Chapter 9: Invitation to Danger
A few days later, after their suits had arrived, Dash and Violet got a call. Little did they know, Bob and Helen were on another phone, wanting to hear their children's next adventure.
"Hello?" Violet answered.
"Children, listen to me, whatever you do, do not come back to Nomanisan Island!" Mirage said on the other end of the phone. She sounded panicked.
"What? What's wrong?" Violet asked.
"The Omnidroids, they-SPRITZZZZZZ-BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP" the call dropped.
"Mirage? MIRAGE?!" Violet yelled.
"What's wrong?" Dash asked.
"I don't know, but it sounds like Mirage is in trouble! Let's go!" Violet said before she grabbed a suitcase. She and Dash ran to the door, only to find their parents there.
"Kids, was that a teacher?" Helen asked.
"No time to explain. We gotta go!" Violet said before she and Dash ran past their parents and out the door, leaving them puzzled.
Later, they had managed to secure a jet to Nomanisan Island. They stepped out of the bathrooms, wearing new suits. The masks were black and raccoon-like around their eyes. They wore red suits with black gloves and boots. Around the necks were black collars. At the waists, there were orange belts on top of a section resembling black shorts. On front of the suits, there was a symbol that was a yellow lowercase i with a yellow and white dot in the middle of a black circle surrounded by a mirroring orange border.
"Now approaching Nomanisan Island." the ship's autopilot said.
Dash and Violet didn't know what lied ahead, but for the sake of a woman who had been so kind to them and offered them a chance to finally experience their powers, they were ready to face the danger.
