BTW guys this show is owned by Ryan Murphy. Also sorry to say that I won't be including the scenes that including the New York crew. Sorry. But I will make them relevant again next episode, I promise. BTW next episode after I'm done with it... I'm going to be taking a break from this story. I wanted to focus more on Legends. I know that this story always had more passion and I became a better writer because of it, but now it's time for me to focus on the Golden Legend that is Lisa Snart. Also when we get to the finale, please comment on whether you want her to stay in the team, or join team flash and have a long lasting relationship with Cisco. Kamilla wasn't exactly my favorite character anyways so...
After the New Directions' loss at nationals, they received news that the alumni were returning for the 100th lesson of Glee Club. Rachel, Kurt, Puck, Matt... everyone was coming home to celebrate!
Will steps forward to announce their entrances. "Alright, to begin, I'd like to welcome... from New York city, give a warm welcome to Rachel Berry, Kurt Hummel and Santana Lopez!" They all cheered, especially the seniors and Marley. She was the one that Santana mentored before Sectionals. Tina, Blaine, Sam and Artie go to greet them, especially to Rachel, who had recently gotten herself a role on Broadway. But... Kurt and Rachel were in for a surprise.
"Good to see you two again." Harmony said, and both the resident divas turned to greet her, and when they saw her repressed memories erupted. This was the gerber baby that terrified them at the Nyada Mixer last year. They almost decided not to go to Nyada after her Anything Goes/Anything You Can Do mash-up.
Kurt froze for a few moments before blinking and snapping out of it. "Oh, Harmony. Good to see you again. How long has it been?"
Harmony smiled sweetly. "Oh, I don't know. 1 Year, 4 Months, 3 weeks and 5 days, but who's counting?"
Kurt wasn't sure how to respond. "Well... I guess you are."
Harmony laughs. "Ha ha, so I am. So what have you been doing in New York?"
"Oh, well I've been doing well with my cover band. Rachel and Santana were in it, but they were out because-."
Rachel cuts in. "-Because I had to focus on my career. Hi, Rachel Berry." Rachel shakes Harmony's hand. "I'm sure you've heard about my new role on Broadway."
"Yes! I heard all about the new Fanny Brice on the Broadway blogs. I can't believe I knew you while you were just a senior. I am so glad I got to know you, and I hope I can join the Nyada family so I can see more from you."
"Well I'll be looking out for you in two years."
"Umm, actually-"
"Good talk, bye." Rachel said as she runs to talk to someone else. Harmony turns to talk to Kurt who had gone to the stands with her fiancé.
Will announces the next entry. "And from Sunny Los Angelos, you remember them from last week! It's... Mercedes Jones, Matt Rutherford, and Noah Puckerman!" Our friends from last week walk through the door excited. Jake runs in to give his brother a big hug. Unique too, but with Mercedes.
"Next we have an old choreographer, and booty camp assistant, Mike Chang." Mike entered the room like a sports-man being introduced in a game. He started running to give everyone in the front row high fives, before jumping to sit next to his mentee Ryder, whom he fist-bumps. Matt goes up to join them and sits in-between Blaine and Mike.
Unique pulls away. "So, how have you been doing since last week."
Mercedes tilts her head. "Mm, not much, but my album is coming along nicely."
"Oh, I can't wait for that album to drop." Unique snaps her fingers in her honor.
"Thank you." Mercedes thanks her before Unique leaves to sit in the front row.
"Next we have, all the way from New Haven, Quinn Fabray!" As Quinn walks into the room, Joe, Sam and Kitty sprint to talk to her.
"Hey Quinn!" Joe said, glad to see his former crush/crusher.
"Hey, Joe. Hey I didn't notice before, nice hair." Quinn said.
"Yeah, I wanted a change." He said.
"Well, it's nice, though Sam's hair is more of a blast from the past." She puts her hand on Sam's head to mess it up. He just laughs at her playfulness. She turns to Kitty"Ah, my old mentee. How's it going mini me?"
Kitty geeks out at that phrase. "I've been waiting all year to hear those words." Kitty then hugs Quinn who hugs back happy to be worshipped.
Quinn then puts her hand on Kitty's shoulder. "Well, keep at it. Stay cool on the top of that pyramid."
Kitty's smile fades. "Augh, I actually have to share it with Bree over there." She points at her Co-captain/Rival. "We're kind of frenemies."
"Ah, well keep at it too. If I didn't have Santana to push me, I wouldn't be as resilient as I am today." She said before walking to sit in the front row.
Kitty turns to her friends. "Isn't she the best? So how do you guys know her? I mean, outside of Glee Club."
Sam has a cautious look before telling her. "Actually, we both used to date her. I mean... not together, separately. Like I dated her first then he did." He said.
Kitty stares at her boyfriend with a shocked face before shaking him. "YOU DATED QUINN FABRAY AND NEVER TOLD ME?!"
Joe grabs her to calm her down. "Whoa, whoa! I didn't date her. We just had feelings for each other. We never really acted on it. I did help her with her rehab after her car accident though." Joe took her hand and they took their seats in the front row between Unique and Rory.
"And lastly, all the way from Massachusetts, you know her, you love her, she went to this same club this year before going to M.I.T. give it up for... BRITTANY S. PIERCE." Every member of the Glee Club who knew her shouted out for their former teammate. Sugar ran forward to tackle her in a hug. Brittany who barely caught her turned to everyone.
"Hey, everyone. After coming back I had to come see you first. Well... after bailing Lord Tubbington out of jail first. He was caught selling drugs again." She and Sugar walk to their seats, next to Rory and Santana. We cut to see Rachel and Mercedes being the only ones still standing. They glare at each other due to both their successes, knowing that they need a way to express their dominance. They turn their heads towards the most sacred of chairs. The Rachel chair. They both sprint towards it before Rachel reaches it first and sits on it facing Mercedes with a smirk.
Kurt whispers to them in an annoyed tone. "Greet each other." He said.
Mercedes sighs before going first. "Hello, Rachel. I am so happy to hear about all of your... success."
"Oh, thank you so much, Mercedes. And you are looking well." Rachel said pretending to be nice but really saying in her head 'I'm not congratulating you for writing a few dumb songs.'
"Thank you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll make my way to the back of the bus." Mercedes said with a fake smile.
Will writes 100 on the whiteboard before speaking. "100 lessons." He said.
Puck raises his hand. "Hey, can I get Finn's plaque when we clear this place out?"
