Ashy?" Minako asked

"Do we look beautiful?" Usagi asked in a begging voice

"Y-Y-Yes." Ash answered as Ami continued cleaning his bloodly nose

"Let's keep it PG you two." Makoto reminded

After Ami was done cleaning Ash's nose, everyone started to stay focused for the mission to put an end to Team Rocket's plan.

"Ok everyone, do you all have your communicators ready?" Ami asked

"I would, if I had one, but I don't." Ash replied

"I don't too." Naru said

"Me as well." Erika sighed

Luna and Artemis gave Ash, Naru and Erika their own communicators to have one just like Ami's, Makoto's, Rei's, Minako's, Chibiusa's and Usagi's and they are happy and ready.

"Here's your own communicators, guys." Luna said "So you should get in contact with the others just in case you find the Pass card."

"We'll be on the first floor to look for some clues." Artemis said

"Thanks, Luna." Ash thanked as he put his on his arm as a watch

"Pikachu."

Ash turned to Naru and Erika as they stared and they let out a suprised and startled scream.

"D-Did Luna and Artemis just talk!?" Naru squeaked

"The felines talked!" Erika cried

"We'll explain it later. Right now we got work to do!" Luna said

As the gang split up to find the Pass Card to use the floor 1 elevator that leads to Giovanni's office in floor 4, Usagi and Minako investigate floor 2 and try to be careful with the Spin Tiles as they stepped on one and spun into one direction and got spotted by Rocket Grunt one as the two blondes battled him with Usagi's Clefairy and Minako's Eevee. After they one Minako teased the Rocket grunt by rubbing her finger on his chest making him pass out while nose bleeding, and after battling 3 Team Rocket grunts at the same time on floor 2 Minako was about to convince Usagi to do the same thing that she did previously, but she told her to keep it "PG" and Minako knocks the 3 grunts out, but no Pass Card.

Next Makoto and Rei investigate Floor 3 on one side and Naru and Chibiusa investigate on the other side of Floor 3 also looking for a Pass Card for the Elevator and being very careful not to step heavily on the Spin Tiles as Usagi and Minako called Makoto on her communicator as Rei watches.

"Hey girls, so how did it go?" Makoto asked

"No luck. These Rocket grunts have no Pass card, and What's even more crazy that Minako tried to tease him into telling us until he fainted due to nosebleeding." Usagi explained

Makoto and Rei gave the two blondes a sigh of embarrassment

"Minako had to do something dirty did she?" Rei groaned

"All I did was messed around a little!" Minako chimed in

"So how are things going with you two?" Usagi asked

"We're still looking for the Pass Card and so far we spot a Team Rocket grunt that's trying to stop us." Makoto responded

"And Naru and Chibiusa are looking on the other side of Floor 3 for the Pass Card, Keep looking and meet us upstairs, ok?" Rei asked

"Ok!" Usagi said

"Over and out." Minako said

As the two blondes hung up for now the Tall busty brunette and the long raven hair shrine maiden still looks around, and Rei closes her eyes and she sensed the two grunts coming.

"I sensed two evil auras." Rei said as the grunts came by "and..."

"Crap, the grunt spotted us!" Makoto shouted "Let's go, Raichu!"

"Rai!"

"Ok, let's go! Vulpix!" Rei called

As they sent Raichu and Vulpix out to battle the Grunts came by and sent out Raticate and Ekans to make it a double battle, and after the two girls win the 2 grunts ran away screaming and calls Giovanni that they've been defeated.

"Wimps." Rei mocked as she saw that there's nothing to be found. "And there's no pass card."

But Makoto found something a green stone with a leaf planted on no the stone. "But hey, they dropped a Leaf Stone. Score!"

"Well, how come they're stealing volution stones?" Rei asked herself while picking up a Fire Stone

Naru and Chibiusa then came by

"Did you two find anything?" Makoto asked

"No." Chibiusa said

"We looked everywhere, but no Pass Card." Naru said

"I sure hope Ashy, Ami, Pikachu and Erika are doing ok." Makoto said

"We should go upstairs and call Ash first."

