BTW guys this show is owned by Ryan Murphy.
Will enters the choir room raring to go at another assignment, until he sees his Glee club arguing. Some of the kids were yelling amongst themselves for some unexplained reason. He clapped his hands hard to grab their attention. "Hey guys! Guys! What's going on?"
Tina spoke up first. "We were having a discussion about who gets to sing the solo at nationals. It's obviously me right?"
"Oh come on! You already had a solo this year remember? Besides I've only sung background in these competitions. I deserve this." Sugar said.
"Whoa hold up. I barely get to do any songs in general and you're complaining? I should get the solo!" Kitty said.
Unique told Kitty to talk to the hand. "Now hold up ya'll. Did you forget who was MVP last year at nationals. Clearly it's Unique's time for a solo. Besides, Kitty, and Tina have all sung at least once in competitions."
They all start arguing again, talking over each other until Will comes up with an idea to end the fight and solve the problem. "You know what guys, this gives me a new idea for this weeks assignment." He walks towards the board. "I was originally gonna go for a Bruno Mars week, but instead I think this might be a good time for a new competition." He writes 'Solos' on the board. "This week, anyone who wants a shot at a solo at nationals will sing their own solo right here. Whoever wins gets to sing a solo at nationals. Plus it would be good if we had a competition that doesn't end with us either forgetting the competition to help a teacher, one of them blowing a note on purpose, Rachel and Mercedes just hugging and forgetting what they were doing, everyone being disqualified for using drugs..."
"Musical week." Sam said bitterly while glaring at Artie.
"Oh come on. Ya'll are still on about that. You all got to be in my film!"
"At the cost of our pride." Jake said with a deadpan look. Ryder who was next to him nodded.
Will clears his throat. "Okay so, who wants to compete?" He gets raised hands from, Kitty, Tina, Unique, Sugar and... Rory? "Uhh, you sure Rory? You weren't exactly screaming for a solo before."
"I was a little scared to try before, but I've never really sung in a competition before. Last year I just sang background to Rachel."
"Hey, me too." Sugar said.
"I've missed a lot this year. I'd like to make up for it by competing for a solo. Then I can really make up for lost time, and sing with all of you behind me."
"Thanks Rory. Everyone give a round of applause for your contenders." There was an uproar of applause from the Glee club. "Yeah alright!"
The contenders all looked at each other with competitive faces, like they could eat each other alive.
A while later Rory and Sugar met up during lunch to meet in the auditorium.
"I'm super excited for this. You won't believe what I've got planned. It's gonna be epic! What are you gonna do?" Sugar asked Rory who looked up from his food and then smiled.
"What ever happened to show don't tell. I'll sing it to you right now." He gets up to get ready while Sugar claps. "I actually prepared to show you this earlier so I had the band ready." Said Band shows up with their instruments ready to go. "One, Two, Three four."
Rory:
Somewhere beyond the sea
somewhere waiting for me
my lover stands on golden sands
and watches the ships that go sailin'
{Sugar seems to be enjoying this for a short time but eventually starts looking bored, although Rory's oblivious.}
It's far beyond the stars
it's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
my heart will lead me there
Lead me there
Lead me there soon
We'll meet
I know we'll meet
Beyond the shore
we'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
and never again I'll go sailin'
{Rory looks to Sugar with a grin before seeing her bored face and frowns from it.}
no more sailin'
so long sailin'
bye bye sailin'
Sailing, sailing, sailing, sailing
One over Captain.
Ooh!
Sugar gives her own respectful clap but Rory knows it's fake. "Was there something wrong? Was it because I didn't dance? Because you know I can't dance."
"Rory, Rory. It was beautiful. Really, it's just... been there done that." Rory raises his eyebrow. "You've been doing jazz after jazz every time. At this point it's getting predictable."
"... Well I... didn't use a jazz song in Finn week." He reasoned.
Sugar stands up and walks to him. "And it was amazing. Look you can do jazz and I'm sure that Glee club will love it. But don't you want to try something different? Exciting? Off-brand?"
"But that's what brands are for. I'm trying to build up a brand so people know what to expect from me."
"This week. This competition. There is no room to be predictable. Look I love you and no matter what you do I'll support you. Just... think about it okay?" Sugar looks at him pleadingly and Rory nods.
"Okay. So, what are you singing?"
