Chapter 1: To Be or Not to Be Normal.
Our story begins in the city of Metroville, where two children had just got done disagreeing with their mom over dinner. They were walking down the hallway.
"I'm serious. What good is having these powers if we're not even allowed to use them?" asked a girl with black hair.
"Same goes for me. I wanna try out for sports, but of course, you know why I can't." said her little brother with blonde hair.
"Well, Dash, you know that would risk exposing us and us having to move again." Violet said.
"I know, Violet, but I wanna compete so badly." Dash said.
Later, the two of them greeted their dad after he got back from bowling with Lucius.
"Hey, Dad, do you sometimes wonder what your life would be like without powers?" Violet asked him.
"Sometimes, but I'm glad I have them. They allow me to help others and make a difference. One day, hopefully, you'll get that same experience." Bob said.
"Hopefully." Violet said.
"Hopefully, I'll also get to go out for sports." Dash said.
"Hey, even if you can't, your powers still make you special and a winner in our books." Helen said.
"Thanks, Mom." Dash said.
However, as Dash and Violet went to bed, they could agree on one thing, they both wished some good could come out of this.