On Floor 4 Ami, Ash, Pikachu and Erika are hiding from 3 Team Rocket Grunts and one of them has the Pass Card to use the elevator, as Pikachu and Ash sensed them and he remembers the spiritual training he did with Rei and he got 3 Ofudas that she got him to knock out the grunts once they're defeated.

"Looks like we found the Rocket grunt with the pass card." Ash said and he closed his eyes and sensed it "And it's the Second grunt since I sensed it out of three evil auras."

"Pika."

"Ok, I'll take on the first one, Ash will take on the second one and Erika will take on the third one so one of them can drop the Pass Card." Ami planned

"Before we do, I want to inform you that my Gym is back to normal, however I want to get revenge on Team Rocket for what they did." Erika spoke

The 3 Team Rocket grunts saw Ash, Pikachu, Ami and Erika approach them and the grunts laughed snootingly at them and sends out Raticate, Ekans and an Sandshrew and ready to battle them.

"Looks like they want to play it the hard way, huh?" Aah asked "Pikachu, let's go!"

"Vaporeon, go!" Ami called

"Gloom, come on out!" Erika called

Pikachu ran to the battle and Vaporeon and Gloom materializes from their PokéBalls as they're ready to battle. Once the Rocket grunts' Pokémon are defeated, the grunts backed away scared and Ash gets out 3 Ofudas and Chants out these words..

"Rin! Pyō! Tō! Sha! Kai! Jin! Retsu! Zai! Zen!" He chanted and he tosses the Ofudas at the Grunts' foreheads, knocking them out "Evil spirits, Be Excorzied ! Evil Spirits Be Gone! And last but not least, Akuryo Taisan!"

And the Grunts called flat on their backs and the second Grunt dropped the Pass Card to use the Elevator leading to Giovanni and Queen Beryl's office and Ash picked it up and Ami and Erika recalled their Pokémon back to their PokéBalls.

"Hey, Girls." Ash smiled "We got the pass card to use the elevator. It's like taking back what's ours."

"Pi Pikachu!"

"Great Job, Ash." Ami congratulated "Let's call the others and tell them to meet us upstairs to where we are before we slip up. That way we ca come up with a strategy to face off Giovanni and Queen Beryl."

"Great idea, Ami." Erika giggled "And I didn't know that Ash could use Akuryo Taisan. Did he learned it from one of you girls?"

"Yes Erika, before I met you Rei, Mako and I were doing some spiritual training to fight off Evil Spirits" Ash said

"Chaa..."

Ami then calls the girls on her communicator as Ash, Pikachu and Erika looked to see Usagi's face.

"Hi Guys, did you find it?" Usagi asked

"'Did we find it?'" Ash giggled showing Usagi a yellow Elevator Pass Card "We got it, Usagi! It's like taking candy from a little kid when he's a bad boy."

"Pika Pikachu."

"And we found two Evolutionary Stones." Makoto said "We should save them for later."

"And I sensed that you used your spiritual powers like I taught you, Ashy." Rei smiled and winked "it really sure came in handy."

Ami smiled and spoke "Ok, everyone we should all meet upstairs in floor 2 where Luna and Artemis are and come up with a strategy to battle Giovanni and Queen Beryl, if we rush in we'll end up getting beat right away. We'll be right up."

"Ok, Ami." Naru and Chibiusa said

The gang met back up to floor 1 with Luna and Artemis to discuss a strategy to Battle with the two bosses from Team Rocket but The two Moon cats explain to Erika and Naru that they could talk and the girls are Sailor Guardians and the two girls couldn't believe it and are very surprised.

"Wow! I can't believe it. My best friend is a Sailor Guardian!" Naru cried "And I never knew it until now, and I was going to guess it at first."

