A young girl walks to her mother as she sat on their dark red fancy couch with a white blanket in her hands. Her mother was tall, with muave skin, blond hair and large dark red horns. She was wearing a black dress with a pearl necklace as she held the small baby. The tall woman looked at the small girl, she was around 9 years old with long blonde hair and skin as white as snow. Her cheeks had large red dots adorning them, matching her ruby eyes. Her dress was long and white and she was wearing ruby red slippers. The mother looked down at her, "Oh Charlotte, you're finally here. Come, say hello to your little brother."

Charlotte looks down at the small baby wrapped in a white cloth. He was blonde with a small patch of black hair in the middle of his forehead. His skin matched their mother's, a light muave color, though upon closer inspection it seemed as though the boy had fur. His eyes were red with yellow scelara, a white shine in his big eyes. Upon his head was two dark red horns with darker stripes and underneath the blanket, he had a small goat tail.
She poked at his small cheek, "Woah, Mama! He's so teeny-tiny!"

The mother giggled, "Yes, he is rather small, isn't he? But he'll grow, don't you worry."

Charlotte kept poking at his face, causing him to giggle, "Hehe, I think he should be small forever! He's so cute!"

The father of the two children awkwardly walked into the room, "Hello, sweet daughter of mine! Lilith, sweetie, I'm here now."

Lilith smiled sweetly at her husband, "I see that, Lucifer. It took you a while to get back here."

Charlotte sat on the bed, still playing with her newborn brother as her father leaned down to kiss her mother on the cheek. He gazed at the small baby lovingly, he felt that his family was now complete...

About a year later, Charlotte was enjoying her time playing with her baby brother as he grew. As he got bigger, she and her parents noticed that his knees seemed to be growing... Backwards? With small red nails on his feet, it was evident that his legs resembled a goat's and his feet were similar to hooves.

Lilith was enjoying her time watching her children play together. Francis tried to get up to stand but he had fallen onto the floor, so he started crawling to his sister. Charlotte leaned down to see her baby brother crawling behind her on the floor better, "Francis, you almost got it! But hey, you're crawling! That's good!" The baby boy giggled at her, trying to reach for his sister.

To her surprise, the small tyke then burped as a small flame popped out of his mouth. Further amazing his sister as well as his father. Lucifer was walking through the room, "That's my boy! What a fireball! Did you see that, Charlie?"

"Chawie!"

"He said my name! He said my name! Dad! Mom, I was his first word!"

Lilith giggled majestically, "Yes, I heard him, Charlotte. Though I suppose he doesn't know how to pronounce your full name yet."

Charlie giggled with her mother, tickling Francis's stomach, "That's okay! I like being called 'Charlie' anyway! Say it again, Francis! Say it again!"

The baby smiled at his sister's excitement, "Chawie! Chawie! Chawie!"

Charlie continued to jump up and down around her brother in excitement. Francis giggled at his sister's antics, attempting to jump along with her. Though it only resulted in him making a jumping motion while sitting down. The room was filled with the sound of childrens' laughter.

Years later, the siblings started attending school in Hell. Specifically a private academy meant for demons of royal lineage. After their mother had left, the two siblings had been being dropped off by their father's white limo. But today, Charlie wanted a bit of a change in their routine. She wanted to take a walk to school, get to know the citizens of Hell on their way to a place of learning. Francis often followed Charlie wherever she went so it wasn't hard to convince him to come with her.

Though, the boy did tug on his backpack nervously, "Charlie, are you sure this is a good idea?" He played with the keychain of a dark blue manticore demon on his backpack.

Charlie nodded enthusiastically, "Of course, Francis! Haven't you ever wanted to get to know more about the people of our home?"

Francis shook his head quickly, "No, not really."

His older sister still smiled awkwardly, "Oh... Well today, that changes! Now, let's go!"

The boy shrugged, "Well, okay then!" He took his sister's hand as they excited their large house and walked onto the sidewalk.

The two greeted the other demons on the street, which was occupied by violent looking creatures. The walk was enjoyable for all of a few minutes until the two walked right into a crowd of demons,

Francis reached over in the crowd, spotting his keychain sliding away from him on the ground due to people unknowingly kicking it, "No, Zephyr!" The boy couldn't see where it landed but a cat-like demon with wings picked it up. He scanned the crowd for the owner but because Francis was so small, he simply shrugged and kept it in his pocket to see if he could find the owner later.

Meanwhile Charlie tugged her little brother from the crowd and they both bumped into a large man who was with a smaller demon. The demon tilted his head, "Oh looky here, Bob! Two fancy lookin' demons! But uh, they kinda look familiar..."

