A/N: Just thought I'd do a little something to help. Since my interest in Inspector Gadget was sparked somewhat, I decided to make this story for if "Inspector Gadget" was released alongside "American Dragon Jake Long", which I might work on as "American Dragons Jake Long and Rose Anderson" this month, in 2005. The main cast for the story are Don Adams as Inspector Gadget, Cree Summer as Penny, Frank Welker as Brain and Dr. Claw, and Kevin Hart as the Gadgetmobile. And the first 4 parts of the story are based on Kcruzer's "The Incredible Growing Penny" story. So, this one's for you.

The intro begins with a car's siren with said siren revealed to be a siren from on top of Gadget's fedora. In the streets, he was seen reading a map while on his gadget roller skates, unaware of a bo-ped driver zooming past him. When he did, he inadvertently caused Gadget to swerve with the map on his face. Gadget got the map off his face just in time to see a truck hurtling towards him, much to his, and the truck driver's panic, forcing Gadget to use his legs to go above the truck. However, the moment he jumped, he wound up flying in his jetpack straight towards an alleyway. Once there, leaned toward the scanner, which scanned his eyes and granted him access as the trash can opened up, revealing below it, a sort of tube. He enters and it lowers, taking him to a sort of HQ.

Once near the vending machine, he taps several buttons on it before it opened, revealing none other than the police chief, Chief Quimby himself. He presented a letter, which detailed a sort of crime scene, prompting Gadget to dash off onto the scene, though not without closing the vending machine, trapping Quimby along with the message, which self-destructed on him just as a dog named Brain peeped out from the side and saw Gadget jumping out the window in time to use his Gadget Copter, which popped out of his hat, allowing him to glide along the air as Brain looked out the window, as did Gadget's blonde, pig-tailed niece named Penny before they turned to each other.

Sometime later, Gadget, in the air, noticed not only the Gadget Mobile, but inside it, Penny and Brain with the LED face of the Gadget Mobile (apparently on auto-pilot) in-between them, much to his slight surprise. Nevertheless, he stretched his arm toward the Gadget Mobile and grabbed on, prompting Brain and Penny to open the convertible and allow him inside with Gadget at the driver's seat, unaware that Dr. Claw, watching from his monitor, was seeing this as he raised his right arm, spun his mechanical claw around and closed it tightly as MADcat gave an evil smirk.

Once inside Dr. Claw's castle, Gadget was almost immediately besieged with MAD Agents. Fortunately for Gadget, Penny and Brain hacked into the castle's controls and opened up a floorboard, causing the MAD Agents to fall into the trap as Gadget jumps above it and crosses his way into the main control room.

There, he meets Dr. Claw. But the moment he turned the chair around and handcuffed him, he turned out to be a fake with a spring attached to the dummy with a picture of his smug, evil face with short, black hair on top of his head, much less a bomb nesting on the chair. From there, it was only a matter of time before, much to Gadget's shock, the bomb exploded with the gears moving from left to right and vice-versa before showing a dimming red light at the left side of the screen, which now showed the series' metallic logo with a gear in-between the two words.

Then, the logo lost a spring before the whole logo came apart and spewed out nuts and bolts everywhere, revealing a black screen.

Chapter 1: Attack of the 50 Foot Penny

One day, Gadget was battling a monstrous Venus flytrap, which roared as it lunged its vines at him.

"Wowsers! I heard of people getting hangry, but plants? This is ridiculous!", Gadget commented.

Dr. Claw laughed in triumph over what he is seeing unfold.

"Be sure to work up a mega appetite, my flytrap! I want him to be extra tasty for you!", Dr. Claw smirked.

Meanwhile, Penny and Brain, who saw what was going on, grew especially worried for the inspector.

"Brain, you try to create a distraction while I try to get that formula away and reverse it.", Penny urged.

"'Right.'", Brain barked.

So, they went separate ways with Brain putting on a flower disguise. Once he jumped up and danced, the dancing attracted the Venus flytrap. And almost instantly, it began to blush with a lovesick smile and drop Gadget down in favor of getting to know the beautiful flower, not knowing it's actually Brain.

"Phew. You, sir, are in need of some fine trimming. Go-Go Gadget Hedge trimmer!"

But instead of a hedge trimmer, it was a lovely bouquet of flowers, which was handed to the creature before it turned to Gadget.