"The girls you've been traveling with are superheroes in Sailor Guardian uniforms, Ash." Erika smiled and is Amazed

"I know it's kinda hard to believe, but me and Pikachu had the same reaction, I got mad at them at first for not telling me earlier, but I forgave them and I trust them more and more." Ash explained

"Chu!"

"Now with that out of the way, let's discuss our strategy on how we're going to beat Giovanni and Queen Beryl." Minako chimed in "and it's like us fighting the Dark Kingdom, the Makai Tree and the Black Moon Clan! Except we didn't meet Ash and Erika back then."

After the gang discuss their strategy to beat Giovanni and Queen Beryl and rub them out of Celadon City, Ash, Pikachu and the girls all head to the Elevator and used the Pass Card to activate it and the all head down to Floor 4 the girls then transformed into the Sailor Guardians while on the way and they encounter Jessie, James and Meowth who are in the Office and ready to Battle the gang before they battle Giovanni and the Queen as they already wiped Gary out before he left.

"Going somewhere?" Jessie said "Prepare for trouble!"

"Make it double!" James added

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people's within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above..."

Before the trio could finish Giovanni and Queen Beryl interrupted them and stepped out of their couch.

"Enough, me and the queen will take it from here, Jessie, James and Meowth." Giovanni said

"These people need to be taught a lesson about interfering with us." Queen Beryl said

"Y-Yes sir and ma'am!" Jessie, James and Meowth cried

Jessie, James and Meowth stepped out of the way to have Ash, Pikachu, Raichu and the girls with Erika deal with the Queen and Giovanni.

"So, We finally meet." Ash greeted with a sassy smirk "And your Giovanni and Queen Beryl, you got some nerve of putting innocent lives back at the S.T. Anne in danger."

"And you're the people who defeated out grunts and Archer, I must say, I'm impressed you all got here." Giovanni smiled "Team Rocket captures Pokémon from around the world."

"And it seems you defeated Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite and Kunzite, however they're in Silph Co. with two new members who are ready to deal with you all later." Queen Beryl smiled sinisterly "Pokémon are important tools keeping our evil enterprise going, and as you can see by this monitor, the more the People play the arcade games besides the Sailor V game their energy comes to this ball I'm holding and offering it to our most powerful Pokémon in the universe!"

"Thank goodness we played the Sailor V game." Sailor Moon gulped

"Like hell we're going to let you all walk way after what you're moron goons did to Erika's gym!" Ash snapped them he looked at Cubone who looked very scared "And let Cubone go and all the other Pokémon and give back everyone else's energy!"

"Pikachu!"

"Raichu!"

"He don't belong with you two bastards!" Sailor Jupiter shouted

Sailor Mercury turned to see all the helpless wild Pokémon in a cage including a little Pichu who's crying for help and the other Guardians saw it too and are very angry at Giovanni and his partner.

"How could you trap innocent Pokémon to do your evil work?!" Sailor Mercury shouted "That's very cruel!"

"Well if you want the Pokémon to be set free you'll have to battle us." Giovanni said "Go Persian!"

"And we won't be so easy to take out, so prepare yourselves, Ash Ketchum and the Sailor Guardians!" Queen Beryl laughed "Let's Go Nidoqueen!"

Giovanni's Persian was sent to battle while Queen Beryl's Nidoqueen materializes from her PokéBall making it a Double Battle while Ash turns to the girls.

"Ok, Me and Sailor Moon will go first, while Sailor Mercury sneak by the cage and set the Pokémon Free." Ash planned "and once I tag up Sailor Mars and Sailor Moon tags up Naru then it will be your turn, Sailor Venus will take care of Team Rocket, so let's get them!"

"Right!" The girls said

"Let's go, Pikachu!" Ash called

"Let's go, Mankey!" Sailor Moon called

Ash's Pikachu ran up to battle and Sailor Moon's Mankey materializes from its PokéBall meaning a tag team type advantage battle, and Sailor Mercury sneaks by to let the Wild Pokémon out of the cadge.

"Persian, use slash!" Giovanni commanded

"Nidoqueen, mega punch!" Queen Beryl commanded

The two Pokémon's attacks did Pikachu and Mankey a bit of Damage but not enough.