Sugar smiles. "Oh that's a surprise." She pecks him on the cheek before walking away and grabbing her bag. "You'll have to find out in Glee club." Rory sighs and picks up his bag before they leave with their arms wrapped together.
We jump to the choir room where Sugar's nodding her head at the beat as she prepares her solo. She wanted this to be a powerful song that sends a message strong enough to get her the win.
(Jessie J's Price Tag)
Sugar:
Seems like everybody's got a price,
I wonder how they sleep at night.
When the sale comes first,
And the truth comes second,
Just stop, for a minute and Smile
Why is everybody so serious?
Acting so damn mysterious.
You got your shades on your eyes
And your heels so high,
That you can't even have a good time.
{She looks to her left and to her right.}
Sugar with New Directions:
Everybody look to their left
And everybody look to their right.
Sugar (with New Directions):
(Can you feel that yeah)
We're paying with love tonight...
{Sugar starts dancing up a storm. She's not Brittany, but she's the next best thing.}
Sugar with New Directions:
(Sugar: It's not about the) Money, money, money
(Sugar: We don't need your) Money, money, money
Sugar:
We just wanna make the world dance,
Sugar with New Directions:
Forget about the Price Tag
Sugar with New Directions:
(Sugar: Ain't about the, ha) Cha-Ching Cha-Ching.
(Sugar: Ain't about the, yeah) Ba-Bling Ba-Bling
Wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag.
{She sits down in the center and starts moving in her seat. Everyone smiles and dances along.}
Sugar:
We need to take it back in time,
When music made us all unite!
And it wasn't low blows and video hoes,
Am I the only one gettin'... tired?
Why is everybody so obsessed?
Money can't buy us happiness.
Can we all slow down and enjoy right now
Guarantee we'll be feelin'
All right.
Sugar with New Directions:
Everybody look to their left (Kitty: to the left)
Everybody look to their right (Sam: to the right)
Sugar (with New Directions):
Can you feel that, yeah,
We're paying with love tonight...
{She kicks and thrusts out of the seat and grabs Rory to dance. Everyone grabbed a partner and did the same.}
Sugar with New Directions:
It's not about the money, money, money
We don't need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag
Ain't about the (ha) Cha-Ching Cha-Ching.
Ain't about the (yeah) Ba-Bling Ba-Bling
Wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag.
It's not about the money, money, money (Sugar: Money, Money)
We don't need your money, money, money (Sugar: Don't need your Money)

Forget about the Price Tag

Everyone applauded Sugar excitedly. Tina however rolled her eyes. Will steps forward to congratulate Sugar. "Wow! Sugar that was incredible. I think that was the best you've ever done in a number."
Tina rolls her eyes again. "Yeah, not exactly setting a high bar there Mr. Schue." She said rudely. Everyone turns to face her.
"Excuse me." Sugar said.
"Hey, I'm just saying. You weren't exactly a... gifted singer when you first joined the club."
"I learned. I took lessons, I practiced. I sang till my chords started hurting."
Tina puts on a fake smile. "Well congrats. That's gonna be great next year, since this year you're just gonna be singing background to me at nationals."
"Whatever Tina. All I know is, I killed it in that number."
"Yeah, a song about rich people. That is so typical coming from you."
"The song isn't about being rich. It's about how you don't need all that money. I'm not just gonna spend all my life like those french aristocrats at the french revolution. Uh-uh. I'm going to dedicate my time to charity when I'm not off being a big big star. It's only fair since, there's no point in all that money if you don't share it."
Will went between them. "Great point Sugar. Thank you. Let's uh, call it a day and tomorrow we're gonna hear Tina's solo." The glee club gathered their bags while Sugar and Tina were in a stand-off glaring at each other. They stood like that until Sam poked Tina's shoulder to pull her from the stand-off. He had already grabbed her bag and they both walked away. But Tina could feel Sugar burning holes behind her head.
Kitty is hanging out with Joe who's jamming with his guitar in her bedroom while she's thinking about the competition.
"Do you think I'm selfish?" Kitty asks suddenly, stopping Joe's jam. He raises his eyebrow. "Unique was right. I've sung in like every competition. And I'm only a sophomore. Sugar hasn't sung til this semester. Everyone else competing for a competition are either juniors or Tina. They're running out of time."
Joe gives a confused look. "Why did you even compete in the first place?"
"Because I've barely gotten any songs in general this year. I went eight weeks straight until I got like 1-2 songs per week. I haven't had a solo all semester."