"I said Hedge Trimmer, not flower bouquet.", Gadget said.

The flytrap simply roared at Gadget. Of course, the detective was undeterred.

"Have you considered a breath mint?", gadget asked, puzzling the monster.

"What is going on? Do something!", Dr. Claw urged.

"What's the big idea?! You're supposed to attack Gadget, not fall in love with a plant!", a MAD Agent shouted.

Meanwhile, Penny was carefully sneaking toward the MAD Agent.

"Easy does it... You're almost there...", Penny said to herself, treading carefully behind him.

"Seriously?! , you stupid weed! Attack Gadget!", the MAD agent shouted.

Brain, sensing that the plant was starting to turn back, grew worried as he saw Penny nearly there. So, to buy some time, the dog quickly started running to cause the plant monster to go after him to buy time for Penny to grab the formula. As expected, the monster began to chase him.

"Hey, where are you going? I want to see how your relationship blossoms!", Gadget shouted, following after the flytrap monster.

The good news was, it did buy Penny some time to get closer to the formula.

"Almost... got it...!", Penny grunted.

But the bad news was, it wasn't a done deal yet. As the flytrap monster chased Brain, it inadvertently pushed Penny toward the MAD Agent, also causing her to accidentally spray the growth formula on herself, making her have a coughing fit. Unfortunately, it also attracted the attention of a MAD agent.

"What the heck was this stuff?!", Penny coughed.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing, girlie?!", the MAD Agent exclaimed.

Penny gasped before she was quickly caught by said MAD Agent.

"Oh, no!"

"Attention, all MAD Agents! Gadget is in the building!"

This caught Gadget's attention.

"Penny?", Gadget puzzled.

In no time, the other MAD Agents swarmed the place and apprehended Gadget while Brain was finally caught by the flytrap monster.

"Gadget's captured, Dr. Claw. And we managed to capture some intruders, too."

"Excellent. Bring them over to me.", Dr. Claw ordered.

Later, Gadget, Penny, and Brain were tied up in the chairs before Dr. Claw, his face still hidden as it only showed the back of the chair in which Dr. Claw was sitting in.

"Finally...! At long last, Gadget is mine! And I am more than pleased to find these two accomplices.", Dr. Claw spoke victoriously.

"You'll never get away with this, Dr. Claw!", both Penny and Gadget shouted in unison before turning to each other in puzzlement.

"Oh, I think you'll find that this time, I will!", Dr. Claw said before laughing maniacally as MADCat laughed as well.

"Take him back to the greenery. I want to see this plan proceed accordingly this time. We'll figure out what to do with the intruders later.", Dr. Claw said.

"You got it, boss.", the MAD Agent said, taking Gadget away in a very big hurry as he laughed.

"Uncle Gadget!", Penny shouted.

"Everything's gonna be okay, Penny! I'll figure a way out of this!", Gadget assured.

"I just love to see you try. How about you, MADcat?", Dr. Claw asked as he picked up the cat, who snickered with a hiss in agreement before he left. "As for the rest of you, stay here and keep an eye on the girl and her dog. We'll figure out what to do with you later."

"You got it, boss.", the remaining MAD Agents saluted.

"That's all I ask.", Dr. Claw said happily, certain of his victory as the doors closed.

"Wow. Dr. Claw's in a really good mood today, huh?", the first MAD agent asked.

"Yeah. Today, Gadget's finally gonna get what's comin' to him, so not hard to see why.", the second MAD agent said, worrying Penny, who gasped before suddenly getting angry, puzzling Brain as she started struggling to break free.

"Grr…! I can't let them hurt Uncle Gadget…! I won't!"

Penny groaned angrily as she started to grow, her clothes starting to tear at the seams, albeit not by very much. As she grew, especially to a point that her clothes tore in some places while her hair was finally let down and her arms burst through the windows while Brain watched in concern and the two MAD Agents conversed with each other.

"Yeah, but what we don't know is how he's gettin' what's comin' to him."

"Hey, you're right. We don't know. How do you think he's going down?"

"Well, since that plant monster's not here with us, maybe Gadget will be fed to it."

"Oh. Yeah, but isn't that what we already tried the last time?"

Before the MAD Agent could answer, he saw Penny growing bigger in height and growling angrily as the warehouse began to crumble.

"RUN!", the two MAD Agents shouted before they and Brain escaped.

