BTW Gloria isn't in the same key. Like Scream when Mike did Janet Jackson's parts.

This week, the Glee club are all gathered in the choir room to prepare for songs for nationals when they are surprised by Blaine, Sam, and Tina who showers everyone with a trio number together.

The club cheers for the trio but afterwards Mr. Schue gives them the news.

"You guys, that was amazing, but, um, I'm not sure it's right for Nationals." He said.

"Yes, 'cause Unique will not be standing in the back swaying while you guys go all Three-yoncé in the spotlight." Unique said and Ryder nodded.

Kitty starts getting tired of Unique's voice. "Why does everything you say have to sound like that?"

"We know it's not right for Nationals, we just wanted to do it for fun." Tina explained.

"Yeah, we were talking and we realized that we'd never actually done a number together." Blaine added.

"No, and as seniors we realized we were running out of time and we wanted to feel the power of a trio." Sam said as he wrapped his arm around Tina's shoulder.

"Which, I learned in my senior math class, is about 25% less powerful than a quartet." Artie said annoyed that they did a senior song without him.

"Well, I'm really glad that you guys did that. You probably don't realize this, but these are friendships that you're gonna cherish for the rest of your lives. And you've got to squeeze in as many experiences as you can because, for you seniors, you're all gonna be going your separate ways very soon." Will said, causing Tina to cry.

"Oh, no, no, no, no. Tina." Sam said as the trio did a group hug feeling bad for Tina. She's really emotional about the whole separate ways thing.

Artie wheels up to join in. "Tina. Guys." He joins the hug but is pushed away by Sam and Blaine.

"No, you had your turn." Blaine said, leaving him out.

All this talk about trios makes Joe think for a moment. Next year, he, Rory, and Sugar are going to be the seniors. Maybe he should take this time as a Junior to get closer to them so that they can take the lead like the seniors have this year.

Joe is walking with Kitty talking about their date tonight.

"So I was thinking after we eat we could hit the bumper bowling alley since you aren't exactly well-versed in bowling like I am. Just to get a start in practicing before you get the hang of it then we can do the real thing."

"Awesome. Hey Kitty? I was thinking..."

"No, I'm not upset that we aren't sleeping together. I'm christian too so I know how important that is-"

"No." He chuckles. "Not that actually it's about what Tina, Blaine, and Sam said. About trios. Next year I'm going to be a senior. Same as Rory. Same as Sugar. Maybe we could make tonight a double date?" When Joe says this it causes Kitty to hesitate. She's up for double dates but she never really thought much about Joe being a year older than her.

"Oh? Yeah, all right." Kitty replies.

"Great, I'll talk to them about it. See what they think. Bye love you." Joe kisses Kitty in the cheek before running off to find his fellow Juniors.

He finds Rory and Sugar walking hand in hand to class so he stops them. "Hey guys, so I was thinking maybe we should hang out?"

"All three of us?" Sugar said surprised.

"Yeah, I know we haven't really had much time to hang out, but next year we are the seniors. We need to get closer so by then we'd be ready to step up. Take charge. Finn and Rachel style, except there's three of us." This causes some laughter.

"Umm, yeah. I've got my visa to last me till my graduation. Your idea sounds grand. What do you think Sugar?" Rory said.

"Uh, yeah. Sounds awesome. I always pictured myself as more of a Rachel Berry anyway. Maybe next time though we should include Unique and Harmony. You know since they're juniors too."

"Totally." Joe agrees and then they separate for class.

"We have to try them on to see if they fit." Blaine said as he and Sam entered a classroom to try on their graduation robes.

"Small, medium, large, it's not that complicated, okay? I'm sure they all fit." Sam reasoned.

"Well, we should just try them on to see what they look like." He adds and they try on the outfits and look to each other and really take in what's happening. "Holy crap, I can't believe this is actually happening."

Tina enters the room. "Hey, guys. What's...?" Tina said.

"Tina... Oh, no, no, ,no No, please d... I know this is hard for you, but come on, please. Try not to cry." Blaine said.

"I'm not ready to say good-bye to you guys yet." Tina cries.

"Well, it's not good-bye. They call graduation commencement because it's not the end of something, it's the beginning." he reasons.