"No, the plaque stays here. Lillian and Finn belong here at McKinley." He pauses to bask at his old students return. "It means so much to me that all of you came back on such short notice to celebrate the past few years. To sit in this room one last time and sing. Your assignment is to sing one of the songs we sang in here, but reinvented in some way. Way back in the old days when I started the glee club, I would give an assignment, and then I would... I would give a little demonstration of what I was looking for."
"Yeah!" They all cheer for Will's demonstration. He hasn't done that since year one.
Santana raises her hand to calm them down. "See, you all cheer now, but just wait till he starts rapping."
"Okay, i wish but, no hip-hop today, Santana. However, I have asked a very special person to come join me. And it seemed appropriate since her contributions helped save the glee club, or at least the auditorium way back when." They know exactly who's coming today and they're excited. "Please welcome, all the way from Broadway, Miss April Rhodes!" And with that April Rhodes, with a whole new haircut walks in to greet them.
"Hey, y'all!" She said.
Tina turns to Marley while everyone's clapping. "You know, she once taught me how to shoplift meat - in my vagina." She said excitingly.
Marley stays frozen for a moment before turning to her confused. "Wait what?"
A few minutes later they're all gathered at the piano to listen to April Rhodes while they helped themselves to glasses of beer, despite legally not being allowed to but... you know Glee, there are never consequences.
"So, Mr. Moneybags says to me, he says, "April Rhodes, you sing like an angel and make love like a tiger. But the old ball and chain's got your number. So I'm afraid I gots to set you loose." So, you know what he did?" She told with a look that makes her look sad. before smiling with pride. "He bought me an island!" They're amazed and surprised for this news. " That's right. I own my own island in the Caribbean called Santa Abrilrodeo. It's not war-torn or filled with landslides or got destitute locals in it. Just me and my manservant Kadeem. With long, sensuous nights full of home-brewed poi and intimate massage..."
Will decides to stop the story there. "Okay, thank you, April, for that... wonderful lesson in female empowerment."
"Amen!" She agrees.
Artie raises his hand. "Amen, but... why are we all holding these plastic champagne flutes?"
"'Cause we are about to pop the cork with some bubbly. But don't worry, this Spumante is virgin." She points to Unique. "Probably like you will be for a long time." She laughs and Unique processes this before glaring at her with Ryder patting her shoulder.
"Anyways... Will and I want you to raise your glass to celebrate the glee club by singing hands down the best song New Directions ever did."
"Wait a second, the New Directions! never sang "Raise Your Glass." The Warblers did that." Blaine corrects.
"I was wondering why it didn't annoy me every time I heard it in my head. I always have had a soft spot in my heart for you prep school boys." She holds his nose. "Honk! Hit it, boys." She said before..
(P!nk's "Raise your Glass" starts playing)
April:
Right right, turn off the lights
We're gonna lose our minds tonight
What's the dealio?
{She starts playing with the lights}
Will (April):

Won't you come on and come on and
Raise your glass

Raise your glass
{Before they get to the end of the chorus, Joe grabs Rory, Unique, and Harmony, huddles them, whispers something that they all agree on and Joe walks in and starts singing much to their surprise}
Joe (with Will, April, New Directions and Alumni):
Slam slam, oh hot damn
What part of party don't you understand?
(We should just freak out)
Freak out already

Rory with New Directions and Alumni:

Unique(New Directions and Alumni):

April with Will, New Directions and Alumni:
So raise your glass
{Blaine gets behind April like he did with the warblers, and when we get to the chorus, Mike, Jake, and Matt dance with Will}
Will (and April) with New Directions and Alumni:
If you are wrong (April: Yeah, yeah)
In all the right ways

April and Will:

April:
Ugh!
"Whoa!" April said as they literally raised their glasses and cheered.
Voice over:
Puck is seen walking down the halls of McKinley to recall old memories.
'I was The Saw. That's what they called me. I sliced through this school like, well, like a saw. Dude got in my way? Sawed him. Set my sights on a chick? Sawed her. It would've been like a horror movie if I wasn't so awesome. But that guy's gone now. I have a purpose. To write badass movies about a pool cleaner saving the world. I don't look back. The past is dead to me.' He turns in the halls and sees the love of his life. Quinn Fabray. She's the only girl that he's had this feeling for. Well, except Lauren, but she dumped him so... her loss ' Except for maybe just one thing.'
Quinn intercepts Puck and smiles at him. "Hey, Puck."
"Hey. So, uh, have you seen my movie yet?"
"Yeah, it was a little questionable with the plot though."
Puck looks worried. "Are you serious or...?
"I'm just kidding. I really like that you're making movies now. Aand it's not just that. You've got this newfound confidence about you. So, um, do you know what song you're gonna sing for the glee club?"
"I'm not sure. Maybe we could go to Breadstix. Mull some potentials." He tries to convince her but she's distracted when she squeals when some dude touches her.
"You know it's my tickle spot! Hi." She kisses him.
"Hi. I got bored sitting at the hotel."
Puck looks at Quinn with a jealous look on his face. "Who's this?"
"Puck, this is my boyfriend. Biff Macintosh."
Puck raises his eyebrow "Like the Apple?"
"Yeah, exactly like it. My family planted the first Macintosh apple orchard in Pennsylvania. So, every time you have one of our apples, we get a nickel." He winks.
Quinn chuckles before introducing. "This is my very old, dear, dear friend Noah Puckerman."
Biff furrows his eyebrows. "Puck, Puckerman. Is that Jewish?"
"She never told you about me? How long you been going out?"
Quinn said. "About three months."
Biff explains. "Well, you know, Quinn doesn't really like to talk about her past, which is why I insisted on coming back too see it for myself, as boring as you said it might be. Mmm. I said, "If you want to meet Mother, I have to really get to know you first.""
"Wait, you call your mother "Mother"?" Puck laughs.
"I need to show Biff the auditorium." Quinn said before walking away, but Biff sticks around for a moment.
"Thank you so much. It's been great talking to you, Puck. It was good to meet you. I saw your movie by the way. Nice work. A little questionable with the plot though."
Our favorite Trio was reunited to give a showing of the most memorable assembly number the New Directions have ever done. The Unholy Trinity, complete with Cheerios outfits and everything.