"Pikachu Iron Tail!" Ash commanded

"Mankey Cross Chop!" Sailor Moon Commanded

"Pika! chuuu...Pika!"

Pikachu's Iron Tail landed on Persian which did a lot of damage due to Pikachu being more strong and Mankey's Cross Chop landed on Nidoqueen and it did 2x damage due to Ground types being weak against Fighting types that she was knocked out and She recalls Nidoqueen.

"Ok, Persian! Let's go!" Queen Beryl called as Her Persian runs to the Battlefield.

Back with Sailor Venus with Jessie and James, They both sent out Koffing and Ekans and Sailor Venus sends out her Eevee and Growlith.

"Eevee, use swift and Growlith, use ember!" Sailor Venus commanded

Then Eevee used Swift on Ekans and Growlith used Ember on Koffing and the Pokémon's attacks collided again, and Again, and again, to the point its becoming intense and fast paced.

Back to Ash and the girls Ash's Pikachu and Giovanni's Persian's attacks collided again and again as Sailor Moon tagged Sailor Mars by the hand and she ran to Ash, sending out her Vulpix. Giovanni's Persian is now knocked out and he recalls his Persian and he sends out Rhyhorn. Ash then tags Naru on her hand and it was her turn then she sends out Macho, Ash runs to Sailor Jupiter as they as well as Ash's Pikachu helped Sailor Mercury

"Vulpix, go!" Sailor Mars called

"Machop, Go!" Naru called

Vulpix and Machop both materialize from their PokéBalls and are ready to attack.

"Rhyhorn, Mega horn!" Giovanni commanded

"Persian, slash!" Queen Beryl commanded

Then Sailor Mars and Naru called their Pokémon attacks.

"Vulpix, Flamethrower on Persian!" The Guardian of Fire commanded

"Machop, Karate Chop on Ryhorn!" Naru commanded

The Pokémon's attacks collided again and agian once more as Machop was able to get a hit on Ryhorn as it's weak against fighting types and Vulpix and Persian's attacks are collided and Persian did a little bit of damage on Vulpix, Sailor Mars sensed that the Queen is more power then Giovanni as she gritted her teeth.

Back with Ash, he helped Sailor Mercury out as he handed her the Key that James dropped. She inserted the key In the keyhole and it opened

"Got it!" Sailor Mercury smiled

"Yeah! Let's open 'er up!" Ash said

"Pika!"

"I'll help you out, Ash!" Sailor Jupiter offered "Let's make sure that the others are keeping them busy."

Ash, Pikachu, Raichu, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mercury then opened the cage slowly to set the Wild Pokémon free and the Pichu is thrilled to be free from Giovanni's trap.

"Here you go, Pichu you're free." Sailor Mercury said as the Pichu hugs Sailor Mercury's leg and she picked her up.

"Freedom, Freedom!" Sailor Jupiter cheered

All the Wild Pokémon head upstairs and back to the Wild. Giovanni, Queen Beryl, Jessie, James and Meowth see this and are shocked and angry at this.

"What!?" Queen Beryl shouted as she accidentally dropped the ball that contains energy, breaking it "The Wild Pokémon are escaping and the energy we worked so hard to collect, it's also escaping!"

"What?! This can't be! The boy and the Guardians were able to set them free?!" Giovanni commanded. "Jessie, James, Meowth retreat now! The boy and The Sailor Guardians have foiled us!"

"Hey, eyes on the battle!" Naru shouted as Ryhorn is knocked out by her Machop.

"Vulpix, Finish her off with Flamethrower!" Sailor Mars commanded

Vulpix unleashed her Flamethrower at Queen Beryl's Persian and knocking her out and sends her flying towards Queen Beryl and holds her gently in defeat and Giovanni scowled at the gang as he was defeated by them.

"We're too are defeated by a young man and the Sailor Gaurdains..." Giovanni sighed in defeat "Honey, looks like we need to face them of in Silph Co. where Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite and Kunzite will be waiting."