"You say that so we'll go willingly. Sam, you and Mike were so close. Puck, too. When was the last time you talked to them?" She asks him.

"I-I don't know. I can't remember." Sam said weakly.

"Rachel and I haven't spoken on the phone in months, I haven't spoken to here since you two went to New York. And yes, I know we all love each other, but the fact is the glue that holds high school friendships together is high school. Being around each other every day, seeing each other in the halls. Whenever something is up, we don't have to do any work to talk to our friends about it, they're right there. As soon as it takes effort, we get lazy and then we forget and then we just move on. I don't want to fade away."

"But it doesn't have to go down like that, though babe. Like, my dad's best friends are still his high school buddies. And they can go, like, a year without talking to each other and they get together and they don't miss a beat." Sam said.

"Yeah, and with Facebook and e-mail and blogs and stuff it's much easier to stay in touch."

"Look here, I'll make you a deal. I promise that, for the rest of our lives, I will send one Vine of me doing an impression every week."

"Aw." Blaine finds this cute.

"And then you can send me one of you soaping up your boobs." Sam adds, causing a frown.

"Dude. Inappropriate." Blaine disagrees.

"Three years together, plus dating and he finally notices my boobs? Victory!" Tina said, causing confusion from Blaine.

"We are all going to be friends for life. I promise. And we still have some high school left, right? You know what we need to do? We need to say good-bye to this place with some heroism and some drama. We got to do something so epic that in 30 years time, we can just call each other up and reminisce about it." He said.

"I know, let's sneak a cow into school." Sam suggests.

"I was thinking more like an overnight lock-in. I'll talk to the student council, and I'll get them to approve it." He thought out loud.

"Sounds dangerous. I'm in." Sam said.

"Yes! Me, too." Tina said excitedly.

"Okay guys, if we're gonna do this you need to promise me one thing. Pleeease don't make this a date. I'm happy for you and all, but this is our thing. Our little trio. Tonight you aren't boyfriend and girlfriend. Tonight we're three friends having a good time." Blaine begs.

"Ye-Yeah sure Blaine. Anything for my best friend." Sam agrees.

"Of course. We don't wanna ruin this. No third wheeling. No making out. Just us as friends." Tina also agrees.

"Three-way show circle?" Sam asks.

They get together to do the show circle. "A...mazing!"

Tina starts walking the halls surrounded by students but then they hear the P.A. and Sue Sylvester begins her announcement.

"Attention McKinley students. I have just been informed that the McKinley High Student Council has voted to approve the First Annual Senior Lock-In this weekend." Cheers erupted throughout the halls.

"And I regret to inform you that I'm cancelling this event, due to budget cuts, safety concerns, and... oh, I don't know... let's say Obamacare."

Tina starts to cry and slides down the wall until Sam and Blaine hear her and run to her. "Oh, Tina... oh, my gosh, are you okay?" Sam said.

"The lock-in was cancelled!" She said crying.

"Oh, Tina, why are you so worried about it? We just thought of that yesterday." Blaine reminds her.

"I know it would have been our first lock-in, Blaine, but it would have been our last lock-in, Blaine, and now, we don't have that at all! Every day that passes is another day closer to never seeing each other ever again!" She tells them.

"Okay, okay, okay, okay, um, uh... How about this? How about... how about we, um, have - our own lock-in? Just the three of us?" Blaine comes up with.

"How would we manage that?" Tina asks.

"Easy. Here's what we'll do, okay? We'll climb in through one of the choir room windows. We'll leave one unlocked, and no one will ever notice." Sam said.

"Yeah, how about it, Tina? What do you say?" Blaine asks and she nods. "All right. Let's get you up."

"Now, Tina, I've been meaning to ask you. Are your boobs getting bigger?" Sam asks and while Blaine is disgusted Tina smiles. "Is it possible?"

"Yes. Yes, they are, Sam. Thank you. You're the best." Blaine just stares very disgusted and confused.

They sneak in through the window with Blaine in his Nightbird costume. He really loves that costume but they ignore it and focus on the awesome time their about to have.

(Simple Minds' Don't You starts playing)

Sam:
Hey, hey, hey ,hey
Ohhh...