Just in time, too. Eventually Penny's head burst from the ceiling of the warehouse, which broke in half to be in the shape of a sort of dress as Brain and the two MAD Agents could only watch. When she stood up, the bottom of the warehouse came apart, allowing her free range of movement.

"Huh? What just happened? It's like everything shrunk. Unless...", Penny puzzled with eventual realization.

To add to that, she also looked down and saw the warehouse now acting as new clothes.

"Wowsers! I've turned into a giant! It must've been that growth formula that made me grow.", Penny guessed, inspecting her now gigantic body for a moment. "Okay, you can worry about this later, Penny. Right now, you gotta look for Uncle Gadget and save him."

She then bent down toward Brain.

"Come on, Brain. We've got a Gadget to save.", Penny urged.

Brain nodded before hopping onto her hand. From there, the giantess stomped away as she put Brain on her head. Meanwhile, the two MAD Agents could only look on as the giantess made for the greenery.

"I should've been a florist like Mama wanted...", one of the MAD Agents said.

Meanwhile, at the greenery, Gadget was poised to be hung above the eagerly awaiting flytrap monster.

"You'll never get away with this, Dr. Claw! Tell me what you plan on doing with my niece right now!", Gadget shouted.

"So, the girl is your niece, eh? Well, don't worry. Whatever we will have planned for her, we saved the worst for you, Gadget!"

Of course, at that moment, one of the MAD Agents accompanying him spotted something big, or rather someone big, and turned to his boss.

"Um... Dr. Claw? We have a problem.", the MAD Agent said.

"You idiot! How many times do I have to remind you not to interrupt me when I'm gloating!", Dr. Claw shouted.

"S-Sorry, sir. But the girl is on the loose!", the MAD Agent reported.

"WHAT?!" Dr. Claw said, momentarily losing his cool before regaining it just as quickly. "No matter. The warehouse we left her in is built like a fortress. She can't leave it."

"B-but that's the thing, Dr. Claw, sir...", the MAD Agent began before the roof of the greenery was torn off, allowing Penny's gigantic shadow to loom over Gadget, the flytrap plant, Dr. Claw, and the MAD agent.

"...S-She didn't leave it."

Once Dr. Claw turned, only the back of his head being seen, he sounded quite aghast with shock and surprise.

"YOU BETTER NOT HAVE HURT MY UNCLE GADGET, DR. CLAW!", Penny glared.

"Well, it looks like your fortress is now my niece's 'fort-dress'.", Gadget joked before Penny reached down and grabbed Dr. Claw, trapping him in her two hands for a moment before then using her one hand to wind up.

"I'll get you next time, Gadget! And your niece and that dog, too!", Dr. Claw said as Brain nodded to Penny before she then tossed him away, sending him soaring away into the air. "NEEEEEXT TIIIIIIIIIME!"

Gadget then turned to the MAD agent near him, but not before the flytrap monster whimpered and fled away, barking like a scared dog.

"Care to surrender?", Gadget asked smirkingly.

"Oh, drat it...", the MAD agent groaned.

"Whew...! That's a relief...", the blonde, pig-tailed giantess sighed before her eyes started to drop a bit heavily.

"I... I think I feel... sleepy...", Penny said woozily.

She looked for a place to lie down, which so happened to be where the warehouse used to be. And when she got there, she yawned and laid down, though not without setting Brain down. As she slept, Gadget caught up to Brain.

"I suppose even big girls need to rest every now and then.", Gadget stated.

Later, the MAD Agents were apprehended while Penny was now held in Gadget's arms, a blanket over her normal, sleepy body.

"Congratulations, Gadget. The MAD Agents are now behind bars. Unfortunately, we couldn't find Dr. Claw anywhere as of yet. But we'll keep looking."

"It's all right, Chief. I know something will come up sooner or later.", Gadget assured.

"U-Uncle Gadget...", Penny said in her sleep.

"Aww..." Brain said as Penny slept peacefully in Gadget's arms, a warm smile visible on her face.

"Don't worry, Penny. Uncle Gadget's safe. Just get some rest.", Gadget assured.

Meanwhile, in a remote island, Dr. Claw was discovered to have landed there, along with MADcat.

"Curses...! You may have foiled me gigantically this time, but rest assured...! Crime always pays! Always has... and always WILL! GADGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!", Dr. Claw shouted.