(Britney Spears' Toxic starts playing)
Brittany, Quinn, and Santana:
Ah, ah, ah-ah-ah-ah
Ah, ah, ah-ah-ah-ah
Quinn:
Baby, can't you see
I'm calling
A guy like you
Should wear a warning
It's dangerous
I'm fallin'
{Quinn points to Biff who's just texting, not paying any attention}
Brittany:
There's no escape
I can't wait
I need a hit
Baby, give me it
You're dangerous
I'm lovin' it
Quinn with Brittany and Santana:
Too high, can't come down
Losing my head, spinning round and round
Do you feel me now
Santana with Brittany and Quinn (Quinn):
With a taste of your lips I'm on a ride
You're toxic, I'm slipping (Brittany and Santana: under)
(With a taste) of a poison paradise
Brittany with Quinn and Santana:
I'm addicted to you
Don't you know that you're toxic
And I love what you do
Don't you know that you're toxic
Brittany, Quinn, and Santana:
Oh, o-oh, ah-ah-ah
Oh, o-oh, ah-ah-ah
Quinn with Brittany (and Santana):
With a taste of your lips (I'm on a ride)
You're (toxic, I'm slipping) (Brittany and Santana: under)
(Quinn: With a taste) of a poison paradise (Santana: Oh-oh-oh-oh)
Brittany with Quinn (and Santana):
I'm addicted to (you)
Don't you (know that you're) (Brittany and Santana: toxic)
Brittany and Quinn (Santana):
Intoxicate me now (Ooh)
With your lovin' now (Ooh)
I think I'm ready now
Quinn (Santana):
I think I'm ready now (Ooh)
Brittany and Quinn (Santana):
Intoxicate me now (Ooh)
With your lovin' now (Ooh)
I think I'm ready now
Brittany, Quinn and Santana:
Ah-ah-ah-ah
Everyone who was seated opposite of the stands were cheering in admiration for the Unholy Trinity
"That is what I'm talking about, kiddos." April said before turning to Biff. "What did you think, Mr. Preppy McDimplebutt?"
Biff who just looked up from phone looked up trying to come up with a godo response "Oh, I thought it was, um, very energetic."
"Dude, you were texting the whole time." Mike said disappointed that Quinn's boyfriend didn't even pay attention to her performance.
"Yeah, well, he's very busy." Quinn defended nervously. " He's, um, president of a... of a secret society and also captain of the water polo team." The bell rings and everyone walks away.
As Mike walks down the hall Matt runs up to him to greet him. "Hey, brother from another mother!" Mike turned to him and was excited to see his old best friend and fellow dancer
"Hey, my dude!" Mike said and proceeded to give his friend a hug. "How ya been?"
Matt pulled back to talk. "Oh, I have been doing awesome. Ever since I went to L.A., things have been crazy! I got to hang out with Mercedes, I've been featured in music videos, and I've been doing great in my dance classes in UCLA."
"You went to UCLA?"
Matt smiles. "Yeah, but enough about me. What's been going on with you since I transferred two years ago."
Mike takes a moment to think before responding. "Okay, so over the summer, remember when I went to asian camp?" He waited for a nod which he received. "Well, Tina was there too, and we fell in love, we dated for like two years, I got to sing in 4 competition songs in senior year, and I got a scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet Academy of Dance."
"Wow, awesome. Anyway, the reason I came to talk to you was because I was thinking about a number we could do for Glee club."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah, Artie told me they did this number that I think would be perfect for us."
Mike offers him a fist-bump. "I'm in bro." Matt accepts and they head to the dance room to rehearse.
Harmony had invited Kurt over to the Lima bean to get to know him better. She remembers him from last year at Sectionals, but she hasn't really seen past the competitions and West Side Story which wasn't much since he played Officer Krupke.
Harmony and Kurt just got there coffee and are now heading to their table to talk. "Okay, I've met the performer, the actor, the Nyada student, jealous, but today I want to know Kurt Hummel. Tell me all about him." Harmony said like she was a reporter giving a celebrity an interview.
Kurt feels surprised by the amount of admiration shown by her. "O-oh, well, I guess I could start with my years in Glee club. Before that I was only a poor soul, being bullied because people didn't like who I was, or they were just jealous of my superior sense of fashion." Harmony laughed at that humor. "Well, then I joined the Glee club, and they helped me have the courage to come out, and even tell my father I was gay, which he accepted. Then the bullying took a tole, so I started going to Dalton, where I met the love of my life Blaine. Being in the Warblers was a part of my life I will always treasure. It really taught me the importance of unity. Then before Finn and Rachel smooched on stage at nationals I realized I wanted to stay in New York."
"Interesting. Any hobbies?"
"Oh uh, I love designing clothes. I even got an internship at ." He said. "How about you? What's your story?"
Harmony was proud to tell her story. "Well, I dedicated my life to music and broadway. I started taking singing lessons, and dance lessons when I was five. I go to New York every summer to see Broadway shows and think, "Wow, that's gonna be me one day." She looks up to think about her dreams, leaving Kurt with a look on his face that makes him look like he's confused about something. "And then I joined the Unitards, we made it all the way to nationals in our first year." This news surprised Kurt since they didn't even place at regionals in their first year. This girl is starting to scare him all over again. "But sadly we lost at the top 20. This year we got second at regionals thanks to Throat Explosion, so I decided to transfer to McKinley. Rory helped me audition."
"Cool. Hobbies?"
"Oh, I love video games."
Kurt takes a moment to process all she just said. "Other than the video game thing, you are basically Rachel. You know without the brown hair, since yours is black."
"Blond actually. I dye it. So how's life living with Rachel Berry?"
"Oh it's fun. We used to be rivals but we're really close. We're planning a number together for this week. We did a diva off with it at sophomore year."
"What is it."
"Defying Gravity."
Hearing this almost caused Harmony's jaw to fall to the ground. "From WICKED?!"
Kurt chuckles. "Yeah, but Rachel said Mercedes is joining in and they're having a diva off."
"Well," Harmony stands up to make an important statement. "Is there any room for one more?" She said with confidence and a smirk behind her.
Kurt has no idea how to say no. He knows that it would be unfair to leave her out of it, but he'll be sending Rachel to her doom with this girls talent. But then he realized, that after weighing his options, there really is only one choice.
Later that night in Breadstix, we find Quinn having dinner with her boyfriend Biff. Once again Biff is trying to know more about her, and she thought it would be best if she started with her favourite restaurant.
"I've never really noticed because I haven't spent that much time around them, but poor people are generally less attractive than rich ones." Biff said and chuckles.
Quinn takes a moment to admire the moment they're having and puts her hand on his leg."It means so much to me that you came back here. You know, it makes us feel so much more real."
Biff places his hand on hers and holds it. "Yeah, well, we are very real. I love you, Quinn, and I want to really get to know you."
Quinn prepares a good, yet accurate story. "Well, what do you want to know? I can tell you so many things, like the time that I..."
Biff turns away and sees members of the Glee club, most of which are alumni entering and an idea occurs. "Oh, no, not you. Hey, guys." They turn to see Biff signalling them. "Come here. Yeah, you. Come on."