Won't you come see about me?
I'll be alone, dancing you know it baby

{Sam and Blaine compete in a fire extinguisher race, Blaine no longer in his Nightbird costume and with Tina at the finish line.}

Blaine:
Tell me your troubles and doubts
Giving me everything inside and out and
Love's strange so real in the dark
Think of the tender things that we were working on

{They hang out in Sue's office and draw eyes on their chin and lie on the desk.}

Tina:
Slow change may pull us apart
When the light gets into your heart, baby

{They go to Ms. Pillsbury's office and take pamphlets}

Blaine, Sam, and Tina:
Don't you forget about me
Don't, don't, don't, don't
Don't you forget about me

{They all go on roller skates with Sam on a skateboard, all wearing Cheerios outfits. Though Sam's wearing the skirt.}

As you walk on by
Will you call my name?
As you walk on by
Will you call my name?
When you walk away

Sam (Blaine and Tina):
(La la la la, la la la la) Or will you walk away?
(La la la la, la la la la) Will you walk on by?
(La la la la, la la la la) Come on - call my name
Will you call my name? (La la la la, la la la la)

{They all lie together head on head.}

Blaine:
Come on, come on
Call my name!

Sam and Tina (Blaine):
La la la la la,
La la la la, (Call my name, yeah!)
La la la la la, la la la la, (You can call my name!)
La la la la la, (Yeah!)
La la la la, (You can call my name!)
La la la la la, la la la la, (Ooh, yeah!)
La la la la la, (Oh)
La la la la, (You can call me)
La la la la la, la la la la, (Call me, call my name!)
La la la la la, (Yeah!)
La la la la, (Oh!)
You can call my name! (You can call my name!)

They end the song rolling on the halls with their cheerios outfits until a flashlight shines on their eyes.

"Busted! Your fat asses are mine." It was Becky carrying a satchel. She forces them to come to the auditorium with her. She sets down the satchel and reveals a twister board and 11-hour energy drinks. A lot of energy drinks.

"Let's get this party started! 11-hour energies for everybody! Woo!"

"Uh, we don't want to be rude, but..." Tina said confusingly.

"I can't hear you, Chang-Chang! I'm too busy drinkin' my 11-hour energies! Oh, yeah, baby!" She said,

"Don't you think you need to slow down a little bit on the energy drinks there, Becky? By the way, how did you even get in here?" Sam questions.

"I climbed through the window, fool!" She explained. "It's time for Twister! Every time you fall down, you drink one of these."

"Becky, we'll die." Sam disagrees.

"Party in the U.S.A.!" She ignores her.

"All right, that-that sounds really fun, um, but we were thinking that we would just do our own thing tonight." Blaine tries to reason.

"Think again, Gay Blaine! If you don't play Twister with me, I'm calling the cops. Oh, snap!" Becky said, throwing the energy drinks at her.

Joe rolls his bowling ball across the path until it reaches a strike and he jumps for joy.

"Nice one Joe. You're on a roll. Pun intended." Sugar said, causing a laugh to ensue in the group.

"You know what? This was a great idea. Just the four of us. Hanging out. Getting to know each other more. Normally I don't go for that and just roll my eyes at both of you when you speak but now I think I'm closer to you." Kitty said.

"Thanks Kitty. I think?" Rory said.

"Don't mention."

"So guys. I was thinking maybe next year two of us should try co-captaining. Yeah like Blaine and Tina do sometimes. Like Finn and Rachel." Joe said.

"That sounds nice, but I'm not sure I'm ready for that kind of thing. Leadership grabs my nerves." Rory replies.

"I hear you Rory, but I'm totally down for it. I tried leading The TroubleTones, but obviously no one took me seriously due to my voice. But I think people would be open to the idea now right?"

"Umm, yeah lets go with that." Kitty said, looking away.

"Speaking of which, I've been thinking we should probably reboot The TroubleTones. Last year people loved us, and if it wasn't for that Michael medley the New Directions did, we would have won Sectionals."

"Umm, yeah that sounds great. Next year we could start auditions, get Bree in, maybe Kitty, and you could lead." Joe suggested.

"Hey, what are The TroubleTones?" Kitty asks.

Rory nods as he explains. "Oh, they were an all female branch of the New Directions. Last year Sugar, Mercedes, Brittany, and Santana, though Brittany joining was my fault, came together to start their own glee club made of only women. They were really good, especially when Santana and Mercedes sang together. They went against us at Sectionals but when they did Survivor/I Will Survive, we did a medley of Michael Jackson songs. Though everyone but me got to sing it was still fun. It was... actually my first competition."