"You see that's why you should do this. Tina will be fine. She has that duet with Blaine and a part in the Senior song in the end. Don't worry about them and focus on yourself for a little bit. Plus I'm sure with Blaine and Tina gone, Sugar won't have any problems with solos." They laugh at that.
Kitty smiles at him. "Have I ever told you that I love you."
Joe smirks. "Saying it one more time wouldn't hurt."
Kitty giggles. "I love you Joe."
"I love you too Kitty." They kiss for a short time and embrace. "Hey maybe a little song might make you feel better." He goes to grab his guitar.
"Oh come on. I am not in the mood for a song."
"Come on. It'll make you feel better. It's one of your favorites." He puts on a pleading face which breaks her.
"Okay go ahead. But you better do it justice." Kitty said with a smile.
"Righteous." He starts playing his guitar for her and begins his song.
Joe:
My funny valentine
Sweet comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart
Your looks are laughable
Unphotographable
Yet, you're my favorite work of art
Is your figure less than Greek?
Is your mouth a little weak?
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?
{She bops her head at the song admiring the music.}
But don't change your hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay, little valentine, stay
Each day is Valentine's Day
Is your figure less than Greek?
Is your mouth a little weak?
When you open it to speak
Are you smart?
But don't change your hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay, little valentine, stay
Each day is Valentine's Day
"Uh, not that I'm against the song? But it's not even Valentine's day. Why this song?"
Joe smiles. "I just thought it would sum up my feelings"
"You big dork." She pinches his cheek and he chuckle.
Rory runs to Sugar's locker with an excited look on his face. He's obviously got news. "Sugar. I've chosen my song."
Sugar looks at him with a proud look. "That's great Rors. I knew you could do it."
"Well, I took your advice to mind, and I realized you were right. It's mostly been jazz. Which is why I've chosen a song no one would expect from me."
"What is it."
Rory takes a deep breath. "These Boots Are Made For Walking by Nancy Sinatra." He said causing Sugar's smile to fade.
"Oh. Really?" She said with a slightly disappointed tone.
"Yeah. I love listening to Frank Sinatra. So I thought that singing this song might feel interesting. Considering Nancy is Frank's kin. What do you think?"
"...I think it's... new. But not exactly exciting. I don't really think you can win with that one." Rory's smile fades as well.
"What?"
"Well, look everyone is gonna be trying a powerful song with an even more powerful message. You need to pick a song that'll get everyone's headbanging."
Rory sighs. "What if I can't? What if I don't have that in me?"
Sugar sighs too. "I didn't when I first joined Glee club. Mike didn't either. But we both grew. We both became better singers that people would love to hear. I know you have that in you. Just try to find it." She walks to her next class, leaving Rory to his thoughts. He was really thinking about what kind of song he could sing that people would root for him with. Maybe something of the rock variety?
His thoughts come to a holt when he hears a voice behind him. "Excuse me?" He turns around and sees a black haired girl with blue eyes, red lipstick, and a beret. "Rory Flanagan right? I'm Harmony Pearce, I'm a junior." She holds out her hand.
Rory looks at her questionably as he shakes her hand. "Nice to meet you. But how did you know my name?"
Harmony smiles. "You're the Irish exchange student member of the New Directions. I remember you from last year. Sectionals? Buenos Aires?" Rory appears to be shocked when he recognizes her as the women who performed in his first competition last year.
"Oh right. I remember you. Good to see you... Wait you're not a spy are you?"
Harmony shakes her head. "No, no no. You see my group, The Unitards, did our regional a few months ago."
"Did you win?"
"No. Throat Explosion kicked our asses. We beat Vocal Adrenaline though. Their new lead Clint was good but nothing special. Throat Explosion however is a whole other story. Jean-Baptiste, their leader was crazy talented. He could and will make it on broadway, I just know it."
"... That's really interesting but I gotta go." He walks away but Harmony persists and follows him.
"Wait I need your help. I just transferred to McKinley. My parents thought my grades were good enough for me to risk transferring this late in the year. And I did it because I want to join the New Directions." Rory turns to face her surprised. "You guys are the reigning champions. I thought that the best approach would be to go here so I could have another shot at winning. I can be a valuable asset. In freshman year I led my team to nationals. Sure we got 11th place but that was close to the top 10."