Said members, are Artie, Matt, Mike, Puck and Santana, who each take a seat at Quinn and Biff's booth.
"Hey, guys." Puck said.
"Hi. Santana Lopez." Santana pulls her hand out for a hand shake which Biff accepts. "Word on the street is that you're old money. I'm a lesbian, but I'm totally into that." The irony is clear on everyone on that sentence right?
Mike offers his hand. "Mike Chang, Asian dancer."
"Matt Rutherford, Black dancer. Also, do you go by your full name every time you introduce yourself?" Matt asks Mike.
In response Mike says: "Well, everyone calls me by my full name anyways. Even Tina sometimes."
Ignoring the conversation Artie rolls forward and shakes Biff's hand. "And I'm Artie Abrams. I may look like a dweeb in a wheelchair, but I'll have you know I was excepted into the Brooklyn Film Academy."
Biff cuts to the chase. "So, what about Quinn? How would you describe her in one sentence?"
Mike goes first. "She's constantly surprising you. Like, one year, she showed up to school in the fall and decided she wanted to be a skank."
Santana joins in. "She dyed her hair pink, she got a Ryan Seacrest tattoo, and then lit a purple piano on fire."
Biff takes a moment to process this shocking introduction of her past. "Hold on one second. A piano?"
Quinn just laughs it off and tries to fool him. "They're-They're messing with you. Honey, I forgot my purse in the car, and I'd really love my lipstick and some lady things." She sends him away.
"Oh, absolutely. I'll go get it for you, sweetheart. No worries." He goes past Santana and Mike to get to the car.
Puck tries to get some answers. "What the hell was that?"
"Yeah, you totally dismissed what we said and just sent him off. What's up with that?"
"I am trying to present myself in a particular way, Matt. Biff's family is Philadelphia Main Line society, and if I get in with that, then my life is set."
"Wait, so you're just playing that rich boy for money? Devious" Santana congratulates and Quinn rolls her eyes.
"No, I do love him. I just want to set a good impression for his family. Then I'll tell him the truth."
"How do you cover up the tattoo, you know? Like, what? Magic?" Santana asks.
"I pay my roommate to apply three coats of cover-up makeup to my lower back before I see him."
"Does he know about us?" He refers to their past relationship. "About Beth?"
"I will tell him everything when I'm ready."
Joe strikes his gavel in the God Squad room. "I now call this New God Squad meeting to order. Any questions?" The New God Squad as our former dreaded Christian is revealed to be, Kitty Wilde, Unique Adams and Ryder Lynn.
Ryder raises his hand. "Yeah, why are we calling ourselves 'The New God Squad' all the sudden? We're here all the time."
Joe points his gavel at Ryder. "Ah, but you see, the original God Squad has made an appearance. This week is different, which is why I asked Sam not to meet us today. I would like to take this as an opportunity to serenade them all."
Kitty seems interested. "You mean we get to sing to Quinn Fabray? Count me in."
Ryder furrows his eyebrows. "What about Mercedes and Sam?"
"I'll take them or leave them."
Unique is not having that. "Excuse me, you do not just 'take or leave' Mercedes Jones. She is by far the greatest performer the New Directions has ever had!"
Kitty rolls her eyes. "Oh please, just because she's the biggest Diva doesn't mean she's all that. Quinn led the Cheerios to a national victory in her freshman year."
Joe raises his hand. "Hey, guys I love that you guys really care about them, but can we talk about this later? We need to rehearse."
Kitty glares at Unique before turning to Joe. "Fine, let's." She settles down but has a glare of with Unique, who's not backing down.
In the choir room another performance is about to begin. Music plays and you see Matt and Mike turned away from the rest of the group waiting and,
(Kenny Loggins' "Footloose" starts playing)
Mike and Matt turn around to begin the song.
Mike:
I've been working so hard
I'm punching my card
Eight hours for what?
Oh, tell me what I got
I've got this feeling
That time's just holding me down
I'll hit the ceiling or else
I'll tear up this town, and
Now I gotta cut loose
{They start doing a synchronized dance routine}
Mike and Matt with New Directions and Alumni:
Footloose, kick off your Sunday shoes
Please, Louise, pull me off of my knees
Jack, get back, come on before we crack
Lose, your blues, everybody cut footloose
{Some of the boys step up to dance along}
New Directions and Alumni:
Ooooh (Matt with New Directions Boys: Cut footloose!)
Ooooh (Matt with New Directions Boys: Cut footloose!)
Ooooh (Matt with New Directions Boys: Cut footloose!)
Ooooh!
Artie with New Directions:
We got to turn it around (Mike with New Directions Boys: Suck it!)
And put your feet on the ground,
Now take the hold of your soul
New Directions:
Ah ah ah ah ah
Artie:
I'm turning you loose!
Mike with New Directions and Alumni:
Footloose, (Matt: Woah, oh!)
Kick off your Sunday shoes (Matt: Oh, yeah!)
Please, Louise (Matt: Oh!),
Pull me off of my knees (Matt: Off my knees!)
Jack, get back (Matt: Oooh!),
Come on before we crack (Matt: Come on and lose your blues!)
Lose your blues
Mike:
Everybody cut, everybody cut (New Directions and Alumni: Ooh!)
Matt:
Everybody cut, everybody cut (New Directions: Ooh!)
Mike and Matt with New Directions Boys and Alumni Boys:
Everybody cut, everybody cut (New Directions: Everybody!)
Mike and Matt with New Directions and Alumni:
Everybody cut footloose!
Matt:
Yeah! (Mike with New Directions and Alumni: Footloose!)
Everyone cheers for the two male dancers as they bow to their audience. They give each other a double high five before sitting down on the stands.
Will steps up for an announcement. "All right, everybody, I wish I could say that this week isn't about competing against each other, but time for one last diva-off!" He said excited. "And apparently, the only song we can sing in a diva-off is Defying Gravity."
"Wait. So we have to listen to Kurt shred that note again?" Santana said rudely.
"For the millionth time, I did it on purpose." Kurt said from his side seat next to Rachel and Mercedes.
"And after we're done singing the song, there will be a secret ballot where you guys can finally answer the age-old question: Who is the true star of the glee club, me or Mercedes?"
"Or me." A mysterious voice said as a figure enters the room, revealing to be Harmony.
"I'm sorry, what?" Rachel said confused.
"Kurt said it would be alright if I joined in on the ballot."
"You did what?" Rachel said turning at Kurt with a shocked and somewhat scared look on her face.
"She asked me and I wasn't sure how to say no." Kurt defended himself nervously.