"Mine too." Sugar adds.

Kitty loves that idea. "Wow, okay I'm totally in for that. But I'm totally the co-captain in that group."

Sugar smiles. "All for it. I'll need some cheerios for this to work. We need good dancers for our songs."

Joe decides to chime back in. "So Kitty, if it's okay with you we were hoping to do this again."

"Oh yeah. It will be fun. I'm in. Double dates should happen more often."

"Actually I'm not talking about another double date." Kitty looks to Joe with a raised eyebrow. "Well... we were thinking of having some time to spend as Juniors. Next year we'll be seniors and we want to take it as an opportunity to get closer. Maybe bring Harmony in on it too, and Unique."

"So while you're off hanging out with other girls-"

Rory said. "I'll be there too."

"Like I said, I'll be alone while you are hanging out with other girls." She said not worrying about offending Rory.

"Kitty this isn't about us. We just wanted to grow a little more, and try to get a little more of a spotlight from it. Maybe you could do the same with Marley, Ryder, and Jake."

"Oh yeah, so I can have shoulders to cry on while you get ready to leave me."

"What, no! That's not what I mean at all." Joe said.

"You ever stop to think about how I feel about this Joe? Maybe I want to spend as much time as possible with my boyfriend before he graduates next year?" This causes a pause to occur. "Yeah. You know what? Have your fun. I think I'm gonna go. See you in Glee club." She stands up and walks away leaving them all to their thoughts.

"Awkward." Rory said before getting a slap in the arm from Sugar. "Ouch."

"Rory!"

Blaine is in the middle of more Twister with Becky who startles him when he sees her face talking to him.

"Hi, hot stuff." Becky flirts.

Blaine sighs. "Hi." He then falls.

"Ah-ha-ha-ha! You lose again!"

"Time-out. I-I'm getting a cramp in my leg. How long have Sam and Tina been gone?" He questions concerned for his friends.

"Oh, who cares? Tina is boring. I hate Sam's haircut. It makes his forehead look too big." Becky insults.

He gets his shoes. "You know what? I'm gonna... walk this cramp off." He excuses himself to go find his best friends.

"Okay. When you come back, I'll be here." Becky lies down flirtatiously. "I can have some more energy drinks."

Blaine walks the halls searching for his friends. "Sam? Tina? Tina?" He walks to a class room and finds Tina and Sam making out. What Tina specifically said not to do.

"Oh! What the hell are you doing?!"

"Nothing!" They both said as they stood up and walked to him quickly.

"Seriously guys! You had one job! To not make me feel like a third wheel. And, you're just, ugh! Oh, I can't!" Blaine's too disgusted to even look at them.

"I'm sorry, it was the 11-hour energies!" Tina reasons.

"And cheap, sordid nostalgia." Sam adds, not wanting Blaine to leave.

"This was supposed to be our night. Our little family, our friendly threesome. It was our last chance to hang out together, and you... you ruined it."

"Actually, that was Becky! With her Twister!" Sam said but Blaine barely heard him as he ran away disgusted.

"Blaine, come back!" Tina tried but he didn't listen. And he was gone.

Joe, Rory and Sugar think about what to do about Kitty.

Rory makes a suggestion. "Look, maybe we should do more double dates. And when we hang out we do it at the opposite time of the week so she never notices."

Sugar shakes her head "She'll figure it out. Then she'll probably be so upset that she'll break up with him."

"Okay, maybe we include her in some of our conversations."

Joe sighs. "Guys, her problem isn't any of us. It's the fact that she doesn't want to say goodbye. All that talk Mr. Schue had about how we only have so much time before it ends must've gotten to her."

Rory nods. "You're right. We need to do something. Something that will tell her that no matter what you'll never really leave her. She can always email you after you leave?" He suggests and Sugar points to him in agreement.

"I don't own a computer." Joe reminds them.

Sugar raises her hand. "I'll buy you one. We'll go to the store tomorrow, pick one out, and you'll have yourself a way to do Face-times everyday!"

