Third Person POV
Sarajevo, Bosnia: Warehouse (Years Ago)
'SCRAAAAPE!' The sound of a crowbar being dragged against the floor resonated within the confines of the warehouse. Causing slight fear to be instilled in the teenage boy who was strapped down in a chair, in the center of the building.
This was Jason Todd, the 2nd Robin, trying desperately to break out of his confines, but no such luck was bestowed on him. His utility belt was tossed away, far from reach.
"Ah, Ah, no need to try to fly away little birdie. You can't escape. Don't want the old Boy, or should I say Man Wonder to interrupt us, or his little friends for that matter. Hehe. Now would we?" The figure says and Jason looks up at the man who holds him captive, and just smirks.
"Are you done? You pasty faced piece of-!" Jason starts but only to get hit across the face with the crowbar, drawing blood from his mouth.
"QUIET! That is rude! I would've thought the Bat taught you a thing or two about manners!" The figure says and Jason turns his head back, his smirk widening.
The Joker smiled at this, running a hand through his green hair, regaining his composure.
He then leaned forward in Jason's face, close and personal.
"Cocky little birdie aren't ya? Man Wonder was like that too. But I never did get to breaking that oh so joyus spirit of his..." Joker says then punches Jason across the face, making him fall over in the chair.
"...So I guess I'll have to break yours. HAHAHAHAHA!"
League Of Shadows Monastery: Present (AFTER S4 EP 8)
GASPS* Jolting up from his laying position, Jason breathes hard, his reaction startling the healers that surrounded him.
He regains his composure and controls his breathing.
"Are you alright, sir? The lead healer asked and Jason nods, then stands up fully, and grabs his mask.
"Y-Yes. You...may...leave now." He says, his speech broken and slurred, but improving.
The healers all leave the room and Jason puts on his mask and the rest of his gear, and lastly, putting his hood up over his head and sheathing his sword.
"The healers have treated your wounds, yes?" A voice asks and he turns to see Talia Al Ghul, dressed in her usual black jumpsuit and heels.
"They...have." He replies and turns to face Talia, and bows his head.
"I saw you when you were sedated. You woke up quite abrupt...Another memory?" Talia questions and Jason pauses for a moment before answering.
"Yes." Jason responds, his head lowering to the ground as flashes of memories came back.
Talia walked up to him, and lifted his head so he could face her.
"What do you remember, Jason?" Talia asks, her look showing one of concern and almost, a mother like affection.
"I...everything." He says, and Talia smiles and takes her hand off his chin.
"Good. Your memories have finally returned. I hope it will be enough of an advantage." She states and Jason was confused, but remained composed.
"You're training here is done, Jason. It is time for you to-" She starts but Jason interrupts her.
"I don't wanna go back!" He exclaims, surprisingly in a full sentence and Talia is taken back but remains calm.
"I know. You're not returning to your home. Not until you decide so...You will train under a new instructor. And in turn, become part of their guild, one that is more powerful than the League of Assassins." She explains and Jason's eyes widen.
"B-But...I am to protect...Damian." He points out and Talia chuckles.
"You know he has been training. Your concern is noted, but uneeded. He will be fine." Talia assures and Jason thinks about it.
After several moments, he sighs and responds.
"When...will I...leave?" He asks and notices several League members at the entrance of the corridor.
"Now."
Front of The Monastery
Jason had his belongings and weapons, packed into a duffle bag and was now walking outside, seeing League mystics formed in a circle.
"What...is this?" Jason asks confused and Talia appears at his side, smirking.
"Our form of transportation." She answers and the mystics start chanting, and energy flows into the circle, shocking Jason as then a portal opens in front of them.
Talia steps forward, halfway in and motions for Jason to follow her, and he does, hesitantly at first, but eventually enters through the portal.
Location: ???
Jason and Talia stepped out of the portal and now stand in front of what seems to be an entrance of some kind. Immediately, Jason notices the change in environment and looks around seeing the many waterfalls and platforms that were held together by tree branches.
A/N: I'M TERRIBLE AT DESCRIBING STUFF
But, as he did, Jason was then surrounded by unknown warriors who appeared to be fitted in Monk attire. Instinctively, he draws his sword and is ready to defend himself.
"No need, Jason. They are on edge. Right, Lady Ducra?" She asks and Jason looks forward to see an old woman, short with white hair tied into a ponytail with blue kitty hair-clips. She wore attire, again, that of a monk.
"Yes, yes, Talia. Please students, lower your weapons." Ducra orders and the warriors retracted their swords and Jason kept his sword out, angry.
"Is this...how you...greet all...students?" He says through sneered teeth and Ducra chuckles.
"My, aren't you the puffy little man-child?" She teases and Jason raises an eyebrow, his anger rising.
"My...name is...Ja-" He starts but gets interrupted by Ducra who waves her hand, dismissing his current sentence.
"Shush! Bow before your superior, man-child." Ducra demands and Jason chuckles then kneels down and is close in her face.
"Sure...if i...ever...meet one." He defies and Talia's eyes widen.
"Jason, do not-" She starts but holds her sentence as she watches Jason get disarmed and knocked on his back, unconscious, in a matter of seconds.
"I've been doing this for three thousand years. It took you only six seconds to torgue me off. That has to be some kind of record." Ducra states and faces Talia.
"Seriously, Talia. What am I supposed to do with that lump of rage? On top of that, he can barely form sentences." Ducra questions and Talia face-palms.
"Admittedly, Jason is...complicated. And rough around the edges. But his speech will be normal, soon." Talia explains and the two start walking.
"Few years ago, he was raised from the dead, the cause of this was-" She continued but Ducra interrupts her once again.
"The Lazarus Pit. I know, I smell it on him. Did that go well with your Father?" Ducra asks and Talia nods.
"He was...surprisingly supportive. Lady Ducra, before Jason was murdered, he had potential to be a great man. With your training, that still may very well be the case. I believe he deserves that chance, no?" Talia states and Ducra scoffs.
"You're wrong. He's going to be the death of us. The death of many." She diminishes and Talia narrows her eyes.
"So, no? You will not train him?" Talia questions and Ducra shakes her head.
"Of course I will. The thought of leaving him to the rest of the world--leaving the world at the mercy of him--is unacceptable." Ducra finishes and sees Jason waking up.
"You better hope he is what you believe, Talia." She warns and Talia smiles.
"He is. I know it."