Rory stops. "Okay. If you want to join, all you have to do is come to the glee club meeting at 3:00. If you can do well enough in your audition, then you're in."
Harmony looks at him excited. "Oh my gosh thank you." He gives Rory a tight hug and a kiss in the cheek. "I gotta go. I'll see you in the meeting." She runs off to who knows where, leaving Rory scared and confused.
"Well that was odd."
Sugar's on her way to the choir room until she's stopped by Tina. "Hey there spray-tan." She said causing Sugar to roll her eyes.
"Who are you Kitty?"
"Just wanted to send a message before my big number. You don't stand a chance, I'm better than you, and you may be a good dancer, but I've been here honing my craft for four years. You might as well give up." She smirks.
"Oh I see. One week and suddenly we're rivals. Well guess what TINA. You may have more experience, but you're still just the lowly goth I met last year. Hell, the only reason you're trying to intimidate me is because you can't except that I've outgrown you. You know that I'm gonna be a bigger deal than you. You're just. Plain. Boring."
"Don't say that. I know what I'm gonna be when I graduate. I'm gonna be amazing, and you're gonna eat those words. In fact, listen to the song I'm gonna sing. I'll enjoy every second of it." Music starts playing when they reach the choir room. Sugar takes her seat with her arms and legs crossed with a mad look on her face.

Glee club applauds Tina for her song except for Sugar who just sits and glares at her new rival.
"Nice job, Tina. You see the energy you brought here. That's exactly what I expect the rest of you to show in your solos."
"Damn right Mr. Schue. And I still have some left to make those dreams come true. How you like that Sugar?"
Sugar shrugs. "Ehh. It wasn't your worst performance. But not your best."
Tina scoffs. "Whatever."
"Hey everyone." They turn to see Harmony standing at the door. "Sorry to show up unannounced. I'm Harmony Pearce, I'm a transfer from Defiance High." She holds out her hand for Will to shake which he does.
"What can we do for you Ms. Pearce."
"Pierce? Is Brittany here?" Sugar asks excited.
"No. I am not related to Brittany S. Pierce in anyway. Mine's spelled with an A. Anyway, I would like to audition for the New Directions. Rory told me to come here. Hi Rory." She waves at him which he returns much to Sugar's annoyance.
"Hey um, Sugar Motta. We're all staffed up as is."
"Oh, I promise you, I won't be any trouble. I've been performing since I was a fetus. Literally. Anyway if it's okay I noticed that you have solos written on the board?"
Will tries to explain. "Oh. We've been having some in-fighting about who gets a solo for nationals. Our usual soloist Blaine, decided not to and to just have a duet with Tina."
"Ah, well, consider this song my audition and entry for the week." She lends some sheet music from her satchel to the band who grabs their instruments and start playing.
Harmony:
A simple choice, nothing more
This or that, either or
Marry well, social whirl, business men
Clever girl
Or pin my future on a green glass love
What kind of life am I dreaming of?
{Everyone seems to be enjoying this performance, except for the competitive Tina, and Sugar.}
I say, gimme gimme
That thing called love
I need it
Highs and lows, tears and laughter
Gimme happy ever after
Gimme gimme
That thing called love
That thing called love
{She runs to the chairs and goes to Rory being the only boy in the group she knows and sings to him much to Sugar's annoyance.}
I don't care if he's a nobody
In my heart, he'll be a somebody
Somebody to love me
I need it
Gimme that thing called love
I want it
Here I am, St. Valentine
My bags are packed; I'm first in line
Gimme gimme
That thing called love
They were all impressed with her high-note in the end. They applauded her except for Sugar and Tina.
Will stands up to announce whether she's in or out. "Okay I think I speak for everyone when I say... welcome to the New Directions!" She jumps for joy and gives Will which is clause for a group hug and Tina and Sugar wouldn't have joined if they're boyfriends didn't drag them in.
Rory's in the auditorium with a computer looking for songs, when Harmony walked in. "What'cha looking at?"
Rory looks up. "Oh, hi Harmony. I'm just trying to pick out a song for the solo."
Harmony sits next to him. "Okay. What do you have so far?"
"Well, Sugar says I should be unpredictable, but I can't think of anything good. I'm not sure I could pull off a lot more Billy Joel."
"Hmm, that's tough. You know what you need? A rock song."
"Oh yeah. I was thinking of that earlier, but I let it go."
Harmony then punches his shoulder. "Then try again. Look I have an idea." She takes the computer and looks up a song. "How about this."