"Yeah... Yeah that could work. Then we never even have to say goodbye and I'll visit Lima and the year after we can move in! Guys that's genius!"

Rory shrugs. "Just doing our part. Hey, maybe we could take your mind off it with a little song. I've never had the chance to do a rock song."

"Oh yeah, that would be fun! Let's do that." Sugar agrees.

"I-i don't know. I'm not sure if I'm feeling a song right now." Joe said sadly

Sugar shakes her head. "Nonsense, there is never a time where a song won't cheer you up. I'll go to the karaoke." She runs to the karaoke machine and begins a song.

Rory looks to Joe. "Relax. You two will be back in sync. Like a good couplet." Joe smiles at that as the music plays.

(Laura Branigan's Gloria starts playing)

Sugar:
Gloria
You're always on the run now
Running after somebody
You gotta get him somehow

{Joe and Rory run to the karaoke machine. Joe takes a microphone, same with Rory.}

Joe:
I think you've got to slow down
Before you start to blow it
I think you're headed for a breakdown
So be careful not to show it

Rory and Sugar:
You really don't remember

Sugar (and Rory):
Was it something that they said?
(Are the voices in your head calling Gloria?)

Sugar, Joe and Rory:
Gloria

Sugar (with Joe and Rory):
A-ha-ha, a-ha-ha (Gloria)
Don't you think you're (fallin'?)
If everybody (wants you)

Joe, Rory and Sugar:
Why isn't anybody callin'?
You don't have to answer
Leave them hangin' on the line, oh-oh-oh
Calling Gloria

Joe and Sugar(Sugar):
Gloria (Gloria)
I think they got your number (Gloria)
I think they got your alias (Gloria)
That you've been living under (Gloria)

Joe (Sugar):
But you really don't remember (Woah, oh)

Rory (Joe and Sugar):
Was it something that they said? (Ooh)
Are the voices in your head (Ooh)
Calling Gloria? (Aah)

Sugar, Joe and Rory:
Gloria (Rory: Oh, Gloria) (Sugar: Ooh)

Sugar with the Spotlight Diner Workers):
Gloria (Joe: Oooh)
Gloria (Joe: I think they got your number)
Gloria (Joe: Gloria)

Rory:
Gloria (Sugar: Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh)

Joe (Sugar):
Gloria (Do-do) (Sugar and Rory: Uh-oh)

Sugar:
Gloria

Joe:
Gloria (Sugar: They got your, they got your number)

Rory, Joe and Sugar:
Gloria

They end the song with a group hug.

"Blaine, come on, wait up." Sam said the next day as Blaine walks down the halls Sam and Tina follow him.

"I can't even look at either of you, that's how grossed out I am." Blaine responds.

"Please stop. We owe you an apology." Tina said.

"Yes, yes, you do. The whole point of this lock-in was for the three of us to have fun together. Instead, the two of you run off and make it about yourselves with your making out and your gross boob talk. I get that you both wanted to spend time together and I'm happy for you since you're dating but you guys can't ignore me and make out like that."

"Blaine, Sam and I just needed to get it out of our system." She reasons.

"Yeah, we were making out and it was hot and everything, but we decided that we should focus more on you."

"Exactly. We're still going out, but we're willing to set it aside for you."

"So, look, Tina and I, we don't want to be a duet; we want to be a trio again, the three of us."

"Why don't the three of us hang out tonight, no Twister, no making out, no Becky."

"No. We tried that, and you ruined it. You know, I heard that Joe, Kitty, and the juniors were going on a double date with bumper bowling... and you know how much I love bumper bowling... I decided not to ask to join in because I figured they were just gonna make out the whole time, and I didn't want to be a fifth wheel. And then, lo and behold, the two of you run off during our fun night of shenanigans and mischief, and you turn it into some kind of creepy face-sucking slurp-a-thon which I still can't get out of my head! So I guess you guys can just have fun hanging out by yourselves tonight and... fondle each other's boobs, or whatever." Blaine then walks away to vent his feelings somewhere else.

Sam looks at Tina. "I mean, do you want to...?"

Tina thought for a moment before responding. "Not now." She looked up at him and gave him a peck on the cheek and walked away.

Kitty received a text from Joe the next day to meet up at Sugar's place. She decided to hear him out, but she was still upset about earlier. She enters Sugar's room and sees Joe, Sugar, and Rory sitting down in wait of her.