The taller man loomed over the pair of siblings. He was holding a knife in his right hand as he looked down at them, "Well they definitely gotta have some cash on 'em!"

Francis growled at the man, slowly walking closer to him with glowing eyes.

The man's companion started to pull on his arm, "Wait, DUDE! Let's not anger the little demon brat!"

Charlie held her brother's shirt, trying to pull him away from the men, "Francis, come on, stop it!"

A loud voice could be heard throughout the air, "That's enough! Back away from my children!"

All eyes were on the pale figure with blonde hair, red horns sticking out of his head. While he was shorter than the men, there was no denying that this was Lucifer, the King of Hell himself.

Lucifer picked up both children and shoved them in the back of the white limo, "Nope, I knew I knew better. Never again! You two aren't walking to school ever again." He buckled the seatbelt for his daughter, "And you're both getting bodyguards!"

Charlie pouted at him, "Aw but Dad-"

Their dad shook his head, "No, Charlie, no is my final decision on the matter."

The girl frowned but turned to help her little brother buckle his seatbelt. Francis' tail wagged, "Thanks Charlie!"

Charlie, despite being frustrated, smiled at her brother, "You're welcome, Francis..."

After a short drive, the driver stopped the limo in front of the school. Lucifer raised his hand before the kids got out of the car, "Wait... Francis, may I see the stuffed animal you keep in your backpack?"

The boy tilted his head, unzipping his bag, "Oh, which one? I have a lot in here. Ah! Charlie! I found Razzle!" The boy pulled out a small goat demon plushie with red hair, black horns and wings from his backpack.

Charlie smiled and hugged the plushie, "Razzle! My sweet baby boy! See, I thought he was in your backpack."

The boy laughed, "Hehe... Sorry, I think I confused him with Dazzle one day and put him in my bag by mistake." He then pulled out a similar looking plushie but with orange hair and sharper eyes, "But Dazzle is in here too!" Francis turned to his father, "So, why do you want to see the toys in my backpack?"

Lucifer flicked his wrist, engulfing both toys with white magic. Both Charlie and Francis had to cover their eyes as their plushies came to life. The twin toys blinked and rubbed their eyes as Lucifer smirked at them, "Razzle, your job is to protect my daughter, Charlie. Dazzle, your job is to protect my son, Francis."

Charlie's eyes went wide as Razzle flew closer to her, "What the... Dad, I didn't know you could do that! Razzle can fly now, he's straight up blinking at me!"

When the Francis opened his eyes, he were met with Dazzle now flying around him. Francis's eyes sparkled, "Woooooah, Dad, how'd you do that?" He shook Dazzle's hand, eyes still sparkling.

Lucifer laughed, "You two are so easily impressed. It's a secret magic trick only dads know! Now, it's probably best for you both to get to class now."

From that day on, the siblings had new bodyguards. Razzle the red goat demon was to protect Charlie while Dazzle, the orange goat demon's job is to protect Francis...

Francis was sitting on the floor reading a book in between his sister, Charlie and her boyfriend, Seviathan. He awkwardly tried to put a hand on his girlfriend's shoulder, which proved difficult due to the child's presence.

The nine-year-old goat boy was given the task of making sure the two studied during their date by his father though Francis will admit he would have done this even without Lucifer asking him to. The child smiled pleasantly at his sister, who was studying a book on demon psychology.

Seviathan was obviously not happy about having to be in the same room as his girlfriend's little brother, grumbling as he lazily flipped through his book.

Charlie raised an eyebrow at him, "Hey Seviathan, sweetie, do you know the answer on page 90?"

Seviathan shrugged his shoulders, "Well uh, babe. I don't know, I haven't been able to focus the whole time I've been here. I think I would be able to focus more if your little brother wasn't here with us."

That comment made Francis noticably frown but he took a deep breath as his sister scrambled to explain why her brother was in the room with them. The little brother sniffed the air, "Oh man what's that smell? Charlie, do you smell that? It smells like burnt chocolate."

Charlie sniffed next, "Uh, are you sure? I don't think I smell anything."

Francis shook his head, "No it's there alright. Say, isn't Razzle making brownies right about now?" His sister nodded her head as she pondered.

Outside the room, in the kitchen, Dazzle was attempting to strike a match on a box in order to gain Charlie's attention. Eventually it worked and the wooden stick caught on fire, the smell eventually reaching Charlie's nose.

Charlie ran out of her bedroom in fear of the house burning down, "I'll take care of you! You two just stay here and keep calm!"