"Let's see." He puts on headphones and listens to the song. He bops his head a few times before turning to her. "I think I could sing this. Thanks Harmony."
"Yeah well, I owed you for helping me get in." She said before they both hugged. Little did she know that Sugar was watching with a jealous look on her face.
They both go to the choir room where Rory begins his song.
(Rick Springfield's Jessie's girl starts playing.)
Rory:
Jessie is a friend
Yeah, I know he's been a good friend of mine
But lately something's changed that ain't hard to define
Jessie's got himself a girl and I want to make her mine
And she's watching him with those eyes
And she's loving him with that body I just know it
And he's holding her in his arms late at night
You know, I wish I was Jessie's girl
{People started chuckling when they noticed the mistake}
Wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman like that
And I'm looking in the mirror all the time
Wondering what she don't see in me
I've been funny, I've been cool with the lines
Ain't that the way love supposed to be
Tell me, where can I find a woman like that!
Like Jessie's girl
I wish I was Jessie's girl
I want Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman like that
Like Jessie's girl,
I wish I was Jessie's girl
I wish I was Jessie's girl
They start to laugh, and it left Rory confused. "What's so funny?" he said.
Ryder stopped laughing to explain. "Dude, you just said you wished you were Jessie's girl. The lyrics were I wish I had Jessie's girl."
Rory facepalms himself more embarrassed than ever before Sugar speaks up. "Rory, it's okay."
"No it's not okay! I just humiliated myself in front of everyone! This is what happens when I do something I'm not comfortable with, I choke."
Sugar frowns. "I was only trying to help you Rory! Why are you mad at me?"
"I'm not! I-i'm just... augh." Rory storms out of the choir room.
"Rory come back!" Sugar yells to no avail.
The next day, Unique prepares for her solo number on stage, when Ryder enters the room. "Hey Unique."
Unique sighs. "Hey Ryder, look I'd love to talk but I really have to focus on getting this right."
Ryder raises his eyebrow in confusion. "You seem tense. Is everything alright?"
"I'm fine. It's just... a lot riding on this one. If I win this I get to do another solo at nationals, and I'm excited and all but..."
"But?"
"What if I can't do it?"
Ryder furrows his eyebrows. "You mean you think you can't win?"
"No, that's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about nationals. Last time, when I led Vocal Adrenaline I had two solos. And even after that I still lost!"
"Second place isn't losing Unique, it's just one step away from winning."
"What if I can't take it. What if this is as far as I go?"
Ryder takes her hand. "You don't have to worry. You're the most talented person in glee club, and I know you can lead us to another championship. Besides you won't do it alone. You have me and, Marley, and everyone beside you to help you out."
Unique smiles at those words. "Thank you Ryder."
"No prob, bob." They chuckled at that before embracing.
(Lauryn Hill's His Eye is on the Sparrow starts playing.)
Unique:
Why should I feel discouraged
And why should the shadows, shadows come
But why, why, why should my heart, my heart feel lonely?
And long for heaven, heaven, home, yeah, yes
When, when Jesus, Jesus is my portion
A, a constant friend, constant friend is He
Oh, oh-oh, his eye is on, his eye is on the sparrow
Oh yes, I, I know He watches, oh, over me, yeah, hey
I sing (I sing)
I sing because (because)
I'm happy (happy)
Hallelujah
I sing (I sing)
I sing because (because)
I'm free, I'm free (free, free, free)
I know, I know His eye (His eye)
His eye is on (is on)
Is on the sparrow (sparrow)
Oh, yes, it is
I know (know)
I know (and I know)
He watches like the Lord over me
Everyone gives her a standing ovation, and she feels more prideful than she's been for a while on stage.
Will stands up to congratulate. "That was great Unique. Now that was the song to beat in my opinion. Anyway let's get ready for the final song of the weak, everyone give it up for Ms. Kitty Wilde!" They clap again as Kitty goes up on the stage.
"Alright losers, get ready to hear this, because I promise it's the cats meow." They chuckle and shake their heads at that pun.
When ever I see someone
Less fortunate than I
My tender heart tends to start to bleed
And when someone needs a make-over
I simply have to take over
I know, I know
Exactly what they need
And even in your case (no offense)
Though it's the toughest case
I've yet to face
Don't worry,
I'm determined to succeed
And yes indeed
You
Will
Be
Popular
I know about Popular
And with an assist from me
To be who you'll be
Instead of dreary who you-were (well are)
There's nothing that can stop you
From becoming populer (lar)
Celebrated heads of state or
Specially great communicators
Did they have brains or knowledge?