"So why did you text me to meet you here?"

"Because Rory and Sugar wanted to be involved, and they both live here so... it seemed like the best choice."

"Yeah, best choice for them."

"Look Kitty, I know you. This isn't about them, it's about us. I know we only have another year before I graduate, but thats not gonna be it. We can still stay together for another year, and then you can graduate and we can maybe, move in together."

"That didn't work out for Tina and that Mike guy did it?" Kitty starts to shed tears. "Let's face it. The only thing keeping high school relationships together is high school. Sure we're good now, but eventually the time and distance apart is gonna take a toll... and eventually we'll lose each other."

Joe takes her hands. "It doesn't have to be. Not if we don't let it. We won't lose each other as long as we keep trying. We can do face-times, I can visit when I'm not in college. And next year I promise I will take as much time as I can to be with you, and we can still include you in our juniors plan. We'll call it... The Junior and Kitty star program." Kitty laughs at that and the others join in.

"Okay, I'll admit, that doesn't sound too bad. But I need you to promise me... that no matter what happens, you'll come back to me. Okay?" She stares at him.

"I promise." He said as he smiled at her. They then gave themselves a kiss and and embrace.

"Aww that's cute." Rory said, kind of ruining the moment. Sugar slaps him in the arm again. "Ow!"

"You dork." Sugar said before pecking him in the cheek. They all laugh and join in a group hug together.

Blaine enters the choir room to find Sam and Tina sitting on the piano waiting for something. They then look at him and walk towards him.

"Hey." Sam greets.

"Hey." Blaine responds.

"So, I thought you were gonna climb in through the window." Sam said and Blaine chuckles.

"I think I'm retiring my cape."

"Guess you're outgrowing a lot of things." Tina said looking at the ground.

"No, I freaked out. And I was wrong and I'm sorry. I thought we were gonna have the perfect senior year, and the one that we got has been so weird and really hard. And so when I tried to plan the perfect night out and it didn't go the way that... that I'd hoped, I-I flipped out." they nodded in understanding. "And I guess I found it shocking to find two people kissing that I never really expected to find kissing, but, really, that happens all the time around here."

"Mhm." Tina agrees.

"It does. Yeah." Sam said.

"You were right, Tina. Everything is changing, and I get why you want to try everything before it changes for good. But the one thing I can promise is not gonna change is that we are gonna be friends forever."

"Mm-hmm."

"I like the sound of that." They all do a group hug.

"I'm sorry, guys." Blaine apologizes again.

"What do you all think's gonna happen to this place when we leave? I mean, there's only gonna be, like, ten kids in the glee club. So I guess they're in good hands."

"Yeah, I think Sugar and Kitty's gonna reboot the Trouble Tones." Tina said causing them to look in amazement. "It feels so weird to think about Glee Club going on without us."

"Well, at least we can leave them with a second national championship to remember us with." Sam adds as Artie enters the room annoyed at them.

"Ménage-a-gross." He said.

"Hey, Artie, uh, you want to join us? We're just having, like, a little senior moment if you want to, you know, take part." He offers but Artie is uninterested.

"No, I don't want to interrupt your power trio." He replied sarcastically

"All right, all right, all right, all right! Okay! Ladies and gentlemen, one week until nationals." Everyone applauds the news. " Okay, I was planning on ordering dinner in and working you guys deep into the night, but then I realized that worrying too much about what you're trying to accomplish actually gets in the way of what you're trying to accomplish. And as a coach who knows what a national championship team looks like, I have to say..." Mr. Schue pauses for dramatic effect. "You guys are ready." Everyone cheers at this, feeling really proud of themselves for hearing this from their coach.

"Except for one thing. Don't forget your sunblock because this time next week, we are gonna be in sunny Los Angeles."

"Wait, Mr. Shue, Mr. Shue." Blaine stops them for a moment. So, for us seniors, this is one of our last Glee Club meetings. It's kind of a big deal. We were wondering if we could just do one last number."

"Yes, please." He agrees.

"And we wanted to ask Artie to be a part of the trio with us." Sam said.

"Yeah, if memory serves, a quartet is 25% more powerful. We're just a little slow at the math." Tina said.

"I was right." Artie cheers.