The older teen boy pointed a finger at the younger boy, "Now, you listen here you little sh-"

But before Seviathan could even finish his threat, Francis sank his fangs into the finger in his face.

Seviathan pulled his finger out of his mouth, "AH! Crap, you bite hard!"

Francis smirked at him, "Of course I do! What do you think these fangs are for? Now, one thing you're not going to do is threaten the son of Lucifer in his own house! If I had my way, you'd be gone by now."

Before Seviathan could say anything back, Charlie walked back into the room with a smile. She hugged Francis closer to her, "It was a false alarm! Dazzle seemed to be playing with some matches, what a michievious little guy he is! What were you guys talking about?"

Her little brother smiled and hugged her back, "Oh, just about the latest. Isn't that right, Seviathan?"

Seviathan glared at Francis but quickly turned it into a toothy grin as his girlfriend looked at him, "Uh, yeah, we were just talking about that."

Charlie giggled, "Aww, I'm so glad to see my boyfriend and my baby brother getting along so well!"

The two boys continued to throw glares at each other for the rest of Seviathan's visit. Needless to say, Francis was very happy when he found out Charlie broke up with the jerk a few months later.

And just two years later, Charlie had found her calling. An idea she thought up for months has finally became a reality, a hotel to try and redeem sinners. Now that she has officially gotten the hotel in her name, she was prepared to move.

After saying goodbye to her dad, Charlie took a deep breath but smiled. She picked up her bags as she prepared to leave her childhood home. Until she heard a voice from behind her.

"...Do you have to go?" Francis tried not to whimper, the tears welling up in his eyes.

"Aw Francis..." She quickly pulled her brother into a hug, "I'm sorry, but I have to... The people of Hell need me to help them and the only way I can do that is if I'm in the hotel with them."

Francis pouted but he did hug her back, "I know... But, ugh..."

She smiled down at him, "Besides, you're a big kid now, you know that. Besides, you have Dazzle!"

The boy rubbed the back of his head, "Uh, actually... I want to give Dazzle to you."

Charlie raised an eyebrow, "Uh, what? Why? He's YOUR bodyguard."

Francis shook his head, "Well if you're going to be living by yourself in the hotel, I want you to have a little more protection. Just in case. Besides, it'll be like I'm there, even when I'm not." He turned to his small bodyguard, "Dazzle, I want you to join Razzle and protect Charlie from now on!"

Dazzle squeaked before flying around Charlie, joining Razzle in his job.

Charlie stood up, petting Dazzle on the head, "Are you really sure about this, Francis?"

Her brother nodded his head, "Of course, I'm perfectly fine with this, Charlie. Besides, I want to see if I can make more bodyguards like dad does! Can you imagine me with a whole army of plushies? That would be so cool!"

Charlie laughed before ruffling his hair, "That would be adorable, Francis. I think you would be an amazing little boss man with an army of plushies..." She then hugged him one more time before walking outside the door so she could move into her own hotel.

A month later and Francis still wasn't used to Charlie not being in the house with him. He would often sleep in her bed and pretend that she was still there. This night however, as he laid in her bed, he couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned, but not matter what he did the young boy couldn't get his eyes to close. He sat up on his bed and rubbed his eyes, "Man... I hate this feeling..."

So... Francis picked up his phone and clicked on Charlie's number to call her. He put the phone up to his ear... One ring... Two rings... And as the third ring chimed, he quickly pressed the red button. He shook his head, "No, no, I shouldn't bother her. She's probably tired from all the hotel work she has to do..."

Then, he saw Charlie call him on his phone so he pressed the green button. Charlie spoke first in a whisper, sounding like she just woke up, "Francis? Is something wrong?"

Francis shook his head, "N-no! Just, you know, wanted to see how you were doing..." Despite trying to seem unbothered, his voice sounded nervous.

She giggled a little, "Hey, it's okay if you're still scared of the dark, you know."

Francis fake scoffed on the phone, "Pfft, no! I'm a big kid now, like you said! But, uh... Can you stay on for a little bit? The extermination is tomorrow and uh, we both know how we get nervous."

Charlie smiled at her phone, "That's no problem, Francis... Do you want to talk about anything?"

"Can you..." Francis played with the blanket covering him, "Can you tell that story? About how Mom and Dad met?"

Charlie smiled fondly as she started to tell the story of their parents. She knew he would be safe at their dad's house, they were always safe during the previous exterminations... Charlie didn't stop talking on the phone until she heard Francis's light snoring...