Don't make me laugh! He,he!
They were popular!
Just not quite as popular
As Meeeeeeeeee
As Meeeeeeeeeeeee
"Woooo!" Joe yells as he runs up to the stage to give the applauded Kitty a hug.
Will steps up to make an announcement. "Alright guys, before we vote, and put this week to an end, I want us to remember how well each of these people did today, and also to add some anticipation. Because tomorrow, whoever wins is gonna be a featured soloist at, wait for it..., NATIONALS."
They all applauded this announcement, but as Sugar clapped she looked at Rory with a little sadness in her eyes. She felt bad for how humiliated he felt after his song. She can't help but feel guilty for it.
Back in Sugar's house Rory's drops onto his bed in shame. He still feels depressed about what happened in glee club the other day; but that's what he gets for trusting singing advice from the first person to be rejected from the New Directions, and that was before they were popular. Then he heard a door knock.
"Hey Rory, it's Sugar. Can I come in?"
Rory hesitates. "Umm... sure Sugar."
She opens the door and walks in to sit next to him. "How are you feeling?"
"Ah, kinda still embarrassed."
Sugar sighs. "Listen, I'm sorry about what happened. I really didn't think it would go that way."
"No. It's not your fault. I'm the one who messed up the lyrics. The only problem I have with you is... why did you want me to change?"
"I don't want you to change." She holds his shoulder. "You're fine, just the way you are. I just thought you could use a little more in your repertoire."
"But I'm fine with jazz. It's how I sing."
"I know, and I hope that it will only get better, but I don't want you to miss any opportunities. I want you to shine no matter what. I really care about you, and I just wanted to help."
Rory sighs. "Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry for yellin' at yah. I was just upset, but I think I'll be okay."
"Great, I'm happy we could work things out." She gets up to walk out but turns to Rory with one last question. "Hey about... Harmony. You don't think she's... into you do you?"
Rory chuckles and shakes his head. "Nah, I wouldn't be so worried. Even if she is, I'll tell her I'm a taken man."
Sugar smiles. "Good, because I want you all to myself." She pinches his cheek and kisses it, before walking away leaving the irish boy to his happiness.
Sugar and Rory walk into the choir room hand in hand to sit down and they see Will handing out pieces of paper. "Ah, about time you two showed up." He hands them their own paper. "Get ready to pick a winner today. And as a reminder, please don't vote yourselves!" They both grab their pencils from their bags and write their votes before putting them in the ballot box.
Everyone made their vote and stuffed their paper in the ballot box and their coach steps up to collect and read. "Alright, everyone. Before I announce the winner give it up for our contenders in possibly the biggest diva-off ever!" They all scream and shout for their fellow glee clubbers and look at them with pride. "Now, I've read the votes, and the winner by one vote is... drumroll Joe." Joe runs to the drums and performs a brief drumroll before the name is announced. "Mr. Rory Flanagan!" Rory looks at Will with Wide eyes and a big smile. He stands up and jumps for joy.
"YEEESSSS!" He runs around the choir room for a moment before pausing with confusion. "Wait, I don't get it. I-I messed up."
Marley explains. "That's why you won. To be honest it was really funny that you used those lyrics, plus you really reminded us how it feels to be the underdog."
"So we decided to root for the underdog today." Jake finished for her.
Kitty rolls her eyes. "Seriously? I owned that song. I should've won."
"Come on Kitty, don't be a bad sport. Rory won fair and square."
"Actually, sir, if it's alright I think we should do a group song. I really am honored that you chose me to be a soloist, but I don't think I'm ready for that. I just did my first rock song and messed up. Maybe it worked here, but it won't for nationals." Rory said.
"Okay? How about this. We do a group song, and everyone who participated is allowed to be a part of it!" The contenders shouted in joy of this.
"Cool, you know what? Maybe we should end this week with another group number. Just for a little unity." They all agreed to Blaine's suggestion.
They all met in the auditorium in rock costumes.

Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed the chapter, though I've never actually written an original chapter entirely before. Please tell me if you have any notes, and I'll probably make some adjustments. I do admit it had more songs then actual plots, but I couldn't think of one for this episode. Anyway, have a good one.