"Here, We'll give the red haired one the Cubone." Queen Beryl sighed and petted her Persian "and the 10 Silph Scopes for defeating us... and we can see that all of you raise your Pokémon with utmost care, but heed this warning, we will be ready for you all at Silph Co. so be prepared, because we will battle you all again."

Giovanni, Queen Beryl, Jessie, James and Meowth all headed out of their secret hideout and the two bosses teleported to the top Office at Silph Co. expect for Jessie, James and Meowth who ran away in fear and the wild Cubone headed back to Lavander Town, leading the others Confused on how they did that.

"Woah, looks like it's the first time I ever met and battle Giovanni and Queen Beryl." Ash said picked up the Silph Scope and putted it in his backpack as well as the others did the same.

"Pikaa.."

"Rai.."

"Great Job, Ash!" Sailor Mercury congratulated "We all set the Wild Pokémon free! And I think This Little Pichu likes me and she wants to come with us."

"Pichu!"

"Aww, She's so cute." Ash awed "I never seen a Pichu before."

"Pika Pikachu."

"Pichu is so cute." Sailor Chibi Moon awed

Before the gang can see a glow came from Naru's Machop catching their attention as it evolves into Machoke.

"Oh my god!" Naru cried happily "Machop, you've evolved Into Machoke congratulations!"

"I wish I can have a Machoke one day." Sailor Jupiter sighed

"I'm sure you will one day, Sailor Jupiter." Sailor Mars smoothed

Machoke gave his partner a high five as the girls looked at Pichu as Sailor Mercury would agree to have her tag along as she gets out her empty PokéBall and Pichu presses the Button and she went inside meaning that Sailor Mercury has gotten a Pichu a Baby Pokémon from the Johto Region and everyone congratulated her, then the PokéBall disappeared to Professor Oak's lab and She will call Pichu to her team once the girls get their Gym Badges.

At the Celadon Gym which was newly refurbished, Makoto, Minako, Usagi, Rei, and Naru already got their Rainbow Badges and all is left is Ami. Ash, Pikachu, Raichu, Chibiusa, Luna and Artemis watched her as Erika is down to her last Pokémon Tangela and Ami has her Pidgeotto.

"Tangela, use Vine Whip!" Erika Commanded

"Pidgeotto, Use Wing Attack!" Ami commanded

Tangela is about to hit Pidgeotto with Vine Whip but the Bird Pokémon dodged it just in tame and countered Tangela with Wing Attack, and it knocked out Tangela in one hit due to Tangela being weak against Flying types.

"Tangela is unable to Battle!" The announcer called "Pidgeotto wins! Which mean the Victor goes to... Ami Mizuno!"

"Oh my..." Ami spoke while her face turns brighte pink and smiled

Erika recalls her Tangela and approached Ami and smiled holding a Rainbow Badge.

"Ami Mizuno, for beating me in the Gym Battle and showing me how much you take good care of you Pokémon, I present you with the Rainbow badge." Erika smiled as she handed the badge to the Bluenette

"Thank you Erika.." Ami smiled as she held the badge in her hand.

"Yeah, Ami has gotten the Rainbow badge!" Ash cheered

"Pi Pikachu!"

"Well looks like all of us has gotten 4 Badges and only 4 left to Compete in the Pokémon League!" Makoto smiled

"Yeah! And you've given me and Ami the best first date ever!" Minako added "and we took down Team Rocket and put them to their place!"

"Plus I think we should let Erika come with us." Rei suggested

When hearing this Ash's face turn bright red of embarrassment as he recalls what Erika Said back in floor 1 of Team Rocket's hideout.

"Pika?"

"Well I..." Ash said

"Pretty please?" Makoto, Rei, Minako, Naru, Chibiusa and Usagi begged with their begging eyes

"...Alright, Erika can come with us." Ash accepted

"Yeah, That's what I'm talking about!" Rei cheered