Mercedes stands up to face Harmony. "Normally I wouldn't like how easily you came here, but any competition of Rachel Berry, is an ally of mine. You're alright snow white." Mercedes said, commenting on Harmony's choice in clothes, with her yellow pants, blue shirt, and red headband, plus she has black hair.
Mercedes steps forward to begin her turn on the song.
Mercedes:
Something has changed within me
Something is not the same
Kurt:
I'm through with playing by the rules
Of someone else's game
Rachel:
Too late for second guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
Harmony:
It's time to trust my instincts
Close my eyes and leap!
{The lights dim until a spotlight is seen at Harmony's spot}
Kurt:
It's time to try defying gravity
Mercedes:
I think I'll try defying gravity
Rachel:
Kiss me goodbye, I'm defying gravity
Mercedes:
And you won't bring me down, no
Rachel:
I'm through accepting limits
'Cause someone says they're so
Mercedes:
Some things I cannot change
But till I try I'll never know!
Harmony:
Too long I've been afraid of
Losing love I guess I've lost
Kurt:
Well, if that's love
It comes at
Rachel:
much too high a cost...
Mercedes:
I'd sooner buy defying gravity
Rachel:
Kiss me goodbye
Mercedes:
I'm defying gravity
Harmony:
I think I'll try defying gravity
Mercedes:
And you won't bring me down
Rachel:
I'd sooner buy defying gravity
Harmony:
Kiss me goodbye I'm defying gravity
Mercedes:
I think I'll try defying gravity
Kurt:
And you won't bring me down
{Everyone applauded Kurt's use of the high note}
Rachel:
Bring me down (Mercedes: down)
Everyone applauded Harmony who was the last to do the song. "Bravo! The song should be on the Broadway."
Harmony furrows her eyebrows. "It is on Broadway."
"Not in any play I've ever seen."
Mercedes stands up to get the papers for everyone to vote. "All right, let's stop playing around. It's time to vote."
"Actually, let's just take a beat and... and just enjoy how amazing those performances were. We'll sleep on it and vote tomorrow. But today, right now, you are all winners." The contenders pause to bask in their performances but look forward to the ballot to be done.
The next day the three contenders Harmony, Rachel and Mercedes each take a third of the New Directions to convince each of them to vote for them, then go to convince the other two groups afterwards. Mercedes took, Artie, Jake, Ryder, Marley and Kitty. Harmony took Tina, Joe, Sugar and Rory. Rachel took Unique, Sam, Blaine and Bree
"It all comes down to how cool you are." Mercedes told her group with confidence. "Rachel Berry and Harmony Pearce, they represent Broadway, the past. I'm the future. A pop diva."
In another room, you see Rachel with her group. "I mean, she may be a pop diva, but the fact is that this song is a hit from one of the longest-running Broadway musicals of all time. And unlike Gerber baby, I'm actually gonna be on Broadway."
Sam raises his hand. "Why do they call it Broadway when most of the theaters are actually not on Broadway?"
In the next room you see Harmony and her group. "You know, I may not know those two as much as you do, but I know that they are this club's past. I can honesty say that I'm still one of you and I think it's important to focus on the here and now. I am that here and now."
With Mercedes. "You know, this vote asks the question, what is Glee Club? I mean, is it a training ground for-for theme park and cruise ship performers who can't wait to get on some outdoor stage and belt out Pippin, or is it a place where stars are born? You know, the kind of stars that you actually hear on the radio."
"I beat Kurt singing this song in our first diva-off." Rachel pointed out, when the pitchers all swapped groups. She's currently with Mercedes' group
Mercedes is now with Harmony's group. "I am better than Rachel. And I was clearly better than the Beret girl at Sectionals."
Sugar salutes her. "Preach sister."
Harmony with Rachel's group makes her pitch. "I am younger, I am more trained, I have much more talent. I am better than them."
"I've always been better than them. Just vote for me." Rachel said with pretend sweetness.
"And let's settle this once and for all time. Amen." Mercedes ended her pitch.
Later that day we find the New God Squad is at the front of the choir room preparing for their number.
"So guys, before we get started, you should know that we aren't doing this as Glee Club members. We're doing this as.. the God Squad." Joe said while holding his guitar, causing Mercedes and Quinn to smile, but Sam furrows his eyebrows.
"Wait, I'm still in the God Squad. How come I wasn't invited?" Sam said.
"Because we're serenading you man. This song is to Sam, Mercedes and Quinn. I hope you remember this. Hit it." And with that...
(Gym Class Heroes' "Stereo Hearts" starts playing)
Joe (Ryder):
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-ote
Make me your radio (Yeah)
And turn me up when you feel low (Turn it up a little bit)
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
Ryder (with Kitty):
Gym Class Heroes baby!
If I was just another dusty (record on the shelf) (Unique:Oh)
Would you blow me off and play me (like everybody else)
If I ask you to scratch my back, (could you manage that?) (Unique:Uh)
Like it Yeah!, check it Trouty, (I can handle that)
Furthermore, I apologize for any (skipping tracks) (Unique:Uh)
Its just the last girl that played me left (a couple cracks)
I used to, used to, used to, used to, (now I'm over that) (Unique:Oh yeah)
Cause holding grudges over love is (ancient artifacts)
Unique:
If I could only find a note to make you understand
I'd sing it softly in your ear and grab you by the hand
Ryder:
Just keep it stuck inside your head, like your (favorite tune)
And know my heart is a stereo that only plays for you (Unique:Oh, woah)
Joe and Unique with Kitty (Ryder):
My heart's a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-ote (Yeah, yeah, yeah, come on)
Make me your radio (Radio)
And turn me up when you feel low (Turn it up)
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
Joe (Ryder):
Oh oh oh oh oh (Yeah haha)
Joe with Kitty:
To my stereo
Joe:
Oh oh oh
Joe with Kitty(Ryder):
So sing along to my stereo(Sing stereo)
Joe (Ryder):
I only pray you never leave me behind (Never leave me)
Because good music can be so hard to find (So hard to find) (Unique: Oh)
I take your head and hold it closer to mine (Unique: Oh, Yeah) (Yeah)
Thought love was dead, but now you're changing my mind (Yeah, come on, wooh!) (Unique: Yeah!)
Joe with Kitty(Unique):
My heart's a stereo (Ryder: Yeah)
(with Unique: It beats for you, so listen close)
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-ote (You gotta make me your radio) (Ryder: Oh oh)
Make me your radio (Ryder: Aha)
(with Unique: And turn me up when you feel low) (Ryder: Turn me up)
This melody was meant for you (Yeah, yeah, yeah) (Ryder: You)
Just sing along to my stereo
After everyone cheered, the original God Squad came up to hug the new one. Quinn hugged Kitty, Mercedes hugged Unique (Obvi) and Sam hugged Ryder.
"Alright Everyone have a seat." Will said and the group obliged. "Okay, guys, we're having our secret ballot at the end of class, but before we get to that, Puckerman has asked to do a number."
Puck stands up and claps his hands. "Actually, Mr. Shue, I was hoping for this number that..."
"Hold up, hold up, Puck. I'm really happy for ya, and I'm gonna let you finish, but first, I would like to uphold the tradition of hijacking this glee club and making everyone sit through what is basically an intervention. Mr. Shue, you said that we could redo some of our favorite numbers, right? Well, then I want to do a dance duet with Brittany." Everyone screamed in excitement. "Hit it."
(The Zutons' "Valerie" starts playing)
Santana:
Well, sometimes I go out by myself
And I look across the water
And I think of all the things, what you're doing
And in my head I paint a picture
{As Brittany starts singing along Mike nods to Matt and they both jump off their seats to the ones in the row in front of them at Brittany's sides}
Brittany and Santana:
Cause since I've come on home
Well, my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Won't you come on over?
Santana (Brittany):
Stop makin a fool out of me (Out of me)
{Mike stands up and starts to dance with Santana, similar to the original performance at Sectionals}
Brittany and Santana (Alumni and New Directions):
Valerie?
Valerie (Why don't you come on over?)
Valerie
Valerie (Why don't you come on over?)
{They separate as Brittany takes off her fur coat and joins in along with Matt who joins Mike in the male side of the dance}
Brittany (Santana):
Well, sometimes I go out by myself
And I look across the water (Oh, yeah)
Santana (Alumni and New Directions):
And I think of all the things, what you're doing
And in my head I paint a picture (I paint a picture)
Brittany (Alumni and New Directions):
I paint a picture (I paint a picture)
Brittany and Santana:
Cause since I've come on home
Well, my body's been a mess
And I've missed your ginger hair
And the way you like to dress
Brittany and Santana (with Alumni and New Directions):
(Won't you come on over)
(Stop makin' a fool) out of me (Me-eh-eh)
I said (why don't you come on over) Valerie?
Valerie
{Santana and Brittany dance together with Mike and Matt dancing around them in sync}
Alumni and New Directions:
Why don't you come on over? (Santana: Valerie)
Why don't you come on over? (Brittany and Santana: Valerie)
Why don't you come on over? (Santana: Mh, Valerie)
Why don't you come on over? (Brittany and Santana: Valerie)
Why don't you come on over? (Santana: Valerie)
Valerie (Santana: Valerie)
Why don't you come on over?
Brittany:
Why don't you come on over (and Santana: Valerie?)
As they end the dance Satana looks to Brittany. "See? This is who you are. This is what happens - when you don't think about it."
Will looks at them amazed. "Wow. I wouldn't want to follow that number, but, uh... if you're still up for it, Puck..."
"Well, you know what, for my number, I think, uh... we should move to the auditorium." Puck smirks.
The Glee Club moved to the auditorium. Some sit on the floor, while others sit on chairs and boxes. Puck grabs his guitar and starts playing it.
(Avril Lavigne's "Keep holding on" starts playing)
Puck:
You're not alone
Together we stand
I'll be by your side, you know I'll take your hand
When it gets cold
And it feels like the end
There's no place to go
You know I won't give in
No I won't give in
{He looks to Quinn, stands up, and walks to her as he sings to her}
Puck with Alumni and New Directions:
Keep holding on
Puck:
'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
Puck with Alumni and New Directions:
Just stay strong
Puck:
'Cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you
Puck (Alumni and New Directions):
There's nothing you could say (Nothing you can say)
Nothing you could do (Nothing you could do)
There's no other way when it comes to the truth
So (with Alumni and New Directions: keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through)
Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
{The original Glee Club 12 (except for Puck and Quinn) step up to the stands of the auditorium and redo the choreography from the original performance}
Puck with Alumni and New Directions harmonizing:
Hear me when I say, when I say I believe
Nothing's gonna change, nothing's gonna change destiny
Whatever's meant to be will work out perfectly
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...
{The current New Directions join the alumni in their dance as Quinn starts to tear up}
Puck with Alumni and New Directions:
Keep holding on
Puck (Alumni and New Directions):
('Cause you know we'll make it through), we'll make it through
(Just stay strong) Just stay strong
('Cause you know I'm here for you), I'm here for you
Puck (Alumni and New Directions):
There's nothing you could say (Nothing you can say)
Nothing you could do (Nothing you could do)
There's no other way when it (with Alumni and New Directions: comes to the truth)
Puck ( with Alumni and New Directions):
Keep holding on
('Cause you know we'll make it through), we'll make it through
After the songs done Joe tilts his head. "You know, I always had a weird connection to that song." He said.
"Hey so did I." Rory said.
"Same with us." Unique said gesturing the her and Ryder.
"Huh, that's weird I did too." Harmony said. "Do you think it means something?"
They all take a moment to look to the ceiling in thought before saying... "NAH." As they ignore it.(But we know what it is right?)
We get back to Puck who looks directly into Quinn's eyes. "I guess I can still saw your heart."
Quinn sniffs before smiling. "I loved the song, but I'm not crying over you. I'm crying because until you sang that song, I had actually forgotten about it. In a couple years... we'll forget all of this."
"Well, that's why you gotta keep holding on to your past. And not be ashamed of it." He tries to reason but she shakes her head.
"I'd rather look forward."
"We all love you for who you are."
Quinn turns to him. "And I'm in love with Biff." She said as she gets up and leaves the room.
Back at the choir room Will gets down to business.
"All right, everybody! No more drama. Time to vote for either Rachel, Mercedes or Harmony."
Santana raises her hand. "Excuse me, Schuester. Before we cast another pointless vote in a meaningless contest that has absolutely no practical ramifications whatsoever, I would like to say some words about my good friend Rachel Berry." Rachel's shocked of these words and she feels honored until she hears what comes out of Santana's mouth next. "Rachel Berry is the most horrible human being on the planet."
"What?" Rachel said with widened eyes.
"Can it, troll." Santana silences her.
"Santana..." Will tries to interrupt but she keeps going.
"You have sold half the people in this room down the river more times than I can count so that you can get a solo or the lead in a musical, and I'm pretty sure that you don't know the names of the other half of the people."
"That's not true." Rachel denies.
"All right, what is his name?" She points to Ryder who raises his hand for attention.
"Rick." She responds wrong. Ryder mouths his name so she can get an idea.
"Exactly. Thank you. See, you've all met Rachel, okay? But I've... I lived with her. Let me tell you what it's like to share a bathroom with this stubby, undergrown little cretin. Someone in that apartment shaves their face and leaves their stubble in the sink, and we all know it ain't Kurt, so do the math."
"That's a lie." Rachel said.
"You know what else is a lie? When you won Prom Queen."
Rachel furrows her eyebrows. "What?"
"Yeah, that's right. You didn't win, okay? Everybody just felt really bad for you, and the two people that you hate most in this whole world, Quinn and I, stuffed the ballot box so that you would win."
Rachel starts to tear up inside. "You're so cruel, Santana. I mean, you're only doing this to me because I'm the lead of Funny Girl and you're just the lowly understudy. You want to make me feel bad because I'm better than you. And you're an awful person." She storms out in sadness and Mercedes goes to follow her.
"Oh! I feel so much better. Let's vote." Santana said grabbing her ballot.
"That was really mean Santana." Harmony said.
"Yeah well, life is unfair Gerber baby. Grow up." She said rudely.
Quinn goes outside to find Biff and decided to tell him the truth about everything... even the Ryan Secrest tattoo.
"What are you talking about? A tattoo?" Biff said after being shocked out the revelations that Quinn laid out on him.
"It's not that bad. I mean, it was..." Quinn tries to defuse the situation.
However Biff interrupts, still shocked. "On your lower back? Ryan Seacrest?"
Quinn rolls her eyes. "I could get it removed."
"There's not a laser big enough. It's the size of Texas. You should've told me this weeks ago."
Puck walks into the scene with furrowed eyebrows and an angry stare at Biff. "Is there a problem here?"
Quinn points to Puck. "Puck, go away. Okay? We're..."
Biff turns to him. "Was she always this big of a liar?" that wording causes Puck to glare harder.
Quinn turns her attention back to him. "I'm coming clean now. Doesn't that mean something?"
"Wh... a baby?" he chuckles without humor. " I mean, what happens if we got married and this kid shows up looking for money? Are you crazy? Was this the loser who knocked you up?" He gestures to Puck.
"Yes, yes. Puck is the father. Yeah. I am looking for acceptance here, okay? This is how I love." She reaches to him but he backs up.
"That may be how you and your loser friends love, but where I come from, you carry your past with you. You are the worst kind of hypocrite. You walk around like you're some Snow frickin' White, but you're really just a dirty little slutbag." She grabs his nose in anger.
"You shouldn't have said that."
"Let go of my nose!" She does. "Ow, God, let go! Am I bleeding?"
"Not yet." Puck starts fighting him.
"You're hurting him! Stop! Knock it off! Stop!" Puck grabs him and throws him in the dumpster,
"Help me get him out of here." Quinn demands.
Puck shakes his head. "Do you have any idea how much better you are than this guy? Look, you can crawl into the trash and help him out, or you can come be with your real friends in the choir room. I'll be waiting." He leaves just before Biff crawls out of the dumpster and they look at each other, not sure what to do now with their relationship.
Back to Plot A...
"All right, everybody. It's time to get this voting nonsense out of the way so that we can continue on with what you all came here for: the music."
"Y'all can use your left hand for anonymity." April said.
"But I'm left-handed." Sam said.
"Then use a foot." She responded.
"Okay." He agrees and actually does it.
After everyone votes they stuff their votes in the ballot box. But Mercedes and Rachel walk in. "Okay, that's everybody. So, um, sorry about that outburst earlier. Mercedes and I have been talking." Rachel begins.
Mercedes finishes. "And we both realize that asking you guys to vote for who's more talented is just, it's completely ridiculous, unproductive and narcissistic. I mean, how could we ask you guys to choose between two beautiful queen divas?"
"So does that mean I win?" Harmony asks.
Will decides to confirm. "Well, funny enough, they did vote, and they did choose. And guess what... You're all equally talented in their eyes. And mine." They all clap for the result.
April grabs their attention. "Excuse me, excuse me. I'd like to apologize. It's not the first time I've raised someone's hopes and then left them on the rocky shores of disappointment and regret. Just ask all of my A.A. sponsors."
"April? We just want to spend the rest of the week singing in peace." Will said oddly upset.
"But I did do was use the last few hours of my NetJets account to bring in someone whose infectious happiness surely will make the next few days that much brighter. Ladies and gentlemen..." She points to the entrance that was mysteriously buttered up, and then a surprise guest shows up... Ms. Holly Holliday!"
"Hola, clase. April, thank you for buttering the floor for me. You know I like to make an entrance."
"Wait, I'm-I'm sorry. How-how do you two know each other?"
"Oh, because there's a whole Facebook page for people who were guests of Glee Club. I'm on it, April..."
April continues. "Blaine's brother, Rachel's mom, that Mexican guy."
"Holly... This is amazing. Where have you been? Oh, I've been everywhere. I quit being a substitute teacher because I couldn't stand being tied down. I like teaching a room full of kids if I know I'm never gonna see them again, but then, if you're any good at it, they keep asking you back, which kind of defeats the purpose. So, I started my trademark Holly Holliday Teachin' Pop-Ups. I just show up at a classroom unannounced, teach a lesson and get the hell out of there. I got arrested a few times." A moment of silence ensued. "But when I heard Glee Club was ending, I ripped off my Pol Pot uniform, hopped on that first flight out of Buenos Aires and came to pay my respects. I even brought a friend." She gestured to the second entrance and another surprise guest... Shelby Corcoran. They all applauded again. Sugar especially.
"Hey everyone. After Holly texted me I had to make it back, so I asked some friends at my daycare center to take care of Beth, so I could see my former rivals one last time.
"Uh, well guys, you know that we're singing our favorite Glee Club songs we've already sung before."
"That's a terrible idea!" Holly said surprising everyone. "Listen, that might be fine for you nerds, but when Holly Holliday is in town, this hot bitch is not looking in the rearview mirror; she's looking forward." She turns to Shelby. "Follow my lead Shelbs. Hit it!"
(Pharrell Williams's "Happy" starts playing)
Holly:
It might seem crazy what I'm 'bout to say
Sunshine she's here, you can take a break
{Shelby points to Jake who steps up to dance, and catch her when she does a trust fall. Mike and Matt join in}
Shelby:
I'm a hot air balloon that could go to space
With the air like 'I don't care,' baby by the way, huh!
Holly and Shelby with April and Will (Alumni, New Directions):
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do
{Blaine walks up to Shelby}
Shelby (Blaine):
Here come bad news, talking this and that (Here come bad news, talking this and that!)
Give me all you got, don't hold back (Don't hold it back!)
Well (with Blaine: I should probably warn you; I'll be just fine!)
No offense to you, don't waste your time (I won't waste my time!)
Here's why
{Everyone starts dancing around the choir room}
Holly and Shelby with April and Will (Alumni, New Directions, April and Will):
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do
{They all go in a circle and Marley steps in the middle of it and starts dancing. Shortly after Jake dances along with her}
Holly (Alumni, New Directions, April and Will):
(Happy) Bring me down, can't nothing
(Happy) Bring me down, your love is too high
(Happy) Bring me down, can't nothing
Holly and Shelby (Alumni, New Directions, April and Will):
(Happy) Bring me down, (with Alumni, New Directions, and April and Will: I said I tell you now)
(Happy, happy, happy, happy) Bring me down, can't nothing
(Happy, happy, happy, happy) Bring me down, your love is too high
(Happy, happy, happy, happy) Bring me down, can't nothing
(Happy, happy) Bring me down (with Alumni, New Directions, April and Will: I said)
{They all start dancing together}
Holly with April, Blaine and Will (Alumni, New Directions):
(Mercedes with Alumni, New Directions and April: Because I'm happy!)
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof (Mercedes: Without a roof!)
(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth (Mercedes: If you feel!)
(Because I'm happy)

(Because I'm happy)
Clap along if you feel (with Mercedes: like that's what you wanna do)
April, Blaine, Holly, Mercedes, Shelby and Will with Alumni, New Directions:
Because I'm happy!
Later that day, we find Puck standing in the old mens locker room gazing at the hung up number 5 football jersey belonging to his late best friend Finn Hudson. He decided that it was the time to look back to his past one last time and think about his old friend one last time. Though deceased, it feels like Finn's been watching over him all this time. Quinn walks up behind him, apparently having the same idea. She actually loved Finn more than he did. They were each other's first loves after all.
"He forgave us for what we did, right?" Puck asked still looking at the jersey.
"A long time ago." She feels comfort in those words knowing that Finn died without hating her. "And we saved him. Rachel was his soul mate."
"Who's yours? Biff?"
"He's going back to Yale. Alone."
"Yeah, I think I'm gonna blow this place, too. Unless there's a reason for me to stay." He hints to her and she turns her eyes to him. "'Cause I know who my soul mate is."
Quinn shakes her head at him. "You don't want me. I'm terrible at having a relationship that involves any level of honesty." She said, definitely sure that the relationship wouldn't work between them.
Puck finally turns back to her. "I love you. Just tell me to stay. 'Cause the truth is there's only one guy that you were ever really honest with." He starts to have a face that begs for her. "Just tell me to stay. Please." He said begging her to tell him that. He needs her to tell her that she wants him to stay, that she loves him, that she wants to be with him. But he is only met with silence, so he walks away from the hallway feeling alone. But as he prepares to leave Quinn runs up from behind him and grabs him to turn him around.
She then proceeds to kiss him passionately before pulling back seconds later, but it felt like it had been years. "Stay." She said causing Puck to smile, and spin her around.
"I want to show you guys something."
Will had gathered the OGs together at the auditorium to show them a really important surprise. Something that they will always remember and care for.
"All of you that were together from the very beginning when the glee club was just a dream." He stops at a desk. A desk that holds the plaques of Lillian Adler and Finn Hudson. "Their new and final resting places. For as long as McKinley's around, all the students who travel through this auditorium are gonna see these."
"And have absolutely no idea who they are." Artie said half-heartedly.
Santana looked at the plaque, and held in how emotional she was feeling"You know what? This is crazy. Because I could really give two poops about this place, but this is really getting to me."
Quinn felt the same. "I know. Why is that?"
Will answers. "We were all raised by different parents. But we grew up together in the glee club. It's a part of all of us. Of course you're sad about it."
Mike shakes his head. "I don't know, Mr. Schue. With this and Finn, it's kind of hard to believe that anything lasts."
Will looks down for a moment before turning back to them. "I don't have any more pep talks. I just have you guys. And the memory of the people on this wall. My friends. I mean, we share this special bond. We're the only ones in the world who-who know what this glee club meant to us. What it felt like to sing together. To be... to be together. And what it feels like to say good-bye to it. I didn't come here to cheer you up. Just to thank you. To thank you for going on this ride with me." He starts to sob for a moment before looking back to them with his eyes widened. "Oh, I almost forgot. Last time the Glee Club was over, you guys sang to me in this very auditorium. And this time... I want to sing to you guys." He goes behind the desk to pick up a guitar and ukulele, which causes the glee club to smile knowing exactly what he's about to sing. "I know I sang this in celebration of the Glee Club being saved, but... this time I want to sing this to remind us of how much this club meant to us." He holds out the guitar to Puck. "Puck?" He said to him who nodded and grabbed the guitar and sat on the desk, while Will and his Ukulele and went to the stool.
(Judy Garland's "Over the Rainbow" Starts playing)
Will with Puck:
Ooooo hoooooo hoooooo...
Will:
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I dreamed of
Once in a lullaby... (Puck: lullaby...)
{Santana puts her head on Brittany's shoulder and Brittany puts her head on hers}
Will with Puck:
Somewhere over the rainbow
Will:
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true... (Puck: come true)
Oh, Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are
Far behind me...
{Mike and Matt recreate their fist-bump from last time}
Will with Puck:
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me...
{Quinn looks at Puck and they share a smile}
Will:
Oh, somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why, then, oh, why can't I...? (Puck: I...?)
Will ends the song with tears coming down his eyes. The group takes it as a cue to put him in a middle of a good old group hug which he appreciates. He puts on a smile for them. "All right, come on. We've still got a few days until, uh, Sue shuts the lights out on the choir room, so... let's make the most of them."
In the higher level of that very stage, April, Holly and Shelby are sitting down watching them from above with wine bottles.
"I mean, I know we got to finish our wine first." Holly said.
"Mmm." Shelby agrees. "I don't get a lot of chances to drink with a kid back home."
"Darn right. But when we do, we cannot let that glee club go the way of the dodo."
"Oh, couldn't have said it better myself. Holly Holliday, Shelby Corcoran... we're going to save that glee club." They tap their bottles together before sipping together.

Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I'd like to point out that the New God Squad was made because Alex Newell, and Blake Jenner are in fact religious, so I decided that maybe I should use that as an opportunity to play one of my all time favorite Glee songs Stereo Hearts. Also I hope you understood the little hint I put up in there. And also what did you think about Harmony being in the diva-off? I thought it would be a good idea to use that to scare Rachel one last time in this part of the series.
